Robert and Chase went to the crime scene to investigate while JJ took the ladies back home.
Robert immediately noticed the corpse from the day before. he was the man that kept perusing Sasha.
"Do you know this man?" Chase asked, noticing the look on Robert's face.
"No, I saw him yesterday. I do know someone who knows a little more." Robert got out his phone and called JJ, knowing he would be who he needed to help him with this.
The corpse was taken to the morgue as JJ and Robert met in his office.
"Are you sure it was that guy?" JJ asked.
"Positive, I think the DVX realized he was getting sloppy and took care of him. I don't have to tell you how little they care about the people loyal to them." Robert reminded JJ.
"No, you don't. They made sure he was quiet, and after all these years, I doubt Gregory is going to break." JJ was trying to come up with something but was at a loss at the moment.
"Oh, he will break, I'll make sure of it. I know what it's like to have someone play God with your life, and I am having no more of that." Robert slammed his fists on his desk.
"You know whatever it is, I'm in." JJ told him. Taking down the DVX or at least the part that was messing with Grant and Celia was very important to JJ as well. In a short time, these people had become his friends and family, and just like Robert, he planned to protect them.
Holly tapped on the door. "Robert, it's me."
"Come in, luv." Robert's mood immediately calmed, Holly had that effect on him.
Holly walked inside. "Do you know who it is?" She asked. She wanted this nightmare over for Celia, Grant, and Sasha as soon as possible.
"Yes, looks like that man who kept perusing Sasha won't be perusing anyone anymore." Robert told his wife.
