Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

Chapter 37: Secret of the Omnitrix, Part 2

We see the group back in the lab on the ship as 'Azmuth' scans the Omnitrix.

She says, "yep, you were right. The Omnitrix is stuck in Self Destruct Mode."

Ben, "yeah. But thank God you're here to help shut it down. Right?"

'Azmuth', "yeah, about that…. How do I put this…."

Hope muttered, "of course there's a roadblock."

'Azmuth', "I didn't officially create the Omnitrix."

Everyone yelled, "WHAT!?"

EightEight, "you mean you're not-"

She said, "the egotistical, stubborn, short-sighted little jerk that created this thing? No! I'm his assistant, Myaxx."

Hope, "then why was it your DNA signature on the Omnitrix?"

Myaxx, "I erased Azmuth's signature and put my own, because he never gave me the credit I deserve for helping him."

Tetrax is furious and yells, "is there any other vital information you forgot to mention!?"

Myaxx, "I can't stop the countdown, on account of Azmuth not trusting me with the abort sequence."

Tetrax slammed her against the wall as the others stepped back.

Tetrax growled at her as she said, "y'know, if you weren't nearly choking me, I'd say you're kinda cute when you're angry."

Tetrax was glad he couldn't blush at her comment, and glared at Technorg and EightEight when they snickered at Myaxx's comment.

Tetrax growled, "give me one good reason reason not to shoot you back to Incarcecon!?"

Myaxx, "because I know where Azmuth is."

Gwen exclaimed, "where!?"

Myaxx, "Xenon."

Tetrax grew frightened as he let her go and said, "Xenon? It had to be Xenon!"

Technorg, "damn!"

Ben, "why do I get the feeling Xenon isn't a popular vacation spot for little alien families?"

EightEight, "Xenon is one of the most dangerous places in the entire galaxy. You'd have to be unbelievably insane to go there."

Tetrax, "and that's where we're going. We've gotta get to Xenon before the watch explodes."

Myaxx explains, "that's not all. Those random energy bursts the Omnitrix keeps releasing: the watch is struggling to contain all the energy it's generating for the Big Bang, and they'll keep getting more powerful until the final detonation."

Ben, "we know that part. If the watch goes, I go with it."

Myaxx, "oh, that's the least of your worries. You won't be the only one to die."

Upon this, Tetrax reveals, "if the Omnitrix does detonate, the explosion will cause an energy ripple that will destroy the entire universe all at once."

Ben, Hope and Gwen all said, "Grandpa/Max! Grandma/Xylene!"

Technorg, "the entire universe."

Myaxx, "Azmuth built the self-destruct in order to keep the Omnitrix out of the wrong hands, but he never calculated for anyone being foolish enough to set it off."

Gwen and Hope glanced at Ben as he gave a nervous look.

He looks to Tetrax and exclaims, "how could you not tell us about this!?"

Tetrax, "I never told you, because I thought you would be more concerned about how this affected you."

Ben, "what're you talking about? I help people with the watch all the time!"

Tetrax, "but why do you help people with the Omnitrix at all? Is it because it's the right thing to do, or for the thrills of being a hero?"

Ben tries to speak again, but looks down with a look of contemplation and worry.

He really had to think about why he helped people….

….

Meanwhile, at Incarcecon, we see Vilgax has picked up SixSix on his ship, and the Omnitrix signal.

He called and said, "soon…. The Omnitrix will be mine! And Tennyson's blood will paint the walls of my ship!"

His cackling echoed across the ship!

….

We see Ben sitting in the lab as Myaxx fits the Omnitrix with a device.

She said, "this will stop the energy bursts. But I highly recommend not using the Omnitrix any further."

Ben, "got it. Thanks."

They then hear Tetrax over the ship's intercom, saying, "Gluto is making our approach to Xenon. Everyone to the bridge."

Ben got off the table and followed Myaxx onto the bridge, where all of the others were.

The ship has arrived at Xenon.

Myaxx, "the entire planet is completely cloaked because of a device that Azmuth created that absorbs all the light within range."

Tetrax, "Xenon is surrounded by an asteroid belt which is also cloaked by the device, so now the asteroid belt is mostly composed of failed attempts to get down there."

EightEight, "we gotta find a way through the belt without getting killed."

Technorg, "but how are we gonna do that?"

