Maradandy and Keiichi were preparing lunch. A good amount of it was beer-battered, as Urd was out trying to get a job in the human realm because her goddess license was suspended.

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Keiichi asked.

"We're kinda limited. If I wasn't fused, Belldandy theoretically could try to convince the higher-ups into giving Urd another chance, but…" Maradandy said as she held a plate of fried fish and was trying to decide where to place it on the table.

"But?" Keiichi asked.

"Urd doesn't like being pitied. She would rather accept the suspension than be seen as needing her younger sister's help to keep her powers," Maradandy answered.

"Still, fifty years. That has to be madness for someone with Urd's attention span," Keiichi said. After realizing what he said, he covered his mouth.

"No, I agree. Urd does have some problems with focusing on things. Either too much or too little," Maradandy sighed. "I honestly wonder if she's-"

A loud boom from outside shook everything. Maradandy and Keiichi rushed out.

Floating in the air was a smirking Urd, wearing skimpy clothing and a cape. Maradandy recognized the demon marks on Urd's face.

"Really? I understand you couldn't wait fifty years, but we both knew that something would happen and you'd get your license within five months! We both know there's someone who fits that bill, Urd!" Maradandy shouted.

Urd threw her head back and cackled, "Urd? I no longer answer to that old name! I am the rightful heir to the Lord of Terror, know my powers, mortals, for I shall destroy everything!"

"Even the booze?" Maradandy asked.

Urd paused. "Well, I guess I can spare that."

"Even the soap operas?"

"I… Yeah, I'll spare those too."

"Even the porn?"

Urd's eye twitched. "Are you serious or are you messing with me?"

Maradandy shrugged.

Urd crossed her arms and looked off to the side, pouting as she muttered, "Yeah, but I'm going to go through to make sure I spare the ones I want."

She then pointed at Maradandy and yelled, "Now no more questions! Bow down or face my wrath!"

"Can we do this after or over lunch?" Maradandy asked.

Urd snapped her fingers, causing a large number of lightning bolts to destroy the temple. With a wicked tone, she answered, "No."

Keiichi looked back in shock and horror. Maradandy briefly glanced back and said, "You just destroyed a lunch that was made just for you. Just about everything had alcohol in it."

A horrified Urd dropped onto the ground on her knees. She covered her eyes as she wept, "What have I done?"

Mardandy observed Urd, who began to use her own cape to wipe away tears. Most of the Mara half enjoyed the sight. An extremely small part of Belldandy did so, but under the reasoning that the Lord of Terror Program never would cry. Only Urd would do so.

Maradandy loudly clasped her hands together to get Urd's attention. "Tell you what. I'll remake the food and fix the temple,but you agree to throw away that Lord of Terror nonsense."

Urd turned back to furious as she recalled all the times that licenses were mentioned over the last couple of days. She stood up, preparing some UrdBolts as she said, "No."

"Urd, I-" Maradandy said before quickly knocking away an UrdBolt. With a glare, she spat, "I was TALKING!"

"And I chose to shut you up. Your point?" Urd asked before flying back into the air. "Besides, I am the Lord of Terror! Bow down and fear me!"

"You're not the Lord of Ter-" Maradandy said before Urd threw down a number of UrdBolts at the ground, creating a dust cloud. As she used a wind spell to blow it away, she asked, "What was the point of that?"

"Why to get my personal servant!" Urd cackled as she held up a shrunken Keiichi.

Maradandy's stance changed. With a flat tone, she said, "Please safely put him down on the ground."

"No. In fact, I think he'd be better off here. We'll become great bosom buddies," Urd cooed as she slowly began to put the panicking Keiichi into her cleavage.

Almost instantly, Urd was hit in the stomach with enough force to both knock the air out of her and let go of Keiichi.

Maradandy grabbed Keiichi before spinning around to kick Urd into the ground.

Urd glared up, tears forming in her eyes. "What… The… Hell!? I become the Lord of Terror, get new powers, stop holding back… and I get whupped like this? WHY?! TELL ME WHY!"

Maradandy merely glared at her as she landed on the ground.

"I said TELL ME!" Urd said as she stood up.

After changing Keiichi back, Maradandy gestured for him to back away as she said, "You're stronger. You always were stronger than Belldandy. As you are now, you're stronger than Mara was. Stronger than I am. But I have Belldandy's skills to even the odds."

