Sasha stood on the pier, she had gotten a hold of Sidwell to give him his money back. She knew Robert wouldn't be too happy about it but she also knew she had to do this. When she got there she got a text from him saying that they'd have to have a raincheck. She was so frustrated and mad. "Why did you get yourself into this?" She asked as she thought of how this could absolutely wreck any chance of her mother and her rebuilding a relationship.
"Are you okay?" A stranger's voice said from behind.
Sasha turned around and saw a man she had never met before. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine." She told him.
"Do you care if I share the view for a minute?" He asked her.
"No, not at all. I don't own it." Sasha told him. "I'm Sasha Gilmore by the way." She extended her hand to him.
The man gave her a smile as he shook her hand. "I'm Dillon."
Sasha was intrigued by the fact he didn't say his last name. "Just Dillon? A fan of Cher?" She asked him.
Dillon laughed and shrugged. "Who isn't? I actually don't always give my last name. Especially in this town. It's not that I'm not grateful for my family but they can be a bit much. Especially my mother."
Sasha nodded, understanding where he was coming from. "Oh I get that, I work for a very chaotic family but there's a lot of love. I also have a mother that I have a rocky relationship with."
"Does she have a name? Maybe I know her?" Dillon asked her, curious to see who this stranger was connected to.
Sasha shook her head, a grin on her face. "No you don't. If you aren't telling your last name, then why should I share it with you?"
Dillon laughed as he looked out at the water. He would let it go for now. After all, that was fair. "This town has a lot of good memories for me, a lot of bad ones too."
"Do you want to talk about it?" Sasha asked, willing to lend him an ear.
Robert and Holly's Hotel Room
"Does that mean you are staying in town?" Felicia asked, excitedly. She hoped more than anything the answer was yes.
Robert and Holly looked at each other. They were figuring out Holly's problems and almost there but they needed more time.
"For the time being." Robert told Felicia. He knew how badly Holly wanted to stay too and he wanted to too but it had to be safe for all of them.
"Well that's a start!" Felicia gave Holly another hug. "I can't wait to meet your grandchild, I've been with Sasha at most of her appointments. Obviously I can't share anything but I do want you to both know she hasn't been alone."
"I don't think she could have anyone better." Holly held onto one of Felicia's hand.
"I disagree. I think she would love to have her mother more involved. It would never hurt to talk to her about it." Felicia suggested to Holly.
Holly didn't want to push with Sasha, she wanted to rebuild but was being very careful. "I don't know about that but I will give it some thought."
Mac patted Robert on the back. "You feel up to a quick little celebration downstairs or are you kids tired?"
Robert looked over at Holly, he knew they both wanted to have some you and me time. "How about a rain check baby brother? We're still in our honeymoon phase."
Felicia's grin grew as she walked over and grabbed Mac's hand. "This is where we exit. We love you both."
"We love you too." Holly told them as Felicia pulled Mac out the door.
