Pokemon who were abandon by their trainers, are being given to Ash ketchum, a 14 year old who is just starting his pokemon journey! Can he get them to trust him and become close friends to another on his quest?

46. Chapter 46

Authors Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon. Hey everyone another chapter done and closer we are getting to Ash's eighth gym badge. I am struggling to figuring out who he should fight at the gym, on the account we know Team Rocket owns the gym. But in the anime, he went and fought Jessie,James and MEowth in place of Giovanni. But I also don't know if I should have Ash fight Giovanni or not- considering I know Ash fought Giovanni during the Unova series.

ITs quite a hard call for me to make, cause STORY/Fanfic canon wise Giovanni does not have Mewtwo anymore as I made the movie canon to the story lol. So, gonna have to think awhile on who Ash should fight...granted there is Carl I could use as well and did show off how dangerous he is during the Boxing Pokemon tournament chapter. And he knows Giovanni as well from a earlier chapters...so yeah those three are ones I am currently trying to figure out who Ash should fight.

I also have been rewatching the old Pokemon anime series as well, as Pokemon TV thankfully has been reuploading the episodes pon their youtube channel and have gotten up to Johto series right now. So I been binge watching the episodes in order to get back into groove of things and get my writing block to be removed. Anyway, the next chapter will be Ash and Lopunny lemon scene, to then everyone returning to Pallet town and reuniting with family and rivals. To then I was also thinking of doig the Misty mermaid chapter with Robert, Leaf and Misty- while then doing the eighth Gym badge with Ash AND then finally...have everyone head to the Pokemon league.

So till then hope you all have fun and enjoy this chapter, I had fun writing this chapter and put some comedy moments in this chapter to balance out the other scenes. So hopefully the comedy is good and these moments and descriptions are...well you'll see what I mean.

Anyway thats about it, once I get the next chapter done I will take a small break from this story and then continue writing Pokemon world adventures. Also I know the poll results were in and I completely forgotten about the poll too. But looks like people wouldn't mind seeing Robert and Leaf's pov during this adventure and seeing what they ran into. As I can definitely do that if yall interested in it and do episodes I did not cover here in the story.

Though there will be things I will have to retcon however but only if you all like the idea or not lol. Anyway enjoy and have fun reading.

Chapter 46: Fun, Tears, Along the countryside.

It is midafternoon in the town called Atleri, where citizens live in the countryside of Cinnabar island and near the shipping docks. This town specializes in trade routes, marketing and shipping various items and parcels in all reaches of Kanto. One particular manufacturing workplace belongs to a wealthy individual who lives in a luxurious mansion out far and a couple blocks from the town itself. There is a man who lives by himself with the exception of his two Pokemon, Vaporeon and Jolteon. Two eeveelutions he treasures the most and treats them as if they were family to him and children to his cause.

They live together inside the mansion ever since he adopted them as little eevee tykes. From there on the trio would live happy lives and the Pokemon would always bring him joy and happiness. He had gone out of his way to design and alter his house to allow the rambunctious eevee siblings to run, play and explore the mansion on their own free will and entering rooms through doglike doors in each doorway. Later on in life the two would accidentally come across a water stone and thunder stone when exploring the town streets, accidentally bumping into some workers who were carrying some boxes filled with evolution stones. Causing him to jolt backwards and bucking the box he was carrying into the air- making the two evolution stones to fly off and landing onto the two Pokemon heads, causing them to evolve into Vaporeon and Jolteon.

Their master when he saw them rushing back to his place or finding him outside of the mansion. Was not worried or concerned about them suddenly evolving, in fact he welcomed it and found it more enjoyable- as well as also being able to tell the two apart from that moment on. Considering their tuft of fur and personality were identical to one another you could have mistaken them being twins. To celebrate their evolution the owner went and told them that they will spend the entire day out in town and exploring the places, then buying new toys, beds and even furniture for the two newly evolved Pokemon. So that living in the mansion will be a lot easier for them. It was truly a remarkable day and one the trio will always be fond of and cherish however….

It is the present now and the mansion insides were beginning to become dusty and old, somewhat moldy slightly as well. Minus a few roms that were used and being kept clean and such. Furniture was slowly decaying and falling apart, curtains slightly torn and ripped gently blowing through the slightly broken glass of the mansion windows. Carpets completely covered in nothing but dust minus a few paw prints here and there indicating Jolteon and Vaporeon running and playing about in the house. Plants in vases dying and wilting away, as if they haven't had water in months or even years. To even some shattered glasses and candle sticks here and there laying about in the halls of the mansion. The outside of the mansion was also beginning to be coerced by mother nature, as vines and roots began growing and claiming the outside walls of its own. Readying to go through and break into the weak foundation of the home. There were hints and signs of life inside the mansion as well. There used to be caretakers for the home, but ever since the money had begun to stop being sent to them and signs of the man once living there not responding to anything or even the letters being sent to him were being returned? Nobody knew what had happened and figured it would not bother him, especially considering over the past few months he had gotten sickly and was technically bed ridden as well. The only time they knew they see life from the house, is when Vaporeon or Jolteon comes bursting out of the house and playfully and excitingly start barking and yelping at the people who come by the house, letting them know how happy and excited they were to seeing them and being in good health too.

But people were still concerned and worried about the man living in the mansion. Considering how many times they tried to enter and get into the house, only to be chased by the two Pokemon, even though the people misunderstanding them wanting to play with them and not actually chasing them out of the house or yard. Even officer Jenny had tried heading to the house and entering without alerting the two Pokemon. The farthest she got though was only able to peek through one of the windows to see the condition of the shoe, before nearly falling backwards and getting scared by the two Pokemon suddenly jumping up at the window with happy faces and started pawing at the glass window.

To then seeing the Jolteon reach up and biting down onto the window lock and twisting it, allowing Vaproen to then pressed her face against the window and tried lifting the window open, in which Jolteon will then help and slide her paws at the top of the window edge and slide it open for her. Showing incredible intelligence and ingenuity of working the windows and began hopping out and started chasing officer Jenny out of the yard and over the fence! Even though the officer keen senses and knowledge after a couple of attempts, finally figured out the two Pokemon? Weren't trying to run her out or even trying to harm her, they were just being playful little tykes and just wanted someone to play with.

But she also knows that they're still Pokemon, and that if they get too excited she will get hurt. What worries her the most however is that the man living there usually comes out of his house and lets the people know everything is alright. To even call out those who got chased by the two Pokemon, just wanting to play with them. However…he has not once or even seemed to react or possibly even have the strength to get out of bed and tell anyone about it. This had the officer in uniform turning her head over her shoulders and softening her gaze towards the mansion. She knows the two Pokemon are well fed and taken care of, on the account. She will see them on schedule everyday, head out of the mansion and do what appears to be either window shopping or grocery shopping and bring it all back to the mansion and such. But…without their owner there to help and probably take the food away…or even eat it. How bad and spoiled are the food?

This had her really concerned and being the only officer in the area? She has no way or having back up to help distract the Pokemon from accidentally harming her or those around them. She also knows that the bills of the mansion haven't been paid for weeks, and companies and such were sending complaints to her about them not receiving any money whatsoever or even being chased out by the Pokemon when reaching the front door. Gathering that information and connecting the dots, she has a feeling something bad may have happened to the owner and she needs to get in there and figure out WHAT happened. But…how can she do that without being chased around or possibly be accidentally attacked by the two Pokemon.

Jenny sighs as she looks at the moss covered mansion that had branches and vines growing all around the walls and exterior of the building. Taking note of some of the broken glass windows and how some of them were even beginning to hang off and slam against the wall from the gentle breeze of the ocean winds. The woman lightly grabbed her cap and lifted it off her head rubbing her teal color hair as she shifted her red eyes down towards the two Pokemon who were now just sitting down. Vaporeon wagged her tail and seemingly stared excitedly towards her, while Jolteon continued to bark and yip at her with bright smiles and excitement in her eyes.

They were indeed well fed and kept cared for by the people in town, but it still worries her. Even though she tried speaking to the Pokemon and asking them where their trainer or owner was. The two of them will just stop yipping about at her and then proceed to run over to one of the windows in the distance and begin bouncing up and down as if to say their owner is currently sleeping or in his room. Before darting back inside the mansion to probably alert him of her presence, only to come back and see the two rushing back at the fence and gates yelping out and smiling brightly to her about how he is still sleeping.

How does she know they're telling her he was asleep? By goofily expressing it by body language, with Vaporeon curling into a ball and laying down and closing her eyes. Followed by Jolteon then climbing on top of Vaporeon and laying across her body as if being a makeshift blanket and she too closed her eyes as they both pretended to snore and were asleep, before bouncing up onto their feet and seemingly giggling at the woman. This had Jenny concerned even more as the two Pokemon relayed that message over and over whenever she visited. Beginning to wonder if something worse happened to the owner? She lets out another sigh as she sees the two Pokemon turning around and running back into the mansion, making sure to close the door when doing so. Jenny shakes her head at how smart the young Pokemon are, but then looks down to the ground and places her hat back on and crosses her arms. "But now…how do I get in? There aren't that many trainers here, let alone ones who are brave enough to go and distract the Pokemon for me to enter inside the house and investigate."

The woman decided to try once more to ask around for help and see if someone will be brave enough and willing enough to distract and play with the two Pokemon. Even though it will be a long shot, she has no other choice, if she's lucky? She could possibly run into some traveling trainers who will be kind enough to help her with this endeavor? She glanced at the mansion one last time and stared at the tall building facing the main floors of the house and turned her gaze about three windows to the west side and could see electric sparks appearing in the window. Followed by what looked to be a TV being turned on inside, indicating that Jolteon used her electric moves to power the tv on and having her, Vaporeon and probably their owner to watch the TV. She felt her heart sinking knowing full well that the electricity in the house was turned off, including possibly the water valves too. The woman also knows that from what the hospital had told her that the owner can't exactly leave his bed, even though they tell him not to so many times in the past. He always seems to not mind getting out of bed and onto the wheelchair, to having it move and push himself towards the front door to let everyone know Jolteon and Vaporeon mean no harm. Jenny shook her head hoping and praying to arceus that whatever terrible fate the man went through, it wouldn't be a dire one- especially considering his Pokemon seem happy and carefree about their situation.

The officer exhaled one last time before turning around and began heading on back into town. Having a mission to do now and in hopes that she could find someone, somebody to help her solve this case and be able to check in on the owner of the house. While also being sure that the Pokemon are well taken care of and aren't in any danger of malnourishment or possibly being sick with the way the house is looking. ""I just hope I will be able to find someone to help me. I don't know how long those Pokemon can or could stay in that house." Thus her search for someone to help her begins, as we see Jolteon and Vaporeon back in their owners room ha[ily finding some blankets for themselves and tossing them over their bodies and proceed to watch the TV. Believing their owner is awake and or just continuing to sleep the day away because of him being really tired and exhausted from working so much.

Unaware that the man they cherish and love hasn't responded in months or weeks, especially when their noses continue to smell something awful but disregard it for some food being spoiled and such that they go ahead and toss it away. Blissfully unaware of their living condition for how young they are and inexperience they are with living conditions.

At the central area of the town where multiple different size of buildings and colorful ones can be seen stretching across all directions- with multiple looking flyers, banners and flags were set up and promoting different type of items to be sold, traded and even advertisement of the incoming Pokemon league that's about to begin within 2 weeks now. Restaurants and bistros can be seen on each eight diagonal direction of the city center, offering all sorts of food and produce to everyone. Including coffee, tea and even some brisket and small snack foods to enjoy and eat at reasonable prices. It was also a lively place too with all different types of people and Pokemon roaming about and exchanging items, trading things or buying and purchasing things. Showing the city just how fruitful it is in the trading market and business of cinnabar island.

