Chapter 109: Orange League Tournament Top 2! Rival Battle! Ash vs Nemona!
Hello everyone, this chapter will cover Ash and Nemona's battle with each other to see who'll be the one that faces Drake. This is a pretty long chapter, I'm sorry for the late upload as I was pretty busy last week, and I hope you all enjoy this chapter.
The chapter begins where the last one left off with Palafin and Dracovish charging at each other with Aqua Jet and Dragon Rush respectively. Just when the two mons are about to collide Ash speaks.
"Dracovish make a sharp turn to the right and use Fishious Rend!" Ash calls with Dracovish nodding as it quickly moves to the right surprising Palafin. Dracovish's lower jaw glows and goes to bite Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"I'm not falling for that trick again! Palafin dodge and use Flip Turn!" Nemona calls. Palafin manages to narrowly avoid Dracovish's attack then covers its body in water and shoots forward hitting Dracovish. Before Dracovish can counter Palafin goes back in its Pokeball as Houndstone appears taking its place. Houndstone looks at Dracovish as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone use Snarl!" Nemona calls. Houndstone lets out a roar and sends out multiple black rings of dark energy at Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish run forward and use Crunch!" Ash calls. Dracovish nods as it runs forward, covers its teeth in dark energy and begins to bite down on the dark rings easily destroying them. As Dracovish continues to do that it's getting closer to Houndstone as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone use Phantom Force to dodge!" Nemona calls. Houndstone nods as before Dracovish can bite it. Houndstone quickly summons a portal behind itself and goes inside it dodging Dracovish's attack. Dracovish has a confused look on its face as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish Houndstone can appear from anywhere so be careful!" Ash says with Dracovish nodding as it continues to look around waiting for Houndstone to appear. A couple seconds later a portal appears behind Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish Houndstone's behind you! Quick use Hydro Pump!" "Houndstone use Giga Impact!" Both trainers' call. Dracovish quickly turns around and fires out a stream of water. But Houndstone quickly covers its body in an orange sphere with purple streaks and shoots forward. Houndstone easily goes through the Hydro Pump and hits Dracovish causing damage and making the mon slide back a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish!" Ash calls in worry as Dracovish manages to stop itself and looks at Houndstone as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish use Crunch!" Ash calls. Dracovish covers its teeth in dark energy and jumps forward going to bite down on Houndstone as Nemona speaks.
"Use Phantom Force!" Nemona calls. Before Dracovish can land its attack on Houndstone the ghost dog summons a portal and goes inside it causing Dracovish to miss. A couple seconds later Houndstone appears from the portal and hits Dracovish causing damage as Ash speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" "Phantom Force Houndstone!" Both trainers' call. Dracovish shoots out a large stream of water, but Houndstone summons a portal and goes inside it dodging the attack. Houndstone then appears behind Dracovish and hits the mon making it slide back a few feet away. Ash along with Dracovish are getting annoyed as they look over at Nemona and Houndstone who have smiles on their faces. Up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"So, far Dracovish hasn't been able to land a hit on Houndstone." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"If things keep going like this Dracovish's going to lose." Rinto says as Barry speaks.
"Come on Ash fight back!" Barry cheers along with Misty, Leaf, Hau, Cameron, Togetic, and Poliwag. Back on the battlefield Ash begins to think.
"Nemona's been playing around so far if I keep Dracovish in it's going to faint, so I have to switch it out." Ash says to himself as he pulls out Dracovish's Pokeball and speaks.
"Dracovish return!" Ash says with Dracovish nodding as it goes back in its Pokeball Nemona speaks.
"Returning Dracovish huh? Smart choice as you could tell there was no way for it to beat Houndstone." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Even though Dracovish wasn't able to handle Houndstone I know that my next Pokémon will" Ash responds as he pulls out his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.
"Ceruledge, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Ceruledge. Once the mon appears she has a serious look on her face as Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is a Ceruledge!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Looks like we're going to see a battle between two strong ghost type Pokémon." Don George says as back on the battlefield Nemona speaks.
"Ceruledge's your next one huh? It looks like it's gotten stronger." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"You got that right and she's going to take down Houndstone!" Ash states with Ceruledge nodding as Nemona smiles. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Shade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge's eyes glow and sends out two ghostly beams of light that head for Houndstone as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone use Phantom Force!" Nemona calls with Houndstone nodding as it uses the move and dodges Ceruledge's attack as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, that's not surprising but I'm not worried." Ash says as suddenly a portal appears behind Ceruledge and out of it comes Houndstone going to hit the mon Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge dodge with Phantom Force then use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge nods as she quickly goes into a portal of her own and dodges Houndstone's attack. A portal then appears on Houndstone's left side as Ceruledge shoots out of it with her body covered in fire and hits Houndstone causing damage to the mon. Ceruledge can feel her speed increase as Ash speaks.
"Great Ceruledge now use Night Slash!" "Houndstone return!" Both trainers' call. Ceruledge covers both of her blades in dark energy and goes to slash Houndstone, but the mon quickly goes back in its Pokeball. This causes Ceruledge to stumble a little bit as Nemona pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.
"Palafin come out and use Jet Punch!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends in Palafin who's now in its hero form. Palafin punches its right fist forward and sends out a watery fist that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge dodge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge quickly moves to the right and dodges the attack as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Aqua Jet!" Nemona calls. Palafin shoots forward and goes to hit Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use your blades to block!" Ash calls. Ceruledge quickly brings up her blades and blocks Palafin's attack. When that happens Palafin begins trying to knock away Ceruledge's blades, but the mon stands strong as Nemona speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" "Block it Ceruledge!" Both trainers' call. Palafin takes a deep breath and shoots out a big stream of water from its mouth that connects with Ceruledge's blades. As Ceruledge continues to block the Hydro Pump the move begins to push Ceruledge back and keeps doing that until Ceruledge trips and rolls on the ground a little bit as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge!" Ash calls as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Jet Punch!" Nemona calls. Palafin punches its left fist forward and sends out a watery fist that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge dodge with Phantom Force then use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Ceruledge sees the water fist coming, she quickly summons a ghostly portal and goes inside it dodging the water fist. A portal then appears above Palafin and out of it comes Ceruledge. Ceruledge covers both of her blades in dark energy and goes to hit Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"Block it Palafin!" Nemona calls. Palafin quickly brings up its left arm and begins to block Ceruledge's attack. Now that Ceruledge's blades have connected with Palafin's arm she begins to press down hard with Palafin not budging. Palafin then clenches its right fist as Nemona speaks.
"Use Jet Punch!" "Ceruledge back away!" Both trainers' call. Palafin covers its right fist in water and goes to upper cut Ceruledge, but the mon quickly jumps back avoiding the attack. Ceruledge lands a few feet away and looks at Palafin with the mon looking at it as their trainers speak.
"Use Hydro Pump!" "Night Shade!" Both trainers' call. Palafin along with Ceruledge roar as they fire their attacks at each other that meet in the middle of the battlefield creating an explosion along with a strong gust of wind as Jake speaks.
"This battle's intense!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Indeed" Don George says as back on the battlefield the wind stops. When the smoke clears, we see Palafin along with Ceruledge staring at each other as Ash begins to think.
"Nemona's Palafin's tough Ceruledge can probably beat it but it's going to take a while, and I still need to save Ceruledge for a different Pokémon." Ash says to himself as he pulls out Ceruledge's Pokeball and speaks.
"Ceruledge return!" Ash says as Ceruledge goes back in her Pokeball Nemona speaks.
"Returning Ceruledge already huh? Are you worried that Palafin's going to beat it?" Nemona asks as Ash speaks.
"Actually, it's the opposite I'm sure that Ceruledge can defeat Palafin, but I want her to battle another one of your Pokémon so I'm going to use this one instead." Ash responds while holding a Pokeball in his hand then speaks.
"Dracovish come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Dracovish back in. When Dracovish appears, it has a serious look on its face and looks at Palafin with the dolphin looking back as Nemona speaks.
"Now Dracovish's back out. You do realize that I could just switch out Palafin and send Houndstone back in right?" Nemona asks as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I know but if you did that then I'd send Ceruledge back in and we'd just be doing the same thing again and that would be boring." Ash responds with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"You have a point there Ash so instead of switching out Palafin I'll keep him in so that he can take out your Dracovish." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"I was hoping you'd say that" Ash says while having a smile on his face. The two mons along with their trainers look at each other waiting for their opponent to make the first move as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Dracovish! Use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Dracovish fires out a big stream of water that heads for Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"Palafin use Jet Punch!" Nemona calls. Palafin punches its left fist forward and sends out a water fist that collides with the Hydro Pump creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls. Dracovish covers its body in dragon energy and runs forward. Dracovish appears out of the smoke and goes to hit Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"Palafin stop it!" Nemona calls. Palafin nods as it holds its hands forward and collides with Dracovish. When that happens, Dracovish begins trying to push Palafin back, but the mon isn't moving. Dracovish continues trying to push Palafin back as Nemona speaks.
"Palafin now that Dracovish is close to you use Icy Wind!" "Dracovish use Low Kick!" Both trainers' call. Palafin takes a deep breath and is about to fire an icy wind in Dracovish's face, but the mon quickly kicks Palafin with its right leg causing the mon to trip and fall on the battlefield. Palafin groans a little in pain as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish use Fishious Rend!" Ash calls. Dracovish's lower jaw glows blue and goes to bite down on Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"Palafin use Aqua Jet and Ice Punch!" Nemona calls. Palafin covers its body in water, covers its left fist in ice, shoots upward and uppercuts Dracovish with its left fist. Dracovish groans in pain as Nemona speaks.
"Use Ice Punch again!" Nemona calls. Palafin covers its right fist in ice and goes to hit Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish use Crunch!" Ash calls. Dracovish covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on Palafin's right arm. Palafin's groaning in pain and begins trying to pull out its arm but to no avail as Nemona speaks.
"Make Dracovish let go with Ice Punch!" Nemona calls. Palafin covers its left fist in ice and goes to punch Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish hold onto Palafin's arm tightly and use Brutal Swing!" Ash calls. Dracovish nods as it increases its grip on Palafin's arm, covers its body in dark energy and begins to spin causing Palafin to lose concentration. Dracovish continues to spin until a few seconds later it lets go of Palafin and sends the mon flying as Ash speaks.
"Now use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Dracovish shoots out a large stream of water from its mouth that goes to hit Palafin as Nemona speaks.
"Dodge with Aqua Jet!" Nemona calls. Palafin quickly covers its body in water and moves to the right dodging the large stream of water. When it does suddenly Dracovish appears in front of it as Ash speaks.
"Use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls. Dracovish covers its body in dragon energy and hits Palafin causing damage to the mon. Dracovish then gets its teeth ready as Ash speaks.
"Use Fishious Rend!" "Palafin Ice Punch!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Nemona Palafin's flinching because of the Dragon Rush, Dracovish's lower jaw glows blue and bites down on Palafin creating an explosion as Nemona speaks.
"Palafin!" Nemona calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Palafin lying on its back with Dracovish standing over it. Hassel makes the call.
"Palafin's unable to battle Dracovish's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Dracovish to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the water and dragon types cheering the loudest. Back at the stadium Ash's friends cheer too as Misty speaks.
"Nice Ash got the first win!" Misty says happily as Rinto speaks.
"Yes, but it seems as though Nemona isn't too bothered by it." Rinto says as back on the battlefield Nemona returns Palafin back to its Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. Once she does that she looks over at Ash and speaks.
"Wow Ash you were right your Dracovish has certainly gotten stronger so let's see how it'll do against my next one." Nemona says as she pulls out another Pokeball and goes to throw it.
"Pawmot, come out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends in her Pawmot. When the mon appears, it has a smile on its face and is ready to battle as Ash begins to think.
"Pawmot's her next Pokémon. Dracovish didn't take too much damage, so I'll keep it in." Ash says to himself as he looks at Dracovish and speaks.
"Dracovish I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with the mon nodding as it along with Pawmot get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Use Hydro Pump!" Ash calls. Dracovish takes a deep breath and shoots out a large stream of water from its mouth that heads for Pawmot as Nemona speaks.
"Get rid of it with Thunder Punch!" Nemona calls. Pawmot covers its left fist in electricity and punches the Hydro Pump easily destroying it. When that happens, Dracovish suddenly appears in front of the mon as Ash speaks.
