a/n This is now the start of the Season 3 from the current anime/manga! If you've yet to come through and understand, please know that I've placed the before duels within my previous account! Understand that.
To keep things from getting confused, the only people and things I own are Yume, and the fake Millennium Half-Falcon.
Please note that yes, it has been over a year since I last continued the story, but a lot of other things happened that prevented me from uploading, so I hope this works out!
Kaiba Craft 3 is en route for the rest of the Battle City Tournament. Semi-Finals and Finals, where one duelist will be the best out of everyone on board. Everyone was a bit stressed because Mai, a loser to Marik of a Shadow Game, had her mind sent to the Shadow Realm.
And with their final destination, Kaiba Corp Island, in view, everyone knew that the tournament would soon be over. But as Yume is in her room, in her nightgown, and couldn't sleep. She turned to the Puzzle and grabbed it.
"It's pretty obvious," she said to herself, "that Marik will stop at nothing to get his hands on the ancient power of the Pharaoh along with his Apprentice and he'll crush whoever stands in his way!"
She thought back on how Marik was holding the Millennium Ring and that Bakura lost to his Shadow Game. That's only one victim! That list will continue to grow, and fast! First Odion, then Mai! But… who's the next victim? I can't sit around and find out. He has to be stopped before…
Her thoughts were interrupted as Kaiba Craft 3 started shaking around. She got up, then got dressed and left her room, where she saw her friends as they're about to head for the pilot room.
She knew what disturbance it was because Yugi told her that it was about some boy, but she forgot the name! She went with her friends and saw the directions towards a tower on an island, which Seto said was Kaiba Corp Island.
She nodded, as she knew about it because of Yugi. And since the autopilot rejects all commands, Seto demands that everything must go back to order, when Fuguta, one of the pilots, said that the navigation computers are being controlled from the outside.
The blimp almost dived under the water, but it came back up slowly as Kaiba Corp Island started breaking away. "Greetings, duelists!" A boy's voice said. "There's nothing wrong with your television set!"
A visual of the boy showed up. "I'm in control now!" Seto demanded an identification. "Always barking orders, aren't you? I've been observing you. And it's time I put you in your place, Seto! So from now on, I'll be calling the shots around here. And my first order of business is to put an end to your little card game."
"You'll never get away with this, you creep!"
"Too late for that. I already have!" Seto once again demanded for his name. "There you go again. Well, fine. The name is Noah, and you and I go back quite a long way back, Seto!" He said that it's enough of his foolish games, to which Noah countered by saying that he already began his game.
The screen went blank after, then a water ship came from beneath the surface. As the blimp continues to move towards the ship, it opened up a passageway for them, and the landing function was activated.
I have a feeling, Seto thought, there's more to that kid, Noah, than meets the eye. There's no way some prepubescent punk planned all this. The blimp landed, then was sealed off from lifting out.
Then Noah came back on screen. "Thanks for dropping in, Seto. Time for you and your friends to exit the ship." Seto asked what if they don't. "I'm afraid at this point, refusal is not an option. Thanks to my stun phasers!"
Seto decides to leave and tell everyone to stay. "Kaiba, wait! This is exactly-"
He turned around to face Yume, interrupting her. "This is my battle, Yume. So don't do me any favors." He then faced the screen. "I'm coming to you alone! Any questions?" The stun phasers started firing as a response.
"Care to reconsider your decision?" The stun phasers stop firing. "Now let's try this whole thing again, shall we, Seto? Please be so kind as to exit the ship with your friends." The door opened, and Seto, Mokuba, Yume, Joey, Téa, Tristan, Serenity, and Duke exited.
"I'm handling this alone, and we'll be out of here soon."
"Kaiba," Yume said. "You must remember…" She's not sure whether she should involve her father about it, but decides to tell him, anyway. "I was told this would happen on our way to the final destination to end the Battle City Tournament."
Seto just growled slightly, but then Noah came back. "Now if you'll all proceed straight ahead, we can continue this party." Both of Kaiba's workers were at the entrance and were about to follow him, but the stun phasers fired, preventing them from leaving the blimp.
"Just stay there and guard the blimp!" Seto said before walking away. Then, everyone walked as a group, although one duelist stayed behind without getting noticed.
