Here's the next chapter. Hope you enjoy.

Guest (1) – Thanks so much. I'm so glad you like my really strange sense of humour.

Guest (2) – No problem, hope you enjoy the next chapter.

Gerden360 – Thanks. I genuinely couldn't find a way for Lewis to use his quirk due to how much was against him, but I thought it would be great for him to not be always dependent on it. Hope you enjoy the next chapter.

wellingtonlucas282 - Sem problemas, aproveite o próximo capítulo!

Djinn – I know right! This is exactly the type of thing Lewis wants to change about society. Thank you as always and I hope you like the new instalment.

Neo Infinity – Momo definitely needed some cheering up after that decisive loss. I'm not quite sure what her plan was since it was never explained in the manga, but I like to think that she didn't have one when she was going to the battle, but wanted to keep her reputation as a class rep.

RubixJr – Yeah, sorry about the grammar mistakes. I never like checking over what I written and as soon as I finish a chapter, I want it uploaded as soon as possible. Anyway, glad you are liking it. It will be the Hero Killer Arc soon and I can't wait to write that.

Lelouch of Zero – Thank you so much, I'm glad that you enjoyed the chapter. Lewis won't be holding back against Endeavour. Please enjoy

Corestor3rd – Hi, thank you so much for all your support. It has been fun writing it. Yeah, Mina was a tough opponent, but Fumikage and Bakugo are going to be much tougher. Everyone seems to be excited to see Lewis put Endeavour in his place and I hope I won't disappoint. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of your day as well.

Re Lovely Lover – Hello, I've been reading all your reviews and I'm happy to hear all the positivity. There is a lot to discuss and I'm sure you just want to read the chapter, so I just answer all your questions quickly.

1) How Kiniko passed the exams has never been revealed in either the manga or the anime so I'm not quite sure how she passed exactly.

2) The robots the students were fighting were designed as targets rather than actual fighting machines. Lewis was aiming for all the weak areas such as the neck or the legs. Also, he wore very sturdy boots with steel toes.

3) The reason why he needs to know where he is to activate his quirk is simply because you have know where you are to get anywhere. It's like traveling, if you are in a place you are familiar with (like the home you live in) you can work out how to go anywhere. However, if you had somehow got dropped in the middle of the Sahara Desert (assuming that you don't live in the middle of the Sahara Desert) you won't know which way to go in. The reason why Lewis was running his mouth is to antagonise his opponent into making mistakes.

4) I don't think complaining to his teachers would have helped. The sports festival was way too important for society and would have been shooed away.

5) I don't think Hagakure has had a lot of interaction with Lewis yet to have a reaction, however I will remedy this later.

6) Midoriya is more knowledgeable of quirks and how they work than any other person Lewis knows, so he would be the go to person. Plus, Momo was too busy in preparation for her battle so Lewis couldn't ask her.

Hope that answers everything.

Thank you all for reviewing :)

Chapter 15: Hot and Cold

Lewis and Endeavour stared at each other for a few seconds. Neither backing down nor saying anything. Lewis hummed angrily, thoughts and emotions starting to bubble inside him. However, Lewis kept his cool and stepped to the side to bypass the pro-hero.

He really didn't want any conflict between them.

"Excuse me," he stoically said as he tried to walk pass him.

However, Endeavour step in front of him, blocking his way once again. Lewis bit the inside of his mouth, trying to stop his irritation from showing.

"You're in the same class as Shoko, are you not?" Endeavour firmly questioned.

Lewis hummed again, "Yes, I a-"

"Look at me when you are talking to me, boy," Endeavour snapped fiercely, "and call me sir. Show some respect."

Lewis gripped his hands into fists tightly and looked up at his face with an indifferent expression, "Sorry, sir," he said through gritted teeth, "Yes, I am, sir. My name is Le-"

"I don't care," Endeavour interrupted dismissively, "You were one who dressed up as a cheerleader. Do you act like that in class as well?"

"No, you see my female classmates we-"

"U.A is a school for heroes, not for time-wasting clowns like you. To think they would accept a foreigner with such disrespect for hero education," Endeavour interrupted again, making Lewis suppress a growl, "It's a shame to call it my alma mater."

"If you let me explain-"

"Don't interrupt me, boy. It is no wonder Shoko is going through this rebellious phase with students like you being near her," Endeavour loomed over Lewis, trying to intimidate him, "Now you listen to me. Take your interfering buffoonery back to America and never distract Shoko ever again. Do you under-"

"Go fuck yourself," Lewis calmly said, glaring into Endeavour's eyes.

