Three days after Konoha invasion
Naruto stood in the sealing chambers in his castle where the coffins of his adoptive mother and birth mother lay. There, he performed a small yet delicate ceremony that resulted in two blue flames appearing and entering the two corpses.
"And in the domain of the Olympians. The shinigami's hold is very loose." Naruto said as he approached Lisa's coffin first.
Naruto looked inside and saw what should be a skeleton be replaced with freshly grown flesh. In a matter of moments, he witnessed the slow rebirth of Lisa Tepes. He turned towards Kushina's coffin and saw she was going through the same process but at a faster rate.
Naruto waited a minute before remembering something and stepping out for a moment. Which allowed Mukuro and Junko to sneak in with the former looking a bit anxious.
"So this is our grandma. Biological one I mean." Junko said as she leaned close to Kushina's face.
"Sister, I don't think we should be here." Mukuro said, feeling a bit anxious.
"Relax, it's not like we're going to hurt them. Dad would kill us." Junko said nonchalantly.
After a couple of minutes, Lisa and Kushina's bodies were back to their original luster. However, Lisa was completely still and unconscious as the girls waited around. As for Kushina, it took a minute before Junko noticed her eyelids and fingers twitching.
"Uh oh, someone is dreaming." Junko said as she leaned close. "Grandma, are you awake yet?"
"What are you doing?" Naruto asked, suddenly appearing.
Mukuro quickly stood up straight and was at attention while Junko almost collapsed.
"Uh, hey dad! Mukuro wanted to see our grandmas!" Junko said, lying through her teeth.
"Wha? I mean, yes! It was all my idea!" Mukuro lied as she bowed her head.
Naruto sighed at Mukuro and wondered when she would stop letting Junko walk all over her. He disciplined Junko enough to not abuse Mukuro but the older twin was as bad as Medusa in her younger years. Medusa was similar to Mukuro in regards to Stheno and Euryale but not as spineless.
"Mukuro, don't cover for your sister. If you just wanted to see your grandmothers, you could just ask. Even Kanna wanted to meet them." Naruto said as Kanna appeared behind him.
"Kanna, you little…! Grrr, you always get a pass for being cute!" Junko yelled while Kanna stuck her tongue out.
As they spoke, Kushina began to stir before finding the strength to open her eyes. Her senses slowly returned to her as she heard the voices and began to feel some familiar presence.
Kushina started to breathe as life filled her body again, giving her the aching feel of life again. As if she were born again, but all her senses were coming and reaching highly sensitive levels.
'Where am I?' Kushina thought as she struggled to look around.
"…and I'm just saying. It's not like I'll give her a heart attack." is all Kushina could hear Junko say.
Kushina tried to sit up and speak but she began to cough. She coughed loudly enough to get everyone's attention. It didn't take the sensitive hearing of a dragon to pick up the noise.
As Kushina's vision adjusted, Kanna poked her head over the coffin and stared down at the red head. Her blue slitted eyes looked at Kushina curiously. With the woman being confused as to who the child is.
"W-who… are you?" Kushina asked.
"I'm Kanna. What's your name?" Kanna asked back.
Kushina coughed again and struggled to get up when Naruto stepped forward. Kushina took a minute to look at Naruto who helped her to her seat.
"M-Minato?" She asked.
"Incorrect." Naruto quickly answered. "I'm Naruto, your son."
Kushina's senses acted out and she didn't sense a trace of her husband. Despite feeling disoriented, Kushina could tell this wasn't Minato. Instead, she felt like the infant son she gave birth to was in front of her but laced in front of her.
"Naruto? Impossible, how long have I been asleep?" Kushina asked.
"Too long." Naruto answered simply.
Naruto gave Kushina a minute to adjust as her senses were all over the place but what confused her were the presence of Kanna and the girls.
"And who are they?" Kushina asked weakly.
Junko deactivated the magical tool Mukuro used to change her appearance, making her look like a copy of Junko herself. Before Mukuro cold question anything, Junko picked up Kanna and huddled her sisters together
"We're your granddaughters!" Junko said.
"Tada!" Kanna said as she extended her hands.
Kushina blinked in confusion.
"They aren't joking." Naruto said.
Kushina didn't want to believe it but she sensed no lies. She even noticed that Junko and Mukuro kind of looked like Naruto with their blond hair and blue eyes despite being in different styles. As for Kanna, she did look a bit different.
"How?" She asked as she tried to stand.
Only to nearly fall as Naruto caught her.
"Mother, it's time you meet everyone." Naruto said as he let her grab onto his arm.
Kushina may have felt anxious and all sorts of confusion, but she felt safe. Safe as she was able to recognize the adult man in front of her really is her son. A son that had children and a large family she wa: about to meet.
One that she would instantly grow to love as she followed Naruto out the door.
Total Drama Action: Episode 1
Present day, One Hour before shooting
Naruto sighed as he walked around the empty lot that would begin the new episode of the new season of Total Drama Action. From what he was told, Chris wanted to make the next set of challenges to be based on movie tropes. Of course, he was open to ideas to further make things difficult on everyone.
Chris was also happy as the producers and lawyers wouldn't scream his ear off due to the multiple contingencies in place to keep the contestants alive and mentally sound.
Now, Naruto was looking around for a good place to wait when he saw Junko and Mukuro driving across the sets.
"Beep! Beep! Move over dad! I'm winning an oscar!" Junko said as she drove past him.
"She's going to crash that car." Naruto muttered before hearing a loud crash.
Naruto then made his way towards the entrance when he saw Veldora messing around with some art supplies and costumes. His oldest son then stopped and ran up to his father to show him the concept art and designs.
"Look father! I've made an idea regarding the superhero genre! I have these ideas on how to test the courage of these frail humans!" Veldora said, showing him various sketches.
Naruto just nodded and patted his head, "Go show them to the crew and leave your ideas in a notebook."
"Right, oh and one thing. What's your favorite comic?" Veldora asked.
"Invincible." Naruto answered before walking away.
"Invincible?" Veldora asked as he scratched his head. "That's a really bloody and messy story."
Naruto then watched the other children and subordinates of his moving around the set. Once things seemed organized, he slowly transformed into a dragon that flew into the air before perching up on top of one of the studios where he saw the contestants being dropped off.
Naruto could overhear Chris arriving on one of those extra large carts that employees use for tourists. The host explained that the set is an abandoned studio lot that was "refurbished" for them to film their new season.
"Oh, and don't forget to say hi to Naruto. Remember, he's got sensitive ears so try to be nice." Chris said, making some of them nervous.
But Izzy was likely the only one ever to greet him.
"Hey, Milim's dad! How are ya! Are those new scales!? No seriously, are they? I swear they were black and green." Izzy said, acting like a typical crazy person.
"Izzy, maybe you should tone it down." Owen suggested.
Naruto responded to Izzy by moving one of his wings as if to give a half hearted wave.
"Okay then, everyone get on the cart. We're not responsible for anyone getting lost." Chris said.
Thirteen of the fourteen present contestants then got onboard the cart and drove off. Leaving only Izzy behind who seemingly didn't notice the cart drive off.
"Izzy! Come on!" Owen shouted, but Izzy ignored him.
At that moment, Milim arrived on a segway and pulled up to Izzy.
"Need a ride, E-Scope?" Milim asked, using Izzy's supposed new name.
Izzy grinned as she hopped on and held onto Milim's shoulders as they drove next to the cart.
"Okay, seeing as "E-Scope" is here. We can begin the tour." Chris said as he drove off with Naruto watching from a distance.
A while later, city set
After showing everyone where they would dine and where they would give their confessions. Chris pulled over at the center of a set that looked like a city with some signs of damage on the buildings.
"And like I said, every challenge will be based on a film genre. So for today, it's monster movie day." Chris said.
Everyone looked stressed, scared or just very uncomfortable. They looked around expecting Naruto to attack only to see him in human form while sitting on top of a medium building. With him eating a cup of instant ramen and just staring menacingly.