"Seems like," he said, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend."
The group reached some place, then a circular beam flashed and surrounded the gang. Five big men were at the other end from where they are. "IT CAN'T BE!" Seto shouted out.
"You should know we'd be back for revenge, Seto Kaiba!"
Those guys are so familiar! Yume thought. I wonder who they are.
'Yume, be careful!' She heard Yugi speaking to her. 'That's the Big Five: Gansley, Crump, Johnson, Nezbitt, and Leichter! Be careful around these guys! This is when Deck Masters came by.'
"We plan to give you an opportunity to do so, Mr. Kaiba, for we've devised a new game with Noah's help." Seto asked what it was. "Oh, it's a game you're quite familiar with, Mr. Kaiba. It's a Duel Monsters Tournament, a virtual Duel Monsters Tournament, that is. And you're all invited to participate."
"But why do you want to duel us, then?" Yume asked them. "Shouldn't dueling Kaiba and winning give you the pleasure you needed?"
"Our minds have been trapped in this virtual prison for so long, we've lost our bodies. But if we defeat you in Noah's virtual arena, then we'll return to the real world in your bodies!"
"And now, it's time to pay a visit to our special dueling world!" They all laughed as the scenery changed. "I'm sure you'll find this world unlike everything you've ever seen!" They all see a forested area.
"This looks like some area of a jungle." Yume said. She looked around, and saw what looked like her father. "Dad?" She turns towards him, but he turns away and starts walking. "WAIT!" She chased after him.
She ran after him through the forest, until she reached a point where she sees blackness. She looked around and saw him along with DMG. "Mom?!" She cried out.
"Yume, listen!" She said. "This is where the Deck Master Tournament took place. I know because I was Téa's Deck Master. Listen, you'll have your deck prepared through the card database. But the problem is, if your Deck Master is destroyed, you automatically lose the duel, regardless of how many Life Points you have left!"
"That's terrible! And I'm supposed to survive?!" She nodded. "Wow. Some things I'm not like Dad."
"That's true." He said. "For instance, I could feel the anger within you. Not only that, but because your eyes are red. I can detect other ways that you and I are both alike, and not alike. For now, you must return to your friends… and quickly!"
Yume nodded, then headed back the way she came from to see two Seto Kaiba's, a Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Lord of Dragons on a Kaiba's side of the field, and a Total Defense Shogun on the other side. "So… what's going on?"
Joey turned to her. "Cyber Kaiba, the one who has the Ultimate Dragon out, had all three Blue Eyes White Dragon's out in one move. And this is the twist to their Deck Master rules."
"Normally," Gansley said, "you would have to wait a turn after using Polymerization, but thanks to Kaiba's Deck Master's Special Ability, the new fusion monster can attack immediately!"
"BLUE EYES ULTIMATE DRAGON!" Cyber Kaiba shouted out. "I command you to attack Total Defense Shogun directly!" The Ultimate Dragon started charging up its neutron blast, then released it.
"Since Total Defense Shogun is also a Deck Master it has its own Special Ability: Total Defense Barrier!" A barrier formed around it in the form of Mirror Force, stopping the attack, then deflecting it like Mirror Force, destroying the Ultimate Dragon as well as Cyber Kaiba.
Everyone was in shock by what they just saw, even though neither duelist lost any Life Points, except for Yume, since she knew what that means. "You see, if your Deck Master is destroyed, you automatically lose the duel, regardless of Life Points. And when each of you loses a duel, one of us will take over your body!"
"ENOUGH!" The real Seto shouted out. "I've defeated you five white-collar has-beens thrice before and I can do it again! No matter what the rules are, I'll still take you all down!"
The Big Five laughed as the scene dispersed while Joey told them to take them away. "We've never even left this room, you fools!" Then they all returned, dispersing the illusion to the room. "But make no mistake, you kids aren't going anywhere for a long while."
Everyone turned towards them, though Yume's just watching them and, knowing what's going to happen, stepped a few paces away from the gang. "You're trapped and your only chance of escape is to defeat each of us in a virtual duel."
After all this time and planning for revenge, she thought, I doubt they'd be able to win this. Try as you might guys, but if I have the skills of Father, then you're in some big trouble when you mess with me!