We see our heroes resting and sitting at one of the outside tables of the bistros, seemingly taking a small little break from their travels as they have been rushing and hurrying their way towards the pier5 in hopes of finding a boat or cruise line that will take them back. Misty could be seen in the distance talking on a payphone having quite a smug and happy expression on her face no doubt talking to her sisters and having them be in disbelief of her winning a Princess doll set of her own. Cherishing the reactions and tones the girls were giving her.

While for ash, Robert and Leaf; they were just sitting at one of the tables relaxing and lightly groaning feeling their feet were on fire as the muscles in them were aching and protesting that they shouldn't rush or run or hurry their way to the pier just yet. They needed rest, even Eevee and Pikachu were exhausted and are currently resting on top of the table they were sitting on. Pressed against one another as their breathing was slow and steady.

Ash was the first to speak as he had his cheek resting on the tabletop and groaning out, "I don't think I can move anymore. If I try to walk any further my legs are gonna give out." He whined lightly, having his eyes closed shut smelling the different food and coffee aroma hitting his nostrils. "Ugh and the food here smells really good too." He added.

Robert had his upper body hanging over the edge of the seat and groaned while responding, "I know…but right now we don't exactly have a lot of money to work with. Some of the prices in the town from before really dented us greatly. Some sales for Princess day…" Muttered the blue hair boy, while leering lightly to no-man's land as Leaf. Who was in a third seat and had her arms over slash across her face and chin muttered under her breath.

"Told you that holiday sucks, even if the prices were super cut for girls. It still adds up and the prices become expensive." She then lifted her head and rested her chin onto her right arm and sighed. "But this place ain't any better…the prices are really too high." Then scoff. "Then again it is one of the famous trading ports and cities in Kanto. So make sense guess…"

This had Ash groaning and nodding his head against the table top, having his Pokemon league hat fall over and onto the table. "Yeah, thirty dollars for just a simple cheeseburger, or twenty-five dollars for french fries- or my personal favorite." he then groaned. "Forty dollars for a combo meal of cheese fries, double stack burgers and a drink." He said feeling his stomach growling out in protest telling him to shut up.

This had eevee and Pikachu groaning in protest, as Pikachu just raised his tail and gently patted and slapped his tail across Ash's head and hair, causing it to become static and puffy. "Pikapi…pikachu…" he muttered out saying to ash please stop talking about food. While then opening his eyes towards Robert and eevee, "Kakachu, pika?" Pikachu asked if the blue hair trainer was doing alright. Having Robert raise a hand and waved it in a so-so fashion.

"I am doing alright Pikachu don't worry, luckily we ate a big lunch before leaving the town earlier. So I am okay right now in terms of sugar and all." He told Pikachu and then moved his head and upper back away from the chair and started stretching out his limbs. Feeling them cracking and popping, "I am just surprised Ash is still hungry. Despite the large meal we had from the town." He joked and had Leaf and ash snickering lightly.

"Eh what can I say, I burn off a lot of calories and have quite the metabolism whenever I run and such." Ahs said and lifted upright from the table and grabbed his hat. "Especially when training with the girls and such. Especially them, considering I need all the energy I can to keep up with them and make sure that I won't be falling behind them." Or Pikachu here." Ash smiled at his buddy, who smiled back and twitched his ears as well letting out a chuu when Ash went and started petting his head.

This has Leaf nodding and then resting her palm against her cheek and leaning into it. Feeling her brown hair sliding over her shoulder as she smiles. "We know the feeling too. We have also been doing that with our Pokemon as well." She then blink her eyes open and says. "So, what do you two think the Pokemon league will be like? I have no doubt a lot of insane and strong trainers are gonna be there. Probably even making it difficult for beginners and fresh starting trainers to run for their money."

This had Robert agreeing, "yeah, I honestly don't think realistically mind you." He said, raising a finger. "We will get very far into the Pokemon league. Considering who knows what type of trainers we will be dealing with and such." He sighed. "Cause no matter how good one is and especially if they just started their adventure this soon? I don't think we will get very far in the league." He then laugh.d "On a realistic viewpoint at least."

Ash nodded, "agreed- I've been thinking about it a lot over the past few months now and been discussing it with the girls." Ash sighed and continued petting Pikachu on the head. "Even ask them on the boat that was leading to Cinnabar island, what kind of goals and dreams are they looking for? Or what kind of things they want to achieve during this journey of ours and what to expect." He then looked up towards the sky and smiled. "Telling them how the Pokemon league is definitely going to be putting us to the test and that…even though I want to win so badly and become a champion. I also told them and let them know it might not be possible."

He then smirks and stares towards Leaf and Robert, "But if I can be cocky for one time. I say we got this in the bag!" He chuckled. "I mean the type of shit we've been through, the type of dangers and excitement we've been through that will definitely put hell like a resort if anything." He then smugly raised his head. "I believe we all will make it far as possible and probably be one of the top eight or even top four trainers in the Pokemon league!"

This had Pikachu smiling and nodding his head confidently as well, even eevee had to bounce up and down excitedly at the idea of being able to make it deep within the Pokemon league. As he then purred lightly when Robert rested a hand on his head and stroked his fur. "Yeah there is nothing wrong with us being cocky and smug. It's a given we're allowed to be so, considering what we all been through lately?" He chuckled. "I agree, I bet all three of us will definitely reach the semi finals or possibly finals of the Pokemon league. And show everyone what we got and what our Pokemon can do!"

Leaf smugly says, "well if we're gonna be cocky and smug about this." She then playfully rested a hand onto her chest and raised her head. "I definitely will be reaching the champion status. Considering I know how to handle each and everyone one of your Pokemon from our time traveling together and whatnot. I can easily defeat you all through sheer willpower and type advantage." She then laughed. "Or at least, surprise you all with my way of thinking and battling with my Pokemon."

Ash let out a fake scoff and grin wickedly, "Yeah sure, says the one who kind of lost her temper and cool against Blaine a few days back. While then overly confident and cheering herself with Pliwrath of defeating him." Ash then laughed when Leaf just opened her eyes halfway and leer towards him but still holding on the smile. "Then again he was an asshole when we first fought him so it's understandable." Laughed the raven-haired boy, getting Leaf and Robert to laugh and then hummed and turned their attention towards Misty who was walking on over and seemingly holding a tray of snacks and drinks. "Oh Misty, you didn't have to buy this for us."

"Actually I didn't buy this," Misty said and placed the tray down, having all four of them blink their eyes and see her bending down and then back up. Turning sideways, "It was actually Officer Jenny who bought it for us." she said and then had all four of them lean and slide slightly in their chairs to see what she meant. Then seeing said officer, after paying something to one of the restaurant owners and began walking over to them with a bright smile. "It's actually something she told me and requested some help and such. So, I figured that well," she then smiled at the gang. "I think I will let her explain…" she said suddenly her tone went soft. Worrying ash and the gang as they look at one another with Leaf shrugging her shoulders and figure to wait for Jenny to arrive and explain everything or why Misty is offering their assistance to her.

After Jenny had approached their table and sat down with everyone she went ahead and explained the situation or the request she wanted them to help her with. Going over details about a mansion in the distance north from town that has the homeowner. Not responding, paying or answering any calls and such- worried that something may have happened to them. But also going into detail about how this man was also the founder of this shipping trading docks slash port of the town. Where business have been striving and excelling exceptionally well with trade routes in all directions and corners of the world. The woman made sure to be precise and slow with her details, as the group listened intently and munching on the snacks and food she bought for them. Being mindful and respectful of not interrupting her and such, when she got done with the history lesson she took a deep breath and bit her lower lip.

"Alright so…now you all know the brief history of the place and how worried I am about this person. There is one other thing that actually has me super concerned." She then lifted her head and saw everyone listening intently. "He has two Pokemon living with him that he got and received as a thank you from the city itself. They are eeveelution Pokemon, Jolteon and Vaporeon." She explained and had the group humming and looking at one another then back to her. "The reason I am worried about these two is that…something must've happened to their owner and the two Pokemon. Are either aware of it, or blissfully unaware of him not being active and such."

This had Leaf worried and asked, "How do you know Officer Jenny? Were you able to check on him or…possibly figure out that he couldn't?" She then let out a low oh as Jenny shook her head and sighs, surprising everyone when she went and told them.

"Well no- the two Pokemon are very and still somewhat young for their age. As they only lived with him for about four months after establishing and building the city here a couple years back. That everyone in town after a while and setting up their business and homes, had gone and thanked him by offering him the two eevee's and allowed him to adopt them and live with him." She then sighed and closed her eyes. "They're the best Pokemon you will ever meet, rambunctious and full of energy and always hyper and getting into things." She chuckled the last part and then exhaled. "But…"

She took a moment to gather her thoughts seeing the teens in front of her looking worried and wondering if something is wrong with the two Pokemon? "I am worried that they aren't being cared for or even well fed…granted," she shrugs slightly and shifts her gaze away from them. "He designed his house that allowed the two Pokemon to leave the premises sometimes and go out exploring and travel around the town on their own. But When I recently went there, the padlock to the outside fence had rusted up and was preventing the two eeveelutions from leaving the premises."

Misty figures to chime in seeing how upset Jenny is getting and figures to give the woman a small breather, "See guys these two Pokemon have been apparently seen without their owner lately. Causing confusion and worry within the townsfolk. However, despite them being able to leave the house and such- the two energetic Pokemon also take their guard duties very well and will chase everyone out of the mansion and such. Barking and yipping at them," she said and then giggled. "Even though it's mostly them wanting to play and such that when they chase people out from the yard. The people figured it was them doing their jobs and protecting their homes."

Robert nodded in understanding, "I can attest to that. My mom's Jolteon is like that at times whenever someone would come over and go near the yard and such. Jolteon will go barking and bursting through the Pokemon door we set up on the door and start running after the people in the yard or even chasing the mailman." He laughed. "Granted and thankfully everyone in Pallet town knows she means no harm and openly allows her to tackle them or lick them on the faces in affection or wanting to be played with."

Ash grinned, "I definitely know that! I purposely always come over and jump over the fence to go and play with Jolteon when I was younger." He then pet Pikachu on the head. "No doubt she will get along well with you, Pikachu." He then turns to Jenny. "But if the outside gate or the Pokemon door has rusted up and sealed tight? Has anyone tried to jam it back open or fix it?"

Jenny nodded as she continued for Misty. "Like Misty said, people are worried and concerned that the two were doing their job of guarding their home and yard. That they are afraid the two Pokemon will start attacking them or harming them." She then leans back and crosses her arms. "But I doubt it, considering I know the two Pokemon myself and am somewhat close to them. They're the darndest nice creatures you'll ever meet. They wouldn't even harm a Riombee."

This had everyone nodding as Leaf then asks, "Alright then…if that is true and from how concerned you are for these Pokemon." She then took a shaky breath not going to like what she's gonna ask. "How bad is the living condition. Obviously you managed to get into the yard at some point. Without alerting the two Pokemon and were able to see what the mansion's condition looked like?"

In which Jenny was about to open her mouth and speak but paused mid opening her vermouth and then closed her eyes. "Actually, it's best I show you. Seeing is believing and considering the condition the outside structure of the mansion looks like. Will give you a possibility of what the inside might look like." She then gets up and grabs her hat and places it on her head. "Come on, follow me, the mansion is only ten minutes away from here." She said and saw the teenagers nodding and quickly getting up from their chairs, grabbing their bags and then robert and Ash having Eevee and Pikachu climb up onto their shoulders and began following the woman towards the direction of the mansion, which was north from the central plaza of town and the city itself

As they did so and leaving the noisy and bustling trade market streets of town. They were greeted to a large and vast open field and plains outside of town. Welcoming all to its wonder and beauty to even showing many types of Pokemon that were roaming about and playing out in the fields, to some flying type Pokemon soaring through the skies and flying off into the vast ocean out ahead of the mountain edges. Where ocean view Pokemon could be seen down below resting and lying lazily onto boulders and rocks getting and basking in the sunlight before the waves crash up onto them and pull them back into the ocean.