"Oh no, you all get it easy today." Chris said, making them sigh in relief.
"Let me guess, you're getting a giant animatronic to be the monster?" Gwen asked.
DJ whimpered, "That doesn't sound better to me!"
Chris frowned, "When I said easy, I didn't mean I would baby you."
DJ collapsed as he remembered monsters existed and only imagined what real monsters would come to terrorize them. Prompting Chris to poke him with a stick to make sure he remained alive.
"Before I let the star of today's episode come out. Let's explain the challenge. All you gotta do is reach the cast trailers where you'll stay for the night. Last one standing gets the first pick." Chris explained.
"So basically, the winner gets to choose where we're staying? Is that it?" Heather asked, sounding slightly annoyed.
"Yeah Baldy." Chris said, earning a glare. "Besides, no one is getting eliminated today, so consider that an added perk."
"So what's the monster? What are we running away from?" Harold curiously asked.
Chris just stifled a laugh before driving away and leaving everyone behind. While he did genuinely want to tell everyone what they were running away from. Chris couldn't explain what the monster was without going into a lot of boring detail.
'I love this show.' he thought as he drove off.
As for Naruto, he just sat on the top of the building before looking over his shoulder. Where he sensed someone coming and smiled. Which didn't go so well for anyone who had good enough vision to see his smile and got everyone feeling nervous.
But then one of them had an idea.
"Hey Naruto! Since Owen technically won last season, doesn't he earn a flute?" Heather asked, secretly hoping to use the flute to save herself.
"No, but I can cover his funeral expenses on behalf of his family." Naruto replied.
"We're gonna die!?" Owen asked.
DJ screamed and began running just as the shaking began. He didn't look back and just let his legs take him away and hopefully reach a safe place to hide at.
"Hi honey." Naruto said before a building collapsed.
Suddenly, everyone was terrified by the sight of a giant shadowy figure with bright purple eyes coming from the smoke. Prompting everyone to begin running as she came close.
"Naruto's wife is back!" Harold shouted.
"Hi Milim's mom!" Izzy greeted as she ran.
Medusa ignored her and began chasing the contestants. Where the smoke began to clear up and slowly began to reveal her true form. However, all anyone could see at the moment was her hair made of sentient snakes and her serpent body.
"Snake monster!" Owen yelled.
"Technically, she's… what's called… a… Gorgon… I need to catch my breath!" Harold shouted before dropping to his knees.
"Oh no, baby you ain't staying behind." Leshawna said.
"Leave him Leshawna! It's every man for himself!" Duncan warned.
Leshawna was about to stop but saw a laser coming from Medusa's eyes and saw it tear up the ground where Harold was. The sassy girl was horrified, thinking Harold died but was shocked to see him turn to stone in the crater where he was.
"She turned Harold into a statue, dudes!" Geoff shouted as he ran faster.
Medusa then slithered past Harold's petrified body. Which was picked up by Naruto and taken away to a secure area.
'A vengeful wife is a happy wife… once she obtains her vengeance.' Naruto thought.
He knew Medusa was angry at the boys who joked about Naruto having multiple lovers due to having so many children. Medusa loved Naruto and knew he was faithful but saw the joke as an insult to their marriage.
A half hour later
Naruto scanned around the city set where he saw Lindsay and Beth had been turned to stone too. Given how the girls looked like they were holding each other and seemingly squeaking. They likely didn't suffer much.
"That leaves eleven." Naruto said before carrying their stone bodies away.
Naruto spread his wings and flew away before noticing Medusa knock over another building.
"That's my woman. Relieving herself of her stress and getting Chris nominated for another trophy." He said as he dropped off the statues.
When Naruto returned, he flew around the set and spotted Bridgette and Geoff running through one of the buildings that had an interior. Naruto decided to use a cloaking spell and hid himself as he followed the couple. Where he watched the pair make their way to the roof.
'I suppose a pointless yet difficult trek might inspire them. Perhaps I should try something of my own.' Naruto thought.
Naruto then fired a magic flare from his finger tip and a few minutes later. A trio of huey helicopters piloted by the Toby clones made their way to the city. Naruto stifled a laugh as he decided to fill the contestants with false hope.
"Babe, look! Chris must have called in the cavalry!" Geoff said as he pointed to the choppers.
Bridgette smiled as she ran up to the helipad and waved down the choppers. Two of them flashed their lights at the couple and made their way towards them.
"Tobi, to the rescue!" Tobi II shouted.
Bridgette and Geoff reached out to the helicopter when Medusa arrived and grabbed one of the helicopters with her snake hair. The snake thrashed the helicopter around as the Tobi inside screamed in terror.
"AAAHHHHHH! MAYDAY! MAYDAY! THE QUEEN IS PISSED!" Tobi II shouted before his aircraft was thrown away.
Then to the despair of the couple, the other helicopter that they reached towards them was hit by the first helicopter. They watched as the first helicopter spiraled out of control and crashed into a building in a fiery blaze while the other flew wildly across town.
"No! This can't be it!" Bridgette said as she collapsed to her knees.
Geoff put a hand on Bridgette's shoulder, "No babe, it's not over. Not as long as we have each other."
Bridgette looked at her boyfriend who bent down and hugged her. Both held onto each other tightly as Medusa slithered up the building and gazed at them. Feeling somewhat relatable as she saw the couple prefer each other's company over losing their minds or abandoning each other.
In a quick swoop, Medusa petrified the two in an instant. Turning the pair into a statue similar embracing couple statues from the remains of Pompeii.
"Cute." Medusa said apathetically.
She then left and chased after the other contestants just as Chris arrived on a helicopter piloted by Mukuro with Junko filming the whole thing.
"Gross, the stupid power of love. Where's the despair?" Junko asked, clearly annoyed.
"Meh, it doesn't matter. This stuff sells." Chris said as they filmed Naruto taking away the statues.
Chris then looked around before spotting the final Tobi chopper. Which was then hit by a car that Medusa threw.
"Hey, let's follow that." He suggested.
"You heard the man, Mukuro. Move the stupid chopper already." Junko ordered.
Mukuro nodded and sped towards her mother's location.
With Duncan's group
Duncan was currently running in the middle of the street with Gwen and Trent close behind. The trio were already at their limit with how much their anxiety built up.
"This has to be the most intense challenge so far." Trent said.
"Yeah, physically that is." Duncan said.
"Watch out!" Gwen shouted.
The boys looked up and saw the final helicopter crashing against the windows of a nearby building. The glass shards flew in every direction and nearly hit the three of them as a result.
"We could have used the ride." Trent said, looking disappointed.
"Don't worry, we can make it. We just need to—"
Gwen was cut off by the sound of a laser heading their way. The goth girl stumbled at the sight and hit the pavement hard.
"Gwen!" Trent yelled as he stopped and ran to her side.
"Leave her dude!" Duncan shouted.
Trent ignored him and helped up Gwen who shook her head.
"Trent, you shouldn't have come back for me!" She said.
"But I did! So it doesn't matter." Trent said.
Before Gwen could argue, Trent without hesitation picked up Gwen by the waist and threw her towards an alleyway. Where Gwen watched as her boyfriend was hit by Medusa's laser and instantly turned to stone.
"Trent!" Gwen cried out.
"Hey girl! There ain't no time to be mournin'!" Leshawna said as she appeared behind Gwen.
"What? Leshawna? Where did…"
"No time for that! DJ, Justin and I think we found a route outta this crazy place." Leshawna interrupted as he took her to DJ.
From there, Gwen and Leshawna saw DJ trying to use all his strength to pry open a lid covering the sewer access. All the while Justin is just taking deep breaths and trying to keep himself from having a panic attack.
"Okay, be cool. It's going to be over soon." Justin told himself.
"Woah, Justin, I didn't know you were that scared of—"
"Sewers? No, not remotely. It's what goes on in the sewers that scares me. Gross, all that urine and other stuff." Justin said, ready to gag.
