Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

It started with an alien device that did what it did. It stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid. Now he's got super powers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Ben 10! 45. Chapter 45

Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

Chapter 45: The Negative 10, Part 1

We see a helicopter flying through a city as two thieves have taken control of it. One is piloting as the other is looking into a bag filled with jewels.

He said, "nice job. We got the loot and made a clean getaway!"

"Oh, I wouldn't say that!"

The thieves looked to see Stinkfly flying alongside the helicopter.

Stinkfly, "the name's Stinkfly, and this joyride is over! Land this thing, now!"

Thief 1, "get ready to get squashed!"

He pulled out a rifle and started firing on Stinkfly.

The alien bug flew around, easily dodging the bullets as the helicopter gave chase through the city for a few minutes.

Stinkfly, "wanna play rough, hmm? Now you see me, now ya don't!"

Stinkfly shot several globs of goo at the helicopter! It hit the windshield and then the blades atop the flying machine, making it spiral towards a lake!

The thief piloting yelled, "we're out of control! We're gonna crash!"

The thieves quickly grabbed some parachutes and jumped out of the helicopter as it crashed into the water!

But the thieves weren't safe as Stinkfly swooped in and grabbed both thieves, tearing them from the parachutes. He then flew down to the road and tossed the men to the ground as several police cars surrounded them!

Stinkfly flew to the top of a nearby building just as the watch blinked red and turned him back into Ben.

Ben smirked as he saw the thieves getting taken into custody.

Ben, "man, this is almost too easy. Wonder if there are any other villains out there who can offer up a challenge…."

But what Ben didn't see was a lone figure watching him from another rooftop.

It was Rojo, clad in her red armor!

She smirked and whispered, "ask, and you shall receive…."

….

We see Max escorting a kid about a year younger than Ben and Gwen towards the Rustbucket. He was short with bright blue eyes, freckles, Shaggy blonde hair, wearing a purple jersey with a 3 on it and black shorts.

This is Cooper Daniels. Another kid whose family was friends with the Tennyson's.

Cooper, "thanks for driving me back home from summer camp, Mr. Tennyson. With my parents out of town and my grandpa sick with the flu, I thought I might have to walk home."

Max chuckled, "well, I'm glad your grandpa called. Afterall, what're friends for? And I'm sure you're gonna like Ben, Gwen and Hope. They're a lot of fun."

Max opened the door to the Rustbucket.

Max, "everyone, this is Cooper. Grandson of an old Plumber buddy of mine."

Xylene, in her natural form, "greetings Cooper."

Hope was doing the dishes as Gwen tidied up some Mr. Smoothie cups and Ben was feeding Chester.

Ben, Gwen and Hope all said, "hi."

Gwen shook Cooper's hand, "I'm Gwen, nice to meet ya."

Cooper blushed with a big smile.

Hope whispered, "this should be interesting…."

….

We see a tour group within Fort Knox as a tour guide shows the vault being heavily guarded.

She says, "Fort Knox is proud to be home of the federal gold reserve, where over one hundred billion dollars worth of gold billions is stored. Of course, for obvious security reasons, the actual vault is off limits to the public. Now if you'll all follow me, we'll continue our tour…."

The tour guide led most of the group off, wave three people wearing trench coats and fedora hats that were standing there.

A guard said, "halt. This is a restricted area. You'll be escorted back to the public area."

The three figures tossed off their trench coats and hats to reveal themselves.

First was Phil, wearing a completely black version of his old Plumber suit. Kane, clad in a gray and black version of his Kangaroo Commando suit. And Zombozo, who was grinning from ear to ear.

Kane, "gentlemen, there's no need for violence…."

Zombozo smirked as he pressed the side of his hat to show a strange hypno wheel pop out of it….

….

We see the Rustbucket driving along as Cooper gets to know the others.

Cooper, "and I've always been good with computers and stuff like that."

Gwen, "cool. You're free to use my computer during the trip."

Cooper blushed and said, "thanks."

Hope and Ben smirked.

Xylene, "Ben. Gwen. Hope. Come up here, quickly."

The three gave confused looks as they went to the front of the RV.

Max pointed at footage of the vault from Fort Knox burned open, "take a look at this. We just picked this footage up from Fort Knox."

The footage then showed Phil, Kane and Zombozo exiting the vault! Kane then shot the camera!

Xylene, "wait…. Phil?!"

Gwen, "how'd he get out of the Null Void?"

Hope, "how'd Kane North get out of prison?"

Ben, "and how the heck is Zombozo back from the dead?!"

Cooper asked as he walked up to the others, "what's up with those guys on the video?"

