Robert and Holly laid wrapped in each others arms, peacefully. They had spent another evening making up for lost time. Every chance they had they did, life was too short and they weren't wasting another second.

Holly barely heard her phone in her sleep. She looked at the time. 2 AM, who could be calling? She reached over and saw it was Sasha. "Sasha? Are you alright?" She asked, the worry in her voice evident.

Sasha was happy Holly answered but just having a hard time, clearly stressed out. "Yes, mother. I'm fine. I'm sorry it's so late there..."

"Oh no, it's alright. I can wake you father up to talk to..." Before Holly could finish she was cut off by her daughter.

"I wasn't calling to talk to Robert, I wanted to talk to you." Sasha told her mom. The phone was silent for a moment. "If you aren't up to it right now then that's okay..."

"Oh no, Sasha, I am definitely up to it. I love you, I'm here for you no matter what time it is." Holly tried to reassure her daughter. She knew she wasn't always the best mother but she wanted to try to make up for it.

"You know I was hoping you would say that. I know we have had a rocky relationship but I remember for the longest time you were my favorite person." Sasha took a deep breath, she really did have a lot of memories of her and Holly that were good. Her anger made her skip over those.

"You still are one of my favorites, darling. What's going on?" Holly asked Sasha. She was grateful to hear Sasha still thought of those moments.

"Mother, I want to protect my baby more than anything. Losing Liam nearly broke me. It still..." Sasha couldn't finish her words.

"I understand. I lost your older sibling, it was still pretty early in my pregnancy, but the pain..." Holly knew more than anything how much it hurt.

"Losing this baby would absolutely destroy me. He or she is already everything to me." Sasha told her mother, feeling comfortable to be vulnerable with her mother.

"They are everything to your father and I too, along with their beautiful, strong, capable mother. You are going to be the best mum to your baby. I know more than anything how scary it can be." Holly remembered how happy but how scared she was when she found out she was pregnant with Sasha.

"The Quartermaines mean well but they are driving me up a wall." Sasha admitted to her mother. "I want to do this all by myself but I think they all want to be involved."

"Well it's your baby, they can't decide they are going to just be involved." Holly was so happy with them talking but she was curious, she wanted to ask if there was a reason they were involved.

Sasha could tell what Holly was thinking. She decided to rip the band-aid off and tell her. "Yes there is a reason they want to be involved."

"The father?" Holly replied.

"Yes, it's a really long story. One I wish I could tell you but it's complicated and I don't want to get into it on the phone." Sasha told her mother. She missed having her mother like this.

"Do you need us to come back for a little while, at least?" Holly asked Sasha, even if there was a risk she would take it to be there for her daughter.

"Is it safe?" Sasha asked, she wanted to protect her mother and father for that matter.

"It should be." Holly replied as she looked over at Robert who was sitting up, watching Holly on the phone with Sasha. He wasn't trying to listen in but he could tell they were having a nice conversation and he loved that for them.

"I'll let you know, like you said I'm very capable." Sasha told her mother, she was so relieved that she was almost out of danger or so she said. "Mother there is one more thing I need to tell you."

"What is it?" Holly asked her daughter, concerned about what she was about to learn.

"Jenz Sidwell is taking up residence in Port Charles." Sasha dropped the news on her mother, feeling Robert and her mother definitely needed to know.
