Hiccup was unleashing an onslaught of plasma blasts, which was breaking apart the frozen mast that Asmund had sent flying towards him. The ice change was sent flying straight towards the three admirals, for they had no effect on them since all three of them had Logia powers.

"I never knew Hiccup was this crazy?" Gustav stared. "He's going to join his brother 5 feet under at this rate."

"He signed his own death warrant," said Sven. "He'll be dead before the ink will dry."

A massive cloud of steam covered the admirals, acting like a smokescreen, precisely what Hiccup had been aiming for.

"Beta Mode!" said Hiccup as he transformed into his beta form.

He then moved at blinding speed, passing through all three admirals and heading straight towards the scaffold.

"Not to insult your egos, but I have no time to fight you," said Hiccup.

"Trying to sneak by us, huh?" said Kia.

Hiccup flew straight towards the scaffold, but Kia suddenly appeared before him.

"You almost made it," he said, kicking him across the face with a glowing kick.

Hiccup was sent flying straight into the ground.

"Hiccup!" Gustav gasped.

"He is so dead," said Sven.

Hiccup had reverted to his human form and struggled to get back up. "Damnit."

Ace now closes his eyes, preparing for the end.

"Get ready, men," said Sander, turning to the executioners.

"Sir!"

They then began to raise their blades, and Hiccup knew there was no way he could get there in time.

"Now, do it!" Sander commanded.

The executioners swung their blades down towards Ace.

"Ace, no!" Stoick yelled.

"You monsters!" Jinbe yelled.

"No, stop!" Gobber pleaded.

"Ace!" Astrid screamed.

Everyone watched in horror as the blades were inches away from Ace's neck.

"Ace!" Hiccup screamed.

However, the executioners were blown away before they could even touch it, much to everyone's shock. The executioners were struck so hard that they were knocked off the scaffold.

"Who did that?" Sander asked.

Everyone just stared at the one that saved Ace, none other than Viggo, who somehow managed to land in the middle of the Plaza.

"You bastard!" Sander growled furiously. "I thought it would be advantageous to have you here for the battle since you hold a grudge against Stoick. Curse you, Viggo."

"I don't believe it," Hiccup gasped.

Gobber transformed his hybrid form and perched himself on top of the wall. "What's going on?"

"Just a short while ago, Viggo was trying to murder Stoick," said Jinbe, confused. "I wonder what changed his mind."

"What kind of game is he playing now?" Astrid frowned.

"I can kill the old man whenever I want," said Viggo. "But as for right now, I am not going to let you taste victory. You and your cooking operation."

Then suddenly, there was a flash of light, and his head was sliced off his neck. Then, making his way to the centre, there was none other than Johann.

"Hey, old friend, do you remember me?" Johann asked.

"It's Johann Tradesman!"

"First, you turned me down, and now you want to team up with Stoick?" said Johann, displeased.

Viggo just stood there as his head grew back.

"You've got some nerve playing me like that."

Viggo looked at him with the corner of his eye. "Do not be ridiculous. I am not teaming up with anyone."

"Either way, you're getting my friendship cold shoulder. I can't say that I appreciate that."

"Deal with it."

The two of them began glaring at one another as everyone waited to see who would make the first move. Johann then moved his hand, and Viggo quickly responded. The two of them clashed fists, creating a shockwave that blew the Marines back.

"Those two are distracting everybody else," said Hiccup as he rose to his feet, "now's my chance."

A Marine that charges him with a sword. "Hey, Dragon! You're mine! Die!"

Hiccup quickly ducked to avoid his swing and punched him in the face. He then became his hybrid form and swatted more Marines with his tail. His eyes then turned to the scaffold before returning to the large group of Marines before him.

"Better get out of my way or else," he advised.

When the Marines failed to heed his warning, he quickly took them down with a single blow. He then promptly continued his way towards the scaffold as soon as possible.

"Not another step, Dragon!" said a Vice-Admiral, blocking his path. "Your temper tantrum ends right now."