Myaxx said, "the Omnitrix is built with a homing device that should be able to guide us through the field safely."

Tetrax looks at Ben and asks, "ready for a space walk?"

Ben smirks and says, "awesome…."

….

We then see Ben in a spacesuit, standing atop the ship.

Ben, "so, what do I do?"

Myaxx, "just hold the Omnitrix up."

Ben shrugged and held the watch up. After a few moments, the Omnitrix sends out a beam that illuminates the device, bringing light back to the quadrant and asteroid field while Gluto picks up a signal from a giant incoming piece of debris that drills tethers into the ship's haul.

The whole ship shook as Hope yelled, "what the Hell was that!?"

They all look to see that the tethers came from Vilgax's ship!

The tethers caused Ben to fly off of the ship, yelling, "AW MAN!"

Suddenly, several of Vilgax's drones cut through and entered the bridge, followed by Vilgax and SixSix!

Vilgax yells, "bring me the Omnitrix! And the head of its wearer!"

The others all hear the yelling!

Tetrax, "Vilgax…. We gotta stop him and his cronies. Myaxx, EightEight, you come with me. Technorg, you take a pod out to find Ben. Gwen, you, Gluto and Hope stay here!"

The others nodded as they all ran off to complete their different objectives.

….

We see Technorg climbing into a pod and flying it towards Ben! The boy quickly climbs inside and sits in front of Technorg.

Technorg, "hang on, buddy."

Ben, "thanks! Uh, how do we get back?"

Technorg, "the pod was built for Gluto. I could only send it out. You're gonna have to pilot us back."

Ben, "oh great! Ugh, let's see…."

Ben took control and did his best to steer the pod back towards the ship.

….

The drones speed through the ship, but are suddenly taken out! One is stabbed with crystal shards, while the others are shot with energy blasts.

Tetrax, Myaxx and EightEight are the ones who destroyed the drones.

….

The pod speeds towards a piece of debris.

Ben, "come on! Come on! How do I fly this thing!?"

Suddenly, two metal pillars pop up, and Ben grabs them.

He pulls them left, which causes the pod to veer in that direction.

Ben, "okay, so these move the pod! Now we just gotta get back to the ship!"

But suddenly, laser blasts fly past the pod, making Technorg and Ben look behind them!

They are being pursued by drones!

Technorg, "quick! Use the weapons systems!"

Ben, "how!?"

Ben then noticed two pedals by his feet, and tapped them, which made the pod shoot!

Ben said, "alright!"

Ben then begins a dogfight with the drones!

….

We see Tetrax, Myaxx and EightEight about to exit the ship.

Tetrax handed a suit to Myaxx and said, "put this on."

Myaxx, "what're we doing, exactly?"

EightEight, "we have to detach the tethers from the ship, or both ships will be destroyed when we enter the atmosphere."

Myaxx, "... good point."

She quickly puts the suit on as all three of them use a small hangar to get outside of the ship, and make their way towards the tethers….

….

Vilgax and SixSix enter the control room, only to find it empty.

Vilgax, "gone. Where could they have-"

That's when he catches sight of a nearby camera feed from outside the ship, and he sees Myaxx, EightEight and Tetrax!

Vilgax, "SixSix, take care of them, and I'll up your reward."

SixSix nods before they dash away to take care of their foes….

Suddenly, Gluto reveals that they are still in the control room, and fights off Vilgax the best he can!

….

Meanwhile, Ben continues to fight the drones, shooting at them as he and Technorg laugh and yell!

….

We then see Hope and Gwen destroying drones with the hover simulator!

Gwen shoots a gust of air with her magic that sends the drones crashing into another another, before Hoep shoots a burst of pink magic that blows them to smithereens!

Gwen, "good work."

Hope, "thanks. Now, let's go help Gluto!"

The two girls run back to the control room where they are unaware that Vilgax and Gluto are still fighting; the tyrant trying to pry Gluto off of him!

….

Ben continues to evade the drones in the pod and makes his way to the ship where Tetrax opens the ship for him with a remote device!

Tetrax, "Ben, Technorg, get back on the ship!"

Technorg, "yessir!"

Ben, "you got it, Tetrax!"

….

Vilgax sees Ben's pod on the feed and manages to press a command button on his wrist and yells, "my drones! I order you to attach to the pod!"

