Ben 10: Alien Rebirth

Chapter 46: The Negative 10, Part 2

Ben listed off, "Animo, Dr. Viktor, Rojo, Zombozo, Phil, Kane, Hex and Clancy! Oh man!"

Gwen, "looks like Kevin is a no show."

Hope, "maybe what you said got to him?"

Ben, "maybe."

Cooper, "who's the metal head?"

Ben, "looks like a Forever Knight. But what's with the horns and cape?"

Gwen, "since we took out Enoch, maybe he's their new leader?"

Max, "or maybe Enoch was never really in charge?"

Xylene, "we can ponder this later…. They're coming!"

Zombozo runs at the RustBucket and punches it, but gets electrocuted and sent flying back into the cliff.

Rojo shot a laser at it, but nothing happened. A laser then shot out of the front, hitting Rojo and sending her flying into the cliffside!

Hex then used his magic to send a multitude of boulders at the RustBucket, but like the previous attacks; nothing!

Clancy growled as he sent his bugs flying at the RV, but the moment the bugs touched the RustBucket, they were electrocuted!

Hope, "that was WEAK."

Driscoll, "wait! Do not open that vehicle!"

Kane, "let 'er rip!"

Hex then flew towards the door of the RustBucket and he used his magic to tear the door from the van!

Cooper, Hope, Ben and Gwen stood there in shock.

Kane, "payback time!"

He tried shooting the kids, only to discover they were holograms!

Kane, "what the-?!"

The hologram device was blinking.

Rojo, "holograms! We've been tricked!"

The device started blinking rapidly.

Phil, "oh shit…."

Then the device exploded!

We see the Tennyson's, Cooper and Hope hiding behind some bushes. Ben is absent.

Max, "we better hurry before they figure out what happened-"

The group turned to see Viktor there.

Gwen, "I think they just did!"

Viktor cracked his knuckles and smirked…. Until he felt a hand tap his shoulder. He turned and was subsequently thrown into the side of the RV as the other villains were recovering.

The culprit; FourArms.

FourArms, "nobody likes a show off, Dr. Bitchslap!"

Zombozo, "there they are!"

Clancy sent a huge wave of wasps at them!

Hope quickly chants a spell freezing the wasps mid air!

Hope, "hey freaks, try this for your eyes!"

Hope unfroze the wasps and sent them flying into the villains eyes!

The villains all shouted in pain as they were stung in the eyes!

Hope giggled mischievously.

FourArms jumped into the fray and yelled to the others, "meet me at the hatch!"

The others nod their heads.

The others ran off as FourArms engaged the enemy….

….

Max, Xylene, Hope, Gwen and Cooper have just run into a clearing.

Zombozo suddenly jumped in front of Cooper as he trailed behind the others!

Zombozo, "you're getting slee-"

Cooper punched him in the nose, sending the undead clown onto his back as Cooper quickly caught up with the others.

The group were keeping their eyes open for any signs of the other villains.

That's when a loud screech was heard! Everyone ducked as Animo and his bat swooped down, failing to catch them.

Xylene then spotted a huge rock. That gave her an idea.

Xylene, "Hope! Gwen! I need some help here!"

Hope and Gwen quickly ran over to help Xylene. They began to use their individual power to lift up the rock.

Animo and his bat were getting closer.

Xylene, "now!"

The three girls threw the rock towards Animo and his bat!

The rock hit Animo and his bat sending them flying far away!

Hope, "that won't stop them for long."

Max, "there's too many of 'em. Even if we can get to the entrance by the time we can find and open the hatch, they'll be all over us like a stink on a skunk!"

Gwen, "what do we do?"

Cooper had an idea and said as he ran forward, "follow me!"

The group began to follow Cooper. He ran over to a cliff and held his hand to it.

His eyes began to glow as the hatch appeared and opened up!

Max, "you found it!"

Hope, "nice work!"

Gwen, "I know you said you were good with machines, but wow!"

Cooper blushed as the group ran inside right as Animo came back for another attack!

The group quickly ran inside the hatch.

The hatch quickly shut, causing Animo and his bat to comically crash into it!

They slide down a chute and soon land in the base.