A stunned silence fell between the two, the only thing making a sound was the crackle of Endeavour's fire. Lewis continued to glare at the older man's shocked expression with a stern expression.

Usually when Lewis says or do something dangerous, he would be internally panicking. But not this time.

Lewis was absolutely sure of what he was doing.

Soon Endeavour recovered from his shock and snarled menacingly at Lewis, "What did you say to me?" he growled threateningly.

Lewis smirked, completely unfazed by him or his fire starting to rise slightly.

"Oh, I'm sorry. That came out wrong. Let me start again," he coughed to clear his throat before smirking at Endeavour once more, "Go fuck yourself, sir," he said mockingly.

The hero's fire burst in fury "You dare-"

"You know, I am a very nervous person," he said as his grin dropped into a deep frown, "there are like a thousand things that I find stress inducing but if there's one thing I'm not anxious of is abusive, cock sucking, bullies like you."

"You're making false accu-"

"Oh fuck off, I know what you've done. The child abuse, the quirk marriage, the fact that you pushed Shoko's mother to the brink of a mental breakdown. It's already bad enough you had to put that poor woman through 9 months of pregnancy multiple times, not including the 10 to 15 seconds of hellish intercourse you put her through. You're nothing but a shit stain on hero society, the type of fucker my uncle would lock up if he had a chance."

The flames were now licking the ceiling, the heat has become unbearable for Lewis. But there was no way he was backing down. Endeavour was beyond livid at this point. His eyes were bloodshot, his mouth was in a painful snarl, and his fingers were flexing as if he wanted to strangle Lewis.

"I'm warning you-" he threatened.

Lewis rolled his eyes, "Or what?" he asked, "Are you going to incinerate me? Are you going to arrest me for hurting your feelings? I don't work for you, so you can't fire me and you're not a part of U.A faculty so you can't expel me. Face it, Endeavour you can't do anything to me. You can't bully me and you don't scare me. So turn down the flames or I'll set an extinguisher on you."

They engaged in another stare down. Endeavour's rage filled glare vs Lewis' cold gaze. Eventually, Endeavour reluctantly lowered his flames, but his glare and snarl still remained.

Lewis smiled victoriously, "That's better. Now there are two things I'll like to clear up. First of all, I worked hard, trained hard, and earned my position at U.A. I've had so many people telling me how stupid my quirk is or how useless it is. I've had even more people tell me how immature and futile my ambition to make a society where everyone is happy, but I don't care about their comments. People like you will not stop me from being a hero. And will certainly be a better hero than you. Secondly, you stay away from Shoko. You say that I'm making her rebel against you. Well guess what Endeavour, she's not rebelling against you, she's just doesn't want to become you. And after this meeting I can see why. She's intelligent, strong, and will be a better hero that you'll ever be. So back off."

Lewis took the opportunity of Endeavour's silence and walked past him confidently. Endeavour didn't look back, but stared at the space he just left, too furious to act. Lewis was about turn a corner when he stopped and looked back at the pro-hero.

"Also, don't you ever call me American again, you piece of shit," Lewis finally said before turning the corner.

'Wow,' Lewis thought as he made his way to the infirmary, 'thank goodness that worked otherwise that would of been a stupid way to die. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I swore at somebody as well. I wonder if that was wise thing to do, though?' he asked himself, starting to worry of the consequences.

Suddenly a roar of rage and anguish, echoed down the hallway he just left. Lewis turned around and saw Endeavour's flames shoot from around the corner, leaving scorch marks on the walls.

Lewis blinked in surprise, shrugged indifferently and continued walking casually.

'Totally worth it.'

Infirmary

Lewis knocked on the door and opened it enough to poke his head around it.

"Ochako?" he called out seeing the brown haired girl sitting on of the beds.

Once she saw him enter, she snapped her head away, sniffed, and quickly rubbed her eyes. Lewis frowned sadly at the telltale signs that she had been crying a few moments earlier.

"Hey Fleetwood," she called out before turning to him with a bright false smile, "sorry, wasn't expecting you."

Lewis walked in and sat on the bed next to hers and gave her a kind smile, "Hi. I thought Midoriya was here."

"Oh, he was but he's fighting the next round so I told him that he should go and prepare," she explained.

"Right," Lewis nodded in understanding, "I was supposed to come earlier but I was...telling off the Number Two Hero Endeavour for being rude."

Ochako snorted and laughed loudly at what he said.

