Chapter 78 Innocent Shokan

Hiro was now at Outworld as he was on a task there. He needed to make sure Li Mei's home is safe.
"Better go." He kept walking.
But then Sheeva came out from behind a tree surprising him.
"Hello Hiro." She smiles.
"Sheeva?" He got surprised.
"I was hoping to see you." She said.
He then noticed a boy come out behind her being Duroc, with his hair being free and covering his left eye, wearing purple shokan armor.
"Duroc?" Hiro was surprised.
The boy shokan goes up to him. "Father."
"I came to bring him to you, since I believe it's time for our son to train with you." Sheeva said.
He got surprised she wants him to be trained at this age.
"Well are we going to do it?" Duroc asked Hiro.
"Well..." Hiro thinks. "Let me see your skills first."
He nodded at him.
They went to a open area as Duroc throws many punches at Hiro who blocks with one arm showing off his more superior skills. He also dodges moving around Duroc avoiding each of his hits.
He then grabs one of his arms and throws him to the side, Duroc then grabs on to the floor to stop himself.
He was stunned that his father isn't even taking him seriously even tough he's mostly human in this form.
Duroc punches at Hiro many times as he dodges again. Sheeva watches as he's taking it easy with her son.
"Hiro is different from a regular shokan, but it's what makes him interesting." She smiles.
Duroc got tired and looks up at his father.
"You must not charge ahead my son." Hiro holds his arm.
Duroc looks at his father in the eyes.
"The way of combat is to think before attacking. To adapt to a fight and improve yourself. It's not always about brute force." Hiro told him.
"Of course father." He nodded.
Hiro nodded too that he understood. "Good. It's something i've learned for many years."
Duroc understood since his father knows it all.
Hiding behind a tree was a little girl with red hair, and it was Krimson who's grown up wearing red clothing watching Hiro.
"Daddy." She said.
She always wanted to see her father but he's always on Edenia or Earthrealm. Making her wanting to see him even more.
Her mother said he would come to Outworld soon enough.
But the fact Duroc got to meet him first made her jealous since Hiro only saw her as baby.
Hiro feels like someone is watching and looks around.
"What's wrong?" Sheeva asked.
"It feels like someone is watching." He said.
"Probably Skarlet, she's always attached to you." Sheeva said.
He sighs since that girl became what back home in Japan they call a yandere after drinking his blood.
"I wish she could just be more normal."
"As do I, a warrior with that mindset could be too dangerous for our allies if she doesn't fight by they're side." Sheeva frowns.
"But now let's go." Hiro said.
Duroc nodded and he saw his sister watching and he sweatdrops.
'Really? Why do you need to stalk us sister?'
He knew Krimson wanted to see her father too but the fact she's acting like this instead of meeting him close is just strange to him.
She took after her mother too much.
"Father maybe you should see our other siblings." Duroc said.
"Any reason?" Hiro asked.
It's not like a shokan to care for the other races and he didn't expect the others with the way are.
"Just thought they could train with you too." He said.
Hiro rubs his head since it seems innocent enough.
Sheeva stares as she never expected Duroc to care so much about his siblings like that.
"I'll think about it. I have business to attend to anyway." He said.
Duroc nodded.
Krimson got excited. "Thank you Duroc. Thank you, thank you."
She then saw a Tarkatan move forward and he saw Hiro.
He growls summoning his arm blades before a arrow is shot through his skull killing him.
"Nobody hurts daddy." She frowns.
She makes the body vanished before they could find it using a stream of blood.
She kept following them as Hiro takes Sheeva and Duroc to another part.
He can tell that Duroc seems more calm compared to others of his race. Most likely a trait he got from him, he's glad that he managed to passed down something to his son.
He smiles at Duroc before his son noticed surprised that his father was smiling.
"Is there something wrong?"
"No, just happy how to you turned out." He rubs his head.
Duroc was still stunned as other shokans never treated him like this outside of his own mother showing care but it felt nice being praised by his father.
He smiles too since he will make him proud.
Sheeva watches her son interact with Hiro, it was different from her race as it was always the strong to survive. But her son who is now a Prince after she took leadership. Many few him as too soft but to her she saw Duroc as wise.
Maybe being with his father will help him grow up to become a great King for they're people. Maybe change can happen.
Krimson pouted since Duroc got more attention and she doesn't like that. But she will have to wait until she gets a turn.