"Use Dragon Rush!" Ash calls. Before Nemona can tell Pawmot to dodge Dracovish covers its body in dragon energy and hits Pawmot causing damage to the mon and pushing it a few feet away. Pawmot groans in pain as Ash speaks.
"Okay Dracovish use Fishious Rend!" Ash calls. Dracovish's lower jaw glows blue as it jumps forward and goes to bite Pawmot as Nemona speaks.
"Use Electroweb!" Nemona calls. Pawmot nods as it summons an electric ball from its right hand and throws it at Dracovish. The electric ball turns into a web and wraps around Dracovish causing it to fall on the ground. When Dracovish tries to stand up the web begins to shock Dracovish making the mon cry out in pain as Nemona speaks.
"Great now use Supercell Slam!" Nemona calls. Pawmot jumps high into the air and covers its body in electricity. Pawmot now begins falling towards Dracovish as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish try getting rid of the net with Crunch!" Ash calls. Dracovish nods and as it goes to do that the web begins to shock it again. Dracovish manages to fight through it, covers its teeth in dark energy and bites down on the web easily destroying it. Dracovish stands up and sees Pawmot heading for it as Ash speaks.
"Great job Dracovish now dodge!" "Do it Pawmot!" Both trainers' call. Before Dracovish can dodge Pawmot slams its body hard onto Dracovish's face causing both mons to crash on the battlefield and create an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Dracovish!" Ash calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Pawmot standing over Dracovish who's lying on its left side and is knocked out. Hassel then makes the call.
"Dracovish's unable to battle! Pawmot's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Nemona and Pawmot to cheer. On the other side of the battlefield Ash's sad that Dracovish lost and returns the mon back to its Pokeball. Ash looks at the ball telling Dracovish, thank you then puts the ball back on his belt. Once he does that, he looks over at Nemona and speaks.
"Your Pawmot's gotten stronger Nemona." Ash says as Nemona speaks.
"Thank you and I knew he was the best one to take down your Dracovish." Nemona responds with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"I see. Well, I have a Pokémon that'll take down Pawmot. Raichu, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in his Alolan Raichu. Once Raichu appears she has a smile on her face and is ready to battle. Up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Ash's Raichu's part psychic type so it now has the type advantage against Pawmot." Cameron says as Tracey speaks.
"While that's true Ash's Raichu has battled Nemona's Pawmot before and lost." Tracey says as Misty speaks.
"But since then, Raichu's been training a lot and has grown stronger since last time." Misty says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Nemona looks at Ash's Raichu and speaks.
"So, your Raichu's next." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, and this time she's going to win!" Ash states with Raichu nodding making Nemona smile as she looks at Pawmot and speaks.
"Pawmot get ready!" Nemona says with Pawmot nodding as it along with Raichu get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Use Psychic!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly fires out multiple waves of psychic energy that heads for Pawmot as Nemona speaks.
"Get rid of it with Knock Off!" Nemona calls. Pawmot covers its left hand in dark energy and chops down on the psychic easily destroying it. Ash then calls for his next command.
"Raichu use Quick Attack!" Ash calls. Raichu shoots forward at a fast speed and hits Pawmot doing some damage to the mon as Nemona speaks.
"Hit Raichu back with Knock Off!" "Raichu use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Pawmot covers its right hand in dark energy and goes to hit Raichu, but the mon quickly creates multiple clones of herself dodging Pawmot's attack. Raichu along with her clones look at Pawmot as Ash speaks.
"Now use Psyshock!" Ash calls. Raichu along with her clones create multiple psychic orbs and send them at Pawmot as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot get rid of them with Knock Off!" Nemona calls. Pawmot covers both of its hands in dark energy and begins to easily destroy the psychic orbs. As Pawmot continues to do that Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Quick Attack!" Ash calls. Raichu nods as she shoots forward and hits Pawmot hard across the face causing damage to the mon as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot grab Raichu!" "Raichu use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers' call. When Pawmot goes to grab Raichu the mouse quickly creates multiple clones of herself and dodges the attack. Raichu along with her clones are now surrounding Pawmot as Ash speaks.
"Now use Psychic!" "Pawmot blow them away with Discharge!" Both trainers' call. When Raichu along with her clones are about to use Psychic Pawmot lets out a roar and sends out multiple electric bolts. The bolts easily get rid of Raichu's clones and hit the real Raichu too causing some damage to her as Nemona speaks.
"Good job! Now use Bulk Up then Close Combat!" Nemona calls. Pawmot nods as it jumps towards Raichu and bulks up its body increasing its physical attack/defense. Pawmot reaches Raichu and goes to hit her with its fists as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Substitute to dodge then use Nasty Plot and Psychic!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly creates a clone of herself that allows her to disappear and have the clone take Pawmot's attack. Raichu's now behind Pawmot she sharply raises her special attack power and fires the psychic waves at Pawmot as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot dodge with Substitute and use Knock Off!" Nemona calls. Just when the Psychic is about to hit Pawmot the mon quickly creates a clone of itself allowing for it to disappear and have the clone take the attack instead. Pawmot appears behind Raichu, covers its right hand in dark energy and goes to chop down on the mon as Ash speaks.
"Raichu dodge with Substitute and use Nasty Plot then Psychic!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly dodges Pawmot's attack by leaving a clone in her place. Raichu appears behind Pawmot. She increases her special attack power again and is about to use Psychic as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot use Electro Web!" Nemona calls. Pawmot nods as it quickly throws an electric web that wraps around Raichu. Once that happens the electric web begins to shock Raichu causing damage to her as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Knock Off!" "Raichu Block!" Both trainers' call. Pawmot covers both of its hands in dark energy and goes to hit Raichu. Raichu's still being shocked by the electric web but quickly brings up her arms as Pawmot slams its hands down causing Raichu to crash back on the battlefield. Ash then speaks.
"Raichu!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Raichu laying on her back groaning in pain and when she tries to stand up the electric web begins to shock her again as Nemona speaks.
"Okay Pawmot it's time! Use Bulk Up again then finish Raichu off with Supercell Slam!" Nemona calls with Pawmot nodding as it increases its physical attack/defense power again, covers its body in electricity and starts falling towards Raichu. Jake then speaks.
"Seems as though Nemona's planning on having her Pawmot take down Raichu with Supercell Slam!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Indeed, and after increasing its physical attack power with Bulk Up Pawmot will be able to KO Raichu on impact." Don George says as back on the battlefield everyone sees Raichu still being shocked by the electric web while Pawmot's getting closer. Nemona has a smile on her face as Ash smiles too and speaks.
"You just fell for our trap. Raichu use Substitute then Nasty Plot!" Ash calls with Raichu nodding as she quickly creates a clone that takes her place causing Pawmot to crash into it creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Pawmot stands up and sees that Raichu's gone. Raichu sharply increases her special attack power again as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot Raichu's over there! Use Knock Off!" Nemona calls with Pawmot nodding as it covers both of its hands in dark energy and jumps forward heading for Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Surf!" Ash calls. Raichu nods and lets out a loud "Rai!" summoning a large wave of water. Nemona's unable to have Pawmot dodge in time as the large wave of water consumes it. Inside the Surf Pawmot's groaning in pain as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot break out of there with Substitute!" "Oh no you don't! Raichu use Psychic on the Surf!" Both trainers' call. Just when Pawmot's about to use Substitute Raichu quickly fires the waves of psychic energy that connect with the Surf as Ash speaks.
"Good now spin it around!" Ash calls with Raichu nodding as she keeps using psychic and begins to make the water spin. Inside the water Pawmot's about to use Substitute but can't because it starts being spun around inside the water. Nemona has a surprised look on her face as she speaks.
"It looks like a Whirlpool" Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, that's right. You see after our first encounter Raichu wanted to battle your Pawmot again, so I was trying to think of a way for her to do damage. So, I came up with the idea of having Raichu use Surf to consume Pawmot and use psychic to move the wave so that Pawmot's trapped inside. Raichu completed this last night, and I call this move Psychicpool." Ash responds with Nemona nodding. The crowd have surprised looks on their faces on Ash's idea as back on the battlefield Nemona smiles and speaks.
"I have to say Ash I probably would've never thought of something like this and while it is impressive it's still not enough to defeat Pawmot. Pawmot use Discharge!" Nemona calls. Inside the still spinning Surf Pawmot's groaning in pain, but it hears Nemona's command and begins to spark its body. Pawmot lets out a mighty roar and sends out multiple electric bolts that easily destroy the Surf and head for Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly creates multiple clones of herself and manages to dodge the electric bolts as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Electro Web!" Nemona calls. Pawmot groans a little in pain then throws an electric web from its right hand that goes to grab Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Raichu!" Ash calls with Raichu nodding as she manages to easily dodge the attack. When she does Pawmot appears in front of her as Nemona speaks.
"It's over Ash this is Pawmot's victory! Pawmot use Supercell Slam!" Nemona calls. Pawmot covers its body in electricity and goes to hit Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Double Team to dodge then grab Pawmot with Psychic!" Ash calls. Raichu nods and quickly creates multiple clones of herself dodging Pawmot's attack. Raichu then fires out the waves of psychic energy and grabs Pawmot. Pawmot groans in pain while being in the psychic hold as Nemona speaks.
"That's not going to work Ash! Pawmot break out of there with Crunch!" Nemona calls. Pawmot nods as it covers its teeth in dark energy and is about to bite down on the psychic Ash speaks.
"That's why I'm going to do this. Raichu quick send Pawmot crashing on the ground!" Ash calls. Raichu nods and before Pawmot can bite down on the psychic. Raichu's eyes glow and sends Pawmot crashing back down hard on the battlefield as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot!" Nemona calls in worry as when the smoke clears Pawmot's laying on its stomach groaning in pain but then stands back up as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Wild Charge!" Ash calls. Raichu nods as she covers her body in electricity and begins heading for Pawmot as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Looks like you just messed up Ash. Did you forget what Pawmot's ability is? Pawmot stay where you are!" Nemona calls with Pawmot nodding as it stands in place allowing for Raichu to get closer as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Actually, Nemona I didn't forget I just wanted Pawmot to stay perfectly still." Ash responds, making Nemona confused, but she then quickly realizes her mistake and speaks.
"Pawmot dodge it's a trap!" "Too late! Raichu use Psychic then Iron Tail!" Both trainers' call. Pawmot's about to move out of the way but Raichu sends out waves of psychic energy that hold Pawmot in place. Raichu's tail then glows in steel energy as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot use Substitute!" "Do it Raichu!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Nemona Pawmot can't dodge in time as Raichu reaches the mon and slams her tail hard into Pawmot's stomach. Pawmot coughs in pain and is sent flying. Pawmot crashes back down on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Nemona speaks.
"Pawmot!" Nemona calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Pawmot laying on its back knocked out. Hassel makes the call.
"Pawmot's unable to battle Raichu's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu, and Raichu to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too. Back in the stadium Ash's friends let out a cheer as Misty and Leaf speak.
"Raichu won!" The 2 girls say happily as Hau speaks.
"Nice he managed to take out Pawmot" Hau says as Tracey speaks.
"Nemona's Pawmot has the Volt Absorb ability so Ash knew that by calling for Wild Charge it would allow Raichu to get close to Pawmot and make Nemona think that it was a mistake, but it was instead part of his plan." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"Then by the time Nemona would call for Pawmot to dodge it was too late as Raichu was already in striking range and hit Pawmot knocking it out." Rinto says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Raichu and speaks.
"Great job Raichu I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Raichu looks back and smiles having a proud look on her face. On the other side of the battlefield Nemona returns Pawmot back to its Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. Once she does that, she pulls out another Pokeball, looks over at Ash and speaks.
"Wow Ash every time we battle each other you always surprise me. But that's exactly why I love battling you and also why I can't hold back." Nemona says while having a smile on her face and goes to throw her next Pokeball forward.
"Meowscarada, come out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends in her shiny Meowscarada. When the mon appears, it has a smile on its face as Jake speaks.
"Nemona's next Pokémon is a shiny Meowscarada!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"It looks strong too." Don George says as over with Ash's friends Misty speaks.
"I wasn't expecting Nemona to bring out her Meowscarada next." Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"This just means that she's now taking the battle seriously and isn't going to hold back." Tracey says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu and Raichu look at Meowscarada as Ash begins to think.
