After I started watching Downton Abbey again, I had to write a story. Everything that wasn t shown in season 4 and maybe after, between Anna und Mr. Bates. I doesn t always stick to the script. I don t own any of the characters.

The story of Mrs. Hughes and Mr. Carson if they had chosen from the start to be together in every way. This story starts in 1896 and follows this couple through the years. I do not own the rights to Downton Abbey.

We meet Cora when she is 31. She has moved to London, to get her writing career started. One day she hears beautiful piano music coming through her window which inspires her to write. Will she ever meet the one who plays that piano? Robert is 34 and works for his father's company, managing estates. He secretly plays the piano.

It's 1931, and life is being kind to the Bates family, but as they are the Bates family, we know things can't stay rosy for long. Can the love of their extended family and love of one another pull Anna and Bates through a grievous loss? (

(Very AU) Lilly woke up in the world of Downton Abby as the youngest Crawley sister. Twin to Sybil. Her presence now challenges everything she loved about the show. She must try to set things right while telling her heart no. Does she question if she will ever return to her reality in the year 2021 or remain at Downton for the rest of her life? Thomas is Bi in this story.
