Chapter 3: Lex Luthor

(Later in uptown San Francisco…)

"Let's see… Alexander Joseph Luthor, is it?" A voice came.

Everybody was working.

"Lex. I'm certain you've heard the name." A voice came.

"The reference from your parole from your parole officer says you need employment. I think we can find a nice place for you in Wake Up San Francisco." The woman said.

It was Lex Luthor.

Luthor had a shirt and hair.

"Above genius-level intelligence. The greatest criminal mind of our time." Luthor said.

"Mm-Hmm. That's nice. Do you have any cafeteria experience?" The woman asked with a smile.

Luthor silently and eyes widened still…

Meanwhile, Luthor standing, the man took his umbrella down.

"The brightest criminal flame of your age…" Luthor said, as he turned around and walked away. "...surrounded by soggy simpletons."

The man walked. Luthor took and stole his underella. Luthor smiled on umbrella to rain.

"HERE, DRIVER!" Luthor called, as his wave to the black driver.

The black driver wheels splash to Luthor's shoes to wet. Luthor watched the driver open the door, the man gave the woman a standing position. Luthor sighs and leaves and his hair is dropped.

(Two trains and a bus ride from Uptown…)

Luthor opens the door, the picture of Eve Teschmacher, Luthor switches up to off.

"Blashed cheap wiring." Luthor said, as he still switches the light is off.

"Don't blow a fuse, Luthor." A voice came.

The shadow switched up the light to the lamp.

"I'm here to brighten your day." Superboy said, as he crossed arms and smiled.

"Superboy." Luthor said, as he was not unhappy. "I believe this is what's called breaking and entering."

"Go right ahead. I told the parole board everyone deserves a chance to turn over a new leaf. Even a career criminal like you." Superboy said.

"Show yourself out before I call the police." Luthor said.

"They said only if I agreed to keep tabs on you." Superboy said.

"You expect thanks? Look around. My prison cell had better interior design. And central air conditioning." Luthor said.

Superboy looked around.

"This isn't a new lease on life. It's a new life sentence. You might nor believe it about yourself, Luthor, but I do." Luthor said.

"It isn't too late for you to do good in this world." Superboy said.

"Is that so?" Luthor asked.

"I'm giving you a chance to prove yourself." Superboy said, as he took and held Brainiac robot's head. "Will you help me?"

"Me? Help you? Lex Luthor, the keenest criminal genius of your generation. Lex Luthor, the sharpest criminal intellect-" Luthor said.

"Its last word was 'Brainiac.'" Suoerboy said.

"Give me that." Luthor said, as he took Brainiac robot's head.

"It put up a heck of a fight." Suoerboy said.

"Yes, yes. I read the planet." Luthor said, as he watched Brainiac robot to the head.

"The robot said something about sending an alert. What if there are more of them?" Superboy said.

"You're clearly out of your death, Superboy. It isn't your fault. You were born with all your muscles below the neck. That being the case, I'll lend you my expertise. Leave this trinket with me." Luthor explained.

"I'm deciding to trust you, Luthor." Superboy said.

"I give you my word of honor." Luthor said.

"Don't make me regret it." Superboy said, as he fought speed through the window. "That's what I'm afraid of."

Superman leaves flying.

Luther silently and looked down at Brainiac robot's head.

"'Brainiac'?" Luthor asked, as he knocked the wall.

Luthor's foot kick knocks the wall.

"We'll just see about that." Luthor said, as he watched the bunker and his new Lexsuit.

(Later at Bayview High School…)

Jackson arrived at the cafeteria, he watched Rocki on the table.

"Sorry, I'm a little behind, Rocki. You ready for our lunch date? The rain has left up." Jackson said to his girlfriend.

"Have a seat, Fuller. This is our lunch date." Rocki said to her boyfriend.

"Gosh, babe, I thought we could go to the town diner." Jackson said.