Max ran to the controls.

Gwen, "who was that guy leading them?"

Xylene, "we recognize the voice…."

Max, "Richard Driscoll. He was a mentor of mine after I was dubbed an official Plumber. Driscoll took me under his wing. Claimed he saw something in me; wanted to help me become a great Plumber. For three years, we worked together…. But the longer it went on, the more I noticed how brutal his tactics were to alien convicts and perps. He even made me feel bad for Malware of all people. One day…. I caught him stealing alien technology and weapons. He also planned to use the Sub-Energy for his own purposes. He went on the run soon after. Us, Phil, Betty Jean, Gordon, Rook Kai, Wes Green, Palliday and Kevin's father were tasked with bringing him in. We spent weeks tracking him down. We managed to track him down to London, and brought him in. We brought him before the Plumber High Council. But having served them for many decades, they presented him with two choices. A firing squad or exile. Driscoll called them out as cowards, fools for not using the Sub-Energy to the fullest extent of its capabilities. They responded, 'you are a fool Driscoll, the Sub-Energy is too unstable.' Driscoll was exiled, and has never been seen again…. Until now."

Hope pointed at the cameras, "and now he's leading his team after Ben!"

They watch FourArms fighting Clancy on a screen.

FourArms punches the ground and it sends Clancy into the air.

FourArms jumps towards Clancy and quickly punches him, sending him flying!

FourArms, "c'mon, wimps! I'll beat ya with three arms tied behind my back!"

Hex sends two small stone creatures at FourArms. The four armed alien quickly grabs them and smashes them into the ground!

Driscoll stands there as FourArms approaches him, cracking his knuckles before Rojo jumps in front of him, sword drawn.

Rojo, "time for a rematch, ya little shit…."

FourArms smirks as he calmly walks over to Rojo.

Rojo smirked before she turned her sword into a staff via nano-tech of some kind and sent FourArms flying into the cliffside!

A few seconds later, he turns back into Ben!

Ben, "son of a-!"

Ben is surrounded by the villains. As they are all ready to attack, they are all suddenly blasted away by a huge blast of electricity!

They all turn to see Kevin standing there, in human form with his hands sparking with electricity as he's holding a pack of batteries.

Kevin, "get away from him."

Animo, "you filthy little traitor!"

Ben runs over to Kevin as he yells, "thanks! Run!"

The two boys begin running towards the base as a chute opens up and the Negative 10, now 9, chases after them!

….

Inside the base….

We see Max grabbing an explosive.

Max, "Gwen, a little help."

….

A laser starts shooting at the villains as the boys run for the hatch!

Ben, "thank you, Grandpa!"

The boys jump down the chute!

….

Ben and Kevin soon land in the base.

Max, "it needs a push."

He throws the explosive.

Gwen, "Gallius Disruptus!"

The spell creates a strong gust of a wind, sending the explosive up the hatch.

Kevin smirked, "nice one, cutey."

Gwen blushed deeply with an irritated expression before she said, "you better not make me throw you back out to the others…."

….

Rojo, "you're not getting away that easily!"

She blasted a hole in the hatch.

Kane pushed past her and yelled, "outta the way! I'm gonna finish what I started at the studio!"

Kane jumped in, but was promptly thrown back out when the explosive went out, groaning in pain.

Driscoll looks up at a camera and then destroys it.

Driscoll, "nothing will stop this little homecoming…."

….

Ben, "phew, glad that's over."

Kevin, "you wish, this is only step three in Driscoll's plan."

Ben, "Driscoll?"

Max performed a test that analyzed Dricoll's voice from the armor and an older recording of himself. It was 100% a match.

Xylene, "it's him alright. Driscoll was a former Plumber and mentor of mine who was caught stealing alien tech. He was exiled. And it looks like he must have joined the Forever Knights and worked his way up to become their king."

Ben, "so he and Phil knew all the information they needed to carry out this whole operation. It was an inside job."

Kevin, "that's pretty much exactly what was going on when he recruited us. But there was something he didn't realize; I went through some changes in the Null Void."

Ben, "like what?"

Kevin gave a sad look as he held the earring in his pocket.

