Hey guys so we have returned with a new chapter, hope you enjoy :)

How are you all enjoying the story so far? do you like it? I know some of you are still upset that I had discontinued RWBY Hearts and I deeply apologize for it. I hope you can all forgive me for it.

But with this new fic, I am going to give it my all. I will do as much updating as possible, and I am so excited for this one as well :)

To RonaldM40196867: I like the Keyblad'es design. And this reunion, I could all anything but emotional...well maybe emotional but not the good emotional

Hollow Bastion/Merlin's House

"Ok, easy, easy." Yen Sid was being helped to the couch by Merlin and Lea, who were guiding him to a nearby bed, and helping him in. Mickey was worried for his master, but at the same time he was just so happy that he was alright. He then looked around. "Merlin, where's Leon?"

Merlin sighed. "He and the others are out and about, but enough about them, let us worry more for Yen Sid." He said as he and Lea finally helped the old wizard in bed. "Are you alright now?

Yen said grunted. "A bit sore, but yes." He said with a deep breath as he then took a deep breath. "Thank you."

"No problem." Lea said with a hand wave. "Thank god I got there just in time." He said with a grin.

Yen Sid looked up and smiled. "And you have my gratitude, Lea." He said as he then grunted again, feeling the pain in his stomach.

"I'll fix you some tea." Merlin said as he went over to a desk to get the kettle on, leaving Yen Sid, Mickey, and Lea.

"So…master." Mickey said with concern. "What happened?" He asked. "Pete told me something about you and then about how he found some employment." He said as he then turned his attention to Lea. "And you saved him right? Do you know who it was that attacked him? Was it Maleficent?"

Yen Sid looked at Mickey and sighed. "Mickey, Maleficent was not behind the attack on me." He said with a grunt, getting the boss's attention. "Let us wait for Merlin to come back, I assure you he will want to listen to this as well." He said.

After waiting a bit, Merlin had come back with tea for everyone, even Lea. As they all sat down together, they were now listening to Yen Sid, who sighed as he poured the tea down. "It was back in my younger days, when I was still a Keyblade Master." He said. "During that time, I heard of an evil king by the name of Arawn, he attempted to try to conquer many worlds in his name using an ancient powerful relic called-"

"The Black Cauldron…" Merlin said with his eyes widened.

"Yes," Yen Sid said. "Anyway, I was instructed to go into his homeworld of Prydain to stop him. It was a tough battle, but I managed to defeat him." He said. "But then at some point, his champion also engaged me in battle…and I was lucky enough to face him and defeat him as well." He sighed. "But that battle was more tough because he was able to use magic at his side." He said.

"Wait…this is all confusing…I don't remember you ever telling me about this." Mickey said.

Yen Sid nodded. "And I will explain why in a minute. Anyway, after defeating his champion, I assumed that he would never be able to wreak havoc on Prydain…but today it proved I was wrong."

Merlin winded his eyes. "Wait…champion…you don't mean.

Yen Sid nodded. "Morda...The Horned King." He said with dread. The very name caused Merlin and Mickey to feel dread, even Lea felt it as well. "He has come back…" He said.

Merlin gasped. "But impossible...Morda was simply-"

"It appears that he has sacrificed his one soul for power…turning him into a lich." Yen Sid said. "And now even more shocking…The Horned King has done away with Maleficent, and has taken her magic for himself." He said. "And that includes taking full control of the Heartless."

Mickey was shocked at hearing that this…creature killed Maleficent and had taken her magic and powers for his own…what sort of monster was the Horned King? "M-Master, why didn't you tell me this before?"

"Because it had been many years since we last fought." Yen Sid said to him with a sigh. "I thought he had been destroyed or forgot about me...but it appears that he is back," He said.

Merlin gulped a bit. "And his goal?"

Yen Sid looked at his fellow wizard with dread. "He is going to try to take control of many worlds…" He said, with both Merlin and Mickey gasping. "And that is not all." He said as he grunted a bit. "He has taken my magic as well."

…..

"WHAT?'' Both Merlin and Mickey shouted, making the old wizard cover his ears, but the other two were just as shocked. Master Yen Sid, a former keyblade master and one of the most powerful wizards of all time ...his magic taken from him? Mickey was wondering what sort of monster was this…Horned King?

"I do not know how he has done this, but I fear that with my magic, and his control over darkness…it won't be pretty." He said.

Mickey then summoned his keyblade. "Don't worry, I will stop this monster."

