Here's the next chapter, hope you'll enjoy it.

wellingtonlucas282 - No problem, I'm glad that you liked it. Things will be a lot harder for him, but he will endure it.

djinn - Thanks so much. Yeah, that chapter was basically a commentary on fandoms and the problem it causes, especially the MHA fandom. There's nothing wrong with being passionate about a show, but it does get out of hand. This isn't helped by worldwide access to the internet where everybody can write anything they want and think there won't be repercussions. Anyway, this chapter will centre the aftermath of work study and the Stain video, so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Neo Infinity - No problem, I glad that you enjoyed it. I never been to an expo before so I had to look it up on the internet. I thought it was a great idea to hint at my next story in this one, so I'm glad you thought it was interesting. The Stain misunderstanding will be a major part for the rest of the story. Thanks for reading.

Xavier Arias Gonsalves - Yeah, he's fine. There's like twenty four chapters. Thanks for reading anyway.

Guest - Yeah, I don't know if it was wise to mix up to two popular fandoms together, but ah well. If you would like to know who Timere is then I recommend reading my new story 'Legend of Timere'. There's only one chapter for now, but I hope you'll read it. The researcher was fun to write, maybe I should write her in again. Thanks.

greenarrow679 - Thanks so much, I really need to include Kodai more in this story. That's a good analysis on Fleetwood's character. He always takes the most challenging path, but in the end he forgives those who wronged him. One of the reasons I made him such a timid and anxious character is so I can contrast it with his strong beliefs and determination for everybody to have a better life. However, in the words of Lemony Snicket 'In a world too often governed by corruption and arrogance, it can be difficult to stay true to one's philosophical and literary principles'. It will be hard for Lewis, obviously, but if you always do things because they are easy then you might as well not do them at all. I hope you will continue reading, thanks so much.

Guest - Yes, I am. The first chapter is up already so I hope you'll enjoy it.

Lelouch of Zero -Thanks so much. I've been wanting to do a Komori chapter for a while now. Her canonical profile is...not great, to be honest, but I guess that since she wants to a hero idol, she would be interested in manga and anime. Personally, I never been to an expo before (well, I've been to a house pet convention once, but that doesn't really count) so I'm happy to hear that you can relate to the experiences. Yeah, I almost feel bad for Lewis. But I know he can overcome it, as long as he stays true to his principles. Thanks for reading and I hope you'll enjoy the next chapter.

Idknows - Thanks so much! I can't believe it's been an entire year. Thank you for reading.

Thanks for reviewing :)

Chapter 24: Back To School

Nighteye Agency

It was Lewis' last day of his work study and while he was saddened that it was all over, he's was also kind of relieved. The past week had been very stressful with Stain, the training, and now the video.

Not long after he watched it, he immediately called Aizawa. Lewis was honestly expecting him to mutter miserably about him causing more trouble, but his teacher took it very seriously. He reassured him the police did know about it from the statement he gave them after the Hosu incident, but this video was definitely going to cause problems. Aizawa told him that he would contact Nezu and the police as soon as possible. Those who don't know personally don't know it was actually him therefore it was unlikely that anybody was going to hound him down so he told him to not worry about it now and some rest.

Currently, Lewis was going to have one last interview with Nighteye, going over how he had performed during the work study. He will then receive a report that he was needed to give to his home room teacher. He had only just took one step into the building when suddenly Bubble Girl jumped in front of him, making him jump in fright.

"BANG!" she shouted, "Well done completing your work study kid!"

Lewis clutched his heart, steadied his breath and gave her a weary smile, "Thank you Bubble Girl," he said, "But did you have to shout bang like that?"

"I wanted to use a party popper, but somebody told me I wasn't allowed to," she said, giving a soft glare to Centipeder, who made his way over to them.

"They're just not suitable for a work environment. Plus, I knew I would be the one who was going to clean it up," Centipeder told her, "However, congratulations master Fleetwood. We really appreciate your work here."

"It was an honour to work here. I really leaned a lot."

Bubble Girl chuckled, "No problem, maybe you can work here on your next work study or something," she suggested before she frowned seriously, "Have you heard back from your school about the video?"

"Oh," Centipeder uttered, giving Lewis a sympathetic look, "I heard about it too. I'm terribly sorry."

Lewis hummed, "It's fine...sort of. And no, U.A hasn't said anything. However, my homeroom teacher, told me that they were doing everything they can."

"That's better than nothing, I guess. Well, if you need any back up, you can contact us, alright?" Bubble Girl told him with a thumbs up, "Sir's in his office right now. I would wish you luck talking to him, but I think you can handle it."

Lewis smiled in amusement before climbing the stairs to Nighteye's office. When he reached the floor, however, he heard shouting coming from Nighteye's office.

"Are you kidding me, Toshinori!" his yells echoing down the hallway, "You decided to give your power to a quirkless high school student! Why didn't you tell me before!"

Lewis' eyes widened as he slowly walked towards his door.

"Of course, I would have been angry! Giving One For All to an untrained child is the height of irresponsibility!...Trust!? Your asking me to trust this decision!?...I have to go, Toshinori. I really hope you know what you are doing. You given to much responsibility to somebody who had nothing to do with anything."

Lewis heard the sound of a phone being slammed down, followed by an annoyed sigh. He wondered if he should come back in five minuets, but the pro hero called through the door at him.

"Fleetwood, you can come in now."

He gulped at the stern voice and pushed the door open to see Nighteye sitting at his desk.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to-" Lewis tried to say, but Nighteye held up his hand to stop him.

"It's fine. I tried contacted him as you recommended, but it seems we weren't ready to talk to one another again," he sighed.

Lewis cringed on the inside, now thinking that it wasn't a good idea letting them talk. They clearly had a lot to work out first. Nighteye pushed up his glasses and gestured to the seat before his desk, offering him to sit down to start their meeting.

"Well, Fleetwood," he began, "I have to say that you have had an interesting work study. You had more experience in a single week than a rookie hero would have in an entire year. You remember our agreement. I will teach you how to improve your quirk while you assist me on a case. Do you feel that we met that agreement?"

He nodded his head, "I believe so. The fading technique is going to be great for the future."

"Good, I believe so too. And how, overall, did you think your work study went? I require three positives factors and three negatives factors and please be honest."

