Hey guys, I have returned with a new chapter for you! So last time, our heroes were told of the evil Horned King and seeing as how Master Yen Sid is powerless for the time being, they have to stop the evil lich or all hope will be lost. Can they win the fight? Only time will tell.
Also should I change the categories to Kingdom Hearts hands Cartoon X-overs? Or is it fine being a Kingdom Hearts-only fic? Let me know.
Also sorry for not updating sooner…I am a bit occupied at playing horror games in honor of the spooky season. Just got done playing Resident Evil 2 (Remake) and I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4 (Remake), Doom, and Silent Hill 2 (Remake).

World Lane
As they left the world of Radiant Garden behind them, the heroes were now on another adventure, but that wasn't tall sunshine and rainbows however. This adventure was going to be fierce, tough, and very dangerous, as they were facing a threat far worse than Maleficent or Organization XIII.
Anyway, Lea was looking out the window and whistled in amazement. "So this is how you guys traverse to other worlds huh?" He asked. "I gotta say, I like the view." He said with a smile.
Goofy smiles at him. "Gwarsh, thank ya Lea! We're glad to have you on our journey!" He said. Lea looked at the dog and then looked down a bit, still feeling a bit bad for what he did in the Organization.
Meanwhile, Sora was smiling widely, and Riku was giving him a weird look. "Sora, why are you so happy?" He asked.
"Why do you think so?" He asked. "Because we are on another adventure, and this time you and Kairi are going to be with me! I'm not the one looking for you guys…because you are with me this time around!" He said with a smile.
Kairi, who was sitting next to him, smiled. "I am happy to be involved as well." She then looked away. "I just hope I won't be a burden to you all."
"Kairi, you won't be." Riku said to her.
Kairi sighed. "I'm still so new to all of this! I'm no fighter, you know that!"
Sora smiled and wraped his arm around her. "Kairi, you'll be fine. I promise." He said to her. When Kairi looked at him she couldn't help but give a faint blush on her face.
"Thanks Sora…" She muttered under her breath.
"Fellas!" Everyone was then snapped out of their thoughts to see Mickey, who was in the pilot's seat. "We're approaching our first world!" He said to them all. Making a lot of them look very surprised, Mickey was looking at the screen right in front of him as the world was starting to come into view. The world looked like London, a setting very familiar to Sora, Donald, and Goofy.
'New World Approaching: Mousedom'
The name of the world got everyone by surprise a bit. Mousedom? What sort of world was that? A world of…well..mice?
"Ok…weird name…but I guess if we are to find any information we need…then we will need to go then," Mickey said as he pushed on the levers a bit. "Onward to the world of Mousedom!" He said as the Gummiship took off to the world.
Mousedom/Streets
In a beam of light, the group were all in the new world. And much to their surprise…they were still in their normal forms, much to their surprise.
"Well, that's interesting." Sora said as he wiggled his fingers.
Kairi was also confused, when she heard the word Mousedom, she assumed that they would be turned into mice..or any other animal, but nope, they were still humans.
"Do you always change appearances when you go to other worlds?" Lea asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Why would you ask that?" Donald asked with a frown. "You used to traverse worlds as well!"
"Well duh, but I was a Nobody! We didn't change forms when we went to different worlds."
"Guys!" Lea and Donald were shushed by Mickey. "Not the time, we need to move!" He said as he then began to take the charge, Donald and Lea both glared at each other before letting it go and followed Mickey.
"So where do we go from here?" Riku asked.
"Well-"
*SCREAM*
Everyone heard the sound of some scream and they ran towards the source of the noise. When they got there, they saw a group of four surrounded by Heartless. These Heartless resembled knights, but with their muscular bodies bearing bluish-black body suits that bear a weird looking emblem that looks like a cracked heart. Their other attire consisted of black, silver trimmed shoes that ended in spiral toes. These are called the Soldier Heartless, belonging to the Emblem class.
Sora glared hard as he summoned his keyblade, and everyone else called their weapons out as well. "Let's take them down!" He said as they ran to fight. Sora slashed a Soldier's head clean right off, he then dodged a claw attack, and he delivered a kick right to another one's face.
Donald saw a group of Soldiers coming right at him and he raised his staff in the air. "THUNDAGA!" He shouted as a large lightning bolt came down and struck down all the Heartless surrounding him, electrocuting them and turning them into ashes. Donald smirked and twirled his staff. "You don't mess with the duck." He said smugly.
Goofy used his shield to block a claw attack from a Soldier, and he then followed that up with a good shield right to the face. Goofy then noticed many Heartless surrounding him and he smirked as he held out his arms and twisted his body a bit. "Goofy Tornado!" He then untwisted and began to spin around and around and around, hitting many Heartless and knocking them all back.