"Wow, Fleetwood," she gasped through giggles, "look at you. First of week of school you were a nervous wreck and now you're making jokes. I'm proud of you."

"Yeah...jokes," Lewis sheepishly said before he frowned, "I'm sorry that you lost, Ochako."

Ochako smiled solemnly and shrugged, "Hey, there's nothing I can do now," she casually told him, "better luck next time, I guess."

She chuckled slightly as she rubbed the back of head, trying to hide her feelings from Lewis. However, she stopped once she saw the unconvinced expression on his face. She sighed and looked down at the ground.

"I…talked to my parents earlier and…well…they said that I made them proud and that I did so well…but…I."

"You don't feel like you did well," Lewis guessed, earning a nod from Ochako.

"It's…just...frustrating. On one hand, I'm angry at them for not seeing that I should have done better, but on the other, I shouldn't be angry at them because I know that it doesn't matter. And then I'm angry at myself that I feel angry at them and…" Ochako sighed, "I just don't know how to feel."

Lewis hesitated slightly. He was not quite sure what to say to her.

"Well…" Lewis started trying to think of the right words, "I think you're making a problem out of nothing. You don't want to be angry at your parents so don't. You know that what position your in doesn't matter so don't get hung up on it. The only thing holding you back is yourself, so what I recommend is for you to do something to keep your mind off it. Enjoy the Sports Festival, chat with our classmates. Would you like me to buy you some popcorn?"

"…maybe," Ochako mumbled, trying to not look excited about free food.

Lewis chuckled slightly, "There's always another chance Ochako. You just need to keep going."

Ochako looked up, considering his words before smiling confidently, "You're right Fleetwood. If Deku can do it then so can I," she declared happily, "thank you, Fleetwood."

'Midoriya is her go-to person for inspiration, huh," Lewis thought, "also when did I become everyone's psychologist?'

"Although," Ochako suddenly said, her expression turning serious, "I was wondering if I can ask you something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Well…Bakugo called me something during the match and…I want to know if it's true."

'Called her something?' Lewis thought angrily, 'he better not have called her what I think he called her. Whatever it is, I'm just going to completely deny that is true.'

"Fleetwood…" Ochako took a deep breath, "do I have a round face?"

….

….

….

….

"Err…"

Shoko Todoroki remembers the times she spent with her mother. It wasn't as often as she would have liked due to her father's austere training, but those time when it was just her and her mother were precious. The things that did weren't significant in the least. Watching tv, walks around their complex's gardens, eating soba her mother made for her. But they were the times where she had been truly happy.

Then her mother had her breakdown and she was admitted to hospital. And she was left alone.

She had her older siblings to keep her company. Her sister Fuyumi and her brother Natsu. She couldn't say they were very close, but they were on friendly terms. But once Fuyumi was busy being a teacher at an elementary school and Natsu went to university, she was left alone. Again.

Todoroki sighed and leaned against the side of the entrance tunnel, ready for the Midnight to announce her next match. She had no idea why she thought of her mother or her siblings after so long. She had thrown herself into training, determined to become a hero without using her father's quirk. She convinced herself that she had no time for other people. Her one purpose is to become the best.

And it was all ruined by him.

Lewis has been the first person to talk to her in a long time. Everything about him annoyed her. His timidness, his messy hair, him constantly reminding everyone that he's from England. The worst thing was that he had no ulterior motive to his attempts to talk to her. He just wanted to know if she was alright. It was enough to make her feel sick inside.

She thought she would feel better if she pushed him away, but the sickly feeling only turned into a sharp pain. Now he has stopped trying to talk or have any interaction with her. Not even a single hello.

And once again she was alone.

But this time, she couldn't blame her father.

"Make some noise listeners, because now we're onto round two!" the voice of Present Mic snapped Todoroki out of her thoughts and turn towards the pitch, "Let's meet our next battlers!"

Todoroki sighed as he heard her cue. She stepped out onto the grounds and walked directly to the battle pitch. She glanced up at the 1A seats and hummed when she couldn't spot Lewis among her classmates. She tore her eyes away and ignored the pain building inside her.

'This is what I wanted,' she told herself, 'no more distractions.'

Despite what her mind said, she couldn't help but glance up at the seats one more. Just to see if he was really not there. She sighed when she couldn't spot him again and decided to not look up again.

The ache grew stronger once again.

Class 1A Seats

Unknown to Todoroki, Lewis just walked into the seats as soon as she looked away the second time. He was carrying the largest (and most expensive) bucket of popcorn available and sat in front of Ochako.