Trees could be seen dotted across the plains allowing field and tree Pokemon to nestle and make nests there, or even burrowing into the grounds to make their own homes. As they continued walking through the dirt road that leads to the mansion. The group will widen their eyes and gasps in disbelief of the sight before them and the condition the building seems to be in. "Is this where they live?!" Ash exclaimed, having Pikachu letting out a worried cha at the sight of the building in front of them and the gates. "It's…covered in so much grass and moss, you can barely tell it's a house anymore." He added.

Leaf nodded and rested a hand onto her right breast, ""Not to mention…the windows, all of them look cracked or ready to fall off their hinges and crash into the ground below." She muttered as their eyes scan over the decaying and slightly rotting building before them. With signs of nobody or anyone who had once gone outside and taken care of it. Cleaning it or even pulling out the roots and weeds that were coming out of the pavement of the structure.

Misty couldn't help but raise her hands onto her mouth and gasp in horror, "Not to mention the yard doesn't look like it's been taken care of either. The garden and such look like they've been wilted and withering away for weeks." The orange-haired girl then looks to Officer Jenny, seeing the woman's concerned expression on her face. "Are…are we sure the man still lives here?"

"He does," Jenny then turns to the group and explains, "He never leaves his Pokemon unattended nor does he let his house decay like this. But…" She then looks down and shifts her red eyes over to the yard. "Ever since his illness got the better of him. He's been unable to tend to most of the yard's needs and the mansion. He did have help and caretakers- but."

This had the four looking to the yard and mansion. "I don't know what happened and all I got from the medical hospital that he had started not paying the bills. Or stopping his Pokemon from interfering with their workers and such. Which I call bullshit on," she muttered and crossed her arms. "Considering the two Pokemon love the workers that come here and help out. Even being played with by said workers who watch and care for everything." She then gritted her teeth slightly. "All I know is that they're making excuses and honestly began telling the caregivers to stop coming here after the money and such were being stopped being paid for. Even though I know his issuance can take care of it."

Ash huffed lightly and looked down in thought, recalling the memory of when Nidorino chased him and attacking him all the way into Pallet town. Where Leaf and Robert got in the crossfire, with Robert taking the poison sting attacks for him and Leaf. Causing him to be sick and sent to the hospital. Making him lower his eyes halfway, recalling how the mayor of Pallet town. Refused to pay some of the bills for said treatments not only for Robert, but also for Leaf and himself as they too went to the hospital and got many check ups to be sure none of the poison sting got into their system. This had him clenching his hands into fists, making eevee and Pikachu to blink their eyes and look to Ash.

"I know how it feels…" Ash suddenly alerted Misty towards him and then took note of Robert and Leaf, softening their gazes towards him. "Back then when we were much younger, I was an idiot and a fool for trying to play with a Nidorino and angered it. Causing it to chase me all the way back to Pallet town." He then looked towards Jenny and saw her eyes blinking. "It injured Robert, Leaf and I, sending us all to the hospital. With Robert getting the brunt of the Poison sting attack." He then looks towards the mansion. "The Mayor however at the time refused to pay any of the expenses and medical bills, and insisted that the party themselves should pay for them." He then turned to Jenny. "I have no doubt whoever was taking care of this guy and his medical expenses. And," then chuckled sheepishly, "knowing this is also a trade market type of place and no doubt money being involved. They cut all ties to caring for him and his Pokemon."

Robert nodded and faced Jenny. "He's right, even if the man has insurance or documents of a hospital providing service and such. No doubt once they saw the money not coming in, they threw away all ties and cut their losses with him." He growled out. "Not…all people are like that I know, but considering my experience in the hospital. There are just some who are like that, and usually the ones in charge that make the wrong decisions."

Jenny nodded and rested a hand on her chest. "I am glad you all see it my way then and if its any condolences, I am sorry for what you all went through." She then smiled. "Sometimes the past is what makes us become the better person we are today, and shape our future. For now," she then turned and looked towards the mansion and large gates. "We need to figure out how to get the Pokemon out of here and allow us to get inside and see if the man is well or not…"

Ash then grinned widely and smacked Robert's back causing the boy to stumble forward slightly, "ah fear not! We have an eeveelution expert right here!" He exclaimed, causing Robert to stand upright and face him with a confused expression. "He's been traveling with a eevee all this time, and his mother had a Jolteon growing up! We have to be honest to Arceus Eevee expert!"

"Err wait Ash I never said or am I- Robert tried to argue back and then turned to Jenny as she smiled and clasped her hands with his. Making the boy lean back and blush lightly, but also having an exasperated look on his face. While Leaf puffs her cheeks out of annoyance, while Misty gently grabs onto her shoulder styring to calm her down.

"That's good! Then you can really be doing a lot of help for me young man," She said and had Robert sweat dropping and feeling outright nervous now. "If what your friend says is true, then you may know how to distract Jolteon and Vaporeon! Keeping them from interfering with our investigations." She then looked to his eevee, who lowered his ears and chuckled sheepishly as the woman stared at him. "So, what do we do in order to go and distract them?"

"Well um, that is what I mean." Robert then groaned inwardly as Ash continued boasting out.

"Oh come on Robert! This is a Jolteon and Vaporeon, you got this especially considering your mom and all." Ash then happily patted Robert's back some more. "Just leave it to him Jenny, he will know what to do."

Misty sighs and shakes her head while still holding Leaf back. "With how smug he sounds, you'd think Ash is the one with the brilliant idea and knows how to handle Eeveelutions. Way to put him on the spot there." Misty muttered out and had Leaf letting out a frustrated sigh but nodded in agreement.

"Robert doesn't do good when underpressure, especially when it comes to solving problems like this." She then laughed. "But if I know him- he will probably" then blink her eyes open and turn her head when Jenny let go of Robert's hands, and then heard Robert speak up while closing his eyes.

"Well, giving the information you told us and how the two Pokemon are very playful and such." He then lowered his head and gently drummed one finger on his forearm. "And you need to get inside to investigate the mansion and see if the guys are alright." Robert then opens one eye and then tilt his head towards the rusty gate and how the Pokemon door is sealed or rusted. "Then the best option will have to be letting the Pokemon chase one of us and have them follow us into town as long as possible, allowing you to go and investigate inside." He said and then looked back at her. "If that works, and what you say about these two are true. Then they will be too focused on the person they are chasing after throughout the city." He then smiled at Eevee. "After all, Eevee here loves playing chase with my other Pokemon. And considering my mom's Jolteon was the same, then these two with how young they are should also be incentive to give chase."

Misty widened her eyes and then laughed, "That's true! Eevee does love playing chase, and sounds like a perfect plan to me." She then turned to the mansion. "The logic is sound and no doubt, the temptation of playing chase with someone will no doubt entice the two Pokemon." She then turned back towards the others. "Now the question is…who will be distracting them." She asked and then saw Robert clearing his throat and then wrapped an arm around Ash.

"Why Ash and I of course." He said and had Ash nodding his head but then paused and blink his eyes, to then step away with shock and exclaiming out.

"Whoa what?! Why am I going to be chased, why can't I help-" then flinched and raised one arm over his chest when Robert glared at him.

"Because a certain someone shouldn't put the so-called 'expert' on the spot like that and, only make sense for that someone to go and help them distract said Pokemon." Robert said while getting into ash face and even eevee was glaring at him while thrashing his tail about and squeaking out how uncool that was of him. Making ash to sweat drop and chuckled sheepishly.

"Y…Yeah guess that's fair eheh." Ash said while having Pikachu shaking his head and lowering his ears. Muttering out how he walked right into that one, as they all then turned to Jenny who laughed and smiled.

Then it's agreed, Robert and Ash will distract the Pokemon, while Misty, Leaf and I go inside and investigate." She then placed her hands onto her hips. "Now I know I shouldn't worry, but if the two Pokemon do get a little rambunctious. Please keep in mind they're still young and don't know any better, as well they mean well too. So be safe." Robert, Eevee, Pikachu and Ash nodded and then saw her looking to the gate. "Though how should we?"

Ash smiled, "ah leave that to Pikachu!" He said and both he and Pikachu smiled to one another, as the electric mouse knew exactly what he wanted him to do. "Just you girls go and hide and stay out of sight. So this wya the eeveelutions won't be distracted."

Jolteon and Vaporeon were in their master's room, happily wrestling about and rolling around in the bedroom. Playing with one another to even jumping and hopping about. Being sure not to wake up their owner or disturb him in his sleep as Jolteon leaps onto the bed gently, to then try tackling towards Vaporeon who was on her side laying down and then quickly rolling onto her back making Jolteon to miss her. But then quickly leaps at her as the two giggled about and began nipping and biting at one another's neck gently, while Vaporeon squeak and giggles from Jolteon letting out small electric shocks from her body- follow by Vaporeon squirting her with a small water gun attack. Saying how she was cheating and jumped into her once more and the two began wrestling one another, with Jolteon biting lightly on Vaporeon's ear and tugging it, as Vaporeon was lightly nipping at her sister's when they blink their eyes and heard a sudden loud CLANG!

Alerting the two Pokemon as Jolteon let go of Vaporeon's ear, with her letting go of Jolteon ankles and both of them rushed on over towards the window and rested their paws on the windowsill. Twitching their ears and seeing what seemed to be two boys with an Eevee and Pikachu, as the Pikahcu's tail shifted back to normal and seemingly had busted down the rusted gates. As Robert and Ash winced lightly, "Think may have put a little too much force in that attack Pikachu." Ash stated softly having the male Pokemon to sheepishly rub the back of his neck.

"Eh better and easier access I say," Robert joked and had eevee nodding. "Anyway," he then faced the mansion and looked through the windows to spot and lay eyes on Vaporeon and Jolteon who looked quite surprised to see someone going and destroying the front gates. "We have to keep these two chasing us for at least 20 minutes. Long enough for Jenny and the girls to investigate." Robert said, relaying the plan they discussed earlier. "While we have to be careful, Jolteon can be very fast and speedy while Vaporeon should…at least keep up for a bit."

"Right, so we don't want Vaporeon falling behind either. Which is why Pikachu and eevee will help out with that if she starts slowing down." Ash said and the two Pokemon happily saluted. "So, uhh how do we get them to chase us?" Ash asked and curiously looked to Robert, who hummed and crossed his arms trying to think of something.

"Well if what Jenny says is true and they have a lot of energy. Then having them play chase like a game should work." He then opened his eyes and looked at the two Pokemon, who were peering through the window and looking highly curious of the intruders. "Alright ready?" Robert asked and saw everyone nodding. "Hey Jolteon, Vapporeon!" He called out and saw their ears lifting upwards. "We challenge you two to a game of chase!" He exclaimed and thrust dhis arm towards them, "If you can catch all four of us before we make it back here, we will reward you with a prize!"

In which Ash smiled and saw where this was going, "And if we win! You all will have to face the knowledge that a bunch of strangers outran ya and beat ya!" He called out having Robert widen his eyes and then looked at him, while then smiling. "After all- Pokemon can be prideful right?" He chuckled. "Especially children who do not like to lose either."

"Very true, very true." Robert laughed and then looked back to them and saw Vaporeon wagging her tail up and down and the two Pokemon eyes shining with eagerness. "So what do you say? Dare to challenge us and see who is the fastest creatures around here!" In which the four of them laugh as they hear and watch Jolteon and Vaporeon both jumping up and down against the windowsill now, looking to be eager and enticed to play their game. "Then come on and chase us if you want to win!" In which Eevee quickly hopped up onto his arm and climbed up to his Shoulder, while Pikachu did the same and both trainers began running in the opposite directions with ash shouting.

"Catch us if ya can!" He laughed as Jolteon and Vaporeon quickly jump down from the window sill as they began rushing and running their way out of the bedroom, into the main halls, towards the foyer and then b rusting through the front doors with loud bangs and began yipping and barking at Ash and Robert, shouting hw their gonna catch them before they know it! When the two Pokemon ran past and through the broken gate, a shrub nearby would be rustling and shifting about to then showing and revealing the girls poking their heads and smiling brightly. Seeing that the first phase of the plan was in motion and Ash and Robert had gotten the two Pokemon's attention fully.

