Green and Purple Destiny
(Musical Guest Stars: The Fold)
In Ninjago City, the remaining Resistance members, Lloyd, Rattalia, Izzy, Dareth, and Seliel were surrounded by the Sons of Garmadon after defeating Ultra Violet, and with Skylor out of commission inside the Battle Wagon and Nya having a broken arm, they were outmatched and outnumbered as they did their best to fight them off.
"Get us out of here, Dareth!" Nya shouted.
"I don't exactly have a free hand at the moment!" Dareth called as he got a biker on his back, which he used to spin around and keep the other S.O.G. off him.
"We are sssseriously outnumbered here!" Rattalia exclaimed as she tail-swiped a goon.
"How are we supposed to endure this?!" Seliel questioned, doing a double kick.
"Just keep swinging!" Lloyd called, but then they all heard rumbling sounds, which made everyone stop as they looked up and saw a portal opened up as they gasped when Firstbourne, her dragons, and the other Ninja exited it as they gave roars.
"Break away!" Wu called as they flew to the Colossus, who tried to swing a hand at them but they avoided it as they flew over the city, seeing the chaos.
"Our city!" Cole gasped in shock.
"What's left of it!" Jay called out.
"We're gone for a few weeks and already the apocalypse has happened?!" Melissa questioned.
"Let's just hope our friends are okay." Kai said hopefully before his com went off.
"You're coming in loud and clear, big brother!" Nya spoke up, which brought smiles to everyone.
"Nya?! You're alright!" Jay said in joy to his girlfriend.
"Oh… I don't know about that, but we could use a little help." Nya spoke up as they all nodded.
"Zane, can you track them?" Melissa asked.
"I've located their transmission." Zane informed with a nod.
"Lead the way," Wu said as Zane dove downwards towards the fight as the Sons of Garmadon panicked and ran for their lives but some didn't get far and were frozen solid.
"The Ninja are back!" Dareth cheered as he and the others looked up in joy and awe.
"And with very large dragons." Seliel added in awed as the other dragons used their elemental powers to push back the rest of the S.O.G. while giving a roar.
"We did it! We held out!" Lloyd said in joy as Firstbourne landed in front of him and his group while Wu jumped off, while the others looked awed at Wu's appearance as he gave a smile.
"Is that…" Nya started in shock.
"Uncle Wu?" Lloyd said in shock.
"When I was an old man I was Wise to avoid a fight, but today," Wu started before looking at his first students, "I am not an old man," He said as the other Ninja landed.
The Ninja got down from their dragons as the others cheered and rushed over to them, Nya and Seliel hugging Jay and Cole tightly with tears of relief in their eyes. "Look at us, the gang is back!" Cole cheered.
Melissa then gets down from Hikari and Kurai as she turns and looks at Lloyd who came over to her but then made eye contact with her and slowed to a stop. "Um." Lloyd said, looking away with a frown while Melissa did the same, both feeling awkward seeing each other again after the last time they interacted.
"Hey." Melissa greeted awkwardly.
"Hey." Lloyd greeted back.
"Yeah, hey." Melissa said awkwardly, holding her hands together, still unable to make eye contact.
The two kept quiet before Melissa took the plunge by extending her hand to Lloyd. Lloyd hesitated for a moment as Melissa gave a small unsure smile and still held out her hand for him to take.
Lloyd then slowly took her hand and gave a small shake, "It's uhh, it's good to see you're okay," Lloyd admitted.
"Yeah, it's uhh, too okay be good," Melissa said before shaking her head, "I-I mean, good too okay be, is what I meant to say. Nono! I mean, I mean!"
Lloyd gave a small smile. "It's good you're back, Melissa." He said to her, which made her stop stammering.
Melissa gave a small smile back. "It's good to be back." She said softly.
"Where are Pixal, Rachel, Luci and Misako?" Zane asked, noticing four other women are missing.
"Locked in Kryptarium Prison." Lloyd answered them.
Dareth and Izzy then brought the weakened Skylor towards them, which got Kai's attention. "Skylor." He said as he rushed up to his girlfriend. "What happened?" He asked in concern.
"She tapped into Garmadon's power." Nya answered in dread. "It was too much for her to bear."
"Then I guess it's time to take him down." Melissa said with determination. "Cause I am sooooooo looking forward to getting my hands on Harumi." She said, pounding her fists together.
That made the Resistance hiss and cringe. "Well, about that." Nya said, rubbing her head sheepishly.
