38. Tartaros War!

Chapter 37: Tartaros War!

Within Plutogrim, the Tartaros hideout, time remained frozen except for one individual, Itachi. The young Uchiha stood there in shock at the revelation Zeref gave him, he stared with wide eyes at Zeref whom with his saddened empty eyes and smile, vanished in a flash, leaving a trail of dust behind.

Then the very next moment, time began moving again. Mira began sensing after whoever was left unaffected by the curse of Alegria. It wasn't that hard since there weren't many left in the area using magic. "I'm going!" Mira declared, although halted as she saw the look of shock in Itachi's eyes as he stared into the empty space.

"Itachi?" Kisame questioned with a raised brow.

"You look spooked, Uchiha." Sasori commented with an emotionless stare, not really caring what Itachi was going through that much.

"…" Itachi didn't respond, he was in a state of shock. What he had learned of the origin of his powers, what he had learned he was still capable of, threw him off guard.

"Itachi…" Mira called out to which Itachi flinched a little, his shocked expression returned to an emotionless look, as he turned around to face Mira.

Mira stared at him, her big blue eyes filled with worry. She didn't want to leave Itachi behind now, but she knew her comrade that escaped Alegria needed help to survive. "I'm going now…" Mira reminded him to which he looked at her with an emotionless, unreadable stare.

"… Fine, go." Itachi uttered, Mira gave a small nod and entered her Satan Soul and took flight to save their friend. The three former Akatsuki member looked with questioning gazes as mere moments ago Itachi refused for her to go.

Silence filled the room for a little while, until Kisame decided to break the silence. "Itachi, you alright man?" Kisame asked looking slightly concerned for his friend's safety and state of mind. Did he lose even more emotions to the point he didn't even care about Mirajane?

"Kisame, take Sasori and follow her. Make sure she doesn't get hurt. Kakuzu, you show me the way to this Mard Geer." Itachi instructed to which they all looked surprised, Kisame was a little relived that Itachi hadn't lost more emotions, but something was still wrong with him.

"Why me? I can understand you sending your loyal pet shark here. But why me?" Sasori asked which earned him a dirty look from Kisame.

"I simply trust you won't do anything stupid." Itachi replied as he moved his black cloak of darkness, to spread out and become demonic black wings. "Let's go, Kakuzu." Itachi ordered and took off.

"Since when did I allow this brat to give me orders." Kakuzu sighed at himself, he stretched out his wings of darkness as well, and flew after Itachi.

"Well, you heard him, puppet boy. Let's go and make sure the young lady doesn't get herself killed." Kisame stretched out his demonic wings of darkness and flew in the direction Mirajane went.

"Heh, that Itachi Uchiha… he is no fool I will give him that." Sasori smirked and flew after Kisame. "Better hope we find that girl before Seilah."

Meanwhile, further in the Tartaros hideout Plutogrim. Seilah marched down a corridor, with the guards that survived the Alegria curse following her. "Search every inch of this castle, I want that fake demon wench found! And I want her alive! If any of the other Nine Demon Gates tries to kill her, fight them off and contact me. I will have the pleasure of strangling out the life from her body, if anyone, even Kyouka get in my way. They shall feel my wrath!" Seilah declared as an aura of power exploded around her, making the guards tremble in their boots.

Not only were the guards scared of her aura of power, but from the fact that they had never seen Seilah like this before. The usual calm lady demon, has turned into a wrathful woman filled with hate. They felt a little sorry for Mirajane, knowing what was coming for her. "No one, and I mean no one… is getting in my way, of making E-sama mine." Seilah declared as she began her hunt.

Then a booming sound of a roar echoed through the entire castle, the roar causing such shaking and rumbling that most of the guards went on their knees, covering their ears in pain. Seilah on the other hand seemed unaffected, she merely looked around at their pathetic excuses of guards. "Pathetic, can't even withstand a roar from Plutogrim."

Meanwhile, Itachi and Kakuzu had stopped up from this sudden shaking, and the booming roar of the cube known as Plutogrim. "What is this creature doing?" Itachi questioned looking to Kakuzu for answers.

"Let's just say, if we don't get it to shut up. Your guild won't have a town anymore to protect." Kakuzu replied and looked towards a window, Itachi walked over to the window and saw the very down turning to rubble from the power of Plutogrim's roar.

"… Will it stop if Mard Geer is defeated?" Itachi asked, his expression not changing from seeing the town of Magnolia ripped to shreds from the shockwave of the roar.

"No, you need to strike the beast itself." Kakuzu casually replied before moving on, to which Itachi shortly followed after.

Meanwhile, Mira herself had to stop up seeing the destruction of their town. "Oh no… this can't be happening." Mira stared horrified, she had to force herself to move on, to save the town Tartaros needed to be defeated. As she approached the location of the last remaining magic source that shined strongly in this dead space of Tartaros, with almost everyone trapped within the Alegria curse. The source of the magic became clearer, to the point where Mira could without a doubt tell who it was. "This magic power… Lucy!" Mira widened her eyes and speed towards the location of her celestial mage friend.

It wasn't long, before the voice of Mard Geer was heard through the telepathic link he hijacked from Warren. "Members of Tartaros… Alegria has disposed of the intruders. The Face project is proceeding on schedule."

'What, didn't Wendy stop Face…' Mira thought in confusion, when she could hear the sound of water coming from the end of the corridor. 'What's happening…'

"… it seems two humans have somehow escaped Alegria. The soldiers who kills the two of them, shall fill the vacant positions in the Nine Demon Gates. If one of the Nine Demon Gates kills them, they will be rewarded by Mard Geer. That is all." Mard Geer ended his little message.

Meanwhile, with our second human who escaped the Alegria curse. Lucy surfed on a broken plank as the entire corridor had been flooded, while being chased by guards. Eager to finish her off, to get promoted into the ranks of Tartaros. Lucy however knocked them off their surfing planks, using her trusted archer spirit, Sagittarius.

"I need to find a way to save Natsu and the others… or else I won't last long. I should also find the second member who survived that flesh Alegria thing." Lucy muttered to herself, trying to find a plan of strategy to survive and save her friends. She dearly hoped the one other member who escaped the curse, was either Erza, Itachi, Mira or even the Master himself.

She then heard a sickening laughter, and turned around to see the spinning bunny eared girl Lamy. "Promotion! Promotion! I'll joins the ranks of the Nine Demon Gates!" She happily chanted as she span around on the top of the water towards Lucy.

"I'll take care of this milady!" Sagittarius shot arrows towards the demon girl, but they merely bounced off much to the horseman's confusion. "My arrows?!"

"Projectiles don't work against my slippery curse. See?!" Lamy declared and then leaped up, spinning crashing into Sagittarius.

"Sagittarius! I close your gate!" Lucy closed the gate of her archer and held out a new golden key. "Open Gate of the Maiden: Virgo!" She summoned forth her trusty maid, dressed in a black bikini while surfing on a broken plank board.

"Leave her to me, Princess." Virgo declared, and Lamy glared at her with rage.

"What the hell?! A damn maid?!" Lamy in anger hissed at Virgo.

Virgo merely ignored the outburst of the bunny girl demon, and turned her focus to a more powerful presence approaching. "Princess! Look out, something is coming!" Virgo looked up to see something shining coming falling down towards her. A massive shark, lizardman like being toned in a dark pinkish color on his scaly body. He had long muscular arms with long sharp fin like blades coming from his elbows, those blades directed at her neck. One of the Nine Demon Gates, Torafuzar.

Lucy quickly reacted and held out a new key. "Open! Gate of the Lion: Loke!" She summoned forth the golden-haired pretty boy, blocking the strike of Torafuzar's fin blade with his arms covered in a golden magic energy.

"You face my blade empty-handed?" Torafuzar questioned in surprise that someone even managed to block his blades without a weapon at hand.

"I'm surprised that the power of Regulus can't fully protect me." Loke smirked as the top of his arm had a cut from Torafuzar's fin blade.

"Are you okay, Loke?!" Lucy questioned, worried knowing that if Loke gets too damaged he returns to the Celestial world.

"I'm fine." Loke smiled, assuring his beloved Lucy, while rotating his shoulder to shake of the pain.

"Whoa! A hottie!" Lamy drooled over the lion spirit. "Torafuzar-sama, please let Lamy do the meritorious deed!" Lamy pleaded to have the honor of killing Lucy.

"I'm not interested in some pointless reward! I am merely here to do my job!" Torafuzar declared and swung his other arm with the blade fin at Loke, whom merely jumped further back onto the floating piece of wood.

"Lucy, leave this one to me!" Loke and Torafuzar traded blow for blow, neither landing a direct hit at the other. While Virgo began fighting off Lamy, Virgo seeming to have the upper hand in skills of martial arts.

Lucy held onto her plank while panting, from the magic exhaustion from summoning two powerful zodiac spirits at once. Her spirits were aware of this and gave it their all to finish their individual fights as quickly as possible. Lucy widened her eyes as she heard the cackling of a familiar voice. "You are…" Lucy looked up to see the demon Jackal.

"Found you… but it seems to be more than two, and I sense another magic source approaching us. A powerful one at that… and E seems to be far away from here, good." Jackal for a split second had a look of fear, at the memory of E in Hell's Core a while ago. Jackal then smirked and Lucy in an attempt to strike down the demon swung her magical blue energy lightning whip at him.

"A third one?!" Virgo and Loke got worried for the safety of their contractor and friend, knowing she was too weak to defend herself with her level of magic. And they were too occupied with their opponents.

Jackal merely caught the whip, and gave Lucy a devilish smirk. "Surely you haven't forgotten my curse?" Jackal sent a wave of explosions down the whip it wasn't long before, the explosions then reached Lucy and destroyed her whip sending her off the plank and into the water. "Shame that fire breather and that damn blue cat isn't around… I was looking forward to get revenge on him." Jackal declared, as memories of Natsu beating him until he couldn't move, and Happy flying him up to the sky and dropping him before he self-destructed.

"Lucy!" Loke shouted, about to jump in to save Lucy, but stopped seeing Lucy coming back up from the water and clinging onto a plank board. She held onto the plank for her dear life, trying to pick herself up onto the plank. Loke then quickly was forced to turn to his opponent, as he ducked from the blade, avoiding it by a hair.

"What happened to my friends?!" Lucy shouted at Jackal demanding answers, the demon ignored her however and kept on blasting her with explosions, toying with her at this point.

This annoyed Torafuzar. "Don't play around. If you are going to kill her just do it."

"The fireball and the blue cat are already dead. The only way I can temper this irritation is by tormenting her." Jackal kept blasting her, yet Lucy would not believe in his lies, she had np choice but to believe, no she knew her friends were alive. "Not dead yet?"

Jackal blasted her once more sending her into the water to drown. Yet she got back up. "I won't give in! I refuse! Not until everyone is saved!" Lucy held out a new key.

"Princess you mustn't!" Virgo warned.

"You can't open three gates at once!" Loke warned.

"Open Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!" Lucy shouted before her magic power was running thin, she almost fell unconscious but was caught by someone. She smiled as she looked up at her blue haired mermaid spirit.

"You really are an idiot." Aquarius coldly stated as she glared at the three enemies before them.

"You came…" Lucy smiled.

"I will say it again, you are an idiot." Aquarius scolded, yet Lucy smiled and merely nodded. "Stay back, little girl!" Aquarius swing her urn sending a wave of water blasting into the Tartaros members.

Jackal was swept away along with Lamy. "Wh-What the hell?!" Jackal shouted before he went under water. Yet, one Demon Gate remained unaffected.

Torafuzar merely swam through the current of water. "He's swimming in my water?" Aquarius questioned, and before she could react Torafuzar cut her shoulder. "Argh!"

"Water is my element after all." Torafuzar declared.

"Lucy!" Loke and Virgo went in for assist.

"We're coming!"

"No, you're not!" Jackal arrived out of the water between the two spirits and blasted them with a wave of explosions.

"W-We failed…" Loke uttered as they began to fade.

"Sorry, Princess…" Virgo uttered as they both vanished.

The water dispersed around them as Torafuzar controlled it, leaving Lucy to land on dry land, unable to move. "What, summoning three at once was her trump card?" Jackal smirked at the helpless form of Lucy.

"She's used up so much magic she can't even move." Lamy smiled with glee.

"I will end her in one strike." Torafuzar declared holding out his blade like fin.

"What, that's no fun!" Jackal stepped in front of Torafuzar.

"That's right! We need to draw it out! But I get credit for the kill!" Lamy declared.

"Tch, how are you even alive, stupid bunny?" Jackal sent a small glare at Lamy. "I saw E cut off your head."

"That was just one of me, there is still more to go!" Lamy replied much to Jackal's disgust.

