Six months have passed since the events of Sonic the hedgehog Arc. And in that time much has changed. Now Sonic and company head to space to confront the true cause of all the destruction. As civil war breaks out all around them. Sequel to Sonic the hedgehog Arc

13. Chapter 12 A Reiwa era romance

Japari park, Cellien hive

Ost: Sky chase (Tornado scramble) Sonic Adventure

The cargo plane finally reaches the Cellien hive. Where Kira, Athrun, and Shinn witness a giant gaping hole in the middle of the ocean. For some reason the seawater does not fall down the hole. But instead the water is swirling around the hole. Athrun comments that this is impossible. While Kira noting that everything they've seen makes no sense.

In the depths of the void the hive is in a panic as the Cellien scramble into defensive positions while combatmen are activating a series floating rings as a nuclear reactor below it is being powered on. As the two capsules around it are energized. "Engage the TD core." A flip is switched by one of the Cellien causing the TD pod which had Tails doll, a raggedy looking doll version of Tails sealed inside it surges with power as its prisoner is both electrocuted and drained of energy. Causing distorted screams of agony to rock the hive. The energy focused into the reactor causing steam and sparks to fly out of the frame as the rings fly upward towards the top of the hive. "Engage the LS sensors." Another combatmen was at an old console flipping a series of switches that activate another pod. Causing a similar reaction on another pod holding Lalah Sune. A young Hindi woman with glassy blue eyes and a simple cream dress who is screaming in pain as pulses of energies rock the room with smaller objects being lifted thru telekinesis. Causing the rings to energize and form a conduit that links to each other as the Cellien priestess looks on the process and watches the plane where the ZAFT trio is piloting from a series of long abandoned satellites. After a group of Cellien operators complete the calculations to fire the energy pulse. The priestess orders the weapon to fire as the reactor fires off an explosion that is rocketed off into the sky by the rings.

In the skies above the ZAFT trio was heading towards the giant hole as a massive beam flies off into the sky. Forcing Shinn into taking evasive maneuvers to avoid. "Dammit what's going on?!" Shinn screams as Kira and Athrun hold on for dear life as the giant beam bends towards the plane. Shinn dodges again and again as Kira and Athrun are freaking out. "What is that?!" "Requiem?!" "Are you serious Athrun?!" Shinn then tells them to zip it as he trying to avoid a giant fuck-off laws of physics beam. At least until the beam shreds thru the left wing. Causing the plane to fall down. Shinn manages to steer it towards the hole and manages to safely crash land it inside the hive.

The trio exits the wrecked plane banged up and wounded as Shinn falls on his butt in exhaustion. As Kira and Athrun notice that their weapons and equipment are busted. With their mobile gear having both it's data completely corrupted by the beams radiation and the machinery has broken down into complete uselessness. Athrun questions how all of this is doable as Celliens aren't smart enough to create weapons. "This can't be. This technology can't be from this world. Requiem, a dedicated disruption field, chunks of mismatched machinery all around." The trio is forced to flee when a Big Dog reaches the plane crash and fires off a beam to blow it up before leaving. Shinn asks Athrun what will they do next. With Kira getting a newtype flash. "Lalah is in danger. That way." Kira points to a tunnel as the three head towards the tunnel. Sneaking around patrolling other Cellien sentries.

Chapter 12: A Reiwa era romance

Six months have passed since the universe was returned to normal thanks to the actions of the Resistance. Still the scars of Spiral island remain. With many having died and coming back to life. After these events the IFS has began its oppressive crackdown in order to end any opposition to their rule. This has led to an attempt at an united separatist movement to either stop or secede from the IFS. It is the year Third history 8932. The three galaxies that were once united under the banner of liberation from evil have now become the oppressors. Civil war is threatening to tear worlds apart. And the belief that the empire will collapse is common.

But this is another story...

Apr 1 t.h. 8932: Planet Wisp Abandoned plant #36

Planet Wisp is rocked by explosions and blaster fire as Voyager-Oh three side fought Alex Kidd in the Dark Sonic Arc. An evil copy of the original Sonic Arc. With the two slugging it out across the half built Eggman facilities. "Damn you, Sonic!" Alex screams in rage as he summons dual Sonic tomahawks with Sonic countering with his own. Trading blows as the construction site is hacked apart. With Wisp's fleeing en masse. Long Voyager and Builder Voyager are striking down the rest of the IFS forces. Kon as Builder was fighting off a squad of Vortex interceptor. Spinning its crane arm at high speeds to deflect their shots. Knocking them out the skies before being trampled by Builder's scoop and wheels.

The interceptors leave and the bombers descended as they readied for a bombing run. As they prepare to level everything they are sniped down one by one from the ground. Until the last attempted to flee but had a giant boulder tossed at it by Kon. Crushing the engines of the bomber which caused a chain reaction that caused a lethal explosion. Truck Voyager then exits his hideaway inside a bombed up building with Knuckles noting. "I don't suppose we can trade Kon? Guns aren't my style after all. Amy rings the duo telling them that she needs help as she swats away Guardsmen from the Starpatrol with her hammer. Who are being set on the back foot. Panicking as they try to gun down Amy but fail as she dodges and tanks all of the attacks.

The Guardsmen scream in panic. "Where is our backup?!" "We need to retreat now!" "Sweet merciful Satan no!" With the sights and sound of chaos rock the underground. Another group attempts to sneak into the ship. But they are all shot down by the ships security. And a Demolition Guardsmen. With it's white and bright red orange sloped armor that is curved and sleek, and an external visor as extra protection. The team was intercept by an ambush of Buildoras with one even managing to fire off a tentacle that triggered the demolition troopers bombs located in the backpack. Causing a large explosion that took out the Guardsmen and damaging the Buildora. Causing it to fly away and crash into a metallic crate smashing its armor.

Amy is then met by a Heavy Guardsman with a mobile hover turret. These heavily armored variants possess large boxy shoulders and reinforced gauntlets and boots which serve as additional physical enhancement frames allowing a Heavy to lift ten tons with ease. Colored white and pale gray with emergency markings in the end of their gauntlets and boots and for some reason they all speak with a thick Eastern Russian accent. It is rumored that it is part of their training as the RED organization helped train all of the specialized variants. Amy stumbles and states. "Oh shit." As the heavy readied its large primary gun firing a spray at Amy who flips over it and goes into a fistfight with the Heavy. Knocking it away by slamming his gut with her hammer. Hijacking the turret and firing it at the Guardsmen. Mowing down those who cannot retreat.

Long Voyager uses hit and run tactics to blow up the Guardsmachines before being shot dead center by a group of heavy beam cannons causing her to crash and de-morph. The shots are fired by the LWT-986: Mahawks. Older but more powerful heavy assault units. Possessing the same face as said waltzers only colored white and gray with a wide torso holding four bulb shaped cannons on it's chest. It's long slender arms have clawed pincers for hands with a beam emitter in the center and the legs have EX gear plating giving it hovering capabilities.

The Mahawk began hovering towards Gekkou attempting to stomp her flat. Only for Knuckles to attack with his beam cannons then returning to his echidna form as Kon created a barrier around Gekkou so she could escape. The rest of the Mahaks split up with two heading towards the one Knuckles is climbing. Finally reaching the chest cockpit, tearing it open, and tossing the pilot overboard before being forced to jump and glide away as the other Mahawks use their chest cannons to destroy their comrade and then switch to the arm mounted beam emitters for both precise fire and beam vulcans to pin down Knuckles. But is then tackled by Builder Voyager who knocks one out as it its beams fire all over the place. Slicing his partners right arm clean off before falling and explodes. Then Gekkou ice slides like Iceman towards the other Mahawk's blind spot. Stabs her sword in the left arms shoulder joint and freezes it until it shatters which causes a chain reaction that causes ice to erupt from inside, causing numerous explosions. And killing the pilot with explosions and ice that consumes the cockpit until it erupts outside the mech causing it to collapse with numerous components landing onto the other Mahawk. With a giant chunk of ice and ceratanium landing on top of the other IFS pilot. He survives, but had every bone in his body destroyed and his skull was caved in.

Sonic and Alex Kidd are still fighting as components of their giant robots. Seemingly at a stalemate until Alex transforms from Dark Sonic Arc. Into Dark Knuckles Arc. A black and red version of the original that utterly shocks Sonic and Tails as Alex pushes back Voyager-Oh and begins wailing on it. A gleeful Alex laughs like a maniac claiming victory as he tries to tear open the Core Voyager to a sickening creaking noise as the frame gives in. That is when Caliburn appears noting. "So you need my help again? Before coming out of the Core Voyager and planting himself in Knuckles Arc's torso. Firing a point blank Excalibur on him which sends the machine flying and crashing into one of Eggman's trolley systems. Not giving up Alex transforms into Dark Tails Arc. Flying upwards and firing off all of its funnels. Whose beams are deflected by Caliburn and then shot down by Sonic and Tails weaponry. Alex changes into Knuckles Arc again to attempt an aerial double fist drop. But fails as Sonic and Tails combine their powers of speed and flight to dodge the attack and recover. Alex then switches into Dark Sonic Arc. Speeding all over the area before attempting to hack the two apart from behind with a pair of Sonic tomahawks. But Tails simply notes. "How predictable." As Sonic parries the attack with his Sonic tomahawks then tosses both of them at Alex which split into six tomahawks that pin down Alex in the arms, waist, and legs to the floor. "Tomahawk illusion!" Then leaps upwards grabs Caliburn and begins to charge him in mid air. "EXCALIBUR!" Voyager-Oh fires off a golden beam of light that lands on a powerless Alex. Obliterating the area to the point of leaving a crater where Alex is now laying. Alive, but badly hurt and naked as he curses Sonic and the Voyager-Oh who leave as the Starpatrol rises from it's hiding spot.