"Move if you know what's good for you!" Hiccup yelled, not showing any indication of stopping.

"Shave!"

The Marine suddenly vanished before him, but Hiccup did not deviate and continued to the scaffold. The Marine then reappeared directly above him.

"Moon Walk!" said the Marine, launching himself at Hiccup. "Iron Body!"

He hardened his body and swung his fist down at Hiccup, who quickly jumped out of the way. He then slammed his fist into the ground, shattering it instantly.

Hiccup skidded across the ground, realising he could no longer ignore him. He then clenched his fist and launched himself at the marina at full speed.

"Dragon…"

"Iron Body!"

"…Fist!"

Hiccup slammed his fist as hard as he could into the Marine's stomach. It looked as if he withstood the attack briefly, but he then collapsed. Hiccup then continued to make his way over to the scaffold.

"Do not let him come any closer!"

Before the Marines could make a move, Magnus stepped forward.

"Admiral Magnus, sir?"

However, before Magnus could make a move, Asmund had already launched himself at Hiccup. He then fired an ice beer, which pierced into Hiccup's right shoulder, knocking him to the ground. He stepped over him, pulled out his spear, and pointed it straight at him.

"I still owe your grandfather a favour, Dragon," said Asmund as he raised the spear. "But you have left me no choice. You chose to risk your life; you've got to face the music."

Gobber suddenly appeared out of nowhere in his Phoenix form and quickly transformed into his hybrid form. He kicked Asmund away from Hiccup, shattering his spear. Asmund was sent flying and crashed into the rubble.

"Admiral!"

"Oh, crap. Stoick's First Division Commander Gobber!"

"Thanks for the save, Gobber," said Hiccup gratefully.

"Don't mention it, lad," Gobber smiled.

A report was then spread out throughout the entire base.

"There are three invaders in the Plaza! They're using their devil fruit powers to go straight over the walls!"

Mr 3, who was sneaking around, heard part of this. "Did he say three? Could they be referring to me, or am I just being paranoid because they said three? No, that can't be right; when would they have learned about me? I'd barely escaped Admiral Asmund's freezing attack. In fact, I barely survived a slew of close calls."

Mr 3 had created a wax clone of himself just before Asmund's attack struck Buggy and his followers. Then, when no one was looking, he snuck into the base.

"It's a miracle I've gotten this far," he said. "But even down here, I'm at risk of being exposed! There are no safe havens in this wretched place!"

He then suddenly heard footsteps coming down the corridor.

"I've been spotted," he said and quickly hid.

He then saw a Marine officer running by with two executioners.

"Good grief," he said as he watched them go by.

Meanwhile, Stoick's men abandoned the sinking ships in the bay and jumped into the sea. Thankfully, the water was much more bearable, but there were still open targets. Thanks to Magnus' attack, there was very little ice remaining.

"Everyone swim across the bay and towards Oars!"

"We have to get to the Plaza no matter what it takes!"

"Excuse me, Fleet Admiral!" said a Marine. "The pirates inside the bay are beginning to swim towards us."

Sander looked at Stoick; he found it hard to believe that he would lead his men into a suicide charge and wondered what he was up to.

The Marines on the walls looked at the swimming pirates, who were now completely vulnerable.

"They think they can get to us, huh? Guards the gap, and don't let them through!"

"Sir! Yes, sir!"

"They've got nothing to lose now that we have sunk the ice and their ships. Talk about an easy target. Now fire away while we still have the chance!"

The Marines then pointed the cannons directly down at the pirates and fired upon them. Despite all the cannons fired, the pirates kept on swimming as if their lives depended on them.

"Don't let it rattle you! Swim! Swim! Swim!"

"We've almost made it to Oars!"

"Get to the Plaza!"

The Marines were shocked that the pirates kept going despite all the cannon fire.

"What?! Why aren't they stopping? They should have turned around and been killed a long time ago."

