Chapter 9:

Tinker, Debbie, and Mark look at the remains. Tinker then got a call and answers. "This ain't a good time," Tinker says, sadly.

"Tink?"

"Speed," asks Tinker.

"As soon as those goons used that remote to control make me roll over to them, I downloaded my mind into your phone," says Speed, "by the way, you really need to talk to that Brian boy…"

"Focus," says an embarrassed Tinker, "you're alive!"

"Well, in a sense, yes," says Speed, "but I would really rather be a car than a phone, so you mind making me a new brain?"

"Right," says Tinker. He hangs up. "There's a chance to save Speed!"

So, the three get to work on a new AI carburetor and Speed downloads himself into it. Mark places it into the body. "Happy Birthday," says Speed, "see what I did there?"

"Speedy, you're back," says Tinker. The three then hug him.

"Yeah, I'm feeling the love," says Speed.

"Good to see you," says Debbie. She then kisses Speed.

"Now, we gotta take down Beefinger," says Speed, "I want revenge!"

"He still has that remote," says Mark.

"Then we're going to have to take it from him," says Debbie, "here's the plan…"