Inside the Starpatrol which is escaping Planet Wisp the crew is now in the cockpit as Kon pilots the ship with Knuckles in one of the command consoles. With Tails on the captains chair readying the warp system to travel to Oratorio. "Well that was an unpleasant little detour." Amy complains while Gekkou remarks that it wasn't so bad as she is playing with a group of Wisps with a smile on her face alongside Caliburn. Tails then asks. "So what's Oratorio like." Kon answers. "A mess. It was originally going to be terraformed but a prehistoric pathogen was released killing the whole project. The only reason why it's even inhabited is because of the Youma presence. Being the home of Kanzaki heavy engineering who are the creators of Spiricle technology. And Bestials, giant monsters born of said prehistoric pathogen." Sonic facepalms after hearing this commenting. "I've got a bad feeling about this." Before calming down and smiling again. "Well whatever happens, happens."

Apr 2 t.h. 8932 Planet Oratorio, Steam Tokyo

Valery Kaminski and Ciseaux are watching over the skyline of Steam Tokyo from an old bell tower. Due to the fog and moisture in Steam Tokyo it is one of the few places where brick and mortar is commonly used as building material. And while the buildings still use metal frames as a foundation they are hidden within the masonry. Giving the colony an old fashioned appearance based off Japan's Taisho era. By coincidence primarily as most records of the Taisho era have been lost and distorted. "Sha sha sha sha sha! Now the wretched Combat Revue will pay! I can't wait to see that ticket taker and the samurai girl's faces when we kill all of their friends!"

Kaminski simply smiles and remarks. "In that we can agree with. I still have a bone to pick with Sakura." The duo look upwards as the crack in the sky grows. "The Kouma king is dead and now those bastards are going to return." A woman's voice then interrupts the duo telling them. "Yes rabbit. But we have been gathering our forces thanks to the dearly departed BLACK revue." Ciseaux angrily turns around screaming. "Who are you calling a rabbit! And... Holy..." The woman, tall and well endowed, with white hair in a neat bun. Wearing a sleeveless dark blue dress with black thighs and high heeled black shoes. Ciseaux is visibly drooling at the gorgeous woman who simply walks past him introducing herself as Leyla M. Ruzhkova. "Layla? I didn't expect you to be here." "Is it really that strange. After all I love you." Lelya wraps herself around Kamiski and smiles at the man. With him smirking back. "Are you sure? After all your sister and her friends are there." Layla simply glares in anger for a moment. Something that Ciseaux notices as Leyla regains her previous expression. "Klara made her choice. Anyways let's go Kaminsky. Gaze upon your new army." Ciseaux then butts in declaring. "And now with miss Leyla on our side the Phantoms of Paris are reborn!" Leyla shuts down Ciseaux as he and Kaminsky leaves. The rabbit man simply steps back in annoyance and suspicion sensing that something is amiss.

Kanzaki entertainment section

Team Sonic, except Kon who is on the ship dead drunk. And Tails who is locked away in the Starpatrol. Were seeing the sights of Steam Tokyo with Gekkou guiding them through the city. Sonic asks Gekkou about the place only for the dragonkin to remain quiet. "Maybe we should ask someone else about where the Imperial revue theater." That is when a young girl with a cheeky grin straight out of Spongebob Squarepants appears from out of nowhere scaring everyone except Gekkou who remains stoic. "Did you say you're looking for the Imperial Revue theater?!" Before shoving her face inside Sonic's boundaries. Leaving an angry Amy to drag her away and demand answers. "Okay missy! Who are you, and why are you here?" The young human girl's ahoge points upwards in an exclamation point noting. "Oh yeah. I am Captain Itsuki Saijo of the Imperial Revue's Moon division! And it's biggest fan." Itsuki salutes in a youthful and energetic manner as Team Sonic looks at each other questioning her claims. Knuckles asks how does that work. "Well I was originally a NEET that hung around the theater all day long. And when the Kouma came back Miss Sumire gave me a job since I would work for free! Oh but don't worry! I signed a waiver that exempts Kanzaki heavy industries from injury, death, and legal and moral responsibility! Anyways about the Revue!" Caliburn, who has been floating around the group all this time with no one paying it any mind notes that the girl is unhinged only for Itsuki to get on the swords face and go on a tangent about the revue. With the rest of the team leaving him with Gekkou starting to actually do her job and lead them to the revue.

Tails was at that time working on the Starpatrol and looking up schematics on the Voyagers. "The last fight was too close for comfort." Tails looks over the designs of Voyager-Oh and other combinations. Looking over the schematics alongside the original Sonic Arc and it's three forms alongside it's dark counterpart. "Still, how did Alex get his hands on such a power? Not just a copy of the Sonic form, but also Knuckles and mine. And here we are without an Arc form. Having lost the form after the reset. Even the Dragon form would have problems." Tails then looks at other data involving the second Core Voyager noting that it cannot be used due to their respective pilots being spread out as well as Ronin-Oh and Veloci-Oh." Frustrated Tails simply types in some commands so that the mainframe can search for anything as he gets some lunch. Only to be stopped as the computer found something. "Forgot. This Reibai stuff is built for quality." Tails sits down and notices several notes involving a five piece combination for Voyager-Oh. "Of course there would be one of these. Kagemusha is too much of a mecha geek to not have attempted one. Maybe I can make some adjustments, or even find a way to create power ups without the Reibai group's help."

Team Sonic finally reach the theater. A massive square shaped location in the middle of main street with a Shinto shrine in the center. With a tower on the left corner and several flags flying all over the entrance. Fog manipulation machines that ensure sunlight in the area are located in the sidewalks and steam powered vehicles traveled across the streets. Knuckles notes. "This is going to be hell on my fur." Suddenly sparks of green lightning sweep over the echidnas head causing his fur to turn into an afro. Then they see Caliburn fleeing Itsuki and Sonic, Knuckles, and Gekkou head inside. All the while Amy just leaves to do window shopping in the commercial district.

Deep inside the long abandoned tunnels at the perimeter of Steam Tokyo. Areas that after the failure of the terraforming project were sealed away. With the remnants becoming converted into a sort of red light district. Where the Phantoms were meeting. The group was in a strip club with Ciseaux putting 2000 meseta bills on one of the strippers while Kamisky looks unamused. "Why are we doing this rabbit?" "I am not a rabbit Kaminsky!" Leyla then shows up covered in blood and holding on to a lead pipe. "Are you done Leyla?" The demon smiles at Kaminsky telling him that she's done. Ciseaux gets up from his couch and nudges the rest of the group to leave.

The trio head to an area in the outskirts where a force of Kouma were waiting alongside the Prelude. First the Prelude which has been heavily modified into the SF-06-C2: Prelude. And even more altered version of a stolen Kobu frame. Having a similar rabbit faced body colored white with golden leaf plating, with digitigrate legs instead of the usual leg frames with heavily armored lower legs with land-spinners. Armed with machine vulcans and ears that can now detach into scissor bits. And new arms, the right one having an auto-cannon and retractable sonic nails and the left one being a variable missile launcher.

Second being a small army of SA-106/MP: Klapthrapa. A spiricle assaulter or a bootleg spiricle due to them being based off the Prelude whose base unit was a stolen Kobu. While litigation was attempted against Douglas-Steward who also made the similar Japhkiels which are automated combat drones that utilize demon organs to mimic the spiritual properties of an actual spiricle. But the design was sent underground. And is now given to any criminal that can pay for them. A group of lead colored short and squat drones. Even smaller than a typical spiricle with four camera eyes shaped like a spiders with the same chicken legs with a landspinners only with less armor but larger feet and a top mounted rotating mass cannon, a rotating bottom mounted laser pulse weapon. A device that fires laser beams at short intermittent bursts. With an optional pair of drill arms as weaponry. Kaminsky whistles in amazement noting. "Money well spent I see." "Sha-sha-sha-sha! Indeed. The departed Kouma king's hidden assets were quite useful. Now let's get to work."

Imperial revue theater

Finally inside the theater, Team Sonic is in awe of the revue's lobby. Throngs of customers wandering the brightly lit halls with classical Western architecture which draws Knuckles attention. "I can't believe that places like these still exist. I only saw something like this in history books." Gekkou meets up with Knuckles and notes. "Don't you mean history files?" Referring to files a sort of smart tablet that is designed to last for many millennia and shaped like an ancient stone slab. "No books. The actual paper kind from the first history. When Angel island came to Mobius we searched the ruins of Earth for anything worth salvaging and managed to gather many books of old." Gekkou noticed her companions choice of words asking. "You people didn't emigrate to Mobius like all of the others?" "No, we were always there for some reason. The master emerald protected us from both detection and the radiation of the old Earth. And it had stayed that way for millennia." "Until Eggman crashed the party?" Knuckles angrily nods at Gekkou remarking. "Sonic is taking Eggman's death surprisingly well. Worrying about other things helps I suppose." "So it really is?" "Yeah, it was just like Batman and the Joker only backwards. Eggman could never manage to kill Sonic. And Sonic would never kill Eggman because he's too much fun. Why else do you think he was treated as a local problem by the government?"