"Here you go," Lewis sighed as he sat down beside her.

"Wow. All of this popcorn for me, the round face," Ochako said in plain tone as she raised an annoyed eyebrow at Lewis.

He couldn't lie to her. It was an uncomfortable seven minutes.

"Please Ochako," Lewis begged, "it's round in a cute way not because you're fa-" Lewis instantly stopped what he was going to say and decided to do some more begging, "would you like anything else?"

"I'm fine for now," she said dismissively, making Lewis hang his head in shame.

Hagakure, who was sitting next to her, leaned over and whispered, "How long are you going to keep on pretending?"

Ochako tried her best to hold her laughter, "As soon he realises I'm not actually angry at him," she replied, making them both giggle.

"Ochako," Momo sternly warned from the seat behind them.

The brown haired girl flinched, turned around and gave her a sheepish expression, "It's only a jok-" she stopped when Momo gave her a scathing glare.

Ochako gulped, turned back around, and placed the popcorn tub between her and Lewis, "Why don't we share," she suggested with an apologetic smile.

Lewis thanked her and turned to the grounds with a nervous look. He could see Todoroki facing off against Midoriya. Both of their faces filled with determination to win.

"It's the first batch of the second round!" Present Mic announced, "These two heroes in training have both been winners in the Sports Festival. IT'S MIDORYIA!" the green haired boy gave a calm nod when his name was called, "VS TODOROKI!" Todoroki barely reacted. She just kept on thinking of strategies to defeat her opponent.

Lewis sighed in worry for his two classmates, 'Todoroki please be careful,' he begged, 'and Midoriya…for God's sake, please just don't break yourself. You have become a strain on Recovery Girl and on my mental health.'

"BEGIN!" Present Mic declared, starting the match between the two students.

Five Minutes Later

'So, neither of my prayers were granted," Lewis mentally groaned as soon as the match was over.

It had been the most destructive match in U.A Sports Festival history. Todoroki sent out waves of ice at Midoriya to try and trap him, but he would shatter them with a flick of his finger causing it to break. Todoroki attempted freezing him again, but Midoriya flicked it away once more. Soon the entirety of Midoriya's left arm was broken, but Todoroki still looked she could still fight.

That is when Lewis noticed something about her. Her right half (or the cold side) was starting to freeze over which could be a possible side effect of overusing her cryokinesis. The only way Lewis can think of to remedy this weakness was to use her left half (or the hot side) to balance her temperature. However, since she wasn't using her pyrokinesis, it was only a matter of time before she succumbed to her weakness.

But still Midoriya fought on against her attacks until Todoroki couldn't move as fast as before. Midoriya got the upper hand over her and managed to get some hits on her before telling her something that was too far away for Lewis to hear.

Something about it being her own quirk and not her father's

That's when something spectacular happened. Lewis gasped when he saw Todoroki use her pyrokinesis for the first time. Years of suppressing it had made her fire give off an impressive display that the world has never seen before. Becoming more powerful, Todoroki and Midoriya collided each other. One For All vs Hot/Cold. The explosion of power was enormous, the spectators had to cover their faces to shelter from the amount of force rocketing in all directions. Soon the dust died down and everybody gasped as they saw the winner.

Todoroki, despite parts of her clothes being destroyed, was standing strong. Exhausted, but strong. Midoriya, however, was unconscious and knocked out of the pitch, making Todoroki the winner.

Everyone seemed spellbound for a couple of seconds before the cheering started again. Lewis had no idea how to feel about this. He was saddened that Midoriya lost, but he was glad that Todoroki was using her right side. He saw said girl walking towards the exit tunnel while the green haired boy was taken away by a stretcher, leaving behind an obliterated pitch.

"Fleetwood," Ochako called out, catching Lewis' attention, "we're going to see Midoriya," she told him as she stood next to Iida, Asui and Mineta.

"R-right," he called back.

He briefly glanced at the tunnel Todoroki entered before following the group.

(A.N: Sorry for the rather brief explanation of the match. I figured that we've all seen the episode.)

Exit Tunnel

Todoroki glared up at the last person she wanted to see right now. Endeavour smirked proudly as he waited for her to arrive. He told her that he was proud that she stopped her rebellion against him and ask to restart their training again.

"...after you graduate, you'll work alongside me and I'll lead you down the path of the mighty, Shoko," Endeavour proclaimed, confident that she will take his offer

Unfortunately, for him, Todoroki gave him a cold look, "I have not abandoned anything," she told him, much to his surprise, "you're a fool to think my feelings could change so easily. Instead, out there, for that moment I forgot about you," Endeavour angrily gritted his teeth as Todoroki walked calmly pass him, "whether that's good, I don't know. Maybe I don't need you."

