Hello Everybody, I hope you all enjoyed the first Chapter, please leave a review if you liked it, and if you have any ideas and/or Criticism then I would like to hear it.
Chapter 2: A Strange Place
Chase opened his eyes.
"Were, ow, where the heck am I," Chase groaned with a paw on his hurting head.
Chase slowly got up and rubbed his head. He started to look around and then he saw the familiar sight of the Adventure Bay city hall. So he knew one thing, he was in Adventure Bay. But something was off, it was completely deserted.
"Hello!" Chase called out. "anyone, weird, were is everybody, Skye, Marshal where are you guys at," Chase shouted.
Chase was greeted only by silence. He started to feel a little creeped out. Then he heard a low, guttural growl. Chase's paw immediately went to his sidearm. He looked around.
"Hello, who's Their!" Chase asked.
But then Chase spotted Marshals Red Fire hat from the shadows of the ally way. Chase relaxed his paw, holstering his sidearm.
"Oh Marshal, I was worried that I was the only one here." Chase said.
Marshal didn't respond.
"Uh, Marshal?" Chase said confused.
Marshal, slowly came out of the shadows. But something was wrong with him.
"Marshal, What on earth happened to you," Chase said with horror.
Marshal's fur, was covered in dried blood. Some of his ribs were exposed due to a gaping hole in his side. Green slime oozed from his wound. His eyes were no longer the lively blue color they used to be. No they were a dark, dead-like yellow.
Marshal grinned with an evil, dead grin. His teeth were sharp and jagged with venom and saliva dripping from his mouth. He started towards Chase, slowly with a partial limp. Chase started backing away in fear.
"Marshal, stop it your scarring me," Chase said.
Marshal growled again, sending a cold shiver down Chase's spine.
"I said stop it, your freaking me out, Marshal this isn't funny," Chase said still backing away.
Suddenly Chase trips over a rock. He fell down on his back and the Marshal creature rose above him, jaws dripping with saliva and venom.
"MARSHAL, STOP, AHHH," Chase screamed closing his eyes.
Suddenly Chase heard a sharp yip. "Yip, yip, wings." And the next thing he knew was he was flying across the sky hanging from his back legs. The creepy Marshal creature slowly getting farther and farther away. Chase looked up and saw Skye carrying him.
"Skye, oh am I happy to see you," Chase said.
"Save it, we've got to get some place safe first," Skye said.
Chase shut his mouth. Some how he knew this wasn't the time for chit Chat. As they flew over the town, Chase looked down. He no longer saw a town he recognized. Everyone he had once known were all the same. Dead, slow and hungry for Blood. The whole town was infected.
Skye flew all the way to Jake's Mountain. Jack's cabin was surrounded in an electric fence. Skye landed inside and Everest and Jack walked out. They were both very shocked to see Chase.
"Chase, what's going on here," Everest asked.
"Alright, start talking, how are you alive, who cured you," Skye asked.
"What are you talking about, you just saved me, and cured from what?" Chase said.
"Chase somebody had to have cured you, who was it?"Skye asked.
"I have no idea what your talking about. I want to know what happened to my friends and the town back their." Chase said.
"Chase, How are you alive,"
"I said I don't know what you're talking about," Chase said angrily.
"Chase, I watched you die!" Skye said her voice nearly breaking.