'Yume,' she heard the Pharaoh talking to her. 'Make sure to watch over my Apprentice. I'm sure about one thing, though. She looks like you in every way, save for being taller and a different personality and a change in voice.'
She looked back in time to see that she's all alone. "I'm sure that, if you guys want to duel me, you're in for a mistake!" The Big Five laughed as a hole was beneath her feet, then she fell!
After quite some time, her eyelids started flickering around before she opened them. She got up and looked around, to see that she's in some kind of field with a source of water nearby. She heard a cough, and turned behind her to see Yami. "How did you get here?"
"This is the virtual world, Yume. Now that you're in here, I can speak to you without the need of the Puzzle. Not only that, but your parents will be watching over you without Noah's interference."
"That's great! I can't wait for them. Not only that, but I think you should return. I have a feeling that someone is nearby and closing in on us." Yami nodded, then returned. Yume took more of a look around.
"It's so beautiful! I can't imagine that this is just virtual. It looks so real!"
"Well," she heard a voice from the water, "you'd better get used to this place, because I'm going to make sure you never leave!"
One of the Big Five! She thought as she see a small shadow underneath the surface before resurfacing, showing a Duel Monster. Isn't that… Deepsea Warrior?
"Are you familiar with the phrase, 'It's time to duel?' Well, this is the last time you're ever going to hear it!" Yume just looked at him. "Why, you look like you don't recognize me, girly. Now you've gone and hurt my feelings. Well, I'm Gansley! Former Vice President of Business Strategy at Kaiba Corp and the proud founding member of the Big Five!"
"And yet you're in the form of Deepsea Warrior. Big deal!" She added sarcastically. "I'm so scared, I'm shaking in my heels!"
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" He shouted out, yet Yume informed that he'll lose even if his life is at stake. "My life…? Yume… once I defeat you, I'll finally have a life again!"
"I'm just saying that, for a daughter of someone you might've known, I'd reconsider dueling against me, if you know what's good for you! You stand no chance against me!" While I was a child, Mother told me to intimidate the opponent. And if she's right, then he won't stand a chance, intimidation or not!
"It doesn't matter what happens, you and your partners won't succeed in trapping my friends here! These new rules are going to take time to get used to, but I'm going to manage with this one duel. And, if I'm not mistaken, you'll lose by a certain Magic card that gave you defeat like the last time!"
"Impossible! How can you know what card it is?!" Yume said that they'll duel to see if she's bluffing. "It's time for you to build your virtual deck." Cards appeared in front of her, and moving upwards, with cards replacing at the bottom with the top if they get too high.
Yume looked through them, then picked the ones she knows will help her, including the one Magic card she predicted would make Gansley lose this duel. After Yume picked them out, she said that she's ready, and the cards disappeared. "You still have to choose your Deck Master!"
She nodded, but didn't look at her deck. "When I was building mine, some kind of force was telling me something about Kuriboh being special, so I chose him as my Deck Master!" Kuriboh appeared from her deck, right next to her.
"Right. As you can see, Deepsea Warrior is my Deck Master. Now… let's begin the duel!"
Then they both activated their duel disk and started the duel with 4000 Life Points each. They each drew five cards, then Gansley decided to draw an extra one to start his turn. Just like I thought! The Millennium Necklace Ishizu gave me helped me so well!
Then Gansley placed a monster, face down, in Defense, then ended his turn. "We'll see about that, Gansley!" She drew her next card. "Duel Monsters is about honor, trust, and respect. Not about business skills and making deals. So save your corporate speeches for the boardroom and get on with this duel."
She placed the card she drew without even looking at it in Attack Mode. "I'm summoning Obnoxious Celtic Guardian!" Her knight showed up, looking like Celtic Guardian. "And with one face down, I'll be attacking your face down with Celtic Blade Slash Attack!"
Obnoxious Celtic Guardian striked his beast down and destroyed it. "You just destroyed Ashinigray!" Yume asked what's special about it. "When it's sent to the Graveyard, its attacker must throw out one card."
WIthout looking at her hand, Yume took Exchange and sends it to the Graveyard. "Got plenty of other cards left, Gansley."