She was about to continue walking when Endeavour called out to her over his shoulder.

"It was that boy, wasn't it?" Endeavour said, making Todoroki stop, "he's the one that's keeping you back."

Todoroki scowled, "Midoriya has nothing to with it," she informed.

"Not him," Endeavour growled, "the one who dared insult me to my face and threaten me."

'...Bakugo?' Todoroki mentally questioned, since nobody else in her class would have the guts to that.

"Don't let that foreigner tell you want to do," Todoroki eyes widened in realisation, "he and his western ways have no place at U-"

"Don't you dare talk to him," Todoroki snapped, surprising her father and making him turn to her. He raised his eyebrows when she saw rage in her eyes glaring back at him, "he has nothing to do with my decision. Stay away from him," she demanded before turning around and walking away, leaving behind a stunned Endeavour.

Hallways

Lewis sighed as he made his way towards the grounds in preparation for his next match. He sighed for two different reasons. The first was that he and the others were shooed out of the infirmary by Recovery Girl as soon as they entered. Recovery Girl reassured them that Midoriya was fine, although he needed more time to recover after breaking his entire body. Again.

The second reason was his upcoming fight. He may have an idea fight against (or rather how to not be tossed around like a rag doll by his quirk) but it was risky.

"Fleetwood," somebody called out, making him turn around.

Tsunotori jogged (trotted?) over to him with an excited smile, "Hello...how...you...okay?" she asked in broken Japanese.

"We can speak in English, if you want to," Lewis told her with an amused smile, causing Tsunotori to blush in realisation.

"Darn, sorry I forgot. I meant to ask if you alright?" she repeated herself, "it look like something was on your mind."

"Yeah," Lewis said as the two started to walk together, "just thinking about my battle. I'm sorry to hear that Shiozaki was defeated."

"She was a little disappointed, but she doesn't seem to mind," Tsunotori said with a shrug, "it looks like all y'all in the final, no doubt Monoma will pitch a hissy fit," she sighed with a roll of her eyes.

"I'm guessing you're not fond of him," Lewis observed.

"Who is? Although he seems to pick on me especially."

"What really?"

"Sure does," Tsunotori said, "he knows I can't speak Japanese well and he makes me say weird things. And like a fool, I fall for his tricks every time. It's so embarrassing."

"Hey, Japanese is hard language," Lewis encouraged.

Tsunotori raised an eyebrow, "How long have you speaking it?"

"...about five months now," he replied hesitantly, making Tsunotori sigh in despair.

"And you're fluent as well," she complained, stopping suddenly "it's so annoying. I never be able to say something smart or contribute to the class because of that darn language barrier."

Lewis waited while Tsunotori calmed down from her small rant. She let lose a deep breath before giving him an apologetic smile.

"Sorry, didn't meant to unload my problems onto you," she sheepishly said.

Lewis smiled reassuringly, "It's fine, I completely understand. Why don't you get a tutor to help you learn."

Tsunotori eyes widened excitedly, "Of course, you can be my tutor," she declared, much to Lewis surprise.

"Me? I...I...meant like one of your classmates or a teacher," Lewis tried to excuse, before squeaking in shock as Tsunotori took his hands and looked up at him pleadingly. She had to crane her head way back since he was much taller than her.

"Please, It would be a great help. It would be hard to find who can confidently speak English and Japanese," she pleaded.

Lewis gulped as her big blue eyes stared up at him. He could even see her small tail wagging in anticipation.

'That's so unfair,' Lewis mentally complained.

"A-alright I-" he stopped with a yelp as Tsunotori hugged him around the waist, her large horns almost scratching his neck.

"Thanks so much," she cried before letting go and jumped up and down excitedly.

Lewis blushed by how adorable she was being and sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "No problem, Tsunotori."

"Call me Pony," she told him as she stopped jumping, "we don't need to call each other by our family names."

"R-right, call me Lewis then," he told her.

Pony smiled brightly before realising something, "Lewis, don't you have a match to get to?"

Lewis jolted in remembrance, "Damn it," he muttered before turning and running to where he's supposed to be, "see you later, Pony," he called out over his shoulder.

"Good luck," Pony called back happily as she watched him turn a corner, "he's so cute. No wonder Komori likes him," she told herself before walking back to her seats.

