Episode 46: A Togepi Mirage!
Recapping what happened, what started as a happy reunion with their old friend, Misty, now the leader of the Cerulean Gym, turned sour when both she and Mew fell victim to Colonel Hansn's evil plot, regent of the Mirage Kingin. His plan was to use Misty or Mew's Togepi to claim the throne of the Mirage Kingdom. After escaping the colonel's trap, they meet Sara, the princess and rightful heir to the throne. But still, Hansen remained intent on capturing one of the girls' Togepi! So now, fully enmeshed in the Mirage Kingdom succession conflict, what will be the two Togepis' fate?
The smoke soon clears.
"You can't win!" Hansen says.
Princess Sara begs the colonel, "Stop this at once, Hansen!""
But Col. Hansen commands his Pokemon, "Shedinja, Solar Beam! Ninjask, Hyper Beam!"
All three fire the attacks
Just then, both Togepi start glowing bright blue before creating a barrier that halts all three attacks and shocks everyone.
"A Safeguard? But how?" Princess Sara asks, shocked.
Within the mirage of the coronation temple, a portal opens, and from it, a beam fires that hits the Safeguard and expands it, further blinding everyone before the light fades to show our heroes had disappeared.
"They've disappeared!" James says, shocked G
"Where'd dey go?" Meowth asks.
Jessie turns to the Colonel, "What's going on, Colonel Hansen?"
The upside down temple mirage soon disappears.
All Col. Hansen says, "Follow me, to the temple!"
"Yes, sir," Team Rocket says, and follows.
Meanwhile, everyone finds themselves in a brand new land. With two Togepi still floating.
Princess Sara turns to Miranda, "Miranda, where are we?"
"Your highness, we are now deep within the mirage we saw above the temple. We're within the place known as Togepi Paradise," Miranda says.
Everyone was in shock at the news.
"A paradise," Misty says, surprised.
"Yes Misty, I've been here once before with Sara's father, the king," Miranda says, "The Mirage Kingdom has always protected the Togepi Paradise, and has been protected in return. Our two worlds exist in a delicate balance. But it seems that much has changed since I was here last.
"Look at the trees and plants," Mew says.
"They're wilting," Max says.
Miranda then explains, "You see, Togepi are born here before they're sent out to touch the hearts of people in our dimension. And after their mission is complete, they return here.
"Togepi and Faye sure touched our hearts," Mew says.
Faye and Togepi soon float off after sensing something.
"Togepi, Faye, wait!" Misty calls out.
"Where are you going?!" Mew calls out.
Everyone follows Togepi and Faye before they find several other Togepi, looking weak and battered. They're not the only ones. There are two other kinds of creatures as well in the same condition.
Dainty, bipedal Pokémon that is small in stature. They have white bodies with a red and blue triangular ring pattern on its body. It also has a relatively long neck and long legs and a pair of wings on its back, giving it a vaguely angelic appearance.
And white, avian Pokémon with an ovoid body. While its feet are small and situated closely together, its wings are broad and triangular. Red and blue triangular markings over its underside, and it has a short tail consisting of three feathers. On the back of its head are three spikes: a red-tipped one on the right, a blue-tipped one on the left, and a pure white one in the middle. Along with a relatively flat face and small, black eyes.
"Guys, look!" Misty says, shocked.
"They're all Togpei," Molly says.
"And their evolved forms. Togetic and Togekiss," Mew says.
"They don't look good," Tomo says.
"They're all so weak!" Brock says, shocked.
"But why? Isn't this supposed to be their paradise?" Misty wonders.
"Let's see what our Pokedex says about them," Mew says.
May does the same.
Mew's Pokedex, Dextette says, "Togetic, the Happiness Pokemon, and the evolved form of Togepi. A Fairy and Flying Type. Togetic is said to be a Pokémon that brings good fortune. When the Pokémon spots someone who is pure of heart, it is said to appear and share its happiness with that person.
