Zulia's new beau
.-.-.-.-.-.-.
A/N - please read!
I know I normally put these note at the end, but this chapter starts the shift of somethings, and I'd really like people's opinions on if I should stick to this shift and keep it in, or re work it and take the change out, editing all other chapters to remove the new twist that this chapter creates.
Hope you all enjoy it.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Today was a special day.
The statue of Thaddeus T. Third, the third was finally being returned to its rightful place.
And as such all the kids were making sure the school looked pristine as this event was going to be reported on the news. Right now our group of friends were all happily raking leaves into a huge pile, excited to dive into it once this event is over with.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Over in the park not far from Third Street elementary school, Sparky was there eating a hotdog with his mother who came to earth to visit Sparky. "I'm so glad you came to visit me Mamoolah. I'm gonna take you to the unveiling of the statue of Thaddeus T third, the third."
Zulia cooed at this. "Ohh, sounds exciting. I bet my new boyfriend will love it."
This made Sparky pause in his eating, almost choking as he spits out the hodgot. "New boyfriend? But Mamoolah, your boyfriends are always bad."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Zulia was in a ship with Maximus. "To be honest I had my doubts when I joined that intergalactic dating service. But you have been absolutely wonderful."
"I, too, was hesitant." Maximus replied. "But when my worthless assistant found your radiant beauty administ the common fodder, I couldn't help myself. I was smitten.
The flushed Zulia. "Oh stop it."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another time was when she was with Max Sr. "Not in person but, heart to heart. Yes, tis i, your beloved pen pal. Max. Come to take you away from here and uhh… and uhh.. be my bride?"
Zulia jumped out the front door of her house. "We're going to elope?" She laughs a bit. "How romantic."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zulia shrugged at the example Sparky gave her. "Just a few minor foolish choices. But I've changed, Sparky. My new boyfriend's a real sweetheart, he's a cyclist."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Dede looked down at her bracelet that started to beep. She looked at her friends as they were still gathering the leaves from all over the playground into a big pile for later. "Err.. guys." They looked back at her as she pointed behind her. "I forgot something, I'll be right back to help with the raking." She didn't give her friends any time to answer before she was running off.
Once she found a secure location she answered the call, seeing Admiral DeGill was rock climbing. "I'm afraid I have some bad news, Atomic Candy. The X-rays are on earth."
This shocked Dede as she watched the clips of the X-rays causing trouble all around town. Once the last clip played the hologram swapped back to Admiral DeGill. "But what are they doing here?
DeGill shook his head. "Nobody knows. Your mission is to run them off before they stumble upon our little secret and ahhh—" DeGill screams as he's dragged down from the mountain he was climbing.
Dede just looked at the now empty hologram, not knowing what to do so she just hung up the call. "Well alright then." Dede got her phone out to make a call as she jumped through a portal.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Back at the park Sparky and Zulia were now enjoying some Candy floss before a horn caught Zulia's attention. "Plutor. Honeybunch." Zulia jumped onto the back of Plutor's bike before he and the other two X-rays sped off.
Sparky was knocked down, shocked that his mamoolah just seemed to have vanished.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Dede arrived in the lab at headquarters and saw X-5 and Paloma standing next to a bike. "This is the new galactic guardian bubble bike that we have invented."
Paloma nods as Dede walks over to it. "It's super fun to ride."
Dede takes a seat on the bike and marvels at it in wonder. "Zenian laser sights and full flight capacity. Should come in handy if we have to chase the X-rays."
X-5 waved the bubbles away as Dede peddled. "Unless we need to see where we're going."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Back at the park Sparky was walking to see if he could spot his mum anywhere. "Mamoolah, where are you? I have your favourite brugonkian pug snouts."
Dede and X-5 land near Sparky on the new bubble bikes. "Sparky, hop on, we've got trouble."
X-5 dragged Sparky onto his bike before they took off again. "The X-rays have come to earth. Their intentions are unknown."
Dede turned to look at her crewmates. "What would a bunch of criminals be interested in, that's on earth?"
Sparky thought back to what his mum had said earlier that day. "Mamoolah!" He started to peddle the bike faster.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
By the time that Dede and her crew had caught up with the X-rays the streets were empty because of the chaos they caused. Dede lands her bike in front of them. "We're here to escort you off this planet Plutor."
Plutor revs his bike. "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah." Dede tried to rev her bike but all that came out was more bubbles, making the X-rays laugh.