"Um," Lewis hummed, trying to think of an answer, "I suppose my three positives is that I got to have first hand experience at hero work, I leaned a few new skills and...I was able to help a few people," he said with a small smile, "It's not much, but it means a lot to me."

Nighteye nodded stiffly, "And the negative factors?"

"I...put myself in danger...multiple times," he admitted sadly, "I make people worried and...despite the progress I made, I still have a long way to go."

The hero hummed, "A fair assessment. You know what you need to do, that's the important part. Work, improve, overcome. You are more then capable, Fleetwood."

"Did you think of the same factors that I said?"

"My opinions on the matter will be discussed by you and your homeroom teacher, I will not reveal anything," he answered stoically, "Final question. Have you discovered why you are not able to disappear unless nobody is looking at you?"

This threw Lewis for a loop. Since Nighteye had told him that his quirk relies heavily on his Frontal Lobe, he had been doing some digging in that area. Reading scientific papers, looking through medical journals, watching videos on YouTube. Overall, he think he may have found a theory.

"Well...I did find something, but the research it's based on is debatable and some things are still a mystery but umm...there's a phenomenon known as the Psychic Staring Effect where humans can detect being stared at by another person even if they are facing away from them. People claim that they can feel someone's gaze and some experts say that it was an evolutionary development that some animals used to detect predators. The point is, that if the theory is true, then maybe the reason I can't disappear is because of the Psychic Staring Effect. If my Frontal Lobe is too focused on processing the effect, it won't be able to make sure I completely vanish, which we already established that I need total concentration to take effect. I mean it could be completely wrong, but it does make sense. Sorry, does that make sense?"

"Indeed and believe it's a step in the right direction," Nighteye told him, "But you will learn more about it as you continue your studies," he reached into his desk drawer, pulled out a brown sealed file and gave it to Lewis, "This is your report. I'm sure it will be helpful," he smiled gracefully at him, "Thank you for choosing your work study at my agency. You have been a great help."

Lewis blinked in surprise before he smiled as well. He tucked the file under his arm, "And thank you for accepting me. I hope you don't mind, but I got you a gift to say thank you."

The hero raised an eyebrow, "You really didn't need to."

"But I wanted to," he said.

He made his hat appear with a flick of his wrist and reach into it. From the hat, he pulled out a medium sized potted cactus which he placed on his desk. Nighteye looked down at the plant curiously.

"A cactus?"

"A Rebutia Fiebrigii or a Crown Cactus. It blooms red flowers that should brighten up this room. It doesn't need much sunlight or water so it's perfect for your office. Oh, I almost forgot," he said before making a blue spray bottle appear from the hat, "You just need to spray it once a day. If you don't like it then I can-"

"No, no," Nighteye said, pulling the cactus towards him and inspected it's spines with his finger, "I was never one for house plants, but I suppose I can look after this one. Although, I can't guarantee that it would survive for long than a month."

"Well, if that happens, then you have to live with the fact that you're less nourishing then a desert."

"Fair enough," Nighteye said with a chuckle.

U.A Staff Meeting Room

Meanwhile, Nezu had called an emergency staff meeting. Almost all the teachers that teach the first years had gathered around the meeting table with the principal at the head of the table. Nezu looked at the empty seat between Vlad King and Midnight curiously before turning to the rest of the faculty.

"Does anybody know if All Might is on his way?" he asked.

But before anybody could answer, the door opened and Toshinori stepped inside, wearing a suit that seemed to big for his skinny body.

"Sorry, I'm late," he said sitting in his seat, "I had to take a call."

"That's quite fine. You're here now," Nezu squeaked before his furry face turned serious, "I gathered everybody today, because Mr Aizawa has informed me of something very worrying. I'm sure you have heard or seen about the Stain video by now and one of our students' involvement."

"That boy can't catch a break," Vlad sighed, "First the interview and now he's involved in some conspiracy theory. Must be stressful being his homeroom teacher, eh Aizawa?"

"You have no idea," Aizawa grumbled.

Present Mic leaned in slightly, "But isn't it only just a conspiracy theory. Who cares about some whack job on the internet."

"I'm afraid a lot of people do," Nezu mused with a nod, "I have contacted the chief of police and, in the eyes of the law, Fleetwood is innocent, but the public are an entirely different problem. These days, people are less concerned about what is true or not and prefer to believe in their own perspective. If news breaks out that Fleetwood was involved in some sort of conspiracy then imagine what harm it was cause for his personal life, his time here at U.A, and even his future hero career. If we don't do anything then the press would spin so many tales that Fleetwood would be treated more as a hated pariah than a human being."

"Grrr, absolutely disgusting. Those damn journalist thinking they can do whatever they want," Hound Dog growled, earning a comforting pat on the back from Vlad.

"Then what should we do?" Thirteen asked worriedly, "We can't let that happen to one of our students."

Nezu hummed, "I don't doubt that somebody will eventually discover that it was Fleetwood, therefore we will need to send out a statement explaining Fleetwood's actions, but, of course, make sure he stays anonymous. The police have kindly agreed to back up our claims."

"But wouldn't that make it look like we covering it up?" Midnight added, "We might cause even more suspicion."

"However, it would look even more suspicious if we deny any of the claims," Cementoss responded.

Ectoplasm, a tall, menacing-looking teacher with sharp blank eyes and a lipless mouth showing a row of white teeth who wore a brown trench coat over a black body suit and had two wooden legs, leaned forward in his chair, "Let us not forget, that when the press do discover him, Fleetwood is still underaged and therefore it is illegal for them to name him."

"Yeah, that may stop the press, but that's not going to slow the internet conspiracist down," Aizawa muttered.

"It's always the whack jobs," Present Mic said, shacking his head, "Wouldn't it be easier if he- I don't know -change his costume or something?"

"No way," Power Loader firmly denied, "He just got it after he and Hatsume spent hours on it. Besides, he didn't do anything wrong. Why is he being punished?"

"It was just a suggestion, yo. I don't want to punish him either."

"This is the only way," Nezu said, "if we give out this statement before the Press discover Fleetwood, then we have the upper hand. It shows professionalism, honesty and, most of all, it shows we have nothing to hide. Hopefully, at least the of people would recognise that Fleetwood's intentions were admirable."

"Hopefully?" Aizawa grumbled, sitting up in his chair, "Are you saying that my student's future depends on hope? That's not good enough."