"So, Meowscarada's her next Pokémon I thought that she was going to save it for later, but I guess this means that she's not going to hold back anymore." Ash says to himself as he looks over at Raichu and continues to think.
"Raichu didn't take too much damage from her battle with Pawmot and after doing 3 Substitutes her health is pretty low. But since Raichu has used Nasty Plot 3 times already her special attack power has increased a lot and I'm probably not going to get another chance for her to do that again in this battle, so I better not waste it." Ash says to himself as he speaks.
"Raichu, I know that you're low on health, but do you want to continue?" Ash asks as Raichu looks back at him and nods making Ash happy as he looks forward and speaks.
"Okay Raichu let's do this!" Ash says with Raichu nodding as she along with Meowscarada get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Thunderbolt!" Ash calls. Raichu sparks her cheeks and fires out a electric bolt towards Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Night Slash!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada covers its claws in dark energy and slashes the Thunderbolt easily destroying it. When that happens Raichu appears in front of the mon as Ash speaks.
"Use Iron Tail!" Meowscarada block! Then use Night Slash!" Both trainers' call. Raichu covers her tail in steel energy and goes to hit Meowscarada. Meowscarada quickly brings up its left arm and blocks Raichu's attack. Meowscarada then covers its right claws in dark energy and goes to upper cut Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly creates multiple clones of herself and dodges Meowscarada's attack. Meowscarada looks around and sees that it's surrounded by Raichu and her clones as Ash speaks.
"Now use Electric Terrain then Discharge!" Ash calls. Raichu along with her clones' roar as they cover the entire field in electricity. They continue to roar as they send multiple bolts of electricity at Meowscarada Nemona speaks.
"Use Spikes!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada turns into a ground type and throws out multiple spikes around the battlefield. Then when the Discharge makes contact with Meowscarada they do zero damage to the mon. Then when the Discharge goes away Meowscarada has an unfazed look on its face surprising Ash and Raichu as Nemona speaks.
"Good Meowscarada now use Leaf Storm to blow the clones away!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar and summons a big storm of leaves that begin to easily get rid of Raichu's clones. The storm of leaves now head for the real Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Protect!" Ash calls. Raichu quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the storm of leaves. Then when the leaves disappear, and the barrier goes down Meowscarada appears. Meowscarada has its claws ready as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Night Slash!" "Raichu use Substitute to dodge then use Surf!" Both trainers' call. Meowscarada turns into a dark type, covers its claws in dark energy and goes to hit Raichu. But Raichu quickly summons a clone that takes her place, allowing for her to dodge Meowscarada's attack. Once Raichu gets a good enough distance away she lets out a roar and summons a large wave of water. The Surf manages to get rid of all the Spikes that were on the battlefield and heads for Meowscarada. Meowscarada along with Nemona aren't worried as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"I was hoping you'd do this again Ash and now it's time for us to show you something cool. Meowscarada use Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. "It knows Frenzy Plant?!" Ash says while having a surprised look on his face as Meowscarada turns into a grass type and roars as it summons multiple large vines and shoots them forward. The vines easily pierce through the Surf and are now heading for Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu stop them with Psychic!" Ash calls. Raichu lets out a big "Rai!" and sends out a big psychic wave that connect with the large vines and stops them. Ash lets out a relief sigh as Nemona speaks.
"You shouldn't relax just yet Ash." Nemona says making Ash confused as he looks forward and sees Meowscarada running up its own vines and is heading for Raichu as Ash speaks.
"Raichu use Thunder times 5 to stop Meowscarada!" "Meowscarada use Sucker Punch!" Both trainers' call. Raichu sparks her cheeks and is about to fire out the large electric bolts, but Meowscarada turns into a dark type and reaches Raichu. Meowscarada covers its left fist in dark energy and punches Raichu hard in the face, sending the mon crashing back down on the battlefield creating a cloud of dust as Ash speaks.
"Raichu!" Ash calls in worry as the Frenzy Plant vines and Electric Terrain go away Meowscarada lands back down waiting to see the results. Then once the dust clears everyone can see Raichu lying on her back knocked out as Hassel speaks.
"Raichu's unable to battle Meowscarada's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Nemona and Meowscarada to cheer. Ash's sad that Raichu lost then returns the mon back to her Pokeball. Ash tells Raichu thank you and puts the ball back on his belt. When he does that Nemona speaks.
"I have to say Ash your Raichu was strong but in the end my Meowscarada came out the victor." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"That's true and I wasn't expecting your Meowscarada to know Frenzy Plant" Ash says as Nemona speaks.
"I bet as she just finished mastering it a couple weeks ago." Nemona says with Ash nodding as Nemona pulls out Meowscarada's Pokeball and speaks.
"Now that you've seen what Meowscarada's capable of I'm going to return her for now" Nemona says as she returns the mon back to its Pokeball Jake speaks.
"Nemona has returned Meowscarada who will she send in next?!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Nemona pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Here's my next one. Dudunsparce, Go!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends in a Three-Segment Form Dudunsparce. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash begins to think.
"So, a Dudunsparce is her next Pokémon it looks bigger and stronger than mine and probably has a lot of power. I only have one Pokémon that can take its hits." Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Melmetal, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Melmetal. When the mon appears it has an excited look on its face. Nemona along with the people in the crowd all have surprised looks on their faces seeing Melmetal as Jake speaks.
"Ash has just sent in a never-before-seen Pokémon!" Jake says as over with Drake he smiles and has an interested look on his face. Over with the group Barry, Cameron, Hau, and Rinto all look at Melmetal as Cameron speaks.
"What is that?" Cameron asks as Tracey speaks.
"That's Melmetal it's the evolution of Ash's Meltan." Tracey answers as Hau speaks.
"His Meltan evolved into that?" Hau asks as Misty speaks.
"Yep, Ash's Meltan fused together with the other ones at Oak's lab and turned into that." Misty says as Leaf speaks.
"Prof Oak mentioned that Melmetal used to live in an ancient time period making it a mythical Pokémon." Leaf says as Barry speaks.
"I can't believe that Ash has a mythical Pokémon and didn't use it against me I'm going to give him a fine!" Barry says while having an annoyed look on his face while the others continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash explained to Nemona what Melmetal is making Nemona surprised as she smiles and speaks.
"And here I thought that you couldn't surprise me anymore you go ahead and bring out this one." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Yep, also this is Melmetal's first official battle since it's evolved." Ash says as Nemona speaks.
"Really?!" Nemona asks excitedly as Ash speaks.
"Yep, but don't think that Melmetal's weak because it's been training a lot at Oak's lab with my other Pokémon and is very powerful." Ash says with Melmetal agreeing with him as Nemona speaks.
"Oh, you don't have to worry I'm not thinking that at all as just from a glance I can sense just how strong it is and it's making me excited to battle it. Don't you feel the same Dudunsparce?" Nemona says with Dudunsparce agreeing and making Ash smile as he looks at Melmetal and speaks.
"Melmetal let's win this!" Ash says with Melmetal nodding as it along with Dudunsparce get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Nemona speaks.
"Dudunsparce we're attacking first! Use Drill Run!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal block then knock Dudunsparce away!" Ash calls. Melmetal nods as it quickly brings up its arms and blocks Dudunsparce's attack. Dudunsparce tries its best to push Melmetal back, but the mon is holding strong as it then swings out its arms and sends Dudunsparce flying. Dudunsparce lands back on the battlefield a few feet away as Nemona speaks.
"You okay Dudunsparce?" Nemona asks with the mon nodding as she looks over at Melmetal and begins to think.
"It blocked Dudunsparce's attack like it was nothing meaning that it's physical defense must be very high." Nemona says to herself as Ash speaks.
"Okay Melmetal it's our turn to attack! Use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal's eye glows and fires out a big steel beam that heads for Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Quick use Dig!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce quickly digs underground and dodges the beam. The steel beam keeps going until it makes contact with the wall behind Nemona and explodes causing the battlefield to shake. Nemona along with the people in the crowd are surprised by Melmetal's power, Nemona quickly recomposes herself as a couple seconds later Dudunsparce appears from out of the ground and goes to hit Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Use Protect then Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks Dudunsparce's attack causing the mon to bounce back a little bit. Melmetal then fires out a large steel beam that goes to hit Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Knock it away with Iron Tail!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce covers its tail in steel energy, spins around and collides with the steel beam. When it does Dudunsparce is having some difficulty but then a couple seconds later it manages to knock away the beam sending it towards the sky as it explodes. Dudunsparce then looks forward and sees Melmetal spinning. The mon has a confused look on its face as Ash speaks.
"Okay Melmetal use Double Iron Bash!" Ash calls. Melmetal nods as it spins faster and faster until it stops and shoots its arms forward. Nemona's unable to tell Dudunsparce to dodge in time as Melmetal's arms make contact with it and send it flying. Dudunsparce crashes back on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Nemona speaks.
"Dudunsparce!" Nemona calls in worry as when the dust clears Dudunsparce's laying on its stomach groaning in pain. Ash looks over at Melmetal and speaks.
"Nice looks like that training with Blastoise, Glalie, Incineroar, Snorlax, Tinkaton, and Sirfetch'd paid off." Ash says with Melmetal nodding. Meanwhile, over with Nemona she looks at Dudunsparce and begins to think.
"Not only does it have high defense but also high physical attack too. That one hit did so much damage to Dudunsparce and he's already close to fainting." Nemona says to herself as she looks at Dudunsparce and speaks.
"Dudunsparce can you still battle?" Nemona asks with the mon nodding making Nemona smile as she speaks.
"Great and now it's time for us to counterattack. Use Stone Edge!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce roars as it summons multiple large sharp stones around itself and sends them at Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal use Gyro Ball then Double Iron Bash!" Ash calls. Melmetal's body glows in steel energy as it begins to spin and is easily destroying the sharp rocks. Once Melmetal gets rid of all of them it shoots its arms forward going to hit Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Dodge then use Boomburst!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce quickly moves to the right and dodges Melmetal's attack. Dudunsparce roars and sends out a big wave of sound that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal quickly shoots out the steel beam that collides with the Boomburst and creates an explosion. Nemona then calls for her next command.
"Now use Earth Power!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce slams its body down on the ground, creating a large crack that heads for Melmetal and connects with it. When that happens Melmetal groans in pain from the move and can feel that its special defense has decreased as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal are you okay?!" Ash asks with the mon nodding as Nemona speaks.
"Looks like I was right physical attack moves might not work but special attack moves do more damage. And now that Earth Power has lowered your Melmetal's special defense it's time for us to capitalize on that. Dudunsparce use Boomburst again!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce roars and sends out a large wave of sound that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal fires the steel beam causing it to collide with the Boomburst and create an explosion as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Earth Power!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce slams its body on the ground and creates a large crack that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"We're not falling for that again! Melmetal dodge!" Ash calls. Melmetal nods and quickly moves to the left dodging the attack. When that happens Dudunsparce suddenly appears in front of Melmetal, surprising it and Ash as Nemona speaks.
"Use Drill Run!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce turns into a drill and hits Melmetal hard in the stomach causing super effective damage and pushing the mon back a couple feet away. Melmetal looks at Dudunsparce as Ash speaks.
"Use Dynamic Punch!" Ash calls. Melmetal's right arm glows white and extends it forward going to hit Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Use Dig to dodge!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce quickly digs underground and dodges Melmetal's attack. Melmetal can feel Dudunsparce moving underneath the ground as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal when Dudunsparce appears dodge and use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls with Melmetal nodding as Nemona speaks.
"What makes you think that Dudunsparce is going to appear from the ground? Dudunsparce use Boomburst!" Nemona calls as out of the ground appears a big wave of sound that hits Melmetal doing damage to the mon. A couple seconds later Dudunsparce appears from the ground and has its tail ready as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Hyper Drill!" Nemona calls with Dudunsparce nodding as it points its tail forward and hits Melmetal hard in the stomach. Melmetal coughs in pain and is pushed back a few feet away. Once Melmetal stops itself it groans in pain then looks forward and sees Dudunsparce land safely on the ground. Nemona has a smile on her face while Ash grits his teeth, up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"Man, Ash's Melmetal is really taking a beating from Nemona's Dudunsparce." Cameron says as Rinto speaks.