"Huh?" Melissa said with a brow.
"Melissa… Harumi is dead." Lloyd told her as Melissa's eyes widened in shock, "When Skylor used my father's power, The Colossus crashed into A building and, Harumi was still on it when it collapsed."
"Oh… uh, okay," Melissa said, unsure how to feel about this. She had said she wanted to make Harumi pay for what she did but, did she really mean it? "Well, I guess justice is served, I think."
"You're not as happy as I thought you'd be," Nya commented.
"Well, I may hate Harumi, but I wanted justice, not what she just received." Melissa said with an uncomfortable look. "Now, I don't know if I could feel bad or feel good about it."
Just then, they heard more smashing. "Uh, I hate to break up thissss conversation, but we have a city to sssave from a giant sssstone head!" Izzy exclaimed, reminding them of the Colossus.
"Has your power returned?" Wu asked his nephew.
"No. But Mystake taught me power isn't what makes the Green Ninja..." Lloyd spoke up. "It's the person behind the power."
"She's no longer with us, is she?" Wu asked, guessing what happened to Mystake.
"You know, we wouldn't be here without that crazy little woman." Dareth said before they heard the Colossus roared from the distant with rumbling. "In honor of her, I recommend we drop it old-school, and kick some butt!" He declared as he picked up a fallen sword and tossed it to Lloyd, who caught it as the Colossus continued to wreck the city with Garmadon controlling it as the people ran off in a panic.
"Dareth's right. We do this for Mystake, and everyone else hurt by my father." Lloyd said in determination.
"Ninja, can you stop the Colossus?" Wu asked the four boys.
"We've learned a thing or two about taking down giants." Cole answered with a smirk as he held up the Venge-chain gun as they got onto their dragons.
"Nya, you, Dareth, Seliel, Izzy, and Rattalia keep Skylor safe." Wu said as the three nodded. "Lloyd, you must confront your father."
"I've survived without my power, I don't know if I can stop him." Lloyd said uncertainty.
"You may be without power, but you are not without me." Wu said with an assuring smile,
"And you have me," Melissa said, walking up to Lloyd with her own sword.
"You sure you can handle it?" Lloyd asked uncertainty.
"You've faced your father alone. But let's see what happens when he fights the full might of the Ninjas of Yin and Yang." Melissa declared with a determined smirk.
Lloyd looked at her for a bit before nodding in agreement with a determined look. "Then let's get going." He said with determination.
Melissa then turned to her dragon. "Hikari, Kurai, let's head off." She said as the Yin-Yang Dragon lowered her heads as she and Lloyd got on while Wu got on Firstbourne.
"Ninja…" Both Lloyd and Melissa started.
"GO!" The rest of the Ninja exclaimed as the ones on dragons took to the air with roars.
"See you on the other side." Dareth said from the battle Wagon as Seliel took the controls while he, Rattalia and Izzy watched over Skylor as they took off as Firstbourne flew off to Borg's tower, the Ninja went into the city.
In the air, Firstbourne, Hikari and Kurai flew towards Borg Tower while Garmadon saw it approaching but paid attention to the passengers, which he gave a glare as he focused hard, which Wu felt as he winced as Lloyd and Melissa turned to him in concern. "What's wrong?" Lloyd asked.
"My brother. I feel his rage." Wu said grimly.
"That's bad." Melissa muttered.
"I feel you, brother." Garmadon said at Borg's Tower. "And I see you brought the Ninja. But it's too late." He said as he raised a hand as the Colossus smashed another building, which sent debris. "Feel the wrath of my True Potential!" He yelled out.
In another part of Ninjago, the four Ninja are flying across the city as they look over. "Looks like there's a few who weren't able to evacuate." Kai noted.
"Giant snakes, overlords, and now this!" Jay exclaimed while gesturing to the chaos. "Why do people insist on living in this city?" He questioned.
"Because old friends are worth fighting for." Cole said with a smile as they flew down and started rescuing people as Jay then lifted a truck up from a blockage of debris.
"I know. The commute is terrible." Jay commented as he flew them out of the city.
Zane saw a road was destroyed as the people couldn't get across, but he then flew the ice dragon over as it released an ice blast to create an ice bridge, which made the people cheer as they carefully walked across it.
Rufus screamed when a debris was gonna land on him, but a chain wrapped around him and pulled him away as he was taken to the air as he saw Kai and the Fire Dragon giving a roar before Rufus let go once he was close to the ground.