"Jackson, yesterday a robot from outer space crashed down and gave you a run for his money." Rocki said.

"My treat. Forget about work a little." Jackson said.

"Your cobb salad can wait. Have some of my fries." Rocki said.

Jackson took and watched as the fries were empty.

"Oh… thanks." Jackson said, as he watched Rocki. "Somebody else is probably already looking into that robot thing."

"Like who? The police?" Rocki asked.

"You're sure you can't take a break?" Jackson asked.

Rocki turned her head to Jackson.

"What are they going to do? Write it a parking ticket? The public has a right to know what it is and why it came here. I'm going to be the one to tell them." Rocki said.

"Aren't they all?" Jackson asked.

"I'm serious, baby, I have a feeling about this one. This could be the story of the century!" Rocki said.

That was her beep phone ring.

"Hello?" Rocki asked on her phone.

"I'll try again tomorrow." Jackson said, as he walked away.

"Yes? Hi Mr. Fries. Thanks for returning my call." Rocki said, as she watched Jackson leaves. "Off the record as always. Of course. Really? You've confirmed that?"

"It's no gag, Ms. Mahan." A voice came.

Jackson paused and turned his head to his super-hearing Rocki's phone to voice.

"Ever since yesterday, we've been picking up an incoming signal from deep space." A voice came.

"Oh my God. From…who?" Rocki asked.

"Unknown origin. It's in some kind of code from a language I've never seen. I can't even say for certain it is language. I-I have to go." A voice came.

"No, don't hang up!" Rocki said.

"No one can know we talked." A voice came.

"WAIT! ...Hello? HELLO?!" Rocki called.

Rocki closed the phone and down her pocket.

"That was a source of mine at the seti institute, Jackson. You know, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. You'll never guess what he said." Rocki said.

Rocki turned around and Jackson was gone. Rocki looked around and looked up at the rooftop.

"Jackson." Rocki said.

Jackson at the rooftop of Bayview High School. Jackson watched San Francisco. Jackson took his glasses off revealing and looked up at the sky…

(Later at Luthor's apartment…)

Luthor fixed Brainiac robot's head on the table.

"You're in Lex Luthor's classroom now, tin skull." Luthor said.

Luthor watched Brainiac robot's head turn pink.

"*KKT* Inc*SKK*oming transmission fragment. Data received by Mothership. Location: Earth. Galactic coordinates locked. Class ultra invasive species registered-" The robot said.

Luthor watched Brainiac robot's head.

(Later at Bayview High School…)

"-Kryptonian." A voice came.

Jackson looked up at something…

(Later in Space…)

"Brainiac has arrived." A voice came.

The Skull Ship arrived on Earth.

(Later in San Francisco…)

"Inhabitants of Earth." A voice came.

Everybody looked up at the Skull Ship.

"The fragile balance of your planet's ecosystem is endangered." A voice came.

Luthor evil smiled.

"An invasive species of enormous destructive potential is hidden amongst you." A voice came.

Rocki, Ramona, Bobby, Sienna, Mankowski, Chad, Casey, Ashlyn, Coco, and Henley at his office and watched the Skull Ship.

"Its physical appearance enables it to blend in with your kind." A voice came.

Max watched Skull Ship at Van Atta Middle School. Tommy Jr watched Skull Ship at Preschool. Matt with his second wife: Gia Mahan watched Skull Ship at Mahan House.

DJ, Steve, Kimmy, Fernando, Stephanie, Jimmy, Dani, Danny, Jesse, Becky, Joey, Nicky, Alex, and Pamela watched the TV to Skull Ship at Tanner Farm.

"It is not your kind." A voice came.

Jackson looked up at the Skull Ship.

"It is Kryptonian. Kal-El." A voice came.

Jackson pulled open his shirt revealing Superboy.

Brainiac entered, walked and watched San Francisco.

"I am Brainiac, preserver and cataloger of all life." Brainiac said.
