Chapter 6: Wow, the Vow

Harry, Hermione, Tonks, Sirius and the Twins didn't move from the kitchen for two hours while Weasley's famous organization and time planning came to the play. They were sitting at a table chatting lightly. In the meanwhile Molly Weasley and the youngest two siblings were rushing around the house trying to pack up.

When they ended packing up, Ginny and Ron came to the kitchen and said their goodbyes. Then Molly, Ginny and Ron flooed to the Burrow. Remaining residents of Grimmauld Place sat in silence for a few moments. First to break the silent was Sirius.

"Why?" He asked quietly looking at the red-haired twins. "And please, without ping-pong"

"We are of age. We think we will be more useful here than at the Burrow. And without our mother, we think we can help with training Harry." The right one twin said.

"And we are tired of being treated like small kids." added the left one.

"What do you mean by training Harry?" Tonks asked.

"Please do not insult our intelligence." The twins said in unison.

"After your shock yesterday, Tonks" Fred said.

"and your four were spending some time alone" George added.

"in silent room"

"then today Sirius stopped our mother from giving us work"

"and no one of you was shocked."

"So we figured that you are…"

"up to no good!" They ended in unison.

"Wow, they are good" Sirius said with a grin.

"We are not asking why" said George.

"We only want to be useful" added Fred.

"Could you give us a moment?" Harry asked the Twins.

"Of course, oh mighty basilisk slayer." They said in unison, bowed and went to their room.

"What did they call you?" Tonks asked.

"Basilisk slayer" Hermione answered for Harry. "In our second year Harry defeated a millennium old basilisk from the Chamber of the Secrets. He killed him with a Gryffindor's sword." At that answer both adults' jaws dropped.

"What? You didn't heard? I thought that was all over papers." Harry said.

Tonks and Sirius both shake their heads. Harry and Hermione looked at each other with wide eyes.

"Do you want to tell me that the headmaster covered up the whole thing about the 60-foot long basilisk walking around the school?" Hermione asked.

"It looks like it" Sirius said. After a few moment of silence he added "That old fool allowed fucking basilisk to walk around school full of children. He is mad."

"I think we can tell you more about what's going inside the castle, but first I think we must discuss the Twins matter." Hermione said.

"If they could promise not to tell anyone about what we are planning, then I'm ok with them knowing." Harry said.

"Do you want an Unbreakable Vow from them?" Sirius suggested.

"I don't really know" Harry answered. "I think I'm not a big fun of that idea but if you think it's good thing then I agree"

"Err.. I think this is not a good idea" Hermione started. "After all, they were loyal to us and even gave Harry the Map. The Vow can be dangerous."

"On the other hand, they can spy on us for Dumbledore. The Vow could be proof for us that we are safe. In the end we are plotting against the most powerful man in magical world." Tonks said.

"I agree with Nymphadora" On hearing her first name Tonks get her hair red "It's for our safety, especially Harry's" everyone nodded. No one wants to play with Harry's safety. After that Hermione and Sirius started to work on Vow wording with very little help from Harry and Tonks.

After half an hour words of the Vow were ready. Tonks went for Twins. She came back in a minute with them. After everyone sat at the table, Sirius drew his wand and magically sealed the door.

"Sorry guys, but this is too important. We give you two options. You can give us an Unbreakable Vow or we obliviate you and we will send you to the Burrow. " Harry and Hermione gasped. Obliviating wasn't part of their plan, they didn't discuss it. Tonks was not touched by it.

Twins looked at each other, nodded and said in unison "Vow". At that statement everyone was slightly relaxed.

"So this is really important?" Fred asked seriously.

"Positive" Hermione said.

"But before we tell you anything more, you must take a Vow." Sirius said. "Tonks, do you know how to be a witness to Vow?"

"Yes, I know" Auror said.

"Great. So I will be a witness to Harry and Fred while you will be for Hermione and George." Sirius said and everyone nodded and stood up from the kitchen table. Harry grabbed Fred's arm while Hermione did the same to George. Sirius and Tonks stood beside the respective pair. Young auror nodded at Marauder and they put tips of their wands to teenagers' hands. Harry and Hermione started simultaneous speaking.

"Will you, Fred/George, keep all the skills we will train and demonstrate here in complete secrecy until Harry Potter releases you from this duty?"

"I will" Twins said together.

From wands of witnesses emitted a tiny stream of fire that wrapped around their hands. They felt warm filling from that fire.

"And will you" younger teens continued. "keep all our plans and plotting in complete secrecy until Harry Potter releases you from this duty?"

"I will"

Second stream of fire appeared.

"And will you not interfere with the plans we are making to help Harry Potter?"

"I will"

Third stream of fire appeared, after a few seconds the fire faded and Vow was done.