"E? Did I just hear you right? You two saw him?" Torafuzar asked the two and for once Jackal's smirk vanished into a snarl.

"Yeah, I saw him alright. Didn't recognize him at first, he's grown a lot." Jackal replied to which Torafuzar looked intrigued.

"Strange… I thought Mard Geer had E's book. Did he wake him up for some reason?" Torafuzar questioned seeming bewildered at all this.

"That's the strange part, Kisame-kun brought him in as a prisoner. Once he made contact with Hell's Core he activated his power." Lamy added.

"Does that mean he has been awake this whole time? Then how come Mard Geer didn't know? I thought he and Master E.N.D had E sealed up in his book because he was too uncontrollable." Jackal snarled in confusion as an image of the cold stare of Itachi, or rather E appeared in his mind.

"My suspicion is that Mard Geer lied." Torafuzar said to which both his comrades looked at him in disbelief that he dared question the Underworld King. "How else do you explain E's sudden appearance like that?" Torafuzar looked at Jackal and Lamy whom started to look like they had their doubts.

"That doesn't matter now…" Jackal flicked his fingers creating a small explosion on Lucy's ankle burning her a little and making her gasp in pain. "… Even if that monster is awake doesn't matter now, now I want payback!" Jackal grinned like a madman while glaring at Lucy.

"That's enough! If you won't do it then I will!" Torafuzar didn't want to play these games, and just get it done instead.

"Hey, whose side are you on anyway? I could always start with you!" Jackal sent Torafuzar a threatening glare, yet the bigger demon remained unfazed and merely closed his eyes.

"This is going nowhere. Do what you want." Torafuzar turned around and walked away.

"You don't have to tell me that!" Jackal laughed as he turned to Lucy whom was being held up by Lamy.

"Anyway, Jackal-kun. I suggest you blow up these huge tits of hers!" Lamy laughed while holding the weakened Lucy up, Jackal smirked and reached his hand out. "Boom! Boom! Boom…" Lamy chanted but stopped as Jackal's hand was on her head. Blowing her head to bits, shocking Lucy.

"You annoy me, if I see anymore of you, I will do the world a favor and blow them up to." Jackal declared while looking at the headless corpse of Lamy.

"You blew up your own comrade?" Lucy questioned in shock, but then again what else should she expect from members of a dark guild.

"Never mind her. Imagine what I'm going to do to you. Let's have some fun." Jackal cackled and was silenced as a wave of water blasted him away. "What now!" He looked up seeing Aquarius holding onto Lucy while sending stronger currents of water into him. "This water won't stop me!"

"Aquarius…"

"Lucy… all I can do is slow him down. It's the same with the rest of the spirits. These demons are too strong." Aquarius informed, although Lucy had managed to figure that part out when she saw Loke and Virgo fade away into the celestial world.

"Yeah…"

"But I'm not saying you don't have a chance. I can only keep him at bay for a short period of time. Listen to me, Lucy. Any Celestial Wizard who can summon three spirits at once can do this. Summon the Celestial Spirit King."

"The Celestial Spirit King?" Lucy looked shocked that such a feat was possible, sure she had brought him to the human realm once, trying to save Loke, but he came by his own choice back then.

"As you know, he's the most powerful Celestial Spirit in our world. He can annihilate the enemy with one celestial strike." Aquarius sent stronger currents to keep Jackal from reaching them.

"But I don't have his key, how am I supposed to…!"

"He doesn't have a key. But there is a special way to open his gate. Summoning with a price. By destroying one of the golden keys, you can open the Celestial Spirit King's gate just once." Aquarius informed to which Lucy widened her eyes, that it took such an act to summon the King. "Not any key will do. If the bond between the master and spirit isn't strong, the gate won't open."

"I can't do that! I won't! All of you are dear friends to me, I couldn't bear to lose any of you!" Lucy protested.

"Destroy my key." Aquarius said, to which Lucy looked stunned. "Do it to save your friends!"

"You're my friend too, Aquarius! I can't just sacrifice one to save others! It's not in my nature! There must be some other way! I won't give up!" Lucy kept protesting, not wanting to lose the person she considered her first friend, regardless of the yelling and scolding Aquarius gave her.

"There isn't any other way, do you think I would have suggested this if there was?" Aquarius retorted to which Lucy shed tears.

"No! I won't do it!"

"Lucy, there's no time… I don't have any strength left!" Aquarius looked to Lucy and looked sad, sad from seeing Lucy cry. Aquarius bit the bottom of her lip, and returned her focus to the enemy. "Destroying my key doesn't mean I'll die. It just means… we'll never be able to see each other again."

"I couldn't stand that…" Lucy cried, her love for Aquarius and her spirits were too strong to break, there is no way she could sacrifice her.

"For me, it's more like good riddance. In the first place I was your mother's Celestial Spirit. Layla. When Layla died, her keys were passed on to you. I was so disappointed. You were a crybaby, a brat, and woefully ignorant. You had none of Layla's grace. But you are her daughter, so I've endured it all this time. All these years, I hated you…"

"You can hate me all you want, I don't care! I love you!" Lucy cried even more, and Aquarius' eyes were still filled with sadness, her heart was weeping just like Lucy was. "You were my first friend… my…"

"How long are you going to be selfish! Right now, you are the only one who can save your comrades! What's important, memories?! The keys?! A feeling of guilt?! No! it's the power to save your friends! That is what your friend Itachi did, isn't it?! Killed his family, just to save his brother and home! You didn't look down on him for it! So, don't look down on yourself, if it means saving everyone! Do it! Destroy my key! You're the only one who can do it!" That last bit seemed to have been like a slap to Lucy's face, like she finally understood the gravity of the situation. The memories she had from witnessing Itachi's past with everyone, feeling the exact feelings he felt when he had to make a choice. Save more lives, by taking a few. Now she was in that position herself, save everyone at the cost of one person, even though it was a person she also loved dearly.

"Enough rambling! You are almost within range! I will blow you both until nothing remains!" Jackal declared as he got closer.

"I love you… Aquarius." Lucy uttered while holding out Aquarius' key.

"Do it! Lucy!" Lucy screamed as she sent power through the key as she sheds her tears.

'Even though I hate her…' Aquarius thought as old memories came to life. "A mermaid! A mermaid!" She heard the exciting chanting from a kid Lucy.

"Open! Gate of the Celestial Spirit King!"

Aquarius memories of her time with Lucy from childhood, up until this moment came flooding back to her at once. Seeing Lucy grow up from a lonely little girl, joining Fairy Tail, making friends. 'You're not alone anymore… little girl.' Aquarius begins to quiver as she looks at Lucy crying her heart out.

Knowing what was going to happen, unlike Lucy, Aquarius couldn't help herself, but utter a few final words as she embraced Lucy in a hug while her key began to shatter. Lucy widened her eyes at this sudden hug, and the feeling of warmth. "Aquarius?" She looked up with a look of confusion on her face, she had never seen Aquarius sad.

"There are so many things… I wish I could have told you… but I will say this at the end. I might have been harsh with you, aggressive, angry… but I only wanted to toughen you up, and not get too attached to you like I did with Layla… so that I wouldn't have had to feel the same pain I did when I lost her again. But the truth is, no matter how hard I tried… I couldn't stop caring about you…" Aquarius was trembling while hugging Lucy, her hot tears dripping onto Lucy's face as she looked up at Aquarius, tears swelling in her own eyes as well. "I will always love you." Aquarius sheds a final tear as she looks at Lucy for the last time with an honest smile on her face, and vanishes into thin air.

Lucy is left taken aback as the water vanished, and Aquarius' key shattered. Before she could scream and cry, a beam of light crashed through Plutogrim, sending the flying fortress tumbling down. And further in the castle, Itachi and Kakuzu almost tumbled over at this shaking. "What happened?" Itachi questioned as the cube crashed to the ground.

"Something big, just struck down Plutogrim." Kakuzu looked stunned at this sudden impact.

And even further in, Kisame and Sasori avoided rubbles coming crashing around them, blocking their path to Mirajane. "The hell was that?" Kisame raised his brow.

"I sense a tremendous amount of magic power outside…" Sasori uttered.

And even further in, closer to Lucy, Mira avoided some falling rubble around her, working her way closer to Lucy. "What just happened? I sensed a lot of magic coming from Lucy's direction mere moments ago… I need to hurry!" Mira flew down the end of the corridor leading to Lucy. She got through the corridor, and saw one image the glowing light left from Aquarius that vanished, and Lucy crying while holding onto a broken golden key. "Lucy…" Uttered, obviously having been too late to help Lucy.

"Wh-What did you do woman?!" Jackal glared at Lucy whom had begun crying her heart out, tears streaming down her cheeks. She looked up seeing the Celestial Spirit King through a hole in the ceiling, he was glaring at someone. As further on the top of some rubble stood a man with long dark hair tied into an upward ponytail. Smiling with a sinister stare at the Celestial Spirit King, with two books in his hands, here stood Mard Geer the Underworld King.

"The Celestial Spirit King, huh?" Mard Geer looked unfazed as he stared up at the giant armored king of spirits.

"Mard Geer…" The Celestial Spirit King merely glared down on the demon.

"I asked you what happened?! Don't just cry, say something for cripes' sakes!" Jackal shouted at Lucy before he felt a jabbing pain in his cheek, he looked from the corner of his eye, and saw the She-Devil herself Mirajane. Jackal was knocked off from the rubble he was standing on, and into the ruins of Plutogrim.

"It's been a long time… to think a human would be capable of summoning you. I admit, that was a miscalculation on my part."

"I see you are holding onto those two books like always." The Celestial Spirit King looked at the two old looking books in Mard Geer's hand.

"These are the souls of Master E.N.D and the Demon of Extinction, E. They are the very essence of Tartaros." Mard Geer held the books closer to himself.

"What are you planning?"

"Like you can't tell. We're going to resurrect E.N.D and then return to Zeref. Now that Extinction has awoken, that plan is within my grasps." Mard Geer smirked with glee, sensing the presence of E, and felt him getting closer. 'Is he coming for the book?' Mard Geer looked at the old tattered book with the mere letter "E" decorated on the very cover of it.

"So you're just as twisted as you were back then. Obsessed with a silly ambition. And trying to drag the world into the chaos, with some foolish plan."

"Silly? I wouldn't call it that. I would prefer you call it earnest. Returning to serve Zeref has been the wish of Tartaros since the beginning."

The Celestial Spirit King cast a single glance at the sobbing Lucy, being comforted by Mira, while holding onto the broken key of Aquarius. "For that reason… you hurt my old friend?"

"That's right." Mard Geer merely smiled not feeling that threatened from the power released from the Celestial King.

"For the sake of that, my old friend is crying?" The sun started to set, and the Celestial Spirit King's aura started making the ruins of Plutogrim shake.

"Let's settle our longstanding differences here, Celestial Spirit King."

"I was hoping you would say that! Because of my old friend's resolve and our contract, I'm going to destroy her enemy! I will make you pay" The Celestial Spirit King unleashed his holy celestial aura, gathering into his blade to strike Mard Geer. Yet Mard Geer matched his power with rosy thorns. And the battle between the King of Spirits, and the Underworld King began.

Mira looked in awe, as she gently held onto the weeping Lucy. "Lucy… I'm sorry I didn't make it in time." Mira eyed the broken golden key in Lucy's hands, and recognized the symbol of Aquarius.

A piece of rubble before them blew up, and out came Jackal. Blood dripping from the corner of his lip as he glared at Mirajane. "If you are here… then where the hell is E?!" Jackal questioned.

"E?" Lucy stopped weeping, and looked at Mira seeing her distressed expression, seems something happened to Mira as well during all this.

"Well?! Where is he?!" Jackal glared at Mira, although when she didn't respond, Jackal growled and Mira's fist began to glow and exploded in a fiery explosion. "Answer me?! You crazy bitches, when I ask you two something you answer!"

"His name is not E…" Mira hissed from the burning smoke, her eyes glaring at Jackal in anger, angry over what he did to Lucy. "Like I told your demon friend back in Hell's Core… He's Itachi Uchiha of Fairy Tail!" Mira gathered her hands into a cup charging up a dark energy sphere.

Evil Explosion!

Mira unleashed the dark wave at Jackal, whom stood there awestruck at Mira's power. He couldn't avoid the wave, he wasn't even sure if he could counter it, he only managed to react in time to grab onto the wave. Jackal skidded backwards as he held onto the wave of darkness. "The hell?!" Jackal widened his eyes as the explosion of the wave engulfed him.

"Mira… why did that guy call Itachi, E?" Lucy nervously asked, her tears still dripped down from her face and onto the broken key.

