Chapter 5: The Seeds of Perfection
The ruins of Parsley City grew quieter as the trio flew away in fractured silence. But deep within the shadows of the rubble, Cell stirred, his energy seething with rage. His green, insect-like form was hunched over as his claws dug into the shattered ground, his tail swaying violently behind him like a whip.
Smoke and debris swirled around him, but all he could see was the image of Trunks, 18, and the child disappearing into the distance. His fist slammed into the ground, sending cracks spiderwebbing across the rubble.
"TRUNKS!" Cell's roar echoed through the wasteland, his voice filled with fury and frustration. His crimson eyes burned as his energy flared, green lightning crackling around him.
Cell's Rage Unleashed
"They've ruined everything!" Cell hissed, his tail lashing out and slicing through a nearby crumbled wall. "I needed her—no, I was destined to absorb her! That was my purpose!" His voice grew louder, almost unhinged. "Perfection was within my grasp, and now… now it's gone because of him!"
He stood abruptly, his aura erupting around him in a wild, unstable burst. The ground beneath him disintegrated, unable to withstand the sheer force of his rage. Cell's eyes darted toward the horizon where the group had disappeared.
"What am I supposed to do now?" he snarled, his voice trembling with anger. "If I can't become perfect... if I can't fulfill my destiny... what's left?!"
For a moment, his gaze lifted to the sky, a dark thought forming in his mind. "Perhaps I should destroy it all," he muttered, his tone eerily calm. "This planet… this insignificant rock filled with hypocrites and weaklings. I should blow it to dust and be done with it."

A Moment of Restraint
Cell raised his hand, energy crackling in his palm as he began forming a devastating ki ball. The glow grew brighter, illuminating the rubble around him as it pulsed with destructive power.
"Why not?" he whispered, a sinister grin spreading across his face. "Why not erase everything they've fought to protect? Let Trunks watch as everything he loves turns to ash."
But as the ki ball grew larger, Cell's grin faded, replaced by a scowl of frustration. He lowered his hand slightly, the energy dissipating.
"No," he growled, shaking his head. "Not yet. Destroying this planet would be too… simple. Too final. There's more to this universe—more than this pathetic excuse for a world. Answers. Power. Something greater."
Cell straightened, his gaze fixed on the sky. "I've spent too long confined to this backwater planet," he muttered. "Dr. Gero may have given me life, but he did not give me limits. If I cannot achieve perfection here… then I'll find it out there."

Into the Universe
Without another word, Cell powered up, his aura crackling with renewed intensity. He launched himself into the air, the force of his takeoff creating a massive crater in the ground below. The speed of his ascent sent shockwaves rippling across the ruins.
As he broke through the atmosphere, his mind raced with possibilities. The universe was vast, filled with worlds and beings he had never seen. Surely there was more to his existence than absorbing Androids. Perhaps there were answers—secrets to unlock a new path to perfection.
"I'll find it," Cell growled to himself, his voice carried by the emptiness of space. "Whatever it takes. If the Saiyan brat thinks he can rob me of my destiny, he's mistaken. I'll become something greater than they could ever imagine."
His crimson eyes narrowed as stars blurred past him. "And when I return to this miserable planet… I'll make them all pay."

Foreshadowing Greater Threats
As Cell flew deeper into the universe, his energy signature faded from Earth's view. His absence left an ominous void, but his anger and determination burned brighter than ever.
On a distant planet, untouched by Earth's chaos, a faint energy stirred. Something ancient, something watching. As Cell approached, the flicker of power grew stronger, almost as if it was calling to him.
The journey had begun. The universe would soon know the wrath of a being driven by rage and a relentless desire for perfection.
