Lady Stark, Protector of Winterfell and the North,

"The winds were kind and we managed to reach Dragonstone safely. The King in the North, Jon Snow, met for the first time with the true queen of Westeros, Daenerys Targaryen, and her advisors on the day of our landing.

With the generosity of our hostess, we have obtained permission to mine the valuable dragonglass. There is a mountain of this essential resource for our survival and we are already transporting it to our ship.

What they say about the three dragons that your majesty brought back into the world does not do them justice. They are gigantic, imposing and magnificent creatures. By the time this letter reaches your hands, Lady Stark, it is very likely that the queen's enemies will have already felt the fury of her children on the battlefield.

May the New and Old Gods allow this alliance between Fire and Ice to be fulfilled. May the winter winds still be gentle in our beloved Winterfell.

In the name of the King in the North, Jon Snow."

Varys read and reread the meticulous and brief message addressed to the regent of the North in Jon Snow's absence and was not fooled by the glowing praise for his queen. Whoever had written it was fully aware that his correspondence would be checked before being dispatched by swift raven to the most distant and dark Kingdom of all. The Spider did not identify any secret code in the letter and allowed the servants to finally dispatch it to its destination.

With trouble piling up in Highgarden and other parts of Westeros, he did not pay due attention to the new guests and did not even notice the bastard King's advisors. He knew the Onion King's reputation, but he could not find out much about the princess of Themyscira, much less about the ghost advisor.

Snow had a trusted man who probably wrote the letter to Sansa, but who was not present at the introductory meeting with the Mother of Dragons. This man was much more involved with the common people who were part of the Northern delegation, and even demonstrated some intimacy with the Unsullied who were assigned to the dragonglass mining work.

He had been someone important in the past, but he lost everything along the way. He was a deserter from the Night's Watch and returned for the Winter with the foreign woman. In short, there was no shortage of rumors about this man. Varys needed to take advantage of Daenarys' absence to eliminate all these doubts.

But the Master of Whisperers did not even need to bother, since fate was providential in bringing together two antagonistic figures in their own time. Jon and Ser Davos were reporting the latest developments in the mining process to Missandei, when a soldier issued an alert of an approaching vessel. It wasn't a ship, but a small boat that was arriving at Dragonstone unannounced.

Robb and Diana were organizing the deliveries of dragonglass to the northern ship when he recognized the traitor. Theon Greyjoy was the first to step on dry land and had barely finished his first sentence when the color completely disappeared from his face. Jon Snow was there before his eyes, however, he didn't have time to recognize the person responsible for quickly bringing him to the ground, completely disoriented.

The Young Wolf completely lost his reasoning and rushed at his former childhood companion. He didn't say a word, however, he demonstrated his deadly hatred with a series of punches. The Unsullied and Men of the Iron Island tried to break up the confusion in vain. Diana was the only one able to contain Robb's anger by pulling him away, while he screamed at the top of his lungs.

_ HE BETRAYED ME! HE CALLED ME BROTHER AND TURNED HIS BACK ON US. HE INVADED WINTERFEL, HE INVADED MY HOME! YOU KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE, I WILL KILL YOU!

_ Robb, how... What's happening? You should be dead! – Theon replies when he manages to recover at least a little.

_ What you did for Sansa is the only thing stopping me from killing you right here! – Jon curses at the former resident of Winterfell.

_ What Theon Greyjoy did to the North will not be paid for with his blood as long as he is protected by the queen. But what he said... How is that possible? Robb Stark alive! – Spider-Man has trouble believing his eyes and the supposed misinformation he received – Missandei, you are the queen's most valued advisor and you are the one who holds the power here in her absence. The decision is yours.

_ I will not allow your majesty's allies to be attacked in this way, especially by someone infiltrated in our house. Guards, take this man, Robb Stark, to his chambers and make sure he does not leave there until our queen returns. As for you, Greyjoy, you will also need to wait until she returns to plan your sister's rescue. But do not get in the way of our guests. We do not need any more trouble here.

The Unsullied drag the eldest Stark to his chambers in a hasty manner, such was the anger in him. Diana was the first to enter the room that had been occupied by both of them since their arrival on the island and tried to calm the situation.

However, she found Robb distraught and with tears streaming down his face. He was aware of the mistake he had made by revealing his identity, the risk he had put the entire mission to Dragonstone at, and the pain of confronting so many past scars again. He should never have trusted a Greyjoy. That was when his downfall began.

He had lost Winterfell, he was responsible for making Bran and Rickon flee beyond the wall as boys, he was unable to avenge his father's murder or protect his younger sisters.

Now, he was not even able to maintain the slightest composure and help his brother and secure the only possible ally.

The Amazon tried to soothe so much suffering and swore that she would get him out of there, if necessary. However, she remembered that this revelation could have happened to help them in some way, since Tyrion already knew of her presence there. The Queen's Hand.

The door opened hours later as the Young Wolf tried to regain his common sense. Varys dismissed the guards and took a long time to break the silence.

_ We can now dismiss the beheading rumor, can't we? Tell me how it is possible that you are before my eyes, Robb Stark.

_ If you want some far-fetched explanation, I will disappoint you, Spider. The only thing I remember after the Red Wedding is Princess Diana when I opened my eyes.

_ Definitely a great improvement considering the tragedy that was that ceremony, King in the North. How long have you been back?

_ A few months before the Battle of the Bastards. And Jon is the only King in the North! – the Northerner reaffirms.

_ You really didn't come back for the crown, that's why you managed to keep it a secret for so long even surrounded by Littlefinger's little birds. He's the reason you came here, isn't he? Virtually no one knew Robb Stark at the Queen's court, and the few who did would not be interested in another Northerner.

_ You are right. Is there anything you can do to end this imprisonment?

_ It seems that part of what they say is true: you returned from abroad with the princess at your side. Unfortunately, Your Highness, we must await the Queen's decision from now on. Work in the mines has also been suspended for now. But the Mother of Dragons should be back soon... The battle was tragic for both sides. But I think I have some time to understand the story and help you when the time comes, Robb Stark.

_ How did you help my father, Spider?

_ You do not offend me by calling me that, young man. Believe it or not, I tried to help your father. There was a man from the Night's Watch ready to take your father to the Wall right after your public confession. Everything was ready for your father and Sansa to return that very day. But Joffrey was... Unpredictable. Not even Cersey could contain that evil being, but Daenerys is not Joffrey. The princess must have noticed, you must have noticed after living side by side with her people for so long.

_ We agree on how despicable Joffrey was and I would like to congratulate whoever ended that damned man's life! I didn't want the Iron Throne back then and much less now. Jon doesn't want to dominate the Seven Kingdoms, he just wants to make sure we can survive the winter. WE ARE NOT A THREAT TO YOUR QUEEN'S PLANS. And I think we would be much better off with her in Cersey's place!

_ And we can assure you that we are telling the truth about this, I left my land to help men win this war against the threat beyond the mountain - says Diana.

_ Don't worry, Princess Diana, I think I can tell the truth from a lie after so many years living among the powerful and the court of King's Landing. I know that Ned Stark's son takes after his father. It is likely that he will come to your aid even now.

_ My father? What are you talking about?

_ This is not as emblematic a return as yours, young man, but I believe that your father's actions continue to resonate to this day. Your father was too honorable for the throne and I am convinced that you and your half-brother may be too much like him.