"… I-Itachi… is a demon of the book of Zeref. The Demon of Extinction, E… That power of Darkness within him, is his demonic power, E's power… Zeref must have reincarnated him into one of his demons." Mira informed Lucy of her discovery in Hell's Core regarding their guild's strongest member. "What's worse… that power is eating away at his emotions from the looks of it."

Lucy gasped in shock at hearing this, a frightening thought came to mind, what if Itachi ended up siding with Tartaros because of that demon? Then they wouldn't stand a chance of winning. And what if, what her future self said ends up becoming true, Itachi ends up killing his own friends because of the corruption of this demon's power.

Lucy dried up her tears, and stood up, she couldn't risk losing anymore of her friends. Right now, she and Mira needed to find a way to save them, and defeat Tartaros. Lucy then to her own surprise started to glow in a blue aura. "Wh-What is this? I can feel magic power entering my body… this magic, it feels like." She was halted from speaking further as she and Mira were blasted with a wave of explosions.

"I will kill you! I will blow you up to smithereens!" Out from the rubble walked out a giant demon yellow furred Jackal with darkness surrounding its claws and legs. Jackal had entered his Etherious form. "What?!" He widened his eyes seeing Lucy and Mira, unharmed as they were surrounded by a water force field.

"This magic… Aquarius." Lucy would recognize this water from anywhere, she began looking around to see if by some miracle her friend was here. But to her disappointment, Aquarius was nowhere to be found.

"Aquarius' magic power, has turned into power for you, old friend." The Celestial Spirit King said, sensing the power surging through Lucy. "Rise, old friend!"

Mira looked in awe, seeing Lucy overflowing with magic power. Her outfit changed, into a bikini top with zigzag design. Frilled, dark sleeves secured around the upper arms with a ribbon. And a dark frilly miniskirt with a ribbon around it. Her hair got tied up in pigtails. But most significant, Aquarius' Zodiac sign appeared between her collarbones. "Yes!" Lucy responded to the Celestial Spirit King.

"May the stars guide you."

"Thank you!" Lucy spoke like a soldier of the Celestial Spirit King, while Jackal snarled at them looking annoyed.

"Dammit! Die! Die!" Jackal blasted them with a wave of explosions, grinning with confidence. "How's that?! Bet I didn't even leave a single trace of those bitches… Huh?!" Jackal widened his eyes seeing both Lucy and Mira protected by the water barrier again. Jackal attacked again, and again, yet nothing went through the barrier.

"In order to save everyone… I need to fight." Lucy uttered as her body lightened up in magic power. "Sound out the heavens, open the heavens… stars across the universe, show yourselves to me with all your brilliance! Tertabiblos, I am the ruler of the stars. My aspect is perfection." Lucy began chanting to which Jackal started to look a little nervous, backing up, as it was like Lucy surrounded herself in stars. "Open thy savage gate. 88 stars of the heavens. Shine on! Urano Meteria!" Lucy unleashed an endless barrage of blasts at Jackal, whom howled in pain.

Lucy fell to her knees, as her magic power had been used up. Mira looked towards the smoke cloud surrounding Jackal, and horrified stared as a claw stuck out from the cloud. Out from the smoke crawled out Jackal, looking to be close to death. Darkness spread around his body, healing him slightly. If it wasn't for his enhanced durability in this form, he would be dead now. "Little… wench… I will kill you!" Jackal vomited out blood, as he picked himself up, the darkness healing the serious injuries dealt to his body.

Meanwhile, Mard Geer avoided yet another strike from the Celestial Spirit King. "What's wrong? Your moves are beginning to become sluggish." Mard Geer mocked.

"You used up all your power, old friend." The Celestial Spirit King looked to the exhausted Lucy.

"Celestial spirits are affected by the condition of their summoner. If the summoner exhausts her power, the Celestial Spirit will lose power, too. That Celestial Spirit King, is your weakness. This is the end for you." Mard Geer bombarded the weakened Celestial Spirit King with blast attacks.

"I will crush you first." The Celestial Spirit King blocked the attacks with his massive sword. "88 stars of the heavens… Shine on! Dream of starlight…" The Celestial Spirit King chanted as he gathered energy into his blade, the energy reached far into the heavens clearing the clouds.

Galaxian Blade!

Down from the sky, rained down a blast attack upon the ruins of Plutogrim. "Do you plan to murder your nearby summoner, as well?" Mard Geer mocked, but the Celestial Spirit King gave him a grin. "Don't tell me!" Mard Geer widened his eyes, as the light spread across all the ruins, clearing away the flesh of Alegria surrounding the Fairy Tail members, bringing them back. Voices from everyone were heard echoing around the ruins.

"E-Everyone is safe…" Mira uttered, both her and Lucy beaming with smiles.

While, Mard Geer glared at the Celestial Spirit King whom began to glow and fade away. "You broke Alegria…"

"The dazzling light of the stars has banished the incursion of darkness. And now I will entrust the task of destroying you to my old friends. What you called my weakness… It's not a weakness at all. As long as I have friends and a shared bond with them, even if I'm not here myself. I know that they will take on that will. That's no weakness. That is our greatest strength. Though to a demon who neither trusts nor loves anyone, I'm sure that's incomprehensible, King of the Underworld. Old friend, before I return, there is one last thing I can do for you." The Celestial Spirit King smiled at Lucy, and vanished in a bright light.

"Celestial Spirit King!" Mard Geer reached out, although then his hand began turning to stone. His while body began turning to stone. "What is this? Does he intend to halt Mard Geer? This is the last thing you could do, Celestial Spirit King? But know this, this grudge, will be directed against those humans." Mard Geer managed to utter before his body had completely turned to stone. Yet it didn't take long for the stone around his body to crack, but he would remain trapped for a short while longer.

"Mard Geer…" Jackal uttered sensing that Mard Geer's power faded, and then he glared at the two young female wizards before him. "You…! I will make sure you will both die, and it will be slow and painful." Jackal raised his massive claw, his jaw spread into a smirk showing his fangs.

Regulus Impact!

Jackal was stricken by a wave of light, as a golden figure appeared before Lucy and Mira. Loke, the Lion spirit, glared at Jackal with pure rage. He punched his fist in air, sending a second wave of light into Jackal's jaw sending him falling onto his back. "Loke? But Lucy is out of magic power…" Mira uttered looking surprised at seeing Loke.

"I came through using my own magic. She won't be affected by it." Loke threw a barrage set of punches, sending multiple light waves blasting into Jackal. "To avenge Aquarius, as the leader of the Zodiac's, I will take you down!"

Lucy opened her eyes, hearing Aquarius' name. "Aquarius… Loke… is Aquarius alright? Is she back in the Celestial world?" Lucy frantically asked, Loke merely looked away while trembling.

"I see, so she didn't tell you…" Loke uttered, realizing what had happened.

"W-What do you mean? Aquarius said she would just get a new key, and…" Lucy looked horrified, seeming to understand what Loke was getting at, but refused to accept it.

"Lucy, I'm sorry… but. When a Celestial Spirit's key is broken, they die and become one with the stars." Loke revealed, and Lucy's eyes widened like saucers, she grabbed a hold of Aquarius' broken key. Tears streaming down her cheeks. Aquarius had given her life, so that Lucy could save everyone else.

"No… no… it can't be… Aquarius… Aquarius!" Lucy cried as her weakened body laid on the ground.

"Lucy… I'm sorry." Mira shed tears, feeling Lucy's sadness and sorrow. She then turned to assist Loke, although noticed something from the corner of her eye. She swiftly turned around to block a strike from Torafuzar.

"To think this would happen. Jackal you fool!" Torafuzar swung his fin blade at Mira, Mira ducked from the blade, and delivered a kick to the demon's gut sending him skidding backwards a bit. Torafuzar charged right back, although was then bombarded with a series of rocks.

"Found you…" A voice filled with malice reached Mira, it sent shivers down to her spine. Mira turned around and saw Seilah standing on top of some ruins while smiling down upon Mira, with an aura filled with killer intent.

"Seilah, what is the meaning of this?" Torafuzar growled.

"Stay out of this, she is my prey. If you get in my way, I will kill you myself!" Seilah cruelly declared, sending shivers down Torafuzar's spine and making him back up in fear over seeing the angered look in Seilah's eyes. Seilah gracefully landed before Mira, a crazed grin spread across her face. "Time to finish what we started."

Torafuzar didn't want to argue, and decided to go in for the kill on Lucy. Although was met with an elbow strike of iron. Gajeel arrived, grinning as he saw Torafuzar's stunned facial expression. "Gajeel…" Lucy uttered, barely seeing the iron dragon slayer through her tears.

"How? These two are supposed to be the only ones left!" Torafuzar looked confused, yet Gajeel stood there glaring at him.

"It seems Alegria has been broken. What an unexpected turn of events." Out from the shadows over Gajeel, came a skeleton dressed in a black cloak. "Still… the fairies are fated to be annihilated!" The skeleton, Keyes one of the Nine Demon Gates, raised his staff that let out a glow. Although a wave of water countered his assault.

Water Nebula

Juvia sent the skeleton stepping back next to Torafuzar. "Juvia won't forgive those that lay a finger on her friends." The air froze, as a man dressed in armor with the words "Absolute Zero" on the chest plate appeared. He had short black spiky hair, with thin sideburns reaching down to the stubble. He had black eyes, and cross silver earrings. He had a sharp face, marked facial features and slight wrinkles under his eyes. He also had a long scar extending from his hairline to his lower left ear.

"Freeze." The armored man, known as Silver, froze Juvia's water in an instant, although the ice shattered before reaching Juvia. Gray jumped down from a broken bridge over them.

"I won't let you." Gray glared at Silver.

"He canceled out Silver's ice…" Keyes uttered in surprise.

Silver looked amused at Gray, whom looked stunned getting a feeling he had seen him somewhere before. Although a new figure leaped in between them, the same demon that attacked Laxus and his group, only this time he looked like a tall dark-skinned man. Flames erupted around the Fairy Tail group, although it then moved away from them and into a single spot. "My flames are being sucked up?" Tempester questioned, seeing the pink haired Natsu sucking in the flames.

"I don't know what all went on, but you saved my ass, Lucy. And it seems, it wasn't easy…" Natsu eyed the broken golden key Lucy held in her hands while crying, recognizing the symbol as Aquarius'. "That decides it… I'm gonna beat all you demons into a pulp!" Natsu's body ignited in a brilliant blaze of fire.

"We'll take care of the rest." Juvia assured the crying Lucy.

"You just rest." Gray said as they all gathered in a circle around Lucy. Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, Juvia, Mira and Loke. And surrounding them were, Tempester, Silver, Torafuzar, Keyes, Seilah and Jackal.

"I'm fired up now…" Natsu snarled at the demons, for the pain they caused Lucy, he was going to make sure they would pay the price.

"So many Demon Gates in one place, who wants who?" Gajeel glared at the surrounding demons, trying to pick out a target.

"Face is gone, and their flying fortress crashed. You guys are fresh out of tricks." Natsu declared, yet Silver merely smirked at all this.

"You are…" Gray uttered, eyeing Silver feeling that he had met him somewhere before.

"He's the guy who froze the giant's village!" Natsu declared.

"Hey, that guy smells a lot like you." Gajeel pointed out, his enhanced dragon slayer senses couldn't help but notice the similar scent between Gray and this Silver.

"The same parfum as Gray-sama?!" Juvia questioned.

Silver then in a surprise move, flew at Gray and snatched him out from the circle. "I will be taking this one." Silver smirked.

"What?!" Gray questioned as Silver and he vanished in a flash.

"They're gone." Gajeel sweated a little at that speed.

"Gray-sama!" Juvia looked in concern as her darling had vanished from her once again.

"Very curious…" Keyes snickered, intrigued at this development.

"Turning your backs on us, you must be quite confident in yourselves." Tempester eyed the Fairy Tail group, all to taken aback at Silver snatching Gray away to focus on them "Twirl." Suddenly they were surrounded by a massive whirlwind blowing them all around.

Tempester then heard a stomping sound, like a nail struck through the ground and approached him. He widened his eyes seeing Gajeel, his entire body covered in iron. "Like a little breeze would work on iron."

Iron Dragon Club!

Gajeel's hand turned into a club of iron and expanded, although Torafuzar jumped in and blocked the strike. Juvia and Natsu attacked Keyes, yet their attacks faced through him. "A water wielder, how curious." Keyes snickered as he blasted Juvia back, and Torafuzar slammed Gajeel back as well.

"Rumble!" A lightning bolt struck down upon Natsu. Natsu leaped out from the lighting and Gajeel and Juvia charged with him at Keyes, Torafuzar and Tempester.

Evil Explosion!

Mirajane blasted Seilah with a wave of darkness, yet the demon avoided the blast, and bombarded her with levitating rocks. "Perish, human filth." Seilah snarled at Mira whom punched the rocks to pieces.