Vilgax tears Gluto off of him and sends a large piece of metal on top of him, squishing the slimy alien and seemingly killing him before he runs off!

….

SixSix climbs out and attacks EightEight, Tetrax and Myaxx!

He starts shooting at them as the others shoot back, EightEight yelling, "my brother the clorbag, everybody!"

But just as SixSix is about to get a clean shot at Myaxx, Ben's pod flies by and shoots SixSix and knocks him off the ship, along with his helmet!

SixSix screams in rage as the others give appreciative looks to the pod.

….

Hope and Gwen arrive at the control room and discover that Gluto has been destroyed.

Gwen, "Gluto…. No…."

Hope, "who did this to him?!"

Both are unaware as a drone appears and sets its sights on them!

Just before it shoots them, Gluto regenerates and sacrifices himself to save them. He engulfs the drone as it explodes, sending his orange goo all over the place.

Gwen and Hope are horrified, but they can't mourn now.

They have a job to do, and quickly take to manning the controls!

….

Ben's pod crashes into Vilgax's ship, exploding, but Technorg uses his body to shield Ben from the blast.

The two land in the ship, and look up to see Vilgax waiting for them.

Technorg, "Ben, run!"

Ben runs off, since there's nothing he can do with the Omnitrix in its current state.

Technorg and Vilgax engage in a fist fight, and while Technorg is somewhat larger than Vilgax, the latter has more speed and strategy, and quickly overpowers Technorg by getting behind him and smashing his face into the wall several times, knocking them out!

Ben tries to hide behind a crate in the hangar, yelling, "the Omnitrix is going to explode, Vilgax! I need to shut it down, or the whole universe is doomed! That includes you!"

Vilgax screams in rage, "I don't care! If I'm going to die, I'll take you with me, Tennyson! And I'll at least have the Omnitrix before I perish!"

….

Meanwhile, Myaxx, EightEight and Tetrax untether their ship from Vilgax's, and quickly make their way back inside!

….

Ben tries to hide from Vilgax, but the large alien soon finds him and pins him to the wall!

Ben, "please, we don't have much time! I need to find Azmuth and stop the countdown!

Vilgax, "never! I'd rather die than help the grandspawn of Maxwell Tennyson! I am going to take the Omnitrix! Even if I must tear your hand off to get it! I'd rather die in the vacuum of space!"

Ben looks behind Vilgax and sees a familiar shape approaching the button that opens the hangar.

Ben smirks and says, "was that a promise?"

The alarms start blaring as the hangar doors open, Technorg being the culprit! Ben grabs onto a crate and kicks Vilgax square in the face, sending him flying out into space as the ship starts to enter Xenon's atmosphere.

Technorg quickly closes the hatch after Vilgax flies out, and the two begin running back to the cockpit.

….

Hope and Gwen try to fly the ship with little success, when Ben and Technorg arrive to help.

Ben sees the remains of Gluto on the floor and asks, "what happened to Gluto?"

Gwen, "he sacrificed himself to save us…. He was a real hero."

Technorg, "we shall honor his memory after we find Azmuth."

Hope, "we should worry about the ship crashing first!"

Ben, Hope and Gwen quickly work the controls as EightEight, Tetrax and Myaxx reenter the ship.

The kids manage to stop the ship from crashing, but they fly into a rock pillar and crash anyway.

The ship slides towards a canyon, but stops before it falls off.

EightEight, "not a happy landing."

The group exits the ship, and find themselves standing before a rather large cave entrance.

Myaxx, "here we are. This cave will lead us straight to Azmuth."

Tetrax pulled out several hoverboards and said, "let's get going. We don't have much time left…."

….

We see the group riding aboard the hoverboards a few minutes later, navigating the cave in order to find Azmuth.

They soon ride into a tunnel that's been overrun by vines.

Myaxx, "stop!"

The group stopped as they listened for anything moving.

Suddenly, the vines then transform into wild Florauna!

Ben, "WildVine's!"

They begin to attack the group!

Tetrax shoots shards of diamond while the others shoot at the carnivorous plant aliens!

The group shoots at the Florauna, but they keep coming and coming with seemingly no end in sight!

One tries to grab Ben, but Gwen pushes him out of the way! But it grabs her and drags her away instead!

Gwen, "HELP!"

Ben sees this and yells, "GWEN!"

Ben quickly starts dialing the watch!

