Hey chapter 5 is here so get ready because in this chapter Goh gets his partner bakugan.I do not own Pokémon or Bakugan
In the forest area of safari island Fabia and Shun were still looking for Stoica and Lena unaware the Ash was in the middle of a battle with them. They search various areas of the forest with help from their Pokémon as Fabia asked Shun a question.
" Did you see them?" Fabia asked as Shun was jumping down from a tree.
"No nothing." Shun answered as their Pokémon came up.
"What about you two?" Fabia asked.
"Far." Farfetch'd said as he shook his head. (A/n:just so you guys and girls know that Shun's farfetch'd is a Kanto version.)
"Kyu." Mimikyu said as it looked like it was about to cry but Fabia picked her up.
"Don't cry Mimikyu, you did your best, that's all I could ask." Fabia said as she gave Mimikyu some kisses as Aranaut came up.
"This place is huge. I hope Ash,Leonidas,Pikachu and Goh are having better luck than we are?" Aranaut said.
"If they are then Ash is probably in a battle with them." Shun said.
"Then we should call them." Fabia said as she took out her Rotom phone.
Just when she was about to call Ash a girl with a green bandana with brown hair in pigtails came up. she was wearing an orange sleeveless shirt, blue shorts, black shoes, black and white gloves and blue eyes.
"Excuse me." The girl said as Fabia and Shun turned and saw her.
"Can we help you?" Fabia asked.
"I couldn't help but overhear but are you talking about Ash Ketchum by chance?" The girl asked.
"How is that any of your business?" Shun asked with a serious look on his face.
"Well, I'm a friend of his." The girl said.
"And what is your name then?" Fabia asked.
"Oh right, forgot about that, well my name is May Maple." The now-named girl said.
"I'm Shun." Shun said.
"And I'm Fabia. So May what is your relationship with Ash cousin friend ex-girlfriend?" Fabia asked, feeling a little jealous.
"We're friends that traveled together in hoenn and Kanto." May said making Fabia a little better.
"So, you two didn't date?" Fabia said as May shook her head.
"No and not like we could thanks to his mom." May said.
"Yeah, she seems a little too controlling." Fabia said.
"A little?" May said.
Both Fabia and May giggled but just then everyone's Rotom phones went off with a message said that there are some unknown Pokémon on the island and the people in charge recommended that all trainers leave the island for their safety as a pitcher of Leonidas facing off against Phosphos and Lythirus.
"Looks like Ash and Goh found Lena." Shun said.
"We have to get to them." Fabia said.
"And buy the look in the photo Leonidas is outnumbered." Aranaut said.
"Is Ash in trouble?" May asked as Fabia and Shun forgot she was there.
"Yes, he is but don't worry me and Fabia will go and help him." Shun said.
Shun then took out the Poke ball that had dragonite in then tossed it up as it opened, and the dragon type came out.
"Braw?" Dragonite said confused at not seeing its trainer but instead Fabia and Shun.
"Hey Dragonite I know you must be confused but believe me when I say that me and Shun are friends with Ash." Fabia said.
Dragonite looked at Fabia for a second and believed her and then gave her his classic tight dragonite hug.
"Braw!" Dragonite said as he hugged Fabia.
"Ok so can you take us to where Ash is now." Fabia said as May spoke.
"Hold on, I'm coming with you." May said.
"It's going to be dangerous." Fabia said.
"Don't worry I've been in more dangerous situations when I was traveling with Ash." May said.
"Ok but how is Dragonite going to carry all of us? I mean it looks strong, but I don't think he can carry all of us on his back?" Shun said.
"Braw!" Dragonite said having an idea.
"I think Dragonite has an idea." Aranaut said as May was confused after hearing him.
"Uh did that toy just talk?" May asked.
"I'll explain on the way." Fabia said.
Fabia, May and Shun were now flying in the air with Fabia and May were on his back while Shun was being carried bridal style. The girls were enjoying the wind in their hair while Shun was not happy with being carried like this as he mumbled saying that they will never speak of this to anyone.
(With Ash and Goh)
Back with Ash and Goh Leonidas was in the middle of his and Ash's battle with Phosphos and Lythirus. The dragon was having trouble especially with Stoica about to activate an Ability.