She momentarily threw her head back to get some hair out of her face. "But there's also why we fight. You're fighting to prove yourself, but your heart isn't in it.."

Maradandy crouched down a little, preparing herself as she said, "I fight to protect everyone I love, even you."

"Funny way of showing-Eugh!" Urd uttered before getting hit in the stomach again. As Urd collapsed, she thought, 'Stop that!'

Maradandy grabbed Urd's head with one hand and said, "Fight the Lord of Terror program, Urd. I know you can. You're stronger than some two-bit program."

A small friendly smile appeared on Maradandy's face. "'After all, every part of me views you as a sister."

Urd opened her mouth, but felt her strength sap. "What are you doing?"

"Doing wha-Ah!" Maradandy uttered before letting go of Urd. She stared at her hand in shock. "I… can't feel my hand or control it!"

As Maradandy's hand twitched, Urd looked at herself. "I… I think… The Lord of Terror Program left me and entered you… But Belldandy's so pure, her essence should hurt it!"

"But I'm Maradandy!" Maradandy cried out as more of her arm began to twitch. She even began to feel less and less of her arm.

Urd looked up at Maradandy in horror as she quietly said, "Thus giving The Lord of Terror a way to use Belldandy's power…. What have I done?"

An idea came to Urd,. "Quick! Separate!"

"But that will leave Mara at its whims!" Maradandy spat before Keiichi hugged her from behind out of a desire to somehow give her strength. As she felt all of her arm, she muttered, "Ah crud…"

She shook herself free and turned around. Keiichi's hair was now long and platinum, he was now wearing a sleeveless leather jacket. He had demon marks on his face and a wicked sneer.

The Lord of Terror put one hand on his hips and asked, "I don't suppose you can spare a 10th dimensional scythe? One capable of cutting the Universal Superstring?"

His other hand produced a hammer, "Or else this mortal body will-ACK!"

Maradandy was using one hand to grab Keiichi's neck. Urd wondered if Maradandy finally was at her wits…

Until she noted there was a slight difference in Maradandy's fingernails. The one that wasn't holding anything had fingernails that were a mix of Mara and Belldandy's styles. The one holding Keiichi's neck only had fingernails cut in Belldandy's favored style.

Maradandy said in a trembling angry tone, "Listen and listen well, Lord of Terror. You might be thinking you are holding Keiichi hostage to make us do whatever you want. But I know that once you get what you want, Keiichi is going to die anyway. I promise that if any harm comes to him… you're going to regret it. One part of me will never forgive you. The other part of me will make you her hobby. Any time she gets bored, she'll make your life a little bit worse."

The Lord of Terror smirked as he wheezed, "You'd never let him come to harm."

"If it meant he wouldn't be killed, I'd harm him myself," Maradandy replied. "If he dies, I promise that I'll learn how to harm you, Lord of Terror, and make sure you won't kill anyone else."

Urd began to look around for something. When she spotted Skuld getting ready to throw a Floppy Disk, Urd pretended she didn't notice and continued to look around.

The Lord of Terror raised an eyebrow. "I wanna say… nice bluff, but that would be a lie."

The hand around Keiichi's neck began to crackle with Belldandy's magical energy. The Lord of Terror grimaced and began to struggle. "Okay, you're putting in effort into that bluff. NiceAH! Belldandy's not the type to do something like this!"

Maradandy smirked, "Keiichi is in danger, which means Belldandy will do whatever it takes to save him."

As soon as the Lord of Terror felt something hit the back of Keiichi's head, it left Keiichi's body. Skuld then used a paper clip to move the disk slider to lock before tossing a magnet onto it.

Maradandy let go of Keiichi's neck before hugging him. She quietly pleaded, "Please forgive me for hurting you."

"Hey, it's like you said, If it meant saving my life, you'd hurt me to save me," Keiichi said.

Urd smirked before she added ,"Besides, it gives you a chance to dress up in a nurse costume to heal him."

Keiichi blushed, while Maradandy smirked.

Urd then asked, "So… How about that lunch?"

A cloak-wearing child-sized demon stared down at a broken pot. They grumbled. "I will restore you back to perfection, Belldandy."