Myaxx, "Ben! No! The countdown will accelerate!"

Ben, "I don't fucking care!"

Ben slams down and transforms into FourArms, not caring about the dangers of the countdown despite Myaxx's warning.

FourArms chases after the Florauna, attempting to rescue Gwen.

He grabs onto her arms, with Hope quickly joining in, but their grip slips, and Gwen is dragged underground and seemingly eaten!

FourArms, "NOOOOOO!"

Once it gets away with Gwen, all the other Floraunas stop attacking and leave.

FourArms tries to rescue Gwen, but he cannot due to an impenetrable hatch closing behind it.

He starts punching it over and over again!

Technorg, "Ben…. She's gone…."

FourArms, "NO! I HAVE TO SAVE HER!"

EightEight, "you can't!"

FourArms, "she wasn't even supposed to be here! She should have been with Grandpa and Grandma! Why did they take her!? It should have been me, damnit! It should have been me! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!"

He didn't notice the watch beeping as he yelled, "IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!"

He gave one final punch, being engulfed by smoke for a brief moment as he turned back into Ben and whispered, tears streaming down his face, "it should have been me…."

Hope comes forward and hugs Ben tightly, crying as well, as Tetrax sadly says, "there's no way to save her now. Those wild Florauna were never going to stop until they had one of them."

Ben glared at Myaxx and yelled, "this is all your fault!"

Myaxx, "my fault!?"

Ben, "yeah! If you and your stupid boss hadn't created this damned thing, I wouldn't have found it and Gwen would still be alive!"

Myaxx, "you little…. You can't blame me for this load of-"

Tetrax yelled, "that's enough! It doesn't matter right now! We need to continue on and find Azmuth!"

Hope sighed and said, "Tetrax's right. We gotta keep going, or none of us will make it through this…."

The others calm down and nod before boarding their hoverboards again.

Before getting on the way to Azmuth's lair, Ben looks back at the hatch where Gwen was taken, regretting that he couldn't save her.

On the way, Tetrax looks to Ben and says, "I, um…. I know exactly what you're going through."

Ben, "really?"

Tetrax nodded and said, "when I was about your age, all I cared about was myself. I hurt a lot of people on my home planet. A mercenary who worked for the best of the best, no matter how evil they were. It was only a matter of time before I began working for…. Vilgax…. I stole the last piece of the puzzle Vilgax needed to invade my home planet. When my people wouldn't surrender, he completely destroyed the planet to make an example. I've regretted that day ever since. That was the reason I sent Azmuth my DNA, so I could keep my species alive…. And when I heard that Vilgax wanted the Omnitrix, I vowed to never let Vilgax get his claws on another powerful weapon again."

Ben, "oh man…. I was the one who caused all of this. My reckless behavior at the reactor somehow set off the SDM. Gwen is dead because of me!"

Hope looks sadly at Ben as he begins to cry, while Tetrax says, "you can't focus on that now. We have to keep going before the Omnitrix self-destructs, so that Gwen and Gluto and everyone else won't have died in vain."

As they continued on, Ben sighed and said, "what am I gonna tell Grandpa…?"

Myaxx stops and Ben and the others fly through a security laser that triggers an energy field and Tetrax saves Ben as they fly through it.

A camera recognizes the Omnitrix.

A hologram of a mechanical being appears, asking, "who are you, and what are you doing with my Omnitrix?"

Ben, "you must be Azmuth?"

Azmuth replied, "and who's asking?"

Ben, "I'm Ben Tennyson, sir."

Azmuth, "... Tennyson? As in; Max Tennyson? The one I sent to keep the Omnitrix safe?"

Ben, "yes. I'm his grandson, so it ended up with me. Please, we need your help. The SDM has been activated, and-"

Azmuth, "I know!"

More doors shut in front of them.

Tetrax, "please, we need you to turn it off!"

Azmuth, "why should I? Let the universe blow up, for all I care."

Ben grows angry and yells, "my cousin died to get me here! So you better disarm this thing before I barge in there and crack your head like a coconut!"

Azmuth, "buzz off! And take my good for nothing assistant with ya!"

Myaxx, "nice to see you again too, boss."

Ben angrily dials the watch up and growls, "that's it! I'm coming in!"

With a slam to the dial, he transforms into Cannonbolt and breaks down the doors, declaring, "I'vd come too far to turn back! I've lost too much!"