"It's not the only Special Ability. It also allows me to summon another Ashinigray to the field." He placed another one face down in Defense, then he shuffled his deck. Then it was his turn as he drew his card.
"You must know, Yume, that the secret to success takes only three secrets to crush your competition, with the first being a powerful work force." He placed his monster down. "COME FORTH, IPIRIA!" His aqua serpent showed up and let out a hiss. (ATK/DEF Points: 500/500.)
"It lets me draw another card to increase my dueling options." He did so, then changed Ashinigray to Attack Mode. "The second is to know your own resources. By changing Ashinigray to Attack Mode, I triggered its Special Ability, forcing you to discard one card from your hand."
WIthout looking, Yume picked De-Spell. "I told you you couldn't keep up with the bigwigs! And the last and most important secret to success in the business world. Always keep your competition guessing! And I assure you, you have no idea of the horrors I have in store for you!"
Hate to ruin your business, Gansley, but I know how this duel will turn out before you make your move.
"We may as well close the book on this duel, Yume. Thanks to my wise investments, I predict a major growth in power for me! While you sink deeper into debt thanks to your pathetic Deck Master, Kuriboh!"
Yume just shook her head, and drew her next card: Polymerization. Perfect! She thought. 'Ready to play, Yami?'
'Anytime, Yume!' They switched places.
'Just remember to play every card exactly how Dad played them, otherwise, we'll lose!' Yami nodded, then faced Gansley!
"It's my turn!" She called out as she played a Magic card. "And I choose to play Polymerization! Fusing Berfomet and Gazelle, I give you Chimera, The Flying Mythical Beast!" Both her beasts were merged to a two-headed beast with wings come into play. (ATK/DEF Points: 2100/1800)
"Then I play a Magic card known as Quick Attack! So I can attack with Chimera this turn to attack your Ipiria!" Chimera started approaching Ipiria, but Gansley had other plans.
"Interesting moves, Yume. But a very poor business decision. And it's time for you to pay the price!" Yami asked for an explanation. "Remember that my Deck Master is Deepsea Warrior! And thanks to my Deck Master ability, I can sacrifice my two monsters to create this!" Both his monsters were gone.
"REFLECTOR HOLE, which bounces the attack right back at you!" Chimera went inside the black sphere, but came out facing Yami, bringing her Life Points down to 1900 and skidded a little.
'Yami, this is tougher than we thought! Just remember that we have to win to look for our friends. Not only that, but if we get hit by another attack with at least 1900 Attack Points, we're finished!'
"I knew it all along, Yume!" Gansley said. "You couldn't keep up with our Deck Master Dueling System!"
"You haven't even won your freedom from this place yet! Remember that I can be a fast learner!"
"Don't threaten me, you little Whippersnapper! You're weak! I can see it in your eyes! You'll never make it in the dueling business, kid! So just give up now and let me take control of your body. Then I can finally escape from this virtual nightmare!"
Yume asked to switch places, and Yami agreed and they did so. "If you beat me, that is. But I doubt you'll win. You talk a big game, but you have no monsters on the field to protect you! Leaving you wide open for an attack. A direct one, that is!"
She looked at her other monster. "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian, make a Direct Attack on his Life Points!" The elf was able to slash at Gansley, and drop his Life Points to 2600. He complimented her, saying that she's not bad. "You claim to be a successful man of business, yet you've allowed your competition to get the best of you!"
He just chuckled. "On the contrary, I led you to do exactly what I wanted you to!" He placed down a powerful monster. "You let me summon Ruklamba, The Spirit King!" His water lizard showed up.
"How could you summon a monster if my turn's not over?" Yume was confused about that new monster she hasn't seen before. (ATK/DEF Points of Ruklamba: 1000/2000.)
"Ruklamba is one of my more profitable investments. With this card in my deck, every time I lose 1,000 or more Life Points, I gain the ability to summon another one on the field, strengthening my staff of workers! So, what was that you were saying about my success in business? Looks like I'm still one step ahead of my competition, Yume, with plenty of monsters left!" Yume looked at him with a stern look.
"It's not how many monsters you have left, it's how skillfully you use them that counts."
"I've been in business for a long time, and I've always had a large labor force. That gave me the freedom to fire whomever I wanted, for there was always another employee who could pick up the slack. And that's how I duel! If one monster has to go, I have another to take its place."
