Welcome to chapter four, this'll be rated T for slight language but other than that i hope you enjoy.

Note: i did see a Bugs bunny short called "Bugs Thanksgiving Diet" that aired in 1978 which was the only time Honey Bunny appeared and I'm not using her design from that particular short, I'll be using the 1966 design (Taken from the Wikipedia)

Note: As you'll see in this chapter, i gave Lola the same personality she had in Space Jam as you'll see clearly. And completely unnoticed by me lol.

The last chapter went through a few revisions, but I think I found a point where I'm satisfied.

Chapter 4: Lola vs Honey Bunny. Heart vs Obsession.

Previously:

"How about we get the gang together and play some basketball at the rec center" Bugs suggested.

"Sounds like a plan" Lola said in agreement.

Bugs grabbed his phone and dialed Porky's number.

"H-he-he-hello?" Porky said with his usual stuttering voice.

"Hey i was wondering if you could round everyone up for some Basketball at the rec center later. Lola wants to play basketball" Bugs said.

"S-s-s-sure, what time?" Porky asked. Bugs looked at Lola for an answer, she held up four fingers.

"About four o clock" Bugs said.

"O-o-o-o-okay, s-s-see you then" Porky said.

Now:

(Outside)

The two stepped out of Bugs' house, hoping to get going to the rec center when an unfamiliar voice decided to make itself heard.

"Well, well if it isn't Bugs Bunny. I knew I'd find you here" the voice said.

Bugs' blood ran cold as he turned around to see none other than Honey Bunny standing at the end of the driveway. She was a pale orange rabbit with a white tuff of hair in the center of her ears, she was a few inches shorter than Bugs, she had black eyes just like Bugs, but Honey was wearing Bay leaf green colored eye liner, she had a salmon pink nose and wore a simple cardinal red long sleeve shirt and ever green shorts. Lola thought she could use some fashion advice.

"And who the hell are you?" Honey asked.

"I could ask the same of you" Lola asked in return, redirecting the question.

"If you must know my name is Honey Bunny and i was the ORIGIONAL girlfriend to Bugs Bunny. I've came back for him" Honey explained.

"Somehow I doubt that" Lola said.

"We'll see" Honey said. Bugs took the opportunity to scram out of there.

"Where's he going!?" Honey said, raising her voice.

"Hey! Eyes on me girlfriend" Lola said starting to get a bit annoyed.

"Who do you think you are?" Honey asked. "I'm not your friend"

"I'm bugs' girlfriend Honey. He will NEVER leave me for a slut like you" Lola said.

"How DARE you call me that!" Honey said extremely offended.

"I know you are but what am i?" Lola taunted.

"Grrrrrrh" Honey started to get pissed.

"Sounds like someone's getting heated~" Lola sang tauntingly.

"TAKE THIS YOU BITCH!" Honey yelled as she walked up to Lola and smacked her in the face.

"You call that a smack?" Lola taunted. "This is a punch" Lola finished as she wound up her fist and punched Honey right in her smug face, she actually managed to punch Honey's tooth out as it fell to the concrete below.

Honey held her face with both hands as tears welled in her eyes. Lola laughed tauntingly at her.

"This is priceless, oh man, I have to take a picture of this" Lola said. She quickly ran over to Honey and slugged her arm around her shoulder. Lola took out her phone and pulled Honey in for a selfie. Lola put her phone back in her pocket and began to walk away.

"Yeah yeah, run away to your bastard boyfriend!" Honey shouted. Lola stopped in her tracks and turned around.

"You want to know something? Bugs told me all about you, you cheated on him with THREE other dudes before he broke things off with you. Why can't you get it through your thick skull already? HE MOVED ON WITHOUT YOU!" Lola shouted. "And besides, unlike you i won't leave him any time soon so you can forget about it" Lola finished.

"Besides, you know I'm better than you so why are you playing a game you already lost?" she added.

"Sure, live in that fantasy of yours" Honey said.

"It's not a fantasy, it's the real world" Lola reminded her.

"THAT DOES IT, YOUR DEAD! RAAAAH!" Honey shouted in rage as she charged towards Lola in an attempt to punch her again. She saw this coming and simply stepped to the side making her punch miss completely. Lola grabbed Honey by the arm and twisted it behind her before slamming her to the ground, hard!

"Why don't you get lost you thot, Bugs doesn't need a slutty girl like you, your below his standards anyway sweetie. I'd suggest you take the hint and get out of here. Or do you still want more?" Lola softly suggested but her tone was dripping with venom. Deathly serious and sharp enough to cut through diamonds.