The girls went ahead and got out of the shrub and began walking over to the broken gates as Jenny says, "alright, seeing that is in motion let's go and check up on their owner. And…well hopefully he is alright." Jenny said and has Leaf and Misty nodding their heads as they all turn and begin running towards the mansion praying to Arceus that the man inside is or hasn't passed away…

As they began approaching the front door of the mansion and seeing them barely holding onto the hinges, Misty hummed and turned her gaze over to the stack of mail, letters and old newspapers that were piled up on the doorstep. Making her soften her expression and grimace slightly, "Well.." she then bends down and picks some of the letter up and has Leaf and Jenny look over to her. "Seeing what you told us earlier about the medical bills and such…look." She then handed one to Jenny and Leaf. "Each one of them seemed to be due and hadn't been paid off in like two months." She then held the one in her hand and saw the termination notice. "Even this is saying that the welfare and care provider will be terminated if he doesn't pay his finds…"

Leaf nodded as she looked through the letters she was given, "Not only that but everything else as well is being terminated. Electric bill, water bill..everything." The brown hair girl said and turned to Jenny. "And you sure there was someone who was helping out with this stuff? Let alone help or use the man's money to pay off the bills?"

Jenny sighed and nodded as she then just tossed the letter to a nearby flowerpot. Figuring no point of throwing them away inside the house especially in its condition, to then holding onto one letter in her hand that has her pissed off. "I did…or at least I thought they were." She grumbled out and lifted the letter upward and showed it to the two girls. "Apparently from what this envelope has, are the caretakers leave of absence and terminating their services for the man of the house and the Pokemon." She then grabbed onto it with both hands, and used her finger gloves to open it up and take the letter out and quickly scan through the dry ink. Her brows furrowing and her expression getting angry. "Ugh of course…"

This had Misty and Leaf glaring at the letter having a suspicion that what Ash said earlier was true and that because the man wasn't paying the bills and such because of his health. They possibly, "Let me guess," Leaf growled out. "They abandoned him and didn't want to work with him or provide care towards him. Because they weren't being paid?"

Jenny sighs and nodded her head, tossing the paper aside as well shaking her head. "Yeah, ugh sometimes I wonder how our town even functions with people like these. Who only care abot their own welfare and being paid." She muttered and then crossed her arms. "Mr Anton deserves more than this treatment and it sickens me to know. That his Pokemon are paying the price for these people's greed."

Leaf growled and stomped her right foot. "It angers me to see People like that just go and treat others like trash. All just because they're not being paid, and even going far as treating the person Pokemon poorly too!" She then punched the wall and winced from the stupid mistake she made. "Ow…especially, considering," she then weakly waved her hand and lifted her right hand pointer finger upwards. "How bad the mansion's shape is, you think they would have better morals and check in on him and his Pokemon, to see if they were doing alright. Not out right ignore them in such a living condition."

Misty who was checking and peeking inside or through the doorway felt her heart sinking even further and began stepping into the foyer. "Not only that but…the inside looks even worse than it does on the outside." She said softly walking forward and approaching the center of the foyer, having Jenny and Leaf entering inside as well. All three of them looked towards the destroyed and broken glass chandelier that used to hang from the ceiling. "...I…hope the girls didn't injure or have their paws…bleeding from stepping onto these glasses?"

Jenny hummed and crouched down and investigated the damaged chandelier. "Hmm, I don't think so it looks like there's a lot of water around it. Meaning that Vaporeon possibly or could have used Water gun to wash the glass away and out the door?" She surmised and looked towards the doorway, including Leaf and Misty. "That would explain the glass around the sides of the porchway." She thought out loud and stood up having Leaf humming as she looked to the right and saw more of the glass.

"Seems like Vaporeon and Jolteon made sure to push the glass not just outside, but also aside the mansion walls. So that they wouldn't step onto it, or probably their owner too. Pretty smart Pokemon for being young." Stated the brown hair girl, having Mist nod her head and then turned around and facing the other parts of the foyer. Curious of where they should go and investigate next? Considering how large the place is, they will have no idea where to go or where to find Mr Anton.

The gym leader crossed her arms and then turned her head over to the other two, "so where should we go next? This place is slowly giving me the creeps and I can't help but begin to feel worried and concerned for the Pokemon living here." She said with a stuttering voice, rubbing her forearms. "And the smell of the place is really bad too. Almost smelling like death."

This had Jenny and Leaf nod in agreement as Leaf's right eye winces and quickly slapped her nose with her hands and muttered out. "Ugh that's for sure something really does smell awful in here, the air is very stagnant too." She then turns to Jenny. "There's no way Vaporeon and Jolteon could live with this horrible smell for months right?"

Jenny hummed, "Could be possible, their noses probably got used to the smell so much that they became dull in their senses." She then looks around the decaying and dusty and rundown foyer. "But then again considering how often they come outside and explore the city. I don't think they're sense of smell would've been gone, let alone dull from living here a lot." She then points towards the west side of the foyer, towards some hanging doors that would be leading to the west hall. "Let's go this way. I do recall having a blueprint of the mansion where the kitchen area is down this hall, along with Mr Anton's room too."

This had the two girls blinking their eyes, shifting their eyes at each other and then back to Jenny wondering and curious of how she knew. Then laughed when the woman said. "Don't forget, they were peeking out from one of the windows on the west side of the mansion. When the boys called out to them and challenged them to that chase. Thus, it stands for reason that Anton's room will be down this hall."

"Make sense and no doubt that Mr Anton will probably have his room moved downstairs and not upstairs. Considering his condition and all that you told us about, and with the letters and envelopes about his medical records and such outside." Misty began saying and looked to the entrance. "The caretakers figured to move him downstairs closer to the kitchen, to save them the hassle and trip constantly up and down the stairs and such." She then turned back to Jenny. "Let's…just hope the kitchen is in no bad condition…even though that will be wishful thinking."

Leaf sighs and shakes her head, while gently rubbing her forehead with the flattened of her palm. "Something tells me we aren't gonna like it that for sure." She then took a deep breath and exhaled. "Let's prepare for the worst. Jenny," she turned to the woman. "Do you have any masks we can use? I don't want to take any risks."

"I do and good thinking, we don't want to catch any bacteria while exploring the place. She reached into her skirt pocket and grabbed out a couple of masks for herself, Leaf and Misty to wear and handed them over. After they went and put them on, the three ladies went ahead and walked through the westward side of the mansion and continued down the rickety floorboards and destroyed manor halls. Seeing that the wallpaper and paintings of the walls were slowly cracking and chipping away. To even peel off and gently fall apart and float down to the dusty and dirty floors of the hall. The vibrant red carpet that is basically covered in nothing but dust, dirt and even some mold here and there that made everyone feeling dread continued to rise up their spine. Making them honestly become even more worried and concerned for the Pokemon health and safety even more.

Leaf would suddenly squeak and jump to the side when a hanging picture snapped off from its nail and slammed into the floor. Causing dust to blow everywhere and shifting the dirt around. Making the girl rest a hand on her chest, trying to calm down her breathing and let out a calming breath. This also had Jenny and Misty jump too, but quickly calming down and looking towards one another and silently nodding to each other that they were alright and continued moving forward. As they did so and seeing the carpets and rugs were showing signs of wear and tear, to even being ripped apart or even clawed marked. No doubt from Vaporeon and Jolteon running and playing with one another in the halls, causing the fabric to be torn apart. Has the trio stopping in front of double doors- facing towards the brown and white color doors. Curious and wondering if this will be the kitchen?

Jenny reached out to the doorknob and twisted it but then the girls quickly stepped back and saw the door falling forward and slamming down hard into the floor with a loud bang. Causing all three of them to flinch and shut their eyes while tightening up their shoulders from the impact. Then slowly relaxing their shoulders and staring down at the fallen door. "Well, if the house falling apart is not of concern for the Pokemons safety? Then I definitely don't want to know what the kitchen looks like, let alone the food." Leaf muttered out through the mask making the other two ladies agree silently and lifted their heads up and peek inside the kitchen area.

Once they entered the kitchen they were greeted by a grotesque sight in front of them. Making Leaf nearly welching at the sight and quickly turning around and exiting out of the kitchen. Considering she didn't want to lose her lunch or get sick inside the kitchen. The sight was horrible and hard to describe what was happening within the area. Food seemed to be everywhere and dropped onto the floor, pots and pans just left outside with leftovers and unclean dishes and residue of food still inside of them. Jars of all sorts left open and left on the counters and even seemingly the fridge doors were left open or more of, hanging open and had whatever inside it and the contents gone rotten and spoiled.

The stench was even worse and just the kitchen entirely seems to be in a state of unrepairable or being able to get replaced. Jenny shook her head as she looked left to right at the sight, trying hard not to feel herself puking from the sight alone. "They literally left the place in this condition. They didn't bother at all putting away the food and such, nor even cleaning the utensils and pots and pans. This…this is horrible!"

Leaf, who was doing her best to calm down and keep herself in check from outside the kitchen, called out, "all this because they weren't being paid in time. I am sorry but Jenny, isn't this practically illegal let alone- endangering the person's safety and health?"

"Oh trust me, I am definitely going to be putting this company under arrest as well as shutting down their facility for mistreatment and endangerment of public safety. Let alone on other charges that will definitely make even the God of Pokemon blush." Growled the woman as she turned to Misty who slowly moved into the kitchen and towards the Pokemon food bowls that were next to the kitchen sink. Having Jenny blinking her eyes and starting to approach her and she too staring down at the food bowls. Making her heart ache even more seeing the state of the food bowls, let alone the Pokemon food that seem to have expired and were practically unrecognizable.

"They're even not caring for the Pokemon too…look at their food bowls and water bowls." Misty said softly and gritted her teeth. "Their…practically dented or melted apart from being close to the heater vents. To even the water bowl, caked with god know what. Jolteon and Vaporeon…do…do they still drink out of this bowl or…or even eat out of this bowl." She said feeling tears welling up to the corner of her eyes, clenching and unclenching her fists. "Mistreatment of his Pokemon, not caring for them and outright refusing to feed them or making sure they're alright. Please tell me they still don't eat out of this or drink out of this…"

Jenny softens her gaze and looks back to the moldy and destroyed water bowl and food bowl, seeing the rotten food and caked in mold inside of them. She wasn't sure how to answer Misty, all they can really do is pray and hope to Arceus the Pokemon were well aware that they couldn't eat out of these bowls. She rests a comforting hand on Misty's shoulder and says, "Look, after we're done here and figuring out what happened to Anton. We will go and take the two Pokemon to Nurse Joy and see if they are a-okay and healthy." But then she smiled. "But considering how excited and happy they were about playing a game with Ash and robert? I have no doubt they're smart enough to know they can't eat out of these bowls."

This had Misty exhaling into the mask and nodding her head, "Yeah your right…they wouldn't be healthy if they were openly chasing and playing with the boys." She turned to Jenny. "Thanks…" then the two of them hummed and heard Leaf shouting out to them from the hallway and outside of the kitchen area.

"Girls I think you should see this- " Her voice was scared, shaky and seemingly in urgent need to be checked on. Worrying, the two, Officer Jenny and Misty quickly turned on their heels and began rushing out of the kitchen and into the hall. They came to a stop and began looking around the area as Leaf called out again. "I found Anton's room but…Anton…." she shouted and had the two ladies running down the hallway swiftly to where they figured where Mr Anton's room will be, as they fastly approach it Kenny and Misty let out low yelps as they tried to stop themselves but slightly slip on their own feet caught themselves by touching the floor and kicked off the bumped rug and approach the door.