Then, they saw something moving under the water as something large was reaching the surface. Then, shooting out of the water was a Hairy Hooligan Pirate ship, which surfaced right underneath the pirates, allowing them to board it.

"Grab a hold and get on board!"

"Don't let go!"

The Marines were utterly shocked.

"It's another pirate ship!"

"Sir, we have a problem! Another coated pirate ship is about to enter the bay, and it's coming fast!"

The moment the ship shot out of the water, the coating disappeared, but that didn't matter, as when it hit the water, ain't began making its way towards the gap in the wall.

"You've got to be kidding me. It must have been hidden underwater the entire time."

Sander growled in frustration because now it was going to be harder to hit the pirates with the cannons.

"We call those punks off guard," said Stoick. "I never said they sunk all of our ships."

"It looks like a paddleboat!" a Marine reported. "And it's heading straight for the full speed!"

"No! Stoick!" Sander roared.

"Now sick that thing! Drop it like the Skullcrusher!" a Marine officer ordered.

The Marines fired their cannons at the ship, but it was moving way too fast for them to get a good hit.

"Ceasefire!" Sander yelled as he suddenly realised what Stoick had planned. "Their ship is too fast! Aim your fire at Oars!"

"What? Oars the giant?"

Stoick smirked. "Too late, Sander."

"Everybody prepared?" Oars asked.

The moment the ship was within reach, Oars grabbed it and pulled it through the gap in the wall and into the Plaza. The Marines standing at the gap were utterly blown away as Oars dragged the ship into the Plaza.

"That's insane!"

"This is bad! They broke through the encircling walls!"

Sander clenched his fists in frustration; his entire battle plan was now in shambles. He had hoped to pick them off inside the bay when they were helpless, but now they were inside the Plaza.

The pirates on the ship sheared in triumph, as they were now one step closer to bringing Ace.

"We made it to the Plaza, guys!"

"Ace is right there!"

"Let's blow their headquarters down!"

"Hold on, Ace, we're coming!"

"Impressive," said Wrinkly. "That space could barely fit one ship through, yet here we are with a boatload full of pirates. The walls were supposed to trap them, but they may end up trapping us instead."

"That's enough!" Ace yelled.

"He just won't give up," Sander snarled.

"Lucky break, we got here right on time," said Stoick. "Sit tight, Ace."

Oars was utterly worn out. "Yeah, we did it. The platform… Ace is on the platform. We can still—"

He was then shot in the face by a cannonball, and then suddenly, more began to bombard him.

"Oars, no!"

Oars then toppled over, but with the last of his strength, he looked at the Hairy Hooligan Pirates one last time. "Save Ace for me, you guys. Don't let them kill him."

He then hit the ground, starting a small earthquake.

Stoick looked at Oars before turning his attention towards Ace.

"Oars… why?" Ace cried.

Stoick gripped his battleaxe and began taking a few steps forward until he was standing on the very until he was standing on the very bow of the ship. All eyes were upon him, waiting to see

what he would do next.

He then jumped off the ship, landing amongst the Marines, who quickly backed away from him.

"It's Stoick… Stoick has entered the Plaza!"

Despite being terrified, the Marines pointed their weapons at him, though they knew they would have minimal effect on him.

"My friends, please stay back," said Stoick to his crew.

He then raised his battle axe and began channelling his power for its blade. Then, with one swing, he created a massive shockwave, the blue the Marines back, leaving only the Vice-Admirals and above standing.

The command is then jumped off the ship and joined Stoick.

"Listen up, pirates!" Stoick yelled at the top of his voice and raised his fist into the air. "Bring Ace to safety, and once you're done with that, destroy the Navy!"

The pirates cheered as the wall was starting to enter its final stages.

"Are you with me, Wrinkly?" Sander asked.

"Yeah," said Wrinkly reluctantly.

"I fear that we cannot hold back any more. This battle may be our last."

Hiccup had gotten back to his feet and was charging in. "Don't worry, Ace. I'm coming for ya."