Yen Sid then shook his head. "Wait, my apprentice." He said to him. "It is way too dangerous for you to handle. Maleficent and Xemnas were mp doubt strong, but Morda…Morda is something else entirely." He said to him,

Mickey shook his head. "But Master, if this beast is planning to conquer the world, I have to stop him! And besides, he has your magic, so if I beat him, then we might be able to get you back to full strength." He said.

"He does have a point, my friend." Merlin said to him.

Yen Sid looked at the mouse; pleading eyes. He knew Mickey wanted to help him, but at the same time, he was very worried about his safety…but he then sighed. "If you really wish to fight the Horned King…you will need some assistance first." He said to him.

"Of course." Mickey said. "Donald and goofy can-"

"Not just them." Yen Sid said to him. "You will need more help." He then turned to Merlin. "Merlin, send a letter to Sora, Riku, and Kairi as well." Mickey looked at his master with surprise.

"Master, are you sure?"

We are going to need the help we can get." Yen Sid said. "And we both know that Sora is willing to do whatever it means to ensure the world's safety." He said. "And Riku will provide more help as well."

"But what about Kairi?" Merlin asked. "Not to be rude or anything, but she cannot wield a keyblade."

"Actually…" Mickey said. "When we were at the Castle That Never Was, I saw her wielding a keyblade and assisting Riku in fighting Heartless and Nobodies." He said, making Merlin look surprised. "But I am not sure how she was able to wield one though." As soon as he said that, both Merlin and Yen Sid looked at the young king with eyes that spoke of interest.

"Really?" Yen Sid said with some intrigue. "Well then." He said.

"Hey," they all looked at Lea who had his hands on his hips. "Say, since I have nothing better to do since I got restored back to my normal self…if you all need help taking care of this undead thing, well, I guess I can help." He suggested.

Merlin looked baffled. "You? Help?"

Lea glared. "Well, I might not be able to wield a keyblade, but I can still use my chakrams…in fact…that was something I was going to ask the old wizard about." He said as he looked at Yen Sid and sighed. "During my time in the Organization, whenever I saw Roxas use that keyblade, a part of me felt..well…it's hard to explain."

"I think I get it." Yen Sid said to him. "The connection you have to Roxas in your heart, is that why you want a keyblade?"

"Well, not just that." Lea said. "I want to see him again." Lea then sat down and sighed. "He was the only real friend I had in the Organization, the only one who I felt relaxed around…the days where he and I would sit on the bell tower of Twilight Town…eating Sea-Salt Ice Cream together. It was like something that I had with Isa before we were turned…I just…yea"

Mickey, Merlin, and Yen Sid looked at him. A young man who was once in the organization, craving to see his friend again…the three looked at him with looks of sympathy.

"Lea," The young man looked at Yen Sid. "I do not know how we can bring Roxas back to existence without sacrificing Sora."

Lea sighed. "I know."

"But," The old master said. "But as for you wishing to wield a keyblade…the way to require one is to have a strong heart. And you wish to reunite with Roxas, something that you desire is the connection to a strong heart."

Lea looked at him with confusion, and Yen Sid gave a small smile. "For that…and the fact that you saved me from the Horned King…I accept your request to train me to use a keyblade."

"WHAT!" Mickey and Merlin shouted in unison.

This was when Lea gave a big grin. "Alright!" He said as he then shook with excitement. "Thank you, sir, I won't fail!"

Yen Sid nodded and turned to Merlin. "Merlin, I want you to transport me and Lea to a place where time flows differently. I will monitor him, me, and the good fairies."

"Are you sure master?" Mickey asked. "What about your injuries?"

"I will take it easy, my apprentice." Yen Sid said with a smile. "But I want you to send letters to Riku, Sora, and Kairi, we are going to need them."

Mickey nodded "Of course Master." Mickey said but then he frowned a bit. "I might need Donald and Goofy as well…Pete has himself a crew…so we will need as much help as we can get." He said as he then went over to a desk and got some letters ready.

Lea then thought of something. "You know," He said, getting everyone's attention. "During my time in the Organization, I've seen Roxas with his keyblade before, and I always wondered how he got his to materialize out of thin air. I wonder if it has something to do with a snap of the wrist or something." He then extended his wrist and hand out as if to grab something.

WHOOSH

And in some sort of small fire, a keyblade appeared right into his hands. The keyblade's guard resembled his chakrams, the hilt was straight, and the teeth and blade took the shape of a glowing translucent streak of yellow-orange flames, the chain was red and the token resembled the chakrams as well.

"Oh." Lea simply said. But Mickey and Merlin though…

"WWHHAATT?" They both shouted in shock. Yen Sid, even though the retired master was often stern and stoic, even had his eyes widened like saucers at the very sight of the event. Just the very sight of a former Organization member summoning his own keyblade…with no prior training at all…it was baffling.

