KH Infinity outline
Huntington1998 here with yet another Kingdom Hearts project. This one would have been bigger than Soul Kingdom by a pretty significant margin. The idea was to follow the MCU Infinity Saga while having an original Kingdom Hearts plot going alongside it. I wasn't going to change the MCU plot too much, similar to how the Final Fantasy 7 remake didn't change the original plot but still had those new meta plot elements. It would have been so big that I called it "too ambitious" when mentioning the idea to family. But I at least wanted to put some of my ideas down…
This story would have taken place in a timeline where Sora didn't disappear at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3. I actually had this idea before KH3 released, so I kept anything related to the ending vague. I was going to frame this story as Sora retaking his Mark of Mastery Exam, this test involving him and his friends spending a long time on one world. Eventually they get false memories, because they're becoming a part of the Marvel world. Fighting those would have become a big plot point. The prologue, Spies Like Me, would set up that Yen Sid made a deal with Nick Fury. Something about keeping watch over his 'future pupils'. The briefcase containing the Space Stone would have come under attack shortly before Sora arrived, and that would have been the tutorial. The Guardians of Light get teleported to the Marvel Universe, each of them being deposited near different characters. Sora, Donald, and Goofy wake up in New York (again, separated from Riku, Kairi, and the others), meet Nick Fury, become S.H.I.E.L.D agents, and are tasked with looking after Tony Stark and recruiting him to the Avengers Initiative. And then we go into Iron Man 1. I'm not going to spoil the MCU movies if you haven't seen them, just so you know. Each section follows one of the movies pretty closely with Kingdom Hearts references added in throughout. After Iron Man 1 is The Incredible Hulk, where we check in with Riku, Mickey, and surprisingly, Pete. (He's trying to mend his ways.) Sora makes an appearance as one of the people trying to apprehend Bruce Banner/Hulk. Hulk would be Chapters 6-10, in case you're wondering. And here's what I have written down on the topic:
Issue 6: Fury and Riku meet the Hulk
Playable Character: Riku
Assistant Characters: Mickey, Pete, Fury
Boss: The Hulk
Riku is assigned his first mission under Director Fury: Find Bruce Banner.
Issue 7: Hulk Smash
Playable Character: Sora
Assistant Characters: Donald, Goofy
Boss: The Hulk
Sora, Donald, and Goofy are assigned to Rio and find Bruce Banner, only to be interrupted by Thaddeus Ross. (Note: This would be a Mark Ruffalo inspired Hulk, to keep things consistent with future chapters.)
Issue 8: Culver in Peril
Playable Character: Sora
Assistant Characters: Donald, Goofy, The Hulk
Boss: Emile Blonsky
On his next assignment, Sora must make sure that Bruce Banner comes under S.H.I.E.L.D. custody and make sure that Thaddeus Ross does not interfere again. In the middle of the battle, Hulk teams up with Sora and co. to defeat Blonsky.
Issue 9: The Abomination
Playable Character: Sora
Assistant Characters: Donald, Goofy, The Hulk
Boss: The Abomination
When Sora is assigned to help subdue the Abomination, the Hulk enters and lends a hand.
Issue 10: Riku Meets Black Widow
Playable Character: Riku
Assistant Characters: Mickey, Pete, Black Widow
Boss: The Leader
Assigned to do a cleanup job from the Abomination's attack, Riku meets up with Black Widow and confronts the Leader.
Impressed, Nick Fury promotes Riku, Pete and Mickey to be taken under the wing of Phil Coulson. This leads into Iron Man 2, where Sora, Donald and Goofy find Tony Stark stressed and so, they try their best to help him as Riku and Black Widow try to go after the Ten Rings. After that section is done, we head to Thor 1, where Namine, Launchpad McQuack and Webby wake up in Asgard and become Odin's soldiers.
Being mistaken for Einherjar guards, they instantly develop a friendship with Thor, Sif and the Warriors Three. After training with them, leading to Namine being chosen by the Keyblade, they agree to help them fight Laufy after the vault has been raided by frost giants. And after that, the MCU one shot, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer. And then we finish up Thor. A Sora-Namine reunion doesn't happen just yet… we do meet Loki for the first time here, and he's integrated into the KH plot in a clever way in future appearances. Chapters 24-27 are related to Captain America: The First Avenger, during which Kairi, Minnie and Scrooge McDuck wake up in the past of the Marvel World (Time Stone craziness? Undecided.) and join the war against Hydra. They may be separated, but Kairi eventually sends a message to Sora this way. I was also going to sneak in some Winter Soldier foreshadowing here.