The Pitch

"Let's move onto the next match!" Present Mic announced, "both from the hero course, on one side it's the imposing Tokoyami Fumikage!" the bird-headed boy simply nodded, "Vs our spectacled teleporter Lewis Fleetwood!"

Lewis was relieved that he made it on time after his talk with Pony. He couldn't help but smile slightly as he heard the crowds cheering him on. Although the proud smile dropped as soon as some people started to chant 'Cheer-wood'.

Lewis didn't know if they were making fun of him or actually supporting him. Either way it was not good for him.

"Fleetwood," Fumikage called out from the other side of the pitch, "I wish you luck for our battle."

Lewis smiled kindly in reply, "Thanks, you too. We haven't spoken in a while. How's Dark Shadow?"

Suddenly, the shadow bird shot out from his stomach and gave Lewis a happy wave, "Hey, Lewis!" he cried, much to Fumikage's annoyance.

"Dark Shadow cease your childish behaviour. We are about to fight," Fumikage growled, "and don't call him by his given name."

"But we're his friend," Dark Shadow whined, "I don't want to fight him."

'I did not know it was sentient,' Lewis thought with a sweatdrop,"It's alright, Dark Shadow," Lewis called out, "I don't want to fight you either. But after this match we don't have to fight again, I promise."

Dark Shadow nodded his head enthusiastically, "You got it, Lewis!" he shouted, making Lewis chuckle.

Fumikage sighed in despair, "Why do you listen to him and not me," he moaned.

"BEGIN!" Present Mic announced, starting their match.

Lewis barely had time to think before Fumikage ordered Dark Shadow to push Lewis out of bounds. The shadow bird shot straight for him and tried to swipe Lewis with its claws. Luckily, he was able duck and roll under Dark Shadow, avoiding the attack. However, Dark Shadow was quick and instantly turned on him again.

Lewis ducked, dodged, and flipped over Dark Shadows attacks. At one point he had almost fell over the edge of the pitch but managed to find his footing at the last moment.

'There's no point in attacking Dark Shadow since it won't have little effect on Fumikage," Lewis analysed as ducked under another swipe, 'that means I have to attack Fumikage directly, but I can't get in close enough. I would have to find Dark Shadow's weak spot and use it against him. I think I know where it is but it's risky.'

After making sure he was as far away from Fumikage as possible, Lewis kneeled down before Dark Shadow who loomed over him, raising a claw above its head before sending it down to knock him out the pitch.

Lewis had to time this perfectly. He waited for the claw to be at the right height and leaped forwards onto the outstretch claw. Dark Shadow's eyes widened in surprise as Lewis used its claw as a springboard and flipped over its head and landed on its back. Fumikage was shocked to see Lewis running along Dark Shadow towards him and raised his arm to defend himself. He knew it wouldn't do anything since he wasn't particularly strong in hand to hand combat. He mainly relied on Dark Shadow to do the fighting.

"YO! Fleetwood is using Fumikage's quirk against him!" Present Mic declared excitedly, "Is this the end for Fumikage!?"

Lewis concentrated on losing his balance. Running on Dark Shadow was harder than it looked and was a lot shakier than a beam or a rope. Lewis saw Fumikage was up ahead with his arm raised in front of his beak, trying to protect himself.

'Just one strong kick and I'll knock him out of bounds,' he told himself as he prepared to attack Fumikage.

However, as soon as he almost reached him, Lewis was thrown off by a powerful hit. He sailed through the air and landed painfully onto the pitch. He almost rolled off the side, but he managed to hold on before his foot went out of bounds.

"A powerful attack from Dark Shadow has knocked Fleetwood, almost out of the competition!" Present Mic announced as Lewis sat up and rubbed his aching shoulder.

He looked up and saw Fumikage and Dark Shadow together again. Lewis groaned when he realised that Dark Shadow had recovered from its shock caught up with him.

"I am sorry, Fleetwood" Fumikage called out, "you are a great warrior and you have gained my respect. However, you are no match for us so surrender to the darkness."

"That's right," Dark Shadow piped up, "we're serious now. We're not playing anymore games."

'Games,' Lewis wondered before having an idea.

Lewis stood to his feet and gave a Fumikage and Dark Shadow and confidently, "Are you sure you don't want to play one more game, Dark Shadow?"

Dark Shadow nodded happily, "Games. I love games!" he cried.

"Didn't you just say-" but before Fumikage can call Dark Shadow out on what he said, Lewis interrupted him.

"I bet you can't catch me," Lewis declared proudly, earning a determined look from the shadow bird.