May's Pokedex says, "Togekiss, the Jubilee Pokemon and the final evolved form of Togepi. A Fairy and Flying Type. It shares many blessings with people who respect one another's rights and avoid needless strife."
Then both of them explain more about Togepi, "Togepi, the Spike Ball Pokémon. A Fairy Type. Togepi is filled with an energy that makes people happy. When treated well, Togepi shares this energy with others. But, when it comes near a human with an impure heart, this energy quickly disappears, leaving Togepi exhausted.
"An impure heart?" Princess Sara questions.
"I know who! Hansen!" Misty says.
"You're right, Misty! It must be because of Hansen's evil plot that these Togepi and their evolved forms are all in such pain and sadness," Miranda says.
Meanwhile, back in the Mirage Kingdom, Colonel Hansen and Team Rocket arrive outside the temple.
"But Colonel Hansen, what are we doing here?" James asks.
"Looks like a regular gate to me," Jessie says.
But then, Colonel Hansen, "Shedinja, Solar Beam!"
Shedinja fires the attack and reveals the portal.
Seeing it, Colonel Hansen says, "Just as I thought," and calls out, "Shedinja, Ninjask, use Solar Beam and Hyper Beam together! Aim your attacks right at the center of the portal! Break the very fabric of space and time!"
All three fire and hit the portal.
Meanwhile, a bright flash lights up the sky in the Togepi Paradise that everyone there notices.
"What was that?" Mew asks.
Togepi and Faye soon float off.
"Togepi!" Misty calls out.
"Faye!" Mew calls out.
Another flash turns more forest into wasteland. They soon reach a portal and find Hansen and Team Rocket attempting to enter.
"Look! It's them!" Max says, shocked.
"What are they doing?!" Molly asks.
"They're trying to break in!" Mew says.
Togepi turns to Faye, "Toge Toge Togepriii!" (Faye, stay here with the others! I'll take care of them!)"
"Toge," (Right.) Faye says.
Understanding them, Mew and Tomo say in shock, "What?"
Soon, Togepi then floats toward the portal.
"Togepi?" Misty says.
"Togepi, wait!" Mew calls out.
Togepi enters the portal
"Rai Rai Rai!" (Togepi!) Sparkle calls out.
Misty rushes over, "Togepi!"
However, Misty is bounced off the portal when he tries to enter.
The attacks soon cease and Togepi emerges from the portal before it disappears.
"Look who dropped by," Meowth says.
"I guess that time-space stuff is the real deal," James says.
Col. Hansen calls out, "Now, Ninjask, weaken that Togepi so it can be captured!"
Both Ninjask fire a Shadow Ball. Togepi dodges one, but gets hit by the other, sending it right into one of the pillars that make up the gate before Togepi falls, defeated, shocking everyone back in the Togepi Paradise.
"Togepi!" Misty cries out.
Colonel Hansen holds up the unconscious Pokémon and laughs in triumph.
James cheers, "Bravo, Colonel Hansen!"
"Exquisite thievery!" Jessie calls out.
"Dat crown's practically got your name on it!" Meowth says.
"Time to go," Col. Hansen says.
"Aye aye!" Team Rocket says.
They all watch in shock, horror and anger as Hansen and Team Rocket depart with Togepi, particularly Misty, who harbored the most anger out of them all
Misty cries out, "Togepi! Togepi!"
As Mew and Misty push against the portal, the other Togepi start glowing bright blue, causing the portal to open again.
Seeing what is happening, Faye begins to glow blue. All the Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss all glow as well, but a specific Togekiss steps forward.
Soon, everyone returns to their own dimension, along with Faye and the Togekiss.
"We're back out," Misty says.
Mew turns to see the Togekiss as Faye lands on her head, "And we have a helper."
"But why?" Brock asks.
Soon, Togekiss says, "Toge Toge Togekiss." (Because, my partner the king needs me.)
Mew translates, "Togekiss said, 'The king, her partner, needs him.'