"I'm sorry Aizawa, but we can't do anything else," All Might said with a deep frown, "if we make too much of show and dance of it, then the Press would focus their attention on Fleetwood and U.A. They're a business and will do anything to publish any story, true or fake, as long as people want to read about. If we kick up too much of a fuss then we would just make the situation worse."

I quite agree," Nesu said with a nod, "However, that may not be the only thing we can do. As Fleetwood's professors and councillors, it is our duty to protect him. That is why I rely on you to make sure that the true story is known. I'm sure all of you still have connections to other heroes or have influence in different sectors. For example, Present Mic I presume you still host your own radio show."

"You got that right!" the English teacher yelled enthusiastically.

"Be quiet. We're still in a meeting," Aizawa scolded.

Nezu gave a small smile, "The best that we can hope for is that all of this will be forgotten and the Press will soon lose interested. But until then, I'm counting on everybody here to make sure that Fleetwood or any other our students will not be protected from online conspiracies or any dangers that may effect their hero careers."

"Yes principal," the other teachers chorused firmly.

"What about the other students," Snipe pointed out, "What would Fleetwood's classmates make of it."

Midnight hummed, "You've got a point. Didn't you mention that Iida and Fleetwood have been standoffish since the interview, Aizawa."

"I don't know what all of their reactions will be," the homeroom teacher admitted, "But they're not going to do anything stupid like blab about it online. What about your kids, Vlad?"

Class B's homeroom teacher snorted, "I trust them as well. To my knowledge, only a handful have talked to Fleetwood, but they're not the sort to sell their fellow pupil down the river."

"And your class, Power Loader?"

Power Loader waved his steel capped hand dismissively, "I'll make sure they don't cause trouble. Although, I know Hatsume would be disappointed missing out on free advertising."

"Excellent, we have all come to an agreement," Nezu squeaked, "We must do our best to protect our students and, with some luck, all of this will soon blow over as long as Fleetwood keeps his head down."

Suddenly, All Might felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and took it out to see what it was. A new notification from one of the news website had popped up and he was about to dismiss it when he saw the image that tagged along with it. He opened it up and his eyes widened in surprise.

"Umm," he uttered, catching the faculty's attention, "I don't think it will quite blow over anytime soon," he said, showing everybody the news article.

The article was about the arrest of a notorious gang of bank robbers, helped out by the Nighteye and Ryukyu agencies. However, what really caught their attention was the fact that between a stern looking Nighteye and the smiling Dragoon hero was Fleetwood in his hero costume, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

The U.A teachers looked at the article with grim looks while Aizawa held his head in his hands in despair.

"You know," Vlad sighed, "I think I may now have an idea how stressful he is."

Lewis' House

Lewis straightened his tie in the bathroom mirror before observing himself back in his school uniform. It had only been a week since he last wore these clothes, but it felt like it had been way longer. A lot had happened in that past week. He was quite excited going back and seeing his friends and leaning what they got up to at their work study.

'I wonder how Shoko had gotten on?' he wondered, 'Oh and Midoriya and Iida. I barely heard from them in the past few days. Probably too busy,' remembering them forced him to think of the Stain video, making his excited smile drop into a worried frown, 'I wonder how the class is going to react about it. If I could just explain...I don't know though, what if they don't want to listen,' he sighed before taking a deep breath and looking up in determination, 'They wouldn't do that. They're my friends and I trust-'

Before he could reflect on it more, the doorbell rang suddenly. Humming curiously, he disappeared to his front door and opened to see a postman holding a package in one hand and a clipboard in the other.

"Fleetwood?" he asked.

"Yeah…that's me."

The postman held out the clipboard with a pen attached to it, "If you don't mind signing this."

Lewis took the clipboard, signed his name before giving it back in exchange for the parcel. He said thank you and goodbye to postman before closing the door and inspecting the package. It felt and weighed like a hardback book wrapped up in brown paper. He slowly undid the tape and slid the book out along with a small note. He looked at the book first, the cover was blood red with two large black splotches in the centre. Above it, the title read: 'Meta Liberation Warfront'. Just reading the title made Lewis shiver slightly, something about this book seemed...off. He turned to the note which simply said, in neat handwriting:

"Thought you would find this interesting. An alternative that you may like.'

It didn't give a name, but it was signed with a winking face that, somehow, looked menacing.

"Alternative?" he muttered to himself, thinking back to the blue skinned journalist back at the Sports Festival.

She mentioned something on those lines, didn't she.

He snapped out of his stupor when he realised that if he needed to leave. He looked around for a place to put the book and decided to leave it on the bookshelf in his living room. He honestly didn't know what to make the book, but he could worry about it later. Picking up his bag and slinging it over his shoulder, Lewis left his home and headed to U.A.

Class 1A

Lewis had only slid the class door open when somebody jumped in front of him causing him to yelp.

"Fleetwood!" Kirishima yelled, "Well done getting in the news, bro!"

Lewis' eyes widened in surprise, 'Why is he complimenting me?' he wondered before asking with a nervous smile, "How long have you been waiting for me to come in?"

"About ten minutes," Jiro answered from her desk.

"He scared about half the class before you came in," Sero added.

"I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to congratulate him," Kirishima argued, "Your one of the few people who got in the news in our class. It's awesome!" he declared as he slapped Lewis on the shoulder.

Lewis almost fell down from the very powerful hit and straightened his glasses, "Thank you...I guess. But it's not really something to be proud of."

"What are you talking about? You took down a gang of thieves."

"What?" he questioned before he realised what he meant, "Oh you mean the Shinpi Gang. That got in the news?"

"It sure did, Neko chan," Mina chirped, holding her phone to see said article, "It looks like you, Asui and Jiro are ahead all of us," she said, earning a growl from Bakugo.

"Lucky," Hagakure muttered as she crossed her arms, "All I did was paperwork."

Jiro rolled her eyes and played with one of her earjacks, "I didn't do anything special. I only just guided evacuees and did logistical support stuff."

"Ribbit- And I only did patrolling," Asui added, "And captured a stowaway."

"That's still pretty impressive!"

Lewis sighed in relief, 'They're not going to bring up the video,' he thought before giving them an uneasy smile, "I didn't do anything either. Just some surveillance work."

"Yeah, but you also caught the guy who jumped off the balcony at the hero convention two days ago," Mineta said, earning some intrigued hums from the room.