Gwen, "you can tell us later. We've gotta worry about Driscoll."

Max, "he knows Mount Rushmore like the back of his hand, inside and out. He'll find a way in…. It's only a matter of time…."

….

We then see Cooper working on some robots.

Gwen, "how's it going?"

Cooper, "good. The security drones are almost ready."

Gwen, "I have to know. How did you open that entrance hatch without even laying a finger on it?"

Cooper, "sometimes, if I concentrate real hard, I can see inside machines and junk like that. It's kind of like a wi-fi in my head."

Gwen said, "that is so cool!"

Cooper, "not really. It gives me a major headache."

Cooper finished up working on a robot and threw a can into the air.

The robot quickly shot the can to pieces.

Max, "nice job, Cooper."

Max used an alien exo-suit Cooper got fixed up for him to lift a large object onto a barricade they made.

Xylene, "now we just need some Pyronite heat…."

….

A few minutes later….

Heatblast melted the barricade together to make it harder to get through before turning back into Ben.

Ben, "I'd like to see those guys break through that."

Cooper, "I wouldn't."

Kevin, "that feeling is very mutual."

Max, "we've done all we can here. I want to double-check the sub-energy security field."

Xylene, "good idea. We don't wanna take any chances."

….

The group soon entered the room where the Sub-Energy was located.

Cooper, "woah. A real force field?"

Max, "too bad Driscoll has the keys to shut it off."

But Ben was confused. He didn't see anything in the force field. Neither did the other kids.

Kevin, "where the Hell is it?"

Max said as he pressed a button, "the force field is just a cloaking device."

A bunch of strange glasses popped up.

Max, "here put these on."

Everyone did so, hearing some strange static.

Gwen, "what's with the static?"

Max, "the goggles amplify the sound of the force field."

Max knelt down to help Gwen as he explained, "the knob on the side adjusts the volume."

Soon, everyone saw the Sub-Energy!

A small yellow orb in a canister.

Ben, "that dinky little thing?"

Kevin, "that's the Sub-Energy Driscoll was talking about?"

Max, "we know it doesn't look that much, but that 'dinky little thing' is more powerful than the sun. This thing could probably power ten thousand Omnitrix's."

Xylene, "but if you were to mishandle it, that thing could blow Canada off the face of the Earth."

….

We see Max placing some devices on some tanks.

Kevin was playing tic tac toe with Ben as Gwen kept glancing at the former member of the Negative 10.

That's when a red light began beeping on the controls.

Gwen, what is it?"

Max, "motion sensor."

Suddenly, the wall burst apart!

Animo was riding a Mutant Prairie Dog with Viktor beside him.

Animo, "the doctor's are in!"

The Mutant Prairie dog's tail strikes Gwen and Max, sending them flying!

Xylene and Ben, "Max/Grandpa!"

Cooper and Kevin, "Gwen!"

Everyone looked at Kevin and Cooper for a moment. They both blushed.

Ben quickly dialed up the watch and turned into Wildmutt!

Wildmutt quickly ran towards the mutant Prairie dog! He tackled the beast, sending Animo flying into Viktor as he desperately fought off the mutant beast!

Xylene and Hope were fighting Viktor, while Max was holding Animo.

Max, "call off bucktooth before I send you to a real doctor!"

That's when the rest of Driscoll and his team burst into the room.

Max, "Cooper! The security droids!"

The robots began to surround Driscoll and his team. But then, Driscoll pressed a button on his helmet that made the visit to red. The robots began to point their weapons at our heroes!

Driscoll, "I love surprises. Don't you, Max?"

Max and Xylene quickly threw down some smoke bombs, blinding the robots and the villains for a moment!

Max, "retreat to the lower level!"

Wildmutt slashed a robot to pieces as Gwen used the spell, "Stingu Invisibus", to blow another one up.

Kevin grabbed a wall and covered himself in the metal of it before dragging Cooper along and saying, "move it, slow poke!"

The group began to run across the bridge.

Wildmutt destroyed the last of the robots before joining the others as they ran across the bridge.

Max uses a detonator to blow up part of the bridge just as Wildmutt jumps across it and slides into the Sub-Energy room with the others.

