Tony was frantic, searching everywhere for Peter. His emotions were running high as he tried to comprehend why Peter had disappeared like this, he was very worried about him. It had been a few weeks since Peter started behaving strangely, only talking to Tony as much as necessary, nothing more. This convinced Tony that something was definitely bothering him. Tony had thought about talking to Peter, but he had been busy with work meetings, and as he was planning a date night to spend time with Pepper... wait, is it... his thoughts were cut off by a loud sound.
He stared at the horizon as a plane fall from the sky on the land with a heavy sound echoing throughout the city.
" FRIDAY ??"
"Boss it's Stark shipment, Plane crash, boss. Right along the shore of Coney Island."
Tony's eyes widened in shock as he remembered the weapons dealers Peter had been tracking for the past month and the many times Peter had warned that they might infiltrate the weapons shipment from the Tower to the Compound, But he told him that it's not important.
Tony's heart pounded as the weight of the situation sank in, Peter...Peter might be there. He needed to find Peter, and fast.
Tony's anxiety spiked. He pushed his suit to its limits, speeding towards Coney Island. As he neared the shore, the wreckage of the Stark Industries plane came into view, smoke billowing into the sky. Emergency services were already on the scene, but there was no sign of Peter."Peter! Peter, where are you?" Tony shouted, his voice hoarse.
The thought of Peter anywhere near the crash was enough to send him into nauseating hysterics, as well as the image of him anywhere near the plane when it had met the sand.
Tony wasn't sure he had the strength to take a step forward, he felt broken but he needs to find his son.
He stumbled upon a pile of boxes covered in familiar webs. His heart stopped when he saw the infamous Vulture tied to the boxes by the webs.
His gaze fall on the note beside him.
FOUND
FLYING VULTURE GUY
-SPIDER-MAN
P.S: SORRY ABOUT THE PLANE
If Tony's brain wasn't numb with shock, he might have laughed. But the letter he found made his fear worse.
"Where is he?" Tony demanded.
Toomes laughed weakly, staring up at Tony with dazed eyes."Guess it runs in the family, huh? The whole... super thing. Who would've thought? Ironman's son is Spiderman."
Tony clenched his jaw, his blood boiling. "Tell me. Now."
"Ran like a coward," Toomes saidhis eyes drooping shut.
Tony bit his tongue. He wanted to kill him, but now the more important thing was to find Peter.
"Boss?" Tony turned to find Happy running towards him."You take care of this," Tony said. "I need to find the kid."
Before Happy could say something, Tony went from there.
Tony's mind raced with worry and urgency as he darted away from the scene. Every fiber of his being was focused on one thing: finding Peter. He knew he had to act fast, every second could mean the difference between life and death for his son.
He stopped his search when he noticed a piece of red fabric laying in the sand. He collapsed to his knees, bringing a cautious hand forward to examine it. Peter's night suit. A piece of it, anyway. A small, blood-stained square of torn fabric, and suddenly, Tony felt like his life falling apart
He sucked in a breath and rose back to his feet, blinking away panicked tears.
"Peter! Peter!"
Tony felt something crunch beneath him. He had been stepping on debris since he landed, but something told him to lift his boot.
Peter's watch.
Tony knelt down to pick it up. The screen was cracked, and a blinking light in the corner of the screen told Tony that the watch was recording, that's mean it had recorded everything that had happened here and that's made him more anxious by thinking what may be in the footage.
Tony stared down at the watch with glassy eyes at the screen, which displayed the emergency distress signal button. The text on the screen was asking if Peter was sure he wanted to activate it.
Peter had almost sent the distress signal to Tony, but something held him back. What could be it ??
Tony closed his eyes.
With Peter's watch in one hand and the torn fabric in the other Tony again started to search him.
His mind raced with questions. Where could Peter be? Was he hurt? Scared? Tony couldn't bear the thought of his son in danger, and the guilt of not being there to protect him weighed heavily on his shoulders.
Suddenly Tony's heart skipped a beat as he noticed a figure lying on the ground. His eyes widened in disbelief – it was Peter.
He rushed over to his son, his heart pounding in his chest. "Peter!" Tony called out frantically, his voice filled with desperation. "Peter, can you hear me?"
But there was no response. Peter lay motionless, his eyes closed as if in a deep slumber. Tony's hands trembled as he reached out to gently shake his son, hoping for any sign of life.
"Come on, Peter, wake up," Tony pleaded, his voice cracking with emotion. "Please, you have to wake up."
But still, there was nothing. Tony's heart sank seeing his son's condition like this.
" Ahh..." Peter slowly groaned.
Relief flooded Tony's entire being as he saw Peter wake up,he pulled him into a tight embrace, holding him close as tears of gratitude and joy streamed down his face."Peter, oh god, Peter," Tony murmured, his voice choked with emotion."Peter..." Tony whispered again, his voice trembling with emotion.
Peter's eyes fluttering open. He blinked a few times, trying to focus on the face hovering above him."Dad?" Peter rasped, his voice weak but filled with recognition.
Tony's heart swelled with love and relief as he looked into his son's eyes. "Yeah, kid, it's me." He said softly, brushing a tear from Peter's cheek. "You're safe now."
A weak smile spread across Peter's face as another tear skip from his eyes. "You... you...come for me," He whispered.
"Yes ..Yes, Peter. I'll always come for you," Tony replied, his voice filled with love and determination. "You're my son, and nothing will ever change that."
Peter weakly smiled as he closed his eyes again fainted in Tony's arms.
"Oh God Peter ?" Happy said shocked who just reached there.
Tony looked up, his eyes red-rimmed and filled with a mix of exhaustion and relief. "Happy," he said hoarsely, his voice barely above a whisper. "I...I found him."
Happy's expression softened with relief. "Thank god," he muttered, stepping closer to Tony and Peter. "Is he okay?"
Tony shook his head, his heart heavy with worry. "I don't know," he admitted. "He's unconscious, and he's been through... a lot."
Happy nodded, understanding. "Let's get him out of here," He suggested. "We'll take him back to the compound, get him checked by Dr Cho. "
Tony nodded as he carefully lifted Peter in arms .They began to make their way back to the tower.
With each step Tony couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at him. He should have listened to Peter, should have taken his warnings more seriously. But now wasn't the time for self-recrimination. Right now, all that mattered was getting Peter the help he needed.
They reached the med bay, Tony carefully laying Peter down on the bed, his heart clenched with worry.
Doctor Cho, the head of the medical team, approached them with a concerned expression." You need to wait outside, please." She said gently, her tone firm yet compassionate. "We need to assess Peter's condition and administer treatment."
Tony hesitated for a moment, his gaze lingering on Peter's still form. But he knew he had to trust the medical team to take care of his son. With a nod, he reluctantly stepped back, allowing Doctor Cho and her team to work.
As he waited outside the med bay, He buried his face in his hand, the weight of uncertainty pressing down on him.
A gentle hand on his shoulder startled him, and he looked up to find Pepper standing beside him, her expression filled with concern.
"Pepper," he wishpered unable to say anything.
Relief flooded Pepper's expression as she reached out to gently squeeze Tony's shoulder. "Thank goodness," she breathed, her eyes shimmering with tears. " He's in good hands, he gonna be fine."
Tony nodded at her as she continued "We'll do everything we can to help him." She said firmly, her voice infused with resolve.
To be continued...