"That's just sad. I'm sure I'll win against you, Gansley!"
"You lost more than half your Life Points, Yume. Soon I'll take over your body, leaving your mind trapped in this virtual abyss!"
"No matter what happens, Gansley, you will be finished instead." He just laughed as he drew his card to start his turn.
"I summon Yowie, in Attack Mode!" Another lizard shows up, with 500 Points each. "Of course, Yowie's arrival forbids you from drawing a card next turn. Making him a valuable asset!" He takes a card, then plays it. "Now I'll play the Magic card, Premature Burial! All I have to do is invest a mere 800 of my Life Points." He dropped down to 1800.
"In which allows me to revive one of my former monsters! IPIRIA, RETURN!" His previous lizard returns. "I told you I've employed an unlimited number of monsters, Yume! My workforce already outnumbers yours three monsters to two, and my staff will continue to grow! So, why don't you go ahead and launch your attack." He smirked.
Yume's aware of what would happen should she attack. I'm at a loss here! She looked at her hand. What can I do to turn the tables? She turned back to Kuriboh, her Deck Master, and wondered what he does. "Taking your time, Yume Orskov?"
She turned back to him. "A good strategy should take time, you know." She turned back to her Deck Master when Gansley insulted it. "Hang on, Kuriboh. I'm sure you'll be useful! And help me for a victory!"
She looked at her hand. Because of Yowie, she couldn't draw, so she's not sure what to do. There's only one risk I could take to make this happen. I hope it works well! "Obnoxious Celtic Guardian!" She shouted out. "ATTACK HIS YOWIE!"
Celtic Guardian started charging towards his Yowie, but Gansley just sacrificed it along with Ipiria to bounce back her attack, and strike her Life Points. She knew what to expect as Celtic Guardian slashed a beam of light on her.
When it broke, she took the damage as she screamed out in pain, but only half as intense. She clutched her arm as her Life Points drop to her final 500.
"You're Life Points are falling faster than the stock market of 1929, Yume. That's two direct hits. Three strikes and you're out! Then you can take a nap. Surprised by how real this duel feels? It may be virtual, but it takes more of a toll on you than the duels you're used to, doesn't it?"
"At least… you're down to… one monster." She looked and saw her vision blurring, but her vision cleared to see another monster. "WAIT! How could you… have another monster?"
"While you were recovering from the direct attack to your Life Points, I seized the opportunity to strengthen my team! I feel it's best to get ahead when your rival is down! So I sacrificed Ruklamba, allowing me to summon Wall of Illusion plus another Ruklamba!"
"So… you had that move planned all along, didn't you?"
"Of course I did! Now, allow me to introduce you to my newest employee! Meet Wall of Illusion! 'What are its strengths,' you ask? Well, any monster foolish enough to attack it is removed from the field immediately and sent back to my opponent's hand. So, you may want to resign now, Yume!"
He laughed as Yume started feeling heavy pain on her back! She screamed out and got down. "Finally know your competition, don't you?"
"It's… a different pain… Gansley! Almost like… I'm feeling… something else… inside me!" She realized that the jacket she was wearing was giving her some pain, so she took it off, revealing her wings.
"What is that?!" Gansley was referring to her wings, and she was aware of them.
"These wings are another side of me. From being born half-monster, I had to have a monster side. Allow me to show you!"
'Yume!' Yugi called out to her. 'Are you sure about it? You might pass out unconscious!'
'Dad, I have to. I can't stop it anymore! The damage I received to my Life Points is enough for a complete transformation. I have to do this!'
'Be safe, Yume.' She took the cards in one of her hands and switched them as she now felt the transformation! Hair started growing at a rapid rate on her right arm and on her legs. Half her face was also changing to look like a falcon, but her mouth stayed the same.
"This is absurd! What kind of transformation is that?!" She continued to change from her human self… to her monster half!
She looked at him after her transformation. She placed her paw down as her hand was switched back to her paw. She let out a SCREECH as she faced Gansley. "Your defeat," she said, though her voice echoed a bit, "is near, Gansley! And it's my move!"