The doors then close.

Driscoll, "we need a detour."

….

Gwen, "why did those security drones attack us?"

Hope, "it looked like Driscoll used a device in his armor to reprogram them."

Cooper, "that Zombozo guy tried to hypnotize me while we were running away, but the wi-fi in my head makes me immune to that stuff."

Wildmutt then turned back into Ben.

Ben, "lucky for us."

Max, "no matter what happens to us, we can't let Driscoll, Phil or any of them get the Sub-Energy."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

The group had to get ready for the big battle.

Cooper remembered the design of Kane's armor and had an idea for when they entered the room.

Max put on an Exo-suit.

Xylene lifts up some debris with her telekinesis.

Gwen and Hope activate their magic.

Kevin covers himself in metal.

And Ben dials up the watch and transforms into EyeGuy just as the Negative 10 members burst into the room.

Driscoll, "there is no place left to run, Tennysons…."

EyeGuy, "who said anything about running, metal mouth? Bring it on!"

The groups then ran at each other!

Max punched the mutant prairie dog back.

Xylene starts throwing things at Phil as he dodges the attacks. Cooper threw his arms forward and took apart Kane's armor, leaving him in only a white sleeveless shirt and pink hearted boxers! Kane squeaked out in shock. He flopped onto the ground in pain as Cooper formed his own armor and began fighting Clancy! Viktor shot lighting at Kevin, but he was able to absorb it and sent it flying back at Viktor, sending him into the wall!

EyeGuy sent a blast from his chest that sent Zombozo flying across the room.

Gwen and Hope were confronted by Hex.

Hex, "let's see if that book has taught you anything…."

All three magic users yelled, "Mercuta Verditis!"

Their magics' collided with one another! Red and pink magic clashed against one another.

Xylene had just started fighting Kane as he came at her with a baseball bat as Driscoll, Phil and Rojo approached the Sub-Energy.

But then, Max stood in their path.

Max, "I'd say it's nice to see you and Phil again, Driscoll, but I'd be lying."

Driscoll, "I'm flattered you or Xylene remember me, Max."

Phil, "by the way, have you met Rojo?"

Rojo kicked Max away and began to fight him.

Hex and the girls continued to face off.

Hex, "you cannot best me, impudent children!"

Some feedback from their magic flew off and hit Zombozo's top hat! It caught on fire, making him scream like a little girl and run around trying to put the flames out.

Rojo kept slashing at the mechanical limbs of Max's Exo-suit.

EyeGuy was shooting at Clancy.

Clancy flew around to avoid EyeGuy's shots.

EyeGuy managed a shot that sent Clancy flying across the room.

Animo then popped up on his mutant prairie dog.

Animo, "I hope you enjoy this nice tender cut of Tennyson, my pet!"

EyeGuy then blasted the mutant beast, sending Animo crashing to the ground.

Kevin has just absorbed another lightning blast from Viktor and then shot him with it, sending him flying into the wall, and into Kane!

Kane, "ugh…. I quit…."

Hex then stopped his attack and unleashed three stone creatures!

Gwen and Hope groaned, "not again!"

EyeGuy stepped in front of the girls.

But, like clockwork, the watch blinks red and he turns back into Ben.

Ben groaned, "sometimes…. I hate this fucking watch."

Xylene yelled as she used her telekinesis to throw Zombozo into the ceiling, "Ben! Language!"

Ben, "sorry Grandma!"

Ben ran out of the way of the stone creatures.

The creatures tried to lunge at the girls, but Ben blasted two with a laser gun as Cooper smashed the third under his armored feet.

Ben, "all bite and no bark."

Cooper, "that was easy."

Hope sets her own stone creatures after Zombozo as Viktor keeps shooting lightning at Kevin, who keeps dodging.

Rojo has just thrown Max to the ground as Driscoll and Phil disabled the force field!

Driscoll grabbed the Sub-Energy canister as he said, "now I shall be the Forever King of the world!"

Max, "don't be a fool, Driscoll!"

Xylene, "Phil, Driscoll, you know the Sub-Energy is too unstable!"