"After learning that Melmetal takes more damage from special attack moves Nemona's taking advantage of not only that, but Dudunsparce is also faster than Melmetal meaning that its attacks will land most of the time." Rinto says as Tracey speaks.
"Ash needs to figure out something that'll allow Melmetal to stop Dudunsparce and keep it in place long enough to hit it." Tracey says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash's trying to think of a way for Melmetal to beat Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Seems like you're stuck in thought Ash that's good because now we're going to attack. Dudunsparce use Boomburst!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce fires out a big wave of sound from its mouth that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Knock it away Melmetal!" Ash calls. Melmetal nods as it swings out its right arm and easily knocks the Boomburst away Nemona speaks.
"Now use Earth Power!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce slams its body on the ground and creates a large crack that heads for Melmetal as Ash speaks.
"Use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal shoots out a steel beam that connects with the Earth Power and is easily going through it surprising Nemona. The Flash Cannon goes to hit Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Dodge Dudunsparce and use Dig!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce quickly moves to the right dodging the beam then digs underground. Dudunsparce doesn't stay underground for long as it appears from underneath Melmetal and goes to hit the mon as Ash speaks.
"Use Protect then Dynamic Punch!" Ash calls. Melmetal quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks Dudunsparce's attack. Melmetal's right fist glows white and goes to punch Dudunsparce as Nemona speaks.
"Use Hyper Voice!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce lets out a loud roar that stops Melmetal in its tracks and begins causing damage to the mon. Melmetal then begins trying to cover its ears as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Okay Dudunsparce I think it's time for us to finish off Melmetal use Drill Run!" Nemona calls. Dudunsparce nods as it becomes a drill and shoots forward heading for Melmetal as Ash smiles and speaks
"That won't work! Melmetal use Substitute!" Ash calls. "It knows Substitute?!" Nemona says in surprise as Melmetal quickly disappears and leaves a clone of itself behind causing Dudunsparce to hit it. Dudunsparce has a confused look on its face as it then turns left and sees Melmetal spinning fast. Ash then speaks.
"Melmetal use Double Iron Bash!" "Dudunsparce quick use Dig to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Nemona, once Melmetal stops spinning it shoots its arms forward and hits Dudunsparce. Dudunsparce is sent flying, going past Nemona and hitting the wall behind her creating an explosion. Nemona looks back and speaks.
"Dudunsparce!" Nemona calls in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Dudunsparce laying on its stomach knocked out. Hassel makes the call.
"Dudunsparce is unable to battle Melmetal is the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Melmetal to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the steel types and Decidueye cheering the loudest. Back in the stadium Ash's friends cheer too as back on the battlefield Nemona returns Dudunsparce back to its Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Once she does that, she puts the ball away, looks over at Ash and speaks.
"Your Melmetal's really strong Ash and I wasn't expecting it to know Substitute." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"When I was trying to think of how Melmetal could beat Dudunsparce I knew I had to use Substitute, but I needed to wait for you to call for a physical attack. So, when you did that's when I knew that it was time for Melmetal to use it and take down Dudunsparce." Ash says with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"I see, well then let's continue here's my next one. Houndstone come back out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends Houndstone back in. Once the mon appears it looks at Melmetal with the mon looking back as Ash speaks.
"So, Houndstone's back in, it should be okay to keep Melmetal in." Ash says to himself as he looks at Melmetal and speaks.
"Melmetal I'm keeping you in!" Ash says with the mon nodding as it along with Houndstone get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Melmetal! Use Flash Cannon!" Ash calls. Melmetal fires out a large steel beam that heads for Houndstone as Nemona speaks.
"Get rid of it with Fire Fang then use Last Respects!" Nemona calls. Houndstone covers its teeth in fire and bites down on the Flash Cannon easily destroying it. Houndstone covers its body in ghostly energy, opens its mouth and roars as it fires out a large ghostly beam that heads for Melmetal. Ash calls for a command.
"Melmetal block!" Ash calls. Melmetal quickly brings up its arms as the attack connects and creates a big explosion. Melmetal's push back a couple feet away and when Ash is about to ask if Melmetal's okay he hears Nemona returning Houndstone and sending in another Pokémon. Nemona calls for a command.
"Armor Cannon!" Nemona calls as out of the smoke appears a large stream of fire that connects with Melmetal and begins to burn the mon. Melmetal cries out in pain as Ash speaks.
"Melmetal!" Ash calls in worry as a couple seconds later Melmetal falls on its back. When the smoke clears everyone can see that Nemona brought out her Armarouge. Meanwhile over with Hassel he looks at Melmetal, sees that it's knocked out and makes the call.
"Melmetal's unable to battle Armarouge's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Nemona and Armarouge to cheer. Up in the stands Ash's friends are surprised as Misty speaks.
"I can't believe that Melmetal was defeated" Misty says as Rinto speaks.
"Nemona's goal wasn't to have Houndstone defeat Melmetal it was to give Nemona a chance to bring in Armarouge as she knew that Ash would've switched out Melmetal earlier." Rinto says as Tracey speaks.
"And seeing as Melmetal was already pretty weak from its battle with Dudunsparce it shouldn't be too surprising that it fainted especially to a fire type move." Tracey says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu are still surprised that Melmetal lost as Ash then recomposes himself and returns Melmetal back to its Pokeball. Ash tells Melmetal thank you and puts the ball away. He then looks over at Nemona and speaks.
"So, your plan was to have Armarouge be the one to take down Melmetal and not Houndstone." Ash says with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"Yep, I could've brought out Armarouge from the beginning, but I knew that you'd switch out Melmetal and I knew that if you brought Melmetal out later it would've given my other Pokémon trouble, so I needed Armarouge to beat it." Nemona responds with Ash nodding as Nemona pulls out Armarouge's Pokeball and speaks.
"And now that Armarouge has taken out Melmetal his part is done for now." Nemona says as she returns the mon back to its Pokeball she puts it away then pulls out another Pokeball and speaks.
"Houndstone come out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends Houndstone back in. The mon looks forward waiting for its opponent as Ash begins to think.
"Houndstone's back I could send in Ceruledge, but I feel that you're the better option." Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Sirfetch'd, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Sirfetch'd. Once the mon appears he has a smile on his face then looks at Houndstone with the mon looking back Jake speaks.
"Ash's next Pokémon is a Sirfetch'd!" Jake says as back on the battlefield Nemona looks at the mon and speaks.
"A Sirfetch'd huh? Interesting Houndstone let's take it down!" Nemona says with the mon nodding as Ash looks at Sirfetch'd and speaks.
"I'm counting on you Sirfetch'd!" Ash says with the mon nodding as it along with Houndstone get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd we're going first! Use Brutal Swing!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd's leek sword and shield glow in dark energy as Sirfetch'd spins around and throws his shield towards Houndstone Nemona speaks.
"Knock it away Houndstone and use Play Rough!" Nemona calls. Houndstone swings its head and knocks Sirfetch'd's shield away. Houndstone then covers its body in fairy energy and jumps forward going to hit Sirfetch'd as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd use Detect to dodge then use Fury Cutter!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd's right eye glows and dodges Houndstone's attack by jumping back. Sirfetch'd lands a few feet away his leek sword glows in green bug energy, jumps forward and jabs Houndstone hard in the face causing damage to the mon as Nemona speaks.
"Use Play Rough!" "Sirfetch'd block!" Both trainers' call. Houndstone covers its body in fairy energy and goes to hit Sirfetch'd. Sirfetch'd's shield comes back to him allowing the mon to block Houndstone's attack in time. Sirfetch'd is sent flying and lands on the battlefield a few feet away ready to continue as Ash speaks.
"Good job Sirfetch'd!" Ash says with the mon nodding as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone use Snarl!" Nemona calls. Houndstone roars and sends out multiple black rings from its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd run forward using Night Slash and hit Houndstone!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd's leek sword glows in dark energy as he shoots forward. Sirfetch'd swings his leek sword and is easily getting rid of the black rings as he continues running towards Houndstone. Once Sirfetch'd gets rid of the final black ring he jumps forward and goes to jab Houndstone with his leek sword as Nemona speaks.
"Use Phantom Force!" Nemona calls. Houndstone quickly summons a portal behind itself and goes inside it dodging Sirfetch'd's attack. Sirfetch'd lands on the ground and begins trying to look for Houndstone. Suddenly a portal appears on Sirfetch'd's right side and out of it comes Houndstone as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd quick use Detect to dodge!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd's right eye glows and manages to narrowly avoid Houndstone by jumping back. But Nemona expected this as she smiles and speaks.
"I knew you'd do that. Now Houndstone use Play Rough!" Nemona calls. Before Ash can call for a command Houndstone glows in fairy energy and begins hitting Sirfetch'd repeatedly with each hit doing more than the last. Houndstone hits Sirfetch'd one more time and sends the mon flying as he crashes back down on the battlefield landing on his back Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd!" Ash calls in worry as we see the mon groaning in pain but then stands back up. Sirfetch'd looks forward and sees Houndstone cover its body in ghostly energy and is charging up a beam as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone let's end this with our next move! Use Last Respects!" Nemona calls. Houndstone lets out a roar and sends out a big beam of ghostly energy at Sirfetch'd. Up in the stands Cameron speaks.
"That beam is a lot bigger than before." Cameron says as Rinto speaks.
"Now that Nemona has lost 3 Pokémon Last Respects strength has increased by 3 if that lands Sirfetch'd will most likely be knocked out." Rinto says as Misty speaks.
"Don't worry Ash and Sirfetch'd can do it." Misty says while having a determined look on her face as back on the battlefield Ash along with Sirfetch'd see the beam coming and aren't worried. Ash looks at Sirfetch'd and speaks.
"You ready Sirfetch'd?" Ash asks with the mon nodding as he gets into a running stance and points his leek sword forward. As the ghostly beam is getting closer Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd blow it away with Meteor Assault!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd nods as his body and leek sword glow in a yellow aura and begins running forward. Sirfetch'd continues to run forward until he collides with the ghostly beam. When he does the duck along with the beam begin trying to push each other away as Jake speaks.
"Seems as though they're both trying to see who's stronger!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Yes, it'll all come down to who has the most power." Don George says as back on the battlefield the beam along with Sirfetch'd continue to push each other as Nemona speaks.
"Houndstone don't let Sirfetch'd beat you! Use more power!" Nemona calls with Houndstone nodding as it roars increasing the power of its Last Respects making it bigger/stronger. The move begins to slowly push Sirfetch'd back making it more difficult for the duck as Ash speaks.
"Come on Sirfetch'd you're stronger than this we believe in you!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer. Sirfetch'd hears their cheers then lets out a roar increasing the power of his attack. Once Sirfetch'd does that he begins running forward and is easily going through the beam. Nemona along with the crowd have surprised looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, that's it Sirfetch'd now hit Houndstone!" "Houndstone quick use Phantom Force to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Nemona Houndstone can't dodge in time as once Sirfetch'd destroys the beam he hits Houndstone creating an explosion. Sirfetch'd appears behind Houndstone and when the smoke clears everyone can see Houndstone laying on its right side knocked out. Hassel makes the call.
"Houndstone's unable to battle Sirfetch'd's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Sirfetch'd to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the fighting types and Corviknight cheering the loudest. Back at the stadium the group cheer as well as Hau speaks.
"Nice he took down Houndstone!" Hau says as Cameron speaks.
"But wait how did a fighting type move like Meteor Assault hit Houndstone who's a ghost type?" Cameron asks with Barry wondering the same thing as Tracey speaks.
"You see Ash's Sirfetch'd has the ability Scrappy which allows for Normal and Fighting type moves to hit ghost types." Tracey says with Cameron and Barry nodding as Rinto speaks.
"Ash must've been waiting for Nemona to have Houndstone use Last Respects as he knew that Sirfetch'd's Meteor Assault could beat it." Rinto says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Nemona returns Houndstone back to its Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. When she does that, she looks over at Ash and speaks.
"That Meteor Assault from your Sirfetch'd was strong Ash I was sure that Last Respects would've overpowered it." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Thanks, and it's all thanks to Sirfetch'd's ability Scrappy because without that I don't think we would've been able to counter Last Respects." Ash says with Sirfetch'd agreeing with him as Nemona speaks.