While, Loke jumped away from waves of Explosion from Jackal. "Did you know?" Loke asked the giant Jackal that ran after him like a wild animal.

"Know what?" Jackal snarled, wanting to kill this spirit so that he could kill Natsu.

"Lions eat jackals, as the Lion spirit, I will crush you!" Loke declared and blasted Jackal with a wave of light.

Meanwhile, with Porlyusica

The pink haired old hermit woman, Porlyusica the guild's personal healer. Was busy with Makarov treating the injured, although Makarov was about to leave to unleash the light, as the ghost of Hades instructed. "Ah!" Porlyusica gasped, gaining Makarov's attention before he left. "Yajima… Yajima!" Porlyusica began shaking their old companion, yet he didn't move.

"What's wrong?!" Makarov rushed over to Porlyusica, and froze as he saw Yajima looking rather pale. "Yajima? Oy, Yajima! What happened?!" Makarov looked towards Porlyusica for answers.

Porlyusica looked away, and put a blanket over Yajima's body. "He's dead…" Porlyusica confirmed, her body trembling.

"Y-Yajima…" Makarov's eyes widened like saucers that one of his old teammates had died. "Did the infection kill him…?" Makarov clenched his fists, struggling to hold back his tears of sorrow.

"Yes… huh?" Porlyusica noticed something about Laxus and the rest of the Thunder God Tribe. "Don't tell me…"

"What? What?!" Makarov looked confused.

"Yajima… he must have… supplied what magic power he had left, to Laxus and the rest… to ease their pain." Porlyusica looked shocked as she saw Laxus and the others breathing a little easier than before.

"Yajima…" Makarov looked to his dead friend.

"If an old man like me… can give his life to save the next generation of wizards. Then, I proudly do so. I have lived my life, I have reached my end. These youngsters have their whole life ahead of them. I entrust the future to them. You have raised a fine bunch of wizards…Maki." It was like they could hear Yajima's voice echoing in the wind, it was like they could see his smiling face as he walked into the light.

Makarov trembled, his fists clenched, and a trail of tears ran down his eyes as he mourned his friend along with Porlyusica. "Thank you, my friend… for saving my children… and my foolish grandson." Makarov gave his final words of thanks to Yajima, before rushing off to Magnolia. "Take care of them, Porlyusica!" Makarov shouted as he ran.

"… Of course, you old fool. Go and do what you must." Porlyusica smiled, while a trail of tears ran down her wrinkled cheek. Neither of them noticing Laxus' right hand twitch and ball into a fist, with a spark of lighting surging through his fist.

Meanwhile, with Wendy, Carla and Doranbolt. "Ah!" Wendy gasped as she woke up, looking confused as to why she was still alive.

"Wendy!" A familiar voice called out, Wendy looked to her side and quickly embraced the source of the voice in a hug.

"Carla!" Wendy cried while hugging her Exceed companion, and friend.

"How are we alive? Face exploded didn't it?" Wendy questioned, to which Carla looked over to a corner to see Doranbolt. He was leaning up against a stone wall, sweating as he held his shirt over his burnt arm. The skin around his arm were charcoaled and crisped, his pink flesh visible through the burnt holes in his skin.

"M-Mest… No, Doranbolt." Wendy called him first by the pretend name he used during the S-class trails to infiltrate Fairy Tail. Wendy rushed over to heal his burnt arm.

"I managed to get to you just in time… as you can see, it was a close call." Doranbolt let out a weak chuckle, biting the bottom of his lip to not scream in pain.

"At least we stopped Face…" Carla uttered.

"That's just it…" Doranbolt said to which they both raised their brows in confusion. He looked up beyond the hill, to which Carla flew up, and gasped at what she saw.

"What is it?!" Wendy shouted up.

"Faces… hundreds of Faces." Carla said as she flew back down, Wendy widened her eyes and had Carla take her up to see for herself. She then widened her eyes seeing multiple towers of Faces stuck up from the ground.

"No way… but we worked so hard just to destroy one." Wendy uttered as she was brought back down to continue the healing on Doranbolt.

"I count at least 2,000 Faces across the entire country." Doranbolt informed.

"It's all over…" Carla uttered, as all hope seemed to be lost.

"Don't say that Carla. I refuse to give up, I won't cry anymore. Not when everyone is fighting." Wendy gathered waves of wind into her hand, and cut her own long blue hair into a bob cut. "Everyone is fighting… So, I will fight as well, no more crying and whining." Carla looked at Wendy with a smile, seeing the determined look on Wendy's face restored a glimmer of hope in them. Doranbolt used his own shirt as a supporter for his burnt arm, that had been healed a little by Wendy.

'Such brave young souls…' Doranbolt smiled at the duo whom got ready to continue the fight.

Meanwhile, with Itachi and Kakuzu. Itachi halted, his eyes detecting multiple magic signatures. He could see that everyone had been set free from Alegria. "Seems whatever caused all that shaking, undid Mard Geer's Alegria curse." Kakuzu having also felt the increase of magical power in the area noted.

"Hn, so it would seem." Itachi looked emotionless as he blankly stared into the horizon. "Hn?" Itachi spread his wings of darkness and flew into the sky, he widened his eyes slightly at seeing hundreds of Face pillars sticking up from the ground. "Are those Faces?"

Kakuzu flew up next to Itachi and eyed the horizon. "I see, so it was more than one."

"Does this Mard Geer have a way of activating them all remotely?" Itachi asked.

"No, only the former Chairman has that ability. But he is dead from what I heard." Kakuzu replied.

"Then this isn't a problem?" Itachi looked towards to Kakuzu.

"It might, depending if you have killed Keyes. He is a necromancer, one of the Nine Demon Gates. Then there is Seilah, with her curse she could control the former Chairman's body as well. So, they still have a way to activate all of them." Kakuzu replied, and Itachi's next move became clear.

"Where is the former Chairman's body located?" Itachi asked.

"The control room, I will show you the way. Let's get going." Kakuzu flew back down and Itachi followed. They began on their path to the control room to put a stop to Tartaros' plans, they had less than one hour. As they made their way through the ruins, the heard a high-pitched scream of agony. "The hell was that?" Kakuzu raised his brow at that, not recognizing the voice, yet Itachi did.

"Happy…?" Itachi also raised his brow at hearing the blue Exceed cat's scream.

Further down that corridor, Erza supported the demon altered Minerva. Minerva now had a pair of horns sticking out from her head, and an eyepatch of darkness over her right eye. In her hand she held a mushroom, one of the Nine Demon Gates defeated by Natsu, Franmalth. Accompanying them, were Happy, Pantherlily, Lector and Frosch. "He should be able to guide us to the control room." Minerva tightened her grip around Franmalth making him quiver in pain.

"Argh! Fine! Fine! I will! I will! How much pain must I endure?! How much?! How much?!"

"Still, I wonder if Sting and Rogue are alright…" Erza uttered.

"Sting and Rogue can deal with that Mard Geer creep!" Lector declared, revealing that Mard Geer indeed had managed to escape from his stone prison.

"Fro thinks so too!"

Erza smiled at their spirits and faith in their comrades, her smile faded as a sensation of darkness washed over them. "Huh?" Erza looked ahead and saw Kakuzu one of the former members of the Akatsuki, she grinded her teeth and readied her sword.

"Titania I believe?" Kakuzu narrowed his gaze at Erza and Minerva, while Happy trembled in fear remembering this multi heart zombie really well from Tenrou.

"He is that guy with five hearts…" Happy uttered.

"Huh? Five hearts?" Lector questioned.

"H-He kills other people and steals their hearts to live longer… Natsu fought him on Tenrou island seven years ago." Happy revealed, which earned him a look from the masked bounty hunter.

"Oh? Tell me blue cat, how is the Salamander doing?" Kakuzu hadn't forgotten that Natsu destroyed one of his hearts back then. Although, he knew as things were now he probably wouldn't get revenge.

"So, he is a demon of the Books of Zeref?" Pantherlily questioned seeing as Kakuzu was with Tartaros.

"Indeed, I am known as E.K, Etherious Kakuzu, one of the demons of the Books of Zeref. Although, I no longer work for Tartaros." Kakuzu revealed to which they all looked in confusion.

"Then who do you work for?" Erza questioned, still ready to fight if needed.

"I don't work for anyone at the moment, although I have picked a side." Kakuzu looked to his side, and the sound of footsteps were heard. Erza, Minerva, Happy, Pantherlily all widened their eyes in horror.

"Onii-san…?" Erza uttered seeing Itachi, his eyes were empty and cold. But what disturbed them the most, was the darkness around his body. The high collared cloak of darkness surrounding his body, his arms covered in darkness with his hands now looking like black demonic claws. His lower body also covered in darkness with his feet looking like demonic talons. Black lines going up from his neck over his eyes, a pair of black horns sticking out from his forehead, and what stood out the most was the letter E in the center of his chest.

"Erza, I'm glad to see you are alright." Itachi spoke in a monotone, and the blank emotionless stare didn't change, his eyes still looking cold and emotionless. "But, why is she here?" Itachi eyed Minerva, and instantly charged at her, forming his arm into a blade of darkness. His eyes filled with killer intent as he went in for the kill.

His strike however was blocked by Erza's Ethernano enhanced sword. "Stop! She isn't our enemy anymore!" Erza tries to plea to Itachi, knowing he was in the same situation as he was against the seven dragons, or perhaps even worse.

Despite Erza's words, the only thing going through Itachi's head was the pain Minerva caused them during the Grand Magic Games. "Get out of my way." Itachi pushed Erza aside with such force that she was slammed into the wall, she grunted as she felt something snap. Itachi reverts the blade back into a claw, and raises it high ready to strike the petrified Minerva. Whom seemed to have accepted her fate.

Although his hand was surprisingly halted by Kakuzu. "Cool it, take a look at what you just did." Kakuzu pointed towards Erza, Itachi widened his eyes a little as it seemed Erza had dislocated her shoulder from that push earlier.

Itachi quickly rushes up to Erza, and gently picks her up. "I-I'm sorry…" Itachi apologized as he put her shoulder back in place causing her to yelp a little in pain. "Tell me then… what happened?"

Erza went on to explain the whole story, on how Minerva had changed her ways after their fight. How her father harshly raised her to follow his belief on how the weak die and the strong survive. and how they encountered Mard Geer but Sting and Rogue came to the rescue to bring Minerva back to Sabertooth. And how the two twin dragon slayers of Saber are now fighting the Underworld King.

"Well, Uchiha? Are you going to kill her? Or are you going to let her try and redeem herself, like you did with me and Sasori?" Kakuzu asked to which Itachi sighed and rubbed his temple.

"Very well, I won't kill her. But if she tries anything I won't hesitate." Itachi warns and then eyes the mushroom in her hand. He snatches it away and glares into the one eye on the Mushroom.

"Ah?! You are…" Franmalth uttered and sees the E mark on Itachi's chest. "E-sama…!"

"Who are you?" Itachi asks the little Franmalth whom nervously sweats.

"I-I am Franmalth, one of the Nine Demon Gates sire. Y-You have never meet me, but I have heard about you from lady Kyouka and Seilah! You are like a God to us! Please help me, mighty E-sama, help me-" Itachi squashes Franmalth without a second of hesitation, ending the demon's life.

"Why did you do that? He was going to show us the way to the control room…" Minerva looked confused, clearly having told that part to Itachi.

"Kakuzu here knows the way, and will show us. We have no need for a useless mushroom. Better to get rid of him right away." Itachi coldly declared and turned around to Kakuzu.

"Onii-san… that demon, just called you…" Erza uttered with wide eyes of fear.

"… I'm a demon of the Books of Zeref, E, the Demon of Extinction. Zeref revived me by making me into one of his demons." Itachi revealed to which they all looked in shock, eyes wide like saucers as they stared at Itachi. "Right now I'm apparently in my Partially transformed state. And in me there is a second personality, that persona is E."

Erza had to admit, she had her suspicions, but she didn't think that it was actually true. She shed a few tears, as she couldn't even imagine how Itachi really felt about all of this now. "E's power of darkness is corrupting his mind. It is eating away at his emotions, although his love for you and the She-Devil seems to be intact." Kakuzu revealed to Erza, Erza took this as a confirmation that Mira was safe at least, she couldn't help but wonder how she took it. How will the others take it?

"Itachi… what about us? Do you feel anything to us?" Happy looked up at Itachi, with Pantherlily, Lector and Frosch behind him. Itachi merely acknowledged them with a single glance, the emotionless stare confirmed it, he felt nothing towards them now. "No way… then what about Natsu? Gray? Lucy? Wendy? Carla? Master? Do you feel nothing towards them either?" Happy trembled a little, almost on the verge of tears.