"First of all, Komori from Class B actually saved her," Lewis countered, "Secondly...how did you know that?"

"I was there," the short boy told him, "I was running errands for that demon in disguise, Mt Lady," he muttered in annoyance.

"You were? Why didn't you say hello?"

"You think I waste my time saying hello to you when there were babes in cosplay all around?"

"...I suppose not. Still would've been nice to catch up."

"But that's not the only thing," Karminari said as he leaned back in his seat, "Fleetwood and you three had that run in with the Hero Killer," he said, nodding at Midoryia and Iida gathered around Shoko's desk.

The three looked a little startled at being caught out while Lewis sweated a little.

"Yeah, dude, the Hero Killer," Sero said as everybody started to gather around them.

"I was so worried for all four of you," Momo told them with concern.

"They say you got rescued by Endeavour," Kirishima called out, "That's the No.2 hero for you!"

Shoko's frowned slightly at the mention of her father, infuriated that he was getting the credit for their joint effort.

"Yeah, rescued," she murmured.

Lewis saw the look on her face and offered her a supporting smile, catching her attention. Shoko gazed at him for a few seconds before she relaxed a little bit, her frown replaced by a very small smile.

"Right," Karminari agreed, "But did you watch the video. That guy was super scary that I'm surprise that you even approached him, Fleetwood."

And there it was. Lewis knew it was only a matter of time. He gulped as he felt the eyes of his classmates on him, making him sweat nervously. Despite knowing it was going to come up, Lewis was not at all prepared to begin to explain what happened, but, before he could, Iida raised his arm in the air.

"Fellow class members," he called out in a firm voice, "I assume you have all seen the notorious Stain video and I would like to say that Fleetwood had no ill intentions when he supported Stain," he declared, much to Lewis utter shock, "He recognised the injured state he was in and, despite knowing who he was and his crimes, decided to help him. If he didn't, then he could have died and while I may...have my opinions of the Hero killer, Fleetwood did the right thing and saved another persons' life. This is why I must insisted that none of you listen to the lies presented in that video," Iida looked at him with a supportive smile, "Fleetwood did nothing wrong."

Iida ended in his small speech, leaving the entire class completely silent. Lewis was still bewildered by what he said. No longer was he giving him the cold shoulder, but now he seemed more open and friendly as if they had returned to the time before the interview. It was quite surprise...but Lewis was more than happy with it.

"Well duh, of course he's innocent," Karminari said, much to Lewis' and Iida's confusion.

"Yeah, I mean it's Fleetwood we're talking about," Ojiro added.

"So, he was supporting him because he was injured," Asui mused, "That makes sense."

Lewis looked around at the class, "Wait, you don't think I was involved in some sort of conspiracy?" he asked them.

...

...

...

...

Suddenly, the entire class, except for Iida, Lewis and Midoryia, burst out in roaring laughter. The more enthusatic students, like Mina, Kirishima and Sero, had tears rolling down the eyes as they bent over laughing. The more tranquil students, like Ojiro, Jiro, Shouji, chuckled. Even the more mature students like, Momo, Shoko and Fumikage, smiled in amusement while Lewis looked around the room in utter confusion. He looked towards Iida and Midoryia for an explanation, but they merely shrugged.

"W-what's so funny?" Lewis asked.

"We're sorry, Fleetwood," Momo said as she giggled, "But you're not really the sort who would do conspiracies."

"What? Why?"

"Your asking why? Ochako questioned between fits of laughter, "The same guy who dressed up as a cheerleader in front of the entire world."

"I guess, but that doesn't-"

"The guy who we have a photo of covered in cats," Hagakure chipped in.

"There's a photo of me doing what?"

"The guy who failed his stealth training exercise because he got spooked by a wasp," Sero gasped.

"I wasn't spooked, I was attacked. Anyone would do the same if they were attacked by those vicious insects."

"Face it, mon ami," Aoyama said, flicking his blond hair, "You are not the treacherous type," he said, as everybody began to calm down slightly.

Kirishima nodded his head, "Yeah, we know you too well. I just assumed you had a reason when I watched it."

"What you think we were going to turn on you or something?" Karminari asked.

"Err...well," he stammered, a little bit overwhelmed by what was going on.

It felt nice that they trusted him so much and Lewis couldn't help but give a small smile. Before he could reply, the classroom door slid open and Aizawa stepped in, casting a glare at his students not in their places.

"In your seats now," he ordered and instantly everybody sat down, "A few announcements before you start All Might's lesson," he drearily said, "In regards to the Stain video, Principal Nezu and the other teachers have decided to release a statement claiming that the subject was one our students. With some luck, the Press would not pester for more answers," he said, making Lewis feel a little better that something has been done, "The reason why I am telling you this is because the subject's identity is strictly confidential or you'll complicate matters. I don't want anybody telling their friends outside this school or posting it on social media. It's not necessarily a secret, but don't tell anybody who doesn't need to hear it. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, Mr Aizawa," the class chorused.

"Good. Fleetwood," the teacher called out, making him sit straight in attention, "Do not worry about anything. If something does come up or you're being questioned then contact me immediately."

"Yes sir," Lewis replied, "Thank you, sir."

He closed his eyes and smiled gently, feeling much calmer then he was a few minutes ago. It seemed stupid that he doubted them in the first place.

"Fleetwood," Aizawa said, making him open his eyes, "You're not off the hook yet."

He reached under his desk and pulled an empty glass jar and placed it down. It had a brass metal lid which, Lewis noticed, had a slit cut out on the top. The whole class looked at the jar strangely, wondering what he was going to do with it.

"Do you know what this is?" Aizawa questioned Lewis.

He blinked in confusion, "It's...a jar."

"Yes, but it's not just a jar," the teacher answered, taking out a marker from his pocket and writing something on one side. As soon as he finished, he turned the jar towards them, showing that he wrote '¥500', "This is a 'Fleetwood has caused an unnecessary stir that the school now has to fix up' Jar. It's like a Swear Jar, but instead of putting money in whenever you swear, you have to put money in when caused an unnecessary stir that the school now has to fix up. Like the Stain video, or the interview, even Cheer-wood has caused us some problems from seedy magazines trying to hire you," Lewis shivered at that, "Every time you cause another sensation, you will deposit ¥500 and the proceeds would go towards the faculties' end of year party."

