Author note: Hi, I forgot to tell you guys, I'm a artist. Since i'm a Beano fan, I often create fanart and OC art. But now I had a art block sadly. It's so terrible and I did try drawing but I don't have the energy or skills. That's why I decided to try a different hobby with my ideas, and that's writing. I'm still not confident with my writing but it's pretty fun to write tbh.
So anyway I'm thinking of making a collection of Dentoots/CherryBerry(Dennis x Toots) oneshots and post them on AO3 there yes i had a AO3 account, "Raccoon_Shark". Also I had a Twitter and Tumblr account for my art.

The golden sunlight glances down at the Beanotown Farmers' market in May, where everything is fresh and homemade. From apples and peppers to donuts and onigirl. Behind the food stands, there's homemade stuff like jewellery and food trucks offering delicious meals.
Sarah Pye, wearing a white blouse with navy blue jeans and teal shoes. She had shoulder length wavy dark brown hair. She's holding a tote bag filled with fruits and vegetables. She looked so beautiful and she's happy to be here in the market, but she's not alone. Sarah has brought her tomboyish daughter, Kate or "Toots" where everyone usually calls her in school.
She's wearing a short-sleeved shirt in her trademark blue and black stripes, black shorts with blue socks and black Converse All Stars. A red ribbon bow with black dots tied around her head. She looks irritated now.
"Mum, why did I have to go here? I want to join my friends playing video games." Toots complaints at her mother. Sarah glared at her daughter as they walked to the pie stand. "Because You spent most of your time last winter playing video games with your friends, now I think it's time to change that. You need to go outside and freshen yourself." Sarah informed her daughter as she looked at the pie display.
Toots sighed and put her hands on her shorts' pockets. She looked around at the market While Sarah talked with the baker to test out the samples. Seconds later, out of the samples Sarah and Toots liked the cherry one most and the woman told the baker to pick the cherry pie. The baker nodded and he smiled then he picked a box containing a whole cherry pie before giving it to Sarah. The woman handed him a 10 banknote and the baker gave a gesture of appreciation, waving at her and the tomboy walking out.
"Honestly, the cherry one's must be my favourite." Toots admitted as Sarah put the box in her bag. "Yeah, I know you'll always love it when it's cherry-flavoured." Her mother smiled and nodded. "Let's go to see the other stands."
Moments later from stand to stand, Sarah and Toots seemed to be enjoying each other. Sarah brought some homemade goods like buns, cookies, honey, spices and chocolate. However she also brought some goods for her daughter like cherry-flavoured sweets and pepperoni pizza slices which surprised Toots. Also her mother let her choose her new earrings at a jewelry stand and Toots picked two pairs of silver lighting ones and glitter cherry ones.
Afterwards, they settled on a table under a roofed structure. They began to become tired after especially a long shopping in the market. "Kate, how are you feeling?" The woman asked her daughter who had put her elbows on the table. "I'm kinda tired now after walking from stand to stand." Toots admitted with a smirk. Sarah shook her head and smiled as she wrapped her arm around her daughter.
"I'm happy you came, Kate." Sarah laughed, however a thought struck out in her mind. The woman felt she had forgotten something…. And the thing she hasn't brought is cherries which is her daughter's favourite.
"Kate…I forgot to buy your favourite fruit!" Sarah exclaimed as Toots looked at her mother. "Let's get back to shopping!" Sarah tapped her hand on Toots' shoulder as an urge to go. And they both rushed back to the market.
When they finally discovered the cherries stall at a stand, Sarah picked a carton of cherries and paid 25 bucks for them. When they resumed their walk, Sarah gave the carton to Toots to hold for her. Toots nodded but didn't pay attention where she was walking…and suddenly bumped someone, none other than Dennis the Menace, her rival! Sarah looked at her daughter with shock.
Toots widened her eyes and her jaw dropped. Some of the cherries fell off the carton but they got caught by Dennis' hands and arms. Toots can't believe that. She bumped into her rival?.. Her mind became blank.
"Hey Toots, you dropped some of your cherries." The menace interrupted her panicking mind. Upon realizing that, Toots shook her head and looked at Dennis. He's wearing a short sleeved shirt like Toots but it's in his signature red and black stripes instead. Beyond the shirt, the rest of the outfit stays the usual default look.
"Then put the cherries back in the box, menace." Toots replied with an unassuming look. Dennis shrugged and returned the cherries to the carton, then he closed the lid.
"Well tomboy, nice to see you again today. I'm here with my mum." He turned to look at her mother, Sandra Menace as she walked to her son. "I'm so sorry that my son had bumped into your daughter, Sarah." Sandra apologized to her friend.
"Oh no, it's all okay Sandra. It's just an accident." Sarah responded with a sweet laugh. Sandra was relieved. Dennis turned to his rival to ask her "We're planning to buy ice cream from this truck. Wanna come over?" Dennis smirked as pointed his thumb at that ice cream stand.
Toots couldn't help but nod at him.
"….Yeah, I could try some."
Dennis smiled mischievously "Well, let's race for it!" He began to run towards the truck. Toots rolled her eyes and ran to him. Sarah and Sandra laughed and began to follow them.
Cherries. They somehow reminded Toots of Dennis.. _
Honestly I felt this one is the weakest of the three practice oneshots; it didn't vibe up with the menacing charm of the comic, but I still it's sweet. So anyway, I'm currently writing on the first oneshot of the collection!