"Well, this is going to be interesting…" Yen Sid thought with some piqued interest.

Destiny Islands

Destiny Islands, a series of islands where some children from the mainland come out to hang out with each other. Beautiful scenery, an ocean as blue as the sky, and many trees surrounding it, it was also the home of three special teenagers, Sora, Riku, and Kairi.

Some time ago, Destiny Islands was under attack by Heartless and was plunged into darkness, with Kairi being captured and Riku briefly falling into darkness, it only left Sora as the sole survivor. Sora had gotten the keyblade and it was up to him, alongside his new friends Donald Duck, and Goofy, to find his friends and restore the islands, and they did just that.

On the cliff overlooking the ocean, Sora was sitting down and staring in the distance. Sora was a 15 year old teenager with fair skin, blue eyes, and brown spiky hair, and his outfit consisted of a navy blue v-neck t-shirt that had white hemming and a red front pocket. He also wore black chap-style shorts with yellow belts that held two red pockets on either leg. He also had on a black hooded jacket that had white hemmings on it and pauldron-like additions to the shoulders with yellow on it. He wore fingerless gloves that were black with white hemming, had a yellow wrist strap on each glove, and white straps that made an x across the back of the hand. Finally, his shoes were black and yellow with blue straps and a zipper running down the length of each shoe, and he had on a crown necklace too.

Saving Destiny Islands wasn't the only thing Sora did. About many months ago, he also dealt with a mysterious group known as Organization XIII, a group of Nobodies who planned to use Kingdom Hearts in order to gain real hearts to become whole. Nobody? Well, when someone becomes Heartless, they also turn into Nobodies. After Sora defeated them, as well as their leader Xemnas, Sora and his friends returned to their simple lives.

Sora was feeling a bit bored however, he missed going to many worlds with Donald and Goofy and fighting evil. Sure he was glad to be back home after so long…but he longed for adventure once again.

"Sora!" Sora turned to see his best friend, Riku, come over. Riku was a teen around a year older than Sora, with fair skin, blue eyes, and silver hair. His outfit consisted of a sleeveless, black, double-zippered shirt that was zippered up to just below his neck and to just above his belly button that was underneath a white vest that was yellow on the bottom with a blue stripe separating the other colors. The collar of the vest was folded down to reveal the color on the inside was all yellow and was decorated with four, small silver buttons. A white wrist guard was worn on his left arm, on the bottom he wore blue, baggy pants that have very large pockets and were held up by a black and silver belt. He wore a pair of white shoes that were gray on both the top and bottom and had three black stripes on each side and yellow laces.

The two of them were best friends/rivals when they were very young, always trying to see who could be better, but Riku was always the better fighter of the two. As they grew up together, Riku had ambitions and dreams of leaving the island and traveling to see other worlds beyond. But it would change when the two became teens and Riku's ambitions led him to be tempted into using darkness. After that, the two became enemies…for a brief time before Sora saved him.

When the Seeker of Darkness Ansem was defeated, Riku helped Sora by sealing the door to darkness, but he stayed behind. Sora had spent a year or two trying to find him, and he did. After the defeat of Organization XIII, Riku had finally gone home with Sora and Kairi and the three were happy.

Riku noticed Sira sitting on the tree and he came over to see what was going on. "Sora, are you alright?" He asked.

Sora looked at him funny. "Sure, why do you ask?"

"Well, ever since we came back, you have been a bit…distant to say the least." He said with a worried look on his face. "Is there something wrong?"

Sora wanted to lie and say he was fine…but he sighed and shook his head. "No." He said as he then looked out into the distance "I'm glad we're back home…but I miss traveling. Like going to different worlds, fighting Heartless, traveling with Donald and Goofy." He sighed. "All I ever wanted was to find you and Kairi and come back to the Islands...but I can't help but miss going to explore, you know?" He asked.

Riku looked at him and looked out into the distance. "You know…I kinda miss it too." He said, much to Sora's surprise. "As I know back then, I did some bad things..things I wish I could take back, but back when I was on Maleficent's side, and going to many worlds…I was so excited…so excited to see many other places that were not Destiny Islands…I miss it to." He said.

The two looked out into the distance their minds focused on their companions, Donald Duck, Goofy, and King Mickey. Sora in particular was thinking of all the friends I made as he traveled through many different worlds. He wondered how they were doing, were they less Heartless?