And then we head to Avengers 1. Sora, Donald and Goofy attempt to neutralize Loki as Riku and War Machine attack the Ten Rings. I was going to have a direct reference to Kate Bishop watching the Battle of New York as well. I was keeping my options open for if I ever did a sequel project with the MCU Multiverse Saga. Phase 2 would have added even more original KH content. Heading into Iron Man 3, Sora, Donald and Goofy begin to forget why Yen Sid put them on this world in the first place, and a dangerous virus, Extremis, begins to spread in thugs and criminals. After Iron Man 3 is where things were going to get a little complicated from a writing standpoint. I have not seen Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I was going to find a way to make the Marvel TV stuff, including the Netflix series, work with the movies. These chapters make me glad I didn't actually write this project, because doing the TV shows would increase writing time significantly. Most of the Agents/Netflix stuff in this outline came from a quick skim of the wiki…
In the second part of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 1, post Thor the Dark World, Riku starts to have feelings for Skye and gets competitive with Grant Ward, which was not a part of Yen-Sid's plan,
Pete vows to defend Riku and Mickey, his new friends, for allowing him to get a second chance, and
Loki, disguised as Odin, is interested in Namine's Keyblade. Here's my note for Chapter 58.
Issue 58: Yes Men
Playable Character: Riku
Assistant Characters: Mickey, Pete, Malinda Mae, Lady Sif
Boss: Lorelei
After a mysterious Asgardian woman named Lorelei starts seducing men for her personal army, Riku, Coulson and co are greeted by Lady Sif who requests assistance in capturing her. It Is revealed that Lady Sif fought alongside Namine, but could not tag along, because "Odin" wishes to see her. It is revealed that Loki, disguised as Odin, wants to see her Keyblade and wants to know how to obtain one, disguising it as being for the defense of Asgard.
This was going to be inspired by Albedo's attempts to recreate the Omnitrix in Ben 10. Translation: there are some…imperfections.
In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Sora, Donald and Goofy start to gain false memories. Sora thinks he is a resident of New York, Goofy thinks he was a hot dog vendor and Donald thinks he was a famous reality TV show street magician.
- Sora forgets Kairi.
- Hydra has invaded S.H.I.E.L.D.
-Vanitas is revealed to be alive and has joined Hydra.
- The Riku Replica has joined Baron Von Strucker.
- Roxas, Gadget, Monterary Jack and Zipper team up with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.
Here's my note for, Chapter 62, The Museum. Sora and co join Steve Rodgers at the Smithsonian exhibit. While Sora looks around to witness the history of Captain America, he sees a glimpse of a girl that almost resembles Kairi in an old propaganda film. Steve remembers and is now wondering whether or not to tell Sora that she was in the past. Steve visits an aged Peggy Carter, who whispers in his ear, before he leaves, "Don't tell Sora about Kairi." Steve agrees. At the end of the Winter Soldier section, after the big battle, amid the wreckage, Vanitas reveals himself. After Sora questions why he is here in this world, Vanitas replies that he now works for his new team and before he fights Sora, he exclaims "Hail Hydra!" Season 1 Part 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. opens in the chaos of Hydra's hostile takeover.
Upon discovering Hydra's takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D., Riku, Coulson and his team find themselves without anyone they can trust, only to discover that they are trapped with a traitor in their midst. In Chapter 76: Nothing Personal, when Skye is kidnapped and Ward is revealed to be Hydra, Riku and Coulson take it upon themselves to save her. This causes a showdown between Deathlok and the team. Finally, Agent Coulson's T.A.H.I.T.I. secret is revealed. At the end of this section, Chapter 78, upon discovering the base of Cybertek and the Centipede/Deathlok project, Riku, Coulson and co. make their way to stop the now over-powered John Garrett and his mad plans to unleash the Deathlok Soldiers unto the world. In the end, Riku gives Deathlok hope in finding his "light" and is reassured by Nick Fury that "Sora is a-ok." On top of that, Raina tells a mysterious man that she found his daughter, Skye, and gives him her photo. While everyone is asleep, Agent Coulson starts reenacting the strange habits that John Garrett was displaying, by writing alien equations on the walls. We would leave Riku's team there for now and go and see if Lea is awake yet. Yes, yes he is, and he's teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. By now, you should know the drill. Lea and the others begin to gain false memories. Lea thinks that he is a pilot from California, Daisy thinks she was his assistant pilot and Huey, Dewey and Louie think they snuck on their ship during the accident that brought them into space. Lea hears a description of a man named Thanos and is interested, because he remembers seeing someone that resembles him before Sora and the rest of the gang were teleported out of Yen Sid's tower. Cue Infinity Stone explanation. In Season 2 Part 1 for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Riku, Mickey and Pete's feelings toward their teamates grow stronger, which worries Yen Sid further.