"Ability activate Acid bubbles!" Stoica said as Lythirus sprayed white bubble foam at Leonidas.
"It burns!" Leonidas said in pain as Lena was next to activate an Ability.
"Ability activate spit poison!" Lena said as Phosphos shot poison as Leonidas.
Leonidas pl: 1100-300=800
"Hang on, Leonidas! Ability activate…" Ash was about to say but Stoica stopped him.
"Sorry it's not happening! Ability activate Eel weakness!" Stoica said as Lythius's eyes glowed, stopping Leonidas's ability.
"What just happened?" Ash asked.
"Eel weakness is an ability that stops an opponent's ability and keeps them from using anymore for this battle." Stoica said as Goh spoke.
"It was bad enough that this battle became a two on one. But now with Leonidas's abilities stopped there is no way he could win." Goh said as Lena complimented him.
"Not only are you cute but smart as well." Lena said as Goh blushed and went gaga.
"She called me cute." Goh said as Lena used an ability.
"Ability activate Gorgon viper!" Lena said as more heads appeared and shot more poison at Leonidas.
Leonidas pl: 800-500=300
As Leonidas got weaker Ash just stood there and watched as if there was nothing, he could do but use his gate card and hope for the best.
"Gate card open Pryus reactor!" Ash shouted as flames shrouded the 3 bakugan with Leonidas getting stronger.
Leonidas pl: 300+300=600
"Like that will help. Ability activate Megalo Thereia!" Stoica said.
Lythirus fired blue energy from its claws at Leonidas hitting the then returned to ball form and went back to Ash as Lythirus and Phosphos did the same.
Ash LG: 60%
"You ok Leonidas?" Ash asked partner.
"I'm fine but I hate poison." Leonidas said as Goh, Pikachu and Grookey came up.
"How's Leonidas?" Goh asked.
"He's fine." Ash said.
"This is so unfair it's two against one." Goh said as he tightened his fist as Pikachu and Grookey agreed with him.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Groo!" Grookey said.
"Me and Leonidas will just have to find a way to beat them." Ash said as he saw Stoica set the next gate card.
They all rolled out their bakugan again as they started to battle. As the battle went on Goh just watched helplessly as he wished that he could help Ash but without a bakugan partner of his he could do nothing but watch.
"I need a way to help Ash." Goh whispered as a mysterious voice spoke.
"Why?" The mysterious voice asked.
All of a sudden Goh somehow found himself at the shrine of the island. As he looked around, he noticed a tall woman in a black kimono with purple spider lilies with purple hair tied into a bun with a hair pin and wearing a purple fox mask.
"Who are you and how did I get here?" Goh asked he couldn't see it, but the lady frowned behind her mask.
"It's rude to answer a question with a question." the mask lady said.
"What question?" Goh asked.
"Why do you want to help your friend?" The mask lady asked.
"Because he and his bakugan partner Leonidas are outnumbered!" Goh said as he realized something.
"Oh man, Ash I have to get back to him." As Goh was about to hurry back but was stopped to buy the mask lady.
"You are still there." The mask lady said, confusing Goh.
"What do you mean that I'm still there and again who are you and your name?!" Goh shouted.
"I am the spirit of the shrine of the safari island and as for my name for now call me spirit." Spirit said.
"Ok Spirit but that still doesn't explain how I'm here and still with Ash?" Goh said.
"Because I brought you consciousness to a plan of extensions so we could talk." Spirit said.
"To talk why?" Goh asked
"I want to know why you want to help your friend." Spirit said.
"I already told you." Goh said.
"I'm sorry I should have been more clearer. Why do you want to help your friend stop Gundalia?" Spirit said as Goh answered.
" Because he is my friend and needs help." Goh said.
"I see." Spirit said as she created a purple willow wisp.
"What's that?" Goh asked.
"What you need to help your friend." Spirit said.
Goh walked up to the wisp and reached out for it but the flame grew bigger. Goh immediately pulled his hand back.
"What gives?" Goh said as Spirit chuckled.
"I didn't say that it would let you just take it." Spirit said as Goh got angry.
"This is not funny, I need to help Ash." Goh shouted.
"I guess you should just give up then." Spirit said.
"No way!" Goh said as he reached out to the flame as it intensified.
"Are you crazy? you're going to burn your hand!" Spirit shouted in shock.