Ben, "old 'friends.'"

Max, "Phil was an old Plumber like Xylene, me and your grandpa. But he went rogue and ended up in the Null Void."

Gwen, "Kane North was a man trying to kill his brother and rival Tim Dean because they stole his ideas."

Ben, "and Zombozo was a clown who sucked the life out of people. He almost got Gwen…. But I stopped him. But I have no idea how he's back. He literally exploded into confetti!"

Xylene, "the question is…. Why are they at Fort Knox?"

….

We see the Rustbucket arrive at Fort Knox.

Max, "maybe Cooper should stay in here?"

Ben, "don't worry Grandpa, I'll keep an eye on him. He might wanna see the Omnitrix in action."

Gwen rolled her eyes as Hope chuckled.

….

The group made their way into the building as they looked around. But the place looked totally empty.

Ben, "where the heck is everyone?"

That's when the group found a very bizarre sight.

A few guards were there, acting like chickens on a farm.

Max, "they've all been hypnotized to think they're chickens."

Ben, "sounds like Zombozo's handiwork…."

The group then approached the vault, seeing the door melted open by some kind of laser.

Hope, "and North probably used one of his gadgets to open this up."

Suddenly, bullets started flying at the group!

Xylene formed a shield as they saw several hypnotized guards shooting at them. The group quickly hid behind a bunch of crates for cover.

Cooper, "why are they firing at us? We're the good guys!"

Gwen and Hope, "yeah, we get that a lot…."

That's when the group noticed the chicken-guards approaching the line of fire!

Ben, "those chickens are about to get fried!"

Ben quickly pulls down his wristband, dials up the watch, and in a flash of green light, transforms into XLR8!

Cooper, "wow! That's even cooler in person than how Max described it!"

XLR8, "you think that's cool? Watch this!"

XLR8 quickly used his super speed to run over and put the chicken-guards into some barrels where they couldn't get hurt before he ran up onto the catwalk where the other guards were.

XLR8, "I'm guessing the rest of you are hypnotized as well?"

The guards started shooting at XLR8.

XLR8, "yep! I should've guessed!"

He quickly dashed forward and knocked all the guards out!

Gwen, "this is a little new; since when could Zombozo hypnotize people? He couldn't do that last time…."

Max, "my guess is after he somehow came back, he was given or created some gadgets loosely based on that machine he used on people."

Suddenly, a large explosion hit the catwalk, knocking XLR8 to the ground in a daze.

Another guard approached the others with a rocket launcher! But before he could fire upon the group, a forklift barreled into him and another guard!

Everyone went wide-eyed as they turned to see Cooper standing by the other forklifts with a wrench in hand.

Hope, "how'd you do that?"

Cooper, "I told you guys I was good with machines."

XLR8 groaned and stood up as Gwen said, "nice work!"

Cooper smiled with a blush.

The group then made their way over to the vault, but were shocked to see all the gold still there!

Hope, "they didn't steal anything?"

XLR8, "why would Kane, Zombozo and Phil bother to break into the most secure bank in America and hypnotize all the guards…. And not steal anything?"

Cooper, "maybe they were after something else? Check this out!"

Everyone looked to see a hole burned into the floor.

XLR8 ran down and turned back into Ben as everyone followed him into a strange cavern of some kind.

Ben, "woah. What is this place?"

Max, "a blast from the past."

Xylene, "this is an old Plumber's base."

Ben, "like the one at Mount Rushmore?"

Max, "not exactly."

The group began to look around.

Xylene, "at the height of the Plumber's, some of these satellite complexes were established in various locations in the country. Like this one."

Max, "once we finally took down Vilgax the first time, these bases weren't needed anymore. So we shut them all down."

Xylene, "Phil must've led the others here."

Gwen, "but why would we team up with Zombozo and Kane? What're they after?"

Max, "I dunno. And that's what worries me…."

….

Back at the base of Dricoll and his team.

Kane held a large blue key of some kind and asked, "why the Hell did you send us to Fort Knox just to get this piece of crap?!"

Viktor grabbed the key, "this 'piece of crap', is very important."

Driscoll approached, "you have a problem with this?"

Kane, "yeah. Bad enough I get stuck with a zombie clown and some old fart."

Phil, "hey!"

Kane, "we pulled off the heist of a century, and we've got no gold to show for it!"

Zombozo mused, "I was just happy to have some fun with my new gadgets the good doctor helped me build."

Viktor, "you're most welcome."

Kane, "shaddup!"

Driscoll, "I find your lack of faith disturbing, Kangaroo Commando. Or shall I call you Kane?"