"I know." Zulia called out from her spot behind Plutor. "Why don't we all go out for a nice ride together?"
Sparky's eyes widened at seeing his mum. "Mum, what are you thinking? The X-rays are criminals."
Zulia just looks at her son. "Plutor is not a criminal. Look around you." Zulia gestured to all the graffiti drawn hearts with Zulia's face in the middle that were painted everywhere. "He's an artist."
Dede glared as she looked around at the mess. "Nobody messes with earth while I'm around. You are so out of here."
Plutor smirked. "You're gonna have to catch me first. Bubble brain."
The X-rays all laugh at this before the sped off, Sparky was first to pursue them. "Unhand my Mamoolah."
While Sparky and X-5 were in pursuit of the X-rays Dede went around the town and removed all the graffiti that Plutor put up. The two in pursuit of the X-rays managed to catch up to the troublemakers. Zulia looked over at her son, having a fun time. "Isn't this fun, Sparky-warky?"
Sparky panted as he peddled fast to keep up with the X-rays. "Mum, Plutor is breaking the law, he's speeding!"
The X-rays speed up, trying to lose the two galactic guardians that were chasing them. And they seemed to be doing just that until they rounded a corner and were confronted by Dede, forcing them to come to a halt. "I'm here by placing you all under arrest for-"
Dede couldn't finish her sentence as Bubba and Furball sped past her. Sparky quickly jumped off of his bike and grabbed onto his mum, pulling her off of Plutor's bike just as he sped off.
"Captain." X-5 called out. "There's no time to waste, they're getting away." X-5 tried to steer the bike but ended up crashing into Dede, sending them both back to the ground. When they sat up and shook their heads, X-5 looked around, not seeing the X-Rays. "It seems we've lost the X-Rays."
Dede gasped as she looked around herself, hoping to spot them but came up empty. "Oh no, it's almost time for the statue unveiling, ohh, gotta think." She held a hand to her head, feeling a headache coming on.
~~~~~~~~~
A young Dede was standing in front of Spindly Tam Kanushu as he was giving her another valuable lesson. "When under pressure, one must calm oneself. Then deal With the most pressing problem, logically."
~~~~~~~~~~~
Dede took a deep breath before she walked over to Sparky and his mum, tapping her on her shoulder. "Excuse me Zulia, but do you have any idea on where we might find Plutor?"
Zulia hummed in thought. "He did mention something about a nice walk on the beach."
Sparky scoffed. "Did he mention anything about pillaging? Defacing? Stealing? Anything like that?"
Dede shakes her head at Sparky as Zulia gives her son a disappointed look. "Plutor's not a thief, he's an art lover. All he talks about is that new statue with the gold accents on it."
This shocked Dede, as far as she knew the only statue that had any gold detailing was the one of Thaddeus T. Third, the third. This made Dede hop onto her bike and start to peddle back to the school as fast as she can with Sparky and X-5 not far behind her.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
When they got back to third street elementary they were lucky the statue wasn't revealed yet so they quickly hid behind the curtain, watching as the workers left the statue, talking about lunch. When they were sure no one was able to see them, X-5 quickly sprayed Sparky with some gold paint as Dede kept an eye out for other people or the X-rays.
Dede looked over at the two boys when X-5 was finished. "Now, when they try and grab Sparky, we grab them." The two nod as X-5 hid in a bush behind the statue while Sparky climbed to the top and sat on the hat, acting like he was meant to be a part of the statue.
Dede gasped and quickly shot into the air on her jet pack just as she heard her friends coming closer to rounding the corner. She could hear Gretchen explaining what was so special about today. "The towns a buzz because the 60-year-old statue of Thaddeus T. Third, the third has been returned to its rightful place in front of the school that bears his name."
Mikey's voice was who she heard next. "Gee! I don't remember any statue ever being out here."
"That's because it's been overseas for eight years getting shined and --" TJ stops his talking as they all gasped at the sight of the statue.
"Thaddeus T. Third, the third!" The six gaze up at the magnificent statue made out of marble, it was holding a gold pocket watch, with gold buttons and gold glasses. They all looked up to his hat to see Sparky sitting there, as still as he could. "Strange? I wonder what that is?"
Regeena shrugs as she too looks at Sparky. "Don't know, maybe it's always been there. We've never seen this statue before after all."