Azmuth, in his mechanical suit, turns to look at Cannonbolt and the others, looking dismissively at them.

Cannonbolt, "shut off the Omnitrix!"

Hope, "I'd listen to him, if I were you."

Azmuth simply growls, "just leave already. The universe is already doomed. Why bother?!"

Cannonbolt, "if the universe is doomed anyway, I'm taking you down first, ya arrogant jerk!"

He quickly rolls up and speeds forward, crashing into Azmuth and breaking his suit as it collapses to the ground!

And the group watches as what crawls out of the suit?

A Galvan!

Yep, Azmuth is a Galvan.

He has long whiskers and wears a brown robe over a green and black jumpsuit.

He yells, "oh, great, now look what you did! Do you know how long it took me to build this thing!?"

He climbs out and Cannonbolt reverts back into Ben.

Ben, "he's a GreyMatter?!"

EightEight, "a Galvan, to be correct."

Tetrax shrugged and said, "who knew?"

Azmuth growled, "would you all just leave already!?"

Ben showed the watch and growled, "not before you stop the countdown on this thing! This weapon has caused nothing but trouble!"

Azmuth says, "I didn't create a weapon; the Omnitrix was intended to be a peace device, and people like you and Vilgax have caused it to be perceived as a weapon."

Hope, "then why did you send it to his Grandpa?"

Azimuth, "I sent it to Max to keep it safe and to keep the peace. The universe being destroyed is the best thing that could happen, given my inability to see the good in people after so long. And you, ya selfish little jerk, are about to blow the whole galaxy to smithereens!"

Ben, "if you really cared about the universe, you'd shut this thing off! You don't care about anyone but yourself!"

Azmuth, "and are you any different?"

Ben growls at Azmuth, but just as he's about to yell at him again, the lair begins to collapse!

The seven run outside, where Vilgax, SixSix, and many drones are waiting for them!

Vilgax, "bring me the Omnitrix! Bring me its creator! And bring me their heads on pikes!"

Giant drones land and Vilgax sends SixSix to attack and the drones attack, too.

Tetrax and his crew begin attacking as Tetrax forms walls of crystals tax shields as they shoot, and throws a blaster to Ben, who joins in as the others defend themselves.

As Ben hides behind a crystal, Azmuth asks, "why do you continue to defend the Omnitrix? It's pointless to do so right now!"

Ben looks down in thought, remembering the words Tetrax and Gwen said to him.

"Why do you help people with the Omnitrix at all? Is it because it's the right thing to do, or for the thrills of being a hero?"

"He sacrificed himself to save us…. He was a real hero."

Ben gave a defiant look and said, "it's because I think of people besides myself. I help people, simply to help them. And I'm done being selfish about it."

Ben runs off to help fight as Azmuth looks on in contemplation.

Ben shoots down several drones, and as two try to shoot at him from behind, he turns around to see them self-destruct from a magic spell!

Ben looks shocked as Hope runs over to him, and they both look at a large cloud of smoke.

And who walks out?

None other than Gwen and Gluto!

Ben grows a huge smile and, in tears from seeing his cousin alive again, runs to embrace Gwen.

She's shocked at first, but quickly hugs back as Hope joins in.

Ben, "I thought I would never see you again!"

Gwen, "it's gonna take a lot more than that to kill me."

Hope asked as the others ran to them, "how are you and Gluto here?"

Gwen, "Gluto regenerated from the particles left on my clothes from when he exploded back on the ship. He can regenerate himself from the smallest pieces!"

The others looked at Tetrax, who simply said, "who knew?"

Gwen, "anyway, when he reconstituted himself, he saved me from those plants."

The ground shook as SixSix dashed towards them, growling in rage as the drones marched at them.

The group fights against the drones and destroys as many as they can while Tetrax and EightEight battle SixSix.

Ben's gun is destroyed as he, Hope and Myaxx are surrounded by drones.

Ben looks down at the watch and gets an idea and removes the Omnitrix's energy burst deflection device!

Myaxx, "wait, that'll only-"

Ben, "I know!"

A massive energy blast destroys all of the drones and knocks Vilgax and SixSix away.

As Vilgax and his minions regroup, Ben is surprised to see Azmuth running over to him and jumps onto his wrist.

