Robert carried Holly into their room and laid her on the bed. Holly was surprised to find a small Christmas tree in their room. "Where did that come from?" She asked Robert.

Robert's eyes sparkled as he spoke. "You remember that tradition we had of making love under the Christmas tree?"

Holly grinned, so much love on her face. "Do I ever. I quite enjoyed it."

"So did I...so did I." Robert briefly let his mind travel back in time but then snapped out of it. "Oh, yeah..umm..."

Holly stifled a laugh as she watched Robert search for his words. "The tree darling."

Robert got his mind back on track as he looked at Holly. "I wanted to bring a little of our tradition back but with a full house this works best." He grinned and placed a kiss on her neck.

Holly's face lit up, she was so amazed by his love for her. Always had been and always will be. "Do you know how much I love you?" She asked him.

Robert looked into her eyes. "If it's anything close to what I see in your eyes I am even luckier than I think.

Holly grinned at him, stroking his cheek. "My marshmallow." She leaned in and kissed him.

Robert kissed her back, wanting to stay in it as long as possible but knowing her had more surprises in store. "I'm not done yet."

"Well I should hope not darling, we haven't even started." Holly gave him a cheeky grin.

Robert shook his head and laughed. "You know what I mean." Robert got up and went over to a basket of goodies he had.

"You know you really are spoiling me." Holly sat up in the bed, fixing her hair.

"You spoil me too." Robert grabbed the bottle of champagne and glasses, getting back into bed with her. "Do you remember that Christmas we had in Australia after I joined you?" Robert asked as he popped the cork.

Holly blushed a little thinking of the memories. "Do I? We promised every Christmas was going to be like that..." Holly couldn't hide the sadness in her voice.

Robert sighed softly as he took her hand. "I know I let you down."

Holly shook her head. "Robert you took care of Robin, our Robin. Don't ever apologize for that."

Robert kept her hand in his. "How about we spend every Christmas we have left like that? Even if we have to be secluded to our own bedroom."

Holly's eyes lit up once again as she nodded. "I like the sound of that."

Robert poured them both glasses of champagne. "Here's to making up for lost time, never letting anything tear us apart."

Holly grinned as she held her glass up to clink his. "I'll drink to that." They both took sips of their champagne.

"I know it's the afternoon..." Robert kissed her neck after setting his wine glass down.

"Oh? When has that ever stopped you?" Holly asked with a giggle.

Robert looked in her eyes as he gave a shrug. "You have an excellent point."