"Partner?" Tomo questions.
Soon, Miranda says in surprise, "I don't believe it, you're the King's Togepi."
Togekiss nods in response. This is indeed the King's Togepi who has evolved into Togekiss.
Meanwhile, Hansen approached the King and Queen.
"Your royal highnesses. I have gained possession of the Togepi that one of the intruders possessed. Thus, you must yield the throne to me," Col. Hansen says.
But the King knows the truth, "No, Hansen. Only one who has found a wild Togepi, one without an owner, can assume the throne as King or Queen of the Mirage Kingdom. And that Togepi belongs to Misty."
"Not anymore. Togepi left the girl on his own whim and I refuse to accept foolish arguments from anyone, even the king!" The Colonel says.
Team Rocket, the guards, and Hansen's Pokemon soon surrounded the rightful rulers.
"Follow me, your majesty," Jessie says.
"This way to the dungeon, your highness," James says.
"Your new living quarters," Meowth says.
Meanwhile, Mew and the others are trying to figure out a plan.
"Okay, we need to figure out how to defeat Hansen's Pokemon. And out of all of them, Shedinja is the strongest out of all of them," Mew says.
"You're right, how are we supposed to beat it?" Max says.
"Well, since Shedinja is part bug and part ghost, we need to use any of the weaknesses that it has," Brock says.
"And that means we need fire! Fire Pokémon!" Max says.
"Some of us have fire Pokemon like May's Torchic and my Combusken, along with Pansear," Mew says.
"And Tomo has Fire pokemon that can help us as well," May says.
Suddenly, they hear Jessie's voice, "Your attention please!"
Everyone looks and sees Jessie on a TV screen.
Jessie announces, "I have an important announcement for all residents of the Mirage Kingdom. A brand new king has been chosen, and he is none other than your regent and mine, and the colonel of the Mirage Kingdom Royal Guard, Hansen!"
Everyone in the kingdom was in shock
"I must be dreaming," Miranda says, shocked.
And Jessie says, "I can assure you all, this is not a dream. as evident by the very Pokémon your new king has in his arms as he sits on the throne this very minute!"
Everyone sees Hansen holding Togepi.
"And lo, within just a few moments, the coronation ceremony will begin at the temple! Have a nice day!" Jessie says.
The feed cuts out.
"Those creeps!" Jen says, angrily.
"Amaura!" (They're the worst!) Amaura adds.
"Where are my mother and father?" Princess Sara asks, worried.
"Settle down, your highness, everything will be alright," Miranda reassures.
Togekiss also gives Sara a gentle rub with her ring for reassurance.
"Princess, I promise that we'll find your parents and free Togepi, too," Mew says.
"That goes double for me," May says.
"Yeah. My friends and I have gone through situations like this and always come through in the end," Misty says.
Soon, Brock comes out, "Fear not! Brock is here and he's here to battle! Through fire, overseas or in the air!"
And just then, Mew grabs his ear and pulls him away, "How about you come back down to earth and handle your own private battle?"
"Wow. I'm still impressed," May says.
"I can see where Mew got that style from," Max says. Then turns to Misty, "You got style."
"Thanks. And it's nice to see Mew is dealing with Brock when I can't," Misty says.
Meanwhile, in the palace throne room….
Jessie asks, "Colonel Hansen? Or shall I call you King Hansen? Either way, you said you'd show us great power, so does that mean we'll have a grand position in your new regime?"
"Will this make me the next colonel of the Royal Guard?" James questions.
"You know, I've always wanted ta live in a castle," Meowth says.
But Hansen says, "I have no need for you."
Team Rocket was shocked by the news.
"Leave my kingdom immediately," Hansen demands.
Jessie sweatdrops, "Yes, it is your kingdom, but you did promise to grant us power, didn't you?"
"My king, you're teasing us, right?" James replies.
Then Hansen commands, "Use Solar Beam, Shedinja. Ninjask, Hyper Beam."
All three attacks fire and send a frightened Team Rocket flying.