"I bet I can!" he cried before shooting towards Lewis.

"Dark Shadow don't be hasty!" Fumikage shouted, but it wasn't listening to him

Lewis was once again dodging and flipping once again, but instead of being knocked out of the pitch, Dark Shadow was trying to catch him in his claws. Soon the shadow corned Lewis, raising both claws in preparation. Lewis kneeled down, ready to carry out his plan.

"I've got ya!" Dark Shadow declared.

That was when Fumikage realised what Lewis was planning, his eyes widened in shock, "Dark Shadow stop!" he shouted, but it was too late.

Dark shadow slammed both of his claws over Lewis completely concealing him from view. While the audience was staring in astonishment at Dark Shadow's enclosed hands, Fumikage was punched in the stomach. He gasped in pain and in shock and staggered backwards and felt a kick to the back of his knees. Fumikage fell on his back over the pitch edge, groaning in pain.

Everybody heard Fumikage's grunt of pain and turned towards him. They were astonished to find Lewis standing to his feet over his fallen fighter. Dark Shadow was the most surprised, it looked back at its master and then down at its claws. It lifted them and shouted in shock as it saw that Lewis was gone.

"Fumikage is out of bounds," Midnight proclaimed, cracker her whip, "Fleetwood is the winner."

The audience roared once again as Lewis helped Fumikage to his feet, Dark Shadow sheepishly made his way towards them.

"Sorry master, I got distracted," Dark Shadow guiltily apologised.

Fumikage sighed, "It is not your fault, Dark Shadow. I should have been more in control," he said, making the shadow perk up a little, "besides this a lesson of where my weaknesses lay. I need to be more knowledgeable in hand to hand contact."

"I can show you some pointers, if you like," Lewis offered kindly, earning a nod from the bird-headed teen.

"I thank thee, Fleetwood. For not only being a worth opponent, but by being an ally of the void," Fumikage calmly told him.

"He means he's glad that you're his friend," Dark Shadow translated, "And so am I."

Fumikage's plumage ruffled in embarrassment, "Be quiet Dark Shadow!" he cried, earning a chuckle from Lewis.

It had been some time since Lewis' and Fumikage's match. Midoriya had returned when he got back to the seats and congratulated him on his victory. Lewis noticed his bandaged hands, but decided not to comment. The next match they watched was Bakugo and Kirishima. The red headed teen was, unfortunate, no match to Bakugo's constant bombardment and was soon defeated. Which meant Lewis would be fighting him in the next round.

'Terrific,' Lewis thought miserably.

The third round had begun and it was a match between Iida and Todoroki. He wished Iida good luck before he left and gave Todoroki a brief smile before turning away. He didn't want to upset her considering what happened between them...and there may be a chance she knew that she insulted her father. Well...insulted is putting it lightly.

Right now Lewis was heading down for his next match whilst thinking of how to deal with Bakugo. However, he stopped when he saw Hagakure approaching a vendor selling bottled drinks from a tray.

"Hi, can I get-" she started before the vendor passed her, completely missing the floating P.E kit, "Hey!" she complained.

The vendor heard the shout and looked around for where it came from. Seeing nobody around, he shrugged and moved on much to Hagakure's annoyance. Lewis saw this and approached Hagakure.

"Don't worry, I've got this," he confidently told her before jogging up to the vendor, "Hello-," but the vendor didn't see him either and walked passed him to a group a people.

Lewis froze in shock before falling to his knees in despair, "How did he not see me?" he uttered questioningly as Hagakure came over and patted his back comfortingly.

"It happens," she reassured, as Lewis hung his head gloomily, "I'll just get one from the vending machine. Do you want something, sweetie?"

"I'm fine, thank you," he told her as he stood to his feet, "Does this happen a lot to you?" he asked, earning a shrug from the invisible girl.

"Yeah, but I'm used to it. My parents have the same problem," she explained casually.

'So her parents are invisible as well,' Lewis wondered, "well, if you have any more problems than you can rely on...well maybe not me, but on someone with a bit more...presence," he told her, making Hagakure giggle.

She was about to say something else when she heard rapid footsteps coming down the hallway. They turned to see Iida run with his phone in his hand. He seem to be in distressed, with a large worried frown on his face and tears staring to form in the corners of his eyes.

"Iida what's wrong?" Hagakure asked in concern, as Iida slowed down to pass them.

"I have to go," he firmly told them as he continued to jog down the hallway, "tell Mr Aizawa I'm leaving. Fleetwood, I put you and Yaoyoruzu in charge of the students," he called out from over his shoulder.