Riku was now face-to-face with Shadow Heartless, these Heartless were simple ones, looking like black bugs with yellow eyes, and another group of Heartless. These Heartless had thin, black bodies with yellow bracelets around their wrists. It had a gray belt, four-fingered hands, and yellow and purple shoes on its heads. They also had a spherical head with glowing, yellow eyes and a black jagged mouth. They had a body that was black but a majority of the body and heads were encased in a large hammerhead headset, with the ends being black, an antenna was on their heads, and the Heartless Emblem was on their front tips. These are the Hammer Frames, belonging to the Emblem class.
Three Hammer Frames jumped to strike Riku, but he luckily dodged out of the way in time before the Heartless made contact. Riku followed that up with a quick swipe of his Way to Dawn keyblade and took off their heads in a swift clean motion. He then noticed some Soldiers coming at him and he pointed his keyblade at them. "Dark Firaga!" He said as dark fireballs spouted out of his keyblade and hit the Heartless, causing them to burn right up.
Kairi was doing a pretty job in fighting the Heartless, she wasn't as skilled with the blade as Sora or Riku was, but she was still managing to pull her own weight, however she didn't pay close attention as a Soldier got the jump on her, causing her to fall down with a thud.
Ow!" She said, as she then turned around to see a Soldier and a Hammer Frame about to pounce right on top of her, causing her to shale a bit and put her keyblade right to her face, but before they could attack-
WHOOSH
Kairi then took the blade away from her eyes to see Lea, standing over with his keyblade sticking out. He then looked back to her and asked. "Are you alright?" He then offered his hand to help her up.
Kairi looked up at him and even though she was still a bit…wary of him, she still nodded and gave him her hand to help her up. "Thanks Ax-Lea!" She said, then frowned. "Sorry."
Lea gave a small smile. "Don't worry about it." He said as he then noticed some Hammer Frames coming right at him and he smirked as he then twirled his keyblade and the blade burst into fire and morphed into his chakrams. "How about the taste of flames?" He asked as he threw the chakrams at the Heartless, causing them all to catch on fire and then turn into nothingness. The chakrams went back to Lea, where he put them together and they morphed into one, back into his keyblade.
Mickey was having no issue at all dealing with the Heartless, you would think that a small mouse like him would be at a disadvantage, but he's not. He was jumping all around and delivering slash after slash to the beasts.
The Heartless were defeated and the group were victorious. "Alright, we did it!" Goofy said with a big smile on his face.
"Yes we did." Sora said with a smile as he then looked at Kairi. "Kairi, you did great." He said.
Kairi however looked down and shook her head. "No I didn't…I flubbed up."
Sora frowned a bit and sighed. "Kairi, you did just fine, at least Lea helped you out though." He then turned to the former Nobody. "Thanks Lea." He said with a smile, with the man nodding his head. Sora then turned his back to Kairi. "Kairi, you are still a beginner, you will get better the more we press on." He said.
Kairi looked at Sora, every time she saw that smile of his…it just made her much better. "Thanks Sora…" she said while blushing a bit.
Donal dand Goofy saw that action and snickered to each other. "Sora and Kairi sitting in a tree." Donald whispered to Goofy, causing the dog to jiggle a bit.
"Thank you!" The group then broke out of their talk to turn to the figures they saved, three mice and a large dog. The first mouse was a tall and slender figure with light brown fur, his muzzle being the color of sand, and his nose being brown. His outfit is shown to be a white dress shirt with a high collar, a chocolate-brown jacket, a bottle green neck tie, grayish brown pants, and black shoes with white spats. Overneath hsi jacket he wore a dark-honey brown Inverness, and a deer-stalking cap.
The second mouse was on the heavier side, with the same colored fur, but having a dirty-blond mustache and eyebrows. He wore a white dress shirt underneath a dark red sweater, light gray pants and black shoes. Over the sweater he wore a light gray jacket.
Finally the third mouse was the smallest and youngest of the group. She had the same fur color as them, but her nose was red. She wore a blue overcoat underneath a blue dress with a white collar, a blue beret with a dark red puffball, and blue leggings and brown mary janes.
Sora smiled at the group and waved it off. "No problem, we're just glad you're alright." He said as the three figures came closer to the group.
"My word!" The heavier mouse said as he looked at the group with wide eyes. "I've never seen any of the humans this size!" He said as he inspected Sora closely. "Although…there are a few of you who aren't human!"
"True." Mickey said as he went up to them. "I'm Mickey Mouse, these are my friends. Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lea, Donald, and Goofy." He said.