He says, "I'm still not sure the galaxy is worth saving…. But maybe there is something worth saving…."

Azmuth deactivates the Omnitrix just before its countdown reaches zero through removing the dial.

Azmuth jumps away with the dial and back into the cave, some sort of plan in his head….

Giant drones climb to the group's position with Vilgax riding on one.

Ben yelled, "it's over, Vilgax! The Omnitrix has been activated! You can't use it anymore!"

Vilgax shouted, "but the creator still lives! He shall build me a better weapon!"

Tetrax starts shooting drones down as Azmuth runs back out with the dial, dodging various blasts of energy!

Ben sits next to Gwen and says, "well, I guess there goes being a hero…."

While under fire, Gwen says, "are you kidding? You don't need the Omnitrix to be a hero. You've done so much to help us. Our family and friends. You've protected my brother and kids at school. You are a hero, Ben."

Ben can't stop the smile from forming onto his face as Hope kissed him on the cheek and said, "you'll always be my hero, regardless if you have the watch or not."

Ben smiled, but all three grew shocked as Azmuth ran back to them with the dial.

Ben asked, "what're you doing? I thought the watch wouldn't work anymore?"

Azmuth reattached the dial and asked, "who told you that? I certainly didn't!"

After a few twists, the Omnitrix turns back on, signifying the return of Ben's powers to save the day.

Ben 10 was back!

(Even of he had way more than 10.)

Ben, "awesome! Which alien should I use to end all of this?"

Azmuth turned the dial to show a new alien and said, "I suggest the To'kustar. He sure packs a big punch."

Azmuth hops onto the watch, and engulfs Ben in a green light. Suddenly, the light begins to grow and grow, until a ginormous alien stands before everyone.

Hope exclaims, "woah! That's a big alien!"

The new alien has pale white skin with red markings, fins on his arms and head, and another set of smaller yellow eyes near his chin.

The new alien exclaims, "woah! Check me out! I'm not just big! I'm WAY BIG!"

WayBig starts to smash the various robots in midair, even being able to blast lasers from crossing their arms at the drones, and destroys all of Vilgax's forces and then grabs Vilgax!

During this, Tetrax shoots his shards at SixSix, piercing their jetpack as EightEight shoots a large laser at him, sending him flying away, growling in rage as EightEight yells, "see you later, bro!"

Seeing this, Vilgax yells, "NOOOOOOOOOO!"

WayBig, "pretty big talk for such a little guy."

Vilgax claws WayBig's hand!

WayBig, "ow! That's it! You are so outta here!"

WayBig reels his arm back and throws Vilgax clear through space, screaming in pure rage as he flies!

The group all cheered for victory!

They had stopped Vilgax and his forces!

….

Later, Azmuth builds a ship from the scattered robot drone parts.

Ben walks forward and says, "thanks for fixing the watch…. I'm guessing you want it back, hmm?"

Azmuth, "I…. Created the Omnitrix, for the sole purpose of creating a better understanding of the beings of the universe. And I gave it to your Grandpa, since he was one of the finest men I ever met. But…. I think it's in good hands now…. I was moved by your advice about thinking of more than just myself…. If you can make that understanding happen, then I see no reason as to why you can't keep the Omnitrix."

Ben and the others smiled.

Azmuth than said, "besides, that thing is nothing but trouble! I'm glad to be rid of it."

The others chuckle as Azmuth puts the finishing touches on his ship.

He looked at Myaxx and asked, "are you coming?"

Myaxx, "will you actually give me some respect and credit when it's due?"

Azmuth, "eh. I wouldn't count on it."

Myaxx, "guess it is better than that prison planet."

Before she leaves, Myaxx approaches Tetrax and says, "I'll see ya later, big boy."

She suddenly pulls him into a kiss with her tentacles, and runs back to Azmuth's ship before Tetrax can register what just happened.

EightEight and Gluto snicker while Technorg says, "well…. That was something…."

As Azmuth is ready to depart, Ben said, "wait, what about the Master Control?!"

Azmuth asked sarcastically, "don't you wanna figure it out on your own? Like a true hero would?"

Ben, "not really."

Azmuth chuckled, and before he closed the door of the ship, he said, "I like that kid…."

The drone takes off into the air as the group watches it.

Ben turned to Gluto and said, "hey, I just wanna apologize for making fun of you. You saved my cousin, so, thank you."