"FUCK YOU, SLUT!" Honey said before shakily getting up and limping away. Lola chuckled as she watched Honey walk away and hop back in her car before driving off and Lola was satisfied, waving at her as Honey flipped her off. She took a look at her nails and frowned.

"That bitch made me chip my nails, oh well, time to get a pedicure" Lola cheerfully said to herself. she found Bugs' bike and rode all the way to the salon.

(back with bugs)

He was at the grocery store getting some more groceries for back home and was already checking out, he bought eggs, butter, milk, cheese, and many others... plus, some more carrots. His carrot stash was getting low.

"Did you manage to find everything ok sir?" the checkout clerk asked.

"Yeah, I did, thanks" Bugs said.

"Can i ask how your day is going?"

"Just some drama with my Ex currently" Bugs said honestly.

"Oh" the clerk said. Suddenly Bugs received a text from Lola.

"Excuse me for a second" Bugs said as he took out his phone and looked at his messages and saw Lola sent him an image of her and Honey in a selfie but on closer inspection he noticed that Honey was missing her front tooth, above the image was the caption "Do you want to date someone like this?" and Bugs had to resist laughing.

"Alright sir that'll be $120.87 please" the clerk said.

(After shopping at the store)

Bugs walked out of the store and made his way to his car, he got in and looked at the image Lola sent to him and laughed, sending her the whole "I don't want to solve this with violence" speech, but unable to resist praising her he sent her a thumbs up with a crying emoji.

Lola mentioned that she 'Borrowed' his bike to go to the salon, and she'll be back hopefully before they had to leave to hang out with the gang. Getting in the driveway he noticed spots of blood and what looked to be a tooth on the ground.

Disregarding that with indifference he stopped and put his car in park, he walked out and went inside his house. he went to the fridge and got some bacon, lettuce, a tomato and mayonnaise and put some bacon on the pan and started a timer and let that sizzle while he took a second to use the bathroom.

Coming out a moment later he walked over to the stove and flipped them over before they turned crispy and hot, he put two slices of bread and toasted them before getting out an avocado and slicing it open and removing the seed, he mashed it until it was a fine paste, he spread the avocado aioli and, mayonnaise on top along with Bacon the lettuce and the tomato and got two skewers.

Getting a bag of chips from the cupboard he went over to the couch to watch Tv, just as the front door opened and Lola walked in before closing it.

"I made you lunch, it's on the counter and ready for you" Bugs said.

"Thanks Bugs, that was sweet of you" Lola said. She sat down next to him and watched the television as they ate. Bugs looked at Lola's nails and she caught his eye staring and explained that Honey chipped her nail in their brawl.

"I hope i never see her again, still, thanks for doing that for me" Bugs said as he took a bite of his sandwich.

"You won't have to worry about that, I won't let anyone treat you like that, ever. If they do, they'll think twice" Lola said arrogantly. Bugs laughed and kissed her cheek gently.

"I appreciate it" Bugs said gently.

They finished their lunch before Bugs did the dishes while Lola relaxed on the couch, absently checking her nails.

"Your nails look great by the way, i love them" Bugs said. Lola looked up from the couch and smiled at him.

"Thanks Bugs" Lola said cheerfully.

"So, Honey screwed them up huh?" Bugs asked.

"Yeah" Lola answered.

"I'm glad i never have to see her again, not after she cheated on me for a third time" Bugs said.

"Why did you stay with her those other times? You can tell me, if you want to" Lola said nervously, unsure if she could even ask such a thing, but luckily Bugs wasn't offended and played it off.

"I don't know" Bugs said with a shrug. "I wasn't as bright in my high school years. Maybe I'll tell you some other time if you really want to know" Bugs said.

(Later)

The clock read four o clock and Bugs and Lola were already in their sports outfits, they walked outside and got into Bugs' car as he slowly pulled out of the driveway and they sped off.

The two made it to the rec center and pulled into the parking lot before turning off the car and stepping out.

"You ready to lose?" Lola teased.

"No, are you?" Bugs said back.

"As if" Lola denied confidently.

The two opened the doors and saw everyone waiting for them. They waved and Bugs and Lola waved back.

"Hey" Lola said.

"Hey guys" Bugs said.

"Heyth Bugs" Daffy said. Before Lola went over and got a basketball and twirled it on her finger.

"Hi Bugs!" Gossamer said excitedly. Bugs waved.

"Hey bugs" Sylvester and Wile E said in unison.

"Hey" Bugs said. Then he noticed Tina was here.

"Tina? What're you doing here?" Bugs asked.

"Daffy called and said you needed one more player for your basketball game, he wouldnt stop pressuring me until I said yes? Tina explained.

"How about first to thirty?" Lola asked.

"You're on... doll" Bugs said with a smirk.