When they reached the doorway and saw Leaf standing there frozen, Misty eyes widened and nearly gasped out at the sight before her. While Jenny raised a hand to her mouth and eyes shrinking down into pupils and began shaking from the sight before her, with Leaf choking out. "I…think we know why Anton hasn't been…heard." Said the girl as Jenny gently moved and pushed herself past Leaf who was just stuck frozen on the spot eyes wide and pale in the face as she felt Misty reaching a hand onto her shoulder and softly asking her if she's alright? Leaf numbly nodded, "I, I'm fine just…never easy seeing this." She said and took a shaky breath. Recalling how she, Robert and Ash witness Mawile's owner passing away and dying in the hospital bed a couple weeks back when they first encountered the Pokemon.

The orange haired gym leader softens her expression and then looks towards the bedroom. Medical supplies everywhere, a hospital stretcher that the man was on resting up against a wall with him still laying on it. A TV screen at the front of the bed, no doubt where Jolteon and Vaporeon would watch shows, movies or whatever Anton wanted to watch. Spending quality time with him, the two girls then shifted their gaze down to the foot of the bed and saw that there was a Pokemon bed resting near it. Place where Jolteon and Vaporeon no doubt will be sleeping and resting to keep their master company. But they also shafted their gaze to the end of the hospital bed where they can see imprints of the Eeveelutions also seemingly sleep with their owner at the end of the bed and keep him company as well.

They then look around the room and see Pokemon toys littered about, chewed on and even slightly torn, indicating that Jolteon and Vaporeon may have spent the entire months living in this room while Mr Anton was ill and sickly slash bedridden. Having the girls feeling their hearts sinking and tears beginning to swell up in their eyes, before turning their attention towards the medical equipment that were surrounding the bed. One being an oxygen machine, some IV machines and other equipment they don't know of or recognize. They're all been turned off and having no power to them, as the IV bag seems to be completely empty and drained of its fluid

They dared not look at the man considering they don't want to see what could be potentially a corpse that was left here to be with the two Pokemon. The girls then turn their attention to Jenny, as she approaches on the one side of the bed and looks towards Mr Anton, seemingly in disbelief and horror as well terrified to see the man's condition and the state that the medical business had left him in. She stared for what felt like hours into the dead and dying skin of the man resting on the bed. Nothing but skin and bones, as the man's skin has been shriveled up and is completely darkened, brown and slowly peeling away. There was nothing to recognize him with as the once proud business owner was reduced to nothing but a corpse.

The girls just stared at the woman, seeing her mind trying to process everything and what he was witnessing. Leaf then looked away and then hummed seeing what looked to be a piece of paper near the TV stand. In good condition too had her raise a brow and slowly approached it being sure not to step on the toys and such in case she trips over them. When she approached the paper, this had Jenny and Misty alert to her grabbing something and lifted up the mint condition paper. "What's this?" She mumbled out and then unfolded it and began looking through the hand writing. "To anyone who may find this piece of paper please listen to what I have to say. I may not know how long I will have for this world…"

A man's voice then replaces Leaf's reading as the three women would disappear and flashback to the moment of this writing as it shows Mr Anton laying on the bed, upright and pressing against the end of his bed. WithJolteon and Vaporeon playing and bouncing about in the room playing with their new Pokemon toys as they were tossing it and throwing them with their mouths at one another. "As I know that the people who are or used to be my caregivers have straight up forgotten me and abandoned me, for I could not pay them the monthly fees anymore. I have been bedridden for a long time now and unable to gain access to my funds and bank accounts." His voice was weak and labored as he had tubes connecting to his arms, and some in his nose as he shakenly wrote on the letter he had on his lap and using a hardcover back book to get his writing down. "I am afraid and worried for my darling Pokemon. They are like family to me, they mean the most to me and make my life incredible and happy." He continued writing and briefly paused and lifted his gaze towards the two Pokemon who were now rolling about and wrestling one another in front of his bed.

"Jolteon and Vaporeon are the only family members I have ever since living here and moving to Cinnabar island. Ever since they were handed to me by the people of the town, I have given them love and affection like any other owner or parent would with their child and provided them with everything they need to survive and be happy." He pauses again and begins coughing lightly, causing the two Pokemon to stop from their tussling and lowering their ears wondering if their roughhousing was causing him to cough. But saw the man smiling and shaking his head no to them, while then waving them to go ahead and keep playing. Which in turn has the two smiling at him and resume their playful game. "I don't know how long I have or how long I will probably be here in the living world. But if something were to happen to me and people began becoming worried and concerned about my health and my Pokemon. I do wish this letter reaches out to anyone who may come and check up on my two girls."

"U don't want them to be abandoned or to be orphaned, I know that Eeveelutions are very rare Pokemon to find in the wild and that many people, including the Black market and possibly team Rocket. Will no doubt try to hunt down my two girls and use them for who knows what. Thus I have one request before any of them to get wind, or people here figuring to get money off from Jolteon and Vaporeon and trade them off into the black market." The man then took another pause as he felt his chest becoming really heavy, his heart rate increasing slightly as the heart monitor continued to beep and picking up speed. Showcasing the increased rate of his heart, as he rested his hand onto his chest and gently pounded it. Before shaking his head and facing down to the letter. "I've been hearing rumors and stories about exceptional trainers that are currently exploring the world and taking on the Pokemon league. I may not know their names but they have been bringing a lot of hope and happiness to Pokemon who have either been abandoned by their trainers, or taking them in from losing their loved ones. Or being mistreated and misunderstood."

He then paused again and slowly felt dizziness entering his body before closing his eyes and shaking his head as he refocused on writing. Feeling his strength leaving him as he continued to write down, "so if by chance or oracle that this letter is found. Please send the Pokemon to those trainers and let them live happy lives and to be healthy. I know that these wonderful trainers will do an amazing job watching over my daughters and keeping them safe from harm. Please in regards to this old man's last wishes to send these Pokemon to Professor Oak and have him hand out these two Pokemon to those young ones who will care for them…"

Afterhe was done writing and feeling his strength leaving him, he fell backwards against his bed and began coughing violently as this alerted Vaporeon and Jolteon once more as the two Pokemon quickly leap onto the bed and approach him on both left and right side of him. Watching with their opal eyes and staring down at the letter he was slowly and fumbling folding up within his grasp. He then smiled tiredly towards the two girls and began asking them to go and place the letter near the TV stand, and then commanding them that if anyone ever enters the house to go and guide them to this letter and hand it to them.

The two Pokemon yip happily and gently took the letter from him and walked towards the edge of the bed and jumped down and then approached the TV stand and slid the lette ronto it. They then squeal in delight when the TV turned on and saw their favorite show were being aired as the man had turn the TV on with the remote and then goes and raises the volume high as possible in order to drown out the heart monitor going wild and blaring out in rapid succession as the monitor was showing his heart drastically rising up suddenly ad reaching dangerous levels, with his hand slumping down onto the side of his body and then the tv remote sliding of his hand and hitting the floor below as the heart monitor then went flat line.

"I want my daughters to live a happy and healthy life, so please see this letter. Sign…Mr Anton…" Leaf finished while then sniffing lightly and quickly and wiping her eyes from the tears that were rolling down her cheeks. Even Misty and Jenny were doing the same and then turning their attention over to the deceased man that was on the bed. Then back to the letter as Leaf says, "how he even managed to make sure Jolteon and Vaporeon not to worry about him passing away on that day. Shows he really…cares for them." They then turned towards the Tv wondering if in the past he turned it on right before he passed away on that day and had the Pokemon distracted.

Jenny went and walked over to it, knowing full well there's no power in the house but was shocked and amazed when she pushed the button. It turned on and showed the white noise on the TV screen making her wonder if Jolteon used its electric attacks to power it up and keep it turned on? Then the trio blinked their eyes when the white noise began playing a cartoon show of the past and made them wonder how that was possible, only for Misty to look down and see the VCR hooked up as well. Figuring Jolteon also used her electric attacks on it as well.

Leaf then looks back to the letter and hummed, "Promising Trainer's who have been taking on their Pokemon league journey." she repeated and looked to the side. "Only ones I know of are me, Robert, Ash and Gary? At least from Pallet town." She then shrugged her elbows. "I don't know anyone else who started their journey alongside us in other towns and whatnot?"

Misty nodded and then took the letter gently and read through it. "And he does want those who come looking for him out of concern and well-being of him or his Pokemon to go and send them to Professor Oak." She then looks at Leaf. "But…the whole Pokemon being abandoned by their trainers, or being misunderstood and such. Isn't that pretty specific?" She said,

Jenny hummed and faced the girls, "sounds like he's referring to you, Robert and ash Leaf." Stated the woman having Leaf look towards her. "You all did tell me about your adventures briefly while we were heading over here and it sounds like the three of you really cared for Pokemon and took them under your belt. When they were either abandoned or people mistreating them and such." She continued and had Leaf looking down and then towards the decayed corpse in front of her as the man's writing echoed in her mind. Although, to be frank she doesn't know if she could handle having eeveelutions on her team. Let alone right now, she's not really looking for any other Pokemon right now.

Misty smiles under the mask and says, "I am sure either Robert or Ash will gladly take Vaporeon or Jolteon in their hands. After all-" She then winks. "The two truly care for Pokemon and have experienced these types of things before. Especially Ash." She said and ha dLeaf laughing and nodding her head.

"Yeah, I think Robert would probably allow Ash to have them both. Considering he kind of already deals with his mom's Jolteon back at home. And with his own eevee, no doubt the little guy would probably want to evolve into an evolution that will make Robert proud." She said and then sighs, but then looks towards the window having the other two do the same. "Actually now the question is? How are they doing with the two girls…"

Meanwhile with Ash, Robert, Pikachu and eevee who are currently running and dashing their way into the city and having both Jolteon and Vaporeon chasing after them. Were making light and hard turns whenever they reached or approached near some alleyways and routes to take in order to keep themselves ahead of the two eeveelutions, but also making sure that they wouldn't lose the girls either. As they did so, Pikachu and eevee who were on their shoulders- would constantly look behind them once in a while to make sure that the female Pokemon were following them and keeping pace with them.

Pikachu's ears tilted upwards when he spotted Jolteon making a wide turn into the alleyway follow by jumping up onto the side of the building wall in order not to crash into them and hops back down onto the road, while Vaporeon would slide across the street and smacking her tail against the corner of the building in order to propel herself into the alleyway. Having Pikachu blink his eyes and muttering to himself of how clever these Pokemon were for being so young?

"Pikachu, are they still following us?" Ash asked between breaths as Pikachu quickly faced him and shouted out that they were. "Good, cause we gotta make sure to keep them busy for twenty minutes. Robert, where should we go next?" Ash asked as he and Robert exited out of the alleyway, with Robert quickly reaching his right arm out and grabbing onto the street pole to swing himself around and heading south. While ash cleared the turn without too much problem, though slightly slip but immediately recovered as the two teens continued running south in the city. Robert hummed and turned his head back to see if Jolteon and Vaporeon would clear the turn or not. Though wince and chuckle sheepishly as both female Pokemon that tried to make the turn. Had bumped into one another and rolling about and sliding gently into a wheel cart.

But weren't harmed thankfully and in fact, the two Pokemon were giggling and laughing as they got back onto their feet and started giving chase once more and running down the street after the two boys. Robert then faced forward as his arms were pumping forward and back as they made their way through the streets, while evading and avoiding bumping or crashing into anybody that was in front of him. "I think we should go and find a Park somewhere with a large gate. That should give us some breathing room and time to catch our breaths. But also, prevent Jolteon and Vaporeon from reaching us as well."

"Aren't you worried about them jumping the fence?" Ash asked and smiled when Robert shook his head and then said.

"Not really, if Jenny is right and they are still very young? They should not have any attack moves or attacks that will allow them to jump any large fences. But right now we need a park to test it out though." He then turned his head at Eevee, "Eevee use Quick attack to get ahead of us and see if you can locate a park?" He asked his partner who nodded his head and leapt off from Robert's shoulder, followed by having white energy gathering around his body and blasted forward with incredible speed up ahead of them and making a sharp turn around the corner.