The two are then intercepted by a woman with a distinct Osakan accent. "Hey you two, are you new to the place?" A short woman with orange hair in twin-tails and wearing a sleeveless shrine maiden outfit alongside getas with air shoes modifications. "A dragonkin and a midget huh?" Komachi Oba remarks as she looks at Knuckles at eye level who gets upset at the remark. Komachi ignores it and goes into a rapid speech explaining the theater and it's history alongside trying to sell them souvenirs. To the point where Knuckles had to buy the entire stock in order to get her to shut up.

Sonic and Tails are looking at a series of old posters. Tails notice that one of them is sealed in a protective case bolted to the wall. Noticing that said poster is of a play of Momotaro. With a young swords-woman with long and shiny black hair in a ponytail with a red ribbon and a distinctive katana at her side. With a golden hilt and a wooden sheathe bound by bandages. That's when an older woman in a fancy purple kimono with white feathered stole on her shoulders. "Sakura Shinguji. She was the star of this theater and my best friend." Sonic and Gekkou notice the woman with the latter saying. "You're miss Sumire right?" The woman smiles and introduces herself as Sumire Kanzaki the manager of the revue. "You must be Sonic. Princess Sally told me all about you and your friends. I'm sorry about your friends." Sumire remarked as the atmosphere darkened around them. Sonic then notes. "It's fine. Eggman is dead now. So now they can rest in piece." "You seem rather resentful Sonic."

"My fellows, whether from Acorn, other nations, or the stars beyond. We have gathered to remember all of the people whom we've lost over these few weeks. This past few weeks have been tragic. And it is clear that nothing will be the same anymore. But still, we must be strong. Not just because of the challenges before us. But to honor the sacrifices of those who have fallen before us in order to protect the world. For without their noble sacrifices, we would not be here. These people, who have died in the line of duty are as follows...

King Acorn's words are remembered by Sonic who then looks at Sumire dead in the eye and stating. "He went too far that day." With a coldness and hostility that leaves Gekkou shocked. With Knuckles and Komachi joining them. Sumire notices them and asks where the others are. Tails explains. "Tails is working on the ship, Amy went off shopping and Caliburn..." The front door of the theater explodes as Caliburn is running from Itsuki who is trying to what is essentially a forceful conversion towards the revue. Something that freaks out Caliburn so bad that his knightly composure is shattered. "Stay the fuck away from me you thot!" While Itsuki is chasing after the flying sword with an old camera screaming at him to take a picture with her. Sumire coughs as she asks the group to follow her inside.

"Eggman." Sonic." The duo stared down each other before going back up after transferring the emeralds while reverting back to Super Sonic Omen to the now headless Arc.. With Tails guiding the others in repairing the Arc. As they go upwards Eggman begins to talk. "So, let's hear it. The usual taunts and insults. The same ridicule that got me stuck with my name." Sonic simply flies upward. Silent and determined. Which actually unnerves Eggman for a bit. "Oh come on! Do you really think you can kill me? You need me! Without me you wouldn't exist. You're just another of my creations like Metal and Sage. Or do you really plan to go back to a peaceful life?" Sonic curtly responds with. "Metal is dead. He was annihilated by the same monsters that destroyed your empire." Eggman nonchalantly responds with. "Meh, I've already replaced him twice. So who cares?" Sonic simply looks at Eggman once more. Silent, furious, and judgmental. Until finally reaching their destination. Where the two charged up their fists and swung. Only for Eggman to purposefully miss and take the blow as a sphere of darkness rose to the heavens erupting into a black hole. Shocked Sonic demands to know what he did to which Eggman replied. "I call it Operation Rage Quit. If I can't become god. NO ONE WILL!" Sonic tries to fight but is sucked up alongside Eggman who continue their battle while trying to outrun the black hole. With both parties keeping up with each other while beating each other up.

The battered Arc is also being pulled up by the black hole alongside what is essentially ruins and rock with Kagemusha complaining about it. "Seriously? Why is it always black holes?" Monika responds with. "At least you can live through it. The rest of us are hosed." Sticks retorts with. "You're making that up right?" Touka states that Kagemusha really did go through a black hole which the badger refusing to believe. Tails cuts in by saying that he is done. And somehow not only does the wrecked Arc starts flying. But the head of Super Sonic Arc is replaced by Tails own, popping out like a turtle's head who begins to fly towards the hole. "What now?" Amy asks. "Get ready to bail on mark everyone." As the fight continued between Sonic and Eggman the two are engaged in a wrestling lock as they are being sucked into oblivion. "Face it Sonic. We are two sides of the same coin. Without me, you're nothing!" Sonic senses the Arc and simply says no before breaking away to Eggman's shock. Being caught unaware by the giant robot belly flopping into him as the rest of Team Sonic and company flee, carrying the chaos emeralds and the embryo to avoid the hole. Meanwhile Eggman can only scream as both him and the Arc are swallowed up by the black hole which then collapses on itself and explodes for good measure. With Sonic finishing his sentence. "Unlike you Eggman, I have friends. People who care about me. So I can move on from you. Sayonara, Dr. Robotnik." As everyone falls a bright light consumes what left of Spiral mountain. And then there is silence.

Everyone but Sonic enters. Questioning if he did the right thing.

"Is it over?" Knuckles as everyone gets their bearings together. With Sonic and Madoka heading to the broken and burnt corpse of the demon king with the emeralds all falling over the ground. Madoka herself comes closer to check the body only for Kagemusha to come back to life with her wounds healed. "That sucked... And what's worse is that i'm still alive." Knuckles heads over and asks. "You know if you wanted to die. Why go thru all this?" "Knuckles!" "It's the truth Amy." To which Kagemusha replies. "If I could do it. Wouldn't you think I would do it?! I'm still immortal even now! How would all of you feel if all of your friends got old and died while you stayed the same! Over and over, until the end of time! That's why I agreed to do it. Because the only way that Madoka can be safe is if Kyubey and me were never born! Now do it. After all i've done i'm sure you all want revenge now. The only thing I have left is my immortality and time manipulation powers. So i'm sure you'll enjoy beating me up for days!" Finishing her speech with a bitter but resigned tone. "Fine by me!" Knuckles replies with Homura smiling in expectation. And as Knuckles readied his punch Madoka gets in the way and Sonic and Tails grab his arms. Later Madoka hugs Kagemusha who alongside Glasses Homura are downright incredulous of what is happening. "That's enough all of you! And Homura-chan, both Homura-chans I know you both care a lot for me. But I don't want a world built on sacrifices!" Homura replies with a passionate. "She's not me Madoka! She needs to die and if you won't do it I will!" Madoka simply exhales and calmly states. "If you do that. If you take the path of a killer. Then you will become the Demon king Kagemusha." Those words manage to diffuse the conflict and as Madoka let's go. Monika takes her place hugging Kagemusha while crying which leads to the latter to hug her back.

"At the end of the day, am I just like her? Spreading hatred and vengeance all over the cosmos?"

Amy is meanwhile window shopping across several outside stores located in the business district. Rows of three story buildings where the bottom floor is the location of the store. The top floor being housing for the locals. And the middle floor being used for a variety of reasons. Noting that these kinds of outdoorsy mom and pop shops don't exist in Mobius anymore. According to her uncle Robin these were common in their homeland of Mercia located in Eurish. "It's been a while since i've been home." Amy pulls old deck of tarot cards thinking. "Uncle Robin. These cards guided me to Sonic and helped me become who I am now. I wonder, are you proud of what I have become? In the end I never did get to avenge your death. But Eggman and his minions are all gone now. Still, we lost so many to do so." The hedgehog then notices a smell coming from a shop in the corner. Suddenly becoming hungry she heads towards the store where she looks at the sign. "Shenlong restaurant. Authentic Old Chinese cuisine for cheap. Old China? Isn't that one of the old earth nations that were destroyed during the magical girl wars?" She also notices a chibified spiricle. This one green and having draconic features and seemingly customized for hand to hand combat. With it's large clawed gauntlets with pile bunkers, a taller more humanoid posture and a segmented tail serving as a counterbalance.

Amy entered the store. Which she notes is an old fashioned Chinese food store. As she looks around the packed store she is met by a young and eager girl in a yellow quipao and ox braided brown hair who strikes up a conversation. "Are you a mobian?" Amy is silently shocked as the girl continues to speak. "We don't see many anim let alone their subspecies around here." The young human drags the pink hedgehog to a stall and plops her in an empty stall next to two human women. A tall one with platinum blond hair and a fierce expression waiting for her food. And a grouchy girl with orange hair in twin-tails and wielding a neutral frown fiddling on a computer. The two wore similar uniforms. One silver and the other orange with vests with coattails, black sleeves and pants, white gloves and boots, and finally small officer caps. And the cook, a young man and another human with with sandy brown hair in a long braided rat tail with emerald green eyes and a scar on his cheek. Even Amy had to admit that he was handsome. Only for the girl to glare daggers at the hedgehog.