"That's possible. Also, I may be down to my last two Pokémon but they're my strongest and won't lose!" Nemona states as she pulls out her next Pokeball and goes to throw it.
"Armarouge, come back out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends Armarouge back in. Once the mon appears it looks at Sirfetch'd and has a serious look on its face with Sirfetch'd having a serious look too as Ash thinks.
"Armarouge's back in. Sirfetch'd didn't take too much damage from Houndstone and has moves that are super effective against Armarouge so it be okay to keep him in. I'll just need to watch out for psychic attacks." Ash says to himself as he looks at Sirfetch'd and speaks.
"Sirfetch'd let's keep going!" Ash says with the duck nodding as he along with Armarouge get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Nemona speaks.
"Use Psychic!" Nemona calls. Armarouge's eyes glow and sends out a wave of psychic energy that goes to hit Sirfetch'd as Ash speaks.
"Use Brutal Swing and jump forward!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd's nods as his shield glows in dark energy and throws it forward. The shield easily cuts through the psychic and heads for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge knock it away!" Nemona calls. Armarouge swings out its right arm and easily knocks the shield away. When that happens Sirfetch'd appears in front of the mon and has his leek sword ready as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Slash!" "Block it Armarouge!" Both trainers' call. Sirfetch'd goes to jab Armarouge, but the mon quickly brings up its left arm and blocks Sirfetch'd's attack. Sirfetch'd tries to knock Armarouge's arm away, but Armarouge is standing strong as Nemona speaks.
"Use Flamethrower!" "Sirfetch'd use Detect to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Armarouge shoots out a big stream of fire but Sirfetch'd's right eye glows and quickly backs away narrowly avoiding the attack. Sirfetch'd lands back on the ground a few feet away and catches his shield as Nemona speaks.
"Use Psyshock!" Nemona calls. Armarouge summons multiple psychic orbs around itself and shoots them forward heading for Sirfetch'd as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd run forward while using Night Slash and when you get close enough use Meteor Assault!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd nods as he covers his leek sword in dark energy and runs forward. As Sirfetch'd is running he's swinging his sword and is easily slashing through all of the psychic orbs. Sirfetch'd continues to do that until he gets rid of the last one. Sirfetch'd then jumps forward covers his leek sword along with his body in a yellow aura and goes to jap Armarouge as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"You just made a mistake Ash! Armarouge use Lava Plume!" Nemona calls surprising Ash as before he can say anything Armarouge lets out a roar and summons an inferno of scarlet flames that connect with Sirfetch'd creating an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd!" Ash calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Sirfetch'd who was sent flying and lands back on the battlefield a few feet away. Sirfetch'd groans in pain and has some burn marks on his body as Nemona speaks.
"Great now use Expanding Force!" Nemona calls. Armarouge creates a psychic bubble that begins to expand and heads for Sirfetch'd as Ash speaks.
"Get rid of it with Night Slash!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd covers his leek in dark energy and swings it easily getting rid of the attack. Once Sirfetch'd does that he along with Ash see Armarouge pointing its arms forward and is charging up something as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge use Meteor Beam!" Nemona calls. Armarouge nods and begins to charge up the beam Ash speaks.
"We won't let you! Sirfetch'd quick use Brutal Swing!" Ash calls with Sirfetch'd nodding and when he goes to use the move Nemona speaks.
"Use Psyshock!" Nemona calls. Armarouge summons multiple psychic orbs around Sirfetch'd and sends them at the mon as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd quick block!" Ash calls. Sirfetch'd stops using Brutal Swing, brings up his sword along with his shield and begins blocking the psychic orbs. As the orbs connect with Sirfetch'd they do some damage to the mon but Sirfetch'd holds on strong until they go away. Sirfetch'd then looks forward and sees that Armarouge has finished charging the beam. Armarouge can feel that its special attack power has increased as Nemona speaks.
"Fire!" Nemona calls with Armarouge nodding as it shoots out a large yellow beam that heads for Sirfetch'd as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd counter with Meteor Assault!" Ash calls with Sirfetch'd nodding as when he goes to use the move Nemona speaks.
"Now hold it in place with Psychic!" Nemona calls. Armarouge's eyes glow as it sends out the psychic waves and connect with Sirfetch'd holding him in place. Sirfetch'd is groaning in pain from the super effective attack and sees the Meteor Beam getting closer as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd break out of their with Night Slash then use Detect!" Ash calls but was too late as the Meteor Beam connects with Sirfetch'd and creates a big explosion as Ash speaks.
"Sirfetch'd!" Ash calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Sirfetch'd who's sent flying and falls below Ash's feet landing on its back. Ash can see that Sirfetch'd is knocked out as Hassel speaks.
"Sirfetch'd is unable to battle Armarouge is the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Nemona and Armarouge to cheer. Up in the stands Leaf speaks.
"Darn Sirfetch'd lost" Leaf says as Rinto speaks.
"Nemona knew that Ash would have Sirfetch'd counter the Meteor Beam with Meteor Assault, so she had Armarouge use Psychic to not only keep Sirfetch'd in place and do damage to it too." Rinto says as Barry speaks.
"So, she did the same thing that Ash did against Houndstone but in her own way." Barry says with the others nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Sirfetch'd back to his Pokeball and tells the mon thank you. Ash puts the ball away as he looks over at Nemona and speaks.
"So, I see you did the same thing that I did" Ash says with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"Yep, I knew you'd have Sirfetch'd counter Meteor Beam with Meteor Assault so I had Armarouge hold it in place with Psychic as there wouldn't be time for Sirfetch'd to break free with Night Slash or dodge with Detect." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Seems like we're both down to 2 Pokémon each and it's time for me to bring this one back out." Ash says while holding his next Pokeball as he goes to throw it.
"Ceruledge, come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Ceruledge back in. Once the mon appears she looks over at Armarouge and has a serious look on her face with Armarouge having the same look Nemona then speaks.
"Ceruledge's back in huh? So, are you planning to have yours get revenge on mine?" Nemona asks as Ash speaks.
"That's right and this time Ceruledge is going to win!" Ash states with Ceruledge nodding making Nemona smile as she speaks.
"We'll see about that. Armarouge get ready." Nemona says with the mon nodding as it along with Ceruledge get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Nemona speaks.
"Use Psychic!" Nemona calls. Armarouge sends out a wave of psychic energy that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and swings them out easily getting rid of the psychic as Nemona speaks.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Nemona calls. Armarouge fires out a stream of dark energy that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Ceruledge and use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge moves to the left and dodges the dark beam. Ceruledge then covers her body in purple fire and begins running forward heading for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Use Fire Blast!" Nemona calls. Armarouge fires out a big stream of fire that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Destroy it with Bitter Blade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in purple fire and easily cuts the Fire Blast in half. After that Ceruledge then jumps forward as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and goes to hit Armarouge with her right blade as Nemona speaks.
"Use Lava Plume!" "Ceruledge quick use Phantom Force to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Armarouge roars and summons an inferno of scarlet fire that goes to hit Ceruledge. Ceruledge quickly summons a portal behind herself and goes inside it dodging Armarouge's attack. A portal then appears above Armarouge and out of it comes Ceruledge who's falling towards Armarouge as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Slash!" "Armarouge block!" Both trainers' call. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and goes to hit Armarouge, but Armarouge quickly brings up its left arm and blocks Ceruledge's attack. Ceruledge begins trying to push harder but Armarouge isn't budging, Ceruledge looks at Armarouge and has her eyes ready as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Shade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge sends out two crimson beams of light that hit Armarouge hard in the face creating an explosion. Armarouge is sent sliding back a few feet away as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge are you okay?!" Nemona asks with the mon nodding as it looks forward and stares at Ceruledge with the mon staring back as Ash speaks.
"Good job Ceruledge let's keep up the pressure use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge nods as she covers her body in purple fire and runs forward heading for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge use Lava Plume!" Nemona calls. Armarouge nods as it sends out an inferno of scarlet fire that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge cut through it with Bitter Blade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in purple fire and begins to easily cut through the Lava Plume. Once Ceruledge's done she looks forward and sees Armarouge pointing its arms forward as Nemona speaks.
"Use Armor Cannon!" "Ceruledge block!" Both trainers' call. Armarouge sends out a big wave of fire that heads for Ceruledge. Ceruledge quickly brings up her blades and begins to block the attack. As Ceruledge is blocking she's slowly being pushed back as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Phantom Force then Night Slash!" Ash calls. Ceruledge nods as she summons a portal behind her and goes inside it allowing for the Armor Cannon to hit the wall behind Ash and explode. A couple seconds later a portal appears on Armarouge's left side and out of it appears Ceruledge. Ceruledge goes to hit Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge back away with Flame Charge then use Dark Pulse!" Nemona calls. Armarouge quickly covers its body in fire and backs away causing Ceruledge to miss. Armarouge then fires out a stream of dark energy that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Dodge with Phantom Force!" Ash calls. Ceruledge quickly summons a portal and goes inside it. Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Armarouge have the Dark Pulse go inside the portal!" Nemona calls surprising Ash as Armarouge quickly has the stream of dark energy go inside the portal before it closes. A couple seconds later another portal appears, and everyone hears an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Ceruledge who falls on the battlefield and lands on her stomach. Ceruledge's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge in front of you!" Ash calls. Ceruledge looks forward and sees Armarouge charging up an attack as Nemona speaks.
"Use Armor Cannon!" "Ceruledge dodge!" Both trainers' call. Armarouge lets out a roar and fires out a big stream of fire that connects with Ceruledge and creates an explosion as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge!" Ash calls in worry as out of the explosion appears Ceruledge who's sent flying and lands back on the battlefield a few feet away landing on her back. Ceruledge's groaning in pain and has scratches all over her body, but she manages to stand up. Ceruledge looks at Armarouge with Armarouge looking back as Nemona speaks.
"Hey Ash, I bet you weren't expecting me to have the Dark Pulse follow Ceruledge into the portal huh? I just want to say thank you for showing it to me during your battle against Hau." Nemona says while having a smile on her face while Ash grits his teeth. Up in the stands Hau speaks.
"She did the same thing that Ash's Dartrix used against my Decidueye." Hau says as Rinto speaks.
"This also means that Ash has to be careful when using Phantom Force from now on because Nemona has a way to counter it." Rinto says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Ash begins to think.
"I wasn't expecting Nemona to have the Dark Pulse follow Ceruledge into the portal now I need to be careful when using it. Ceruledge has suffered a lot of damage but we're not out yet as now that Armarouge has used Armor Cannon its physical/special defense should be lowered so we can take advantage of that." Ash says to himself as he looks over at Nemona and speaks.
"You surprised us with that tactic Nemona but we're not going to fall for that again. And Ceruledge may have suffered a lot of damage, but I believe that she can still win." Ash says with Ceruledge agreeing with him as Nemona speaks.
"I like your spirit in not giving up Ash because we're not giving up either! Armarouge use Dark Pulse!" Nemona calls. Armarouge sends out a stream of dark energy that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge destroy it with Night Slash then use Night Shade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and slashes the Dark Pulse easily destroying it. Ceruledge's eyes glow as she sends out two crimson beams that head for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Counter with Flamethrower!" Nemona calls. Armarouge shoots out a stream of fire that connects with the Night Shade creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Ceruledge surprising Nemona and Armarouge as Ash speaks.
"Use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and slashes Armarouge causing super effective damage as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge push Ceruledge back with Psychic!" Nemona calls. Armarouge looks at Ceruledge and sends out waves of psychic energy that connect with Ceruledge and pushes the mon away. Ceruledge lands on the battlefield a few feet away and groans a little in pain as Nemona speaks.
"Use Psyshock!" Nemona calls. Armarouge summons multiple psychic orbs that surround Ceruledge and go to hit her as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Night Slash to get rid of them!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy and begins slashing the psychic orbs. As Ceruledge is doing that Ash notices Armarouge charging something as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge use Meteor Beam!" Nemona calls. Armarouge's special attack power increases and shoots out a large yellow beam that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge dodge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge gets rid of one more psychic orb then jumps in the air dodging the attack. Once Ceruledge does that she sees Armarouge charging up another attack as Nemona speaks.