"Superheroes do exist." Rufus said with a smile as he gave a thankful wave to Kai, who waved back in return before flying off.
In another part of the street, some of the S.O.G. were harassing Gayle and Vinny, "Whatever happened to freedom of the press?!" Gayle questioned the laughing men.
Then a distant call was heard as Dareth's hand appeared as he made a hand gesture and jumped in front of them while wearing his mask. "When you mess with Gayle Gossip, you mess with… the Brown Ninja!" He declared.
"You hear that, fellas?" One of the bikers questioned with a smirk. "The Brown Ninja made a mess!" He taunted as they all laughed at him.
"What nono that's not what I, NO! That's gross, you've twisted my words!" Dareth said slowly before taking a breath, "Laugh all you want, it's time to wipe out crime!" He yelled as the S.O.G. went up to him.
But when Dareth tried to attack, he tripped, but shockingly, he clumsily flipped around and took out the S.O.G. with ease as he sat on the last one as he turned to Vinny and Gayle as the Battle Wagon came up behind him. "Please tell me you got that." Dareth asked as Vinny gave a shrug as Dareth went up to the battle Wagon.
"Wait, who are you?" Gayle asked as Dareth just chuckled.
"Your biggest fan." Dareth simply said before he jumped into the Battle Wagon and it drove off while Gayle fainted with a blissful look.
An S.O.G goon then rushed into Kryptarium as some guards were waiting, "What's going on?" One guard asked the other.
"We got problems! The Ninja, they're back! They just showed up out of the sky on giant dragons!" The goon exclaimed with fear. "The boss needs all hands on deck!"
Misako, Rachel, Luci, Pixal and the other prisoners heard this. "The Ninja…" Misako said in shock.
"They've returned?" Pixal added.
"I knew they'd be back." Rachel said with a smile.
"Never doubted them." Luci added with a smile.
"Huh, well I'll be." Ronin said in surprise.
"They need our help." Karlof said as he started hitting the bars with his gloves. "The Resistance Never Quits! The Resistance Never Quits!" He called as he kept banging while the guards.
"The Resistance Never Quits! The Resistance Never Quits!" Everyone in the cells all chanted and hitting their cages, while Ronin, Turner, and Karlof's was loosen up while the guards looked at the bars in worry.
Soon, Karlof bust the cage down as he, Turner, and Ronin got out as Karlof armored up as the guards rushed towards him, but he knocked them off as Ronin and Turner stood beside him. "You ain't got the Vengestone to protect you now." Ronin said with a smirk.
Turner then sped up to the watch tower and flipped the switch, which opened up all the cells as everyone stepped out and faced the guards, who looked in fear.
Back at the city when the sun went down, Firstborne, Hikari and Kurai, the Ninjas of Yin and Yang, and Wu continued to fly their way to Borg's Tower. "Tell me you know how to defeat him." Lloyd said to his uncle.
"Only a fool thinks he knows everything." Wu added. "I admit, I know nothing either. How this will end is beyond me." He said.
"That's not very reassuring." Melissa muttered as they got closer to the tower.
Back with the Core Four, they were flying above the streets while circling the Colossus as it tried to swat them away. "Okay, we got the people out of the way." Cole said as they flew around. "Time to deal with the elephant in the room." He quipped.
"That is not an elephant, Cole." Zane pointed out.
"We got it, Zane." Kai said as they armed their chain guns. "Just train your chain on the big guy. Remember what Faith taught us. We do this together!" He said as they flew towards the Colossus.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall!" Jay called as he fired his chain at the leg as Kai did the same, circling the leg, but the Colossus broke it easily.
At Borg's Tower, Firstbourne, Hikari an Kurai landed on the side as Ninjas of Yin and Yang and Wu got off them as they flew off as the three stood ready as they looked at the rubble of what used to be the throne room.
They saw a faint glow and nodded to each other as they climbed up the rumble and into the upper levels just as a banner flew off.
"My family…" Garmadon's voice spoke up as the three ready their swords as they felt their presence. "My enemies…" He continued as the three stood back to back. "You may have father's sword, but now my power surpasses his and the Overlord himself." The banner came at them again as Wu sliced it.
Garmadon then jumped down behind the three, glaring his blood red eyes at them. The Ninjas of Yin and Yang and Wu drew their swords in ready stances as Garmadon used his powers to create purple energy weapons as he gave a yell as the three started fighting each other.
As they clashed with each other, Lloyd was the most vulnerable without his powers as Garmadon knocked him onto the upper levels. Wu clashed with his brother as they locked blades.