Driscoll, "funny…. Those are the exact words the Plumber's said to me when they kicked me out. Come Rojo, Viktor, we must act now. Phil, why don't you and the others have some fun…."

Phil turned to the other villains and said, "you heard him, let's have some fun…."

Driscoll, Viktor and Rojo left as the group was surrounded by the villains.

Kevin whispered, "any bright ideas?"

Ben, "just one. So, which of you guys is second in command after Rojo and Viktor?"

Phil, "oh please, we wouldn't call them second in command."

Cooper, "but they did just leave with Driscoll. If they ain't, then who is?"

Animo, "it's obviously me."

Kane, "say wha-?"

Ben, "yeah, we all know that Animo's next in charge."

Hex, "he most certainly is not!"

Gwen, "agreed. Hex is the one with all the potential."

Hope, "oh please! My uncle doesn't hold a candle to Phil!"

Phil, "yeah! I knew where all this tech was!"

Animo, "so did Driscoll. That doesn't make YOU the leader!"

Kevin, "yeah. Phil, Shmil. Zombozo clearly has all the brains."

Zombozo, "well, I don't like to brag, but-"

Hex, "bragging is all you ever do!"

Hex, "enough! I am the most powerful one here!"

Animo, "oh please. All you've got is a bunch of hocus pocus!"

The villains began bickering with each other as Max whispered to Ben, "Ben, stop the Forever King!"

Ben sneaks off to stop Driscoll.

He then sees a glass case full of larger guns and grins.

….

Driscoll, Rojo and Viktor exit the place, approaching what looks like a tank.

Driscoll, "our chariot awaits…."

But suddenly, a laser hits the tank, blowing it to smithereens!

Everyone looks up to see Ben holding the rifle on a cliff ledge.

Ben, "your trip's been canceled!"

Driscoll, "as you wish…."

Viktor shoots a bolt of electricity that destroys Ben's rifle!

Ben, "shit!"

Driscoll, "you and your family have been a thorn in my side for too long, Tennyson!"

Driscoll holds aloft the now pink Sub-Energy and slowly inserts it into the chest of his suit!

Driscoll's suit begins to glow with the Sub-Energy!

Rojo and Viktor stepped back as Driscoll shot a beam of energy near the top of the mountain, making dozens of large rocks fall towards Ben!

Ben quickly dialed up and transformed into an alien as the rocks covered him!

….

Back inside of the base….

The villains had begun to fight one another until Phil yelled, "wait! Why are we fighting each other?! We should be fighting them!"

Kane, "he's right! Get 'em!"

The villains ran at our heroes!

Max and Xylene, "now!"

Hope and Gwen, "Autem Forcems!"

The keys turn and manage to trap the villains!

Max, "that'll hold them long enough for us to escape!"

The heroes began to run out of there!

….

We see Driscoll, Rojo and Viktor walk up towards the pile of rocks.

Upchuck suddenly burst out of the ground!

He shot a ball of energy at Driscoll and the others, who barely dodged it.

Driscoll, "the Omnirix won't be able to help you this time!"

Rojo jumps up and starts throwing shurikens at Upchuck. But the diminutive alien swallows them all and shoots them back at Rojo! They hit certain parts of her armor. Vitals parts that make it short out!

Rojo gets electrocuted slightly and falls over with a groan.

Upchuck, "now who's seeing stars? Ha!"

Upchuck then notices Viktor running towards him.

Viktor shoots as much lightning as he can at Upchuck. Upchuck opens his mouth wide, and the lightning fills his cheeks to bursting. He holds it in for a moment before shooting it right back at Viktor! The bolts hit him point blank and send him flying through the air like a bullet, completely out of sight!

Upchuck, "oh yeah! I sure sent him flying like a baseball!"

Driscoll, "you insolent little pest!"

Driscoll shot a burst of Sub-Energy that hit Upchuck right in the stomach!

Suddenly, he turns back into Ben!

Ben, "what the?! No! No! I need this thing to-"

But miraculously, the watch was at full power! It was actually glowing yellow for a moment before a new silhouette appeared on the watch!

Ben, "come on! Give me something good!"