"Relax Yui. These are our customers." Yui frowns at being told that as the cook introduced himself. "Anyways my name is Xialong Yang and this is Yui Huang. Part of the Neo Shangai combat revue.

Amy is surprised to hear that as the remnants of old China are far away from IFS space. "Not everyone left. There are a few Neo Chinese settlements. The major ones being Neo Shangai and the Kowloon space colony in the preservation sector." Amy then remembered that one of the colonies in Neptune was called Kowloon located in a place called the hundred moons point. Xialong then points towards the other two while handing them plates of fried rice. "These two ladies are Elise Harlaown and her aide Margrethe." As she points at the older and younger humans who are staring at the rice. With the older one eating the race and the younger one just ignoring things.

Elise freaks out after eating a spoonful and begins describing the food as Margrethe bemoans. "Please ignore the commander, She's a complete weeaboo." Elise remarks. "Just eat the thing."

As the three began eating their rice they began a conversation. "I'm surprised that a mobian came all the way here." "You too Miss Elise?" Yui smiles as she brings in a series of empty plates noting that Mobius hasn't been relevant in eons." Margrethe remarks. "I actually heard some space rumors involving the place. That there are seven multicolored gems that grant wishes." Xialong remarks. "Those are the dragon balls Marge." A surprised Amy asks. "We have dragon balls?" To which the orangette replies. "We had dragon balls. Also it's Margrethe." Amy takes a bite of the rice and agrees with Elise that its good. Causing Xialong to smile in pride. Elise asks for seconds while musing. "Is it true that there are seven towers in mobius?" Amy nods in confirmation leading Elise to be shocked about it. "Usually towers come in one or two like in this world. Or are interconnected in an equatorial orbital ring that serves as a series of orbital elevators and starports. They also serve as energy collection panel relays."

Towers were originally meant to be stations designed tom restore planets destroyed in both the magical girl wars and other skirmishes mostly revolving around lightspeed missiles. Nuclear weapons shot at faster than light speed that are capable of breaking planets. It is said that after the war ended there were around 30 million planets whose biospheres have been utterly ruined. And it took thousands of years for said towers to restore said planets. To the point that many of said worlds were lost and rediscovered. With Mobius being one of them. Being nuked into oblivion after the human rebellions. No one knows why or how the nukes dropped and nobody really cares anymore.

Amy then remembered something important. "Miss Elise, isn't the Harlaown a famous naval family or something?" "Yes but i'm a distant cousin of them. And unlike them I can't use magic. Or at least their magic." Amy is confused as Xiaolong explains about Midchildia magic. "The Mid's use a different style of magic than us. Based on math instead of martial arts." "How?" Margrethe notes. "Something about an ancient lost civilization completely unrelated to the ancients or precursors." The group continued their lunch as Xialong and Yuang continue working.

Inside the theater

Back in the theater Sonic, Knuckles, Caliburn, and Gekkou join Sumire as they communicate with Princess Sally. With Tails joining them remotely. Inside the room are also Seijuro Kamiyama and Sakura Amamiya. The captain and vice captain of the revue respectively. Alongside Kaoru Rindo, Sumire's personal assistant and financier. And Reiji Shiba. The groups mechanic and set designer. Involved in the construction of the Mugens and more recently the SSK-A88 Temjin. The first general purpose mass produced spiricle striker. The culmination of his dream of creating a spiricle that anyone can use.

The group enters Sumire's office where a communication link to Acorn castle is activated showing Princess Sally who greets everyone while sitting on the commanders desk of the Resistance command room. "Greetings everyone. Thank you for coming here. Also, where are Tails, Amy, and that dog guy." Sonic notes. "Shopping, science, alcohol poisoning. In that exact order." "I see..." "So why are we here anyways?" Nicole then shows up and downloads data to Tails who is in the Starpatrol as Sally explains the current situation.

"First I have to start on the situation in Mobius. It's not doing well. Even though Eggman has been defeated and the remaining supervillians are keeping quiet. It seems that the remnants of the empire are trashing everything with a group of new giant robots. Apparently Team dark has already blown up ten of them. Khan and Gemerl are globetrotting in order to locate other resistance groups, help the people in the empire, and Khan punched out twelve giant robots by himself. Surge and Kit have been press-ganged by GUN."

Back in the Starpatrol, Tails notices this and says. "What the fuck?"

"Also... I'm afraid that Cream ran away. So if you see her...

Tails then screams "What the fuck?!" So loud that it crosses dimensions into the bridge and wakes up Kon who falls on his face in a drunker stupor.

Gekkou questions if they're being sent back which Sally denies. "Actually I need you guys to first help the Revue with the whole Mirror Tokyo scenario. The Revue doesn't have enough numbers and the Temjins are..." Knuckles finishes the sentence with. "Disposable cannon fodder?" Which visibly irks Sumire made worse by Sally saying in a cynical defeated tone. "Pretty much."

And second is that the allies of the IFS forces that attacked Mobius. The endless now." "Isn't that a Xenoblade reference" Sonic remarks as Sally continues her explanation. "Apparently they were originally called the Tea party but changed it because they weren't evil enough. The separatist alliance is planning to start an uprising on multiple planets serving as a distraction for the main assault of the capital of Zeon Zum Deikun." Reiji gets up in surprise telling them. "The flying colony?! That place is a fortress! And it's capable of warping out in order to protect itself!" "About that. We are looking to send it to the planet Halycon." Reiji once more cuts in stating. "Where you plan tom use the planets temporal barrier to disable the colony." The others look confused as Reiji explains the story behind Halycon. "A long time ago the Reibai were doing excavations on the planet having found something on it. The accounts vary but the research team was forced to drop everything and leave. And even then not everyone made it out."

"That's where Team Sonic comes in. In order to assist on the plan you will need to deal with six of the senior members of the Endless now." The files of the five targets are shown onscreen with Nicole explaining the targets. "First off is Space Pope Babylon the 625th. The whole name all at once like A pimp named Slickback. Leader of the space church and accused of embezzlement, human trafficking, sex slavery, pedophilia, and mass murder. He's hiding in Cittin. The church's seat of power where there are some nasty rumors afoot. Second is Smith Wesson, an arms trader and purveyor of all kinds of illegal stuff with ties to the space mafia. He's constantly on the move though so I suggest that he be left for last. Third is Fuu Yperite. A self proclaimed cyber ninja and their deadly doctor. Who keeps a massive prison in Kumai's jungles where enemies of the regime are brutally experimented on. Fourth is Sonoda Noah. The CEO of Fefnir development. Apparently he is building a massive weapons platform in Lunataz with the capacity to launch nuclear payloads." The words nuclear payloads are noticed by everyone. Being well aware that nobody uses nukes anymore. Being banned after the usage of Lightspeed missiles during the AD period. "And finally Raketen. Just Raketen. The president of Ouroborus ballistics who providing said nuclear weapons to Fefnir development. As well as reviving other banned weapons platforms. His hideout is in Gildra 6. Originally an ice world with vast water reserves and a thriving ecosystem which was destroyed by their weapons testing."

Sonic complains. "So it's the same things as the Blights? I just hope this doesn't become a pattern." Seijuro then takes over noting that is pretty much everything as Kaoru pulls up a screen to show the location of the portal to Shadow Tokyo. So far invisible to normals and reaching critical mass with flakes falling from the sky. "So how are we going to seal off the thing?" Knuckles questions only for Sumire to say. "We will let it open."

Back at the Starpatrol Tails is having a full on conniption as Kon tries to calm the fox down and stop him from storming outside.

Sakura looks away sorrowfully and explains to everyone. "If the gate opens we may be able to free our seniors. The original Imperial combat revue." Sumire continued. "Twelve years ago they sacrificed themselves to seal away Shadow Tokyo. But that was a temporary measure. We hope to enlist your help to save them and ensure that no demons would overrun the defenses of our city." Sally facepalms in frustration warning Sumire about the dangers of messing with such forces. Reminding everyone about all of Eggman's fuckups. Which took a good seven minutes straight to note. Something that leaves both Sumire and Sakura unable to counter the princess advice. Kaoru then mentions. "Unfortunately..." Sirens blare across the theater as the civilians are escorted underground and Shinjiro and Sakura leave the room. Sally snarks at Sumire telling her. "I see that the sky is falling." Kaoru then said. "Actually it's some sort of spiricle attack." Which left everyone stunned at first and then to scramble in a panic. As they leave the office and split into Team Sonic heading outside and the Revue heading underground towards the spiricle hangar.

Outside the theater

Amy exits the Shenlong restaurant after finishing her lunch. Taking a stash of pork and shrimp egg rolls after getting yelled at by Xialong over buying Philly cheese-steak egg rolls. "Ugh, purists." Amy bemoans as she looks at the egg rolls dreaming of giving some to Sonic before being blindsided by a massive railgun shot that hits dead center at Amy's located. Which while Amy easily shakes off, she notices that the egg rolls were destroyed by a Klapthrapa who fires another shot. Amy dodges the supersonic shot. Summons her hammer and deflects a third bullet that blows up the upper half of the Klap..Followed by Amy jumping upwards and crushing the machine with a Giganthammer. Which is Amy's hammer growing to the size of a house before striking something. Crushing the machine like a cockroach as another group shows up as backup.