Mikey shook his head in wonder. "He's so regal! His chiselled features seem to say, 'I'm an important fellow'."
TJ smiles big. "Not to me, Mikey. To me they say, 'Hop on, Jasper! I'm built for climbing'."
TJ spits on his hands to give them more grip and the seven of them start to climb the statue. Dede and X-5 watch nervously from their points of above and below as Sparky was starting to sweat as they got closer to him, especially Spinelli who was climbing up to the hat with him.
Principal Prickly stood in front of the reporters and spectators that came to see the unveiling of the statue, tapping the mic a few times before clearing his throat. "Mr. Mayor, distinguished guests, 'big story news' team -- It is an honour to host this 'welcome back, Thad' celebration, welcoming back a man with whom we all grew up, a man for whom this street and school are named, A man named… Thaddeus T. Third, the third."
The curtain opens to show everyone the statue and the crowd gasps at the sight of the seven kids and Sparky on top. Those that saw the statue before it went to get polished knew there shouldn't be any new added gold features, yet there was.
TJ laughs nervously as he waves. "Heh heh. How you doin', folks?"
No one could respond or do anything as that was when the X-rays showed up. Dede gasped as she watched them close in on the statue, she couldn't do anything as everyone was watching her friends and they would see her if she went down there to stop the X-rays who were now near the statue. The seven humans on the statue all watched nervously as the X-rays reved their bikes making a few of them flinch back, this proved to be a bad move as because the statue wasn't bolted down this sudden movement made the statue topple.
Spinelli almost fell off the hat. "He's going over! Bail!"
Dede's eyes widened as she watched the statue fall over with her friends on it. She didn't have any time to think so she quickly hit the button on her headband, sliding her visor down over her face, she hoped it'd be tinted enough that no one would recognise her, and dived down. Thankfully Regeena, Vince, Gretchen, Mikey and Gus were all close to the ground so they all jumped off safely but TJ and Spinelli were closer to the top of the statue and wouldn't be able to jump off easily so Dede grabbed them both, one in each arm and set them down gently on the grass.
"You gettin' this?" The reporter said as he looked at his cameraman.
Dede looked at both her friends to make sure they were okay before she stood up, thankful that X-5 had shot his new invention out from the bush he was hiding in, a smoke screen, so no one seen Dede grab her two friends.
As Dede turned around to deal with the X-rays she missed the wide eyed look her two friends gave her.
Dede jumped into the smoke screen as she and her two crewmates fought and dealt with the X-rays, managing to beat them in record time. The three quickly dragged the X-rays through a portal, in handcuffs, to HQ to deal with them, before they all quickly went back up to the surface in their normal attire, or disguise if you're Sparky.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Back on the surface everyone watched as the smoke screen cleared and everyone was shocked to see the seven kids standing there near the broken statue. Because of the smoke screen no one had fully seen the X-rays circling the statue. So, as most people do, they blame it on the ones they see next to the disaster. Mayor Fitzhugh was one of these people as he glared at the kids before looking at Prickly. "Prickly! Do you know what this means?!"
Principal Prickly just stuttered, at a loss for words but Ms Finster wasn't as she walked past him. "He certainly does, Mr. Mayor." Ms Finster stands in front of the group of friends and levels them with a hard stare. "You seven are in the biggest trouble ever!"
Dede could only watch sadly as her friends got in trouble for something that wasn't their fault, but she knew she couldn't say anything, as no one could know about the X-rays or anything else to do with the work she does.
The only reason the three galactic guardians were standing behind everyone with Zulia was because Sparky wanted to talk with his mum before they finalised the arrest of the X-rays, right now he was pleading with Zulia. "Ma, promise me you'll never ever see Plutor again?"
Zulia patted Sparky's head. "If it'll make my little Sparky-Warky happy." The family moment was broken by the sound of Zulia's phone ringing. "Hello. Hopper? You're out of jail? I'd love to see a movie tonight." This shocked Sparky as Zulia hung up the phone. "Gotta go." Zulia kissed Sparky's cheek goodbye before leaving.
Dede looked from her crewmates to her earth friends before sighing. "There's got to be something I can do to get them out of trouble." The three then used a portal to go back to HQ, unaware that two pairs of eyes were watching them from where they were getting scolded.
.-.-.-.-.-.
TJ's eyes widened at seeing the three disappear, he turned to look at Spinelli next to him, only to see her eyes wide as well. "You saw that too, right?"