"I was gonna say, Medusa." Gwen said.
"Oh, her? I'm scared of her too, but at least she'll make it quick and painless. Kind of ironic how pretty she is but scary at the same time. I guess she's like a mermaid but part snake instead of fish." Justin said as he thought about it.
"I think Harold called her a Gorgon or something like that." Leshawna said.
Justin raised a brow as he didn't recognize the word. He didn't bother brushing up on Greek Mythology after the last season. At best, he likely only knew about iconic figures like Adonis who was said to be the most beautiful man.
However, everyone was interrupted by the sound of a large crack. Where they saw DJ rip out a chunk of the ground along with the lid.
"DJ, you didn't need to show off." Leshawna said.
DJ shook his head, "I didn't, the manhole cover was just a prop. Look there!"
The girls and Justin paled as they saw a small drainage space. They couldn't fit anything smaller than a mouse down there. DJ even began reaching down there to confirm that he wasn't kidding.
"There ain't no way we can fit down there!" DJ shouted.
"Yeah, I'm out. I'm a model for just about every part of my body. Not a contortionist." Justin said before deciding to look at his own reflection in his handheld mirror.
It was then that Justin saw Medusa incoming and saw a glimpse of her mystic eyes. Without needing to fire a laser, Medusa started to petrify Justin who felt his feet go stiff.
"Well if I'm going. I'll go looking handsome. Goodbye, cruel and less beautiful world. I know you will miss me." Justin said before striking a pose.
He then turned to stone in front of everyone. Prompting the girls to run away while DJ turned around and screamed in the most girly pose he could muster.
"MAMA!" He shouted before being petrified.
"DJ!" the girls shouted as they ran.
Soon enough, they started running to the point that they felt their legs cramp up. Where they saw Medusa's lasers destroying the ground behind them. Only making it as they dived towards a nearby alleyway. With that passage closing right behind them, seemingly protecting them as Medusa passed by.
"Gwen, are you okay?" Leshawna asked as she looked around.
Gwen sighed loudly, "Barely, can you help me out though?"
Leshawna looked and saw a small piece of debris on Gwen's lower half. Seeing as how it didn't look anything too big and there was no sign of injury. Leshawna sighed in relief and nodded as she pulled Gwen out of the rubble.
"We're lucky Chris probably got cheap with the set." Leshawna said, only imagining how badly injured Gwen should be.
Only to be shocked by the sight of Gwen's legs turning into stone. Making Leshawna accidentally drop Gwen who groaned before seeing her condition.
"Oh no! No! No! No!" Gwen cried out.
"Wipe it off, girl! Maybe it's like wet cement!" Leshawna suggested.
Gwen desperately tried to wipe off the stone only to end up turning to stone.
"Aw man, I'm sorry Gwen. We should have stayed put in that other alley." Leshawna said, feeling a bit regretful
Leshawna shook her head and rubbed her temples. She then shook her head and looked back at Gwen one more time before noticing Naruto circling around in the sky like a vulture.
"Sorry Gwen, I couldn't help you or Harold. I guess I'm on my own." She said as she started running again.
Naruto then got down and gently picked up Gwen's body, "It's too bad, you're my wife's favorite."
With Owen
Owen was doing a bad job of hiding behind a bench while occasionally peeking around. He then began to tiptoe around in hopes of avoiding Medusa's sight when Izzy popped out of a dumpster like a gopher!
"Owen!" She said, startling him.
"AH! Izzy, what are you doing there!?" Owen asked.
Izzy gave him a blank stare while remaining silent.
"Izzy? I said… oh right, sorry. I meant to say, Kaleidoscope, what are you doing there?" Owen asked, using Izzy's new name.
Izzy grinned, "I thought outside of the box on how to survive. So, I dug through the trash and tried to find supplies and stuff but then I remembered this isn't an apocalypse movie."
"O…kay. So, who do you think is left?" Owen asked.
Izzy tapped her chin before watching as a paper plane landed next to her. Izzy opened it up and laughed before throwing the plane away.
"Haha, Milim is so funny." She said.
"What did she say?" Owen asked.
"She said it's just us, Leshawna, Duncan and Heather. Everyone else is all gone." Izzy said, not sounding too bothered.
"Geez, how far are we supposed to go?" Owen asked, wondering how far the goal is.
Izzy jumped out of the dumpster and sat on Owen's shoulder. Where she pulled out a styrofoam cone used for toilet paper and used it as a telescope. The crazy girl began to hum before pointing in a random direction.
"700 paces weast, Big O!" Izzy said, using a random length of measurement.
"Alright, Captain Kaleidoscope! I'll get us there!" Owen said as he ran in the random direction.
Unfortunately for Owen, he was far too gullible and far too trusting. While Izzy had long forgiven him for abandoning her in the horror movie challenge and for forgetting her new name twice. She was insane and genuinely had no idea where the cast trailers were. In fact, she just pointed in a direction that seemed clear of Medusa.
Owen would start to wonder this after a few minutes of jogging followed by speed walking and finally just dragging his feet. Where he rested against a wall, thinking he had run several miles.
"Izzy, how far east do we need to go?" Owen asked as he panted.
"Who said east? I said, "weast" not east." Izzy said.
Owen stared at her, feeling dumbfounded, "Izzy, I think you meant west."
"Huh? Must be a slip of the tongue or the cardinal direction. Which way is the desert?" Izzy asked.
Owen slapped his forehead and instantly regretted relying on his crazy crush for directions. He decided to look around and hope Chris left a legitimate map somewhere. However, his hope of finding the true way towards the end goal came when he felt the ground shake.
"Oh boy, here comes the snake lady!" Owen shouted as he tried to hide.
Izzy jumped off of his shoulder and looked around before spotting Heather and Leshawna who were arguing.
"I don't need you telling me where to go, skinny girl. Why are you even following me?" Leshawna asked.
"Obviously, if your large size has any worth. It's being a meat shield." Heather said, not hiding her evil nature.
Leshawna snarled, "You are tempting me to lose this challenge by feeding you to that woman."
Heather, clearly doing nothing to remedy the situation, just let her arrogance take the best of her. She laughed and turned around to cross her arms.
"You're not that dumb, Leshawna. Besides, I actually brought a compass. Some stupid cowboy GPS so I can be ready this time." Heather said, thinking she won this game.
"Oh? What's a "cowboy GPS" going to do when you don't know where the trailers are?" Leshawna asked.
Heather's cocky smile disappeared as she didn't think this through. She wasn't a fan of camping and participated last season for the sole purpose of making money. She thought being somewhat prepared this time would at least help her in some way. Instead, it proved that her lack of knowledge wasn't going to help her.
The argument came to a pause when Izzy intervened.
"Hey guys, I would say to stop fighting and notice the craziness but people say I'm not "sensible" or something. I don't know, but can I have that compass?" Izzy asked, thinking she can use it herself.
"Back off crazy girl. The last thing I need is–"
Heather was itnerrupted by one of the snakes on Medusa's head to burst through a wall and hiss at them. Heather screamed as she tried to run only to be blasted by the laser with Leshawna following suit.
"Hey Milim's mom's snake hair thing! By any chance, do you know which is east and west?" Izzy asked, ignoring the situation.
Seconds later, Izzy was petrified up to her neck and felt the lower part of her throat begin to go stiff.
"Ok, ow. Now my throat feels dry. Is this how statues feel?" Izzy asked before being turned to stone.
"IZZY! NOOOOOO!" Owen shouted dramatically.
Soon, the building came down and a glaring Medusa came through and looked down at Owen. Owen then grabbed a nearby umbrella prop and tried to use it like a shield.
"Listen ma'am, if this was the joke about your husband getting with other girls. I'm really sorry and my mom told me to never joke about marriages. I promise to never joke about that stuff again and I'm once again, really, really, really sorry." Owen said, hoping his speech reduced her anger.