"What have you become?!" Wu questioned.
"Time has treated you well." Garmadon said with a look, while noting Wu's age was almost similar to when they were young. "You think father's sword could hurt me?"
"No, but it can hold you!" Wu declared as Melissa and Llloyd stood back to back on both sides as Firstbourne, Hikari and Kurai flew in front of them, which made Garmadon look in shock.
"Your reign of terror ends tonight, Garmadon!" Melissa said with a glare.
Firstbourne released a blast of molten lava while Hikari and Kurai released double blasts as the entire area gave off a small explosion.
Once the smoke cleared, the three looked at Garmadon stuck in molten hardened lava, but then black smoke came off of him as the lava completely evaporated. "Don't you get it? The fight is what fuels me!" He shouted as he marched towards them while powering up.
"Kids! Get down!" Wu shouted as they ran for cover before a massive wave of purple energy sent them, Firstbourne, Hikari and Kurai flying.
"What was that?" Cole asked after seeing the explosion.
"Look out!" Kai shouted as Cole received a punch from the Colossus.
Wu lost his father's shield as he fell closer to the ground, but then Firstbourne flew in and caught him as they crashed into the ground. Wu got up as he saw Firstbourne unconscious as he looked up to Borg's Tower. "Lloyd. Melissa." He muttered.
Hikari and Kurai managed to recover and flew around the tower as Melissa was on the ground groaning as she got up. "That worked with Iron Baron." She muttered while rubbing her head, but she looked around and saw Lloyd hanging by the edge. "Lloyd!" She called out as she rushed towards him, slid down and grabbed his arm, "Gotcha!" She called as Lloyd looked up at her.
"Thanks, I-" Lloyd's eyes widened in shock as a shadow loomed over Melissa, "Look out!"
"Huh?" Melissa said before she looked behind her and saw Garmadon glaring at her, "Oh, hi Garmadon?" She said nervously. "Long time no see."
"Hello my, former daughter-in-law." Garmadon sneered as he raised a foot, "And farewell," He said before stomping down hard on Melissa's back, causing her scream in pain as she held onto Lloyd. "How long can you endure? Longer than you did when you broke my son's heart?!" He mocked, stomping down on Melissa again, releasing a purple shockwave of energy.
"ARGH! I don't know if that's his evilness talking, or if he's actually pissed off about that." Melissa muttered before she screamed after another stomp.
"Melissa!" Lloyd said in concern, "Melissa let go! Don't worry about me! I'll bounce, I-I'm a Ninja remember?! We all land on our feet!"
"We're not cats and we never fall from a high building!" Melissa pointed out as she received another stomp as she groaned, "I let you down once, I'm not doing it again!"
"And I let you get hurt because of me before, I can't ask you to do that again now!" Lloyd told her.
"Who's asking?! This is how I want to!" Melissa questioned as Garmadon was about to give her another stomp, but Melissa then summoned her powers and grabbed Garmadon's leg as he strained to stomp down on her. "And Garmadon, you said the fight is what fuels you! Is this really how you fight?!" She questioned with a glare. "Stomping on a girl trying to save your own son and can't fight back, and take the easy way out like a fucking coward?!"
"Yeah. I thought the fight fuels you! But this is just sad!" Lloyd added as Garmadon gave a glare at them while thinking before he picked them up with his arms and tossed them to the ground as they tumbled over.
Garmadon then walked up and picked up the Dragon Blade. "If only father could see me now." He said as Lloyd and Melissa glared at him as they picked up their swords and charged at each other.
Back with the Four Core Ninja, they continue to fly around the Colossus while they keep being swatted away as they try to continue wrapping chains around it. "He's too considerable to take down." Zane stated.
Kai shot a chain at the Colossus, but it reacted fast and caught the chain. "And he's got good reflexes!" He said in surprise before he was swung off his dragon as he gave a shout before he landed on Jay's dragon.
"Guys, I'm nearly outa chain!" Cole called out, running low on chains for his weapon.
"Me too!" Jay called out.
"Even if we had more, it's not thick enough to stop it." Kai pointed out that their chains aren't thick or big enough to stop the Colossus completely.
"Then perhaps next time we should use thicker chains." Zane said as they avoided the Colossus' swinging hands.
"There ain't gonna be a next time!" Cole called out.
"And Zane's the smart one." Jay joked.