"Iida, what's wrong!?" Lewis shouted after him, but he didn't stop, "Iida!" he shouted again.

However, Iida had rounded a corner and was out of sight. The two stared at the direction he went for a couple of seconds before Hagakure turned to Lewis.

"What should we do?" she worriedly asked.

Lewis thought for a couple of seconds before responding to Hagakure, "Don't worry for now...err...I'll call Aizawa. I best be getting to my match anyway. See you later, Hagakure," Lewis hurriedly told her before jogging to his next match.

"Oh okay," Hagakure unsurely said, "good luck," she said as she watched him jog away.

Lewis flicked hand and made his phone appear. He went to his contacts and found the number Aizawa gave him, Momo and Iida for emergencies. He tapped on the call icon and held the phone to his hand as he continued to jog to where he should be. The dial tone sounded twice before Aizawa picked it up.

"This better be an emergency," Aizawa sighed over the phone.

Lewis frowned, "What makes you think this isn't one?"

"The last 'emergency' call I got was from Present Mic telling me that there was a spider in his apartment," Aizawa gravely informed. Lewis pictured him glaring at his co-host in annoyance.

"Hey that was an emergency! That spider was crawling all over my records!" Present Mic argued, accidently saying it through the speakers.

"If you're going to say something, make sure your mic isn't on, you idiot," Aizawa growled.

"Whoops!" Present Mic said, once again, through the speakers, "sorry listeners!" he apologised before turning of his microphone.

Aizawa sighed in irritation, "What is it, Fleetwood?"

"Iida has just left," Lewis informed, "he just passed by saying he needed to leave."

"Did he say why?" Aizawa questioned, seeing that situation was serious.

"No, he just told me to tell you. Should I have stop him?"

Aizawa hummed, "No, we get some of the faculty to find out what's going. You just get to your mat- Hey!"

Lewis heard Aizawa shout before having to pull away the phone from his ear as Present Mic shouted down the phone, "Good luck, Fleetwood! We both rootin' for ya!" he said in English before he gasped in pain.

Lewis heard some rustling on the other end of the line before he heard Aizawa speak again, "Don't steal my phone and what did I say about being bias," Aizawa scolded his co-host.

"But I said it in English," Present Mic argued.

"That's not the point," Aizawa shot back before ending the call abruptly.

Lewis stared at the mobile for a few seconds, sweat dropping at the two's antics. He made his phone disappear when he saw the end of the exit tunnel and the grounds. Lewis took a deep breath and waited for Present Mic to announce the next match. He didn't have to wait long and stepped out of the tunnel for what felt like the hundredth time today.

As he walked to the pitch, he began to think about battle with Bakugo.

'It's...going to be very, very...very difficult,' Lewis thought in dread, 'Again the environment is against me and I'm pretty sure I can't dodge an explosion. Perhaps, I can use my quirk when his explosions kick up enough smoke and dust. Although, I feel like he has a way to counter that.'

He stepped onto the pitch and looked up to see a glowering Bakugo glaring back at him.

'And he's angry...I'm so dead,' Lewis mentally sighed.

"Our semi-finalists are Lewis Fleetwood!" Present Mic announced as Lewis shyly wave to the crowd, "vs Bakugo Katsuki!"

Bakugo growled in determination, "I've been waiting to do this for ages," he called out threateningly as he made small sparks in hands.

"You know you would be more likeable as a character if you weren't so incredibly petty," Lewis called back, earning a snarl from the blond teen.

"What was that!?" Bakugo shouted angrily.

"Really? You got upset over being called petty," Lewis said, rolling his eyes, "that's like the least worst thing about you."

"You going to regret saying that to me, gaijin!" Bakugo threatened.

"The racist name calling," Lewis sighed, "that has to be the worst thing about you."

"Alright listeners!" Present Mic announced, "LET'S BEGIN!"

And end scene.

Right first of all sorry about all the swearing. I don't usually swear in real life so I felt a little uncomfortable writing it. I hope Lewis rant at Endeavour was alright, I know a lot of you were looking forward to it.

Secondly, I feel like Fumikage hasn't have much hand to hand combat so Lewis took advantage of that.

Finally, I wish I could have written more dialogue between Lewis and Hagakure. I just couldn't think else. Also, Hagakure's parents haven't been revealed in the manga so I based them of the spin-off 'My Hero Academia Smash!'. Whether it's canonical is unknown.

Anyway, thanks for reading and I'll see you next time.