The tall mouse then got a sophisticated smile as he extended his hand. "We do thank you for the assist chap. Names Basil." He said as the group shook hands with him.
"I'm Doctor David Q. Dawson." the heavier mouse said as he shook hands with them as well.
The little mouse smiled brightly at them. "I'm Olivia Flaversham!" She said to them.
Sora nodded. "Have any of you seen Heartless around here?" He asked.
The three mice raised eyebrows. "Is that what those dreadful creatures are called?" Dawson asked, with the others shaking their heads. "Well…not really, you see we were just on our way to the nearby toy store, and then all of a sudden, we were attacked by those monsters."
"It was terrifying." Oliva said with a slight bit of fear.
Basil coughed a bit to get their attention. "Well, it was very good to meet you all and we appreciate the asist, but we need to get a move on." He said.
"Where are you going?" Riku asked him. "Your friend said something about a toy store."
"Right!" Olivia said to them. "You see…my father was kidnapped." She said with sadness, making the other-worlders gasp. "We are going to the toy store to see if he might've left something behind for us to find him."
That was when Kairi went over, kneeled down and pulled the little mousling into a hug. "You poor thing." She said with a frown. Olivia smiled a bit as she accepted the hug and hugged her back.
Basil then went up to the group. "And I know just who is responsible for this kidnapping…the nefarious Professor Ratigan!"
THUNDER
The sound of thunder jumped out of nowhere, causing some of the group to jump a-wait…where did that thunder come from? It ain't raining!
"R-Ratigan?" Kairi asked, with a hint of fear in her voice.
Basil then went up to her. "Ys my dear, Ratigan, a genius for evil. The Napoleon of Crime!"
THUNDER
Once more a struck of thunder boomed the area as Basil told the group about this Ratigan. "For years I've tried to capture him, and I Have been very close as well. But he always escapes my grasp!" He then smiled deviously. "Little Flaversham told me that her father was captured by one of Ratigans minions, a bat named Fidget…this could be my chance to finally catch him!"
"*Ahem*" The mouse detective turned to see Dawson and Oliva frowned at him.
"Right, and to rescue her father of course." He said bashfully.
Sora and the others thought it over. If this Ratigan really was as bad as Basil said he was, then they had to help out. Not to mention that since there's Heartless in this world there was no doubt in denying that Ratigan was possibly in league with the Horned King. "Well then, we're going with you then." He said.
This took the three mice by surprise. "What?" Dawson asked.
Basil shook his head. "Now, now, we are perfectly fine with-"
"You need a mouse." Lea said with his arms crossed. "Especially with the Heartless running around here. You need help in dealing with them, and we're the kind of people for the job." He said, with the others nodding.
"We won;t be in the way, we promise." Kairi said to him.
Basil looked at them with a raised eyebrow, he was about to refuse, but then he felt something tug hsi coat, he turned to see Oliva look up at him.
"Let them help, please?" She asked.
Basil looked at her and back at the group and sighed. "Oh, very well." He said, with the others smiling. "We're in this together…just until we capture Ratigan…" He said as he walked back over to the large dog, who was a Dachshund with brown fur. "Well, no time for dawdling, let;s go!" He said as he climbed the dog. "Everyone, come on to Toby!"
Sora and the other walked over to the dog, who smiled at the group and they smiled back. "Awe, what a cutie." Kaitri said as he rubbed the dachshund's nose, making the dog pants happily. After everyone had gotten on the dog, they all went on their way.
Toy Store
After A few minutes, the group had finally made their way to their destination, a toy store that was mentioned. "Splendid job, Toby!" Basil said as he then jumped off of the dog's nose and landed near the window, he looked back to see Olivia having her arms out, expecting him to catch her. The detective looked a bit annoyed, but he sighed and held out his arms and caught her when she jumped.
"Here we go, fellas!" Mickey said as he and the others jumped off the dogs nose, right after Kairi rubbed the nose gently and praised him, making Toby smile and pant a bit. However Toby was not too happy that the last one, Dawson, was not getting on, as he then growled slightly at him.
"R-right, sorry." Dawson said as he tipped his hat and was about to jump till
SNORT
Toby snorted, causing the fat mouse to go flying and roll right into Sora and Basil, causing the two to collide into one another.
"Would you mind?" Basil asked in an irritating voice, with Sora shrugging his shoulders sas if to say "What did I do?" Basil then cleared his throat and turned to Toby. "Toby…sit!" He commanded, but the dog didn't listen, he still smiled and painted. Basil sighed and went over to the ledge where the dachshund was and once again asked him to sit, a bit more stern this time, but still Toby wouldn't do as he said.
"Sit, Toby!" Olivia commanded with a smile, and just like that…the dog happily sat on his rear. Basil looked at her, and then at Toby and looked a bit irritated, he just didn't get it. How did the young mousling do that?