Team Rocket cries out, "We're blasting off again!"
Meanwhile, Togekiss, Beautifully, Taillow, and Zephyr fly over to find a way out and end up witnessing Team Rocket's blasting off routine.
"Beau Beau Beautifully?" (Was that Team Rocket just now?) Beauitfly asks.
"Taillow." (Seems so.) Taillow says.
"Toge Toge togekiss," (Let's keep looking.) Togekiss says.
Then the Pokemon fly around to continue searching. Someone later, they return to the others.
"Did you find anything? The King, Queen, or Togepi, or even Hansen?" Mew asks.
They all shake their heads.
And Taillow said, "Taillow Taillow." (All we saw was Team Rocket getting blasted off.)
"Apparently all they saw was Team Rocket getting the boot," Mew says.
"If Hansen were going to hold the king and queen, I say the tower would be his first choice," Miranda says.
"So what do we do?" Misty asks.
"What can we do?" Molly asks.
"There's only one thing to do and that's breaking into the palace," Brock says.
"Seems that we don't have any other choice," Mew says.
"That's right. Mew, Misty, May, and Tomo, you all take care of Togepi," Brock says.
The group nods their heads, "Right."
"I'll go with you as well," Princess Sara says.
Within the temple, the coronation ceremony was underway.
Hansen says, "With the power of this Togepi now in my possession, I hereby declare myself the king."
Hansen places Togepi upon an altar, causing the jewels on it to glow for a bit.
"Yes, you certainly do hold a Togepi from the mirage leading to the Togepi Paradise. Thus, I judge you, Colonel Hansen, worthy to be king of Mirage," The Priest announces.
Soon, up above the temple, the mirage temple appears again as Team Rocket re enters the Kingdom after landing.
"The nerve of that power hungry Hansen, using us all this time!" James says, angrily.
"After all we did for dat guy he stiffs us wit nutin," Meowth says.
"The worst part is that he did it to us before we could do it to him," Jessie says, angrily.
Suddenly, they spot Brock, Max, Jen, Molly, Miranda, Mudkip, and Togekiss.
"Let's get going!" Brock says.
"We've got to hurry! We have to find the king and queen!" Miranda says.
"Don't worry, if they're anywhere nearby we'll find them. Mudkip can use the fin on its head to locate anything or anyone in the air or on the ground!" Brock says.
Team Rocket peeks out behind a tree and watches them run on.
"Dey're looking to rescue da king and queen," Meowth says.
Then Jessie has an idea, "That gives me an idea."
"It's Hansen payback time," James says.
"Whiles we set back and let da goody-goods do all da woik," Meowth adds.
The three dash ahead and set up a table with a crystal ball ahead of Brock and the others.
"Greetings, my friends," Jessie says.
The group stops to see the 'fortune tellers.'
"You're in a rush," James says.
"The crystal ball has told me that you've lost something, or rather, someone. Is this true?" Jessie questions.
"We're not looking for something or someone we've lost, we're trying to find someone who's missing and we're in a really big hurry," Max says.
But then James says, "The ball knows all."
"It shows you all searching to the west in a chamber under a house. The owner seems to be, Colonel Hansen," Jessie says.
Soon, Miranda realizes, "Wait just a minute. They might be on to something!"
"Great!" Jen says.
"Miranda, take us there, please," Brock says.
"Right!" Miranda replies with a nod.
"I don't know what that crystal ball saw, but…" Brock says, turning to the fortune tellers.
However, Team Rocket had disappeared
"Whoa," Brock replies.
Meanwhile, at the temple, the newly crowned King Hansen emerges with Togepi in hand and raises it up.
"Togepi, use Metronome! Unleash your hidden power to open the door! Use your long dormant power this instant!" Hansen commands.
Suddenly, Taillow swoops in.
Hansen calls out, "Ninjask, Shedinja!"
Taillow backs off a bit before Hasen realizes the rest of the team and the princess were standing before him.
