Robert and Holly had glasses of champagne near the tub as the two sat in it. Holly was laying on top of Robert, feeling at such ease. "You know I love our little celebrations."
"Little?" Robert teased her as his foot rubbed up against the faucet. This was nice, it usually was. He loved getting to hold Holly, getting to tease her, and getting to make love to her.
"Okay, big. I love everything about our life now." Holly smiled as she ran her hand along his.
"So do I and now I get to have an steamy affair with the head of the WSB field office in town. Talk about hot." Robert kissed the side of her head.
Holly moved so she could look into his eyes. "You aren't upset?" She asked him again. "I know it hurt you when they put you 'out to pasture' so to speak. I felt like that's part of why you came back here."
Robert felt a pain in his heart. Did he really make her think that. "I was just trying to figure out where my life was going, a dumb move since you are the biggest part of my life. I'm very proud of you."
Holly eyes lit up with her smile. "I am so proud of you too. I think we are turning it all around and helping out our friends while we are at it, too."
Robert grinned then shook his head. "Let's leave our friends out of the tub."
Holly giggled and nodded. "Of course, I only like to take baths with you." Holly moved so she was straddling him.
Robert's hands found her hips as he kissed her passionately, what was it about this woman that made him never able to get enough? He would never know but he knew she was the most important person in his life.
Holly smiled into their kiss, she knew exactly what she was doing to him because he always did the same for her. She absolutely loved it.
Robert in his excitement was moving around and quickly realized he made the same mistake he had made many years earlier. His toe was in fact stuck. "Holly?"
Holly was placing kissing on his chest. "Hmm?"
"Luv, it's stuck." He told her quietly.
Holly was confused for a second then looked back, her laughter loud as she realized he had repeated the same mistake from years before. "Oh, darling. What am I going to do with you?"
"Hopefully help me." Robert replied.