Spinelli nods.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
By the time Dede got back from HQ, everyone was already gone, so she headed home herself. As Dede was about to open the gate to her home she stopped, turned around and crossed the street, opening the gate to the home opposite hers. "Hello, may I please speak to Mr Third?" Dede asked the butler that opened the door.
The butler nodded and led Dede through some halls, stopping at a door to knock a few times before opening the door and walking in. "Presenting mistress - "
The butler stopped as Thaddeus looked up from his paperwork. "Ahh, little King. What can I help you with?"
Dede shuffled nervously on her feet before looking Thaddeus in the eyes. "Mr Third, I'm here on behalf of my friends about what happened to the statue of your grandfather. It wasn't their fault that the statue had broken but I know that they feel responsible and are deeply sorry. I'm sorry as well for not stopping those bikers."
Thaddeus watched as Dede bowed her head before he stood up and walked around his desk, resting a hand on her head. "Thank you for coming to apologise but i know it wasn't your, or your friends, fault for that statue being broken." Dede looked up at Thaddeus as he took his hand back. "I watched the unveiling on TV and saw what happened. While it never showed who was on those bikes, the noise was enough to know what was happening when the statue was covered, It's unforgivable that they're putting the blame on kids and not looking to the ones that actually did this." Thaddeus smiled down at the Dede. "I'll keep an eye on what's going to happen so nothing goes too far."
Dede smiled at Thaddeus. "Thank you Mr Third."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Dede wasn't the only one dealing with something.
After getting home and being scolded by their own parents, TJ and Spinelli got on the phone to each other.
"You saw it too, right?" Spinelli asked.
TJ nodded, even though he knew Spinelli couldn't see him. "Yeah. It was definitely Dede that had caught us from falling from the statue."
Spinelli looked around to make sure her parents weren't nearby. "And that blue light they jumped into, it was just like that time we had the SAL computer. It looked like a portal."
TJ sighs, taking his hat off. "Whatever it is she does we can't tell her we know. Obviously it's meant to be a secret but I'm too curious about what she does."
Spinelli hums. "We'll keep this a secret but the next time she runs off, one of us will follow as the other distracts the others so we can find out. We might be able to help her if we know."
"So we're in agreement. Find out what Dede does and keep it a secret?!"
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
The next day at school Dede didn't get time to talk to her friends before they were swept away by Ms Finster at the start of recess. When Dede was able to find them she was hit with more guilt as she saw them all scrubbing the floor with toothbrushes. "Ms Finster." Dede wanted to explain to her what had actually happened in hopes to get her friends out of trouble.
Ms Finster turned to look at Dede as she folded her arms. "What is it, King?"
Dede looked at her friends before turning back to Ms Finster. "Can I speak to you about yesterday?"
Ms Finster scoffed. "There's nothing to talk about, these rapscallions destroyed that statue."
Dede took a step forward. "But that's not what - "
Dede's bracelet started to beep, causing her to sigh and look at her friend's guiltily before she turned and left, unaware of the eyes of TJ and Spinelli following her before sharing a glance.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
By the time Dede was able to finally get some free time a few days had gone by. Her guilt only grew as the days passed. By the time Dede was able to take Ms Finster aside her friends were cutting the grass on the playground with scissors. "It wasn't their fault Ms Finster."
Ms Finster crossed her arms. "Then who's was it?"
Dede looked around to make sure that there was no one within hearing distance. "There was this gang called the X-rays, they came to earth with Sparky's mum and were causing trouble all over town. They were the ones that were circling the statue before X-5 used a smoke bomb to cover for us capturing them."
Ms Finster sighs, nodded and walked over to the seven. "Alright, I'll end their punishment now." Dede smiled big as she followed Ms Finster over to her friends. "Alright you seven - "
"Step aside, Ms Finster." Principal Prickly said as he and mayor Fitzhugh walked over to them all. "The mayor would like to address the, um, seven."
Mayor Fitzhugh walked forward to address the seven. "I suppose you know I'm here to announce your punishment."
Regeena looks up in confusion. "Um, I thought this was our punishment?"
Ms Finster takes off her sunglasses to look at the mayor, also in confusion. "Yes, Mr. Mayor. I believe I've done a splendid job of cracking the whip."