"While Eevee does that we should head left, to buy him time." Robert said and Ash nodded as once they reached the end of the block. The two boys quickly made a left and headed into the plaza of the town. Hearing Vaporeon and Jolteon vastly approaching from behind them as they too reached the end of the block and made a sharp left as well. As they did so they all will see the city becoming more bustling and busy when heading into the plaza, shopping carts here and there. Food vendors, shopping stalls, you name it and it will be there. Some playground objects were laid out here and there for the children making it quite the obstacle course for both humans and Pokemon. Especially for Robert, Ash and the two eeveelutions.

Robert and Ash will be grunting, yelping and hissing lightly as they weave and bob through some of the stalls and whatnot, while being sure to slow down their pace and speed. So that they wouldn't run or accidentally crash into anyone or anything as they did so, some were a bit tricky to maneuver form as Ash had to slide under some people carrying a large metal pole between one another's shoulders. As the workers quickly raised their arms up to lift the pole watching ash going underneath it. Then when they lowered the pole, they saw Robert jumping over it shouting sorry to them, causing the two men to almost lose their balance and fumbling about with the Metal Pole with the man on the right dropping it onto the floor nearly having it slam onto his foot.

He bent down and ready to grab the one end of the pole, as he then felt Jolteon suddenly jumping onto his back and leaping off from it- causing him to fall forward and hitting the ground. While the other man holding the other end of the pole, blinked his eyes and turned his attention towards his right and saw a Vaporeon running towards them and tried leaping over the metal pole. But felt her paws slipping slightly when she landed on the tip of it and began fumbling about causing the man to panic slightly and feeling his grip loosening on the end of the pole.

Vaporeon, after getting all four of her paws onto the pole, jumps forward and kicks the pole out of the man's hand, causing it to slam onto his foot and making him shout out in pain. He quickly began jumping up and down tending to his foot and winced one eye open to stare over at the group that were running wondering what was up and why the two teens were being chased by the two Pokemon? As the chase continued Ash and Robert began having a bit of trouble maneuvering around the people and citizens as it was becoming more dense with people and attractions than ever before. Making it somewhat hard to determine or figuring out where they were going or heading towards?

One thing for certain they made sure to stay by each other as much as possible not wanting to get separated or split apart during this chase and accidentally losing to the two eeveelution Pokemon. They've entered the playground toys and attraction of the city as Robert and Ash accidentally ran or ran into one of the playgrounds attractions where kids hold onto a metal bar and kick their feet into the ground to make it spin around as fast as they could. And coincidentally because of their speed and such, as well hitting into the metal pole one after the other. The two boys and Pikachu, will feel the attraction start spinning rapidly making their eyes go wide and pupils shrinking from the momentum they carried to then feeling their hands slipping through the bars and went flying off the spinning playground attraction, to then crashing and falling right into some see-saws with Ash, Robert and Pikachu landing on one end and groaning slightly and having their eyes spiraling from the dizziness.

Jolteon and Vaporeon, who came to a sliding halt after witnessing Ash, Robert and Pikachu flying off the spinning attraction, blinked their eyes and then smiled at one another as they too wanted to spin like that and go flying as well! So the two quickly hop onto the spinning attraction after it had slowed down, with Jolteon and Vaporeon quickly wrapping their paws around the metal pole, "Jolteon, Jolt!" Jolteon yelps and barks towards Vaporeon telling her to use Water gun to make them spin and go fast. The happy water type nodded with a bright smile and faced the opposite direction and then fired off her water gun attack! When doing so and the force of the attack hitting the ground, the two Pokemon caused the spinning attraction to pick up speed and go at blinding speed making the two Pokemon squealing out in delight and happiness as they felt their bodies being pulled and tug from the momentum, to then looking towards another and nodded their heads as they happily let go of the handle bars and felt themselves being flung out from the attraction and flying into the sky!

The two boys groaned slightly and began getting up, while resting one hand on their heads. "Ugh, did anyone catch the license plate of the washing machine?" Robert groaned out as Ash replied.

"More like a tilt-a-whirl." Mumbled the boy as Pikachu groaned and shook his head, lowering his ears and then quickly tilted them upwards and blinked his eyes. He then faced upwards and had Ash stare at him, "what is it Pikachu?" He asked, causing Robert to turn his head over at Pikachu and then they both heard Pikachu chanting and pointing into the sky. Having the two teens lift their heads up and saw the two giggling and laughing Pokemon flying into the air. "Wait, how are they?"

Robert then looked forward and saw that they were on a see-saw making him realize what's about to happen if they don't get off. "Ash, I think we should get off this ride." Robert said quickly having Ash to look at Robert, while then facing ahead seeing the other end of the see-saw and then looks up towards the two eeveelutions.

"Please Robert you watch way to many cartoons, there's no way Vaporeon and Jolteon are heavy enough-" And before Ash could even finish his sentence, Joltoen and Vaporeon landed onto the other end of the See-saw making sure to slam all four of their paws onto it. Which caused the one end the teen and Pikachu were sitting on, to go flying upwards and sending all three of them into the air, "MAKE US FLYYYYYYYYYYY!" Ash cried out as he, Pikachu and Robert went soaring into the air and heading outwards from the central plaza of the city. HHaving Jolteon and Vaporeon to look up at the three and began laughing and smiling as they faced one another.

"Jolteon, Jolt!" Jolteon said to Vaporeon telling her how silly and super fun the two trainers were. Making Vaporeon nod her head in agreement and respond back.

"Poreon, Vaporeon!" The water type said how they haven't had this much fun in forever, not ever since their master had begun sleeping and such. Making Jolteon nod and then lifted her paw up saying they should continue chasing the boys. Considering they haven't won their game yet. Vaporeon agreed and followed her sister to continue the chase with the four people who challenged them.

Robert, Ash and Pikachu crash landed outside of the central plaza, landing in a heap and slowly recovering back onto their feet. With Robert hissing and gritting his teeth while stretching out his back. While ash stood up and rubbed the top of his head, feeling a slight headache entering his mind. "Ugh…okay even in real life, physics still works even if it's not a cartoon." Ash muttered out and had Pikachu nod his head in agreement. "How did you know it would happen?" Ash asked and looked at Robert though wince when he heard a pop coming from Robert's muscles and back, though saw him relaxing and sighing in relief.

"Ah much better, been wanting to get that knot out of my back for a long while now, especially when doing things with the two girls…" He sighed out and felt more relaxed and flexible now that the muscle finally popped and the stiffness left his back. He then turns to Ash and Pikachu who blink their eyes curious of what he meant, in which Robert lightly blushes and looks away. "Err um…never mind." He said hoping to dodge the question about what he meant by doing things with the girls?

But Ash felt heat going to his face but smiled, connecting the dots and knowing what Robert meant. To which is making love with Misty and Leaf, granted he knew Leaf and him were a couple but…he didn't expect Misty to be one too. But eh, why should he question it? He has an entire party of female Pokemon who love him and want to be mates with him and he made a promise he will do his best for them. "No worries Robert, I understand." chuckled Ash, having Robert turn to him and raise a brow. "Don't forget who I have on MY team." He snicker and had Robert humming and then laughing alongside him.

"Right, forget all the female Pokemon you have in your party, look humanoid to ya thanks to the Vision of Pokemon. Meaning their potential lovers to ya." Robert said and nodded his head in understanding which had him humming. "Which reminds me?" He then turned his head towards the direction they came flying from and saw Vaporeon and Jolteon in the distance. "Does that mean Jolteon and Vaporeon look humanoid?" He raised a hand. "Cause Flareon you said has one too right?"

Ash let out a low oh, "Good point I didn't check" He then turned around and looked at the two females. "Hmm, noo they're the same…Actually Jenny did say they are young. And considering Popplio when she hatched, didn't also have a humanoid form either. Not even Buneary." He added and then crossed his arms. "I guess Vision of Pokemon will only allow me to see them as such when they're mature or of age."

"Well that's good, it would be weird if they have humanoid forms when they are born or aren't of age." Robert chuckled out and had Ash laugh sheepishly knowing exactly what he meant. Then the three of them blinked their eyes and turned around as they heard Eevee's voice calling out to them. Seeing the fluff ball sliding across the end of the block and began hopping up and down wagging his tail excitedly and then began pointing towards the right.

Robert smiled as he adjusted his hat and looked to Ash, "seems like Eevee found where the park is. Let's go before Jolteon and Vaporeon catch up with us." He said and began running after eevee, surprising Ash and Pikachu of Robert's sudden increase of speed with his running and even seemingly turning on the dime as well without much problems.

This had Ash smiling brightly, "well whaddya know, that pop of his back really did make him loosen up and such." He chuckled and got Pikachu nodding his head but then nearly fell over blushing as Ash then said, "Though…what did the girls do to him? That had his back aching and such?" Then flinched as Pikachu slapped his cheek with his tail telling him better not question it and to get going. "Right, right- less we know the better." Ash said and began running after him and Eevee, while swiftly turning towards the left which is Eevee's right to head in the direction of where the Park will be as Jolteon and Vaporeon are vastly approaching them and getting close to tagging them and winning this game of chase.

Minutes will fly by as ash. Robert, Pikachu and eevee manage to find the park and begin heading right for it. With Jolteon and Vaporeon chasing right behind them and increasing speed when doing so and going down the hill. The four of them rapidly approached the park and saw the gate halfway open, "There it is and luckily it's still open. We can shut the gate and buy us time before we head back to the girls." Robert shouted as Ash nodded in agreement as all four of them reached the gate as Robert. Reach the gate door and swing it open for the three and quickly close it and swing the latch lock across the gate. While then stepping back as Jolteon and Vaporeon crashed into the gate with their paws, barking and yelping at the four.

Ash and Robert let out low breathes of air and hang off their knees, while Pikachu and eevee took a couple deep breaths to calm themselves down. Ash then lifted his head at the two eeveelutions who were pawing and clawing at the fence gates. "Heh, seems like we're gonna win this chase." He lightly taunted them and placed his hands onto his hips. "And thankfully none of ya have attack moves that can get across the fence." He then turned to Robert, as the boy stood upright and took a deep breath. "Seems like your guess was on the mark robert! Jolteon and Vaporeon don't seem to have attack moves to get across the fence."

The two eeveelutions stop their clawing and pawing at the fence and take a couple steps back. Blinking their eyes and began scanning around the area. Robert lightly placed a hand on the gate and leaned on it. "Well, we still shouldn't let our guards down either way. Pokemon can be crafty if they want to be Ash." He then lifted a finger. "Remember the see-saw incident?"

Pikachu nodded and wagged his tail, as Eevee tilted his head confusingly and looked at Pikachu. Who briefly caught him up to speed letting him know how Jolteon and Vaporeon, used a tilt=a=whirl to fly into the air and then landed on the other half of the see-saw that sent him, ash and robert flying into the air. Eevee widened his eyes and raised his ears in shock and surprise, then looking sideways muttering out how it's like a cartoon. Causing Pikachu to comically fall onto the ground and laugh sheepishly at eevee's innocence there.

Though this had Jolteon and Vaporeon twitching their ears when they heard Robert saying see-saw, as they looked at one another and smiled brightly. "Jolteon!"

"Vaporeon!" The two chanted out and had Ash and Robert look at them and see them running away from the gates and towards the right. Making them tilt their heads wondering what the two Poke girls were plotting? They then see them approaching what looks like a wheel cart, as both Pokemon went behind it and pressed their foreheads against the back of the cart and started pushing it forward and towards the fence.

"Pikachu?" Pikachu chanted slightly wondering what the two eevee's were doing. As they pushed the cart close and a couple feet away from the fence. Then the two of them quickly ran onto the side of it and started turning it around so that the wooden poles of it that are to be grabbed or hooked up to something, faced towards the fence. With the cart part of it was facing away.

"Evo?" Eevee squeaked slightly as he twitched his one ear. Robert and Ash hummed and tried to wrap their brains over what they could be doing or using the wheel cart for? That Ash had to raise a hand and point towards them, while looking up at robert.