"Armor Cannon!" Nemona calls. Armarouge shoots out a large stream of fire that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Overheat!" Ash calls. Ceruledge points both of her blade arms forward and out of the tip of the blades appears a large stream of purple fire. The two attacks collide and when they do, they create a shockwave. The two attacks are now going back and forth trying to overpower the other as Ash speaks.
"You can do it Ceruledge!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Ceruledge nodding as she increases the power of her Overheat Nemona speaks.
"Beat it Armarouge!" Nemona calls. Armarouge nods as it increases its attack too and begins to easily overpower the Overheat. The Armor Cannon consumes the Overheat and is now heading for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Quick use Phantom Force!" Ash calls. Ceruledge quickly summons a portal behind herself and goes inside it as Nemona speaks.
"Ash, you know that isn't going to work. Armarouge have the Armor Cannon follow Ceruledge!" Nemona says with Armarouge nodding as it has the attack go into the portal too before it closes. A couple seconds later another portal appears, and everyone hears an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Ceruledge who's sent rolling on the battlefield a few feet away until she stops. Ceruledge is lying on her stomach and not moving as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge!" Ash calls in worry, but Ceruledge doesn't respond as Nemona speaks.
"Yes, looks like we won Armarouge!" Nemona says happily with Armarouge nodding. Hassel looks at Ceruledge and is about to call that she's knocked out but then notices Ash smiling and stops. As Nemona and Armarouge continue to celebrate Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Night Shade!" Ash calls. Suddenly Ceruledge lifts up her head and sends out two crimson beams that hit Armarouge and explode. Nemona along with the crowd have surprised looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Now use Night Slash!" Ash calls Ceruledge stands up, jumps forward, covers her blade arms in dark energy and slashes Armarouge causing super effective damage and landing a critical hit as Nemona speaks.
"Push it away with Psychic!" "Ceruledge use X Scissor!" Both trainers' call. When Armarouge goes to use Psychic Ceruledge crosses her arms in an X shape and hits Armarouge hard in the face making the mon slide back a few feet away. Armarouge then manages to stop itself as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge are you okay?!" Nemona asks with the mon nodding as Nemona then looks forward and speaks.
"I don't get it how come Ceruledge is still standing? That Armor Cannon should have knocked it out." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"That's because before the Armor Cannon hit Ceruledge she blocked the attack." Ash says as Nemona speaks.
"Ceruledge blocked it? But that still should've done damage to it." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"You're right and it did do some damage to Ceruledge, but it wasn't enough to the point to knock her out." Ash responds with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"So, when Ceruledge was laying on her stomach she was just pretending to be knocked out?" Nemona asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yep, that's right. At first, I thought that Ceruledge was knocked out too but when I looked at her closely, I could see that she could still battle and was only pretending to be knocked out since she knew that you along with Armarouge would drop your guard. And when you did that's when we knew to strike." Ash says with Ceruledge agreeing with him Nemona along with Armarouge and the crowd all have surprised looks on their faces as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Amazing Ash! But even though you surprised us it wasn't enough to knock out Armarouge and now it's time for us to counterattack." Nemona says with Armarouge nodding as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Bring it on!" Ash says with Ceruledge agreeing with him. Nemona smiles then gets a serious look on her face as she calls for a command.
"Use Fire Blast!" Nemona calls. Armarouge shoots out a big blast of fire that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Cut it in half with Bitter Blade!" Ash calls. Ceruledge covers her blades in a purple fire and slashes the Fire Blast in half. When Ceruledge does that she notices that there are multiple psychic orbs surrounding her as Nemona speaks.
"Use Psyshock!" "Night Slash!" Both trainers' call. Armarouge's eyes glow and commands the psychic orbs to attack Ceruledge. Ceruledge quickly covers her blades in dark energy and begins to slash the psychic orbs easily destroying them. As Ceruledge is doing that Nemona speaks.
"Use Dark Pulse!" Nemona calls. Armarouge sends out a stream of dark energy that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge dodge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge slashes one more psychic orb then jumps to the left easily avoiding the Dark Pulse. Once Ceruledge lands she sees Armarouge charging up another attack as Nemona speaks.
"Use Meteor Beam!" Nemona calls and when Armarouge's about to use the move Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Disable!" Ash calls. "What?!" Nemona says in surprise as Ceruledge's eyes glow and disables the Meteor Beam. Armarouge has a surprised look on its face as Ash speaks.
"Good job Ceruledge now run forward!" Ash calls. Ceruledge nods and begins running forward heading for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"If Meteor Beam isn't going to work then we'll just do this! Armarouge Armor Cannon full power!" Nemona calls with Armarouge nodding as it shoots out a large stream of fire that heads for the still running Ceruledge. Ceruledge looks at the move and isn't worried as Ash speaks.
"Okay Ceruledge use Bitter Blade and speed yourself up with Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Ceruledge nods as she covers her blades in purple fire and covers her body in purple fire too. Ceruledge runs faster and when she makes contact with the Armor Cannon, she begins to slash at it and is cutting through the move easily. The crowd have surprised looks on their faces as up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"I see Ash knew that Bitter Blade wouldn't be enough so he's increasing Ceruledge's speed with Flame Charge allowing her to easily cut through the Armor Cannon." Tracey says with the group nodding as back on the battlefield Ceruledge has just finished cutting up the Armor Cannon and is now in front of Armarouge. The two mons look at each other as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge use Lava Plume!" Nemona calls. Armarouge roars and summons a large inferno of scarlet fire that heads for Ceruledge as Ash speaks.
"Dodge with Phantom Force!" Ash calls. Before the Lava Plume can hit her, Ceruledge quickly summons a portal and goes inside it dodging the attack. A couple seconds later a portal appears on Armarouge's left side and out of it appears Ceruledge who heads for Armarouge as Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge quick use Dark Pulse!" "Ceruledge use Flame Charge to increase your speed then use Night Slash!" Both trainers' call. Just when Armarouge's about to use Dark Pulse Ceruledge shoots forward with Flame Charge and reaches Armarouge. Ceruledge covers her blades in dark energy, puts them together and slashes Armarouge landing a critical hit and landing behind the mon. Armarouge groans in pain as it falls on its stomach Nemona speaks.
"Armarouge!" Nemona calls in worry as she along with everyone else can see that Armarouge's knocked out Hassel makes the call.
"Armarouge's unable to battle Ceruledge's the winner!" Hasel calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu, and Ceruledge to cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the fire types, Gengar, Corviknight, and Kingambit cheering the loudest. Back at the stadium Ash's friends cheer too as Tracey speaks.
"After a long and tough battle Ceruledge managed to win." Tracey says as Rinto speaks.
"Yes, but don't forget Nemona still has one Pokémon left." Rinto says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Nemona's surprised that Armarouge lost then returns the mon back to its Pokeball. When she does that, she tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. She then looks forward seeing Ash celebrating as he looks at Ceruledge and speaks.
"Great job Ceruledge just one more and we win!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Ceruledge nodding as Nemona speaks.
"You look very excited Ash." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Of course, I am because my Pokémon and I are close to winning." Ash responds with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"Yes, I understand that, but you should know that even though I have one Pokémon left you shouldn't celebrate too early. Now! Meowscarada, Come Out!" Nemona says as she throws the ball forward and sends her shiny Meowscarada back in. Once the mon appears it has a smile on its face and looks at Ceruledge with the mon looking back as Ash begins to think.
"That's right Meowscarada's her final Pokémon and I definitely shouldn't be underestimating it. Especially since it took out Raichu with little effort." Ash says to himself as he then looks over at Ceruledge and speaks.
"Ceruledge, I know you're tired, but do you want to continue?" Ash asks with the mon nodding, making Ash happy as he speaks.
"Great then let's do this!" Ash says with Ceruledge nodding as she along with Meowscarada get into battle stances. Hassel calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. When Ceruledge goes to use the move Nemona speaks.
"Sucker Punch!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada turns into a dark type, disappears and reappears in front of Ceruledge. Meowscarada covers its left fist in dark energy and punches Ceruledge hard across the face causing super effective damage. This also activates Ceruledge's Weak Armor ability which means that her speed has increased as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge use Bitter Blade!" "Meowscarada dodge then use Mud Slap!" Both trainers' call. Ceruledge covers both of her blades in purple fire and goes to hit Meowscarada, but the mon easily dodges the attack. Ceruledge continues trying to hit Meowscarada and when she's about to hit the mon Meowscarada turns into a ground type and spits mud into Ceruledge's face. Not only does this cause super effective damage but the mud also gets into Ceruledge's eyes blinding her as Nemona speaks.
"Okay Meowscarada finish it off with Night Slash!" "Ceruledge quick use Phantom Force to dodge!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Ash Ceruledge can't dodge in time as Meowscarada covers its claws in dark energy and slashes Ceruledge causing super effective damage and landing a critical hit. Ceruledge groans in pain then falls on her back as Ash speaks.
"Ceruledge!" Ash calls in worry as he along with everyone can see that Ceruledge is knocked out Hassel speaks.
"Ceruledge's unable to battle Meowscarada's the winner!" Hassel calls allowing for Nemona and Meowscarada to cheer. Up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"And now they both have one Pokémon left." Tracey says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Ceruledge back to her Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball back on his belt. Once Ash does that he looks forward and speaks.
"I have to say Nemona your Meowscarada has certainly gotten a lot stronger since the last time I saw it." Ash says making Nemona smile as she speaks.
"Thanks, we've been training hard for this battle and we're going to win!" Nemona says with Meowscarada agreeing with her as Ash smiles and speaks.
"Okay but in order for that to happen you'll need to battle and defeat my last Pokémon." Ash says while holding his final Pokeball in his hand with Nemona nodding. Ash then gets a serious look on his face as he goes to throw the ball and speaks.
"Sceptile, I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Sceptile. Once Sceptile appears he has a serious look on his face and puts his stick in his mouth. Sceptile looks at Meowscarada and glares at it with Meowscarada glaring back as Nemona speaks.
"Wow so your Grovyle evolved into a Sceptile. It looks cool!" Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Not only does Sceptile look cool he's grown a lot stronger and this time he's going to take down your Meowscarada." Ash says with Sceptile agreeing with him as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"We'll see about that. Meowscarada get ready!" Nemona says with the grass cat nodding as it gets in a battle stance Ash speaks.
"Sceptile, you get ready too!" Ash says with the grass gecko nodding as he gets in a battle stance too. Up in the stands Hau speaks.
"So, the final battle is going to be between two fully evolved grass starters." Hau says as Rinto speaks.
"They both look very strong meaning that this battle could go either way." Rinto says as Cameron speaks.
"Man, I'm so excited for this!" Cameron says with Barry agreeing with him as they along with the others continue to watch. Back on the battlefield the two trainers along with their Pokémon continue to look at each other as Hassel speaks.
"Both trainers have one Pokémon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" Hassel says with both trainers nodding as Hassel continues to speak.
"Now let the final battle begin!" Hassel says as Ash speaks.
"Let's do this Sceptile! Use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls with Sceptile nodding as he goes to use the move Nemona speaks.
"Use Sucker Punch!" Nemona calls as Meowscarada turns into a dark type, shoots forward and instantly reaches Sceptile. Meowscarada punches Sceptile hard across the face with its right fist causing damage to the mon. Meowscarada then gets its left fist ready as Nemona speaks.
"Use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada turns into a flying type and punches Sceptile hard across the face causing super effective damage. Meowscarada then goes to punch Sceptile again with its right fist as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile dodge then use Thunder Punch!" Ash calls. Sceptile manages to dodge the attack by moving to the right. Sceptile then covers his right fist in electricity and punches Meowscarada hard in the face causing super effective damage. Meowscarada groans in pain as Ash speaks.
"Use Thunder Punch again!" Ash calls. Sceptile covers his right fist in electricity and goes to punch Meowscarada again as Nemona speaks.
"Use Flower Trick!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada quickly turns into a grass type as a bouquet of flowers suddenly falls on top of Sceptile's head and creates an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Sceptile who's sent sliding back a few feet away. Sceptile shakes his head then looks forward as Nemona speaks.