"No, he's onto something…" Kai said, having an idea. "Look at all that chain. If we can use it, we could lock it down." He said as he gestured to the chains still wrapped around the Colossus.
"And who of us is stupid enough to jump on that thing?" Cole sarcastically asked.
"Cole, say no more." Kai said with a smirk as he jumped off Jay's dragon and onto the head of the Colossus as he tried to keep his balance.
Back on Borg's Tower, Garmadon and the Ninjas of Yin and Yang continue to clash blades with each other as they keep exchanging strikes while Lloyd and Melissa are doing their best to avoid falling from the edge.
Back on the Colossus, Kai struggled to keep his balance as he tripped over and grabbed onto the edge of the stone hat.
"That's my last one!" Cole yelled out as he shot a chain next to Kai and let go of his chain gun. "Make it count!"
Kai then used the chain to climb down to the lower levels of the Colossus.
Melissa then tried to swing her sword at Garmadon, only for him to block her attack. "I made a promise to you that I would protect Lloyd with my life." Melissa said as she swung her sword. "And I'm keeping that promise, even if I have to protect him from you!"
"And how well have you kept that promise after you abandoned him?" Garmadon questioned as he blocked her strike and pushed Melissa back as he jumped and was about to deliver a strike to Lloyd, who flipped back to avoid it.
"This isn't how grandfather wanted Ninjago to be!" Lloyd shouted to his father as he flipped back some more. "He left his world to make a better place!" He added as he blocked a strike before he was pushed back. "He fought to restore the balance!"
"Ninjago isn't built on balance!" Garmadon shouted at them. "It's built on…" He then jumped forward as the Ninjas of Yin and Yang avoided another swipe as he cut a stone in half. "Power! And controlled by who he possesses it!" He called as Melissa then quickly did a sword swipe, which knocked the Dragon Sword out of Garmadon's hand as it slid across the floor.
"Lloyd, grab the sword! Now!" Melissa called out as Lloyd ran up to the Dragon Blade and quickly swamp it from his regular one. Garmadon growled as he then summoned his powers and shot two blasts at them, which Melissa counteracted with her powers while Lloyd blocked the strike, which surprised him as he looked at the Dragon Sword as Melissa landed beside him. "Lloyd, that sword can absorb Elemental Power! Even the most powerful ones!" She explained.
"Really? Huh, nice!" Lloyd said as the two took stances.
Garmadon sent more blasts at them, but they kept repelling them with Lloyd using the sword and Melissa using her powers to counteract them as they dodged some. "You really think the Ninja and I haven't learned a thing or two while stuck in another Realm?" Melissa taunted Garmadon with a smirk. "Not so easy in a fair fight, huh?"
Garmadon gave a yell and summoned his energy daggers and charged at Lloyd and Melissa as they clashed blades.
"No matter what you've done or what you've become!" Lloyd started as he and Melissa fought. "I have to believe that this isn't really you!"
"We know deep down you're still the same man who gave his life to save Ninjago!" Melissa said to him while giving a pleading look, "The man who I considered my one true father. It's not too late to change."
"Youthful ignorance!" Garmadon said angrily before knocking them away and crept up to them. "People don't change!" He said as he kicked Lloyd and Melissa. "They only reveal who they truly are!"
Garmadon then used his powers which nearly knocked Lloyd and Melissa over the building, until Garmadon grabbed them and threw them at a rock, Lloyd and Melissa tried to get up only for their father to knock them away again, The Ninjas of Yin and Yang then saw Garmadon standing over them as they took off their masks and gave him a determined look.
"No! You're wrong!" Lloyd shouted.
"We know that no matter what side you are on, you are still the Garmadon we knew and loved!" Melissa called with a look. "You've just locked those emotions away!" She added as they blocked Garmadon's strike, but then Lloyd lost his grip on the Dragon Blade as it was sent falling off the building. "No! The Dragon Blade!"
The two watched helpless as the Dragon Blade fell to the ground, "Get up! And fight me." Garmadon growled as Lloyd clenched his fists while Melissa looked at him, "Get up! Fight me!" He demanded, Lloyd glared and was about to get up but Melissa stopped him.
"No! Don't. This isn't working!" Melissa told him.
"We can't just sit here and do nothing!" Lloyd told her
"We aren't, we need to fight smarter not harder." Melissa told him. "The more we fight him the stronger he gets."
"So what are you saying?" Lloyd questioned.
"We don't need to fight him, we just need to endure him." Melissa said determinedly.