"Well, well, we meet again," Hansen responds.
Soon, Misty demands, "Give back my Togepi, now!"
"You won't get away this time!" May says.
And Princess Sara begs, "Please, Hansen, you know that Togepi could despise nothing more than something like this!"
But Hansen commands, "Go, Ninjask, now!"
"Go, Torchic!" May calls out.
Then Mew calls out, "Go Combusken!"
With that, both Torchic and Combusken come out of their Pokeballs.
"Ember attack!" May calls out.
Torchic fires the attack and hits one Ninjask, but another retaliates with a Shadow Ball.
"Quick, dodge it!" May calls out.
However, the attack lands and knocks Torchic out.
May: Torchic, return!" May says, and recalls her Pokemon.
Mew then calls out, "Combusken, use Flamethrower!"
Combusken then fires the attack, and knocks both Ninjask out.
Hansen then calls out, "Shedinja, use Solar Beam!"
Shedinja then charges and fires the attack. However, before the attack can land, it's revealed to have been blocked by a Safeguard.
"Wha?!" Hansen says, shocked.
"Is that Safeguard?!" Tomo asks.
"But who did it?!" Princess Sara asks.
As the so-called 'king' looks on in shock, Misty's Togepi wakes up to notice what was going on. They all soon see Mew's Togepi, Faye, perform the attack, but it also turns out that she had some help. Then other Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss, come out of their Paradise, surprising everyone.
"Faye!" Mew says, surprised.
"And the The Paradise Togepi and their evolved forms!" Princess Sara says, shocked.
"Why'd they come?" Misty asks.
Soon, Faye begins chanting, followed by the Paradise Togepi as they sway their arms from side to side.
Fearing for their safety, Princess Sara calls out, "No, you must leave! It's too risky! Go back to your paradise!
Suddenly, all five of them glowed and sent out a beam towards Misty's Togepi as Hansen looked with shock. The beam hits Misty's Togepi and it begins to glow bright. Hansen was still shock as Togepi then broke free from his arms by means of a powerful force before flying up. Faye also begins to glow more and flies up to Misty's Togepi. Soon, both of them begin to have a bright glow, amazing everyone.
"What's going on?" Tomo asks.
"They're…" Misty says.
"Evolving," Mew adds.
Togepi and Faye begin to morph into something new, gaining longer legs and arms, a distinct body and head and even wings. The glow faded to reveal two Togetics.
Both of them say, "Toge ticu!" (We're Togetic!)
Misty gasps in surprise, "Togepi!"
"Faye!" Mew says, surprised.
"They evolved," May says.
"They're Togetic now!" Princess Sara sys.
Faye and Togetic fly to their trainers.
"Togetic!" Misty says.
"Faye," Mew says.
Togetic says, "Togetic!" (Hi, mother.)
"Togetic," (Hi mom.) Faye says.
"So you're okay?" Misty asks Togetic.
Togetic nods, "Tic!" (I'm fine now.)
"Alright!" Misty says.
"You look great, Faye," Mew says.
"Toge," (Thanks.) Faye says.
Then the two Togetic turn their attention to 'King' Hansen before flying up.
The girls respond, "Huh?"
"Where are you going?" Misty asks.
Soon, Misty's Togetic says to the Paradisal Pokemon, "Getic, Getic, Tic!" (Listen up, everyone. We have to launch a counterattack.)
The Paradisal Pokemon confirm before they confront a furious Hansen.
Seeing Togetic evolve makes him angry, "You dare evolve?! The end is near! I'll capture every one of you! Shedinja! Solar Beam!"
Shedinja fires the attack, but Togetic, Faye and the other other Pokemon used their Safeguards together to block the attack.
"Ha! So much for 'Guardian Pokémon', by using defense only!" Hansen says.
But Princess Sara says, "We'll just see about that!"
"Huh?!" Hansen responds confused.