"Use Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar and summons two large vines that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Sceptile then use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile manages to easily evade the two large vines then shoots forward heading for Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Meowscarada block then use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada quickly brings up its arms as Sceptile makes contact with them. Meowscarada's sent sliding back a few feet away but then stops itself as it turns into a flying type and jumps forward going to hit Sceptile with its left fist as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile counter with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls. Sceptile covers his right fist in electricity and collides with Meowscarada's left fist. The two mons look at each other and try to overpower their opponent as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile use Leaf Blade!" "Meowscarada dodge then use Chilling Water!" Both trainers' call. Sceptile turns the leaves on his left arm into a grassy blade and goes to hit Meowscarada. Meowscarada manages to back away in time as it then turns into a water type, summons a ball of water from its right paw and throws it forward as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile punch it back with Thunder Punch!" Ash calls. Sceptile covers his right fist in electricity and punches the water ball sending it back. The water ball turns into an electric ball and goes to hit Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Dodge then use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada easily dodges the electric ball then turns into a flying type and shoots forward heading for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Counter with Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile shoots forward too as he along with Meowscarada collide creating an explosion. The two mons appear out of the explosion and land on the battlefield a few feet away from each other as Nemona speaks.
"Use Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada places its left paw on the battlefield and summons 4 large vines that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile dodge and use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods as he manages to easily dodge the first 3. When the 4th one goes to hit him the leaves on Sceptile's arms become grassy blades as he easily slashes the vine in half. Suddenly Meowscarada appears in front of Sceptile and has its fists ready as Nemona speaks.
"Use Play Rough!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada's fists glow in fairy energy and go to hit Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile dodge then use Iron Tail!" Ash calls. Sceptile quickly moves to the right and dodges Meowscarada's attack. Sceptile then covers his tail in steel energy, spins around and slams it hard into Meowscarada's stomach. Meowscarada coughs in pain and is sent flying as Ash speaks.
"Great now use Aerial Ace!" "Flower Trick!" Both trainers' call. When Sceptile's about to go after Meowscarada the grass cat summons a bouquet of flowers from the sky that hit Sceptile's head creating an explosion as he's sent flying back. Before both mons hit the battlefield, they manage to readjust themselves and safely land. The two mons along with their trainers look at each other and have smiles on their faces. Up in the stands Leaf speaks.
"They both seem to be evenly matched so far." Leaf says with the group nodding as they continue to watch the battle. Back on the battlefield Nemona speaks.
"Man, Ash this battle's fun!" Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I agree" Ash says as Nemona speaks.
"Now that I've seen Sceptile's strength I think it's time for us to go all out." Nemona says as she pulls out her Tera Orb Ash speaks.
"There it is" Ash says as Nemona looks at Meowscarada and speaks.
"Meowscarada you ready?!" Nemona asks with the mon nodding as the orb in Nemona's hand begins to glow. Nemona gets a serious look on her face and speaks.
"Meowscarada shine bright and become a storm of leaves that blows everything away!" Nemona says with the orb glowing more intensely Nemona goes to throw it.
"Now! Meowscarada Terastallize!" Nemona says as she throws the orb forward as it appears above Meowscarada's head. Meowscarada becomes incased in crystal but then a few seconds later it bursts out of it. Meowscarada's eyes are closed, its body is glistening and is wearing a crown jewel that looks like a bouquet of flowers on top of its head. Meowscarada opens its eyes and lets out a roar creating a big shockwave showcasing its power. Once the shockwave disappears Meowscarada looks at Sceptile and has a smile on its face as Ash speaks.
"Looks like they're finally at full power. Sceptile let's match them!" Ash says with the grass gecko nodding as he gets in a battle stance Nemona speaks.
"Give us your best shot!" Nemona says as Meowscarada gets into a battle stance as well. The two mons along with their trainers look at each other as Ash and Nemona speak.
"Use Leaf Storm!" The two trainers call with both mons roaring as they each fire out their own storm of leaves at each other. When the leaves collide Meowscarada's Leaf Storm easily overpowers Sceptile's and heads for the grass gecko as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile use Swords Dance and break through with Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile sharply increases his physical attack power and shoots forward. Sceptile's easily going through the storm of leaves and is about to hit Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Meowscarada block!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada quickly brings up its arms and blocks Sceptile's attack. Meowscarada's sent sliding back a few feet away as Nemona speaks.
"Use Seed Bomb!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada summons a grassy seed from its right paw and throws it at Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. Sceptile turns the leaves on his left arm into a grassy blade and easily cuts the seed bomb in half. Once Sceptile does that Meowscarada appears in front of him and has its feet ready as Nemona speaks.
"Use Triple Axel!" Nemona calls. Before Ash can call for a command Meowscarada covers its feet in ice and kicks Sceptile 3 times in the face. Sceptile groans in pain while Meowscarada smiles as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Sceptile recomposes himself as he covers his right fist in red fighting energy and punches Meowscarada hard in the face sending the mon back down on the battlefield. Meowscarada then bounces off the ground as Ash speaks.
"Now use Iron Tail!" Ash calls. Sceptile covers his tail in steel energy and hits Meowscarada again sending the mon high into the air as Nemona speaks.
"Use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada manages to readjust itself and shoots downward going to punch Sceptile with its left fist as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile back away then use Leaf Storm!" Ash calls. Sceptile quickly jumps back as Meowscarada punches the ground instead. Sceptile lands a few feet away then lets out a roar and sends a big storm of leaves towards Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Blow it away with Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada roars and summons multiple large vines that shoot forward and easily blow the storm of leaves away. The vines now head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Sceptile and use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. When the vines go to hit Sceptile the grass gecko quickly jumps in the air. A few of the vines go after Sceptile but the mon turns the leaves on his arms into grassy blades and slashes them. Sceptile then lands on one of the vines and begins running on it with a few more trying to hit Sceptile but the grass gecko continues to dodge and slash some of them. When another pair of vines go to hit Sceptile, the grass gecko quickly jumps from the vine he's currently on, lands on another one and begins sliding on it as Ash speaks.
"Now use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods as he propels himself from the vine and shoots forward heading for Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Meowscarada quick jump in the air!" Nemona calls. When Sceptile's just inches away from hitting Meowscarada the grass cat quickly jumps high in the air avoiding Sceptile and causing Sceptile to hit the battlefield instead. Sceptile stands back up, shakes his head and looks at Meowscarada who's high in the air as Nemona speaks.
"Use Flower Trick!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar and summons multiple bouquets of flowers that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile dodge!" Ash calls with the grass gecko nodding as he begins running around the battlefield doing his best to dodge the flower bombs as they land on the battlefield creating multiple explosions. As Sceptile keeps running around Nemona speaks.
"Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada gracefully lands back on the battlefield and summons multiple large vines from the ground that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile dodge!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods as he begins to easily maneuver through the large vines. Sceptile continues to dodge until suddenly Meowscarada appears in front of him and is clenching its left fist as Nemona speaks.
"Use Tera Burst!" "Sceptile block!" Both trainers' call. Sceptile's unable to block in time as the crown on Meowscarada's head glows more intensely and punches Sceptile hard in the stomach. Sceptile coughs in pain and is sent flying. Sceptile crashes back on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Sceptile's laying on his back groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Are you okay Sceptile?!" Ash asks with the grass gecko nodding as he stands back up. Once he does the bulbs on his back begin to faintly glow. Ash notices this but before he can say anything Nemona speaks.
"Flower Trick!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada roars and summons multiple bouquets of flowers from the sky that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Sceptile!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods and begins to easily evade them as Nemona speaks.
"Now use Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada places its left hand on the battlefield and summons two large vines that head for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile use Leaf Blade then Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile manages to dodge the rest of the Flower Tricks and sees the two vines coming. Sceptile turns the blades on his arms into grassy blades and easily cuts the vines in half. Sceptile then shoots forward and heads for Meowscarada going to hit the mon. As Sceptile's getting closer he suddenly comes to a stop when he's close to Meowscarada's face. The grass cat has a smile on its face as Sceptile sees that a large vine has wrapped around his body, Jake speaks.
"Looks like Meowscarada's Frenzy Plant has finally grabbed Sceptile!" Jake says as Don George speaks.
"Yes, as without Sceptile knowing the large vine secretly appeared behind Sceptile just when it was about to make contact with Meowscarada." Don George says as back on the battlefield Sceptile begins trying to make the vine let go of him as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile use Leaf Blade to break free!" "I don't think so! Meowscarada summon more vines to restrain Sceptile and hold it up in the air!" Both trainers' call. Before Sceptile can use Leaf Blade Meowscarada summons a couple more vines that restrain Sceptile's arms. The vines then take Sceptile high into the air and hold him there. Sceptile continues trying to break free as Nemona speaks.
"Well Ash your Sceptile put up a good fight, but this is the end." Nemona says as Ash speaks.
"What?! Just because Meowscarada has Sceptile restrained doesn't mean that it's the end!" Ash says as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Actually, it is and it'll be more obvious with this move. Meowscarada charge up a Tera Blast!" Nemona calls with Meowscarada nodding as it puts its hands together and begins to charge up the move. Ash has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"Sceptile quick you got to break out of there!" Ash says as up in the air Sceptile continues trying to break free from the vines but can't. Up in the stands Tracey speaks.
"This isn't good if Ash doesn't get Sceptile out of there he's going to faint!" Tracey says while having a worried look on his face as Barry speaks.
"Come On Ash Get Sceptile Out of There!" Barry cheers along with Hau, Cameron, and Leaf. Rinto continues to watch in silence waiting for Ash to think of something while we come over to Misty who has a worried look on her face and speaks.
"Come on Ash" Misty says to herself. Back on the battlefield Meowscarada's still charging the attack and is getting close to finishing. Over with Ash he's trying to think of a way for Sceptile to break free but can't think of anything as Nemona speaks.
"Looks like your time it's up Ash I'm sorry to say this but it's our victory." Nemona says as she looks at Meowscarada and speaks.
"Okay Meowscarada Fire!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a loud "Scarda!" and shoots out a large beam of grassy energy from its hands that heads for Sceptile. Everyone's amazed by how big the beam is as Ash speaks.
"SCEPTILE BREAK FREE!" Ash yells as back up with Sceptile he sees the beam coming and continues trying to break free but can't. As the beam is getting closer Sceptile's getting desperate he doesn't want to lose to the same opponent again and also wants to win this battle for his trainer. The bulbs on Sceptile's back glow more intensely as he lets out a loud "TILE!" and shoots out a large Solar beam from his mouth that connects with the Tera Blast. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Jake speaks.
"Is that what I think it is?!" Jake asks as Don George speaks.
"Yes, that's Solar beam" Don George says as over with the group Tracey speaks.
"Not wanting to lose Sceptile must've taught himself Solar Beam in order to counter the Tera Blast." Tracey says with the group nodding as they begin to cheer. Back on the battlefield Ash still has a surprised look on his face as he begins to think.
"So, Sceptile's bulbs glowing weren't just my imagination he was charging up a Solar Beam." Ash says to himself as he smiles and speaks.
"That's great Sceptile now beat that Tera Blast!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Sceptile roars increasing the power of the beam and pushing the Tera Blast back. Over with Nemona she still has a surprised look on her face but then smiles and speaks.
"AMAZING ASH! SIMPLY AMAZING! There truly is never a dull moment in battling you! But we're not going to lose this! Meowscarada more Power!" Nemona calls with Meowscarada roaring as it increases the power of the Tera Blast making it push the Solar Beam back. Sceptile begins to struggle as Ash speaks.
"Come on Sceptile DON'T GIVE UP!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as Sceptile roars increasing the power of his Solar Beam more and making it bigger as it begins to push the Tera Blast back. Meowscarada's starting to struggle as Nemona speaks.
"MEOWSCARADA DON'T GIVE UP EITHER!" Nemona cheers with Meowscarada roaring as it increases the power of its Tera Blast more making it bigger as it slowly starts to push the Solar Beam back. The two beams are now back in the middle and continue trying to overpower the other. Everyone continues to watch on waiting to see which attack will overcome the other. As they continue to watch, suddenly both beams veer away from each other surprising everyone. The Solar Beam hits Meowscarada while the Tera Blast his Sceptile creating an explosion on both sides as their trainers speak.
"SCEPTILE!" "MEOWSCARADA!" Both trainers call in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see the two mons on the battlefield laying on their stomachs. The two mons are groaning in pain as their trainers speak.