"Just for that consider your ass kicked. On the court" Lola said.

"Bring it on" Bugs challenged.

"You're going down" Lola said. Narrowing her eyes. She began to dribble the ball and went around Bugs, and she scored first, they kept this up for ten minutes, it was a long game that ended with Lola being the winner, having trounced over Bugs, the score was 30 to 5, Bugs caught his breath as Lola walked up to him and handed him a water bottle.

"Thank Lola. Great game" Bugs said.

"Some advice" Lola started as she grabbed Bugs by the chin and forcing him to stare at her fiery eyes. "Don't ever call me, doll" Lola said. She let go of Bugs' chin and walked away.

Everyone started one massive game of basketball, Daffy, Yosemite Sam, Porky, Tina, Bugs, Sylvester, Gossamer. Lola, Wile E Coyote and Marvin all lined up and a Basketball was in the center.

The teams went as follows:

Team one:

Bugs, Lola, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester and Gossamer

Team two:

Marvin, Tina, Porky, Daffy and Wile E. Coyote

It wasn't a serious team but the ten of them all decided to have fun anyway. There were no score cap/s either so they could play without any stress, though that didn't mean they didn't take the game seriously. But it seemed like Lola was out for blood because she was dead set on winning.

(Later)

It was around seven when the gang decided to pack up and head home for the day, Bugs and Lola were walking back to Bugs' car.

"Man, you were ruthless" Bugs said.

"What can i say except your welcome" Lola sang. The two laughed.

"Who are you? Dwane Johnson?" Bugs joked.

"Who's Dwane Johnson?" Lola asked feigning ignorance, they laughed even more.

"How about we go out for dinner? I'm hungry" Lola said, to confirm this her stomach growled.

"Sure" Bugs said. The two hopped into Bugs' car and drove to a local sandwich joint that was close to the rec center. They pulled into the parking lot and Bugs held the door open for Lola.

"After you" Bugs said.

"Thank you" Lola said, the tow walked in and noticed it was pretty busy and as such there was a long line.

"I need to use the restroom really fast, you go wait in line, ok" Lola said.

"Sure thing" Bugs said, he got in line while Lola went to use the Lady's room. Surprisingly it didn't take long for Bugs to reach the counter.

"What can i get you sir?" the cashier asked.

"I'll have a Meatonator combo and a..." Bugs said as he looked at the menu for something that Lola would like, and after a few seconds he decided on a Roast beef and cheddar sandwich. "Beef and cheddar sandwich combo please" Bugs finished.

"Ok, that'll be $24.32" the cashier said. Bugs handed him thirty dollars and received $5.88 back. He put his wallet back in his pocket just as Lola came out of the Lady's room.

"Did you order our food?" Lola asked.

"Yeah, sure did" Bugs said.

"Let's go find a spot to eat, I'm starving" Lola said as she and Bugs went to go find a spot. The two found a quiet spot right at the back of the fast-food restaurant and sat down.

"You want an iced tea?" Bugs asked.

"Sure Bugs" Lola said with a smile.

Bugs took Lola's cup and his own and went to get their drinks, a moment later he came back with an Iced tea (sweetened) and a cola for himself. He sat his drinks across from each other and sat down.

"You were ruthless back at the Rec center" Bugs said.

"Thanks, sorry for that, I guess my split personality kicked in" Lola said.

"You have a split personality?" Bugs asked.

"Her name is 'Bad Lola'" Lola said.

"Oh, by any chance was 'Bad Lola' the one who dealt with Honey Bunny earlier in the day?" Bugs asked teasing Lola a bit.

"Do you want to ask her yourself?" Lola jokingly asked.

"Ehhhhh I'm good. I prefer the sweet side of you anyway, I'm more used to that side" Bugs said.

"Come here" Lola said as she grabbed Bugs' chin as they leaned closer.

"My pleasure" Bugs said as their lips met.

"Bugs Bunny, your order is ready" a voice said. The two pulled back and Bugs got up and went to get their food. A moment later he came back.

"Dinner, is served" Bugs said.

"Thank you Bugs" Lola said.

"No problem" Bugs said. Bugs took a bite from his sandwich and chewed it. Just the way i like it, he thought. After a moment he swallowed.

"I wasn't sure what to get you so i just went with something" Bugs explained.

"It's fine actually, it's delicious" Lola said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

The two quietly ate their food as the camera pans out as the curtain closes and the Merrie Melodies theme plays.

I hope you enjoyed this story; Reviews are always appreciated. I admit I had Lola go full 'Space Jam Lola' in this chapter without me noticing, when I wrote the confrontation with Honey Bunny i didn't switch back to the Looney Tunes show's version. It slipped my mind, and I just went on with it.