"…" Itachi didn't respond and merely rubbed his temple, wondering why he felt nothing towards them. Although something sparked in him, regarding Gray and Natsu. "Gray… Natsu… act like foolish little brothers. Like Sasuke…" Itachi uttered what came to mind when he thought of them, showing something still remained in him besides his love for Erza and Mira. "Wendy… Lucy… Carla… Happy, are teammates… Laxus… rival. Makarov… father figure" Itachi twitches his eyes as sweat poured down from his head, trying to resurface some emotions, although he quickly returned to his emotionless empty look. But at least they saw, it wasn't all gone, not yet at least. "Kakuzu, let's get going, I'm starting to get a headache."

"Yeah, follow me." Kakuzu lead the way and they all followed.

Further away in the ruins of Tartaros, Gray was dropped to the ground like a piece of meat and Silver landed right before him. Gray backed up a little, not to get too close to his opponent. Silver then went on to reveal about the Faces, and how there were a total of 3,000 Faces around the country. "3,000 Faces? Damn that council, for making such a weapon…" Gray mumbled to himself, and sent a glare at Silver. "So, did you bring me all the way out here just to tell me that?"

"Oh, please…" Silver merely smiled at Gray, making the ice wizard feel uneasy as the tension in the air grew. "I thought maybe I would be able to see a look of despair on your face."

"Heh, sorry, not feelin' it."

"Well that is too bad. Just killing your right away wouldn't be any fun at all." Silver shrugged, and something clicked in Gray's head.

"You know me, don't you?" Gray had been wondering about this, ever since he first laid eyes on Silver.

"Yes, I know very well." Silver grew a smirk across his face.

"Same with me… your face… your voice…. I know them well. I know them, but they belong to someone else. Who are you?!" Gray felt his anger rise, this person reminded him of someone long gone. "Answer me, who are you?!"

"I think you have an idea, don't you? I am… your father." Silver smirked and a silence filled the space around them, as merely the sound of the wind was heard.

"You are my old man? That's can't be. My dad is dead! I saw it with my own eyes! Deliora killed him!" Gray sent death glares at Silver, being reminded of the most horrific day of his life.

"My name is Silver Fullbuster. I'm your father." Silver declared, as Gray screamed in anger refusing to believe it. Gray sent ice swords flying at Silver, yet he deflected the attacks no problem and sent Gray skidding backwards while at it.

"There is no way, that my dad is alive!"

Silver began laughing at Gray's reaction, and his expression of anger. "This is the stuff. That is just how I imagined you would look." Silver laughed and the knocked down Gray, crawling back up. "That I am your father is no lie. Although it is a bit more complicated than that."

"What do you mean?!" Gray spoke in confusion.

"To you, my existence is much more important now. We're destined to fight!" Silver declared with a look of malic on his face, and with a dark demonic like aura flaring around him.

"We're destined to fight, you say?!" Gray shot another wave of ice, yet Silver countered it like it was nothing.

"Now, where should I begin with this story? Oh I know, I will tell you about this body. This body is a vessel. It's a corpse that happened to be around." Gray widened his eyes in realization on what Silver meant, and the pieces began falling into place. "The members of Tartaros are all demons from the Books of Zeref. Of course, that includes me. My true form isn't a human. But there are a lot of inconveniences in going around in the form of a demon. That's why I usually take the form of a human. And when I was going to choose a human for that task, there happened to be a fine corpse nearby. I've been using this body ever since. I thought getting this body was a coincidence. But without a doubt, it was a stroke of fate. You don't know how patiently I've waited for the day to kill you with my own hands." Silver told his story, to which Gray gritted his teeth in anger and slammed his fist into a piece of rubble.

"Don't fuck around with me, you bastard! You've taken my father's body? You've given me a reason to hate you, but you don't seem to have any reason to hate me!" Gray declared to which Silver frowned a little.

"Wrong. I won't be satisfied until I murder all of Ur's disciples. See, I was sealed away for ten years because of her." Silver revealed to which Gray at first widened his eyes in horror, that turned into anger. "My name is Deliora! There is no way in hell you've forgotten my name!"

"No way… Ur killed Deliora." Gray uttered his disbelief, veins bulging from his boiling rage in his body.

"Yes, I was dead for 10 years. But Tartaros had Hell's Core, a physical regeneration machine. If you don't believe me, I don't mind showing you my true form. The form from your nightmares!" Silver smirked wickedly to which Gray snapped, having lost all senses of himself, he brought out all his powers at once, as he unleashed a wave of ice. As a long emotional conflict within Gray, finally sprung to life in an all-out battle against his most hated enemy. Or so it at least seemed, but something in Silver's eyes told otherwise. Silver devoured the ice, much to Gray's surprise as it reminded him of Natsu eating fire.

"Deliora!" Gray roared and charged with lances of ice.

"Come, ghost of Ur." Silver deflected all the lances, and then Gray charged up behind him with a giant ice sword. "Ice maker magic, huh? Not bad… however, not good enough." Silver sank his teeth into the ice and devoured it. "Seriously, that ice had no flavor."

"That is… slayer magic?" Gray raised his brow.

"Since Ur's disciples only uses ice magic, I learned Ice Devil Slayer Magic that made me resistant to ice!" Silver smirked, his eyes glaring at Gray wondering what his next move would be.

Meanwhile, Natsu had trouble against Tempester's curse, while Gajeel had trouble against Torafuzar's natural hard skin. While Juvia had trouble fighting Keyes, as all her attacks merely faced through him, while Keyes mocked her saying that Gray would face the same fate as his teacher. Yet Juvia declared that Gray would never abandon her, hate her or anything like that, which further intrigued Keyes.

While Loke leaped backwards to avoid waves of explosions from Jackal, having learned that touching the demon would be only damage him. Bad luck for Loke whom was a close-range fighter, his long-distance attacks weren't that powerful either. He didn't have that much time left, he needed to finish this, he needed to protect Lucy and avenge Aquarius. Loke punched two golden waves of energy into Jackal sending him stepping back a little from the impact.

Jackal smirked and roared as he stretched his arms up. "Die!"

Spiral Explosion!

A whirlwind of explosions surrounded Loke, bombarding him with explosions. His body was getting too injured, he wouldn't be able to handle all this abuse for long. "Mira! I need your help! Once you see an opening, finish this guy off!" Loke shouted at the She-Devil, whom avoided flying rocks coming towards her from Seilah.

"Got it! Try and make that opening when she is distracted!" Mira and Loke needed to make an opening, Mira needed to blind Seilah for a bit for Loke to create the opening, then they would have a split second to finish off Jackal.

"We won't let you!" Jackal sent a wave of explosions to Loke, Loke leaped sideways barely avoiding the explosions by a hair as his left arm was hit.

"Distract me? Heh, my sight is drained on you! I will kill you!" Seilah sent more rocks flying towards Mira like gunfire. Mira held her hands in an x-formation as she flew straight through the rocks. Seilah stared in shock as Mira powered through the rocks straight towards her, Mira flew kneeling down before Seilah. Just as the demon lady looked down, she was met with a kick to the chin by Mira.

Mirajane flew after her and continued the assault, kicking Seilah further up in the air. Mira's feet were surrounded in a dark demonic aura, as the force of her kicks increased in power. She kept the kicking going until they were both high up in the sky over the ruins of Plutogrim. Mira then leaped over Seilah, her right foot raised with a dark demonic aura around it.

Demon's Barrage!

Mira swung her foot down into Seilah's gut, making her vomit out blood as she pummeled back down like a meteorite. "Now!" Mira shouted bringing her hands into a cup charging up a dark energy blast.

"Right!" Loke charged up his Regulus golden aura around his fists and charged straight up to Jackal's face.

Regulus Gatling Impact!

Loke bombarded Jackal with an endless barrage of punches, his arms moving so fast all that was seen was waves of brilliant light being swung around. Jackal didn't have time to react, as he was bombarded by Loke's brilliant glowing fists. Loke finally gathered every remaining bit of strength into an upper cut punch, hitting Jackal right in the jaw, sending him flying into the sky where Mirajane was waiting.

Seilah picked herself up from a crater, vomiting out a puddle of blood. "Damn human…" Seilah gasped, trying to catch her breath, she then looked up and saw dark lights of energy and Jackal flying towards it.

Jackal growled looking down at Loke. "Die! I'll blow you to smithereens!" Jackal shouted as his curse affected Loke, his hands beginning to glow.

Mira coldly glared at Jackal, whom finally noticed the lights of dark energy he was flying towards. He widened his eyes as he looked in fear at Mirajane, glaring at him with that murderous stare. "N-No!"

Soul Extinctor!

Mira swung her hands forward as Jackal was mere inches away from her, unleashing a massive wave of dark energy engulfing Jackal's body. Jackal roared in pain as his body was being incinerated by the blast. Jackal's body along with the wave plummeted towards the ground, where a smirking Seilah stood.

"Release thy, my limiter!" Seilah entered her Etherious form, her glowing yellow eyes staring at Jackal. "Thanks for the assist Jackal, and goodbye." Seilah swung her right hand up, and an eye ball appeared in the midst of her palm, sending out a demonic energy wave. Seilah took advantage of the opportunity to finish Mirajane off by overpowering her, at the cost of Jackal's life that is.

"Y-You bitch!" Jackal shouted as Seilah's wave blasted him in the back, fully incinerating him and ending his life, leaving Mira and Seilah's wave in a power struggle. Mira widened her eyes as her wave was pushed back, she could enter her Satan Soul Sitri form to add more power into her own blast. But if she did that, the blast would hit Seilah on the ground, injuring Mira's friends there in the process. And possibly killing Lucy as well, as she didn't have any power left. And she didn't have enough time to avoid Seilah's blast without getting hit.

'What to do?!' Mira desperately thought trying to hold the pressure of Seilah's blast back, but it was too strong.

"Die!" Seilah smirked, although then Loke appeared behind her and grabbed her in a full nelson hold. "Wh-What the?!" Seilah widened her eyes, as thanks to Loke her own wave was redirected a little sideways so Mira's blast powered through. Loke smirked and jumped up in the air towards the wave while holding Seilah in place.

"Do it! Mira!" Loke was just a spirit and would simply return to the spirit realm, and in her Satan Soul form, Mira couldn't do that much damage with this blast even if it hit the ground. But this way she could injure Seilah. Mira let out a war cry and her wave blasted into Seilah and Loke, whom vanished into the Celestial realm once again, with a smirk on his face. Seilah let out a demonic shriek as the blast exploded in her face.

The smoke cleared around Seilah, her body trembled a little in pain. She was bruised up from the blast. She snarled at Mirajane whom entered her Satan Soul Sitri. "Now then, to even the playing field a little." Mira and Seilah charged at each other, like roaring demons.

Back with Gray and Silver, no matter what Gray threw at him, he would just devour it or deflect it. Gray finally had the idea of using none magical items, creating ice cannons to blast Silver with rocks from the rubble. Yet Silver merely froze the entire space around them to end Gray's assault. Then Gray utilized what he learned in the Sun village to turn Silver's own ice against him. Knowing from experience with Natsu that a slayer can't eat their own attacks.

However, the ice still didn't hurt Silver, as slayers are quite resistant to their own element. Silver then tossed Gray around like a ragdoll, while taunting him. "Remember this, the taste of despair. A human cannot win against a demon!"

"Even so… I… I!" Gray slammed his fist to the ground, and Silver widened his eyes a bit and his expression softened. "I have to beat you!"

"Ice doesn't work on me. I'm physically stronger than you. And I'm not enough of a sap to be won over by sentimental argument." Silver smiled.

"There's still one more thing I can do!" Gray spread his legs, and crossed his arms into a stance, generating a blizzard of cold energy around him. Silver widened his eyes, looking a little afraid. "Iced Shell!"

"Don't bluff! That magic freezes the opponent for eternity at the cost of the wizard's own life! it's magic that uses your own lifeforce!" Silver seemed to try and argue, and get Gray to stop which confused the young ice wizard, but he kept himself cool and kept charging up the attack. "Besides, Ice magic doesn't work on me!"

"Is that right? Think back, this ice made you into a sculpture for ten whole years!" Gray argued.

"That was before I learned Ice Devil Slayer magic!" Silver retorted looking rather nervous.

"Then, why do you look like you are shaking in your boots?!" Gray declared, to which Silver in shock backed up a bit.

"You'll never do it! You'd die yourself!"

"I'll surpass you! Deliora!" Gray kept charging up to which Silver started sweeting.

"Stop!" Silver froze Gray in a block of ice, looking relieved.

"For my family…" Gray appeared behind him, still in the same stance, while the frozen Gray crumbled. "And for Ur!" Gray's aura intensified as he thought back on everyone dearest to him, encounters, experience, and their life up to now. 'I'm sorry!'