Medusa didn't budge and let her snakes go crazy. They destroyed the entire block and ripped apart the streets as one of them aimed for Owen who threw his umbrella. Only for it to be destroyed in the process and shooting past it.
When the destruction cleared up, Medusa found an empty spice. She couldn't see Owen's petrified body or even a fragment. She began to look around and wondered if he either shattered but could only sense a terrible odor.
"He escaped, Love." Naruto said as he landed on her shoulder.
Medusa's snakes hissed at Naruto but he stood there and gave her a firm look as her eyes softened.
"You'll get him later." Naruto said as he caressed her soft cheek.
Medusa leaned her head towards feeling a sense of comfort towards her husband before moving on to find Duncan.
With Owen
Owen screamed the whole time Medusa attacked him and his fear resulted in him farting too hard. The result caused his new space time powers to send him across the movie studio. Where he soon found himself near the end of the set.
"I'm alive? I'M ALIVE!" Owen cried out as he kissed the ground.
A minute later, a Tobi driving around on an army jeep arrived. He beeped at Owen and gestured to him to get inside. Which Owen graciously accepted but not without making the entire vehicle to tilt on one which made it a bit tricky to drive.
"My bad." Owen said, chuckling nervously.
"Tobi-mobiles are built for Tobi's. Anything more than 25 kilos on one side is too heavy." Tobi said, making Owen feel less bad.
As they began to drive towards the trailer. Owen looked around in confusion before realizing something the moment Izzy got petrified.
"Hey, did you see Duncan anywhere?" Owen asked.
A second later, a stone statue of Duncan landed on a conveniently placed net that was ahead of them.
"Oh, never mind." Owen said as they arrived at the trailers.
From there, several staff members started setting up all the stone statues. With Naruto arriving with Duncan's petrified body to finish the entire set.
"My wife got a bit too excited with the delinquent." Naruto said as he put Duncan's body down.
Soon enough, Chris had arrived on a jeep driven by Chef.
"Owen, I see your farting helped you out again. Dude, are you severely a superhero?" Chris asked only to see Owen shrug.
A moment later, a woman with a red cloak appeared and she slowly approached the petrified contestants. Owen watched in silence as the woman began pouring a mystery liquid on everyone. Slowly causing their rocky exterior to break apart and wake everyone up at the cost of vertigo and partial blindness.
"I'm blind!" Harold shouted.
"My neck, shoulders and elbows hurt." Justin complained.
"Ours too." Lindsay and Beth said.
"I'm still thirsty." Izzy said, giving some people the wrong idea.
As everyone slowly recovered, a certain few got a good look at the mystery healer's face. Where they saw a youthful woman with blue eyes and long blond hair sticking out of her cloak.
"Hey lady, have we met before?" Geoff asked as he squinted his eyes.
"Did she work on the set before?" Leshawna asked, sensing some familiarity.
Geoff squinted at the woman as she saw her walk towards Naruto's side while keeping her face obscured. The goth girl felt an enormous amount of deja vu. Like the mystery healer was someone she has met before but hasn't interacted with.
"No, I've definitely seen her before." Geoff said.
"You have? Where?" Bridget asked.
"I don't… wait, hang on a minute." he said as he tried remembering.
Geoff's mind dwelled back to the horror movie challenge. Back when everyone had to locate the "keys" hidden within the portraits. He found one of them on accident after nearly destroying a painting.
"I think I remember seeing her. I think she's…"
Leshawna couldn't remember but didn't have time to take a guess as Chris spoke up.
"Congratulations for reaching the end, everybody. You're lucky the queen of monsters was in a good mood." Chris said.
"That was a good mood!?" Duncan asked.
"Well, she wasn't angry but that doesn't matter. Congratulations to Owen for reaching the trailers. Now, one more thing before we get to the next part." Chris said before leading everyone away.
All the while Naruto gently took the woman's hand and led her away.
"Stay close, Mother." he said.
A while later
Everyone was standing in the crafts tent where they saw a large assortment of food waiting for them on the table. Owen, very eager to devour the whole table, took a wild guess at what the next challenge of the day was.
"Woah, this looks like something out of a commercial." Geoff said, obviously impressed.
"Can I star in it?" Lindsay asked, thinking there was a real commercial.
Before anyone else said anything, Owen began to run and dived right into the table.
"Let's get this eating contest started!" he exclaimed as he began to eat away.
"Owen, wait, it's not that kind of… aw, forget it." Chris said as Owen ate away.
Just then, Naruto entered the tent and saw the mess that Owen got himself into. He then left and came back after a few minutes with the mystery healer. With the woman gasping at the sight of Owen eating like an animal and finishing up.
Yet, it wasn't the poor manners that got the woman feeling disturbed.
"That was amazing, but it felt raw for some reason." Owen said.
"Young man! That was not food! It was all synthetic!" she shouted as she covered her mouth.
"What does synthetic mean?" Owen asked, noticing everyone beginning to laugh.
"Dude, she means it's fake. It wasn't an eating challenge." Chris said, stifling a laugh.
"And the food was fake. It was all decorations." Naruto added as he grabbed the salad.
The salad was the only thing Owen didn't eat and he started breaking it apart to show Owen. Revealing the salad was just paper-like materials held together with plastic, glue and other things to make it look real. As Geoff said, it looked good enough for a commercial but clearly, it looked too real.
"Yeah dude, it was just props." Chris added as he could hear Owen's stomach churning. "Owen, you didn't eat the key, did you?"
Owen let out a burp before he could answer and the reflex caused him to spit out a key. Which was meant to be hidden as part of the challenge regarding the trailers.
"Well, at least you won the first dibs on a trailer for the guys." Chris said.
"Wow really?" Owen asked.
"That and maybe some medical attention." Chris said as the healer started diagnosing.
Owen was about to decline but he felt like his stomach was being ripped open by a chainsaw.
"Medical help, I definitely need that." Owen said.
No one noticed Medusa was watching them from a distance and listening in on Owen's pain with a smirk on her face.
Later that day
Owen was still fighting off the stomach pain when Chris had him and everyone else approach the trailers. Both seemed to be ordinary with no real difference. In fact, the trailers looked more habitable compared to the disgusting rundown cabins back on the island.
"Okay Owen, what's your pick?" Chris asked.
"Does it matter? They look the same." Heather said.
"Which one faces the ocean?" Lindsay asked while scratching her head.
"We're nowhere near the ocean." Bridgette answered.
Owen looked at the two trailers as if he were trying to form some kind of emotional bond with one of them. He stared at them silently and trying to take in the proper temporary home for the next few weeks when Milim suddenly appeared and landed on top of a trailer, flattening it.
"Hey guys!" She greeted.
"The squashed one! It has more character." Owen said, making the boys groan while the girls cheered.
However, the small victory they got from having temporary residence instantly went away. Because Kanna suddenly appeared and crashed onto the trailer and flattened it as well.
"Big Sister, you cheated." Kanna said while pointing at Milim.
"I did not. I told you to count to a thousand while I went hiding." Milim said.
"You're a liar. You went to hang out with Izzy." Kanna said with a glare.
"Enough." Naruto spoke up.
Naruto grabbed Kanna and hoisted her onto his shoulders before dragging Milim off of the trailer.
"Now, I have to fix these trailers myself." He said.
"Sorry papa." Kanna said.
"Sorry dad." Milim said.
Naruto then waved his hand at the trailers as a large clock appeared at the center. Where everyone witnessed the clock moving in the opposite direction as the trailers reverted back to normal.
"So much for character." Owen complained.
Naruto sighed and shoved a thermos into Owen's hand, "Stop complaining, go inside and drink this for your stomach. My mot— the healer, she made this for you."
"Oh sweet." Owen said before chugging it down.
Only to then fall to his knees and scream as if he had devoured and entire bottle of sulfuric acid. Owen could hear and feel everything clearing up but it burned so badly that he started curling up on the ground and rolling back and forth.
"Nice prank." Chris complimented.
"It wasn't a joke." Naruto said, feeling confused.