Kane, "call me boss. I want control of this operation!"

Driscoll, "allow me to cast my vote…."

Driscoll snapped his fingers.

Rojo emerged from the shadows and quickly used a cable to tie up Kane and tossed him into a wall. He groaned in pain.

Rojo, "God I love this tech…."

Dricoll, "now that that's settled, let's get back to the business at hand, shall we?"

….

We see the Rustbucket driving along the road…. With no-one behind the wheel!

Ben, "uh, Grandpa? Grandma? Whose driving?"

Max, "autopilot. Cooper rigged it up."

Xylene, "it's been a real work saver."

Cooper was tweaking some computer chips at the table with Chester on his shoulder.

Cooper, "my grandpa said the inside of my brain must look like a computer."

Max activated a small computerized map of the USA with red dots all over it.

Xylene, "these dots on the map represent all the closed Plumber facilities."

Hope, "hey look! The one in Seattle Washington is flashing!"

Max, "the alarm must've been triggered."

Xylene, "that can't be a coincidence."

Ben, "let's kick Phil and his partners' butts!"

Max, "unfortunately, turbo mode might not even be fast enough to get there in time."

Cooper, "well, while you guys were playing Tic Tac Toe, I took the liberty of improving the turbo boost systems a little."

Everyone quickly ran to their seats and buckled up.

Max, "okay, let's see if the ol' girl has some extra giddyup."

As he pressed one of the buttons, jet turbines emerged from the back end of the Rustbucket, and immediately, the RV started shooting through the streets like a rocket!

Ben, "he definitely has some skill!"

….

It was now getting dark out as the Rustbucket raced down the highway into Seattle.

Max, "we're coming up on downtown Seattle. We should probably set an anchor and slow this puppy down."

Cooper, "uh oh…."

Gwen, "please tell me you didn't forget the super duper brakes to go with the super duper boost?"

Hope, "we're gonna die!"

Ben, "hold on, I think I have an idea!"

Ben dials the watch and turns into Diamondhead! He quickly climbs through the door to the top of the RV, forming cleats to keep himself steady.

He tries creating a crystal road block, but the Rustbucket smashes through it with ease.

Diamondhead, "shit!"

Max, "Ben! I hate to bother you, but we could really use a break here!"

Diamondhead, "no problem!"

Diamondhead forms a large anchor and chain made out of crystals and throws it into the ground, tearing up the road, but managing to stop the RV in front of the Space Needle.

As DiamondHead jumps off of the RustBucket, he's suddenly tackled to the ground!

He looks up to see that it's Kevin on top of him!

DiamondHead, "Kevin?!"

Kevin, "surprise!"

The two grapple for a moment before Diamondhead is tossed away.

Kevin, "I'm gonna kill you!"

DiamondHead, "yeah, what else is new? All you've ever done since we met is try to kill me. And what have I done?!"

Kevin, "you've tried to-"

DiamondHead, "all I've ever wanted to do is be your friend! I wanted to help you Kevin! We all have. Grandpa Max, Gwen, Hope and me. All we've tried to do is to get you to stop doing all of this! What would your dad think?!"

Kevin, "don't you dare talk about him! You don't know anything about-"

DiamondHead, "Devin Levin?"

That shut Kevin up.

DiamondHead, "I know more than you think. Your dad gave his life to save my Grandpa's! And you honor his memory by trying to kill him and his grandkids?!"

Kevin, "shut up! You don't know me!"

DiamondHead, "I know you constantly lash out on people who care about you. I know you constantly cause trouble!"

Kevin, "I'm serious! Stop!"

Kevin didn't even notice that DiamondHead was getting closer.

DiamondHead, "I know that you push everyone away when things get tough. Cause just a little bit of love reminds you of what you've lost, and what else you could lose!"

Kevin actually had some tears in his eyes, as if her was remembering someone close, "SHUT! UP!"

DiamondHead, "I KNOW WHO YOU ARE KEVIN! BECAUSE YOU'RE ME!"

The two are face to face in a tense stare.

DiamondHead, "it's not too late to do the right thing Kevin. It's not too late to be friends."

DiamondHead holds his hand out in an offering. An offering to finally make things right.

Kevin gives a tear filled look as he closes his eyes and runs off!

DiamondHead, "Kevin! Wait!"

Diamondhead looks in the direction Kevin sped off before the others burst out of the RV.

Gwen, "we heard some commotion while we recovered from the speed. What happened?"

Diamondhead, "er, nothing…. So, what'd I tell ya? No problem."

Gwen, "tell that to the city work crew…."