"Are they trying to or thinking of ramming the fence slash gate?" Ash asked and Robert just shrugged and shook his head. Ash then looked back towards the two and then crossed his arms. "Well whatever they're doing, they seem confident about it?"

"Well Jolteon and Vaporeon could be clever Pokemon I mean," Robert then lifted his hand up and one finger. "We don't know much about these two Pokemon to really understand what their thought process is or how they behave." The blue hair spiky teenager said and saw Ash pursing his lips and then looking at Robert.

"Though considering how playful they are and you being around Jolteon so much. I bet this is normal behavior for ya right." Ash chuckled and had Robert shaking his head, hoping Ash doesn't get the idea of him being an EXPERT on eeveelutions. "I mean has eevee acted like this too?"

Robert deadpan and crosses his arms, "You make me sound like I know everything about eeveelutions Ash. don't go painting a picture just because my mom happens to have a Jolteon, while me having an eevee. Will make you automatically assume I am an expert." He said as eevee and Pikachu shook their heads at the two, then faced Jolteon and Vaporeon twitching their ears as they watched the female Pokemon testing out the wheel cart. Having both males to raise a confused brow and tilting their heads.

"I mean you really haven't put eevee inside the Pokeball right? So, he would no doubt be playful and such like his mother right?" Ash chuckled out and had Robert ready to say something and denied that fact. But pauses and blink his green eyes and think it over. Before shaking his head and chuckling.

"Touche." Robert then laughed, "Yeah eevee is Jolteon's son. My mom told me Jolteon had secretly raised the Pokemon when it hatched from its egg. Training it and preparing the little guy for me, just in case there were no more starters at Oaks lab." Robert chuckled out and had ash nodding his head and then proudly raised a finger and closed his eyes.

Exactly!" Then paused. "Wait, Jolteon was training Eevee and preparing him just in case there were no Pokemon starters left?" Ash repeated and then thrust his arms down and had stars in his eyes. "Oh wow that's so cool! That is very thoughtful of her, no wonder…" then hummed. "Actually, is that why you were about to let me choose Bulbasaur then when all of us were there?"

Robert laughed, "I was completely oblivious to Jolteon and eevee Ash. I had no clue about it, but when I left with Leaf and got to Oak's gate. That is when my mom showed up with Jolteon who presented me with the Eevee."

Pikachu and eevee were still watching the eeveelutions as the two males then flinched as they saw Vaporeon and Jolteon now jumping and hitting against the wooden poles, in order to test out them flinging one another into the air. "So, would you still take eevee despite having bulbasaur?" Ash asked, Robert surprised him and shook his head no. "Oh? Ah~" Ash then smiled. "You wanted to be fair and only have a starter Pokemon, but not having two right away."

"Yeah but ya know how my mom's Jolteon is. Persistent and stubborn, plus she would've played that whole guilt card on me and probably whine about how I wouldn't accept a mother's gift." Robert and Ash laughed together as the raven-haired boy agreed. Eevee began poking and gently swiping his paw at Robert's pant leg as the two boys were oblivious to what was happening outside the gates. That even Pikachu began tugging and pulling on Ash's pant leg as well.

"PIKAPI!" Pikachu shouted and alerted the boys to their Pokemon actions and blinked their eyes. "Pikachu, chu!" Pikachu shouted and thrusted his paw over to the female Pokemon. Having the boys lift their heads and face the girls seeing them testing and jumping onto the wheel cart like a see-saw, in order to fling them upwards and into the air no doubt to get across the fence.

"Eevee, evoi! Voi!" Eevee cried out saying they should probably get going and start running just in case the girls do somehow succeed and fling one another over the fence. Robert then chuckled and bent down petting eevee's head.

"Ah don't worry guys, like Jenny said. They're young, they won't have any attack moves or a move that could help them clear the jump." Robert said and faced forward at the girls. With Jolteon happily hopping into the cart itself, while Vaporeon took a couple distance away from it in order to get a running start. "And there's no way the girls will be able to succeed without some height and force with their jumps. Unless Vaporeon has Aqua tai, there's no-" Robert's sentence came to a mid stop.

Vaporeon let out a happy cry as she used a quick attack to enhance her speed and started dashing forward and running incredibly fast, to then leaps into the air. "Vaporeon!" She cried out again as water began swirling and gathering around her tail, as she then began flipping her body forward and swinging her tail with the forward momentum and did a slam dunk right into the wooden poles, causing the Wheel cart to jerk upwards with a loud bang! Enough force to lift the cart off the ground and lunging Jolteon into the air, who also went and used quick attack to leap off at the last minute to use the momentum to carry her over the gates and above everyone's head. Then landing down on the other side, entering the park and began sliding around and digging her feet into the ground and came to a stop, and barked happily.

"Jolteon!" She said and grinned widely shouting victory and started padding her paw into the dirt. Ash and Robert stared wide=eyed and blinked their eyes at how the two girls did that, let alone smart enough to use a quick attack on Jolteon's part in order to carry her momentum. Ash lifted his hand and pointed,

"Is…that possible? I know Jolteon is speedy, but." He then tilted his body sideways and stared towards Vaporeon. Then back to Jolteon and rested a hand on his hat, as Robert tried to figure out how that was possible. But is impressed with the girl's ingenuity. "I mean that is quite incredible there."

Robert nodded and then turned his attention towards Vaporeon. "Well no worries, Vaporeon is still on the other side. And no way she will have the speed to even try to climb up the gate. Let alone have a way to reach inside the park." Robert said and then looked back to Jolteon. "If anything and knowing a bit of my mom Jolteon, they usually get frustrated when they can't gain access to somewhere. So Vaporeon might." Though hummed as eevee ears lowered and interrupted robert.

"Vee-vee…Evoi." He said and pointed at Vaporeon, having both boys to quickly turn around and stare towards the water type. Seeing her bending her forward body downwards and then using Quick attack once more and charges the gate. When she does she then quickly jumps at it and runs upwards for a brief moment, to then kick jump off form it and twirling her body- she then took a inhale of breath and then blasted a large and powerful water gun attack towards the ground! Using it to propel her upwards into the air and right over the large gate, clearing it with no problems as she then back flips and lands on all fours to then sliding across the park road and stopped next to her sister. Having ash, robert, eevee and Pikachu staring with oval eyes and blinking them in shock and amazement of what just happened. Watching Jolteon happily bouncing up and down cheering for her sister's amazing technique, to then the two high five one another and then quickly stared back to the boys with grinning smirks on their faces.

Pikachu and eevee couldn't help themselves but also clapped their paws at the amazing feet Vaporeon just did, as Ash lifted his hat gently and began saying. "Wow, I didn't know they could do that. Hey does that mean that-" He then laughed and sheepishly backed away as Robert yelled at him and threw his arms up.

"JUST BECAUSE MY MOM AND I HAVE A EEVEELUTION DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE EXPERTS!" Robert huffed and crossed his arms, having a bit of steam coming out of his ears. Ash is laughing sheepishly and feeling a bit embarrassed about putting Robert on the spot like that now and asking him things about eeveelutions and their behavior. Vaporeon and Jolteon giggled and laughed at Robert's expense, finding it humorous how the raven-haired boy looked up to him for eevee advice. "Anyway…" Robert said and had ash blinking his eyes while Pikachu and eevee looked upwards cutely towards him.

"Anyway?" Ash said softly and then heard Robert say.

"Run." And with that Robert quickly turns around and unlatches the gate and starts running out of the park, making Ash to stare lightly for a moment as his brian catches up to him and repeats the word Run. But then widen his eyes, almost forgetting what they were doing.

"Oh right! Run!"He exclaimed and followed right behind Robert, with eevee and Pikachu immediately running too as Jolteon and Vaporeon happily barked out and gave chase once more as they were all now heading back to the mansion, not gonna like what they are gonna see once they get there…

Twenty minutes has gone by as Ash and Robert with their Pokemon heading back to the direction of the mansion. The two boys panting and breathing heavily, building up sweat from the non-stop running and being chased by the two eeveelutions, that when they reached the top of the hill. The two boys just collapsed onto their knees and hands. Panting and gasping out for air. "I…can't go any farther." Ash muttered out, hanging his head down while resting his hands on the dirt road. "I think I will pass out or throw up if I keep running like this."

Robert nodded as he was in a kneeling position. Shaking his head and feeling his hat falling off his head, "y..Yeah. My legs have reached their limit." He said and felt eevee approaching him and resting his paws onto his straight shoulder and started licking him. Making Robert chuckle, "thanks Eevee…"

Ash chuckled as Pikachu did the same and approach him and not lick him, but wiping the sweat from ash's forehead. Having the raven-haired teen chuckle and lift a hand and petted Pikachu on the head. "Thanks buddy," then grunts out along with Robert as Vaporeon and Jolteon leaps into the air and landed right on top of the two boys, causing them to fly forward and began rolling down the hill rapidly and tumbling about in a ball shape before they came to a stop and both boys landed on their back side. With one female Pokemon on top of them happily yelping and barking in delight as they bounce and buck their rear ends up and down, shouting out 'we got you, we got you, we win, we win' in their Pokemon tongue.

Making Ash and Robert groan softly and letting out weak laughter form how tired and exhausted they are. "Yeah…you win." they both said, but then blink their eyes open and even Vaporeon and Jolteon stopped tier dancing as all four of them heard what sounded like a 'whoop' noise of an ambulance and had the two boys moving their heads up slash trying to look upwards behind them with everything upside down in their view. Before rolling to their sides and seeing what was ahead of them.

Jolteon and Vaporeon got off of them and were confused and bewildered as to why there were hospital cars outside of their home? As they sense Pikachu and eevee approaching them and catching up with them and coming to a stop as they too see the cars. Ash and Robert got up and adjusted their clothes and patted the dirt away, softened their gazes as they peered towards the cars and then looked at one another with worried glances. "Evoi, voi!" Eevee cried out saying there's Jenny, Misty and Leaf! They then went ahead and ran forward and towards the gate, when doing so and approaching the front yardJolteon and Vaporeon widened their eyes as they saw their master covered up and being taken out of the house, making them let out loud barks and yelps of protest and began pumping their legs even harder and began running faster to the front gates and quickly headed inside and then reached the stretcher bed that was being pushed and had their master on it. Barking and yelping dangerously towards the people taking him away, shouting out and crying out why and where they are taking their master!

"Jolteon…Vaporeon." Leaf's voice echoed out, having the two girls stop barking and looking towards the girl, seeing tears forming around the corner of her eyes as she sniffed. "There's…there's something you need to know." She said and had the two Pokemon slumping their bodies and felt fear entering their soul as they watched the girl approach them and knelt down in front of them. As she began telling them what is going on and what's happening. Explaining to them where their master is being taken too, along with how he won't be back for a very long time. Watching the two Pokemon lowering their ears and quickly looking over towards the people taking their master and watching them move the stretcher up and inside the ambulance, as Vaporeon turned back to Leaf and began asking if their master is taking a vacation without them? Is he gonna forget them?

Then Jolteon turned and began asking how come they can't go where their master is going, or why the smelly people are preventing him from seeing the sunlight. It hurt Leaf greatly as she understood what they were saying and asking questions like a child would when seeing someone they love and adore being taken away. Making her grit her teeth and facing down towards the ground as tears began falling from her eyes. Making Vaporeon and Jolteon soften their expression and look at Leaf as Vaporeon then asks.

"Why is the sweet girl crying? did..we do something bad?"

"Did we hurt you, or…did the master hurt you?" Joolteon asked and saw Leaf take a deep gasp of breath and shake her head and began rubbing her eyes. Sniffing harder as she quietly said no. As she is not sure how to explain this to young Pokemon who won't understand it completely.

Jenny then approaches them and smiles down at Jolteon and Vaporeon, who turn their attention to her and then shift their gaze at the letter in her hand. "Jolteon, Vaporeon…you should hear this. This is the letter that your master told you to place on the Tv stand, remember?" She said and saw the two nodded their heads and quickly turned around and heard the doors closing to the ambulance truck and then back at Jenny. "Here..let me read it.