"You do realise then none of them are entirely my fault," Lewis complained, "And why can't you set up a normal Swear Jar for Bakugo. You would fill the jar up by the end of the week."

Bakugo snapped his head towards, "Shut the fuck up, you stupid piece of shit. I don't swear that fucking much!"

Lewis gestured to him, completely unfazed by his shouting, "See. You would have already made ¥1500."

Aizawa sighed, "Bakugo's family would go bankrupt before he learns to stop swearing so it wouldn't work..."

"Hey!"

"...I know you don't mean to cause them, but it doesn't we can't just let it go by. Some of the faculty are working overtime to make sure you're safe, so I thought this would be the least you can do to thank them."

Lewis had to admit he did make a point. The teachers have been a great help out of the kindness of their hearts and it's only ¥500 which is going to a good cause. It's not like he's going to be causing more trouble in the near future anyway.

"Alright then," Lewis agreed, finding his wallet and pulling out three coins. He placed the money in the palm of his hand and squeezed his hand shut until the clattering of metal on glass was heard. The entire class looked and saw that the three coins were secured in the jar, "Maybe this will be a good way of breaking my habit."

Aizawa hummed and placed the jar on his desk, "Midnight thought the same thing, but the Principal disagreed with her idea of putting a shock collar on you."

"...Wait, what?" Lewis uttered.

"Moving on, next week we will have visitors from Isamu Academy High School, where we will being doing a joint survival course in the forest training grounds. Please be sure to welcome them and set an example of the values U.A holds," he announced unenthusiastically.

"Whoa, students from another hero school are coming here," Kirishima whispered under his breath.

"It'll be cool to see how different their schools are," Jiro admitted.

Bakugo gritted his teeth in a bloodthirsty smile, "I'm going to beat them to a pulp."

"Please don't do that," Midoryia begged with a sweat drop.

"And finally," Aizawa continued, "hand in your internship reports before you go to All Might's lesson. I'm going to read all of them tonight and then tomorrow I will call on you one at a time during the day to discuss them," he told them, earning a nod from his class, "Good. That's it, you're dismissed. Go and change into your costumes and report to Ground Gamma," he instructed as he got into his sleeping bag and laid on the floor.

Now used to him, the students briskly stood up and placed their reports on the desk, ready for another of All Might's Hero lessons.

Ground Gamma

Not too far away from the main school building, Ground Gamma was an area that resembled an industrial site. With its tall towers, large metal pipes, narrow lanes and semi-constructed building, the entire training grounds was a tightly packed maze, designed for battles and rescues in enclosed spaces. The entire class, now kitted out in their costumes, stood on an observation deck overlooking the grounds. Due to how massive the site was, however, a giant screen was provided for them above the deck and filing robots dotted around the area to get close up to the action. All Might, wearing his Golden age costume, stood proudly before them, preparing their lesson.

"I AM HERE...IS THE NOTE I USUALLY DO THINGS ON, BUT RIGHT, ONTO FOUNDATIONAL HERO STUDY TIME!" he proclaimed, "IT'S BEEN A WHILE BOYS AND GIRLS! ALL IN GOOD SPIRITS, I HOPE!"

"That was a lukewarm welcome," someone muttered, "After so long as well."

All Might flinched slightly at that, but continued anyway, "Ahem- RIGHT ON THE HEELS OF ALL YOUR WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE! THIS TIME WE'LL MIX IN AN ELEMENT OF PLAY! IT'S A REACUE TRAINING RACE!"

Iida, who was wearing his P.E because his costume was being repaired, put his hand straight up, "Sir, if it's a rescue training then should it be carried out in the USJ?"

"NO, THAT PLACE IS FOR DISASTER REACUE," he answered, "WHAT WAS I SAYING? AH YES! A RACE!," he gestured to the grounds behind him, "THIS IS GROUND GAMMA! WHERE DENSELY PACKED LANES MAKE THIS CONSTRUCTION SITE SEEM MORE LIKE A LABYRINTH! MAKE FOUR GROUPS OF FIVE! WE'LL DO THE TRAINING ONE GROUP AT A TIME! WHEN I'VE GIVEN THE DISTRESS SIGNAL SOMEWHERE IN THE AREA, YOU ALL START SIMULTANEOUSLY FROM OUTSIDE THE LIMITS! THIS IS A COMPETITION TO SEE WHO CAN COME TO MY AID FIRST!" he explained before pointing at Bakugo, "OF COURSE, KEEP DAMAGE TO THE SURROUNDING BUILDINGS TO A MINIMUM."

"Don't point fingers," he growled.

Chargebolt (Karminari) scratched his hair, "Sucks to be on the same team as Fleetwood. He could just teleport to your location before anybody else gets a chance."

"AHA!" All Might called out, "LIKE A GOOD TEACHER, I'VE PREPARED FOR THIS! MY LOCATION WILL CHANGE AFTER EVERY GROUP!" he explained proudly.

Prism (Hagakure) waved her gloved hand, "Yeah, but as soon as you send out a distress signal, he will know where you are," she said, causing All Might to sweat slightly.

"RIGHT...OF COURSE...I DIDN'T THINK OF THAT!" he admitted, "THEN EVERYBODY ON FLEETWOOD'S TEAM WILL BE GIVEN A 30 SECOND HEAD START!"

"Doesn't really seem fair to Fleetwood," Uravity said.

"Yeah and does 30 seconds really make a difference," Sugar Man added, "He can teleport in a blink of an eye."

All Might sweat dropped before he turned to Cheshire and bowed down to his height, "I KNOW IT GOES AGAINST THE SPIRIT OF A RACE, BUT DO YOU MIND..."

"Don't worry, I promise I won't just disappear to the location," he reassured, earning a thankful nod from All Might.

The first team to go up was Deku, Xeno, Tailman, Cellophane and Iida. As they took their positions, Cheshire walked up beside Creatie as she watched the screen displaying the four racers.

"So, who do you think is going to win?" he asked.

Creatie hummed, considering all the options, "Well, it is hard to say. All of them are very athletic and this sort of terrain is suitable for their quirks. However, I am not confident in Midoriya's abilities since he receives such grievous injuries."

Cheshire chuckled, "I don't know about that. I think he's actually improved since the last time we've seen him use his quirk."