"Ice doesn't work on me!" Silver gathered the ice Gray charged up and threw it back at him. Yet he widened his eyes in surprise as this Gray also crumbled to ice dust, he turned around seeing Gray behind him while holding an iron cannon ball.

"Sorry, but I'm not going to die here! I am the one who unfroze the Sun Village!" Gray declared to which Silver looked to a box with the iron balls, his ice melted off of it.

Ice Make: Vambrace!

Gray made a giant ice gauntlet, to increase the speed of the cannon ball, sending it blasting through Silver's gut. Silver looked stunned as he fell over, smiling. "Magnificent…" Silver uttered, and Gray gritted his teeth, having realized it.

"Damn it! You didn't think I would realize it?! Damn it, why?! You aren't Deliora… You are my dad, aren't you?" Gray trembled, as Silver's expression softened, and he smiled while his empty eyes looked into the red sky, the sun was setting.

"Finish me off." Silver simply replied.

"Go to hell! You're my father, aren't you?! What are you even doing here?!" Gray demanded answers.

"I was waiting for you to come and kill me. It's true… I am… your father. Or was… but I'm not human anymore. I'm not a demon either. I'm a dead man walking… I have been dead for 17 years." Silver said to which gray had a flashback of crying over his father's corpse as a little boy when Deliora attacked. "Necromancer. Has the power to control the dead. He found my body and used me in one of his experiments."

"Experiment?" Gray questioned.

"An experiment to see how close he could get a corpse to becoming a living human. I was just one out of a hundred bodies… but I've lived for so long. Or perhaps I should say moved… They stole everything… They took my family from me. To get revenge against the demons. while being a member of a demon guild, I secretly killed demons." Silver revealed to which Gray looked stunned. "Sorry about the Sun Village, that flame looked like a demon to me… I'd been weakening the power of the demons around me… and was about to destroy Tartaros as part of my plan. But then… I found out you were alive." Silver thought back, witnessing Gray's victory over Rufus of Saber in the Grand Magic Games. "I realized it then. My hands were too dirty. I had no right to fight for you or Mika." Silver shed tears at the thought of his dead wife.

"So, you wanted to die…" Gray uttered, saddened by having to say goodbye to his father this quickly after having been reunited.

"I'm already dead. I wanted to end it… and entrust everything to you." Silver revealed, and Gray in his sadness was overcome with anger.

"How dare you?! I won't do anything for you!" Gray let out his frustration, and realized what he said earlier that he would avenge his family, that included Silver, he realized what Silver tried to make him do.

"It's okay. You're fine now. I said some terrible things. I hurt you. I'm sorry." Silver sat back up and looked at the trembling Gray.

'It was all to make me overcome my nightmare…' Gray clenched his fists.

"You can forget about me. I've been dead for a long time."

"Still… you are my father." Gray's words hit Silver like a dagger to the heart.

"No… What kind of father… would strike his own son?" Silver uttered, shedding tears over what he has done. "Just finish me off…"

Gray clenched his fists as he created a sword of ice. "You just want relief…"

"Please…" Silver lowered his head, with a smile while tears ran down his cheek. "I want to be with Mika…" He sat there awaiting his faith. "Don't hesitate! I helped with the Face project! I murdered former council members! I'm your enemy!"

Gray trembled a little bit more, before he began walking towards Silver. "Yeah… even though you are my father. It means nothing if you're my guild's enemy!" Gray raised his ice sword, his body still shaking. "That's how we've protected our family!"

"That's what makes you human." Silver smiled and was ready.

"I…" Gray shed tears, and in frustration shouted into the sky. "I can't kill you!" He lowered his head and cried his heart out. "Dammit! Dammit…!"

"That also makes you human." Silver got up and embraced his son in a hug, despite his dead body being cold, Gray could feel the warmth of his love. "It doesn't matter, this body won't last long anyways…"

"Dad…" Gray cried.

"Let me stay… Let me stay like this for a bit longer." Silver cried as he tightened his embrace around Gray. "You've become a fine man… you are our pride and joy." Silver thought back at a certain grave in the ice-cold ruins of their town, engraved with the names Mika and Gray, with Gray's name crossed out.

Meanwhile, with Juvia, having been told the same story of Silver from Keyes, she fully realized the situation. She panted as none of her attacks worked against the skeleton Keyes. "Can you hear me, miss?" Silver contacted Juvia through telepathy. "Are you, uh… Gray's woman?" Juvia widened her eyes and blushed. 'N-No… um… are you his father?' "It doesn't matter. There's no time. I'll just tell you one thing. Beat Keyes, the skullface bastard in front of you. He's not as strong as the rest of the Demon Gates. He's a necromancer. He's controlling the chairman's corpse… to make him activate 3,000 Faces. If you defeat him the chairman wills top moving, and stop Face."

Juvia widened her eyes realizing what that meant. 'But sir, then you will die as well?' "What you knew already… Even so, do it. For Gray's sake, too." Juvia widened her eyes, conflicted with this choice, she would have to hurt her dearest Gray to save the world, even if it was for his own good as well.

Juvia kept fighting, while trying to reach out to Silver yet she didn't get a respond. 'This is for Gray-sama's sake…' Juvia fought back against Keyes, while Natsu, Gajeel and Mira each struggled with their own battles.

Keyes then revealed that he knew of Silver's rebellion, and desire for vengeance. But that he was fine with it, seeing as his hate and fury was the driving force that kept him alive for so long. "He truly is a fascinating, delightful puppet." Keyes let out a dark chuckle.

"How can you be so cruel!" Juvia hissed at Keyes with pure rage.

"Father and son… the dead and the living will kill each other. That is my tale. A tale for the sake of creating even better corpses…"

"What do you think human beings are?!"

"Tools for my experiments. Convenient tools." Keyes cruelly replied.

"Humans… won't do as you please!" Juvia in raged charged up an attack, yet it merely faced through Keyes.

Keyes cackled at that responds. "They will do exactly as I please. I'm going to kill you next, and use your corpse to kill your comrades."

"Juvia won't let you!" Juvia was wrapped up in the darkness of Keyes, seeing his skeleton face appear behind her.

"You won't let it happen? Then try and destroy me. The moment he loses his master, Silver will be destroyed, too. What pleasant screams." Keyes mocked as he tightened the grip around Juvia, making her wail in agony. "What are you going to do now, water wielder? What's wrong? You should erase the ghost of the boy's father with your own hand. Shatter their bond as father and son." Keyes mocked as Juvia merely shed tears, unable to harm Gray.

"I can't…"

"Just as predicted, you humans are way to predictable and emotional." Keyes drowned Juvia in the body of his darkness, to which everyone stared in horror.

"No way…" Gajeel uttered at the seemingly demise of his oldest friend in the guild.

"Juvia…" Lucy cried, unable to move a muscle.

Keyes cackled. "The tale of another human is done. Huh?!" Keyes looked stunned as his body began moving around. "What is this?!"

"I won't let you! And you can't…!" Juvia was heard echoing.

"Don't tell me she is…" Mira uttered in awe while holding of Seilah.

"She's inside the enemy's body?" Gajeel questioned, surprised that Juvia went to such limits.

"You can't sever the bond between humans!" Juvia declared as the water in Keyes body expanded, he looked as if he was about to explode.

"I-I underestimated her! How could I let human magic be my undoing?!" Keyes body grew in a bubbly size.

"Gray-sama's feelings… His father's feelings… Juvia know they'll reach each other! Even if their physical forms are gone! Their bonds will still remain! Juvia believes that's the power of human love!" Juvia cried as she blasted Keyes body to pieces, and everyone saw tears streaming down her cheeks, what remained him of him turned to dust as he perished.

"Impossible… she killed Keyes." Torafuzar looked in shock, he had no idea humans could be this powerful.

"Tch! No matter, once I kill you! I will make the dead chairman finish the job!" Seilah declared as she delivered an elbow strike to Mira's face. Torafuzar looked a little surprised at the lack of reaction on Seilah's part, regarding the demise of Keyes.

Juvia cried, whimpering over what pain she caused Gray now. 'I'm sorry… I'm sorry, Gray-sama…'

"It's better this way, thank you miss." Silver spoke to her again, Juvia looked up into the sky, still crying. "Gray's father…" She uttered seeing the dust of Keyes blow by. "I can finally go to heaven thanks to you. And you stopped Face's activation." Juvia whimpered, and clenched her fists. 'Juvia is…' "Don't say anything. Just take care of my boy." Silver kindly spoke to her as he vanished into the afterlife.

"I will….!" Juvia declared as she fell onto her knees and cried.

Back with Gray, he looked as his father's body turned into blue balls of light and flew into the sky. "Dad, rest in peace…" Gray uttered.

"I'm leaving the rest to you. Why did I learn Ice Devil Slayer magic? Because E.N.D, the master of Tartaros is a fire demon. This power… I'm passing it onto you." Silver sent his final thoughts into Gray, as well as his power.

Gray grew a black tattoo on his right arm, releasing an even more intense chilling aura. "I'm an Ice Devil Slayer now… I will defeat E.N.D, and the rest of Tartaros!" Gray made his vow to his late father, his tears had dried up, and his resolve burned stronger than ever. What he didn't know, was that someone dear and close to him, was now a target because of that vow.

Further in the ruins of Plutogrim, Itachi halted in his steps feeling a strange presence. A presence that made him feel uneasy thanks to his power of darkness. 'This energy… Gray?' Itachi was surprised by this sudden power increase in his comrade, he quickly brushed it off and kept walking.

Back to the fight at hand, Seilah looked in awe as Mira matched her blow for blow, somehow, she was stronger than the last time they fought. "What's going on? You were not this strong before!" Seilah hissed at Mira, whom gave her a right hook to the face.

"Back then I still hadn't recovered from the battle against Kisame. After resting for a bit, I regained my power. We will not let you win!" Mirajane kneed Seilah in the gut, causing her to bend forward and spit out some blood."

"With that skeleton guy, and Gray's old man… that makes five. We've already taken down five of you Demon Gates scumbags… You are all next!" Natsu declared as his flames erupted around him, followed with sparks of lightning. "Lightning Flame Dragon Mode… I will crush you with everything I got!" Natsu threw a heavy punch to Tempester's face sending him skidding backwards.

Juvia then began coughing, as out from her lips leaked out anti-magic particles. Causing her to fall over, Lucy managed to rush up to her and catch her. "Those particles were within Keyes' body, of course she was effected." Torafuzar smirked as they could take losing one of their own, if it meant one of the enemy's elite died as well.

"Juvia!" Lucy called out to the trembling, weakened Juvia.

"Juvia wants to… see Gray-sama…" Juvia cried and Lucy embraced her in a hug.

"You will! Soon!" Lucy cried with her.

"Okay…" Juvia uttered, while laying down to rest.

"Take care of her… we'll waste these demons." Gajeel declared as his body got surrounded in iron scales, while letting out a dark shadowy aura. "Iron Shadow Dragon Mode." He leaped at Torafuzar, delivering an elbow strike to his face sending him skidding back.

"Tempester… time to get serious." Torafuzar declared to which Tempester grew fur, and turned into the same form he was when he fought Laxus, his Etherious form. Torafuzar grew in size, his teeth turned sharper, and he grew two fins out from the side of his head. He lost his blade fins, but gained what appeared to be gauntlets instead. His appearance resembled more that of a shark, his Etherious form. "Seilah, make sure to finish that woman and get going."

"Don't order me around." Seilah sent a small threatening glare, releasing a dark demonic aura around her. "Everything I do, is for Zeref, for E-sama…" Seilah levitated around her and Mira, while she charged up a dark wave of energy into her right palm. She sent the rocks flying at Mira, and an energy blast.

Dark Deflect!

Mira sent the flying rocks, flying back and held her hands out towards the incoming wave, charging up a dark sphere.

Evil Explosion!

Mira countered Seilah's energy blast, causing an explosion to erupt between the two that sent both of them skidding back. Mira spread her demonic wings, and took flight into the air, Seilah quickly followed and they continued their battle in the air.

Torafuzar glared at Natsu and Gajeel, the two of them were stronger than him and Tempester. He needed to gain the upper hand in this fight. Torafuzar stretched his arms out sideways, and smirked. "I welcome you, to the Underworld's deep sea. Plunge the world into darkness!" From his body erupted a ton amount of water, flooding a good portion of the ruins of Plutogrim. Fairy Tail members had to climb up high to avoid the water, and luckily the sick were already up high enough.

Corridor, after corridor got flooded by this dark water. Torafuzar then began his assault on Natsu and Gajeel. Natsu unable to flames under this water, everyone slowly losing consciousness besides Gajeel. To top it off, the water was poisoned, if they didn't drown the poison would kill them. Tempester just sat and watched, as Torafuzar and Gajeel battled.

