Chapter 3:
All over Dogpatch, everyone was going nuts about Captain Mentor. "He's so dreamy," says Daisy Mae, "if I wasn't tryin' to get Lil' Abner to marry me, I'd go for him!"
"He's alright in my book," says Moonbeam McSwine.
"We sure are lucky he's here," says Joe Btfsplk.
"Captain Mentor is just what this town needs," says Senator Jack S. Phogbound.
...
Nita and Mickey were working on the comic. "Where's Billy Joe," asks Nita.
Billy Joe arrives, dressed like Captain Mentor. "What do ya think," asks Billy Joe.
"Weren't you gonna help us," asks Nita.
"Making a Shmoo comic was your idea," says Mickey.
"Alright," says Billy Joe, "I knew I was forgettin' somethin'! Sorry, Guys!"
"Well, if you're done fanboying over Captain Mentor, we have work to do," says Nita, "so, come on!"
"Right, sorry," says Billy Joe. Then the news revealed energy robbers from space have arrived. "Captain Mentor might come to stop them! I gotta see this!" He then runs out again.
Nita and Mickey were annoyed and Shmoo was sad.