"I don't care!" Goh said as he kept reaching out.
"Why? Why go this far for this Ash human?!" Spirit said.
"Because he helped me so much and not just me, everyone that has met Ash he helped so now it my turn to help him no matter what!" Goh shouted as he was able to grab the flame.
As soon as he did the purple flame started surrounding his wrist then disappeared and in its place was a Bakumeter just like Ash's, but purple. Goh looked as he saw the watch-like device as he admired it Spirit started to laugh.
"Hahaha!" Spirit laughed.
"What's so funny now?" Goh asked.
"Sorry, it's just that I thought this day would never come." Spirit said, confusing Goh.
"What day?" Goh asked.
"The day that I would find a partner." Spirit said as she started to glow.
Spirit began to take the form of a giant fox with black fur with purple on her paws and the tip of the tail and a spot on the forehead that looked like an eye and was wearing a chest plate and armor guards on the front and back paws.
"I am darkuss shadow Kyuubi" Spirit said, revealing her true name.
"You're a bakugan?!" Goh said.
"Yes! Now are you ready partner?!" Kyuubi asked as Goh nodded.
Goh opened his eyes and saw he was back as the battle was still going on. Phosphos was holding Leonidas from behind while Lythirus was punching him in the stomach with his claws. Goh then felt something in his right hand as he opened it and saw a black ball as he smiled because he knew what it was or who it was.
"Hang on Ash help is on the way!" Goh said, confusing Ash.
"Goh what are…" Ash started but Goh just rolled out his new partner.
"Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand Darkuss Shadow Kyuubi go!" Goh shouted
As the ball rolled out and opened up to look like lumagrowl but the head looked like a fox. Ash, Pikachu, Grooky and Leonidas and the other bakugan were shocked that Goh somehow got a bakugan.
Leonidas/Kyuubi pl: 1100+900=2000
As Kyuubi appeared she pounced on Lythirus knocking the blue shrimp back giving Leonidas the opportunity to free himself from he was free he then went on to thank his savior.
"Thanks for the save. The name is Leonidas." Leonidas said.
"It was nothing special and my name is Kyuubi." Kyuubi said as Ash asked Goh how he got her.
"Goh where did you or how did you…" Ash started but was stopped.
"I'll tell you later but right now we have a battle to win." Goh said as he held out his fist which Ash smiled and did a fist bump with him.
Stoica and Lena were also shocked that Goh somehow got a bakugan. With Stoica being annoyed as Lena was curious.
"Where did that human get that bakugan?" Stoica said, annoyed.
"We will have to find out later." Lena said.
"Hate it that you're right. Ability activate…" Stoica started but Goh was faster.
"Ability activate Shadow seal!" Goh said.
Purple chains shot out of the ground and wrap around Lythirus and Phosphos at the same time weakening them.
Lythirus/Phosphos pl: 1800-200-200=1400
"What did you just do?" Stoica shouted.
"Shadow seal not only weakens you bakugan but stops you from using any abilities." Goh said as Ash smiled.
"Good job Goh! Ability activate Flare buster!" Ash said as Leonidas fired a flame and lighting attack at the enemy bakugan turning them back into ball form.
Leonidas/Kyuubi pl: 2000+400=2400
Stoica LG: 60%
Lena LG: 0%
"This can't be happening." Stoica said.
"Ren did say that Leonidas was strong." Lena said.
"He only won because his friend somehow got a bakugan not to mention you were no help in the battle." Stoica shouted at Lena as Goh heard him.
"Hey don't yell at her!" Goh shouted as Stoica looked at him.
"You mind your own business." Stoica said.
"I'm not just going to keep quiet when a coward yells at someone who gave it their all in a battle." Goh said as Stoica shouted.
"Coward?!" Stoica shouted.
"You heard me if you weren't then you would have taken on Ash and Leonidas one on one instead of joining in after Lena lost the first round." Goh said as Stoica got furious.
"I am stronger than any of you humans!" Stoica said as Ash spoke.
"Then let's see if you can back it up. Gate card set!" Ash said as he set his gate card seeing that Goh doesn't have any yet.
"Bakugan brawl!" Ash and Goh said as Leonidas and Kyuubi appeared.
