Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Superman. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Superman and such; DC and others do.
His body felt pain… He would not be enough as he wished it to end now at the time.
He groaned, slowly pushing himself to his feet, only to fall over. There was an agony that ripped through him, one that would not die and would not relent in cutting through him at the end of the day.
He felt pain as paramedics seemed to be swarming the area, checking everything, and there would not be enough… He would not be surviving at the end of the day.
It scared Mason, and it truly scared Mason once again.
He watched as they walked towards him, dozens of them busy trying to dig people out of the wreckage… They moved like ants, shoveling rubble to the side.
It would not be enough now for him to survive, not while his family lay dying….
(10 minutes later)
He was dead…. Not Mason, no… Fate seemed to have plans for him… But for the Man of Steel? It seemed he had met his fate, dead at the hands of the monster known across Earth now as Doomsday.
It was the monster who had finally slain Superman, the champion of hope.
And that fate would sadden Mason… Even as the battle seemed to have mutated him.
(10 years later)
The S.T.A.R. lab agents all paused, looking at the tube with interest. They would not relent, and they would not back down… All of them were unsure of what they were dealing with for now.
It was clear who they were dealing with… A boy who had been corrupted into the being before them. A man who had the power of a fission reactor and all the danger of it.
They were too much… He was too thrown off…. But he was a boy who had suffered a LOT since he was a kid, and now?
Something like this was too much. It hurt every member of S.T.A.R. Labs to know a child had suffered so badly and was now reduced to what they were now.
There was movement inside the tube as the boy blinked.
He slowly turned and took a deep breath through his mouth. Then, the explosion occurred and threw everyone away from the tube.
He was a metahuman, and he would soon be unleashed upon Metropolis.
He was tired and done. He had work left to do now on this mortal coil.
"Find it! Find him and the other subject!" He heard as he paused.
"Find him! Tear the entire place apart!" He heard as he paused, panicked.
The man grunted as he slowly began to glow with energy. He would not be able to think of anything soon.
Not before a burst of light came in. One that threw him off his feet and across the room.
"Got her! We got Livewire!" He heard.
The pain inside him had not even slightly faded once more as they came crashing down once more. He had been too distracted… He was too relaxed.
"Hmm…" They heard as he paused to try and think of it. "Find him!" He heard.
"Find him and her… Million dollars for whoever finds her." He heard as he paused to try and figure it out. "Find him, tear this apart." He heard now.
He had been too much as he wished it…
And he felt scared with each second as he tried to get up.
"What about the big man?" He heard as he paused to try and think of it all too much. "Hmm? We both know he will come." He heard.
"Boss said these guns will take care of him… Are you doubting him? You find the light bulb. She is worth all the cash you want… You can buy whatever you want soon." He heard as he paused to try and think of it all too much. "Find him, kill everyone else." He heard for now as he rushed backward.
He had been too much. Livewire? She was someone he knew about… Was she here?
He had been too scared; he was very much too scared… Something inside him had been enough, and he had been enough for them to run off as he paused.
He would be terrified. He was terrified once more as he tried to run, unsure of what he would do now.

Phew. The first chapter is done! The next chapter will be delayed. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words in 2-10 months.