Geoff's Confessional
Geoff bursted out laughing, "I think someone spiked Owen's drink. I feel bad for him, but I can't help but laugh. This is some college fraternity stuff right there."
DJ's Confessional
"Hey, as a guy who's been sick before, I feel Owen's pain. Besides, if the medicine hurts, it means it's doing its job. That's what mama always told me whenever I take some nasty medicine." DJ explained as he nodded.
Back on set
While the campers were getting ready for bed with the boys praying that Owen doesn't explode into a giant ball of toxic gas. Naruto and a couple of others were going through the medical tent set up for the healer. Naruto was looking a bit suspicious as he saw some of the supplies were unceremoniously replaced with the real ingredients being hidden away.
"It was flimsy at best, but someone recently broke in and tampered with the supplies." Naruto said as he looked around.
Milim was nearby and scanning the place with a magnifying glass. Which she did not need as her eyes were sensitive and could see things from many miles away.
"Dad, I found weird tracks. Like a tentacle or something was moving stuff." she said.
Naruto looked at the odd looking tracks that didn't appear too deep on the ground. The intruder didn't seem to be too cautious in regards to breaking in and moving things around.
"This looks more like a serpent's tail." he countered.
"Oh, that makes more sense. In fact, that means I know who the culprit is." Milim said.
Naruto gave her a blank look that said he did not believe her but was going to let Milim explain her theory.
"It was Sapphentite. She's the only other competent healer. The only person who wouldn't be seen moving around suspiciously and she's one of the few of us that's part snake, not dragon." Milim explained.
Naruto just sighed as Milim went to harass her younger sister. While he went to organize the medical tent again while deciding to make an order for a proper care facility.
That's when the healer entered and lowered her hood. Revealing the face of Lisa Tepes, the woman who took in Naruto. Now alive and while a bit disoriented with the strange new world which had adopted a more modernized society even with gods and monsters. Lisa seems to at least find solace having been with her son and his extended family.
"I don't believe it was Sapphentite." Lisa said.
"I know, my stories of you inspired her to study medicine. It would be disrespectful in her eyes to turn medicine into tools of harm." Naruto said, turning to his step mother.
"As flattered as I am to hear that, I'm still concerned about who the saboteur is." Lisa said.
"It's Medusa." Naruto said, confusing Lisa. "She was likely bitter that Owen escaped and decided to hurt him."
Lisa let out a sigh, "Is this going to be a recurring issue?"
"It will not. I'll speak with her just to remind her. My wife can be mischievous." Naruto answered.
Lisa smiled, "While I am okay with your games. I would prefer it if she does not permanently maim anyone."
Naruto sighed knowing his mother was against violence. His only fear when resurrecting her was thinking about how she would react to him being a monster and how much destruction he caused. Despite the trail of destruction he left, Lisa seemed to still see goodness in the little boy she took in. Even if he can be annoyed and still cause destruction.
Lisa isn't a fan of all the sadism, but seems to be adjusting to it. At least that's how it seems.
"I'll see you in the morning, my son. Remember to tuck in your children and have a good night's rest." she told him.
Naruto nodded and began to walk out of the tent.
"And in a bed too, no more caves or empty spaces." Lisa added.
Naruto groaned at the last statement. He was happy to reunite with his mother but didn't want to be babied. Perhaps such standards were too much to ask for.
"Good night." he said.
Lisa sighed, "He's not a boy anymore. He's a man. I need to remember that."
Lisa then looked out the doorway towards a figure that was eavesdropping.
"You could have spoken with him too. He's your child as well, Kushina." she said, revealing the redhead in a guard's uniform.
Kushina pouted, "It's hard. You knew him for so long and I gotta start from scratch."
"Kushina, the both of us have the entire "season" as they call it, to start over." Lisa said, hoping his child's birth mother would try harder.
"Fine, but somehow it's easier with my grandkids." Kushina said before heading back to her own quarters.
The next morning
The day started off like any other, with Chef's disgusting cooking. Today, he decided to go with something easy which was burnt toast and scrambled eggs. There were also some pancakes but there were not really as high quality as the ones from the season finale.
The breakfast hour continued with random drama being stirred up like Trent showing a slightly clingy side. Izzy is being weird by adding ketchup to her pancakes. Lindsay and Beth talked about something random and likely becoming the new Katie and Satie. A typical day albeit a slight shift in friendship circles as teams have not been formed yet.
And Owen was also still having stomach related issues which were bad to the point he ate nothing but prunes.
Then the real harsh part of the day started with Chris arriving to announce today's challenge.
"Welcome everyone to the second day of Total Drama Action!" Chris said as he pulled out a clapperboard.
"Are you seriously going to do that everytime?" Duncan asked.
"Yes. Yes I am. As for today's challenge, it will be an alien invasion flick." Chris said, turning some heads.
"Sweet, I love alien movies." Duncan said.
"Really? What did you watch?" Gwen asked.
Harold scoffed from his seat, "And they call me a nerd."
"What was that?" Duncan asked, making him shiver.
Harold's Confessional
"What? So I'm a nerd because I wear glasses and I'm into magic, video games and other stuff? Well guess what? If you're super knowledgeable on a topic and know a lot of info. That makes you a nerd too. I'm looking at you, every sports fan ever!" Harold said, venting out his anger.
Beatrice's Confessional
Beatrice (better known as Betty) put up a cushion on the chair as she got a better view of the camera.
"While Betty does not care for the skinny boy's rant. He is correct, a nerd constitutes someone who has a lot of knowledge on a subject. Someone who reads too many graphic novels or cartoons is no different from someone who can precisely state specific details on a football player's statistics and highlights of their games. Avid sports fans are nerds too, I suppose." Betty explained, thinking she ended a debate.
Then Junko stuck her head inside and grinned, "Then that makes you the Queen of Nerds since you lock yourself up in a library all day everyday."
Beatrice glared at Junko before firing lightning bolts at her sister. Causing Junko to laugh as she ran away.
"Run coward!" she shouted.
"You can call me a coward, but you just admitted to being a nerd, ha!" Junko shouted as she escaped.
Back on set
Chris led everyone to the set of what is supposed to be an alien ship. From there, Chris gave them the basic explanation of the film genre. Which mostly covered the concept of the classic alien films mixed together.
"You all get the idea. Aliens land, they want to reproduce and the cast tries to stop them. Then the military gets involved." Chris explained.
"We're not getting an actual alien, are we?" DJ asked.
"I wish but we gotta work with what we got." Chris said.
"What then? Is it Chef in a stupid costume?" Heather asked.
"Woah, we're not that under budget. I think you'll recognize it when you see it." Chris said.
Suddenly, Naruto arrived in his natural form, but he was wearing an army combat uniform. Alongside him was Ana who wore a very similar uniform with her purple hair tied into a bun.
"I see General Naruto and Staff Sergeant Ana are here. Read them their orders." Chris said.
Naruto pulled out a chart of the ship which only showed a general design of the place. There was no real pattern and the design was too obscure to make any sense of it.
"You will enter the aircraft and find the alien hive. You will find eggs and attempt to leave with them. However, that's when the timer begins." Naruto said,
"Timer for when the challenge ends?" DJ asked, sounding hopeful.
"Timer for when the bomb goes off and you die if you don't escape." Ana said bluntly.
DJ winced as did several other contestants. Where they then saw a cart bringing in an explosive device and some wires.
"Obviously, exploding is bad for you." Naruto said.
"Is it?" Izzy asked, getting some odd looks.
"Yes, now stop interrupting me." Naruto said. "Once your eggs are taken and you escape before detonation, return to home base right away."
"Cool, just explore the place. Take what we need and run or else we explode. No biggie." Duncan said calmly.
"I don't wanna explode!" DJ yelled.
Ana then cleared her throat, "A final warning before you go. An alien film is nothing without aliens. However, you will not face a single type of alien."
"Oh, like a mix of face huggers and stuff like that?" Gwen asked, sounding more interested than scared.