Ben slammed down and began to transform into the new alien!

We then see what the new alien was. It was tall and lanky, with the Omnitrix on his chest. Their skin was charcoal in color, with small plugs along various parts of his body, including on the top of all eight fingers, (including thumbs), a plug on the end of their tail, and one on the end of each of two long tendrils on their head.

The alien had one large green eye and a semi-permanent grin on his face.

Ben looked down at himself and said, "woah. This guy feels…. Powerful."

That's right when everyone else showed up to see the fight going on, frozen in shock.

Max, Xylene, Phil and Driscoll all yelled, "A CONDUCTOID?!"

Ben, "is that the name of this alien? It needs a better name."

Driscoll, "you're not gonna get a chance!"

Driscoll began shooting as much Sub-Energy at Ben as he could! But Ben threw his hands forward and seemed to absorb the energy into his very fingertips!

Driscoll, "NO! NO! NONONONO!"

Sparks of Sub-Energy began to fly all over the place!

One set Kane's undies ablaze, making him scream as he stopped, dropped and rolled! One hit Clancy, setting his arms and legs on fire! He screamed and flew off, trying to find a way to put himself out!

And one hit Zombozo, sending him flying off like Viktor had!

Ben, "woah! Talk about some…. Feedback…."

Ben gave a smug grin as Driscoll kept pouring on as much Sub-Energy as he could!

Driscoll, "I refuse to lose!"

Ben, "well, I've got some feedback for ya, Driscoll…."

Somehow, Ben, naming this alien Feedback, was able to absorb every last ounce of Sub-Energy Driscoll had!

Driscoll looked down at his now powerless suit in horror!

Feedback smirked and said, "you lose!"

Feedback unleashed the Sub-Energy, sending Driscoll crashing into the mountainside, as well as knocking his remaining teammates into a cliffside, unconscious!

Feedback,"oh yeah!"

As the Sub-Energy dissipated, Feedback jumped up and fist-pumped.

Feedback, "Feedback rules!"

The others all ran to Feedback as the watch blinked red and turned him back into Ben.

Ben, "so what did you think?"

Hope grabbed Ben and kissed him right on the lips. When the kiss ended, Ben had a big, dumb grin on his face.

Kevin, "nice…."

Gwen, "look!"

Everyone turned to see Driscoll's armor was empty, meaning he had escaped in the commotion.

Ben, "looks like I scared him outta his skin."

Xylene, "I doubt we've seen the last of him…."

Ben, " well, we will be prepared the next time we see him."

The others nodded.

That's when the group noticed something else.

Most of Mount Rushmore was decimated.

Max, "we're gonna need a BIG hologram."

….

One hologram later….

We see the Rustbucket dropping Cooper off at his house.

Cooper was giving goodbye hugs to Ben, Gwen, Hope, and then Gwen again.

Cooper, "this has been the best day of my life."

Gwen, "it was great to meet you, Cooper."

Ben, "if you're ever in Bellwood, give us all a visit."

Cooper smiled and hugged his new friends a hug again.

After breaking the hug, he then went inside his home.

Max, "well, come on kids, let's head out. We're burning daylight."

The kids entered the RV, seeing Kevin groaning as Chester kept nuzzling his face.

Ben and Hope laughed as Gwen blushed lightly.

Xylene commented, "this trip just got a lot more interesting…."

….

Meanwhile….

The remaining members of the Negative 10; Rojo, Kane, Phil, Animo and Hex, were on a bus heading to prison.

They all groaned, "we're gonna kill those kids…."

….

Meanwhile, Meanwhile….

Viktor groaned as he sat up, being mostly covered in snow.

Viktor, "where the fuck am I now?!"

A nearby sign read; Zarkovia.

He even fought him in the flashback chapter I based on Green Lantern: Emerald Knights. So I decided to have Malware be the criminal Max and his team fought that led to them being given the Sub-Energy.

I plan on covering Race Against Time, Destroy All Aliens, some of the Omniverse flashbacks, and then the events with Malware and Feedback. I plan on having Lucy join Max's team. So it'll consist of; Helen, Manny, Pierce, Cooper, Lucy and Swift.