That's when people began running and screaming out of a nearby building as a bunch of wasps fly into the air!

Diamondhead, "what the Hell?"

The flies then swarm together before dispersing to show Clancy standing there, glaring under his coat.

Gwen, "that's Clancy!"

Diamondhead, "the bug guy? I thought he was gone for good!"

Clancy snarled as he shot a ton of wasps out of his coat sleeves!

Diamondhead quickly formed a wall of crystals to keep the group safe from the wasps! Some of the wall was broken away by the sea of wasps as they flew off. Diamondhead then jumped out from cover and shot a ton of shards at Clancy! The crystal shards tore up his clothes to shreds!

The group now saw that he now looked like a bi-pedal bug man!

Gwen, "when the Hell did he turn into THAT?!"

Clancy roared ferally as he flew into the air, dodging more shards of crystals that Diamondhead shot at him!

Clancy then started spewing wasps out of his mouth, with which the group could barely avoid. Cooper was grabbed by a swarm of wasps and carried towards Clancy!

Hope and Gwen, "Galeus Disruptis!"

A small tornado blew the wasps away and carefully carried Cooper to the ground as Clancy literally turned tail and flew off!

Cooper, "thanks. You saved my life."

Gwen, "just trying to help a friend."

Hope, "yeah, what're friends for?"

….

The group then entered an elevator in the building and began to go up.

Max, "the Plumber's annex is at the top."

Xylene, "Phil and his team might still be up there."

But as the elevator went higher and higher, it suddenly began to shake!

Gwen, "what's that noise?"

Diamondhead, "it's coming from on top of the elevator!"

Suddenly, a red armored hand smashed through and ripped the top off!

Everyone gasped to see Rojo there!

Gwen, "Rojo?"

Max, "how'd she get her alien tech back?"

Rojo smirked, "a little help from some new friends. And sorry, this elevator is off limits. Going down!"

Rojo pulled out her sword and slashed the ropes holding the elevator up!

Rojo laughed as she was pulled up and the group began to drop down!

Everyone held on for dear life as Diamondhead yelled, "emergency stop!"

He stabbed his arms through the elevator and eventually managed to slow their descent.

Everyone sighed in relief.

Diamondhead then used his powers to create a crystal platform and carried everyone up to the right floor.

There is a large hole in the wall.

In the room, searching the place, were Hex, Kane and Rojo.

Hope, "Uncle Hex?!"

Ben, "Kane North?"

Gwen, "is there anybody who doesn't hate us involved in this thing?"

Rojo, "you should've seen the looks on their faces when I cut the main cable. Hehe. Priceless."

Kane, "how come you got to kill them instead of me?"

Rojo, "just lucky, I guess? Hehe."

Kane growled as Hex said, "enough of your bickering. We must find what we came for. If I know my niece and her friends, they'll be back, and very pissed."

Hex had no idea how right he was.

Diamondhead, "we'll divide up and surprise them."

"Hello, Tennyson."

Everyone went wide-eyed and turned around to see Animo wearing an armored bat-like suit as he stands next to a giant bat!

Animo, "you're overdue for an appointment with Doctor Animo!"

The bat lets out a sonic screech that knocks Diamondhead through the hole and to the edge of the Space needle.

Max, "Ben!"

Xylene, "are you okay?"

That's when the villains surrounded them!

Rojo, "you're still alive?! You're making me look bad!"

Rojo and Kane shot lasers at the group!

Gwen and Hope, "Themorsis Nebuli!"

They form magic pink shields that make the blasts bounce into the air!

Hex, "an immovable force spell. Is THIS the best you can do, child? You have had my book of spells for HOW long? Clearly I did not teach you well enough. If I had, you would be far past a pathetic spell like THAT."

Gwen and Hope growled as they ran at Hex and Rojo.

Diamondhead, Max and Xylene ran at Animo and Kane.

Cooper stood there awkwardly as he saw the fighting began.

Kane lunged at Max, but he picked him up in a fireman's carry and hoisted him behind his back before throwing him back towards the building.

Kane thought, 'how the fuck is he that strong?!'

Diamondhead began shooting crystals at Animo and his bat! The bat let out another sonic screech, but Xylene quickly formed a shield to protect her grandson.

Clancy then made his reappearance and attacked Max!

During this, Hope and Hex were continuously shooting balls of magical energy at one another! Gwen was dueling Rojo, and was able to get the upper hand on her by performing a spell that sent her flying right next to Kane. The two slowly got up and saw a rather large key-like device on the ground. They smirked excitedly.

Rojo grabbed the key and ran out with Kane as she yelled, "we got it! Let's go!"