As she began reading the letter towards the two Pokemon. Robert and Ash alongside Pikachu and Eevee entered the front yard and approached everyone as Misty did too after coming out of the mansion with Nurse Joy behind her. All listening to the letter being read and relayed towards the two young Pokemon. Who sat down and twitching their ears and tilting their heads as thye listen to the police woman relay their masters final wishes in the letter. Feeling tears flowing down their faces and none stop, unable to understand exactly what or why they were crying. But as they listen to Jenny who is slightly choking up here and there, could feel the master's last wishes being poured into that letter. Making the two Pokemon start gritting their teeth and trying to control their breathing as they then felt ash and robert, crouching down and bringing the two Pokemon a hug and tried comforting them with their hat bills covering and shadowing their eyes as they too felt tears going down their cheeks.

Then the two Pokemon began crying and wailing out as they began thrashing and trying to break free from Robert and Ash's grip, listening to the letter and getting more and more depressed by the second as they wanted to be with their master, wanting to see if it was true. If he was truly gone and leaving this world without them! It was hard for the two teens to hold them and trying to keep them from breaking free of their grasps and holds, trying so hard to calm them down and making sure the two Pokemon wouldn't hurt themselves or tried attacking the ambulance truck from leaving the property.

The two Pokemon would then bury their faces into the boys chests and try everything to calm themselves down and just let out all the anguish and sadness from their bodies, as Jenny continued reading the letter. When she reached the part about Pokemon trainers to trust them with, Jolteon and Vaporeon while still crying and heaving into the boys chests. Twitched their ears and made sure to hear that part intently, realizing that their master thoughts and heart and kindness was on them, and seemed to always have been thinking about them even in his letter. Not once did it sound like he was talking about himself at all- if anything. It felt like a goodbye letter towards the two girls, rather than a letter of regret. Making the two Pokemon start calming down and listening to the rest of the letter. They slowly began pulling away from the boys, as Robert and Ash lifted their thumbs and wiped away the tears from their eyes and saw the Pokemon softly smiling towards them. Then looking towards Jenny as she continued and began finishing reading the letter towards the two Pokemon.

After she got done and the two Pokemon still trying to calm down and control their sniffles, they acth Nurse Joy approaching them and kneeling down to face them and smiles. "I am just gonna do a quick check up on you two and see how you're faring. Considering the condition the mansion is and how everything seemed to be spoiled and whatnot. I gotta make sure that the two of you are healthy." She said and saw the two Pokemon nod solemnly and felt Nurse Joy moving her stethoscope towards them and began listening to their breathing and heart rate, knowing that the two Pokemon will be high and fast with their rates. Considering they just cried not so long ago, after she got done with that. She grabbed some rubber gloves and began feeling and moving her hands around Jolteon's body who giggled and flinched and twitched slightly from the tickling sensations of the gloves, as she began sparking out some electricity and began snickering some more when Joy reached her ticklish spot. Making Joy smile and being glad that Joeon is quite healthy and doing well, "That's great! You are a healthy Pokemon. Especially with your electricity sparking out like that from your body. Tell me there is nothing wrong with ya."

She then moved to Vaporeon who was happily thumping her tail up and down, while then grinning and smiling happily as she felt Joy's gloved hands touching her and roaming over her body and such. Even feeling the fins around Vaporeon's neck and head, nodding and smiling as she could feel how smooth and soft they were, along with being nice and damp. Indicating that Vaporeon is also healthy and is receiving enough water to keep herself cool and slick. She then stretch dVaporeon mouth, having the Pokemon playfully stick her tongue out and lick at Joy's face. Earning some laughter from everyone, "Heh, you too are also a healthy Pokemon." Joy giggled out and let go of Vaporeon's mouth and stood up. "They are in the clear, it seems like them constantly leaving the mansion for food and water that they usually do with their routine keeps them well fed and healthy." She then turned to Jenny. "There's nothing to worry about. They are a-okay."

Ash chuckled as he placed a hand on Jolteon head, "Hear that! You're healthy and alright, we got worried considering how the place looks and all." Ash said and had Jolteon and Vaporeon humming and looking towards their home and flew their ears upwards with wide eyes and shock expression as they stared at one another and whispered out how did they miss that? Getting Leaf to giggle at the two Pokemon shock expressions.

"Heh, seems like they never really noticed their house condition and were blissfully ignorant about it." Laughed the brown hair girl. Watching the two eeveelutions look away sheepishly and scratching softly on their own chin. Earning some more laughter and chuckles from everyone. "Come on girls, let us show you what we mean." Leaf said and had Jolteon, Vaporeon and the boys to get up and begin following everyone into the mansion and checking out the place and see what they meant by how bad the place looked.

Hours went by after they went and showed Jolteon and Vaporeon the condition their home was in and what kind of mess they were living in. Having the two eeveelutions be completely shocked and gnarly throwing up at the horrible smells that the mansion was creating. Even seeing their favorite kitchen area being all moldy and caked with nasty looking spoiled food and vegetables, to even seeing their food and water bowl completely stuck and basically falling apart for how long they haven't been in use. They even took note of how the wallpaper of their home was falling apart, to even seeing broken glasses here and there, the rug tears everything!

This had the eeveelutions staring at one another after they had left and began heading to the Pokemon center, talking and chanting to one another of how long were they that ignorant about the place? Let alone, how they didn't even notice at all. We will then see them inside the Pokemon center sitting on the counter as Nurse Joy began doing a full check up on the girls, as Robert, Leaf, Misty, Ash and their Pokemon were on the video phone and began dialing to Professor Oak's lab.

"Hey Professor!" Ash said as Oak answered the call and saw the old man's happy and smiling face. "We're just about to leave the ports of Cinnabar island and return to Pallet town docks. How is everything?" He asked and everyone smiled when Oak grinned widely and nodded his head.

"Everything is going great over here Ash, we are all excited and eager to see everyone return. We got word from Jenny and Nurse Joy earlier about a situation you all ran into with a Jolteon and Vaporeon?" He asked and saw the group nodding their heads. "So, Mr Anton has passed away, has he?"

Robert hummed and then asked, "Professor, did you know him?"

"Know him? Hah, he was actually one of my travel companions when I was around your age everyone. He and I explored the entirety of Kanto in search of Pokemon and ways to help me produce and make the Pokedex. Anton is a close and valuable friend." He then sighed and softened his expression. "When he stopped responding to my mail and messages I got really worried about his health and safety. Even more so, with his two eeveelution Pokemon." The man chuckled and then lowered his shoulders, "The man sure loved his Pokemon so much that he wouldn't stop talking about them through our calls and emails." He smiled. "It was great really, I even got to speak to them once in a while.. How are they doing?"

Misty giggled and stepped back as Nurse Joy finished checking up on them and giggled, when the two Pokemon ears twitched and whipped their attention towards them and began running over. "Well you won't have to wait to find out, here they come." Misty giggled and laugh as the two Pokemon suddenly raised their upper bodies and placed their front paws onto the video phone desk. Making Ash an dPikachu chuckled, watching the two Pokemon barking at Oak and even waving hello to them.

"Wow, Jolteon, Vaporeon…or should I say." Oak then smiled. "Candice and Janette." He said and saw the two Pokemon beaming brightly and began happily bouncing up and down loving the nicknames their master had given them. Making Leaf hummed.

"Huh, I was wondering why Jolteon and Vaporeon referred to themselves with those names. So that's the nickname Anton gave them." The brown hair girl smiled and saw the two Pokemon looking at her and nodding their heads, then back to Oak.

"It's great seeing you girls are okay and healthy. I betcha it was heartbreaking to see your master go away," He asked and saw them softening their expression and nodding their heads. "Well fret not, knowing Anton he probably wrote in his goodbye letter for someone to go and find competent trainers to care for ya right?" He said and saw them back and gave big grinning smiles and wagging their tails. "Well have no fear," Oka then points towards Ash, Robert and Leaf. "You found yourselves three amazing trainers right here! I have no doubt they would gladly take care of ya."

"Flareon!" Came a Pokemon voice, making Jolteon and Vaporeon to blink their eyes and then getting super excited to see the fire mane eeveelution to appear and resting her paws on the tabletop of Oak's desk. "Flare! Flareon!"

"Hey Flareon, guess you wanted to see them too huh?" Ash said and saw her nodding and waving her paws to them. "Heh, then no worries Flareon. These two girls will no doubt be joining our party after we decide who gets to keep one of them." ash continued and Flareon giggled and wagged her tail excitedly, ready to meet new friends and such.

"Well then I should not keep you all then. Considering you also gotta get to the boat back to Pallet town. I will let you all decide who catches whom. And no worries, Anton did not catch them in a pokeball. You're able to catch them with no problems. Bye."

"Flareon!" The fire eeveelution said while waving bye to them and the phone hung up. The two eeveelutions then quickly moved away from the video phone and stood in the center of the Pokemon center lobby and grinned towards the group. Ash got up off the chair and started saying, "well then Robert, who will you want? No doubt."

"Go ahead and catch them, Ash," Robert suddenly said and pointed towards the two. Making the boy blink his eyes in confusion. Having Robert laughing and feeling Eevee leaping up onto his shoulders and smiling at Ash. "Trust me, what trainer ever gets the chance to not only have an eevee, but possibly ALL three of the kanto eeveelutions in their party." He added and had Ash smiling and then close one eye when he felt Pikachu hopping onto his shoulder and byzzle his cheek.

Misty nods, "Agreed! Leaf and I also figured Robert would say this when we read the letter," she laughed while looking at eevee. "Especially since Robert technically already has a Jolteon back at home. And his own eevee, to evolve into whoever he wants." Then back to Ash. "It make sense to allow you to have them."

Leaf then lifts a finger and smiles, "Not only that but with Flareon at Oaks lab and corral, the two will have no doubt amazing fun and excitement playing with your Pokemon." She giggled and folded her hands behind her back. "I know they would probably be with mine and Robert's Pokemon, but it feels right to let you catch them." She winks.

This had Ash chuckling and laughing, "wow guys thanks, and are you sure robert? You are- Ash began playfully saying and then saw leer at him.

"Finish that sentence and I will be sure to show what I so-called 'expert' eeveelution trainer exactly does to you when he's mad." Robert playfully taunted back and crossed his arms at Ash. Who laughed back at Robert nodding in understanding and at his joke, as he then opened his eyes and smiled at the eager female Pokemon, he then went grabbing two Pokeballs.

"Well then Candice, Janett welcome to the team!" He exclaimed and tossed the balls forward watching the two Pokemon happily yip and lunge towards the Pokeballs. Allowing them to be sucked inside and be immediately captured after the two Pokeballs landed onto the floor and shook only once, to then the red light disappearing indicating they were successfully caught. Ash approaches the two Pokeballs and picks them up from the floor.

"Alright," he then spun around and thrusted both Pokeballs forward with a huge big smile. "I caught Jolteon and Vaporeon!"

"P-pikachu!" Pikachu chanted while giving a peace sign.

And so another day another adventure happens for our heroes who come a long way from their journey. Running into Janette and Candice, a Vaporeon and Jolteon who were living in a mansion that was being run down and slowly decaying from not being cared for. All the while their owner, who had recently passed away, left a goodbye letter for his two Pokemon- telling anyone who ever finds the letter to bring them to a caring and loving Pokemon trainer. With Jolteon and Vaporeon adde do to his team, Ash and friends march forward and head towards one of the cruise ships that will take them back to Pallet town docks. Where there everyone can reunite with their loved ones and familie, to even rivals. As Ash only has one more badge to go and there is only one week left before the Pokemon league begins.

Will our hero be able to acquire the last gym badge, and what kind of perils awaits him at the Viridian city gym? Everything And all the questions will be answered…AS OUR HERO'S JOURNEY CONTINUES!
