at school, Lori was writing an essay on the Louisiana purchase in history class. While writing some words on the important event in American history, she was thinking about Luan and how exactly she was doing right now after the whole brainwashing event on her from Circus Freak. That joker girl has been through so much already. But alas; she needed to focus on her school work like every other high-schooler in the world. Class and school can be so boring sometimes, but Lori and everyone else in her classes were very much used to it (mostly because it is the law for every kid in the United States to go to some school).

Even though Lori is a superhero now, she still had to attend school at this age. After all, she is a senior and her K through twelve education is just about over (until she decides to go to college of course), and she will be free to make her own decisions once she reaches eighteen years of age.

After another long, tedious, boring day at school, Lori went back home and suddenly got a call on her cellphone, and answered it. "Hello?" she said: "Yes, this is Lori Loud." the teen girl listened in on the conversation on what this person had to say to her. "Oh, a babysitting job? fifty dollars? who is the little guy?" Lori paused again. "Really? That's not far from my house. "Sure. Sure. His name is Paul?" A frown grew on her face. "Oh, poor kid. He doesn't have any friends? Uh-huh, sure. I'll watch over your son tonight while you and your husband go out for dinner on your anniversary. Got it! Bye! Thank you!"

then she hung up. Babysitting was one of Loona's side hustles when she wasn't busy flirting around with her "Bobby Boo-Boo Bear."

setting inside her humble abode, Lori looked to see Luan laying on the couch with Mr. Coconuts in her right hand.

"Mr. Coconuts," the joker sister began talking to her signature marionette, "Would you call this day boring? No kids parties to perform"

"Come on Toots" said Mr Coconuts. "Every kind of business has a very slow day every once in a while. We're ni exceptions."

"Yeah that's true."

"Uhh, Luan?" said the eldest sister, "are you okk?"

"Oh yeah! Yeah. Just bired since there are no kids parties to perform right no." Luan pouted. "Been lioe that for the past few days."

"Well speaking of kids, i got a new client!"

"Really? That's great, Lori! Who is it?"

"A lonely kid named Paul McCloud. He doesn't have so much friends and he feels alone"

"Really?" Luan frowned. "I feel bad for him.

"Who literally wouldn't? Lori agreed. "The boy really needs the love and support he can get right now."

"Did they give you the address?" Said Luan.

"Yep. Already written down on my phone."

"Good. Hope you can cheer him up when you see him."

"Heh, i hope so too, Luan." Lori smirked. She waited a couple of hours before going over to the house where this Paul boy lives, and was greeted by two adults, and their one child, who was the size of Lola and Lana, probably even around their age too. He had blonde hair and some freckles on his round melon-headed face, more freckles that Lincoln does. His face was more oval-shaped instead of circle-shaped like Lincoln's head was.

She was smiling at the parents and the boy. "Hello. You must be Mrs and Mr Newerth." She said in an enthusiastically happy voice.

"That we are." Said the husband.

"Abd this is our boy Paul."

"Hello Paul." Said Lori with a warm smile on her face.

Paul just gave a meek "hi" back to her with a small wave with his right hand.

"Our sincerest apologies. Paul is a shy and quiet kind of boy."

"It's ok, Paul." said his mother. "You and Lori are going to have a great time."

"We read about your resume, Lori, and we are very impressed with your experience." Said the father with a smile. "So here are a list of things that he can or cannot eat and what he is allergic to."

"Thank you so much." said Lori

"And he goes to bed at eight o'clock sharp." Said the mother. "No later than that, ok?"

"You got it, Mr and Mrs N. He'a literally in good hands. Have fun at Jean Juans French Mex Buffet!"

"Of course. Come on, honey. I always wanted to try frog legs."

"And i always wanted to try chili con carne." The mother smiled. As both parents went off, Lori closed the front door and smiled at little Paul

"Hello Paul. I'm Lori Loud. I promise you we'll have a wonderful time together."

"OK." Said Paul shyly. "But, you look familiar." He narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "Have i... seen you somewhere before?"

"Not that i'm aware of" Lori modestly pointed. "I just have one of those faces that look similar to other people, sweetie."

"Alright."

"So what do you do for fun, Paul?"

"Play video games, watch tv, play with my bearded dragon; Carly."

"Huh. Kind of a weird name for a lizard. But ok. Do you ever have any friends at school,"

"No. not really. Everyone hates me, Lori,"

"What?" Lori looked sympathetic to Paul. "Why does everyone hate me?"

"Because they think i'm a loser. Not really worty anyone's time."

"Don't you ever sit with anyone at lunch?"

"Hardly." Paul replied. "one or two people from time to time but that's it."

"have people been bullying you?"

"No, no. they don't pick on me, they just ignore me. It's like... the world hates me."

"Oh don't say that, Paul." Lori tried her best to console and try her best to make him happy and lift his spirit. "Granted, the world can be a scary place sometimes, but you shouldn't let that bring you down."

"Why is the world so scary?"

"Huh. Good question, Paul. Very good question." Lori chuckled. "But it doesn't mean it's a bad place to live in. There are good things in life."

"I do my best to make some friends, but everyone just runs away from me. Do i stink?" Paul smelled his two armpits. "Or do I look stupid or is it my voice?'

"OK, OK, slow down, Paul. Just tell me what happens with you at school."

"The same thing. People don't really talk to me, except for my teacher, Mister Sammich."

"Huh."

"I think Mr. Sammich is more of a friend to me than anyone else. He helps me with some things i don't understand."

"Well that's good." Lori smiled again.

"But i just want some friends. And last year at my sixth birthday party, no one showed up." he bowed his head.

"Paul, i-" Lori gently put her right hand on his back. "I'm so sorry."

"It's OK, Lori. But how can i make some friends without making people think i'm a freak?"

"Well why would anyone think you're a freak in the first place?"

"Because..." the boy paused. "I have weird feet." he took off his shoes and revealed his small bare feet, and something really caught Lori's eye. His feet only had three toes on each of his feet instead of five.

"Wow." Lori said

"Oh i knew you would think i'm a freak too." said Paul, scooting away from his babysitter.

"No no no, i don't think that. You're just a little boy." Lori reassured him. "Come on, it's not so bad."