Mayor Fitzhugh waves Ms Finster off. "Nonsense!" He then turned his attention to the seven dressed in orange. "The city can't afford to have you in cahoots any longer. That is why we intend to send the seven of you... to seven separate schools."
This made them all gasp.
Dede watched with wide eyes. "Separate schools?"
Mikey grabbed his head. "But that's cruel and unusual!"
Even Principal Prickly was shocked by this. "You have to admit, your honour, it is a little extreme."
Mayor Fitzhugh again just waved Principal Prickly off. "Not according to the City Council. They considered a pint-sized prison just to hold the seven of them."
TJ stepped forward, upset and angry about what was happening. "Mr. Mayor, this isn't fair! My friends and me have been scrubbing and cleaning, and we haven't been given the chance to apologise or -- "
Mayor Fitzhugh cutes TJ off. "Tell it to the judge at Tomorrow's hearing!"
"Hearing?" Spinelli asked.
"Who's the judge?" TJ follows up.
"Me!" Mayor Fitzhugh says before leaving, laughing.
The remaining ten watched as he left before Ms Finster looked at the kids. "Any chance you have a plan for this one, Detweiler?"
TJ shakes his head. "No, ma'am, I do not."
Dede looked down to hide her tears, the guilt was truly eating at her now. She couldn't tell them about the X-rays without exposing the Galactic guardians.
Was she going to lose her friends over this secret?
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
At the end of the day Dede went back to Thaddeus T. Third's manor, hoping he could do something. Once Dede got done explaining what was going to happen to her friends, it's safe to say that Thaddeus was furious. "Don't worry little King, I'll take care of this."
Dede nods as she wipes a tear away. "Thank you Mr Third."
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
The next day was the trial and dede was beyond nervous. She was sitting in the stands behind her friends, Bob and Paloma on either side of her, both holding one of Dede's hands. Behind them was Sparky and X-5. Paloma, Sparky, and X-5 were all wearing disguises so no one would recognise them.
Mayor Fitzhugh, acting as the judge, gave the sentence. "After much deliberation, we here at City Hall have decided to break up 'the destructive seven,' and scatter them throughout the district."
TJ stands up. "Mr. Mayor, can I say something?"
Mayor Fitzhugh smirked smugly. "I don't know. Can you?"
TJ rolls his eyes. "Sorry, sir. May I say something?"
"That's better."
"Your Honor, this whole time we've been trying to say how sorry we are that the statue broke, so here it is -- We're sorry. We didn't mean to break it. Heck, we thought we were supposed to climb it. I guess we weren't. But the thing is a priceless statue doesn't feel anything when it gets all broken up, but, sir, a friendship like ours sure does, especially since you're also punishing another kid that didn't climb the statue, by separating us all."
This made everyone in the stand mummer between themselves as mayor Fitzhugh talked with the people on the council before he turned back to look at the seven. "Yeah, well. After some deliberation, we agree what you said was very nice. However, a beloved statue has been broken because you climbed on it, and now you all must pay!"
Principal Prickly stood up, wanting to defend the kids. "Your Honor, I must protest! Basically, these are good kids -- "
Mayor Fitzhugh bangs his gavel. "Be quiet, Prickly or I'll have you sweeping up the city zoo. I swing that kind of lumber." He smirks before going back to looking at the kids. "Now, then. By the power vested in me, yada yada yada, I hereby sentence you, 'the destructive seven' -- "
Dede squeezed her eyes closed, not wanting to see or hear what was about to happen as Paloma and Bob squeezed her hands in comfort. The sentence was thankfully interrupted by the courtroom doors being thrown open and a voice shouting out. "Wait!"
The crowd gasps and murmurs as Thaddeus T. Third, the third walked into the room, Dede looked up with a big smile, hoping he's here to help her friends. A random spectator stood up from the stands. "It's Thaddeus Third, the third, back from the grave to level justice with his own hand!"
Thaddeus raised an eyebrow at this. "Are you nuts?! I'm Thaddeus T. Third, the fifth! Now, sit down, or you're fired!"
"I don't work for you!"
"That's what you think!" This made the guy sit down silently.
Mayor Fitzhugh sweats nervously as Thaddeus walks up to him. "Mr. Third, how nice to see you. Thank you again for the lovely city hall."
"It was a write off." Thaddeus stops in front of Fitzhugh, glaring at the Mayor. "I'm here about this ridiculous hearing. You're treating these children like hardened criminals."
