Holly's phone rang from a private number. She answered it. "Holly Scorpio."
"Should have been you." The voice said before the called ended abruptly.
Holly did her best to not let her worry show on her face.
"Who was that?" Robert asked.
"Wrong number." She knew Robert wasn't going to buy it but hoped the rest of the room did. "I'll be right back." She excused herself and went outside the room.
"I'll be back, too." Robert told them as he followed Holly out. "Holly?" He asked, catching up to her.
"I can't do that in public, Robert." Holly told him.
He opened a supply closet and pulled her in, locking it. "Better?"
Holly looked into Robert's eyes, the fear in hers showing. "I was the target."
Robert was floored, he pulled her into him and hugged her tightly. "Let me guess a private number?"
Holly nodded into his chest.
"Well they targeted the wrong man's wife. No one is going to hurt you." Robert tried to reassure her. He would do everything in his power to protect her.
"Robert it's not me I'm worried about. To get to me they will hurt our family or you." Holly told Robert.
"I'll call JJ, give him a heads up and Jayne. We will protect everyone. Look at all the good we've already done getting this town back in shape." Robert told her, wiping her eyes.
Holly nodded as she tried to compose herself. "We need to get someone to watch that house and tell Robin too."
"I'll get on it, I just need you to know that you are safe and so is our family. I won't let anything ruin what we have going." Robert told her, wanting her to realize that she was safe.
Holly gave him a kiss. "I love you, more than you'll ever know. I'm going to call the WSB to do what I can. You call the PCPD. Should we go somewhere else?"
Robert shook his head. "At the most people will think we are fooling around but we are in a private place to make a few calls."
Holly stifled a laugh, she was scared but Robert could always make her smile. "You're right."
The both set into action to protecting their family and trying to figure out who was targeting her.