Gluto then miraculously said, "you're welcome."

Ben and the others all gave shocked looks as Ben exclaimed, "you could understand me this whole time!?"

Gluto, "oh, yes. And I forgive you for all of the insults you used on me. Water under the bridge."

Everyone looked at Tetrax, who simply said, "who knew?"

….

Later, we see Tetrax and his crew dropping Ben, Gwen and Hope back off at the RustBucket.

They had told Max and Xylene the whole story, including who Azmuth was.

Max was surprised that his old friend had been a Galvan the whole time, since he had always worn a robotic suit when he was in public among the Plumbers.

As Tetrax and his crew get ready to leave, he exclaims, "hey, Ben! Catch!"

Ben just barely catches what Tetrax tossed to him. A brand new hoverboard!

Ben exclaimed, "woah! Thanks!"

Tetrax smiled and said, "see you soon."

Technorg, "until we meet again!"

EightEight, "it's been a wild ride!"

Gluto, "goodbye!"

And with that, the ship took off into the air.

Ben, "well, after an adventure like that, I could go for a nice relaxing trip to a mall."

Gwen smiled at her cousin.

That's when the group turned to hear a radio bulletin from the Rustbucket that said, "attention! Some sort of zombie creatures are attacking the local mall!"

Hope, "how much you wanna get those are zombie aliens?"

Xylene, "most likely Ormerowons."

Hope, "great. What's next? Alien vampires?!"

Ben glanced at his family, "well, looks like we're going into overtime."

Ben jumps onto his hoverboard as Gwen and Hope jump onto a purple magic platform. Xylene begins floating as Max activates a laser gun.

As they all run forward, Ben activates the Omnitrix and yells, "IT'S HERO TIME!"

Ultimatrix 105: thanks. Interesting ideas. Rose is definitely a good choice. Stephanie Brown I feel like should be with Tim Drake. And I think Cass would probably be a bit too young for Ben to date. And while I like Katana's design in Brave and the Bold, I much prefer her design from DC Super Hero Girls. She looks a little too young in the former. Also, I have no idea what the heck Danmachi is, but it doesn't really sound like my cup of tea.

modernnewsies123: thanks. I'm glad you like it so much. 1. What do you mean no episodes after? Secret of the Omnitrix is set between seasons 3 and 4. So I'm obviously gonna do season 4. 2. Yes, I plan for the Feedback storyline to be a big part of ending the classic series before I start up Alien Force. 3. Race Against Time will most likely be after the Negative 10.

Guest10: 1. Yep, Hope would hate Albedo and Eon. 2. I plan to rework Race Against Time into the story. 3. I'm not sure how the heck the Galactic Monster Arc is gonna go, since I haven't seen much of Omniverse aside from the big arcs. And yeah, Ben 10: Multiverse is another story I have planned that keeps Ben and Julie as a couple, with them fighting a LOT less. And I also don't have anything against Kai, but when you compare her to Julie, Water and the other romance options Ben had, she doesn't really hold a candle. I've read some of Ben 10 Guardians. I thought his stories were pretty good and gave me ideas for the story. I plan for Ben, Julie and Rook to basically be the new team of the story, where Julie is taking a break from tennis for a while. Anyway, I'm glad you're enjoying this story.

Ushindi: I'm glad your enjoying the chapter so much. 1. FastTrack, Overflow, that X shaped alien, Walkatrout, Molestache, and maybe the Wurst. 2. Yes, that episode will be much different. Vikgax would've won the fight with Ben in this timeline, so it makes a lot more sense for HIM to take over instead of Hex. 3. I plan on doing that for the arc where Ben meets the alternate versions of himself.

Omnicaster: most of season 4. I've been retelling almost the entire show afterall. Negative 10 will have some heavy changes.

Guest: I think it's supposed to start off season 4, given one of the openings introduces EyeGuy, which is the opening I chose for this one. I'm glad you liked Technorg coming back. As well as EightEight and the connection I gave between Azmuth and the Plumbers. I'm happy you caught all the Easter eggs I threw in. I'm thinking of doing some of the flashback episodes in order near the end of classic. And yeah, Eon's backstory will be an evil version of Ben who is constantly trying to rule the multiverse.

Zeuzano: well I don't really plan to do anything with the Ormerowons for now. I did throw in that joke though.