Princess Sara says, "You misjudge the great power of kindness! The kindness that Mew, Misty, and all of their friends have given to us! It is this kindness you could never understand that has given power to Faye and Togetic!"
The Safeguard soon got bigger and brighter, so much so that everyone in the whole kingdom could likely see it while Hansen gasps in shock. Mew and Misty know what they need to do. They turn to each other, nod, and bring out their Pokeball.
Confidence, Misty says, "Togetic, Faye, leave the rest to us, okay?"
The Safeguard soon ceased
Togetic nods, "Togetic!" (Go get him, Misty!)
"Togetic," (You too, Mew!) Faye says.
Misty kisses her Pokeball.
Soon, Misty and Mew call out, "Gyarados, I choose you!"
Soon, both Misty's Gyarados from the Cerulean Gym, and Mew's Red Gyarados come out.
Shocked, May says, "A Red Gyarados? Where did Mew get that?"
Hansen says in remark, "You think a couple of Water Pokémon can beat my Shedinja?"
"We don't think!" Mew says.
"We know!" Misty adds.
Then they both call out, "Flamethrower, Gyarados!"
"What?! NO!" Hansen cries out.
Both launch the attack and nail Shedinja as Hansen screams in horror before it is lowered, burnt to a crisp, and finally falls.
"Shedinja!" Hansen cries out.
"No way! With just one attack?!" May says, shocked.
"How cool was that?!" Tomo says.
"Well, I'd say it was very cool! Certain Water Pokémon can also use Fire attacks!" Misty says.
"You sure are right," Mew says.
Both Misty and Mew's Gyarados roar angrily at Hansen.
Irate, Hansen says, "Why you sniveling..."
Out of sheer rage, the left side of Hansen's mustache and his left eyebrow got burned down.
Suddenly, the king's voice calls out, "Hansen!"
Hansen soon notices the King approaching, and he gasps in horror before seeing his wife and the rest of the group along with Togekiss. along with guards who remained loyal to the King during the whole affair approached.
"Hansen, you're finished," The King says, and commands his guards, "Guards, seize him!"
"Sire!" The guards say, obeying the king's orders.
The guards ran past the defeated Shedinja and surrounded Hansen with their spears, much to his shock and anger, as he realized that his plan had utterly failed.
From a distance, Team Rocket watched Hansen being taken into custody by the guards.
"Aw, poor ol' King Hansen. Likely to be thrown out of his own kingdom," Jessie says.
"Good! Serves him right!" James says.
"Speaking of soivin, the only kinda soivin he's gonna get is time in da dungeon!" Meowth says.
"Wobbu Wobbu!" (And that's karma!) Wobbuffet says.
Later, as the sun began to set, we see the Paradisal Togepi and their evolved forms happily cheering
"Look how much happier they are!" May says.
"All thanks to Faye and Togetic!" Max says.
The Paradisal Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss head back to the portal to their home. The King's Togekiss, also gives her farewell to her partner. Sara smiles to see her father giving Togekiss one last hug, before returning to Paradise with the rest of the Pokmeon.
"Well, there they go, back to paradise!" Brock says.
"I am so grateful!"
"Time for us to say goodbye, Togetic!" Misty says.
Faye flies to Mew and hugs her, and is glad to be with her.
Togetic flies to Misty and explains, "Tic! Getic! Togetic! (Mom. Maybe it's best if I stay here as their guardian, so I can protect their homeland.)
"Hmm?" Misty replies.
Togetic points up and explains, "Tic! Getic! Tic!" (If something else endangers their home, I want to be there to help.)
"You really wanna stay?" Misty asks.
"Getic! (Yes.) Togetic answers with a nod
"I wonder why?" Molly asks.
Princess Sara soon understands, "I think Togetic's afraid if someone evil were to rise up, this could happen all over again," Then asks Togetic, "You wanna stay and protect the Togepi?"
"Toge tic!" (That's right!) Togetic answers.
"Wow, that's so great!" Tomo says.
The Pokemon agree.