Max and Xylene saw this!

Max, "the key…."

Xylene, "of course!"

Max and Xylene, "somebody stop Rojo!"

Diamondhead forms a large pillar of crystals that knocks Animo and his bat off the building, screaming!

He then ran forward and tackled Rojo to the ground!

Diamondhead forms his hand into a blade as he glares down at Rojo, "hand it over, Rojo, or you're getting a piercing where the sun doesn't shine!"

But, as bad luck would have it, Diamondhead turns back into Ben!

Ben gave a nervous wave and chuckle before he grabbed the key and tried to run off with it! But Rojo grabbed his leg, making him let go of the key! Cooper quickly jumped up and grabbed the key!

"Hand it over, kid!"

Everyone went wide-eyed as Phil jumped down from the top of the needle!

Max and Xylene, "Phil…."

Phil, "nice to see ya again, Max. Xylene. If you'll excuse me, I've gotta take this key from Daniels' grandson…."

Cooper, "you want this so bad? Go and get it!"

Cooper threw the key off the building!

Cooper smiled proudly before Phil snickered and pointed behind him.

Cooper turned to see Animo back on his bat, holding the key in his hand!

Cooper, "uh oh…."

Phil, "well, we'd love to stay and chat….", the bat grabbed his shoulders, "but we've gotta fly!"

Rojo smirked as she held Ben by the foot before Clancy flew over and grabbed her!

Kane activated a jetpack in his suit and flew after them.

Hope and Hex glared at one another before he used a spell to flt after the others.

Animo, "I wish we had time to teach you a lesson you so richly deserve, Benjamin, but we have a date to rule the world!"

The villains flew off.

Clancy started drooling on Rojo.

Rojo, "hey! How come I'm stuck with the ride from Mr. Maggot, when I'M Driscoll's right hand assassin?!"

Kane smirked, "just lucky, I guess."

Rojo glared at Kane.

Max and Xylene had horrified looks as the group watched the villains flee.

….

We see the Rustbucket speeding off again.

Xylene, "why didn't we figure it out sooner?!"

Ben, "what's so important about that key anyway? Why does Phil want it?"

Max, "years ago, the Plumbers, including me, Devin, Phil, your cousin Joel, and Xylene, helped a race of aliens known as Conductoids stop Malware when he attacked their home. As a show of thanks, one of them gave us a key to a device known as Sub-Energy. A subatomic power source so powerful that it made Nuclear power plants look like wind up toys ya get at Mr. Smoothie in comparison."

Xylene, "despite its enormous potential for good, it was too unstable and dangerous to use. The Plumber's decided it should be put away for safe keeping within a super secure force field located in the Mt. Rushmore complex."

Ben, "it always comes back to Rushmore…."

Gwen, "so the only way to shut down the forcefield is with those two devices shaped like keys? The ones stolen from here and Fort Knox?"

Max, "we're afraid so…."

Ben, "Phil must've orchestrated this whole thing!"

Xylene, "I'm not sure if it was just him. Phil wouldn't have the resources to steal water from an aquarium. Whoever released him from the Null Void and got all of these people together must have knowledge of top secret plumber intel…."

….

We see Kevin walking through some woods, looking deep in thought as his body started turning back to normal.

The words Ben said kept ringing in his head over and over again.

The last words that echoed into his head were, "not too late."

Kevin sighed and asked himself, "Kwarrel…. What do I do…."

Kevin looked down at a small gray earing in the palm of his hand.

Kevin grows a determined look as he dashed through the woods, forming back into his mutant form in order to speed up his race against time...

….

That's when the group slowed down at Mt. Rushmore.

Ben, "guess we beat them here-"

A laser suddenly hit the RV, making it spin and stop on the side of the road.

Ben, "me and my big mouth…."

Everyone looked out the windows of the Rustbucket to see Dricoll's entire team, minus Kevin.

Driscoll, "welcome! I wish we could offer you all a swift demise…. But alas, I believe my new partners have other plans…."

Viktor cracked his knuckles as Zombozo laughed up a storm.

Driscoll, "I am the Forever King! And this…. Is the Negative Ten!"

Ben, "oh man…."

sonusiraj975: Let me clarify a few things. 1. Lumi isn't Hope's daughter biologically. Her hair is brown with a blue streak in it. Not white or silver. She was one of the baby Necrofriggian's born in Alien Force who was given a human form thanks to her own Omnitrix. 2. And while Yuri looks like his dad, which means he looks like Ben, he was cloned from Albedo's DNA. So he is a clone of Albedo, not Ben technically.