Leonidas/Kyuubi pl: 2000
"Let's see how you like this." Stoica said as he entered a code with a big strange like battle gear appeared as Lythius got on it.
"Mobile assault launch!" As the battle gear launched and opened up.
Appearing was a scorpion-like machine with six legs, two giant pincers and a tail with Lythius riding it. Ash and Goh were shocked by the battle gear.
"Is that battle gear?" Ash asked.
"You know more about this stuff than me. What about you guys do you know anything about this?" Goh asked as Leonidas answered.
"It's a mobile assault vehicle it's like an evolved form of battle gear." Leonidas said.
"That's going to be tough to beat." Ash said.
"But we will try. Ability activate Shadow wisp!" Goh said as Kyuubi created 4 black flame Willo wisps and fired them at the vehicle.
Leonidas/Kyuubi Pl: 2000+400=2400
The Willo wisps hit the vehicle but didn't do much and Goh were shocked that the armor was strong while Lythius laughed at them.
"Did you really think that would work?" Lythius said as he used the tail and fired a laser at them.
The two bakugan were able to dodge it and began to try and do some short of damage to it. they tried all sorts of things, but nothing was working just then the Teddiursa that Lena helped came out from behind a tree apparently it got trapped inside when the barrier went up.
"Tedd?" Teddiursa said as she was scared of what was going on as Lena noticed the bear.
"You?" Lena said as Teddiursa saw her.
"Teddiursa!" Teddiursa said as she started to run to Lena thinking she would protect her since Lena helped her before.
"No, stay there." Lena said but Teddiursa kept running to her.
"Annoying pests. Lythirus get rid of it!" Stoica ordered as Lythirus moved the vehicle towards the bear like Pokémon.
"Master Stoica no!" Lena said as she ran to Teddiursa.
Lena was able to get to Teddiursa as she embraced the Pokémon shielding it as the mobile vehicle moved its claws towards them as Lena closed her eyes waiting for the impact but didn't happen. Lena opened her eyes and saw Leonidas holding back the claws.
"Why would you?" Lena asked.
"Just get out of here." Leonidas said, struggling to hold it back.
Lena did what he said and ran with Teddiursa in her she was out of the way Ash and Goh let Stoica have a piece of their minds.
"What is wrong with you going after an innocent Pokémon and someone on your side!" Ash shouted.
"Not only are you a coward but a jerk as well." Goh said but Stoica didn't care.
"This is a war so I'll do whatever it takes to win and you just started bakugan battling and your lovesick friend just got his, so you don't know much about what's going on." Stoica said as Ash countered.
"I may be new to all this but what I do know about my partner is that he wants to be king so all bakugan can live in peace." Ash said Lythirus heard what he said and laughed.
"This weakling as King that's a laugh." Lythirus said.
"There's nothing funny about having a dream." Ash said.
"Dreams are something that you can make happen this weakling couldn't even beat Scourge." Lythirus said as Leonidas got on one knee.
"He's right Ash." Leonidas said but Ash didn't agree.
"No he's wrong!" Ash shouted.
"Ash?" Leonidas said.
"So what if we lost to Ryuga and Scourge we will just have to beat them next time. Because together we will be stronger and keep getting stronger because Leonidas no one can get strong on their own." Ash said.
Leonidas felt inspired by his partner's words so much that he felt a surge of power coursing through him.
"Your right Ash if I let myself lose to this coward then I can't call myself King and also we will beat Ryuga and Scourge together!" Leonidas roared as he ripped the claws off the vehicle.
"Uh-oh!" Lythirus said as Ash used an ability.
"Ability activate Lighting upper!" Ash shouted as Leonidas did an uppercut and destroyed the mobile assault vehicle.
"Ok did not see that coming?" Stoica said.
"Get ready because your next you overgrown seafood! Attribute change Ventus!" Leonidas said as he changed from red to green.
"Let's end this." Ash said as he entered the code for the battle gear.
"Ready Arsenal." As Ash grabbed it.
"Battle gear boost!" He said as he tossed it.
The battle gear landed on Leonidas and what appeared was two green side cannons at each side of his arms with crystal shuriken's.
Leonidas/Kyuubi Pl: 2700+100= 2800
" I don't think so Ability…" Stoica started but the same purple chains appeared on Lythirus again.
