Robert and Holly got back to the townhouse and went upstairs, both exhausted from tears and just having a fabulous niight with their friends.

"Darling I don't think I'm up for a sauna tonight, do you think you can just hold me?" Holly asked Robert as she started to get undressed to get ready for bed.

Robert was doing the same. "You don't even have to ask, one condition though." Robert walked over to their dresser.

"What's that?" Holly eyes followed him, curious to know what he had up his sleeve.

"You have to wear your favorite pajamas." Robert grinned as he took them out.

Holly's face lit up as she took them from him. "With pleasure."

The two of them got ready for bed and laid down. "Want to watch a movie?" Robert asked her.

Holly shook her head no. "I would rather we not." She moved over into his arms, "I just want to lay here and be grateful for what we have and what we have been lucky to have had in our life."

Robert admired her, he loved how sentimental she was. She always brought out that side of him too. "I am so grateful to you, you genuinely taught me to love. I know I loved before you but I was never truly in love until you." He kissed her head.

"I feel the same, I loved Luke but it was nothing compared to you. Nothing could ever compare." Holly laid her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.

Robert rubbed her back. "I really know what life is without you and I can't do it. I don't want to."

Holly looked up into Robert's eyes, stroking his cheek. "We are spending the rest of our life together. I am not going anywhere." Holly kissed Robert.

Robert kissed her, holding her close. "I love you so much, sometimes it's really hard to believe."

"I know, I love you that much too." Holly kissed Robert then laid her head back on his chest.

Robert held onto Holly as they both drifted off to sleep, grateful for what the had now and both determined not to take a single second for granted.