"Yes..well…excuse me." Basil said as he gently pushed the young girl aside, with her frowning. Sora and the others weren't keen on him acting like that and went to praise the girl.
"Nice work, kid." Lea said with a small smile. Olivia smiled at them and thanked them all. Finally they joined Basil and Dawson at the window, where a small hole was cut.
"Here is where our friend entered!" Basil said as they all eyed the hole.
Goofy scratched his head. "Gwarsh, how could a bat fit through that small hole?" He asked, making Donald face-palm himself.
"You big palooka…" The duck mage muttered.
Basil sighed. "You see my acquaintance." He then put his finger in the hole and pulled back, showing the glass opening up. "This is how our friend got in, and that is how we are going to get in." He said as he then put his finger out and got inside. "Come now, everyone." He said as everybody then went inside, not before Dawson closed the window.
After they got in, they all took a look around and some were in awe. "I don't think I've ever seen so many toys before in my life!" Dawson breathed.
"We have…" The Disney Castle trio muttered, when you have family and Christmas is around the corner, you are bound to go to any toy shop to see many toys.
"And also." They all turned to see Basil, standing behind a block and looking around all over the palace. "Behind any of these toys, is a good place for some sort of bloodthirsty assassin." He said as he then eyed the group. "So please, everyone, be careful and keep quiet!" He said. That only made the towers look at eachother with confusion, why would any assassin hide behind toys? Although Basi did have a point…sorta.
As the group all made their way through the shelf, they all saw other kinds of toys, Oliva marveled over a large rocking horse, and Sora and Riku cringed a bit at seeing a trio of clown dolls, with how big they were it almost seems as if they, the clowns were looking down with moving smileys, the very thought of it made the two boys shiver a bit. Then the group saw a ladder and proceeded to climb up it. After they all made it up the ladder, they began to trek the rest of their way towards the store.
CRASH
Unfortunately, they all heard a loud bang that caused them to jump, Dawson landed on Basil's arms, and Kairi held onto Sora a bit, making the teen blush a bit. They all looked to see that Oliva had turned on a toy band that was playing really, really loudly.
Basil gasped and then growled a bit as he dropped Dawson. "Oh, that little!" He said as he ran over and quickly turned the lever down, causing the toy ban to stop playing. He then turned to Oliva and shook a bit. "Please….!" BHe said, shaking, but then managed to calm down and told her. "Quiet." He said softly to her, he then eyed the rest of the group. "Do not let that girl out of either of your sights!" He said.
"Yes, sir!" They said in unison as the detective then got back to it, Kairi then went over and grabbed Olivia's hand.
"C'mon sweetie." Kairi said to her as she then led her to where the group were heading off. Soon they all found themselves walking on a large chess board, with the pieces still intact.
Basil noticed what they were on, and with a cheeky smile he moved a rook piece in front of Sora, nearly hitting him. "Checkmate." He said, making the teen give him a small glare.
"This guy is really full of himself." Sora muttered under his breath.
"Everyone, look!" They all went over to see what Basil was doing and they saw him with a magnifying glass and noticed footprints…well one of them was a footprint, the other seemed like a dot.
"Those are the weirdest footprints I've seen." Goofy said.
"TYou see my good fellow." Basil started. "The fiend we are looking for isa bat by the name of Fidget, he has a peg leg, hence the dot print." He said as he then inspected the prints. The group then followed the prints to a group of small toy men. Basil then looked at the men and pondered something. "Well," He said as everyone gathered around him. "Someone has taken the liberty of removing every article of clothing from these toy soldiers!" He said.
"That ain't all!" Everyone looked at Mickey, who was looking at a few toys whose insides looked to have been torn open and ripped out. "Looks like someone also managed to remove machinery and parts from these toys." He said. "I wonder who could've done that."
SOFT MUSIC
Everyone was then distracted by the sound of some clicking and soft music going on as well, for the layout of the shop, that noise could be from anywhere! And then more noise began to play, and then more, and more, and then more, until music played all over the place as many toys in the shop were now playing.
"Ok," Donald gulped. "I'm getting a bit nervous here…"
Olivia then saw some bubbles floating in the air, and she got so excited that she went to follow where they were coming from, as she followed the trail, she saw a baby carriage. Being the curious girl, she then went over to the carriage with a smile on her face to see an adorable toy baby, but when she pulled the curtain back…
"AAAAAHGGGG"
And we are going to stop there everybody, again sorry for not updating in a long time. I was busy with things and with the spooky season, I was occupied with spooky games, like I Mentioned above lol.
Anyway I hope you all enjoy the story so far :)