"Come on Sceptile get up you're not done yet!" "You not done either Meowscarada!" Ash, along with Nemona say with the two-mons nodding as they begin trying to stand up. The two mons continue to struggle until they eventually stand back up. Once they do, they have scratches all over their bodies and are groaning in pain as they stare at each other. Ash along with Nemona smile as Nemona speaks.
"Good job Meowscarada I knew you could do it!" Nemona says happily with Meowscarada nodding as Ash speaks.
"Great job Sceptile!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Sceptile nodding. Sceptile then looks at Meowscarada as his body becomes covered in a green aura. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Jake speaks.
"My word what's going on with Ash's Sceptile?!" Jake asks as Don George speaks.
"Its ability Overgrow activated meaning that it's grass type moves will be a lot stronger now." Don George says as back on the battlefield Ash smiles and speaks.
"Amazing Sceptile your ability activated so let's make sure we win!" Ash says with Sceptile nodding as Nemona speaks.
"Just because Overgrow activated doesn't mean that it'll take down Meowscarada but I'm happy to see you using your full power it makes us even more excited and the battle more intense!" Nemona says with Meowscarada agreeing as it along with Sceptile get into battle stances. The battlefield is now silent as everyone watches on to see who'll make the first move. The two trainers along with their Pokémon continue to look at each other until a piece of rubble falls on the ground. The two trainers and their Pokémon know that this is the start of the final battle as they speak.
"Use Acrobatics!" "Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call as Meowscarada and Sceptile shoot forward and collide with each other creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appear the two mons who are sent sliding away from each other as Nemona speaks.
"Use Leaf Storm!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar and sends a big storm of leaves at Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Counter with your Leaf Storm!" Ash calls. Sceptile roars as he sends his own storm of leaves forward that collide with Meowscarada's. The two attacks go back and forth for a little bit until they cancel each other out. Nemona speaks.
"Looks like their Leaf Storms are now equal." Nemona says to herself as she smiles and calls for her next command.
"Use Seed Bomb!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada nods as it throws not just one but multiple grassy seeds at Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Cut them down with Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. Sceptile turns the leaves on his arms into grassy blades and begins to easily cut through the grassy seeds. Once Sceptile gets rid of the final one Meowscarada suddenly appears in front of him and has its fist ready as Nemona speaks.
"Use Acrobatics!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada's fists glow in blue flying energy and punches Sceptile two times in the face causing super effective damage. Sceptile groans in pain then looks at Meowscarada as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile hit Meowscarada back with Thunder Punch then use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. Sceptile covers his fists in electricity and punches Meowscarada two times in the face. Sceptile then turns the leaves on his left arm into a grassy blade and slashes Meowscarada's stomach causing more damage to the mon. Meowscarada groans in pain then sees that Sceptile has its mouth opened and is charging a Solar Beam as Ash speaks.
"Fire Sceptile!" "Meowscarada counter with Tera Blast!" Both trainers' call. Sceptile roars and fires the beam while Meowscarada puts its hands together, quickly charges the attack and shoots it forward colliding with the Solar Beam. The clash creates a big explosion, Meowscarada's sent sliding back a few feet away but manages to stop itself. Meowscarada then sees Sceptile jumping out of the smoke and is now high in the air as Nemona speaks.
"Use Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar, summons multiple large vines and sends them at Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Dodge Sceptile!" Ash calls. When the vines go to hit Sceptile the grass gecko is easily evading them by jumping from vine to vine as Nemona speaks
"Use Flower Trick!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada continues to roar and summons multiple bouquets of flowers that go to hit Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Keep dodging Sceptile!" Ash calls. Up in the air Sceptile sees the flower bombs coming as he lands on another Frenzy Plant and begins to run. As Sceptile's running he's easily evading the flower bombs and even when some of the large vines try to grab him Sceptile positions himself so that the flower bombs hit the vines instead. Everyone watching the battle is amazed by just how good Sceptile is at dodging everything as back on the battlefield Ash has a smile on his face and speaks.
"Okay Sceptile jump from the vine and head for Meowscarada!" Ash calls with Sceptile nodding as when another flower bomb is about to hit him Sceptile propels himself off the vine and shoots forward allowing the bomb to hit the vine instead creating an explosion. Sceptile's heading for Meowscarada as Nemona speaks.
"Use Tera Blast!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada puts its hands together and roars as it shoots out another beam that heads for Sceptile as Ash speaks.
"Cut through it with Leaf Blade and speed yourself up with Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods as he turns the leaves on his arms into grassy blades and points them forward. Sceptile then boosts himself with Aerial Ace and is easily going through the Tera Blast which surprises everyone. A couple seconds later Sceptile makes it through the attack and is now in front of Meowscarada as Ash speaks.
"Use Leaf Blade!" "Meowscarada block!" Both trainers' call. Sceptile goes to hit Meowscarada with the grassy blade on his right arm, but Meowscarada quickly brings up its arms and blocks the attack. The force of the move sends Meowscarada sliding back as Ash speaks.
"Aerial Ace Sceptile!" Ash calls. Sceptile quickly shoots forward and rams his head hard into Meowscarada's stomach causing super effective damage. Meowscarada coughs in pain with Sceptile smirking as he then bounces away from the mon. As Meowscarada continues to hold its stomach Nemona speaks.
"Seed Bomb!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada summons a big seed from its right paw and throws it forward as Ash speaks.
"Block Sceptile!" Ash calls. Sceptile quickly brings up his arms and blocks the grassy seed as there's then an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Sceptile who has some scratches on his body but managed to fully block the attack as Nemona speaks.
"Frenzy Plant!" Nemona calls as suddenly a large vine appears and jabs Sceptile hard in the stomach. Sceptile coughs in pain as the vine sends Sceptile crashing on the battlefield a few feet away creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Sceptile!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Sceptile's laying on his back groaning in pain. A couple seconds later Sceptile manages to stand back up and looks over at Meowscarada. The two mons look at each other and are panting heavily with their trainers panting too as Nemona smiles and speaks.
"Now this is what I call a battle! You and me going head to head at full strength! Back at home and during my travels here there have been battles that were difficult but all of them are nothing compared to this one!" Nemona says while having a big smile on her face as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I know what you mean Nemona this is why I love battling too because it pushes not just us but our Pokémon to the limit too." Ash says with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"Agreed! But like all battles this one needs to come to an end as it seems like both of our Pokémon won't be able to continue much longer. Even though I want this battle to continue forever." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yeah, I also want this battle to continue but you're right about it ending soon. So, how about we end this battle with our next attacks" Ash says with Nemona nodding as she speaks.
"You got it Ash! Meowscarada use Tera Blast!" Nemona calls. Meowscarada lets out a roar as its crown jewel glows intensely. Meowscarada's claws on its right paw glow an intense green and extend. Once they get long enough Meowscarada looks at Sceptile and smiles. Ash along with Sceptile look at the mon as Ash speaks.
"Okay Sceptile one final Leaf Blade at full power!" Ash calls. Sceptile nods as he roars too and the leaves on his right arm turn into a grassy blade. The blade grows long too until it's as long as Meowscarada's claws. Sceptile looks at Meowscarada and smiles with Meowscarada smiling back. Nemona then speaks.
"This is it Ash our final attacks that'll decide who'll win this battle." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he speaks.
"Yep, and it's going to be us!" Ash says with Sceptile agreeing with him Nemona smiles and speaks.
"No way it's going to be us!" Nemona says with Meowscarada agreeing with her making Ash smile. After that Ash along with Nemona and the two mons get serious looks on their faces and stare at each other. They continue to stare at each other until a piece of rubble falls on the battlefield causing the two trainers to speak.
"GOOOOOOOO!" Ash along with Nemona yell as Sceptile and Meowscarada jump towards each other. Everyone watches seeing the two-mons getting closer and closer to each other. Then when they get close enough, they go to strike their opponent as they yell.
"SCARADA!" "SCEP! TILE!" The two-mons yell as they then slash each other with their attacks and appear behind each other. After that they then land back on the battlefield and are standing. Everyone along with their trainers look on in silence waiting to see who'll fall. We see Ash's Sceptile groaning in pain as he gets on one knee, over with Nemona's Meowscarada it has a smile on its face until a couple seconds later its smile fades away. The mon closes its eyes and falls on the battlefield landing on its stomach. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces as Hassel makes the call.
"Meowscarada's unable to battle Sceptile's the winner! Seeing as Contestant Nemona has no more Pokémon left Contestant Ash is the winner!" Hassel says as back on the battlefield Ash has a surprised look on his face at first but then smiles and speaks.
"ALL! RIGHT!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer while Sceptile smiles as Jake speaks.
"After a long and tough battle Ash Ketchum has come out the victor and has won the Orange League Tournament!" Jake says causing the crowd to let out a loud cheer. Back at Oak's ranch Delia, Mr. Mime, Oak, Daisy, Rose, and Ash's Pokémon cheer too with the grass types cheering the loudest as they also fire out a happy Leaf Storm which surprises everyone. Back at the stadium Ash's friends cheer too as Barry speaks.
"I can't believe it he beat Nemona!" Barry says happily as Cameron and Hau speak.
"He did it!" The two boys cheer happily while Rinto smiles Leaf speaks.
"Yeah! That's my Bro!" Leaf says happily with Misty's Togetic and Poliwag cheering too as Tracey speaks.
"This means that Ash has now gained the right to challenge Drake" Tracey says happily with Misty nodding as she has a happy look on her face. Over with Drake he's still sitting on his throne and has a smile on his face. Back on the battlefield Sceptile has walked back over to Ash and Pikachu who wrap the grass gecko in a big hug as Ash speaks.
"You did it Sceptile! I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say as Sceptile smiles. Suddenly Ash's Pokeball's wriggle as Ceruledge, Sirfetch'd, Melmetal, Raichu, and Dracovish come out of their Pokeballs. Ash looks at the 5 mons and speaks.
"I can't forget about you guys as you did amazing too!" Ash says making the 5 mons happy as they also congratulate Sceptile who tells them thank you. Meanwhile, over with Nemona she has a surprised look on her face as she can't believe that she lost. Nemona then smiles and begins walking over to Meowscarada. Once she makes it to the mon she helps it stand back up. Meowscarada opens its eyes looks at Nemona and tells her sorry as Nemona speaks.
"Come on Meowscarada you don't need to apologize as you along with everyone else did great in this battle." Nemona says with Meowscarada nodding as they then hear a voice.
"Nemona!" The voice says causing Nemona and Meowscarada to look forward as they see Ash along with his Pokémon running over to them. Once they get close enough Ash looks at Nemona and speaks.
"Nemona that was an amazing battle and probably the most intense one during my travels in the Orange Islands" Ash says with his Pokémon agreeing with him making Nemona along with Meowscarada smile as she speaks.
"We feel the same, but this battle probably won't be your most intense one as you have one more battle now that you've beaten us." Nemona says with Ash nodding as he looks over at Drake who's sitting on his throne and has a smile on his face. Nemona then speaks.
"Ash now that you've beaten us you can't lose to Drake no matter what" Nemona says as Ash looks at her and speaks.
"You don't need to worry Nemona because as long as I got my Pokémon with me, we'll take on and defeat anyone!" Ash states with his Pokémon agreeing with him. This makes Nemona, along with Meowscarada smile as Nemona then holds out her right hand and speaks.
"Ash, I wish you luck in your battle tomorrow" Nemona says as Ash takes Nemona's hand and speaks.
"Thank you" Ash says and shakes Nemona's hand Jake then speaks.
"Let's all give one more round of applause to Contestants Ash and Nemona!" Jake says as the crowd begins to cheer/clap for them allowing the two kids and their Pokémon to wave at them. After that Hassel comes over and congratulates the two of them while crying tears of joy. Ash along with Nemona then return their Pokémon back to their Pokeball's (other than Pikachu) and head back to where everyone else is. When they reunite with the group they congratulate them on their battle, making the two kids happy. Once that's done it's then revealed that Ash's and Drake's battle will begin at 11am tomorrow morning. The crowd, along with the group then leave the stadium, Ash says goodbye to his rivals as he along with the group make it to the Pokémon Center. When they do, Ash makes a quick call to Prof. Oak to switch out his Pokémon. Once that's done Ash spends the rest of the day training the Pokémon he's going to be using for his battle against Drake tomorrow. When it becomes nighttime Ash finishes his training as he heads back to the Pokémon Center room that he and the others are staying at and goes to bed.