"How can you even win if you can't save yourself?! I told you, you can't win! I'm unbeatable in this duel. In the end, big business always wins. Besides, I've roamed this virtual void for far too long now, and you're my ticket out!"
"You can't make travel plans just yet, Gansley. Not only that, but someone will destroy you if you return in my body."
He just chuckled. "You'll be that much more disappointed when you plunge into defeat." He laughed, saying it was her pitiful Deck Master, Kuriboh. "That pathetic Pompom is useless! I'm afraid you were doomed from the start!"
"You can taunt me all you want. Because I'll never give up hope! I trust my deck!"
"And I trust my skills!" Gansley countered, looking at his hand. "I was insightful enough to assemble an unstoppable arsenal of monsters, not that it really matters at this point anyway. I've rendered you so weak you'll be out of Life Points before my next turn, allowing me to finally return to civilization. Maybe you should accept defeat, Yume, and save yourself the trouble."
"Guess again! I'll always pull through in tight situations, and I've been in tighter ones. And… it's your move." He drew his card to end the duel, but decides to save it for later in thoughts.
"I'll summon Melchid the Four-Face Beast in Attack Mode!" He placed the card down, and his beast came on the field. (ATK/DEF Points: 1500/1200.) "My first order of business is to take down your Obnoxious Celtic Guardian. My four-face beast should have enough power to crush it and take a bit out of your Life Points in the process."
Yume prepared the blow in her monster form as Gansley ordered Melchid to attack her elf, ramming into it, putting Yume in slight pain as she tried to regain her senses as her Life Points dropped to 400.
"You'll be out of Life Points on my next attack, Yume! Many inexperienced people in the business world know when it's time to close shop. It's time to make your final move in this virtual duel. Then I'll seal this deal once and for all, leaving your inferior mind trapped here in my place forever."
I know I can pull through! She thought. But the deal is, how, though? As long as he has at least two monsters left, I'm finished because I can't attack. So… here goes. She drew her next card and saw that it was the Magic card that she predicted for victory.
I need something powerful if I'm going to beat Gansley. Rainbow Blessing won't help me now! She looked at Kuriboh who's trying to communicate with her. Strangely for her, she can hear him as though he was speaking English.
"I hear you, Kuriboh!" She took that card from her paw to her hand and placed it down. "I place one card face down, and now it's your move."
Gansley drew his next card, and thought that it would do nicely. "The end is near, Yume, for I activate the Magic card Offerings to the Doomed!" He plays it. "Its effect allows me to destroy any monster on your side of the playing field. Say goodbye to Chimera, your last line of defense, Yume."
A beam hits Chimera, The Flying Mythical Beast and destroys it. Gansley thought that it's over for her monsters, but she had other plans. "I believe that you forgot about the Special Ability of my Mythical Beast. I can bring back one of the monsters I used to form my beast. BERFOMET!"
A whirlwind appeared, and out came Berfomet! "It makes no difference to me. The end result will be the same once I play this card." Yume was surprised about that. "I sacrifice Wall Of Illusion and Melchid The Four-Faced Beast to summon…" he placed his monster down. "RAINBOW SNAKE EINGANA!"
His snake showed up, letting out a heavy hiss. (ATK/DEF Points: 2200/2400.) Yume looked at it with worry. "Now, mighty serpent," he ordered, "put the bite on Berfomet and the squeeze on Yume!"
His serpent came after Berfomet and destroyed it in one bite. Luckily, it was in Defense Mode, so Yume's Life Points are safe. "Your Life Points are now wide open. I know it's a bit too late, but here's some advice. The next time you decide to swim with the big fish, pack a life jacket because you're sinking fast."
"It's not over yet, Gansley, and you know it!"
"But it is already over. You'll be trapped here after my finishing move, Yume. Your Life Points have finally expired." He laughed. "And who better to deliver the final blow than my favorite reptilian beast?" She heard Kuriboh talk to her again, more about its Deck Master's Special Ability.
"Ruklamba," Gansley said, "The Spirit King, free me from this prison by striking Yume down NOW!" Ruklamba charges up, then releases its attack towards Yume, but she's certain that she'll survive because, just before the attack connected, Kuriboh decided to enter the field and Multiply itself to form an indestructible wall that protected her Life Points.