Lythirus Pl: 900-200=700
Stoica looked and saw that Goh used shadow seal again which got the gundalian mad witch increase with what Ash did next.
"Gate card open Element dragon!" Ash said as the field glowed.
"What does that do?" Stoica asked.
"Element dragon is a gate card that specifically works for Leonidas that lets me use his level2 battle gear ability." Ash said.
"Level2!" Stoica said in shock.
"Yup now Level2 battle ability activate Arsenal shuriken storm!" Ash said.
Leonidas fired the shuriken's as they split up to make even more and the created a tornado and headed to Lythirus with the giant shrimp scared.
"Mommy." Lythirus whimpered as the tornado hit him and returned to ball form.

"Wait to go Ash!" Goh said.
"Could not have done it without you and Kyuubi." Ash said.
"He's right, thank you Kyuubi." Leonidas said as Kyuubi popped out.
"It was nothing, I'm just glad that I was able to finally find a partner." Kyuubi said as Pikachu and Grookey cheered for joy.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu cheered.
"Grookey!" Grookey cheered.
As Ash,Goh and their pokemon and bakugan celebrated, Lena came up to Stoica and still was holding Teddiursa.
"Master Stoica, we should retreat for now." Lena said as Stoica angrily agreed.
"Fine." Stoica said.
As they were about to leave all of a sudden a hyper beam attacked stopping looked and saw Ash's Dragonite with Fabia, Shun and May on they landed Fabia hurried over to Ash.
"Fabia your…" Ash started but was cutoff as Fabia kissed him on the lips passionately she then stopped.
"Glad you are ok." Fabia said as May came up.
"So you and Ash are in a relationship." May said.
"You could say that." Fabia said as Ash was shocked to see his friend from hoenn.
"May your here?" Ash said.
Before May could answer, Shun brought everyone's focus back to Stoica and Lena who were about to leave again.
"Hold it right there you two!" Shun shouted as the rest focused on the gundalian.
"You're not going anywhere Lena and whoever you are." Fabia said.
"His name is Stoica." Goh said as Fabia was shocked.
"Stoica!" Fabia shouted.
Before Fabia could do anything, smoke bombs fell from the sky followed by evil trio Stoica was annoyed at what was happening.
"Now what?" Stoica asked as a certain annoying trio started their stupid motto
"To bring the world to devastation!" Jessie said.
"To break the bonds of all people!" James said
" Getting rid of truth and love!" Meowth said.
"We are team Rocket!" Jessie said.
"So surrender now or prepare to fight!" James said.
"Meowth that's right!" Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.
The evil team did their signature pose as Fabia,Shun,Lena and Stoica did not know who they were until Ash and Goh and May shouted.
"Team rocket!" Ash shouted.
"Not you guys again!" Goh shouted.
"Seriously it's been six years and you're still doing this." May shouted as Aranaut popped out.
"Who are they?" Aranaut asked.
"They are bad guys that steal other people's pokemon and…wait what are you?" May said as she was shocked to see the bakugan.
"Well I'm a…" Aranaut started but was stopped by Jessie.
"Hey don't ignore us!" Jessie said.
"Yeah and besides if it ain't broke don't fix it." James said.
"And this time not only we will finally get pikachu but those giant pokemon as well." Meowth said think that the bakugan were pokemon.
"What's a pokemon?" Stoica whispered to Lena.
"I think it's what they call these creatchers and they think our bakugan are like them as well." Lena said as Stoica got a wicked smirk.
"Hey team something!" Stoica shouted, getting the evil trio attention.
"Team Rocket!" They shouted back.
"Whatever. Look, I can get you all those giant pokemon that you want." Stoica said as Trio was curious as to what he ment.
"You can?!" Jessie and James said as Stoica nodded.
"What's the catch?" Meowth asked as Stoica smirked again.
"See that girl with the blue hair." Stoica said as he pointed at Fabia.
"Yeah?" Thetrio said
"Capture her and they are all yours." Stoica said as Lena whispered.
"What are you doing?" Lena asked.
"If we capture the princess then we can use her against Neathia." Stoica said as he looked at the trio who were about to agree with his deal.
"It's a deal!" The trio said.
Team Rocket turned to face the group with their focus on then got in front of Fabia as Pikachu and Mimikyu ready to protect her.
