The Timeless Olympian

Chapter 2: Rebirth
My body was feeling like an empty husk as I felt like I was gliding through a substance of jelly-like texture. My mind was racing as I thought back to what had just occurred to me. My best friend and the girl I had a crush on for the longest time betrayed me with this dude called Jason. And this Jason guy seemed to be a demigod of high power as I could feel it radiating off of him. But that is the least of my current worries as I feel like my life and soul are being split apart. At the moment that my soul was completely free from my body it snapped back together and I started to breathe heavily. I coughed up a bit more of that silver substance as I looked around and felt completely lost as all I could see was darkness and what appeared to be stars. A very calming and subtle voice started to speak behind me.
"Why hello Percy it's nice that we finally get to meet each other in person. You have really grown a lot since the last time I visited. My name is Chaos the being of creation. You are currently in my personal realm. Don't worry my hero I will explain everything as to what has happened and what will transpire going forward. So take a seat and have a drink."
The woman named Chaos magically made a couch and a goblet appear. The goblet had some sort of black liquid inside but I trusted her as I took a massive sip of it. The taste was fantastic as it reminded me of my mom's special blue drink as I finished it all. The drink taking an odd effect as I started to lightly glow as I looked at Chaos and asked.
"Whoa what the heck was that and what do you mean by all this. All I remember is that Nyx told me that she would save me but now I am here. And my body does not fully feel like it's under my control. Could you please explain everything since I have no clue what is going on."
"Why of course my hero let us get started from the very beginning. As you know I am the primordial of creation. Everything that exists and has happened has been done because of my creations. But to be more precise they have all led up to this moment. Percy you see I need someone that will guide earth and the universe into the future that I see as necessary. Tartarus and his allies including my brother Void want to take over and Order is doing his best to fight them off but he is reaching his limit. If Order falls the entire universe could collapse. That's where you come in my hero. You will be trained up and take the mantle of the Timeless Olympian. You are to have great power and be the ruler of all."
I looked completely shocked at her as I did not know how to feel. Just a couple of minutes ago I had died from betrayal and now I was being offered a higher position than I ever thought I would have. I looked at her and finally noticed a lot more details that I had not noticed. Her hair was dark and speckled with a lot of colors. It seemed to always be flowing in the air creating a very pretty view. Her face was pale white and her eyes looked like a million stars. But what captivated me the most was her dress. The dark black dress perfectly hugged her voluptuous curves, demonstrating her perfect form as it also showed what appeared to be galaxies and star clusters. They seemed to be actively moving around as if simulating what was actually going on in the universe. As I continued to stare I completely blanked out as I shook myself back to reality and slightly blushed as I started to speak lightly again."Well I am very flattered but why did you choose me and what does this all have to do with why I was betrayed"
"Well Percy my dear I choose you because I knew you would be the perfect candidate to accomplish this. Your loyalty and willingness to fight for others is what made you a perfect fit. As for your betrayal, that was because the gods started to suspect something was off with you. You see I have always been taking care of you behind the scenes. I wanted to make sure that you were alive and made it to this age so that you would fulfill this destiny I have set up. But because of that Zeus caught on and used his son to convince the daughter of Athena to betray you and take you out offering her everything she had ever wanted. Even the revival of her lost crush Luke. I am sorry that it happened that way but that was never really my intention for your life. So that's why I plan on reviving you to your true self and having you reshape this world to one of more peace and prosperity."
I looked at her in shock and bewilderment as I looked at my body. "Wait, what do you mean revive me? I thought I was already revived." She walked up and picked my chin up with her fingers looking me in my eyes as she giggled a bit and whispered to me. "Oh you are still dead. I wanted to make sure that you were on board before I fully revived you since I didn't know how you would react and I did not want your powers to get out of control because of your emotions. If you accept I will revive you and you will train with the rest of the primordials until you are ready to start this mission."
I pondered as I felt like this was a massive step for me to take. But I really needed more answers from Chaos and I really was itching to get back at my so-called friend and the other gods that doubted me. With a very reassuring nod I look up at Chaos and smile before saying. "Well Chaos, I choose to accept your deal. I will become the Timeless Olympian and guide this world into the new age." She smiled deeply and gave me a hug which made me blush a bit more as her surprisingly warm body made contact with my body. I am still confused as to how I can feel it since I am still dead but that's a question for later. She pulled away and put her hand out. "OK Percy it is time to begin the process. It may sting at first but you will get used to it really quick." I nodded as she shot a dark beam towards me. When the beam hit my mind started to flare up as I screamed in pain. The last thing I saw was Chaos' body as I lost consciousness and felt my body fall to the floor. The darkness consumes my mind as I drift away to what appears to be sleep.