She knows that she'll survive when the blast hits the Kuriboh wall, leaving only one on her field. "Nice job, Kuriboh! You really know your stuff!"
"I don't get it! Your Life Points should be at 0!"
"All because of my Deck Master. What you didn't know is that I can understand Kuriboh like he's speaking English. Thanks to his Deck Master Special Ability, Kuriboh formed a protective wall, defending my life points for one attack! To keep things safe, some monsters are more powerful than you think, Gansley!"
And with that, she felt a transformation happening through her as she was reverted back to her human self. She shook her head, glad to be back to normal. "And now it's my move!"
"Your furry little powder puff blocks one attack, and you think you've won? I'm afraid nothing could be further than the truth thanks to the Deck Master rules. Now that you've activated Kuriboh to defend yourself, you've introduced him into the playing field. That means I'm now allowed to attack your little fur-ball."
'Yume!' Yami talked to her. 'You need to be careful! If Gansley destroys Kuriboh, then he wins! I'll take over from here.'
'Be safe, Yami. Kuriboh told me about his Deck Master and that Rainbow Blessing could be helpful if we get the right monster!' They switched places due to the Millennium Puzzle. "Now, it's time!" Yami called out before drawing her next card.
"Here's some advice for you, Gansley. Misjudging the power of the small can be a big mistake in business and in Duel Monsters. I guess they never taught you that on your way up the corporate ladder, so Kuriboh and I will just have to teach you this lesson the hard way by eliminating you from this duel."
"How is that even possible?! I bet you're bluffing. It doesn't matter what card you just drew." Yami revealed the card she just drew to him. "Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight?" He just laughed. "You don't have enough monsters to sacrifice! Not only that, but I have my remaining two monsters still on the field.
"I'd like to say that you shouldn't say such a thing. Because who said I would be attacking one of your monsters?" Gansley asked for an explanation. "I'll just have my face down do the talking for you: The Magic card RAINBOW BLESSING!" She revealed it.
"When this card is combined with Kuriboh, a great power is released." Kuriboh now has rainbow colors.
"How could you win with rainbows and fuzz balls? What kind of stunt is this?" Yami just told Kuriboh to form the rainbow arch, and it created a rainbow bridge that ends at Gansley.
"Then I shall summon Swift Gaia The Fierce Knight in Attack Mode!" Her knight with twin lances arrived on horseback. (ATK/DEF Points: 2300/2100. ABILITY: If it's the only card in hand, you can summon without tribute.) "Your monsters are not the targets. I'll be aiming directly at your Life Points." Swift Gaia came to Yami's side of the rainbow bridge, preparing for an attack.
"But how?! I analyzed every aspect of the duel. Not only that, but that's how I was defeated last time! WHO ARE YOU?!" Yami and Yume switched places so Yume could explain.
"Let me tell you while your Life Points are more at risk. Swift Gaia, ride the rainbow and attack Gansley directly!" Swift Gaia is now riding on the rainbow towards the end, to which Gansley is at.
"And to make things clear," she added, "I'm not Yume Orskov! You've been deceived as my true name is Yume Orskov Muto! The daughter of Yugi Muto!" As she said that, Gaia pierced Gansley, dropping his Life Points at a constant rate.
"THIS CAN'T BE! I THOUGHT THIS DUEL WAS FAMILIAR! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" When his Life Points dropped to zero, he was no more. Then Yami came back.
"That's the end of it… for now." She said as she tried to contact Yume. 'You still there, Yume?' She got no response, so she looked around to see her spirit on the floor, unconscious. "YUME!"
She rushed over to her and touched her, to feel that the presence in her mind is still there. "Good," she said. "It's just that taking the form of the Millennium Half-Falcon must still have required more of her energy than what it should be. It wouldn't worry much. The more damage, the less energy required." She lifted her up and stood.
Then she turned around and saw a door. "That could lead to our friends. They might be in grave danger, so I have to hurry!" Yami approached the door and slowly opened it. Once she knows it's safe, she closes the door behind her and walk down wherever it leads her.
And I'm done! Thank you all for reading. Hope this isn't too much for you, but I will try to copy it with the original. But hey! At least you can try to visualize what Yume's monster half is. Next up, another Big 5 duel!