Mayor Fitzhugh stammered. "But, sir, those children broke the statue of your grandfather by climbing all over it."
"Before you condemn these scamps for that, I'd like you all to see something." Thaddeus turned to look at the two guys he came in with. "Ronny, Cheech -- get the lights and the slide projector." Once everything was set up Thaddeus coughs as he shows everyone the pictures on the slide. "Look closely. This particular swinger was one Muriel P. Finster, age 10."
Ms Finster pulls at the collar of her dress. "Oh, yeah."
Thaddeus then changes it to another picture. "Does anyone recognize esteemed school principal Petey Prickly, age 11?"
Principal Prickly laughs nervously. "Those were the days."
Once again the picture is changed, this time to a more zoomed out one to show a bunch of kids. "Here's a happy bunch of Tykes. Let's get a little closer, hmm?" He zooms in onto the picture, focusing on the kid trying to push the statue over. "See that kid? The one actually trying to break the statue? Well, folks, that is our Mayor-to-be… Little Phillip Fitzhugh."
Mayor Fitzhugh gulps. "That don't look too good."
The lights turned back on as Thaddeus turned to face everyone. "Kids play. Kids climb on statues. It's what they've always done. It's what they always will do. If you're going to punish them for this, why not punish them for being shorter than you as well?"
Mayor Fitzhugh stammers. "Well, I don't think any of us were really suggesting -- "
Thaddeus didn't let Fitzhugh continue though. "Accidents happen, Fitzhugh! The fact is, you have no proof that these kids were even the ones to break the statue. What about those three delinquents that were circling the statue on bikes? Or whatever happened when the area was covered in smoke?"
Mayor Fitzhugh was shifting in his seat. "Well…. Umm.. you see…"
"Somebody says they're sorry, and it's over, you jingle-brained public servant. This young lady came to me the day of the accident and apologised on behalf of her friends, meaning this incident should have been over days ago." Thaddeus gestured to Dede before looking back at Fitzhugh. "Now, I strongly urge you leave these children to their games and studies."
Mayor Fitzhugh nodded quickly. "Yes, yes! Of course, sir. I proclaim this matter closed. Children, you're free to go have fun." He slammed his gavel down before whispering to the two photographers behind him. "Get some shots of me apologising to the kids."
Everyone started cheering as Dede stood up and ran to hug her friends, all of them happy that they wouldn't be separated. TJ turns to look at Mr Third when they break the hug. "Thanks a lot, Mr. Fifth!"
Thaddeus playfully scoffs. "It's third!"
Dede walked forward and hugged Thaddeus. "Thank you Mr Third." Thaddeus just chuckled as he patted Dede on the head.
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
BIZARRE LOVE LANGUAGE
.-.-.-.-.-.-.
"Hey guys." Dede walked into Admiral DeGill's office to see DeGill, Paloma, Lapis, Sparky and X-5 all laughing. "What's so funny?"
Paloma turned to look at her friend as she wiped a tear from her eye. "Bob left his webcam on by accident."
Dede raised her eyebrow at her friends. "It isn't nice to be spying on - what?"
Dede stops as she looks at the screen to see Bob playing with two dolls. One looked like him that he used to "plot his reign" and the other looked oddly like Dede. "Oh Bob." Bob said in a higher pitched voice as he moved the 'Dede' doll. "You're so strong and brave. Thank you for saving my life again." He then went back to talking in his normal voice. "No need to thank me Dede, it's all part of being the number one Galactic guardian of all time!" His voice raised again. "Oh Bob, you're the only one for me." He then made the two dolls kiss before the screen turned off.
The five that were sitting back and enjoying the show all looked over to see Dede holding the plug with a massive blush on her cheeks. Lapis laughed at this. "Oh Bob, you're so brave and sweet."
Sparky joined in. "Oh Bob, you're so cute and super cool."
The two started to make kissy faces as DeGill, Paloma and X-5 laughed even harder.
Dede growled and the next thing the five knew was that they were all tied up together, floating through space. "I'm Dede, I get mad when people make fun of me and my boyfriend." Sparky laughed at his own impression as Lapis snickered. The other three were not impressed. "She's not coming back, is she?"
X-5 sighs. "Highly unlikely."
"Huh, well, I spy with my little eye - "
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
THE END
.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
TJ and Spinelli have seen Dede on a mission.
How do you think things will go from here on out?
I'd really like to know what you think.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it.