Amy is forced to dodge several Klapthrapa blow up several buildings in the process before hammering one into pieces. Causing it to combust and explode into a shower of meat and ooze. The others home in on the hedgehog before being sniped by a Temjin using a large anti material sniper rifle with a large canister shaped container that holds spiritual energy as ammo. Followed by a group of Temjins. The Temjins themselves are humanoid mecha that much like other spiricles are usually a third of the size of a Waltzer with the Temjin being seven feet taller. With a sleek humanoid body, a distinctive elongated dome shaped cockpit in the head with a gap in the middle and twin antenna on the sides from which mission packs can be inserted for more utility. It is in essence a mass production Mugen and it's current packs. The SAK-T96: Raijin and the SAK-T93: Enjin were based off the Tenjin and it's flight capabilities and the Prototype Obu with it's superior firepower alongside Kohran Li's customized Kobu.

That is when her Emerldriver appears on her right wrist which is using an instrumental version of My sweet passion as a ringtone. Picking up the proverbial phone and contacting Tails as explosions and fleeing civilians surround her. "Amy! Head to the Imperial revue and meet up with the others. I'll be heading there on the Tornado as well.

As the reunited Team Sonic heads to the battlefield. Gekkou lunges forward with her sword where she is met by a strange masked figure with wielding an ornate saber. Clad in pure black and golden trim with a full mask similar to ones a plague doctor would wear. Alongside fancy dress hat with a white plumage. With her body obscured by a concealing opera cape and a mechanically distorted voice he introduces himself while fighting Gekkou. "So you're Iroha Tamaki's last pupil?" Gekkou reacts in shock as the mysterious man draws first blood while leaving over Sonic who attempted a spin attack and then easily fought off everyone else who dog-piled on him. "My name is Masque de Corbeau. One of the Phantoms of Paris and an agent of Aoi Satan the demon king." Sumire meanwhile was watching everything from the revue's CIC room shocked at the revelation. Tails flies in to the rescue with the Tornado. Firing off his vulcans which are deftly sliced in half. Only to find that it was a distraction as everyone but Gekkou retreated who struck Masque from the back. With the strike blocked by said character. "Those fools abandoned you huh?" Furious Gekkou transformed into Mahou driver Crossbone where she managed to overpower Masque. "Those "fools" have more important things to do! And what how do know the captain?!" "That brat ruined a very important plan of mine. If it wasn't for her mother would still be alive!"

The Tornado dives into the scene firing off it's wing tipped quad blasters. Breaking up the fight as Masque leaps away and fires off lightning from her sword in an attempt to shoot down Tails. With the lightning being deflected by a decoy flare before loop de looping downwards and firing off missiles that directly hit Masque before flying off. Only for the phantom to leap of the smoke saber first at Amy only to be blocked by Crossbone. "Run! I'll handle this bitch!" Amy tries to oppose as a Klaphtrapha leaps towards the group landing next to them and firing off it's laser which is dodged by the group as it cuts thru the theater's doors. Tails swoops in again. Causing a gravity wave that shows the Tornado's switch from cruising mode to clash mode. The Klaph aims and fires it's top mounted cannon and fires at Tails who dodges the shot by moving to the right and being taken down by Knuckles and Amy who punch and hammer the mech into oblivion. Causing an explosion as the Tornado touches down with Tails telling everyone to hop on top of the wings. Amy still refuses to leave with Caliburn noting that they need to go now. As Sonic and Knuckles grab Amy and jump into the plane. Masque tries to intercept but is stopped by Gekkou who entangles the former's leg with a Yatsu no onokoshizuchi then chucking her into the skies before firing off an ice slide which she uses to tackle Masque and and using an Ooube no Senazuchi to use a sustained upwards spinning slash to kick around the masked enemy into another district. Then slamming him into the streets below. Jumping on top of Masque and pointing a sword at her. "What the fuck did you say about the Captain!"

In the skies above Knuckles bemoans. "How many masked weirdos are there running around out there?!" Amy notes. "I just hope Gekkou will be fine." Tails chimes in with. "If we stayed there we would have been literally butchered alive." Something that Caliburn seconds noting that her swordsmanship is uncanny and that only Gekkou can counter her. "Wait she's a girl?" Knuckles comments as the Tornado soars off.

Team Sonic reaches Amy who is facing off against waves of Klaps alongside the Temjin whom outside of the sniper whom was shot down. Are using Enjin packs to bombard hundreds of Kouma as the Tornado soars above only to be intercepted by a Klap that had stolen a Raijin pack after killing the Temjin pilot and fires off it's needle shots at Tails. With Sonic and Knuckles jumping off as Tails and the Klapthrapa. "They can steal weapons too? Great..." Sonic and Knuckles transform into their Voyager forms land in their car modes in top of two enemies crushing them dead and return to their mobian forms. As the two begin fighting the other Kouma's until meeting up with Amy. With Knuckles tossing one of the Klapthrapa's onto another. "Sonic!" "Hey Amy. Long time no see!" Then two hedgehogs begin fighting the robot hordes. Scrapping them with ease and synergy while throwing barbs at each other. With Amy being pissed off about the egg rolls as the Temjin squadron looks on in awe as the trio dismantle the group.

The Imperial combat revue have taken off with Seijiro in his white Mugen with his twin swords. Sakura in her Protype Obu. A pink and white Spiricle similar to the Mugen but with much more elaborate armor with wing thruster and a tachi based of her sword. And Klara M. Ruzhkova in her Tenjin a flying silver mech based of a STAR 1 frame. With large and long arms and thrusters that grant it great aerial speed and agility are heading downtown taking down Kouma as they go. With Klara, a young half demon girl and the youngest member of the revue overall with platinum hair and silver eyes. Soars above and charging up her Tenjin's energy. Firing off a stream of golden beams that destroy the hordes until they are stopped by an azure flash that clips the Tenjin's wings shooting it down. "Klara!" "Who could have done this?" "I see that you are doing well. Amamiya, Kamiyama." The culprit is Leyla who is pulling out Klara from the arm. "Sister, why?" Kaminsky then appears next to Leyla and boasts. "That would be me my messenger." Sakura furious at seeing Kaminsky again swings her giant robot sword at the man. Only for a barrier composed of azure colored crystal to block the blow and spread towards her tachi and Obu. Forcing her to eject her right arm as it completely crystallizes.

Tails outfights the flying Klaphtrapa. Flying upwards and nearing the top of the dome. The latter then fires off it's wing mounted missiles which banks wildly as they chase the Tornado. It's pilot baits all of the missiles as it quickly shifts from cursing mode. All range mode which caused a gravity field caused by the planes Waltzer frame to quickly turn 180 degrees and then back to cruising mode. Using his boosters to clip the enemy Klap who is then pelted by it's own missiles and explodes as Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy finish off the remaining grunts. After it was all done, Ciseaux leaps down cackling in joy as he brings his scissors forward. "If it isn't the furry freaks from last time!" Amy bites back with. "Big words for a fat rabbit with self worth issues." "Gah! You bitch!" Ciseaux fired off his Prelude scissors at Amy crashing the very streets below as everyone is forced to scatter. With Tails and his Tornado squares off against Ciseaux With Tails transporting his Temjin using a Raijin Enjin pack which combines the previous packs. With the flight pack having it's needle launchers and thrusters moved to the sides and replacing the arms alongside a pair of railguns. With the Enjin's twin cannons. And placing it on autopilot to flank then Prelude. With Sonic, Amy and Knuckles helping in the retreat as Tails and Ciseaux square off. With the former exiting the Tornado and using his Wonderhand glove to control both machines. Which attack Prelude is various formations which are easily countered. "Foolish child." Ciseaux weaves around the Temjin closing the distance and punching it all the while firing off his scissors at the Tornado. Slashing the planes underside. Tails heads to Ciseaux's back and summons a barrier of fox fire that the fox fires at the Prelude. Distracting Ciseaux enough to allow Tails to call off the Tornado and orders his Temjin to kick Prelude away and fire its cannons and railguns all at once. And letting Tails get into his spiricle. Summoning his extreme gear and ramming it into Prelude. Wrecking the front left side. Leaving it's left eye camera in ruins as the gear is jammed into it.

"Bastard!" Ciseaux scream as he shoots his arm cannon blowing up it's left thruster. Tails empties it's remaining needle shots. Damaging the Prelude's cannon and blowing up it's right arm. Prelude tries to punch the Temjin with its remaing arm but Tails barely dodges taking out the left wing to which Tails capitalizes by firing it's remaining cannon. With it's beam deflected by the Prelude's scissors which are then launched at the backpack. Critically damaging it and causing Tails to kick away Ciseaux and launch the exploding pack into him before hitting the remaining thruster and waltzer plated then ramming into the enemy spiricle. Using his remaining railgun on it's left side to disable Prelude's by striking it's exposed shoulder joints. "Curse you fox!" "You only have yourself to blame!" With Sonic and company in hot pursuit.