Vanitas and the Riku Replica, claiming to be Hydra Agents, begin to fight and taunt Riku, Riku begins to worry Sora may think he is with Hydra.
And Skye gives Riku her blood to save his life, resulting in him carving the mysterious words and gaining new powers. Riku is given wings, one angel wing and one bat wing, from the diviner.
And after that I was going to be adapting Season 1 of Agent Carter, which, again, I haven't seen but was planning on watching for the first time for this story.
Yensid worries about Riku turning Inhuman and emphasizes that the Keyblade warriors and their protectors (Goofy, Mickey, etc) are taking a test, and he states that even Kairi in the past is failing the test.
- Howard Stark enlists Kairi, Minnie, Scrooge and Peggy to go undercover and teams them up with Edwin Jarvis.
- Whenever Scrooge comes across a relic, he wants to keep It, even if It's dangerous.
- Young Xehanort goes into the past to make sure that Kairi and her friends stay there and away from Sora, Riku and the rest.
Edwin reveals at the end of the chapter, after seeing Kairi's Keyblade, that Howard Stark is trying to replicate the Keyblade, leaving Kairi in shock. The issue ends with the Young Xehanort Clone looking down at Kairi and Yensid revealing that the warriors of the Keyblade are failing a test and that "the adaptation has begun."

After that section, Aqua finally wakes up in New York, and we head to the Daredevil adaptation. Again, never seen the show myself and would need to at some point for this project. Daredevil may be the single longest section in my notes, so here's the summary.
Aqua, Max Goof, and P.J. are woken up by Nurse Claire Temple at Father Lantom's church after being in what he calls a two year coma.
- Ben Urich claims to know Aqua and states that they work for him as news reporters
- Matt Murdock (Daredevil) senses the light in Aqua and her friends and asks them to be his eyes.
- The Kingpin is manufacturing equipment that can help people control the mysterious soldiers, customers including Daniel Whitehall, Robert Gonzales and Ulysses Klau.
- New gameplay function, Convince Challenge, is introduced where you choose what to say to get the person on your side.
- To keep a fairly E 10 rating, any theme of drugs and prostitution is replaced with Mysterious Soldiers manufacturing.
After that's done, we switch back to Riku for more Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Chapter 2 of this section would have some more original KH stuff, so I'll put the first 2 chapters of this section down here.
Riku is unable to control his new inhuman powers, much like Skye.
- Mickey and Pete worry about Riku, due to his ever growing thirst for revenge from Raina's selfishness, losing his friend Tripp and causing Skye to become distraught.
- Replica plans to gain similar powers such as Riku.
- Coulson makes it his sworn duty to make sure Riku is taken care of, feeling that it was his fault that he was given such powers.
- Issue 119: Aftershocks
Playable Character: Riku
Boss: Raina
Riku runs into the main hall of the kree city chamber and battles a confused Raina out of revenge. Coulson, and the rest of the team must deal with the consequences of their war with HYDRA as shocking revelations threaten to tear them apart, and HYDRA makes a dangerous move that may involve a traitor in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s midst. Plus, Skye's and Riku's powers make them both unstable which worries both Pete and Mickey. Riku is at the S.H.I.E.L.D. training facility where he is secretly learning to control his powers. Riku, then, vows to take vengence on Raina for what she did to Tripplet. Meanwhile, Replica takes interest Riku's new inhuman power and decides to gain some of his own. Riku and Fitz tries to comfort Skye due to her being stressed from her new powers.
- Issue 120: Who You Really Are

Boss: Vin-Tak
Riku, Coulson and his team come to the aid of a confused Lady Sif, who has lost her memory after fighting with a mysterious warrior whose true mission will send shockwaves through S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile, Bobbi and Mack continue to hide their true mission from everyone close to them. Meanwhile, Riku Is still on the hunt for Raina for vengeance after what she did to Tripplet. The Kree visitor, known as Vin-tak, reveals that the Kree knew about the Keyblade, the Keyblade War, and the door to the light and were praised, so they were another exception to Terringenesis. After finding out about their new powers, Coulson, Pete and Mickey are worried about Riku's anger and Skye's efdects on the team. Also, Skye Is worried the their new powers may destroy themselves and all of their friends. Meanwhile, Namine comes to Sif when she returns to Asgard and is acting weird with Odin constantly on her side.