A klaxon rang out through the grounds, signifying the start of the race. The screen showed the competitors instantly take off from the starting position and navigate through the industrial maze. All of them had different techniques. Iida was using his speed and mobility to leap great distances, Tail Man was using his tail to grip and swing from pipe to piper, while Xeno was using her acid to melt handgrips to get her across. However, it was Cellophane who was making the best progress, using his tape to swing himself over the buildings without any effort. It looked like he was going to win when suddenly something zipped past him.

Deku jumped, leaped and sped over the site as green electricity crackled around him. Everybody gasped as they watched the person, who when used their quirk before ended up in the hospital, do impressive feats right before their eyes. Some may have called it a miracle, but Cheshire knew better. Midoriya has managed to exceed his limits.

Cheshire smiled, but noticed the downtrodden look on Creatie's face.

"I see," she murmured, "Everyone has improved except for me."

He frowned in concern, 'She's still doubting herself, huh,' he thought to himself, "So, how was your Work Study?"

Creatie snapped out of her misery and gave him a fake smile, "It was fruitful. Yes, I leaned a lot from Uwabami and I'm grateful that she took the time to teach us...I'm not convincing you, am I?"

Cheshire shook his head, "Unfortunately not. Do you want to tell me what you did?"

"We..." she sighed and bowed her head in frustration, "...we filmed an advert...for shampoo," she admitted, causing him to cringe.

"Is that all?"

"We want to photo shoots and watched Uwabami sign autographs, but yes, that was pretty much all we did," she shook her head in despair, "How could I be so stupid. I should have planned instead of wasting my internship. Now I'm falling behind."

"You're not falling behind. Stop comparing yourself to other people and focus on ways you can improve," he told her, "So, you made the bad decision. I make bad decisions all the time, we all do. The important part is to try and not make the same mistake twice. Do you remember what I said back at the Sports Festival?"

Creatie nodded, "We have three years to learn how to become heroes."

"Exactly, plenty of time and with all the best resources at your disposal. There's no point feeling it get you down just because Midoriya can now do...whatever he's doing with the green electricity. You're are great at encouraging us to try harder. Help us improve and we will help you return. That's why I voted for you to be vice rep, after all."

Creatie glanced over at him before she moved her head away, trying to hide her smile, "At least once can you let me be miserable."

"No can do," he shrugged, "I do tend to annoy others until they stop being upset."

"I don't think that's a great strategy?"

"I mean it worked with Shoko," he said, making her giggle.

The class gasped again and Cheshire and Creatie looked up at the screen in time to see Deku slip on a horizontally lined pipe and fall off. Everybody was surprised, except for Bakugo who pointed at laughed at the screen.

"Hah! That's what you get for stealing my moves, you stupid deku!"

Cheshire and Creatie looked over at him with dull looks.

"I suppose all of us can improve in some ways," she commented.

Cheshire hummed in agreement.

Cheshire stood at his starting position, stretching in preparation for the race. His opponents were Tentacole, Prism, Froppy and Chargebolt who were at their starting positions ready to see the All Might's signal.

He was feeling fairly confident about this race. He doesn't need to worry about Prism or Chargebolt, but the other two were going to be a problem. Tentacole could easily manoeuvre through the zone with his powerful arms and not only could Froppy leap very high, but she can also climb up walls and grab things with her tongue. However, Cheshire had a trick up his sleeve which was perfect for this exercise.

He adjusted his goggles and pulled up his mask over his nose, waiting for the signal. He didn't have to wait long as he spotted a flare shoot out from atop a tall tower in the distance followed by the klaxon and instantly Cheshire jumped off his podium with his head to the ground.

He counted in his head...3...2...1...now! and disappeared before his head could hit the ground and appear in the next alleyway with his head upwards. He rocketed over the buildings and construction until gravity took hold on him and he began to fall once again, disappearing before he could hit the ground and appearing again. He repeated the process a few times before running along a crane and jumping off the end.

That's where he spotted Froppy hopping over a tower below him. He saw her looking up at him, her eyes narrowing slightly competitively. Cheshire smiled behind his mask, he may not like competing, but he'll let this one slide.

Just this one time.

He tucked himself into a ball fell forwards into a roll as he dropped down another alleyway. He reappeared shooting out of another alley, kicked himself off a water tower and performed a somersault over Froppy. The frog girl shot her tongue at a pipe, pulled herself up a pipe and used the momentum to soar through the air.

They were neck in neck, leaping, jumping and soaring through the air until they got to the tower where All Might was. Froppy landed on a girder and used her powerful legs to leap a three quarters up the tower. She stuck herself to the side and began to climb up.

Cheshire was about to disappear as well, but suddenly he felt his quirk not working. He looked around and spotted a robot camera looking up at him from a chimney.

'Damn, that's cheating,' he thought to himself.

He looked up and saw that Froppy was almost at the top. He searched the area and saw an alleyway right behind him where he knew the camera won't see him. He backflipped into the alleyway and fell headfirst, disappearing at the right moment to appear on the side of the tower around four feet from the edge. Using his momentum he pushed his feet up the side of the tower as if he was running up at and flipped forwards once he reached the edge. He grabbed the railing on the edge of the tower and pushed off it over Froppy and landed on his feet right in front of All Might.

"WE HAVE A WINNER!" All Might called out, "CONGRATULATIONS CHESHIRE!"

He sighed in relief and wiped the sweat off his forehead, "Phew, I did it."

"YOU SURE DID! I HOPE YOU DON'T MIND ABOUT THE CAMERA; I PUT IT THERE ON PURPOSE TO PUSH YOURSELF FURTHER!" All Might explained patting his shoulder.

"Well, I do mind, but I understand," he muttered as Froppy came up to him.

"Damn, I thought I beat you there -ribbit," she said, holding out her hand.

Cheshire took her hand and shook it, "You almost did. I never knew you were so fast."

"I never really showed off before," Froppy said before she looked around, "None of the others are here yet."

Cheshire hummed and looked around, "Yeah, I wonder how they are doing?"

Somewhere in Ground Gamma

A floating pair of gloves and shoes made its way quickly though the labyrinth, trying to get the target as possible. However, Prism stopped when she heard the booming voice of All Might telling everybody that the race was over.

"I...never stood a chance," Prism muttered miserably.

Men's Changing Rooms

Lewis, no longer wearing his hat, goggles and mask, inspected Midoriya's shoulder as the green haired teen sat on the bench in front of him. Soon, he pulled away and gave Midoriya a thumbs up.

