Holly was sitting on the couch with Jayne as everyone had cleared out. JJ and Jayne were staying in her room tonight while Barry was staying in Tiff's old room. Robert and Holly had started to do some remodeling but hadn't got a chance to do much yet.

Jayne was sipping her tea as she spoke to her mom. "I love seeing dad with the kids, he seems to really light up."

"He always wanted to be a daddy, being a grandpa I think is even better. He just lights up with the grandchildren, always has." Holly's face lit up just talking about Robert.

"Yours lights up when you talk about him. I really hope JJ and I always have that." Jayne told her mom, she knew what they had was special.

"Oh I think you will, I see the way you two are. I see how much more at ease you are with him but also this deep love. I have complete faith in you two." Holly told her daughter.

Jayne loved hearing that. "You know I do, too. I've have a lot of doubts over the years but not so much anymore. Tonight was really nice. It was nice to have Barry here and all our family."

"It was, I'm glad we have him here now." Holly knew how much having Barry there meant to them both.

Robert walked over and sat down. "We cleared the house of visitors."

Holly laughed. "You seem relieved."

"I am a little. I love the company but it's getting late." Robert replied to Holly, in all honesty he wanted some alone time with his wife.

Jayne stood up. "You know it is, I think I'm going to go up with JJ and get some sleep." Jayne gave both of her parents hugs. "Goodnight, mum and dad. Merry Christmas."

They both hugged their daughter and told her goodnight.

"She's really something, they all are." Robert was very proud of his family and his wife.

"They take after you." Holly grinned as she took another sip of her tea.

"Trying to butter me up?" Robert asked Holly as he scooted closer to her. "You know I'm all yours already."

Holly nodded as she gave him a look showing that she did in fact know. "Don't think I ever question that. You ready to go upstairs? Maybe open up a present or two." Holly had that look in her eyes.

Robert's eyes sparkled as he looked deep into hers, lifting her hand to kiss it. "Oh yes, definitely."