On the other side of the city Klara is fighting her sister Leyla who had obtained a rebuilt Ekaterina. The former using her black and gold mechs lightweight and agility to jump around the battle field while firing her oversized for her craft beam rifle. Being a modified heavy beam cannon from a 16 meter tall Guardsmech. With waltzer plates that grant extra mobility and drastically lowers its weight. While Klara and her Tenjin controlled the airspace. Countering her older siblings beams with a series of precise counterblasts. "Sister! Why are you doing this?" "Because that is his wish Klara." Shocked Klara demands to know if it is Kaminsky who is behind this. Leyla simply smiled and said. "Yes." Causing the younger Nezhada to snap and charge towards the Ekaterina. "Leylaaaa!" With the elder sibling jumping towards the Tenjin as both trade blows in midair before disengaging. "Even after he killed our mother, used us as pawns, and tried to burn Neo Edo you still seek his love and approval?! Klara charges up a massive arrow of light and fires it at Leyla who sideflips away from it with the grace of a ballerina before landing and firing her rifle. Hitting the Tenjin as her teammates are being forced to fight the mooks. "A child like you could never understand the feelings of a woman!" "And why would I want to?!" Klara leaps above Leyla and land a double heel kick on the Ekaterina. Landing it on the pavement as the Tenjin used it as a surfboard before flying off. "You've improved Klara. But your ancient piece of scrap will never be a match for my Ekaterina!"

The Ekaterina switches is rifle's firing mode. Causing it to fire scattering beam shots that lit the skies on fire. The Tenjin puts up a barrier. But it struggles against the Ekaterina. "Don't worry my sister. I won't kill you. Not until I kill the Imperial revue for stealing you away." "You're insane!" "What can I say?" Leyla remarks with a manic demented grin as she switches to a charge shot mode. "Love makes you crazy!" The Ekaterina tries to fire. But is then struck by the iron nails fired from the gauntlet of a yellow Mugen. Causing the Ekaterina to shut down. "Village rule #41: Always trust your friends. That it why you lost Leyla M. Ruzkova." "Please surrender sister! If Kaminsky is back then we need to stop him.

"I would appreciate it if you didn't put any foolish ideas on my angels head." A massive laser beam strikes from above. Annihilating a good block of the city. With Seijuro and Sakura only being saved by Klara's impromptu force-field. And Azami once more vanishing into the shadows. "Sakura! Klara are you alright?" "I'm fight Sei-chan!" "It's him." Klara notes in a cold and angry tone of voice as a golden and ivory white version of the Klapthrapa known as the Klap custom with four glowing angelic wings composed entirely of waltzer plates serving as a flight unit. Incredibly ornate and impractical white and gold armor and a large drill lance as a primary weapon. The machine lands as a young handsome man pops out of it's cockpit. "Ah, it truly has been too long my friends. Oh, and Amamiya over there." Kaminsky notes. Sakura herself responds. "And you're still as arrogant as ever Kaminsky. And as if on cue. Azami Mochizuki suddenly appears on foot and tries to stab Kaminsky from the back in a surprise attack. "Die, Kaminsky!" When the tiny ninja is kneed in the gut by Leyla who has also abandoned her mech. Azami lands on her feet but is forced to fend off a barrage of blows while holding back. With the remaining members of the revue joining Seijuro and Sakura, With Anastasia using her Mugen's steam handgun to shoot Leyla. The others help Sakura get up with Hatsuho asking if her friend is alright. "I'm fine Hatsuho!" With Clarissa using her magic to bombard the area. "We need to go girls!" Anastasia yells with Clarissa noting that they need to find where the Klapthrapa were being hidden. Kaminsky tries to stop the trio by firing an electrical sphere from his lance only for Sakura to cut it in half.

"And here I thought you would go after me first." Sakura taunts as she, Seijuro and Klara surround him. While Azami and Leyla fight each other in the giant robot fight. With all three attacking Kaminsky who drives all three off with his drill lance and gravity surges. Driving off and separating the revue as Kaminsky revved up his drill and attacking the trio. Seijuro attempts an overhead strike only for the Klap custom to block the strikes and cracking both katanas before bodying him. Then heads to Klara looking for blood. "Behold my newfound might! Thanks to the great archdemon!" Striking the Tenjin damaging its armor before Sakura breaks up the fight with a Eternal cherry blizzard. A narrow pink beam that cut thru the streets. "Let's combine!" Sakura orders to which Klara complies and the Obu and Tenjin combine. With the Tenjin separating its body and nosecone which then attach themselves into the Obu. With the Obu ejecting it's wings as they are replaced by the Tenjin's arms as the two fly off into the Obu Tenjin. Taking flight and readies its nosecone beam launcher which the two fire at the Klap custom with Kaminsky countering with an electric surge with both attacks hitting each other. With the Obu losing it's legs but still mobile and the Klap having it's right arm blown up and its lance melted into uselessness. Kaminsky deploys retracts a beam rapier from its back and begins to wield it with his left hand. Taking a fencing position and rushing towards Sakura and Klara. In desperation the duo separates with Klara launching the nosecone at the Klap which strikes the beam rapier causing both to explode. With Seijurou grabbing the remaining arm and chucking him with a judo flip. "Scum! How dare you assault God!" Kaminsky struggles to get up but it causes that his Klap custom to short out as it left leg locks off. Forcing Kaminsky to eject them and as Sakura was firing off a Shining cherry blizzard as she raises her katana above and gathers golden motes of energy which create a massive sword of light which falls on Kaminsky and explodes. Only to find out that it was an illusion and using said afterimages dodges all of the Obu Tenjin attacks as Kaminsky hacks apart the fusion. Separating both and causing them to plummet onto the ground as Kaminsky once more exits his cockpit to taunt them.

The three spiricle struggle to get up as the Kouma leader insults them. "And now I shall become the ruler of Neo Edo. A God and a savior. And the herald to the great Aoi Satan!" Sakura screams. "How long will you keep doing this?!" "That is quite obvious. As the God of the new world I will be eternal! And there is nothing you can do can stop me!"

That is when Leyla struck. Leaping off her Ekaterina and backstabbing Kaminsky while screaming bloody vengeance. Sadly the attack did nothing and as Leyla backed off, Kaminsky shot Klara once more before firing off a azure crystal tendril at the elder Ruzhkova's sibling heart. "At the end of the day you were never anything more that a failure Leyla. Leyla sheds tears as her entire body is crystallized and then shattered in front of the revue's eyes. Even Ciseaux was horrified as he fought off Team Sonic with his Prelude. "My God! You didn't have to go that far!" Only for his critiques to fall on deaf ears and smug self satisfaction. Klara gets up and swears vengeance to which Kaminsky says. "What are you going to do about it?" Klara jumps Kaminsky with her Tenjin. Knocking his custom Klapthrapa and wailing on the mech until it breaks and explodes. Causing Kaminsky to flee with Klara getting off and flash stepping in front on him. And then punching Kaminsky in the face so hard that three of his teeth fall off. She then tackles him into the ground and begins punching him in the head will full intent to kill as the rest of the revue is force to fight off the remaining Klapthrapa. All the while the Kouma agent screams like a little wuss as he is getting his face caved in while yelling at him. "Say my name bitch! Say my fucking name! I said say my name you filthy piece of Putin communist shit!"

Both Tails and Ciseaux then crash into the Revue's battle. With the rabbit man kicking away the Tornado and launching it's scissors to blindside Seijuro and Sakura. With Seijuro taking the bullet for Sakura. As Sonic spin dashes thru the scissors freeing a wounded Seijurou as Knuckles saved the former by ripping the cockpit door and pulled the captain out. And Amy helps with Sakura as Sonic and Tails fight Prelude on foot. Easily dodging Ciseaux's weaponry. With both boosting towards the Prelude. Shattering both of its arms as the screaming rabbit fires off his scissors and used them to sweep the area. Cutting apart property and wrecked machines causing multiple explosions.

Kaminsky finally grabs the Tenjin's fist things. Landing on a grapple as Kaminsky's Klap custom over-clocks it's arm. Shattering them and causing them to explode. Taking down the Tenjin's arms before "headbutting" the revue member. Staggering it before taking out the Tenjin by sprouting limbs made of jagged crystals and punches Klara over and over again. ""Say my name bitch! Say my fucking name! I said say my name you filthy dancing monkey brat!" Before wrecking the Tenjin. Leaving Sakura to fight as Ciseaux pulls a feint that takes down Sonic and Tails. Firing the Prelude vulcans whom the duo dodge while firing his scissors a split second later. Even if the two recover quickly. It's enough for Ciseaux to leap away and reluctantly aid Kaminsky by cracking the ground around Sakura and Amy. Allowing Kaminsky to kick away both.

"God thanks you rabbit!" Ciseaux replied in a somber and bitter tone. "You still have to answer for Leyla. Even if she was a traitor what you did was too much." "Oh? So you did know." The heroes struggle to get up once more as Knuckles calls out Sumire and Sally. With Tails agreeing that this was all too reckless. Kaminsky merely laughs at their despair. "So this is the best that you heroes can do?" With Ciseaux behind him. Pondering betrayal, but stopping as he knew he was out of his league as the Kouma stepped forward. All the while Sumire witnessed it all and prayed for Sakura to come back and help them as the rest of the support crew bared for the worst. Being informed that both Seijuro and Gekkou are safe and being transferred here. And that the rest of the team located where the Klapthrapas were located and were assembling a strike team to stop them. That is when a beam of light coming from Shadow Tokyo pierces the heavens and lands on the ground.

