Holly laid blissfully and peacefully in Robert's arms, feeling that connection the two have shared for decades so strongly. She looked up and locked eyes with his. She pulled his hand to her lips and kissed it. "What are you thinking?"
Robert looked at her, grinning at his beautiful wife. "The same thing I always think when we're together, that we are the only two people in the world." He kissed her head.
Holly grinned as she laid her head back on his chest. "I guess some things really do never change, You have no idea how complete I feel being in your arms."
"Oh no, I definitely do." Robert rubbed her back, he knew the pain of going through life without her, he refused to go through it again.
"I suppose you are the other one who knows exactly what I mean." She looked up at him, taking his hand back into hers.
"And I know how much this moment means and every moment we have after." He gave her a kiss. "You were something with the whip cream." Robert grinned at her.
Holly blushed as she bit her bottom lip. "What can I say? You bring it out of me. I do love that we have never lost our playful sides."
"Mmhmm." Robert leaned forward to give her a kiss. "Speaking of sides I still haven't gotten a good look at your back side."
This caught Holly of guard and caused her to laugh. "Well that's not my fault. You have plenty of time to make up for it though."
"And you know I'll hold you to that." Robert gave her another kiss.
"We need to do this as often as we can, trips. I know we had planned on it often in the 80s and usually something came up." Holly understood how demanding his work could be.
"Well now we are going to make it happen as I always should have. You and our family will always come first." Robert told her as he stroked her cheek.
Holly gave him a kiss. "I love how full our house is right now, I know eventually it won't be and I am okay with that but it's great waking up to Tiff when I don't get to wake up to you."
"Oh so that's my competition huh?" Robert picked on her.
Holly laughed again. "You are something else right now."
"I always am." He grinned as he gave her back a rub. "How's the hot tub sound?" He asked her.
Holly gave him a kiss and stayed close. "Heavenly." She whispered and gave him another kiss.