"Close." Naruto answered.
Naruto and his daughter then looked at the top of one of the set buildings. Which made everyone turn their heads towards it. Where they then heard a loud clicking sound and saw a female figure with a faceless mask and long red hair suddenly appear and disappear.
"At least we get some originality." Duncan said with a smirk.
"Woah, it's the, uh… the thing… the jungle alien…" Trent tried to say.
"The Predator?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah, that one." Trent said, smiling at his girlfriend for helping him.
"Get a move on!" Chris yelled.
The fourteen teens then ran into the ship and began to move with great urgency. Only letting time and chance to be the ones to take them out.
All the while, Ana blinked twice as she felt someone rub her head before leaving.
"She's quite affectionate." Ana commented.
Naruto let out a rare smile, "Get used to it Ana. You have another grandmother and she's quite affectionate and fun loving."
"And quite strong." Ana added.
Inside of the ship
Kushina took a few deep breaths as she hid in the shadows. She happily took this job opportunity to be closer to her son. Albeit it was little fun as her targets were just fourteen generic children with no abilities of their own.
Kushina was never really the type to play with her food but this was more toward entertaining others.
'Remember Kushina, just don't kill them. At least two of them have to win.' The redhead thought.
Kushina took a few more breaths before moving around again. Being alive put a small strain on her body as it wasn't what it used to be. From rejuvenation to recovering from a pregnancy that only felt like it ended a few days ago. Kushina's handicap made it more fair for the teens to have a chance.
"Hey Gwen, since some alien movies can count as horror movies. Do you got any advice?" Trent asked.
"It might vary, but I got a few ideas." Gwen answered.
Duncan rolled his eyes.
Duncan's confessional
"This guy is a loon. He's line a love struck puppy or something. It's way too easy to mess with this guy's head." Duncan complained.
Back to the game
Leshawna nodded at the couple, "Trent does have a point. You and Duncan are the only ones with any idea of what to do."
"Like Duncan could navigate this labyrinth." Harold mocked.
"How about I turn this place into your tomb?" Duncan suggested in a threatening manner.
Before Harold could utter a response, three red dots in the shape of a triangle appeared over Duncan's forehead.
"Uh oh." Duncan said.
"Look out!" Gwen yelled as she tackled him down.
A second later, a plasma bolt hit the wall and melted a hole through. Everyone could see it came from Kushina who was hanging on the corner of a wall. The whole group ran around in circles before going their separate ways as Kushina fired another plasma bolt.
"Run for it!" Harold yelled.
Kushina jumped around and stood on a nearby rail where a pool of green liquid lay under her. She looked around and saw everyone but Izzy escaped. The woman tilted her head in confusion as she saw Izzy pull out a pair of orange gloves that looked like the arms of a lizard with claws.
"Haha! Now is a perfect time for me to use Milim's present." Izzy said as she took up a silly stance.
'This girl is insane. I like it.' Kushina thought as she extended a blade from her wrist.
Kushina then threw a few slashes that Izzy dodged with ease. Leaving the girl thinking she has a good chance with every bladed strike she missed.
"Come on alien hunter lady, don't you got a million weapons or whatever?" Izzy asked.
Kushina then threw a fake kick that Izzy ducked under the blow that never came. Only for the Uzumaki to do a low kick that knocked Izzy onto her back. Kushina then purposely stabbed the floor next to Izzy's head to get a reaction.
"Woah! Super close there! Too bad I need my head!" Izzy said as she tried to punch Kushina.
Only for the older woman to grab her gloved hand and flip her across the room. She then ran after Izzy who slowly got up and raised her gloves to block a light punch. Only to see that it made Izzy skid back a couple of feet.
"Wow, these knuckles saved my life." Izzy said before throwing down a smoke bomb.
Kushina could easily tell where Izzy went but pretended to be angry and confused. Even letting out a growl that scared some of the campers in the distance.
'That's right, don't give them the fear of a god. Give them the fear of a devil.' She thought.
Elsewhere
Duncan, DJ, Trent and Gwen were approaching the boiler room where the eggs were. All the while Trent was being jealous or something as he tried to include himself in the conversation.
"Yeah, the boiler room. It makes sense, because why wouldn't it?" Trent asked, thinking the boiler room was a common trope.
"Dude, you're being weird." Duncan pointed out.
"Weird? Is that a problem? Gwen?" Trent asked, looking for Gwen for some support.
Gwen let out a sigh and decided to change the subject. She looked at DJ who was rubbing his arms due to how cold the set felt.
"Hey DJ, are you feeling alright?" She asked.
"I mean, I'm still shaken from the red haired alien but I'm good." DJ said as he pulled out the tablet.
"Hang in there man. I bet we're not far from the boiler room." Trent said, switching to being a supportive friend.
"Yeah, I think it's nearby. Let's take a look." DJ said as he shared the tablet.
None of them noticed the "aliens" that were watching them from the vents. As they focused on the tablet and the map on it. Shiro, Bradley and Kurama came out from the vents wearing adorable alien outfits with paintball guns.
"Okay, so it's just this way. We need to open the big door and probably find a whole hive of eggs." Duncan said, getting a grasp of their directions.
"Yeah, and…"
"AHHHH!"
Everyone turned to see DJ scream as the animals shot DJ with multiple green paintballs. Then seeing the costumes, they could only guess they were the original aliens they were meant to avoid.
"Gwen, we gotta go!" Trent said as he picked up Gwen and threw her over his shoulder.
"Woah, Trent! Slow down!" Gwen exclaimed as her boyfriend began to run.
"Oh sure, abandon your companion… It's selfish but it makes sense." Duncan said.
Duncan started running and dodged every paintball shot aimed for him. He kept running before diving around the corner finding a big door with a valve in the middle. Once inside, he quickly closed the door behind him and waited for the animals to leave.
Once he thought it was clear, Duncan let out a sigh before realizing two things. One, he was in the boiler room and the eggs were right underneath some glass. Two, Trent was hiding in a corner with his hand slapped over Gwen's mouth to keep her quiet.
"Oh hey Duncan, you're still in the game." Trent said, making Duncan frown.
"Yeah, no thanks to you, Elvis." Duncan said before noticing Gwen's face. "You know she needs to breathe, right?"
"Oops, sorry Gwen!" Trent said as he released her.
Gwen coughed a bit before glaring at Trent for a second.
"Dude, did you really need to do that?" Duncan asked.
"What? Save her life? You would do the same for Courtney." Trent said, making the delinquent scowl.
Duncan's confessional
"Okay, while I respect that, Trent knows that "leave no man behind" doesn't apply here. I'm so getting back at him. Also, I would do it for Courtney? No way!" Duncan said as he crossed his arms.
Duncan rolled his eyes and sat there in silence for a minute. Yet it didn't go past him if he risked his life for someone. It would be Courtney and he would abandon everyone else.
"Don't look at me like that! You don't know me!" Duncan yelled.
Back on set, with Justin's group
Justin was leading a group with Lindsay and Beth following close behind him while Geoff and Bridget were holding hands. Justin was obviously keeping a cool head while also trying to avoid the random puffs of steam that kept popping out from the pipes.
"Yikes, for a civilization from outer space. You would think they would be smart and beautiful." Justin said.
"That just means we gotta protect you. We wouldn't want the aliens to abduct you." Beth said with Lindsay nodding in agreement
"Oh, that's so sweet. I wouldn't want to be displayed for millions of gross aliens to stare at anyways." Justin said, thinking he just earned two meat shields.
As they continued their trail towards the egg room. They reached a diverging path that prompted Beth to look at the tablet with the map on it.
"Hm, this is weird. It's like a maze after this point." She said.
"Show me, I used to be good at mazes when I was a little kid." Justin said, referring to the maze puzzles on a kid's menu.
Beth giggled and gave it to him, leaving Justin to scratch his head in confusion. He wasn't sure if he was even in the right place. But I didn't want to look stupid as the challenge was simple and straightforward enough.
