"Jinkies!" Velma exclaimed. "Hey, gang, I got accepted to MIT."
"What will you study?" Daphne asked.
"Engineering," Velma replied.
"I got accepted to NYU's fashion school," Daphne added.
"I'm going to NYU as well," Fred replied. "I got a football scholarship."
"I decided to attend culinary school, and Scooby wants to be a guide dog," Shaggy announced. "Looks like we are all going to college."
Velma started her engineering program and was determined to build a robot that can haul an 18-wheeler truck. She tested the robot on a car first.
Daphne started her fashion program and had a final project for one class - clothes she's modeling in a fashion show. She knitted a purple turtleneck sweater to appeal to Velma, a silk ascot to appeal to Fred, and bell-bottom jeans to appeal to Shaggy. She took a selfie and sent it to the rest of the gang, who loved it.
Fred is getting wooed by the head cheerleader who he later learned stripped in a club to pay rent.
"Zoinks!" Shaggy exclaimed as his dorm's ghost gave him a wedgie and pulled pants down on a fellow student to reveal boxers. "We have to do something to combat the ghost."
"How?" Shaggy's roommate asked.
"I can facetime Velma or Daphne to see if she knows anything. Velma's really smart, and Daphne is into the occult."
A quick call later, and Shaggy gave a list of herbs for his roommate to buy. He went to a local Walmart and got a mason jar, a cheesecloth, and a gold cross necklace; then he went to a local church and had the mason jar filled with holy water. He doused the cross in holy water; he placed the lavender and mint his roommate paid for in the cheesecloth and tied it up. He placed the cross and the bag against the wall in the hallway, and the ghost screamed as it was exorcized.
All of Shaggy's dorm mates on his floor rushed out of their room to congratulate Shaggy on getting rid of the ghost. He smiled as his dorm mates carried him to upper floors.
Author's Notes: This story makes a reference to a Numb3rs episode, where geeks - a math professor and a physics professor - used a robot to attempt to pull a 1930's car 6 feet forward.