"But How are we supposed to fight without fighting…" Lloyd trailed off when he said that as it finally hit him.
"The Art of the Silent Fist." Lloyd and Melissa said in unison with smiles, remembering Garmadon's old teaching.
"What are you two babbling about?!" Garmadon yelled as the Ninjas of Yin and Yang kept silent.
"It's the fight that fuels you." Lloyd said as he and Melissa turned to him.
"If it's fighting that makes you stronger, then we cannot fight you…" Melissa started as she and Lloyd avoided a swipe from Garmadon.
"But we can resist you." Lloyd finished as Garmadon roared as he kept swinging his weapons while Lloyd and Melissa kept avoiding them while Hikari and Kurai kept circling the tower.
Back with the four core Ninja, Kai climbed up on a chain while the others continued to wrap their chains around the Colossus. "Keep distracting it!" Cole shouted.
Kai then brought two chains together as he used his powers to meld them together as the others and their dragons continued to wrap the chains around in certain places as the Colossus' legs began to buckle.
"We cannot fight you." Lloyd said.
"But we can resist you." Melissa finished.
"Stop saying that!" Garmadon exclaimed as he levitated a boulder and tossed it at Lloyd and Melissa, who avoided them as they kept dodging them.
"We cannot fight you…" Lloyd repeated.
"But we can resist you!" Melissa added.
Garmadon charged a yell as he charged at them, but they jumped over him as he fell to the floor. "We cannot fight you…" Lloyd started.
"But we can resist you." Melissa added as Garmadon looked at his hand and saw his power fading as he fired a blast at the two, but they simply avoided them.
"What is this?! How are you two doing this?!" Garmadon demanded.
"A lesson that you taught us yourself." Melissa said to him. "The Art of the Silent Fist."
"To fight, without fighting." Lloyd finished reciting the words Garmadon told them, now ironically used against him as the Dark Lord roared out in fury.
Back with the Colossus, the four Ninja continue to tie the Colossus down as Kai begins to climb back up. "It's working!" Jay exclaimed. "Get off of there, Kai!" He added as the Colossus was about to tip over as Kai jumped off with a shout and landed on his Fire Dragon as the Colossus fell to the ground as they all cheered.
But then the Colossus started to get back up, much to their shock. "It's breaking free!" Cole exclaimed.
"What?!" Jay shouted.
"It's weaken!" Zane stated.
"It didn't fall hard enough!" Cole shouted.
"Oh, come on!" Kai complained as Cole was swatted away, but then two chains were shot and tied up to the Colossus's left hand.
"Maybe I can offer some metal!" Wu shouted with a smirk as he flew in on Firstbourne with his chains ready before they heard honking sounds.
"Don't think we've forgotten about you guys!" Seliel called out through the coms as the Battle Wagon came in and rammed one of the Colossus's legs, causing it to tilt as Pixal, Misako, Rachel, and Luci, Nya, and the rest of the people, human and Serpentine and alike, came in with bigger and thicker chains.
"Tie it down!" Misako called, tossing the group some more chains as the people started running around the chains while the Ninja used their dragons to grab the chains and started pulling.
"Here we go again!" Jay called out as the Colossus fell to its knees.
"The bigger they are!" Cole shouted.
"The harder they fall! Zane finished as the Colossus completely fell down.
Back in Borg's Tower, Garmadon and his children continue to glare at each other as Melissa and Lloyd simply walk down. Garmadon sent another blast at them, but it simply faded before it could touch them as they simply walked around him with their backs turned.
"We cannot fight you, but we can resist you." Both the Ninjas of Yin and Yang said in unison as Garmadon tried to power up his fists but then his powers finally burned out as he looked to his hands in shock before he fell to his knees.
"My power. Where is it?" Garmadon questioned with a pant.
Lloyd then closed his eyes as they then glowed green before he opened his eyes to show his fully green eyes. Garmadon and Melissa looked on, the former in horrified shock while the latter with a bright smile as Lloyd looked at his hands, glowing with Green Light as he was surrounded by Elemental energy for a moment as his powers fully returned before they stopped, but he still kept his hands powered up.
"Lloyd…" Melissa muttered with a smile at seeing Lloyd's powers returned. "You're powers."
"They're back." Lloyd said with a smile. "And better than ever I think." He said as Melissa giggled before Garmadon fell to his knees in defeat and the two turned to him.
Back with the others at the Colossus, the stone creature was beginning to crumble now that Garmadon lost its power, its purple light faded as it started crumbling to pieces as the people ran out of the way as they looked down at the rumble as the Resistance all cheered.