"Don't give up! The spirit of justice will see you thru!" The voice of a man resounded across the battlefield. Followed by a woman's voice. "As long as we breathe evil shall never triumph! For that is our duty and pride!"

Theme of the original imperial combat revue: Geki! Teikoku Kagekidan, Sakura wars

As a pair of white and pink Kobu type 2 shatter the gate open and land on the streets. Pointing their swords at the Phantoms the duo introduce themselves. "Ichiro Ogami!" "Sakura Shinguji! The Imperial combat revue has arrived!"

Kaminsky and Cisaux stared jaw-struck in horror with the former on the verge of a psychotic breakdown. The new combat revue was cheering at the turn of events. While Sumire who is watching all of this breaks down in tears of joy. The two remaining phantoms decide to break off and go after the senior revue members who simply vanish in front of their eyes Sakura leaps forward towards the sun drawing her Kobus sword in a quick draw style as Sakura petals drop in front of the Prelude. And in one swift graceful blow, Sakura cuts the Prelude clean in a vertical half. "Haja Kensei: Ouka Hoshin!" With Ciseaux surviving. But having his clothes torn apart with his top hat being cleanly cut in half revealing tiny rabbit ears. And causing him to faint. Falling face first off his pilot chair. His naked body bare for all to see. Kaminsky, unwilling to lose now transforms his spiricle into a monstrosity. It's arms mutating into muscular forms with crystal spikes and three fingered claws. Frog legs with crystal armor plating. It's wings shed becoming four demonic bat wings. And it's chest splits oven vertically revealing a fanged mouth with a slithering tounge and curved devil horns made of crystal. Which roars into the sky as it fires crystals onto the battlefield. Which he uses to bank his beam shots. Forcing everyone but Ogami to dodge. With the former captain saying. "An attack like this..." And then uses his katanas to deflect every one of the twenty shots back into the crystals destroying them simultaneously. "Is nothing against my burning spirit!" Everyone is in shock with Seijuro noting as he is aided by Knuckles. "Ichiro Ogami. So that's the swordsmanship of the legendary captain himself." Not even bothering to hide his awe and jealousy.

Shinguji takes advantage telling Kaminsky that he is wide open before cutting his right side wings. Making him fall as the elder Sakura proceeds to send Kaminsky on the back foot and managing to land several injuries before vanishing and reappearing as a pair of quick blurs with Sakura petals around them. "Hyakka Ryoran!" Causing green blood to erupt from the wounds as Ogami takes over. Sakura herself heads towards he younger counterpart and extends a hand asking. "Are you alright Amamiya-chan?" Sakura tearfully grabs her seniors hand. And states yes. "Good Amamiya-san. Now let's finish that demon." "How?" "Follow my moves!" The two strikers ready themselves as cherry blossoms cover them and Ogami escapes by summoning lightning that strikes Kaminsky and his Klap. "Shine Arakata!" "Resound Amamiya Kusinada!" Both Sakura's swords begin to glow as power flows thru the Kobu and Obu. With both Sakura's screaming. "Haja Kensei: Ouka Tenbu!" As Shinguji fires a massive pink beam at Kaminsky. Followed by Amamiya suddenly appearing above the man and giving him a three hit sword combo before backing off. As both Sakura's then skewer the Klap. With Kaminsky barely escaping as the mech explodes and both Sakura's perform a victory pose. "Shouri no pose!"

Masque suddenly appears in the roof of the tallest of the half destroyed building above. Tossing off a de-morphed and defeated Gekkou from the three floored roof and into the pavement and then snapping her katana in half and summoning an Oracle rod. Which he throws at Ciseaux like a javelin. Landed on his asshole and created the typical explosion that turns someone into a giant monster again with his clothes being miraculously repaired. He then teleports, grabs Kaminsky and kicks away Klara into a brick wall so hard that it breaks into pieces. Saving him from a vengeful Klara who was getting ready to finish him off.

"Transviral! Enhancement! Grow rabbit! Grow!"

"Usa-sa-sa-sa-saaa! Fools! Gaze upon me and despair! As I crush you like the bugs that you are!" That is when Voyager-Oh lands behind the rabbit monster who turns around to face him and tries to fight the giant robot. Only for Ciseaux attacks meekly bonces off before meekly backing off. "I'm not much of a fighter you know..." And then tries to run away only to trip over a train and falling head first on the ground. Sonic then generates a pair of energy saws and tosses it at Ciseaux which slices the rabbit as he gets up from his fall.

"Code break! Never fear the fall!" "Voyager Zepperion!"

Ciseaux wounded and dying states. "As long as the fans demand it. Ciseaux will always return." Then falls and explodes like a mere grunt. With Tails noting that the whole thing was utterly anticlimactic.

Unfortunately it was too late. Above them all the gate to the shadow realm shattered open as purple lightning that damage the colony and take out the Obu and Kobu as collateral as the sheer levels of energy fries both machines. Followed by a long ranged bombardment from a squad of Mahawks. And as another bolt fell and was headed to strike Voyager-Oh. Alex Kidd appears in Dark Sonic Arc to punch Team Sonic away. Leaving Alex to get struck by the lightning. Vastly increasing his power. To the point where his energy surges destroy all of the Kouma. Wreck all of the Spricile strikers both friend and foe. And destroy all of Alex's backup as the former screamed and cackled in delight as he generated a pair of dark purple energy saws to which Alex raised his arms as he charged up his dark variant of the Voyager Zepperion that grows to a massive singular saw that he launches at an unaware Voyager-Oh. "Dark Zepperion circular!" Causing the mecha to explode causing it to violently split apart into its components as a saw the height of Voyager-Oh cleaves it apart. Alex then uses sheer willpower to draw all of the Kouma energy into himself leaving everyone horrified. With both Sakura's attempting to activate their spiricles in desperation. "Move Kobu! Move!" "Obu wake up!"

Sonic and Tails get up as Knuckles and Amy join them. Determined Tails declares. "We have no choice. We need to form the five piece combination of Voyager-Oh." "The what?" Sonic asks as Knuckles and Amy are equally confused. Being forced to dodge Alex and the lightning until managing to hide under some rubble as Tails went on. "Apparently Kagemusha had some extra features built in on the Voyagers. Among them the ability for all of us to combine a mecha that can far surpass the Arcs." Knuckles eagerly states that they should do it. But Tails warns that he jailbreaked the function. And it could lead to unforeseen consequences. Sonic happily tells them. "Let's do this! We can stop my creepy stalker and free ourselves from needing Kagemusha? Sounds like a win win." As he and the other summon their Emerldrivers in collective agreement.

"Code Titan! It's unstoppable! Racing Voyager! Tornado Voyager! Truck Voyager! Buggy Voyager!"

Team Sonic transforms into their Voyager forms firing off their weapons all at once at Alex as Core Voyager rises again. Aiming all of its beam cannons in a sustained barrage as the Voyagers headed back towards the giant flying whale. Tails tells everyone to combine as all four craft go into formation as Alex Kidd. Furious and desperate draws more energy onto himself. Forcing the gate to Shadow Tokyo to be sealed as the magic powering the breach is consumed. Leading to a massive colony wide power surge that could be felt all across the planet. Striking a series of long abandoned ruins in the southern part of Neo Edo. These stone structure begin to stir and collapse as a long forgotten thing begins to stir.

"Code Gattai! Endless Possibilities!" "Five side Gattai!"

The Core Voyager transforms into it's typical three side formation. With it's legs detaching and flying to the heavens. With Truck and Buggy voyager transforming into legs. With the front part of the machines changing into feet. With the back opening into a connecting part. They then combine with the Core voyager. With Truck becoming the left leg and Buggy the right leg. Landing on the ground as the Wonder helm lands on his head. And grabbing onto a giant version of Caliburn.

An exasperated Sonic sighs before noting. "I hate Kagemusha." Tails reminds Sonic that they need her to make their weapons. While Knuckles and Amy are freaking out about becoming legs. Alex is furious as he draws a Dark Rose Calbur and pointed it at Voyager-Oh. Dark Sonic Arc's body sparking with Kouma energy as it's body mutates further. With purple spikes erupting from his body that fire off lightning that Alex fires off at Voyager-Oh which are completely deflected. As Perfect leaps forward striking Sonic Arc with his sword. Followed by Truck Voyager firing off streams of freezing water onto the Black Arc which begins freezing the Arc. "Go get them Amy!" Amy nods as Buggy spins her front wheels until they light up. Followed by a roundhouse kick that shatters the ice that burns the Arc. Followed by a flying knee from Knuckles that sends Alex flying. "And that's why they call me Knuckles!" With both then forming their respective Zepperions and begins to clash with their respective attacks as Calburn and the Dark Rose began to fight separately. "Wretched copies. Feel the code of chivalry." Transforming into Dark Knuckles Arc. Alex screams in pain as energy surges around him. Readying a giant punch. Arc's right arm explodes into a massive spiked hammer that Alex can barely keep balanced as he attempts to crush Voyager-Oh who easily dodges the blows. Even stealing a puryfing the Dark Rose sword into it's original form. And alongside Caliburn fire off twin crescent waves of energy that hammer Dark Arc into the ground.