"You're fine. It's just a bruise. It'll be sore for a while," he told him.

"Thanks," he gratefully said, "I would've come first if I didn't slip. How do you keep your balance when running along pipes."

"A combination of years of gymnastics and my specially designed boots" Lewis answered, lifting one of his boots to show the sole, "I can't help with the first one, but I can see if can make you a similar design."

Midoriya nodded thankfully, "That would be very helpful, thank you."

"So, what was the green electricity...thing," Lewis asked as he took off his coat, "I saw the same thing with..." he looked around to see if any of the boys were listening in before whispering, "when we battled Stain, but I didn't have time to ask."

"Oh right...well, It's a new thing I call Full Cowling...err it's hard to explain," he said.

Lewis chuckled, "Try your best. I'm sure I'll get it."

"Right, well," Midoriya took a deep breath, "Imagine I'm a taiyaki in a microwave."

...

...

...

"...ok, I'm already lost."

Midoryia rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "Sorry, the microwave cooks the taikyaki evenly by rotating it constantly, right? So what I do is instead of focusing all my power in one place, I channel it throughout my body evenly. I now have better mobility, I'm stronger and-"

"You don't break your bones?"

"Exactly!"

Lewis hummed, "That's brilliant and it took you only a week to figure out."

Midoryia nodded enthusiastically, "I sure can. So, what was that technique you were using during the exercise."

"Oh it's nothing special. If I fall headfirst and disappear at the right moment, I can use the momentum to rocket myself over buildings. However, you know what is actually cool," he raised his hand to him and gradually made it fade before his eyes, "I was able to find another way I can disappear without needing to know where I'm going. It's actually quite...and you're already writing it down," he finished as he saw Midoryia writing in his notebook, "Where did you even get it from?"

"You guys!" Mineta called out as he waved to them, "Check this out," he said before pointing to a hole in the wall hidden behind a poster, "Our senpais had shawshanked a hole though the wall, right into the girl's changing room."

Lewis sighed and took out his phone from his bag.

"Cease at once, Mineta!" Iida ordered fiercely, "Peeping is a flagrant crime!"

Mineta rolled his eyes and tore away the poser completely, "Hey man, my little Mineta's already being a flagrant crime if you know what I mean!" he cried as he manically turned leaned his eye closer to the hole, "I get to see Yaoyoruzu's honkers! Ashido's slender figure!" his eye got closer, "Todoroki's smoking hot bod! Hagakure's floating panties!" his eye got closer, "Uraraka's bright beautiful body and can't forget Asui's surpringly big boobi-"

Suddenly, from out of the hole, Jiro's earphone jack shot out and pieced Mineta's eye.

...

...

...

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mineta screamed in pain as he clutched his eye.

As the short boy rolled around on the ground, the other boys looked up from him to see ice fill up the hole, courtesy of Todoroki's quirk.

"What a vicious attack from Jiro," Midoyia uttered, "Do you think she heard him through the wall?"

Lewis shrugged, "Maybe."

He looked down at his phone when a new message from Mina appeared on the screen. It read:

'Thx for telling us :)'

Hallways

After getting changed and dropping off Mineta at the infirmary, Midoryia and Lewis headed towards the cafeteria to have lunch but before they could get any furter, Iida called out to Lewis.

"Fleetwood, can I have a word with you?" he stoically asked.

Lewis raised his eyebrows curiously before turning back to Midoriya, "You go on," Midoryia told him, "All Might wants to talk to me anyway, so I'll see you two back in class. Bye," he said before he walked off.

Iida waved at him to follow him to a more secluded hallway.

"Do you know what All Might wants to talk to Midoriya about?" Iida asked.

Lewis cleared his throat, "Probably something to do with today's training. He was doing so well until he, you know, slipped and fell."

Iida nodded in understanding, accepting his excuse. As soon as they were away from the rest of the class, Iida turned to him with an expressionless face.

"What do you-"

Iida bowed deeply to him, taking him by surprise and stopping him mid-sentence. He was about to ask what he was doing, but he heard him sniff sadly and tears fall from his eyes and onto the floor.

"I'm sorry, Fleetwood. For everything. I avoided my duties, got my classmates injured and chose an unheroic path just because I wanted revenge. It's so petty of me and against everything I value as a hero," he apologised, not looking up from his bow, "Most importantly, I took my anger and petty desire out on you, just because of your opinion. It's so stupid of me-"

Lewis kneeled down so he looked up at Iida, "Hey, It's alright. I don't blame you at all."

"Well, you should!" he shouted, snapping his teary face up at him, "Don't forgive me so easily! I deserve to suffer!"

"Iida!" Lewis shouted back before responding in a calmer tone, "What I was about to say was that I'm also partially to blame here," he told him, much to Iida's confusion, "I knew what I said had upset you, but instead of apologising, like I should have, I argued that I was right. It was not the time or place for it and I'm sorry. I'm also sorry that I didn't do more to help you."

"I ignored you on purpose," Iida argued.

"That doesn't mean I couldn't have done more. You were suffering and a hero is suppose to help those who are suffering. Imagine what things would have been like if I stopped you earlier," Lewis said.

"There was no way you could have predicted what was going to happen."

"Yeah, I guess," Lewis admitted, rubbing the back of his head, "Can we please forgive each other and be friends again?"

Iida was silent for a moment before he stood up straight and smiled happily, "Of course, I can forgive you."

"And I forgive you," Lewis said as he stood up as well. However, his smile dropped slightly, "How's your brother? It's been a while since I asked."

Iida gave a shaky sigh but smiled nonetheless, "He's been awake for a while now and mother has brought him home. The doctors are saying that he will recover...but he may never work as a hero again."

"Oh God, I'm really sorry Iida," Lewis uttered, "Is there anything I can do for him?"

"You don't have to trouble yourself?"

"I can send him some Peony flowers and a 'Get Well Soon' card."

Iida hummed, "I think he'll like that, thank you. Anyway, I need to get going. I have avoided my duties as Class Rep for too long. Farewell, Fleetwood," he said before he marched off down the hallway.

Lewis couldn't help but chuckle as he watched him robotically walk away, "He's back," he said to himself.

"What were you two talking about?"

Lewis yelped at the sudden questioned and leaped back to see Nejire standing beside him. Her head was tilted inquisitively and her eyes were filled with wonder.