"Hey Geoff, Bridget, for reference, what would you say… Can you two stop kissing for a minute? It's sweet I guess, but it's really distracting." Just said, sounding slightly annoyed.
Geoff took out a finger and shook it in response, making Justin roll his eyes. Before the pretty boy could respond and ask for help.
Kushina dropped her camouflage and slashed at Bridget's back with a rubber blade covered in green paint. The surfer girl cried out in shock before knocking down Geoff and landing on his chest as he saw the paint on her back.
"Babe, no!" Geoff yelled.
"Kiss me, Geoff. One last time." Bridget said as if she were dying.
Geoff nodded before kissing her like nothing happened. Which made Kushina roll her eyes and make her switch the cannon on her back to shoot paintballs on full auto. This made Geoff and Bridget stand up and run away as they couldn't handle the barrage of paintballs.
Once they left, Kushina focused on Justin and the girls with the pretty boy hiding behind Lindsay and Beth.
"Girls, remember your promise? I think she might do more than just abduct me." Justin said.
Kushina cracked her knuckles to further terrify all of them. Only to see Lindsay and Beth puff out their chests at her.
"We're gonna protect Justin!" Lindsay said.
"Yeah and our power of friendship makes us strong! You're gonna have to go through both of us!" Beth exclaimed.
Kushina smirked behind her mask as she fired her paintballs at full auto. Which made them cry out in pain as they collapsed. Leaving only Justin to run away like a coward.
"No, I'm too pretty to die and be shot with paint! It will ruin my perfect skin!" Justin shouted in terror.
Kushina rolled her eyes, 'I thought fangirls were a pain and yet, this boy exists.'
She fired a heavy round at Justin's back that made him hit the ground hard. Along with staining parts of his body along with the back of his shirt.
"NOOOOOOO!" Justin cried out as if he were stabbed.
Outside
A few of the staff members along with Naruto and Ana were keeping track of the set and the contestants. All the while Ana was focused on the footage of her paternal grandmother.
"I thought you said she was more vicious." Ana said, being careful not to sound rude.
"She hasn't found a challenge yet. Your grandmother is basically Junko but 15% more sane." Naruto replied.
"…what does 15% look like?" Ana curiously asked.
"You will know." Naruto said.
"My lord, the boiler room has been breached. Three contestants are attempting to escape the ship." A staff member said.
Naruto and Anna looked at the map showing Trent, Gwen and Duncan were in the boiler room. With footage showing them struggling to pick up the eggs without breaking them.
"What about the remaining cast?" Naruto asked.
"Lady Kushina has engaged Harold and Leshawna." Another one answered.
"Then have Shiro and the boys go after the trio in the boiler room. At this point, its too late for anyone else to win." Naruto ordered.
"Alerting the little animals." They replied.
With Kushina
After watching Leshawna get shot in the back with a paintball cannon. Harold glared at Kushina and proceeded to hop around on one foot with all the speed he could muster.
"I'll avenge you, Leshawna! Snake Style! Hah!" Harold yelled as he thrusted his hands towards Kushina.
Kushina just weaved around his strikes without any effort. Then watched as Harold took a different stance which made even Leshawna sigh.
"Boar Style! Headbutt!" Harold shouted as he tried to slam his head into her.
Kushina stepped to the side and watched Harold smack into the wall. The nerd then collapsed right in front of her and muttered something about avenging Leshawna.
"Harold. Baby, please stop." Leshawna said, feeling embarrassed.
Kushina bent down and jabbed Harold in the chest with her plastic blade.
Before Harold could overreact again, Kushina sensed Heather who stumbled nearby. She then jumped between gaps on the set before finding Heather who stumbled and dropped her wig.
"Uh oh, looks like Heather ain't getting off easy." Leshawna said as she decided to watch.
Leshawna then watched as Heather noticed Kushina and screamed. She then got cornered and waved her hands around before getting shot in the chest with a paintball. Resulting in Heather collapsing and dropping her wig into the gap below the catwalk she was on.
"NOOOOO! My wig!" Heather cried out.
Kushina tilted her head before subconsciously reaching for her own hair. Which seemingly offended Heather who stood up and glared.
"Excuse me, unlike you. My hair is gone and at least it looked nice instead of being an ugly shade of red." Heather said rudely.
'I'm going to kick your ass.' Kushina thought.
She then barraged Heather with a gatling gun of paintballs. Which made Heather scream and run away in terror. Leaving Leshawna laughing as she left the film set with Harold in tow.
Back with Trent's group
Just Trent and the others grabbed their eggs. They immediately left the boiler room only to be chased by Shiro, Kurama and Bradley who opened fire on them.
"RUN!" Duncan yelled as they narrowly dodged the incoming paintballs.
The trio ran as fast as their legs could take them. Only to end up slowing down as Owen dragged his feet across the room while clutching his stomach.
"I think I need the washroom." Owen muttered.
"Owen!" The trio shouted.
"Huh? Guys?" Owen asked as he faced them.
Gwen grabbed Trent's arm and dragged him to one side while Duncan crashed into Owen. Which resulted in the egg exploding upon impact.
"Owen!" Duncan yelled angrily.
"What? I was just… ahhh!" Owen screamed as the animals fired paint at him and Duncan.
As Owen was turned into a human pincushion. The goth and musician continued to run with great urgency. Where they then found themselves running into Izzy.
"Woah, what's up with you guys?" She asked.
"Izzy, we need to get out and fast." Trent said.
"Really? You two are eager beavers. Oh hey, you even got the eggs. Can I have one?" Izzy asked.
"What? No, you can't—"
Trent was cut off as Kushina arrived and blocked the exit. He and Gwen backed away while Izzy pulled out her gloves again.
"Okay, maybe this will be my one act of good karma or whatever. You guys go. Me and Red are settling this." Izzy said.
"Seriously? That's… really nice of you." Gwen said, sounding surprised.
Gwen's confessional
"Look, it's not that I think Izzy is selfish. It's just that I didn't see a crazy girl like her to be so noble." Gwen said before realizing that she contradicted herself. "Never mind, she's just crazy."
Back on set
Izzy dived in Kushina's way and threw some loose punches to get her attention. Kushina threw a few sloppy strikes and kicks that Izzy barely dodged and blocked with her gloves.
This gave Trent and Gwen a chance to reach the exit when they heard a loud scrape and crack. They briefly looked back and saw Izzy stumble backwards.
"Izzy?" Gwen asked.
Izzy turned around and clutched her throat with wide eyes. She then started to act like her airway was blocked and began to stumble around before hitting the floor. Where her feet kicked the air as she seemingly suffocated to death.
Even Kushina looked surprised as Izzy seemingly bled to death. Kushina didn't bother chasing the couple as she checked Izzy, wondering if she did kill her.
'I didn't know she was that delicate! Milim is going to hate me forever!' Kushina thought.
Kushina was more afraid of her oldest granddaughter, whom she just met, suddenly hating her.
But then Izzy sat up and laughed.
"Gotcha! I ain't dead! But the floor sure hurt!" Izzy said as she rubbed the back of her head.
Kushina glared as she put her hands on her waist. Leaving Izzy to leave laughing at how she tricked Kushina. With the woman realizing that Izzy somehow bypassed her sensory and simulated the feeling of pain and terror that came with being murdered.
'That girl is beyond insane.' She thought before leaving.
Outside
Trent and Gwen started to run just as a massive explosion filled with paint went off behind them. Which caused Gwen's necklace to fly off of her neck and land near a grate.
"My necklace!" She cried out.
Trent dived into the ground after it and kept it from falling. He then gave it to Gwen who smiled at the sweet gesture.
"Come on, we're almost there." He told her.
Upon arrival, Naruto and the "military" arrived to take the eggs. With Chris arriving to congratulate the both of them.
"Congratulations you two, you're our winners. I sure hope you enjoyed working together." Chris said, waiting to hit them with some despair.
"You bet we did." Trent said before sharing a loving look with Gwen.