Mira stared in shock, and attempted to go underwater to rescue her comrades, although she was met with a punch from Seilah. "You aren't going anywhere!" Seilah declared keeping Mira away from the others.

After taking on the multiple blows, from Torafuzar with his increased speed in the water, Gajeel returned to his base form as he fell to the bottom. He sank into the darkness, a wave of light shining upon him. His breath fading. 'Damn, if only I could breathe… I could take him…' Gajeel thought as the darkness took over, then suddenly her could breath. He widened his eyes as he saw Levy, having given him air. The poisoned water began affecting her however, and she began to sink.

"How did she get in here?!" Torafuzar went in for the attack, although was elbowed by Gajeel in his Iron Shadow Dragon Mode, grabbing Levy by the waist. He shook her awake, while Torafuzar recovered from the elbow strike. "Levy! Get ahold of yourself, Levy! You gave me air, didn't you?! Do it again!" Gajeel demanded, to which Levy blushed having shared her own air with Gajeel through mouth to mouth. "Whatever you do it! Give it to Salamander and the others as well!" Gajeel shouted thanks to his iron lungs being resistant to the water somewhat. Yet Levy seemed to have misunderstood what he meant. "Use your magic to give the others air!"

Levy blinked and the blushed realizing what Gajeel meant. 'I could have used air magic from the beginning… how embarrassing!' Levy used solid script to make air bubbles for everyone. And Gajeel went in for the attack, although both he and Torafuzar halted as the water began moving strangely.

"What is going on?" Torafuzar raised his brow as all the water moved towards a single spot.

"The hell?" Gajeel looked confused, as it seemed neither of them did this, then who?

"There are somethings I always had a problem with when it came to you, Torafuzar." A new voice spoke and both Torafuzar and Gajeel turned around to see what looked like a shark man. "You never understood, there are always bigger fish in the sea." It was Kisame holding his hands in a hand sign. "And I'm the biggest fish there is." Kisame smirked.

Water Style: Super Water Sharkbomb!

Kisame held his hands out like they were a jaw, all the water was created into a giant water shark. Torafuzar, Gajeel and Tempester widened their eyes being within range of the shark. The water shark snatched up both Torafuzar and Tempester. The shark flew out from the ruins of Hell's Core, and snatched up Seilah as well. it kept going until all the water within the ruins of Plutogrim were gone.

The water shark flew far into the sky, and exploded, evaporating the water in the process. "Yo, Fairy Tail brats… sorry for being late. My name is Kisame, I'm a friend of Itachi's." Gajeel, Levy and Mira stared at their savior, both Gajeel and Levy looking wary of this guy remembering him from Itachi's memories. While Natsu, Lucy and Juvia were unconscious.

"What are you doing here?" Mira flew down to Kisame.

"Itachi was worried about ya, so he sent me and Sasori after you. We were a little delayed as when Plutogrim crashed, our path was blocked and we had to go around." Kisame explained, and turned around to face the direction where the water shark exploded seeing three figures coming flying back. "Figured that wasn't enough to kill them."

Seilah, Tempester and Torafuzar came into view, about to attack Kisame and the others. Then suddenly their bodies halted, they looked confused and noticed their bodies were covered in energy threads. They followed the threads and saw Sasori, looking down on them."It's over." Sasori declared.

"Took you long enough, Sasori." Kisame smirked at the puppeteer master.

To this Gajeel and Levy widened their eyes, remembering that name in particular. As he was the one whom killed all those dark guild wizards to brutally, that it left poor little Wendy traumatized. "You are Sasori…?" Gajeel glared up at the puppeteer master. "Bastard…"

"Do I know you?" Sasori asked, not recognizing the iron dragon slayer, making him wonder why he was upset.

"You are the one, whom killed all those dark guild wizards…" Gajeel clenched his fists, recalling the traumatized look on Wendy's face.

"You are going to have to me more specific." Sasori looked emotionless down on Gajeel while restraining the three members of the Nine Demon Gates.

"Itachi, me, Erza and a little girl named Wendy went on an S-class job regarding a gathering of dark guild wizards. When we got there everyone was dead, and Itachi said it was your handy work." Mira explained and it seemed to ring a bell for Sasori.

"Oh, that… and, why is he upset about that?"

"Yeah, I was there too? Didn't Itachi find that out? Oh, wait knowing him, he probably didn't feel like telling you." Kisame said to which Mira gave him a scowl, while reminding herself to have a talk with Itachi after all this. "Perhaps I shouldn't have said anything…" Kisame sweat dropped.

"Because of that… Wendy! The little girl was left traumatized!" Gajeel shouted at the, to which it became clear.

"Oh? So what? It's not my fault, I had no idea a kid would see all that." Sasori retorted, which angered Gajeel.

"Anyway, we don't have time to be arguing. Point is, they have sided with Itachi, and are going to help us take down Tartaros. We can discuss this later." Mira became the peace talker, and Levy agreed, calming Gajeel down a bit yet he still scowled at the two former Akatsuki members.

"Well then, now for these three." Kisame turned towards Torafuzar, Tempester and Seilah.

"Don't mess with us!" Torafuzar used his super strength to rip the energy threads off of him, and went in for the attack. "You traitor!"

"Hn, whatever." Kisame smirked and waved a set of hand signs.

Water Style: Water Sharkbomb!

Torafuzar was blasted in the faze with an exploding water shark, once the water cleared, he saw a glint of silver. He gasped and his mind went blank. "Wh-What?" Torafuzar uttered before his body was split in two, as Kisame had swung the Executioner Blade down upon him, splitting the demon down the middle. "Oy, dragon slayer, finish him." Kisame called out to Gajeel whom inhaled his breath.

Iron Shadow Dragon: Roar!

Gajeel unleashed a mighty breath attack, that incinerated the remains of Torafuzar to nothing. Tempester and Seilah managed to break free, and leaped away to gain some distance. "Damn it…" Seilah growled realizing they were outmatched.

"Let's finish this." Kisame was ready to charge at Tempester, although then a bolt of lighting struck between them and a figure appeared.

"No, he's mine." The figure was Laxus, sending death glares at Tempester.

"You, I remember you." Tempester glared at Laxus.

"Who is this?" Sasori questioned at the arrival of Laxus.

"Another Fairy Tail wizard?" Kisame raised his brow.

"You inhaled my bane particles, you should be dead." Tempester pointed out to Laxus whom looked around at his unconscious comrades.

"Laxus! You are in no condition to fight!" Mira shouted as Tempester ignited his body on fire and flew towards Laxus.

Laxus didn't move, and merely threw a lighting infused punch into Tempester sending him flying back, surprising even the two former Akatsuki members. "Looks to be in good condition to me." Sasori pointed out.

"Bastard! How did you cure yourself from the poison?!" Tempester picked himself up and glared at Laxus, while Seilah was too taken aback at seeing this. "Whirlwind!" Whirlwinds appeared around Laxus, whom merely released a massive surge of lighting around him to strangle the wind.

Laxus then leaped at Tempester. "You're the one who hurt my comrades! Who hurt Fairy Tail!" He slammed his fist into Tempester knocking him to the ground and then jumping back.

"This isn't any different from last time…" Tempester picked himself back up.

"Bring it." Laxus challenged.

"Very well. Boulder!" Tempester levitated boulders and sent them flying at Laxus, whom destroyed them with waves of lighting.

While Seilah stood there in a gap, Mira took the chance and slammed her fist into her face, sending the demon flying back. "D-Damn you!" Seilah was about to attack, although a claw wrapped itself around her waist and pulled her up.

"What now?" Mira questioned as she looked up and widened her eyes, as she saw hundreds of Lamy's coming raining down.

Seilah landed on top of a tower, she coughed and looked up in shock. "Lady Kyouka…?" Kyouka looked like a young woman with an hourglass figure, and exceptionally large breasts. Her ice a piercing blue, her hair long and green, she was dressed in a tight sui, her hands looking like sharp scary talons. She smiled down on Seilah.

"Hello, Seilah, I understand you've been through quite a lot. But Tartaros has need of you with Keyes now dead. Come." Kyouka called, Seilah looked hesitant, wanting to kill Mirajane. But went against the thought with so many powerful opponents down there.

"Lady Kyouka, Kisame and Sasori seem to have betrayed us." Seilah pointed out to which Kyouka did not look surprised.

"Mard Geer has already informed me of it, let's go." Kyouka said as they both took flight.

The annoying laughter of the Lamy's echoed around, and Mira blasted one away after the other. "Annoying…" Sasori uttered and swung his hand sideways, as a wave of puppets came in like a storm. Blood splattered everywhere, and the sounds of all the Lamy's screams, once the puppets had passed by like a train. Mira stared in terror seeing severed Lamy body parts and pools of blood splattered around her in a perfect circle. The puppets returned to Sasori, all holding bloodied blades. "What?" Sasori questioned at the look Mira gave him, it wasn't of disgust or fear, rather it was a look of awe at his skills. Considering Mira got out of that without a scratch.

"N-Nothing, thank you." Mira thanked to which the puppeteer master looked stunned at receiving thanks.

"No need to thank me, Itachi told us to keep you safe… I'm just doing as he asked." Their attention returned to the battle between Laxus and Tempester, Laxus didn't move from his spot and merely countered all of Tempester's attacks.

"Something is wrong here." Kisame looked to Sasori whom nodded in agreement.

"He's not moving, just standing there and waiting for him to get close." Sasori commented.

"No way… Are you really human?!" Tempester widened his eyes, realizing what was going on. "Your body isn't cured, it is still full of bane particles! Your organs should have been liquified by now!"

Mira, Gajeel and Levy widened their eyes and noticed Laxus breathing heavily, and a trail of blood dripping from his lips. "Guess I've been found out. I will just have to beat you before I collapse." Laxus declared as Tempester surrounded Laxus' body with waves of fire. "You call this fire? Compared to Natsu and Itachi's it's lukewarm." Laxus mocked and charged at full speed, delivering a punch to Tempester's chest, which he returned.

Laxus spitted out some blood, as his chest was bruised, while Tempester flew back. "I'm impressed, although I guess you are at your limit now. Farewell, human. I am one of the Nine Demon Gates, the immortal Tempester. I'm not going to lose to the same opponent twice!"

"That's my line…" Laxus uttered and held his hand to his chest. 'Yajima… I will use what power you gave me well… I won't let this bastard hurt anyone else…' Laxus flared up in a golden aura, struggling to stand back up as his right knee just wouldn't budge. Laxus punched his own leg sending a spark of lighting through it, and stood tall. "I'm going to kill you with these two hands."

"Laxus, this is insane, let one of us-" Mira tried to make Laxus stand down.

"No, I'm going to make this bastard bleed first… If I can't finish it, then I'll let you get a go at him… But not sooner!" Laxus roared as lighting flickered violently around him.

"Don't be so stubborn!" Mira tried to step in although Kisame held her back. "Let me go!" Mira glared at Kisame.

"This is something the big guy has to do. Besides, my intel tells me he calls himself Itachi-san's rival. I want to see what he can do for myself." Kisame smirked, to which Laxus sent him a quick glance, taking it as a challenge.

"… Fine, I will show you then." Laxus declared and had a lighting bolt strike down from the heavens upon Tempester. Tempester charged at him, his body covered in a whirlwind, Laxus blocked him, although Tempester had a stone pillar jab Laxus in the gut.

"How long can you stand I wonder?" Tempester mocked.

Lightning Dragon: Roar!

Laxus unleashed a lighting breath attack into Tempester, whom countered it with a whirlwind. "Demon my ass." Laxus delivered a lighting covered axe kick upon Tempester's head. "You're the one that is scared here!" Laxus raised his lighting covered fists over his head, and slammed them down upon the back of Tempester's head.

Tempester then blasted Laxus away with a wave of wind, sending rubble crumbling down upon him. "Enough human, your body can't take it anymore."

"The one who decides, if my body will stop, is me!" Laxus charged out, delivering a lighting covered right hook sending Tempester skidding to the side. Tempester slammed a whirlwind covered fist into Laxus' chest making him scream in pain. Laxus then grabbed onto Tempester's wrist stopping the whirlwind.

"Wh-What?!" Tempester widened his eyes in disbelief, was this guy even human, there is no way he could be this strong while being infected with the bane particles.

"If he can do it…" Laxus uttered, struggling to remain standing. "If he can do it…" Laxus thought back to an event from seven years ago.

It was as if Laxus was back during the events of the Battle of Fairy Tail. And before him stood a sick, on the brink of death Itachi fighting him against all odds. Itachi smiled at him, despite being in unbelievable pain, and resisted, what's more he won. 'I get it now… what it was like for you.'

Laxus stood tall, taking in one deep breath. "If he can do it… Then I can do it!" Laxus gathered what he had left into his right fist, and threw an upper cut punch into Tempester's jaw. Spilling his purple blood onto Laxus' own coat, and sending him flying into the rubble.

