When Pablo and Pedro took the father daughter dance in place of her own father it's something that she dreaded This Dia de Los muertos was something special. She'd said 'I do' to the love of her life, Soulmate and her best friend. Miguel was everything to her and her forever family were her everything and she wouldn't change it for the world and now that she was an official Rivera not just by heart and love but by marriage now.

She now was a married woman, A wife and over the course of the night it was still hitting her and as they spent the night dancing and having fun; Miguel and Mirabel cutting the cake having laughs and jokes unintentionally making a fun mess as friends and family watched with smiles and lots of love.

But the best part of the night was when it came to father daughter dance and in place of her father were her Tio Carlos, Abuelo Pablo and Pedro and to be honest it was not what she'd expected. But what came next made her feel eternally grateful and loved that she managed to get very emotional.

Every single one of the male counterparts of her forever family living and dead stepped up to have their portion of a dance with Mira and one by one as they each had their turn the had whispered compliments and loving words and how she changed their lives and how happy she had made them. Not by blood but by love and clearly they adored her and she couldn't help but melt, tears slipped as she danced with them and she couldn't help it but yet they managed to wipe her tears away and make her smile.

The last one to step up was Héctor and as he did so he noticed Mirabel shaking so as he gently grabbed her hands and looked her in the eyes and smiled the look of happiness and joy on his face with a twinge of emotion and sentiment a slower version of 'Remember me 'was played as they danced her head leaning softly against his bony shoulder.

Every single one of the guests family and friends went silent watching the two. Imelda couldn't help but melt along with the rest and as Miguel watched his wife dance with what she considered Papá Héctor as a father figure he couldn't help but smile and sigh watching them.

Miguel loved Mira more then anything but something told him that the close relationships she's built over the years with their Family is what made it all the more precious, Knowing she had now found not only found true happiness but an honest love he will keep that close to his heart forever.

Mirabel was the love of his life and his best friend knowing that 8 years ago she would turn their family and his world upside down not knowing how precious and amazingly beautiful she was to him and how he couldn't spend another day without her by his side.

Knowing she made him a better person and showed the most unexpected and unimaginable experiences and the amount of crazy adventures they were on together made it all the more fun and exciting and he wouldn't change it for the world.

Meanwhile Héctor couldn't help but think of all the years watching this young girl that he called his Cariña Angel grow up and bloom from the shy and unspoken girl that he saw from the first time they met to now an angel of a young woman with a heart of gold and an amazing bubbly and personality.

She wasn't just Pablo and Pedro's granddaughter but also his and the moment he took that vow to do so he promised no harm would come to her and that he would always love her no matter what . No doubt it was a secret vow and promise it was like he had a daughter again which he was more then overjoyed with and now on this day, This special Dia de Los Muertos he was enjoying taking this dance with her .

Meanwhile as Mira danced with him she couldn't help but let a few tears slip as she was dancing with Héctor she was eternally grateful, She knew she'd finally found her family and the love Something true and loving. Héctor had been one of the main reasons that she confided about her Ex- Family aside from Miguel and how he made it so easy to talk to him and the understanding of what it felt like to be Alone but besides all that she was truly one of the greatest pepole to be around he truly was like a father and grandfather to her.

The joking and the laughs made it all the more special and the games they'd play sometimes just to tease made it that much more interesting and made life worth living.

"Estas bien Mija?" He whispered as he gently spun her out

Mirabel nodded as tears rolled down her cheeks as Héctor gently lifted her to meet his eyes and all was said knowing that she was safe as he slowly turned with her she mumbled something and Héctor could swear if he had his heart back it would be melting with what she just said.

"Thank you for giving me this". She whispered

"Mija sweetheart I have to thank you for coming into our lives and making it such a blessing, I don't know if you know that vow I made for you". Héctor smiled

"You did?" She had turned to face him as they swayed

"Si, I made it so that no matter what you'll always have love and I'll let no harm come to you ". He sighed

Mirabel couldn't help but smile at that and just when she couldn't love her forever family anymore this happens.

"Te quiero mucho for this and for giving me your family ". Mirabel said

"Ah ah Mija our family ". He corrected

"Right". She chuckled softly

As the dance finished she now wasn't so worried about what could have been but rather a bright future with her forever family and Miguel by her side she felt like anything was possible and they certainly made sure of it.