"Then I hope you're okay apart because now. You're both leading two different teams!" Chris announced.
"What!?" They asked.
"That's right, you two will pick your teams and be competing against each other." Chris said, happy with their concern.
"That's not fair!" Gwen shouted.
"It's a reality show, I make the rules." Chris said.
"Are you serious?" Trent asked.
"Yeah, but want to hear more exciting news? Today, two contestants are leaving!" Chris said, causing the whole cast to gasp.
"WHAT!?" Everyone asked.
"Two people are leaving." Naruto repeated, sounding annoyed.
"But—"
Suddenly, Kushina arrived and made a scary reptilian sound that made everyone scream. Along with quieting down anyone who still had some objection against the outrageous announcement.
"I thought the challenge was over!" Owen yelled.
"It is." Naruto said before looking at Kushina. "You can stop playing now."
Kushina groaned before removing her mask, revealing her true face. Other than the fact that she revealed that she's pretty. A few people instantly had a flashback to Naruto's castle for the horror movie challenge again. Namely Geoff who squinted at her and even Gwen felt that same meaning again.
"Wait, Irene?" Gwen asked.
"Wrong Uzumaki!" Kushina answered happily.
That statement caught Gwen off guard, but that's when Geoff started having some memories return. He may not be smart and he may be focused on kissing Bridget until his lips were swollen but he didn't have amnesia. He was with Leshawna when he found two of the jewels they needed for the challenge.
"Hey, you were in one of the paintings too." Leshawna said. "I can't remember your name, but aren't you someone's mama?"
"That I am, I'm his mama!" Kushina said as she pointed at Naruto.
"WHAT!?" the teens asked before looking at Chris.
"I don't know the details, but isn't a family reunion nice? Even one that transcended death?" Chris asked.
"Oh yeah, I remember Milim saying her grandma was dead. Wait, how does that work?" Izzy asked, suddenly feeling curious.
"You can ask Hades if you see him again." Naruto answered.
Before anyone else said anything, Chris used an airhorn to gather everyone's attention.
"Hurry up! Leave the family alone and get ready to boot someone out!" he shouted, forcing everyone to leave.
After the teens left, Kushina hugged her son from behind, "This is fun, I'm gonna like it here!"
Ana sweat dropped at the sight of her biological grandmother acting like her father's opposite. Just as she was about to leave them alone, Ana felt someone grab her hand. Then found herself being crushed in a hug by Kushina.
"And I'm going to take the time to get to know my grandchildren too!" she added.
"Grandmother… how are you so strong?" Ana asked as she felt the life being sucked out of her.
That evening
The Gilded Chris awards were being presented. This time, the marshmallows would be substituted with gold trophies shaped like Chris which were actually just chocolate covered in tinfoil. The rules were the same regarding being kicked out, anyone who's voted off leaves forever unless some random rule pops. Otherwise, the contestants will have to vote on tablets rather than by paper.
"At least now, Harold or someone else can't tamper with the votes." Naruto said as he stood in front of a printer.
With him were his maids, the Six Pleiades, who were still working guard duty to prevent any more tampering. All of them were in their usual uniforms and watched as the results came in and were ready to be printed.
"I hope it's Heather that's leaving." Lupusregina said.
"Given their thought process, I doubt she will be eliminated this early." Narberal said as the sheet printed out
"I suppose that's true, they hate her so badly but find an excuse to get rid of someone else. Even when Heather does not have invincibility." Solution said as she folded the sheet and put it into an envelope.
Solution was about to give it to Naruto when Medusa arrived and took it. The blond maid looked in confusion as she saw Medusa sporting a beautiful purple dress and heels designed for a starlet. The whole outfit made it look like she was meant to be walking down the red carpet for the premiere of a film. There's also the added fact that Medusa took her more human-like appearance where she wasn't a hundred foot tall monstrous snake woman.
"Lady Medusa?" Solution asked, clearly confused by the appearance.
Medusa, who suddenly hugged Naruto's arm, just smiled, "I believe I will be presenting eliminations, rather than my husband."
Naruto sighed, "Medusa…"
"Darling, let me have this. We can cuddle in bed afterwards." Medusa said, acting more playful around him.
"Fine." Naruto said, knowing his wife would not budge.
Medusa gave him a kiss on the cheek then grabbed the plate of Gilded Chris awards before strolling towards the podium where Chris is at. Leaving Naruto to just wait in the back while the maids started packing up.
By the time Medusa reached Chris, the contestants were immediately unnerved and started hiding.
"She's back! She's back with a vengeance!" Harold shouted.
"Wait, why is she super small?" Beth asked.
Chris chuckled, "Nice seeing you, Queen Medusa. I see you're taking the job I meant to give to Chef."
Medusa nodded and gave him the envelope. Where Chris instantly knew how to play this.
"Owen, Justin, Trent, Gwen, Lindsay, Beth, Heather, Duncan, DJ, Harold and Izzy. You're all safe." Chris said as Medusa threw each chocolate at the named contestants.
Everyone looked down at Leshawna who was sitting next to Geoff and Bridget. Both of them knew that their love wouldn't last so long on the show. While Leshawna herself was more concerned at the prospect of being kicked off first.
Medusa sighed, "Love doesn't conquer all, I'm afraid."
Geoff and Bridget were almost form their own individual goodbye speeches for each other. When Medusa threw a Gilded Chris at Leshawna.
"Leshawna, you're also safe. Lovebirds, make your way to the Lame-O-Sine. You're out." Chris said, shocking the pair.
"What? But we thought you guys liked us!" Bridget said.
"We do, but all the kissing. It's really too much." Beth said.
"Yeah, it gives me a headache." Duncan said.
"Sorry guys." Owen said as he winced.
Bridget and Geoff walked away together and accepted their defeat. Only to kiss again before falling into the limousine that would take them away from the studio lot. Which meant that nothing changed despite them being eliminated.
Medusa's Confessional
"As a woman whose marriage has been going on before the construction of the Roman Empire even began. I learned the importance of personal space, compromise, hardship and most importantly, keeping your affections away from the public eye." Medusa explained as she adjusted her dress.
Then suddenly, Kanna popped her head from under the dressing room table.
"Kanna, what are you doing here?" Medusa asked.
"Hiding from grandma." Kanna said.
Medusa laughed, "Oh, this will be a very long season."
Back on set
Chris then looked at the cameras as they zoomed in on him.
"Say goodbye to the lovebirds and hello to a whole new season. You'll see some crazier challenges, some special guests and more next week. So stay tuned for Total! Drama! Action!" he announced.
Once the filming ended, Chris began walking away as everyone got ready to clean up and prepare for tomorrow's shoot.
"Later guys, have fun with your family or whatever you guys will do." Chris said as he returned to his trailer.
Naruto nodded and caught up with Medusa who wrapped his arms neck.
"Naruto, your mother agreed to watch Maggie tonight." she whispered.
"And that means?" Naruto asked.
Medusa pulled his face in for a kiss. Resulting in Naruto's tail appearing and hitting the ground.
All the while Kushina giggled from her hiding spot with Lisa by her side who was holding a sleeping Maggie.
"Is that why you volunteered to babysit?" Lisa asked with a knowing look.
"I know those two haven't been able to squeeze a lot of time for each other lately. Besides, we got lots of time together." Kushina said to her co-mother.
Lisa just sighed before smiling at the boy she adopted. He may have changed but he was still that same child she raised. One with a family too.

Notes: Yeah, Total Drama is back with more hijinks with both returning and new characters. I hope everyone is excited for a new season or set of chapters. Originally, I thought about letting this be a sequel but it felt like it would be less work to just put it in with the first season. Especially with how much more shorter TDA is compared to the first season. So at least some of you more patient readers won't get confused and can conveniently follow this one story rather than look for another.
So other details, more of Naruto's kids will appear and both Kushina and Lisa have returned. More details regarding the dark methods used to bring them back will be brought up as the story progresses.