Chapter 122 is another gameplay milestone, so into the outline go my notes.
Issue 122: Love In the Time of HYDRA
Playable Character: Riku
Assistant Characters: Skye

The head of the new S.H.I.E.L.D. reveal their new weapon, the mysterious warriors. As a result of Riku calling off a possible relationship with Skye, his powers become out of control. Meanwhile, Vanitas exclaims that he is unable to help Replica, because he must oversee operations with Baron Von Strucker. As a result, Replica decides to find Riku's enemy, Raina, to strike a deal. When Riku and Skye are dropped off at the cabin, this is the first time you will play as both Mickey and Riku.
And to be honest, not much happens on the KH side of things after Chapter 121, so let's move forward to Age of Ultron, where:
Sora is still fighting the false memories along with Donald and Goofy.

- In the end, Sora passes the test remembering who he truly is and is reunited wIth Roxas.
- Kairi shows up and saves Sora and Roxas from a lone mysterious soldier, un-aged, saying that she waited for him for nearly 70 years.
In Chapter 132, just before the first fight with Ultron, Scarlet Witch shows the deepest fears in all the Avengers, but when she taps into Sora's memory, she finds out that he is from another world when she sees Kingdom Hearts destroyed, all the worlds he traveled crumble into darkness and his friends' hearts leave their bodies and turn into heartless. After the battle is finished, Sora and Roxas remember the test that Yensid gave them: explore a world for a month, as they have never spent a long time on a world before. They remember Yensid's warning, they must strengthen their memories, because if they stay on a world for too long, they will adapt to that world and become a part of it, thus explaining why their memories were being altered, as well as the Avengers memories toward them. - Issue 147: Welcome to Attilan
Playable Character: Xion
Assistant Characters: Oswalt, Ortensia, Black Bolt, Medusa.
Boss: Alien Mysterious Soldier
The beast enters King Black Bolt's home, however, Xion, Oswalt, Ortensia and the rest of the Inhuman Royal Family intervene. It looks like that the Mysterious Soldier will win, but Black Bolt and Medusa comes in and helps to fight off the monster. At the end, Black Bolt whispers a single word in the creature's ear, causing it to explode. Medusa explains that Black Bolt is usually silent, due to his words having devastating powers. There they are introduced to Maximus, Black Bolt's brother. Meanwhile, at Thanos' palace, Vanitas tells the Mad Titan that he believes that Sora, Riku and the rest are getting help from outside their universe, promoting Thanos to stop any further interference between Yensid and the good faries from watching their plan unfold. He also tells Thanos about his distrust with Replica gaining Inhuman Powers and desires some of his own.
Ant-Man is only partially done. I told myself I would get back to outlining this story when Infinity War Part 2 (what we now call Avengers: Endgame) released and I had a full picture of Phase 3. To put it simply, I never did. Here's my summary for Ant Man:
Yen-Sid loses his connection to the Marvel Universe.
- He hires Ludwing Von Drake and Doofus to help connect him back to that universe, they find a news station.
- Hank Pym remembers his time working with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the 60's and fighting with Kairi.
- Ventus helps Scott Lang to become the new Ant-Man, because it "needs to happen."
- Ventus states he has seen what he needs to do.
And after that, we would head into Phase 3. I have barely anything written down. But I can say, after Endgame would be 2 original chapters. I remember they were titled, "Relocated to Traverse Town,"and "The Keybearers vs. Thanos". I don't think I had anything down for those two beyond the names, but just off the top of my head I can easily imagine a Heartless invasion at the end of Endgame and the team fighting to get back to the Marvel Universe. Cue final battle. After that, a possible Dr. Doom teaser, (referring to Avengers Doomsday. It was going to be a Kang teaser, but MCU fans probably know why that was changed. Just in case I wanted to adapt Phase 4, I was going to things slightly open. But given how long this project would have been going at the time I was writing the final chapter, I probably wouldn't have gone all in on a sequel story.)
And that's the outline of Kingdom Hearts Infinity. Man, this took forever to write, and it makes me glad I'm not actually writing this story. A little heads up for my followers on this site. I'm dealing with some real world chaos at the moment, and until things calm down, I don't know how much time I will have to write. Just knowI'm still thinking about potential projects. If you made it all the way to the end of this outline, congratulations. I didn't intend for it to be this long, and my fingers are sore from typing. Anyway, I'll (hopefully) talk soon.