In the Battle Wagon, Skylor began to cough as she opened her eyes, no longer purple now that Garmadon's power was no longer in her, "What, what happened?" Skylor asked weakly before her eyes landed on Kai, "Kai?" She said hopefully.
"Yes. And we won." Kai said with a smile as Nya, Seliel, Rattalia and Izzy smiled at the sight.
Back on Borg's Tower, the Ninjas of Yin and Yang looked at Garmadon with their powers ready. "What are you two waiting for? You still have to finish me." Garmadon told them.
Lloyd and Melissa looked at each other before they put away their powers and approached Garmadon. "No, you're already finished." Melissa stated. "You have lost, Garmadon."
"It's over." Lloyd said with a look.
Garmadon didn't look at them as he just kept his head down. "It's not over, but when they come it will be." He said as Lloyd and Melissa looked at him in confusion. "My power, it was the only thing that could battle back The Darkness from devouring us all, but you two took that away, and now everything will be gone." He said with a worried look.
"What are you talking about?" Melissa asked.
"Who will come?" Lloyd asked.
"You'll see, and when they come." Garmadon started before he raised his head to them. "Nothing will be left." He finished as Lloyd and Melissa looked at each other with concern.
Down below all of the S.O.G. had been rounded up and detained with Ultra Violet and Killow walking up to the truck. "Well, I hope you scum took care of Kryptarium. I know some cells that have opened up." The Commissioner said with a smirk.
"And good call in bringing a straitjacket for this one, Commissioner." Seliel said while gesturing to Ultra Violet, who was strapped in a straitjacket as she gave a growl at Seliel before Seliel kicked her in. "Go on. Get." She taunted with a smirk. "I hope you have fun in Kryptarium, and please don't drop the soap." She said with a laugh as she walked away while dusting her hands off.
"Room for one more?" Lloyd and Melissa's voices spoke out as everyone turned around to see them by the entrance of Both Tower with Garmadon with his head down in defeat.
"Lloyd! Melissa!" They all exclaimed in joy as they rushed to The Ninjas of Yin and Yang as the cops apprehended Garmadon.
"Man, I can't believe it!" Jay cheered.
"Yeah!" Cole cheered.
"Lloyd, your powers are back!" Nya cheered after seeing Lloyd's eyes glowing gold color.
"And Garmadon's power is gone! The balance is restored." Jay said with a smile.
"Thank you Ninja for saving Ninjago. Again." The Commissioner said with a smile as he and his cops walked off.
Pixal and Zane walked up to each other as they shared warm smiles and brought each other a warm hug and a kiss at reuniting once more as
The cops took Garmadon to one of the police trucks as he looked at Lloyd and Melissa. "They will come," He vowed before he was shoved inside and the doors closed and the trucks drove off to Kryptarium. All throughout Ninjago City the sounds of Laughter, cheering and dancing from the people, finally free of the S.O.G.'s tyranny.
Melissa then looked to Lloyd cautiously before taking a breath and facing him, "Lloyd, there's something I want to tell you," She started as Lloyd turned to her, "I know that you still want us to be a couple again, so I just wanna say that-"
"Wait, before you continue, you should know that, I'm not expecting us to be together again so soon," Lloyd told her with a slight smile as Melissa was shocked.
"W-What?" Melissa asked.
"These recent events have shown me I can't expect you to be obligated to listen to me or forgive me for what I did when I didn't give you the attention you deserved. And by putting my desires before everything else, I put the people I care about in danger," Lloyd explained as Melissa listened with wide eyes, "So, now that I know you're okay and Ninjago is finally free, I don't feel like rushing back into a relationship when you're still not ready. So, I'm fine with just staying as friends."
"B-But Lloyd I-" Melissa tried to say.
"I really hope this doesn't change anything between us, will it?" Lloyd asked.
Melissa looked at him for a moment, seeing that the times they were separated, Lloyd endured worse than what she and the others have from the First Realm as she gave a sigh. "No, it doesn't change a thing." She said with a small smile. "We'll take it slow, agreed?"
"Agreed." Lloyd said with a smile as he made his way to the others as Melissa watched him walk off as her smile turned into a sad frown and looked down in sadness.
"I fucked up, big time." Melissa muttered sadly to herself before she slowly followed the others.
"Just another day in the life of a Ninja." Kai joked that around the city, people took down Garmadon's banners. "Wonder what tomorrow holds?" He asked himself.
