With the crisis adverted, Rose worked on setting up the party. Robert and Holly snuck in the back way so they could help while JJ was sent to keep Jayne busy until they were ready.

"Rose, I can't thank you enough for this. It's all so beautiful." Holly was so thrilled to have help with this.

"Jayne and Ethan deserve the best, and they've got it with the parents they have!" Rose gave Holly a hug.

Some of the other guests arrived and they were filled in on who the party actually was for. Holly went into the kitchen when it was time for Ethan and Jayne to arrive, Robert went with her as he was supposed to be bringing Holly. The two planned to bring the cake out.

Jayne came in with JJ, Tiff, Ethan, Annie, and Seana. "We aren't too late, are we?" She asked Rose.

Holly peeked out and smiled at Robert. "You ready?"

"Of course I am." The two of them picked up the cake and walked out of the kitchen. "Surprise!"

Jayne and Ethan were both confused.

"Wait, what?" Ethan asked as he sat Seana down.

"Cake!" Seana grinned as she looked at it.

Jayne read the cake. "Happy Birthday Jayne and Ethan, to all we missed and all ahead." She grinned at her parents. "This is so sweet."

Ethan was impressed they pulled it off. "Thank you, mum and dad."

Jayne put all the pieces together. "This is one of the most thoughtful things, and I get to share it with my brother."

Robin walked up and put her arms around them both. "You should have seen your faces. This was definitely worth it."

They both gave Robin a hug.

The party was everything Robert and Holly hoped it would be for Ethan and Jayne, Jayne especially since this was her first birthday with them. When it started to die down the were sitting at a table together.

"This was very sweet of you mum and sneaky." Jayne was still very impressed.

"That's our mum." Ethan chuckled. "But thank you both. It means a lot to me."

"Well you two mean everything to us." Holly told her two children.

"Mummy's right. I'm very proud of how you've started to straighten your life out Ethan, you've always been a good man but now I think you are on a much better track." Robert told Ethan.

"A huge part of that is because of you both. So thank you." Ethan told his parents.

"And you Jayne, going after your dream and being in a new world. Some people would find that scary but not you." Holly smiled lovingly at her daughter.

"Well some people aren't the daughter of Robert and Holly Scorpio. I always wanted parents that loved me, truly loved me and you two give me that and you gave me a twin and a sister." Jayne beamed.

"We are very lucky." Holly smiled as she took both of their hands.

"And we're about to add another son-in-law to the mix." Robert looked over and waved JJ over.

JJ walked over to them and sat next to Jayne. "I think this is the happiest birthday that I've seen since the first one we spent together."

Jayne smiled lovingly at JJ as she took his hand with her free one. "He always made me feel real special, you two do, too. I need to talk to you all about something."

Robert nodded, he could tell Jayne was serious.

"I want to make Alistair pay for what he helped do to us and stealing me." Jayne told her parents, JJ, and Ethan. She had been going back and forth but in the end she felt no one should get away with what he had done.

"I'll do everything in my power." Robert told Jayne, he was glad to hear her say that.

"As will I." Holly spoke up.

"Frisco and I are ahead of you all. We'll bring you in." JJ informed them both, he too was happy Alistair was going to pay.
