Chapter 25: Lady of love strikes.

Zoe's Pov

I am very happy with how the future has turned out, especially for women. They can read, write, own and even fight for themselves. And these future demigoddesses. Very independent. But some things never change. Like the son of Athena making pass at daughter of Poseidon. And thinking, she can't finish the quest on her own. Really what is he implying!

As we were finishing our breakfast, a bright light engulfed the area next to where future demigods were sitting. When it died down, some more demigods were standing. Great, more people. I thought thinking of our already large group. Then I noticed someone among the newcomers and my jaw dropped. Me. There, on one side of the group, I was standing. On further inspection, I realized it was my ghost. They all were. So, I died in the future. But how? The first one was obvious since the daughter of Zeus was the lieutenant in the future. How was something I wanted to know about?

Most of the Greek demigods looked like they had seen a ghost, which they have, but not the point. " Bia" Nico tackles giddily a girl who had his resemblance and hugs her tightly. Typical boy for disrupting. She laughs back. His father and half-sister look at him curiously.

"Before you start," The girl takes a piece of paper out of her clothes and hands it to Hades's son. He frowns for a second before reading.

Dear Gods and demigods of old and new,

The newcomers are also some of our heroes who died bravely in the wars Of the future.

The gods looked shocked at the mention of wars.

Oops. Did I say too much?

"Yeah!" The newer demigods deadpan at Lady Aphrodite.

Anyways. They are our dead heroes.

"No shit! Sherlock." Grover mutters. Many demigods and gods are looking at him curiously. When he realizes what he has said, his eyes grow big " Aaah I am thinking like Percy! " he moans holding his head. All of us including the dead heroes smile at that. That girl can be an excellent addition to our group.

You can touch them, and they can touch you thanks to Hades. Did I forget something? Nah. I don't care.

P. S. Hades here. You forgot the main PART dove-head. Do not, I say, do not harm them, in any condition or form. I am giving Percy this responsibility since I know how Nico feels about it.

Lord Hades looks confused but Nico looks relieved.

Lord Zeus clears his throat and commands, " Introduce yourself!" They nod and the soul-me comes forward, " I believe you know me. My name is Zoe Nightshade daughter of the Titan Atlas and former lieutenant of the huntresses of Artemis." My lady looked close to tears as she engulfed me in an embrace. I am surprised as all the gods look at us pitily.

Someone cough. Milady wipes her eyes hastily and turns around. A girl who was hugged by Lord Hades's son is standing in the front. " Hi, "She says shyly "My name is Bianca di Angelo, I am Nico di Angelo's elder sister, daughter of Hades and a huntress." She smiles at her brother. as lord Hades and Lady Persephone look shocked. Lord Hades himself was mostly faithful but to find out he has a daughter who was even granted partial immortality and yet she died must have hurt more.

The next person is a boy with buff muscles, " My name is Charles Beckendorf and I am a son of Hephaestus." Lord Hephaestus looks at him sadly, while his other son is looking at him in amazement.

Next to him, another pretty girl comes to stand, " Hi I am his girlfriend, Silena Beauregard, daughter of Aphrodite." She giggles. Typical daughter of Aphrodite. Their parents look at each other in horror while their living children are more than joyous to meet their dead siblings.

After them, a golden-haired boy comes forward " Hi I am Lee Fletcher, son of Apollo." Lord Apollo pales.

Lastly, a boy with a scar on his face comes forward and says, " Hi I am Luke Castellan, son of Hermes." Lord Hermes looks at him with a sad smile and Apollo pats him reassuringly. But the weird thing was that none of the future demigods were sad anymore. Instead, they all are glaring at him quite fiercely. "Can you stop that? You all must know that he is my son. You all have no right to be angry at him without any reason." Lord Hermes defends his son. Luke gives him a small smile and then goes to stand next to Charles.

"Where are Clarisse, Percy and Andrew?" Silena asks trying to reduce the tension. It works as Nico replies," They are in the training hall." Then he smirks and says, "We should call them and others. Oh, you can go and hide somewhere and when they come you can like scare them or something." The Stoll siblings and Chris nod. All the ghosts agree to it.

"Milady, I would like to say something!" I request standing up. " I think I should return to the hunt since we both have been gone for far too long." She nods reluctantly, not wishing me to go. I leave the gardens as they all go towards the throne room and Lady Hestia goes to summon them.

Throne room

Triton's pov

Everybody has taken their seats in the throne room as we wait for Aunt Hestia to bring my sister and her friends to come. The ghosts all hide behind Uncle Hades's throne since it is nearest to the door and not easily noticeable unless someone looks directly behind it. The demigods wait rather impatiently when Aunt comes in and stage whispers " They are here. Percy comes in first chatting with Zeus's son, that Roman Bellona's daughter and Ares's son. After her comes Athena's spawn with Apollo's son and Ares's daughter with Zeus's daughter.

As soon as they completely entered the room, Bianca tackled Percy shouting her name. She freezes, a weird smile on her lips. "Bia!" She quickly turns around and hugs her cousin, tears in her eyes. It melts my heart how much she cares about her family. Everyone is looking at them in surprise. "BIA!" Thalia also shout joining her cousins in the embrace. It's when all the other ghosts decide to come out. "SILENA""Lee" Clarisse shouts tackling the dead daughter of Aphrodite as the son of Apollo's living son does the same to his dead half-brother making them laugh. Jason, Reyna and Frank stand to a side watching the Greeks smile and mingle as Thalia, Percy and Andrew greet dead Zoe warmly.

That's new. I narrow my eyes at them. I have never seen Artemis's lieutenant warm up to any male specimen after Hercules. Yet I don't like him because of his close behavior with my baby sis. Andrew next fist bumps Charles as he points out to one ghost who hasn't come out of the hiding yet. I frown, remembering how he and others were behaving whenever Luke's name came in the book.

"I think you should come out, dude. " Charles calls out as everyone turns towards him. Luke enters the room when the temperature suddenly drops. Thalia and Clarisse look at him murderously. Andrew's face becomes blank and Will looks annoyed. Percy, who now has her arms around Silena, stiffens as Silena squeezes her hand. "Hi!" Luke says waving a hand. My sis releases a breath and hugs him. "Welcome back to the land of living." She gives him a small smile. Holding his hand she glares at others as if to say, whatever happened in the past he is still our hero. So don't make a scene. I know. I can read those words from her face as clearly as day. We are siblings after all. They all concede begrudgingly. Nico hands her the paper his sister gave him. She nods. "good. At least Uncle Hades is level-headed enough to not give you this task. Knowing you, you would rather throw some of them to Lupa. " smirks at Nico, eying Dead Zoe and Luke. He shrugs and agrees. "Sounds good to me too."

"Ok, we should start the reading again," Thalia says pulling Percy away from Luke and sitting down next to Andrew. Everyone else also takes their seats.

Lord Apollo takes the book and starts to read.

Much awaited entry. isn't it. Now back to the chapter. Also Umm, one comment on Athena being goddess of wisdom not knowledge. You are absolutely correct. But there is a saying of somekind in my culture that wisdom comes with true knowledge. soo. for me she is goddess of bothwisdom and knowledge while Apollo is god of knowledge. His is more of a divine kind. Not very wise kind of thing.