Soon, the next day, the Ninja then started cleaning up the wreckage in the back of the palace, now back in their old Gis. "It holds a lot of work, Kai." Jay grumbled as he was filling up a garbage bag.
"We saved Ninjago, can't we get a day off?" Cole asked.
"We helped break it…" Lloyd started.
"We help rebuild it." Melissa finished.
"Ninja! There's trouble!" Wu shouted as he rushed into the courtyard, now back to his original age. "Come to the gates, quickly!"
"What, another threat already?" Kai questioned.
"That was quick." Melissa commented.
"I'm still sore from our last adventure." Jay complained as Wu rushed off to the entrance.
The Ninja dropped their cleaning supplies and put on their masks as they rushed up to the palace entrance, but what they saw wasn't trouble, but there was cheering as they saw many of their friends and allies cheering for them as a band started playing as the Ninja took off their hoods as they look on in surprise.
The Commissioner walked up to the Ninja as he stood beside Lloyd and Melissa. "I've already thanked you. But the people want to thank you, also." The Commissioner said with a smile.
They saw Seliel, Skylor, Dareth, Rachel, Luci, Misako, and Pixal among the crowd as Nya gestured them to come up to them since they saved Ninjago as well as the four walked up to them as the band started singing the same song Melissa sang years ago.
It's time for training and we're getting started
It's on you know
Nya gave Jay a side hug as the Lightning Ninja held her with a smile.
Zane caught Pixal in a hug as the Samurai gave him a small smirk.
And we wanna see you whip and shout it
we rock you roll
Kai and Skylor then backed up to each other, which they gave warm smiles as they held each other's hands.
Cole subtly scooted closer to Seliel, whistling casually as the Phantom Ninja just rolled her eyes with a grin before holding up a piece of cake to Cole, which made the Earth Ninja smile at his favorite treat.
Melissa looked at the crowd with a smile before looking at Lloyd who was smiling and waving to the crowd as she frowned sadly, regretting what she had done to him and how she failed to tell him what she truly wanted.
The crowd kept cheering the Ninja as they smiled and waved as the band kept singing.
They say go slow
And everything just stands so still

We're ready for the fight
We know the drill
As the song continued, Wu left the festivities.
At night time, Ninjago City then sent off fireworks while in the Palace everyone was partying out front in the palace and inside it. Lloyd walked on the roof as he saw Wu and Melissa with the dragons as Wu petted Firstbourne while Melissa petted Hikari and Kurai while the other dragons slept.
"They have to leave?" Lloyd asked them.
"This isn't their Realm," Wu said as he kept petting Firstbourne. "They'll come back. When it's time."
"We will miss them, but they have a home to get back to." Melissa said as she hugged Hikari and Kurai's muzzles. "And this time, no Dragon Hunters to kill them."
"Thank you, my friend." Wu said to the Mother Dragon.
"I will miss you girl." Melissa said to the Yin-Yang Dragon. "Ultra would be proud of you."
Lloyd petted them as well with a smile before he gave a concerned look as he walked up to the edge. "The First Spinjitzu Master tried to make the perfect Realm, and because of my father, there may never be lasting peace." He said seriously as Melissa and Wu walked up to him.
"Ninjago has its fair share of non-lasting peace, Lloyd." Melissa said to him. "My father is also another example, twice. But as balance, wherever there is light, there must always be darkness."
"Melissa is correct, Lloyd. Our world isn't perfect." Wu continued. "That doesn't mean we give up on it." He finished as they kept looking at the fireworks.
"Tell me, Uncle, Melissa." Lloyd said to Melissa and Wu. "Back in the First Realm… did either of you see the Oni?" He asked.
"I didn't sense any Oni there." Melissa said, shaking her head. "And they hadn't been there for centuries."
"It seemed they had abandoned the First Realm long before we arrived." Wu added with a concerned frown. "To where, I do not know. What concerns you, Master Lloyd?" He asked as Lloyd stepped forward to the edge.
"If my father is right, I think they are coming." Lloyd said seriously, which was shared by Wu and Melissa, as they have a feeling that what Garmadon said to them is true:
Then the Oni are coming.
A/N: And that was Hunted, and Garmadon has been defeated and Ninjago is saved once again, but it doesn't look like everything has been solved, at least for Melissa and Lloyd but they are on good terms with each other. But peace is gonna last, because if what Garmadon says is true then that means that the Ninja need to be prepared for The Oni.