"Sora, Riku!" The two boys turned to see Kairi running up to them. Kairi was a teen girl with long dark auburn hair that goes down to her shoulders and wearing an outfit that consisted of a pink strapless mini-dress that had three zippers and a white halter top underneath the ensemble. She was also wearing three bracelets on her left wrist, a black belt that looked like suspenders with a notebook-shaped bag attachment, and finally lilac sneakers with black laces.

"Kairi, what's going on?" He asked as the girl finally caught up with them with a bottle in her hand.

"We got something." She Ska da showed the boys the bottle which showed the king's seal, much to their surprise. "From the king!"

Riku then took the bottle and took the core off and the note dropped out and he opened it, letting the other two read what it says

'Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Hi, I hope you three are all doing well, especially after the incident with Xemnas and Organization XIII.

Listen, I know you three are relaxing, but we have a bit of a crisis on our hands, I need you three to come to Radiant Garden as soon as possible. Merlin will explain more once you get here. I will send a Gummi Ship for you.

King Mickey.'

As the three teens read the note, they could feel the concern that Was written in that note, what sort of crises was he talking about? Heartless? Nobody?

Sora then looked at his two friends and nodded. "What do you think guys?" He asked. "Ready for another adventure?"

Riku sighed. "Well if Mickey needs us, who are we to turn him down, right?"

Kairi however felt a bit confused. "I wonder why he needs me though. I can't fight."

Riku raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Of course you can fight, you helped me fight Heartless and Nobodies in The World That Never Was, remember?" He asked her.

In his words, that was when Kairi remembered using aKeyblade for the very first time, and she smiled. "Yea…that was actually kind of exciting." She said to them. "Now I understand why Sora loves it." That little comment made everyone laugh a bit.

Sora then stopped and looked at the letter. "Still though, I wonder what's going on.." He thought with worry.

Radiant Garden/Merlin's House

"Oh, where is he?" Mickey had sent Donald and Goofy over to Radiant Garden, and the duck mage was waiting impatiently for Sora.

Mickey sighed a bit. "Relax, Donald. They should be here very soon." Mickey told him as Goofy was looking around the area.

"Gwarsh, so I know we need to wait for Sora, Riku, and Kairi, but could you at least give us a hint as to what is going on?" He asked.

Mickey looked at him and Donald and sighed. "I can't explain everything just yet, but I will admit." the mouse said with some death in his voice "This is something much worse than Ansem…or Organization XIII." He said, making both duck and dog gasp a bit.

RUMBLE RUMBLE

The sound of some engines were outside and it got the three animals' attention and they all smiled, knowing that the Destiny Islands trio were here.

"Hello?" Sora said as he, Riku, and Kairi entered the house with smiles on their faces.

"SORA!" The young keyblade wielder was immediately glomped by Donald and Goofy, who jumped at him and gave him a big hug that caused them all to go rashing to the floor in laughter. Riku saw Mickey and he and the mouse gave each other a big hug as well in happiness.

Kairi gave a small giggle. "Boys…" she said with a head shake.

POOF

In a flash of smoke, Merlin appeared right before them, needing to use his hand to wave the smoke away for a moment. "Oh boy, such a landing." He said as he then looked to see Sora and the others, and he gave a big smile. "Ah, Sora, Donald, Goofy!" He said with a hearty laugh.

"Hey, Nerlin!" Sora said as he, Donald, and Goofy got up off the floor.

"How have you been?"

Sora shrugged his shoulders. "Both bad, but it's been a bit boring to say the least."

"Oh? Mickey asked.

Riku nodded. "Sorta," He said. "After defeating Xemnas and Organization XIII, things have been quiet in Destiny Islands. I mean not that it's a bad thing."

"We needed the downtime." Kairi said sternly. "After the hell we've been through…well the hell that you two have been through, you needed the rest!"

"We know, we know." Sora and Riju said in unison, but this made the two go wide-eyed. "Jinx!"

Everyone got a good laugh out of it, but then Merlin cleared his throat. "Now that we are all here and accounted for, we need to discuss something important." He then gestured the others at the table, and using his magic, he conjured up some tea for everyone. "But first, some tea?"

After everyone took their seats and took a sip of their tea, Merlin cleared his throat to get their attention. "Alright, everyone, now the reason we called you all here is because we are facing a bit of a crisis."

The ones who were not told of what was going on got alarmed and then adopted force looks. "Heartless again?" Riku asked.

Mickey nodded. "Yes…but not just them, something else entirely." He said to them. "This is something that is even beyond the Organization or Ansem…" Mickey said to them all with dread.

We are going to stop there for now folks. I was going to do more but I felt as if we needed to stop at a cliffhanger ;)

So anyways, Yen Sid has told Mickey about The Horned King and now Lea has gone to train to wield the keyblade! Wowzas.