Alex then flies off as Dark Tails Arc. Firing off all of his funnels in all range attack. Laying waste to everything as both Sakura's and Ogami finally escape to safety. With the latter looking back at Voyager-Oh and wishing them luck and inwardly wishing that his Kobu had other weapons as he is forced to ditch his katanas.

Voyager-Oh flies upward. Dodging attacks and shooting back until rocketing above the dark copy. Placing the Rose sword in the mech's mouth. And summoning twin Sonic tomahawks that combine into a double bladed weapon alongside Caliburn and striking an epic pose with all three weapons and the sun beaming down. Tails fires off a storm of paper tags that while weaker than the Tails Arc's funnels were in the hundreds and eventually cut thru them. As Voyager-Oh and Dark Arc fought. He launched a tomahawk at Voyager-Oh's face. Exploding and taking down then Rose sword. Then re-summoning it to tackle Team Sonic. Then cutting off the double tomahawk, swat away Caliburn. And strike Voyager-Oh in the torso and left arm repeatedly. But adding Knuckles and Amy grants Voyager-Oh, not just the might to tank every blow. But grab the rose sword. Shatter it with pure brute force and then wail on Alex before forcing him to his knees.

With Alex on the ropes the team decides to finish it off. "Now Alex! Feel the power of Voyager-Oh!" With Sonic going super and causing an ocean of green energy to burst out as the entirety of Voyager-Oh is covered in glowing green lines and green power gathers in the mecha's center jewel. Causing green lightning to fall that counters the power of the Kouma and revives the Obu and Kobu who quickly evacuate. "Power is at 200% Sonic!" "Knock some sense into that idiot!" "You can do it Sonic! Avenge the egg rolls!" "Sir Sonic! Show these vile miscreant who they are dealing with!" Feeling everyone's spirits and power added to him causes the inside of the mech to erupt. "Everyone... Let's end this!" Voyager-Oh then poses spreading his arms to the sides before assuming Mazinger Z's breast fire pose.

"Code break! Never fear the fall!" "Chaos Blazer!"

Voyager-Oh fires off a large beam from it's chest. And while Alex does his best to drive it back. Repeatedly switching forms and trying everything he has, Before being overwhelmed by the beam which on contact consumes Alex in a fiery green pillar before shrinking and exploding. Returning Alex back to his normal form in the center of a crater where the beam landed. After his defeat Alex finds himself injured and on the ground. Feeling both his Kouma power and the Dark Sonic Arc form leave him as the local police and military surround the prince with guns drawn. Declaring that he under arrest as a visibly angered Azumi lands on top of Alex before putting him in a submission hold and pulling a kunai on him. While at the same time Hatsuho, Clarisse, and Anastasia find the tunnels where the Klaps were kept hidden and alongside a team of Klapthrapa's and a platoon of armed Resistance troopers manage to secure the underbelly of the colony.

Apr 4 t.h. 8932, Back in the Imperial revue

As the dust settles and the city is starting to recover. With Team Sonic and the Bureau all together in the Imperial theaters staff room celebrating their victory. Alongside Xialong and Yui who brought the catering. And Elise and Margrethe with the former getting drunk alongside Kon. And Margrethe looking on in embarrassment. The girl asked Gekkou who had recovered from the beating with some sports tape covering her right hand noting. "That he was supposed to be ship's pilot. But Tails made him redundant." "Figures..." Gekkou then looks at both her arm and empty sheathe noting. "Is that the limits of my training? (sigh) First things first. Getting better and then getting a new weapon."

Sumire and the elder Sakura are talking off in the corner. Catching up on old times. "I can't believe how much has changed Sumire." "Indeed. To think that Amamiya and Kamiyama are all grown up and part of the revue." Sakura then looks at Sumire's face and notes. "And you've gotten so old Sumire! At least being stuck in the demon realm kept my skin young and smooth." Sumire unsmiles at Sakura reminding her that she is her boss now.

Later on the younger Sakura then asked if they could refer to her as Amamiya when dealing with both of them. With the older one trying to talk her out of it. As Sumire with Ogami next to her calls everyone to attention. "I am glad that everyone has joined us for this day as we have successfully managed to rescue Ogami and Sakura. But we still have more friends to rescue."

Ost: Victory!, Sakura wars

Ogami then tells Kamiyama to get up. "So what's going on sir?" "Kamiyama. You will be the captain of a new anti-Kouma task force meant to rescue our remaining friends and finally defeat the Kouma." Clarissa questions why Ogami wouldn't do that. To which he answers that he and Sakura are retiring to get married and start a family. Something that was met with cheers and applause. "Amamiya will become the official captain of the Imperial Revue with the rest of the team still remaining. Also for the new task force." Xialong, Yuang and Margrethe all stand up and salute. With Xialong introducing the trio as the members of the World combat revue. With Elise being transferred to Steam Tokyo's garrison to train the new Temjin pilots.

That is when Ogami extends his hand to Seijuro telling him. "It's in your hands now Kamiyama. Do us proud." Seijuro looks stunned for a moment before shaking Ogami's hand. "I won't let you down sir!" Itsuki then shows up with a camera. Frightening Caliburn to the point that he flees the room. "Time for a picture everyone. You alien guys join it too." The group gathers as Itsuki says. "3... 2... 1... Victory pose!" As the shutter snaps and everyone can be seen smiling and doing poses for the camera.

Shadow Tokyo

Now we cut to the aftermath in the demon realm where three figures in black hoods look upon the gate above being sealed anew. One of them a cheerful girl notes that it's mission accomplished. While the more serious remarks that they are still stuck here. The duo remove their hoods to reveal Li Kowran a Chinese girl with purple hair that has been tied up in a loose ponytail and having been blind to the point where she needs to cover her eyes with wrappings. And Maria Tachibana. A blonde haired and strict markswoman with a scar on the left side of her face. "Don't worry Maria. Once we find Iris we can all get the hell out this dump. Isn't that right miss Ayame?" The third hooded figure is revealed to be Ayame Fujieda the former vice commander of her original revue. Currently in her demonic Aya-me form. "True, but I suggest that you be careful yourselves. After all I used up all of my resurrections during that mess with Yaksha."

The scene cuts again to a ruined Chinese castle where deep down a hidden lab is found where hundreds of Ciseaux clones are sealed within incubation pods all being fueled by the blue chaos emerald. The mysterious figure overlooking it all being aided in his work by a trio of Cellien combatmen in white lab coats. "I see another one of the clones is dead. At least the Klapthrapa will be useful. Soon, Aoi Satan will return. I will be freed from this time shifted prison. And all who humiliated me shall pay!" The voice is revealed to be a rebuilt Omochao whose frame is still black and purple who begins to laugh maniacally as electric shocks spark across his head and the laugh echoes across the lair with Masque stoically looking on from a corner. Even as far as a chamber where a withered corpse with long blue hair is chained inside.

Apr 30 t.h. Planet Avalice, Paradise Prime, Floating island

Cream the rabbit is walking alone in a busy shopping street. Looking for info on the supposed ancient ruin. Cream takes a moment to note how similar the place is to Angel island. But the town is basically Green hills or Kowloon with it's natural and simplistic buildings surrounding a mountain and rising upwards a large central mountain and large number of races. Giving it a bright and cheerful appearance as the rabbit wanders around the building laden streets and corridors.

Avalice is a world not unlike Mobius. Unlike Mobius which was born in nuclear fire and forged in machines built in the imagine of an ancient race. The technology preservation faction. Who used their knowledge to create the first towers and races like the Anim and the Reibai. This world is home to the original dragon tribes. An ancient race that left for the stars. Said to be the ancestors of the dragonkin. Much like how mobians once came from full blooded anim. But the Avalincians evolved naturally.

Having lost Ugly Sonic. Cream heads to the lower levers of the city. Sneaking into the slums of the city. Crossing across a decayed bridge above a small river and avoiding the thieves and drunks wandering the streets. Unbeknownst to her. Someone is tracking her down. Being impressed at Cream's skills. This panda wearing a Chinese tunic, red scarf, and red tinted sunglasses summons a playing card and tosses it behind him. Causing a dead thief to drop down from above. With the playing having gone thru the mans skull. Spade, leader of the Red scarves then leaps away dreaming of obtaining the treasure of the precursors said to be hidden here.

Tails doll and Lalah Sune were a part of Radiant ZAFT as well. Tails doll was a relic of sprite animation. As a horrifyingly powerful monster. And Lalah is an unique case. She was originally meant to be a villain but apparently readers liked the idea of shipping her with Kira because of their interactions. I actually took the suggestion since it was better than what I had in mind for her.

While the Guardsmachine wasn't really based off any mecha. At most its an evolution of the GUN Belka which was inspired by Orbital frames. With their transformation mechanics being inspired by the frame's flight modes. But the Mahawks was very much inspired by the Gids Geese. Especially its Beam launchers.

The Sakura wars subplot is heating up! With Omochao having "survived" his possession and is leading the Kouma as well as being involved with the Celliens.