"Hado, where did you-"

She stopped him by poking his chest, "Hey, I told you to call me Nejire or sempai," she complained before her eyes widened, "Oh, I almost forgot."

"Forgot what?"

Instead of answering him, Nejire folded her arms in front of her, turned her back to him and pouted as if she was cross with him. Lewis was sure that she was trying to look angry, but, to him, she only made herself look even more adorable then she already was.

"Humph!" she uttered, causing him to look at her strangely.

Lewis raised an eyebrow and tried to step right to see her face, but she turned her back to him again. He stepped again and she turned as well. He stepped to the right this time, but got the same result from her.

"Errr...did I do something to anger you?" he asked.

"Humph!" she responded.

Lewis racked his brain, trying to figure out what he did. Suddenly, he realised what it was, "Are you angry because I chose Mirio's agency and not yours?"

"Humph!" she responded which he took as a yes.

"You do know I chose Nighteye's agency because it would benefit my quirk more and not because I didn't want to see you?"

"I know, but I missed out on a week of questions I could have asked you," she muttered before whispering to herself, "no, stop Nejire. You're supposed to be ignoring him."

Lewis frowned slightly before he smiled in amusement, "Well, I guess you're ignoring me. Nothing I can do," he sighed, turning around and shrugging, "Shame really, because I was going to buy you lunch..." Nejire perked up at that, "...and I could have answered all your questions..." she looked over her shoulder, "...and I was going to let you wear my glasses again. But since you're ignoring me-"

"No wait! I'm sorry!" Nejire called out, using her quirk to get in front of him, "Please can we do all those things! I've got so many questions!"

Lewis smiled before he took off his glasses and passed it to her, "Alright let's g-urk!" he cried as she dragged him by the arm to the cafeteria.

"Yay!" Nejire, who was now wearing his glasses, cried, "Let's go!"

"Nejire! I can walk there myself!"

Class 1A

It was nearing the end of the school day and the class were chatting to each other as they waited for Aizawa to arrive for homeroom.

Lewis was sharpening his pencil when he heard a strange groaning noise. He looked over to his left, where he heard the noise, and saw Shoko looking down at her desk with an intense glare.

"What was that sound?" he asked.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Shoko instantly answered without looking up.

Suddenly, the strange noise sounded again, but this time Lewis knew that it had come from Shoko. The stoic girl eyes widened and held her stomach, gritting her teeth angrily and in embarrassment.

"I...may have skipped lunch today," she admitted, not looking him the eye.

Lewis raised an eyebrow at her before flicking his wrist and making an apple appear in his hand. He placed it on Shoko's desk to which she stared at it for a few seconds before taking it and biting into it.

"Why did you skip lunch?" he asked curiously.

Shoko swallowed the piece of apple, "They ran out of soba."

"Didn't they have anything else?"

"They did," she answered, "But I like soba."

'And so she decided to starve herself?' he thought in bewilderment, before he gave her a sheepish smile, "I never knew you liked soba. Do you like the type they serve at U.A?"

She shrugged, "It will do. It's not the best I've eaten...my mother used to make it for me to make me feel better after my training. And when she was hospitalised, Fuyumi started making it for me. It just doesn't taste the same if anybody else makes it...Are you crying?" she asked, giving him an odd look.

Lewis wiped the tear from his eye, "I'm fine...just something got stuck in it," he lied.

"However," Shoko continued, "Fuyumi has been too busy to make it recently, so I had to make do with what I got."

Lewis hummed and scratched his cheek thoughtfully, "Well, I'm good at cooking. Why don't I make some for yo-"

"You will?" Shoko asked so suddenly that Lewis almost fell out of his chair.

Lewis blinked at the her. She still wore a stern expression, but her heterochronic eyes were wide and sparkled a little. She seemed to give off a bright and happy aura and Lewis wondered if this was her equivalent of showing excitement.

"Yeah sure," he told her, "How hard can it be."

Lewis would later look up the recipe and found that it was much harder then he was expecting.

Shoko stared at him with her version of excitement before her cheeks became slightly red. She turned to the front and took another bite of her apple, "I would like that," she said calmly, "I like it with buckwheat and they need to be served cold."

'Cold? Wow, I really don't anything about soba,' he thought with a sweat drop.

The classroom door slid open and, almost instantly, the entire class stopped what they were doing and paid attention to their teacher. Aizawa dragged himself to his desk and looked up at the silent class with tired look.

"Just one final announcement today," he told them, "Summer break is fast approaching, but, of course, it stands to reason none of you have enough leeway to just relax until then," he sighed as he knew that the next thing he will say would no doubt cause the class to interrupt him, "We'll be going to a summer break forest lodge..."

"Aw yeah!" almost the entire class shouted, much to Aizawa's annoyance.

"Let's give each other dares!" Mina shouted as she pumped her fist in the air.

"The baths," Mineta shouted

"And fireworks," Asui said with an excited croak.

"The baths!"

"Summer break means curry!" Ochako said, almost salivating at the thought.

"Outdoor tubs!"

"SHUT UP ABOUT THE BATHS, YOU PERVERTED FREAK!" Bakugo shouted at Mineta.

"However," Aizawa firmly said, shooting a warning glare at the class, making them fall silent once again, "Should any of you fall short of a passing grade for the end-of-term exams, then you're stuck in school, in remedial hell," he threatened, causing the students to shiver.

'I guess, we'll be having a busy few days,' Lewis thought to himself, 'finals exams, studying, the other hero school visiting. You know what, I think I prefer the mundane stuff to the...life-threatening stuff. And now that Iida, the Stain video and whether the class trusts me has be resolved, I can finally enjoy the next few days.'

And it will be a nice, peaceful few days for Lewis...until the day he will receive the invitation to I-Island, but until then it was easy sailing for him. Seeing, the rest of the class talking excitedly about the holiday, Lewis sneakily got his phone out and started looking up recipes on how to make soba.

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed it.

There were a few people asking me about what would be U.A's response to the video and I think I accurately predicted what would happen. It's not as if they would throw him out of school or anything, because...well that's what schools are supposed to do, protect their students. I also think the class would be supportive of Lewis. I mean none of them are bad people and they know and trust him.

Also, if I hadn't made it obvious already, but I have a new story out. So if you're a fan of Demons Slayer then check it out.

Otherwise, thanks for reading and I'll see you next time :)