"Well, I certainly don't wanna see their paradise all gray and wilty again," Misty says.
"Tic!" (Me, too.) Togetic says.
Then Misty says, "You know, there's another place that needs your protection too. Don't forget about Sara, her family and the entire Mirage Kingdom."
"Getic!" (I won't.) Togetic says.
Togetic looks tearfully happy to Misty as she looks tearfully back at it, knowing it was time to say goodbye.
Misty hugs Togetic, "Togetic! I love you!"
"Ticu." (I love you too!) Togetic says, tearfully.
Everyone looks happy and touched while knowing that it was hard for Misty to say goodbye to Togetic since she raised it for two years, but they also knew that their bond would always be strong in their hearts. Sparkle also joins the final hug of farewell.
All three let go of each other and Misty and the others watch Togetic leave for Paradise.
"Bye, Togetic!" Tomo says.
"Goodbye," Mew says.
"Togetic!" (Bye Togetic!) Faye calls out.
Togetic calls out, "Toge Togetic!" (Take care everyone!)
Misty calls out, "Take care!"
Togetic!" (Goodbye, mom!) Togetic calls out.
Soon, Misty's Togetic enters the gate and vanishes with the mirage of the temple while Misty looks up in silence and smiles with tears in her eyes.
"Well, that's that," Misty says.
Soon, Princess Sara says to Misty, "Misty?"
"Hmm?" Misty questions.
"I give you my word I will do my best to protect their Paradise even without the crown," Princess Sara says.
"Thanks Sara," Misty says.
The princess nods before they all hear a familiar sound. She looks down and sees a Togepi next to her.
Princess Sara kneels to the Togepi, "A Togepi? Why didn't you go with your friends?"
"Toge, Toge!" (No, I'm the one that you were searching for.) The Togepi says.
"The Togepi said no, and that it's the one you're for," Mew translates.
Soon, Misty realizes, "Wait a minute... I think Mew is right. This must be the Togepi you were supposed to find, Princess Sara!"
Princess Sara gasps in surprise and turns to Togepi, "Is that true? Togepi?"
Togepi confirms and jumps into her arms, surprising everyone, but also happy. Because now that Princess Sara has found her Togepi partner, she'll be able to ascend the throne.
"Togepi!" Sara says and hugs and laughs with Togepi.
"That's so great Princess Sara!" Misty says.
"You found your Togepi friend," Mew says.
Princess Sara says, "Oh Misty, Mew, thanks! Thanks to all of you!"
Miranda happily says, "Sara! Now there's nothing stopping your crowning ceremony!"
"You're right, Miranda," Princess Sara says.
The next day, Mew and her friends are out of the Mirage Kingdom, and return to their destination.
"Well, time to head back to Cerulean!" Misty says.
"Please give your sisters my best!" Brock says.
"Yeah, right," Misty says, sarcastically.
"We're gonna miss you, Misty," Jen says.
"Yeah, it was great seeing you again," Molly says.
"I wish I coulda' heard more about your gym," Max says.
Then Misty has an idea, "I know! Why don't you guys come and visit me in Cerulean City?"
"Cool!" Max says.
"Misty says, "May, I'm counting on you to win all your Pokemon Contests. Good luck!"
"Thanks, Misty!" May says.
"Keep up the good work being a gym leader!" Mew says.
"I will! And you take first place in the Hoenn League and maybe the Pokemon Grand Festival as well, Ashley!" Misty says and winks when she mentions the name 'Ashley.'
Mew giggles, "Oh Misty."
Soon, the group begins laughing.
Misty's blimp later takes off as everyone bids her farewell.
With a promise to meet up again, Misty heads back to Cerulean City. And while they continue meeting new friends and parting ways with old, one thing is certain for our favorite Pokemon trainers, the journey will always go on!
Meanwhile, in Togepi Paradise, the landscape is all green and beautiful once more as we find the Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss living happy and energetic as Misty's Togetic looks from above with a smile.