"You are one crazy bastard." Gajeel uttered as Laxus tossed his coat to him.

"Get that to the old hag, it's his blood, give it to her so she can make a cure." Laxus said as Gajeel picked up the purple blood-stained coat.

"I will not die that easily, human…" Tempester got back up, and Laxus tried to stand and fight although a figure jumped in between them.

"Enough of this macho nonsense. I will finish the job." The figure was Sasori, having entered his Etherious scorpion like form. He slammed his black scorpion tail of darkness right through Tempester's gut. Tempester vomited out blood as the scorpion tail kept digging into his gut.

"T-This won't be enough… either…" Tempester declared.

"Is that so?" Sasori summoned forth a single puppet, wielding a lacrima in its mouth. The lacrima was charged up with bolts of lighting, to which Tempester widened his eyes. "Lightning seemed very effective against you, and if I add a little water…" Sasori held out his right hand, generating a sphere of water.

Lightning Storm!

Water Style: Water Gun!

First Sasori blasted a thin powerful stream of water into Tempester's mouth, drilling through the back of his head. Then the puppet unleashed a wave of lighting, electrocuting him.

Tempester fell over, and Sasori retracted into his base form same with Kisame. "I… will… fulfill… one last purpose…" Tempester uttered as his body exploded in bane particles.

"Crap…" Sasori cursed, even though it wouldn't do a thing to him and Kisame, the others would be dead.

"Shit! We won't make it in time! Dammit!" Gajeel cursed as the mist had already spread all around them. Although the next instant a chilling breeze came, and the entire space around them froze, along with the bane particles. The particles fell like snow as they were frozen solid. They all looked towards the sound of footsteps, and saw Gray.

"Don't tell me he actually fought in his condition?" Gray looked towards Laxus, whom now laid unconscious.

"Yeah, a lot happened." Gajeel replied.

Gray looked towards the two former Akatsuki members. "I can see that… What's their deal?"

"Itachi got them to side with us…" Mira replied, before looking in the direction Seilah ran. She had to go after her, and finish this.

"I see… get the blood over to the old lady." Gray walked away, having a clear goal in mind, kill E.N.D so he didn't have time to waste. "I will destroy Tartaros…" Gray declared as he walked away.

"What happened to him…?" Gajeel questioned seeing him disappearing in the distance.

"Kisame, did your darkness react to that boy as well?" Sasori questioned.

"Yeah, seems he has Silver's powers now for some reason." Kisame replied, as their demonic darkness warned them of something strange coming from Gray.

"Wonder if he noticed we were demons?" Sasori questioned, considering they were both in their base forms it would be hard for anyone to tell if they were demons or not.

"I'm going after Seilah, you stay here and bring the blood to Porlyusica!" Mira flew in the direction where Seilah ran off to. And Kisame and Sasori shortly followed. "What are you two…"

"Itachi-san asked us to look after you. So that's what I'm going to do." Kisame replied, and Sasori merely gave a nod of confirmation.

"Besides, Kyouka was with her, mind as well finish her off as well." Sasori declared.

"Right, let's go!" Mira said as the three of them flew away.

Sometime later, at the control room. Itachi, Kakuzu, Erza, Minerva, Happy, Pantherlily, Frosch and Lector arrived. "This is the control room." Happy confirmed and they all noticed the dead body of the chairman working on a magical chart for the activation of the Faces.

"The former chairman." Erza took merely one step forward, and her body froze. "Wh-What?!" Erza looked in bewilderment as her body moved on its own, bringing her own hands around her throat. The same happened to Happy, Lector, Frosch, Minerva.

"Enemy magic?" Lector questioned, struggling to breath.

"It's painful." Frosch uttered.

"This is macro, my curse power." They all turned towards the source of the voice, seeing the two remaining Demon Gates, Seilah and Kyouka.

"Don't kill them yet, this one is mine." Kyouka eyed Erza with killer intent.

"I see, you are using your curse to control the former Chairman's body." Kakuzu narrowed his gaze at the two female demons.

"That's right. I can't control them as skillfully as Keyes, but I can at least make a dead body move with my Macro." Seilah replied, with her gaze fixated on Itachi.

"As long as we get the chairman's approval, we can activate all 3,000 Faces from here." Kyouka smirked, although neither of them noticed Itachi moving at such speed, that he cut the former chairman's body into pieces.

"Then this isn't a problem anymore… release them." Itachi glared at them, both looking a gap while gasping.

"Heh." Kyouka merely laughed and looked at the diagram. "The chairman actually just finished the Faces will activate soon."

"Very well then, I will simply force one of you, to tell me how to turn it off." Itachi stretched his right hand out, morphing the darkness into a blade.

"E-sama, please don't stand in our way. With this, we demons will rule. The humans will be nothing but worthless. So, please, come to us, to me." Seilah pleaded, yet Itachi merely looked at her with an empty gaze. While Seilah still hadn't released the others, much to Itachi's annoyance.

"Release them." Itachi demanded, ignoring Seilah's words.

"E-sama, please, even though I love you so much!" Seilah pleaded, which earned some confused looks from Erza and the rest.

"E? That's all I've been hearing from you demons since I woke up. Listen, I don't care what pet name Zeref decided to give me. I am Itachi Uchiha, a former Konoha Shinobi, a Fairy Tail wizard. You and your feeble dark guild, means nothing to me." Itachi declared, his stare ice cold with the lack of any sympathy for the saddened look on Seilah's face.

"Seilah, according to Mard Geer, E-sama is still asleep. This is his sleeping form that is awake." Kyouka reminded Seilah whom still looked saddened.

"I know, but I still hope to reach my beloved E-sama-" Before Seilah can finish, Mirajane appeared and slammed her fist into her face sending her flying back. "You!" Seilah hissed at the appearance of Mira.

"Time to end this." Mira declared as Sasori and Kisame also appeared. And after that punch, Erza and the others were released from Seilah's Macros curse. Erza quickly requipped into her Armadura Fairy armor and went in straight for the attack on Kyouka.

Kyouka and Seilah were backed into a corner, by the two strongest female wizards in Fairy Tail. While four even stronger foes stood around them as well. Sasori went to look at the chart to see if there was anything, he could do to deactivate Face. "Damn, I don't know how to shut this thing off. Make sure Kyouka stays alive, she is probably the only one who can shut this off." Sasori informed the girls.

However, any further conversation was interrupted. They all froze, hearing a rumbling growling noise. "What is that?" Everyone looked towards the source of this noise, the ground began trembling, the sky felt like it was being ripped open as something soared through it.

And around in various locations in the mountain and Plutogrim, the dragon slayers that were raised by dragons, froze reacting to this presence. Wendy fell to the ground, her heartbeats increasing. Natsu and Gajeel fell as well their bodies feeling like they were on fire as their heartbeats increased. Sting and Rogue also fell in the midst of battling Mard Geer, whom looked towards the noise. "To think he of all things would show up. Has he come to destroy E.N.D or E? Or is by any chance the presence of Zeref?" Mard Geer wondered as this unforeseen turn of events, exceeded his calculations. He took the opportunity with Sting and Rogue down to walk away to a higher spot to get a good view of the incoming monster.

Itachi recognized this sound, it sounded like a dragon's roar. Suddenly out from the skies came blasting wave of energy, digging up the mountain ground around Plutogrim to ensure nothing would escape that easily. "Acnologia?" Itachi didn't waver, he merely looked at the beast as yet another obstacle.

"What?!" Kyouka questioned at the arrival of the Dragon King.

Itachi walked out from the control room, and headed towards the edge, staring at the incoming beast. "This time… things won't go down like before." Itachi's sharingan morphed into the Mangekyou sharingan as he stared at Acnologia, circling Plutogrim. Unleashing breath attacks on possible escape routes. The pure force of the beast flying, sent such shockwaves that shook the ruins of Plutogrim.

Mard Geer stared at Acnologia, while it rampaged around. "It came here for E.N.D and E after all. Does it fear them, and want to destroy them before they can make a comeback? Heh, interesting, E-sama is close to awaken and then he will slay you, Dragon King Acnologia." Mard Geer chuckled in amusement at this turn of events.

Meanwhile, in the ruins of the town of Magnolia. While others ran away from the destruction, and went to shelter at the further edge of the town. One lone hooded figure walked through the rubble. The lower end piece of his red samurai armor was visible from the coat, and long bangs of black hair sticking out from the hood. The figure stopped in front of the ruins of a certain building. All that remained besides the rubble, was a sign that read "Fairy Tail" the figure stared at the sign. A glint of red from his eyes.

The figure reached his hand out and picked up a piece of rubble, looking at it for a few seconds before dropping it. Then a mighty sound of a roar is heard echoing in the mountains outside of Magnolia, the figure recognized the roar. "Hn, Acnologia, huh? Well things seem to be heating up here." A smirk was visible as the hood blew off, revealing his long spiky black hair blowing majestically in the wind. Madara Uchiha smirked, and then turned his glowing sharingan back to the ruins of the Fairy Tail guildhall, examining it.

"Ever since Itachi joined us, I beefed up security around it. So that even he couldn't find it with his sharingan." Madara looked towards the source of this new voice, and saw the dwarf guild master of Fairy Tail. "I know what you are after, and I won't let you have it." A powerful light began emitting around Makarov as he held his hands together, charging up one of the Three Grand Fairy Spells, Fairy Law. "The Lumen Histoire, or rather Fairy Heart. Is not yours for the taking, Madara Uchiha." Makarov sent the ghost of the Uchiha a death glare, while the brilliant light of Fairy Law shined around them.

Madara merely looked at this dwarf of an old man with a blank look on his face, not feeling threatened in the slightest. A malicious smirk spreads across Madara's face as he condescendingly looks down on Makarov. "Interesting. You know of my name, yet you dare stand against me? I can't decide whether that is brave, or foolish."

That's the end for now!

Okay, so, a few deaths in this chapter. Aquarius and Yajima, I'm just going to say it right now and that is I am not afraid to kill off characters. But, I feel like I need to give a reason for these deaths. Aquarius, one of my favorite Celestial Spirits in the series no doubt. But the reason I had her die, is because I think her farewell in Fairy Tail was beautiful and well executed. It was a perfect end to her character in my opinion. Also, because otherwise Celestial Spirits wouldn't have any way of dying. I mean, if they go to the human world, they get injured and go back to the spirit world and can't die that way. And they seem to have an infinite lifespan. And I thought that breaking the key thing was a perfect reason for a spirit to die. Now the question is, what will happen to her place amongst the Zodiacs? Will a new spirit be born to take its place? Or will it remain vacant? Let me know what you think in the reviews.

As for Yajima, I simply didn't have a reason to keep him in the story anymore. And he had done his part, so that was that. Only 4 members of the old Team Makarov remain.

Okay, now that we are past the deaths, let's discuss something else! Itachi is really losing it here, his emotions have almost faded from the overwhelming power of darkness of E. What kind of powers awaits for him in his final transformed stage? Will Itachi's mind be able to resist and fight back against the demon of Extinction? And, how will Gray react when he finds out that Itachi is a demon of the books of Zeref?

And then there was Madara. Why is he after Lumen Histoire? What will happen to Makarov, as he stands face to face against the mightiest Uchiha to have ever lived?! What is Madara's endgame in all of this?

keybladelight: All will be revealed in time, Madara's relationship with Ur will be explored at some point. And the next chapter for A Fresh Start is still in planning, me and my co-writer on that one are discussing a few things about it.

Chrisplayz: I'm looking forward to the fight myself, and thanks! From Ninja to Saiyan has been updated. And as for Sasuke being brought in, I don't think so. Mostly because from what Zeref explains, Itachi was revived by him around 400 years ago, and even though I said time moves different in the Naruto world compared to Fairy Tail. It still moves at enough of a pace, for Naruto and Sasuke to have both died of age at this point in the world of Naruto.

Ultimatrix bearer: Umm, War World is the parallel world of Naruto, it is where Commander Itachi from the Edolas arc came from. The world that has beings stronger than Acnologia is the Underworld with these demons (which still hasn't been explored). And Mira is stronger, but she was still not fully recovered from her battle against Kisame when they were captured. And thanks!

REQUIEMCROSS: Maybe the rules of the Fairy Tail world are different from Naruto. Considering Natsu vs Erigor as an example, wind is supposed to power up flames in Naruto, but in Fairy Tail Erigor could use the wind to snuff out Natsu's flames. Before Natsu managed to manipulate his flames, and went into rage mode for them to burn brighter that is. I will agree on the genjutsu part, and I agree a little on the MS part.

So, both Naruto and Sasuke have most likely died of old age at this point in the Naruto world.