"I will not let you guys get even close to her!" Ash said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said getting battle ready.
"Kyu!" Mimikyu said ready to protect her trainer.
"We will see about that Go Seviper! Jessie said as she tossed a poke ball.
"Seviper!" Seviper said as he appeared.
"Amoonguss you too!" James said as he also tossed a poke ball.
"Amoonguss!" Amoonguss said as he appeared.
Jessie and James ordered their pokemon to and get had pikachu take on Seviper while Goh sent out Cinderace along with May's Blaziken with shun's Farfetch'd to take on Amoonguss.
"Seviper poison tail!" Jessie said.
"Pikachu use Iron tail!" Ash said.
Both moves clashed with Pikachu being stronger, sending the snake back and hitting Jessie, sending her back as Goh,Shun and May James was ordering Amoonguss to Attack.
"Amoonguss use energy ball!" James said.
"Blaziken use Fire spin!" May said.
"Cinderace use Pyro ball!" Goh said.
"Farfetch'd use Air cutter!" Shun said.
The 3 moves combine then went straight through the energy ball then hit Amoonguss sending him back hitting James. They all then landed Meowth as Stoica and Lena ran to them.
"What was that?" Stoica said.
"Not very impressive." Lena said as Meowth got mad.
"I didn't see you try." Meowth said.
"Yeah you have a pokemon why don't you try?!" Jessie said before Lena could reply Ash ordered Pikachu to do a thunderbolt.
"Pikachu use thunderbolt!" Ash said.
"Pika…Chuuuu!" Pikachu said as he unleashed thunder at the evil group creating an explosion.
"Talk about nothing changing." Jessie said.
"But it's nice to keep the classics!" James said.
"True that." Meowth said.
"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet said.
"What are you talking about?!" Stoica shouted.
"Looks like team rocket is blasting off again!" Jessie,James and Meowth said.
The annoying trio along with Stoica and Lena with the Teddiursa flew away with a they were gone May came up and demanded answers.
"Ok I think I've been patient long enough THE HECK IS GOING ON?!" May shouted.
Ash then went on to explain everything and I mean everything to how Leonidas was sent to get him to help stop the war with Gundalia and even the kiss of marriage first May was shocked but then quickly accepted the information. Once that was done they went on to hangout some with Fabia and May getting a long as if they were sisters they then left the island and now in the city saying goodbye.
"Goodbye May glad that I met you." Fabia said.
"Same and Ash, if I find out that you're causing problems for Fabia then you have to answer to me." May said as Ash got an anime sweatdrop.
"Right." Ash said as Goh snickered while Shun just remained silent.
"All right let's get going." Leonidas said.
Everyone got together but just as Leonidas was about to teleport everyone back to Shun's world Fabia suddenly remembered something.
"Hold on!" Fabia shouted.
"What now?" Leonidas asked.
"I just need to ask May something." Fabia said as May was curious.
"Ask me what?" May asked.
"Well once we get the whole battle brawlers on our side we are going to go to Neathian and once we do me and Ash are going to have our wedding ceremony." Fabia said.
"Ok." May said.
"Well I was wondering if you will be my maid of honor May? Fabia asked, as May hugged her new best friend.
"Of course." May said, accepting the honor.
Once the hug was done Leonidas finally teleported everyone back to Shun's May watched them leave she then went to do some shopping for a wedding gift for her new friend.
(Gundalia planet)
Stoica and Lena made it back to Gundalia and now in front of Brarodius and were giving him a report on what they found.
"So, what have you found on this other earth?" Brarodius demanded.
"Well from what we found out this Ash Ketchum world has these creatures called Pokémon and…" Stoica started as Brarodius stopped him.
"Did you say Pokémon?" Brarodius asked.
"Yes and these 3 can explain more about it." Stoica said.
A group of Gundalian guards came up with Jessie,James and Meowth with the trio being scared. Once they landed Stoica decided to take the team rocket members back with them. But instead of asking them more questions Brarodius got up and did something else.
"Have Gill questioned them. I need to check something in my private chambers." Brarodius said as he left.
Brarodius arrived at his chambers once there he started going through some of his books. After looking and tossing one book after the other trying to find something he was able to find what he was looking for.
"Finally!" Brarodius said.
