Tales of the Multiverse Bit 273

"Let's get going!"

Upon receiving the enthusiastic order from King Bugs Bunny, all the team members eagerly climbed aboard their ship. As they began their journey, Master Yen Sid couldn't help but watch them with a proud grin on his face, feeling a sense of accomplishment as they set off.

The tale begins with a heart-stopping opening as the planet Allianz gets overrun by the invaders from the GMC Abduction Society and their objective is to snatch up as many figures as they can, with the intent to bolster the Grand Master Collector's ever-expanding "collections".

"WE'RE DOOMED!" Dick Simmons yelped and his voice hitting high notes like a scared teenager, "WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" he exclaimed in panic.

The narrative then shifts to the bustling city of Xustica where the OMEGA SQUADRON team is hard at work. They're in the thick of it, helping the local people scurry to the safety of a nearby spaceship, all while dealing with the pesky invaders.

"Come on, Simmons, keep your head in the game!" Agent Carolina yelled while trying to keep everyone's spirits high as Frank DuFresne and Franklin Delano Donut fired their blasters at the invaders, "Let's get these folks to the ship, pronto!" she beckoned.

"There are just too many of these guys!" Rhea Ryot cried out in panic, "We won't last if this keeps up!" she exclaimed and letting off round after round of bullets from her guns while trying to keep the enemy at bay.

John-117 took a moment to shoot an invader and then turned to the group with a reassuring nod, "Just stay with it!" he beckoned, "We'll hightail it out of here once we've got everyone on that ship!" he promised.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!" Michael J. Caboose yelled with the excitement of a kid playing a video game as he fired his weapon at the approaching enemies before tossing a grenade in their direction with a flick of his wrist and letting out a cheerful "Boom!" as the explosion sent them flying into the air.

Agent Washington then slammed the butt of his rifle into one of the invaders and then laying them out flat on the ground, "Damn!" the young man in the black armor exclaimed in annoyance, "This isn't what I had planned for my morning!" he grumbled to himself.

Super Colonel Sarge let out a hearty laugh before taking down two attackers with a swift gunfire and then spinning around to blast three more who'd snuck up from behind, "Heh, heh, heh!" he chuckled, "Looks like I've got the upper hand here!" he taunted, "You guys picked the wrong day to wear orange!" he exclaimed, "Makes you so much easier to spot and more fun to take out!" he declared in amusement.

Lavernius Tucker pulled out his plasma sword and swiftly chopped at an invader heading his way, "You're only saying that because their colors make you think of Grif!" he exclaimed before pausing for a beat, "Speaking of, where is he at the moment?" he inquired.

In a flash, a small holographic image of Leonard L. Church materialized in front of Tucker's eyes, "I had him to go prep a Pelican in the hangar, just to be on the safe side." Church replied.

"Good call." Samus Aran nodded in approval, "I just hope he doesn't mess this up." she murmured in concern.

"Hey, Grif, how's it going with our Pelican?" Rhea asked and her voice crackled over the radio.

The camera then pans to the hangar where the staff members is bustling around while preparing various ships and filling them up with civilians. Dexter Grif is then spotted inside the Pelican's cockpit with his hands on the controls.

"Not so good, Rhea!" Grif answered with a hint of frustration in his tone, "Every time I try to start it, all I get is this annoying clunk!" he complained.

Sarge's voice boomed through the radio, "You'd better sort that out or I'll be the one giving you a good clunk!" he warned and clearly not pleased with the situation.

"Goddamn it!" Grif swore under his breath. "Where the hell is Lopez when you actually need the guy?" he complained but paused upon realizing something was off, "Hold on, where is Lopez anyway?" he asked in confusion.

Simmons' voice crackled over the radio, "Well, the last time I checked, he was messing around in the hangar." he answered.

Out of nowhere, Grif started hearing the muffled sound of someone pounding away underneath the Pelican's cockpit.

"Pendejo!" Lopez the Heavy's unmistakable voice echoed from below, "¡Estaba arreglando el motor, vete a la mierda!" he exclaimed in annoyance.

Grif leaned back in his chair, "Oh, come on..." he murmured to himself while shaking his head in disbelief, "Seriously?!" he exclaimed.

Elsewhere in the vast hangar, a TSAB-based spaceship was stationed at the flight deck with crowds of people hurrying to board it.

"Everyone, please take it easy and don't push!" Zafila called out over the noise.

"Remember, there are enough seats for everyone, so no need to worry!" Vita assured them while trying to keep the situation under control. As she spoke, she casually rested her hand on a keychain that Marcus "The Kane" McGee had given her a long time ago, "Please allow me to meet him again." she whispered to herself.

Meanwhile, inside the cockpit, Vance Stream was busy preparing the controls when Shari Finieno plopped down into the chair beside him.

"I've made it, Vance." Shari announced.

"How is everything going?" Vance asked while looking up from his work.

"It's not looking good out there." Shari replied with a frown, "The city's still in the thick of it." she shared, "But, on the bright side, we've managed to squeeze in 20,000 people onto this ship." she reassured.

"That's a weight off my shoulders." Vance said with a sigh of relief.

"All that's left is for the actual team to get on board." Shari pointed out.

"They really need to step on it because I can't stand wasting any more time in this blazing hellhole." Vance complained impatiently.

While Shari and Vance are working on the ship, we all make our way to the main bridge where thankfully, we find Fate Testarossa Harlaown, Hayate Yagami, Nanoha Takamachi, Shamal Wolkenkritter, Signum, Vita and Zafila already there, all safe and sound on board.

"Did everyone make it?" Nanoha questioned and her voice filled with worry.

Signum glanced around, "We're all present." she answered calmly.

Fate let out a sigh of relief, "Whew, that's good to hear." she murmured.

"I hope the others are boarding their ships now." Hayate said out loud while sounding a bit anxious.

"It might take some time but I'm sure they'll get there just in the nick of time." Shamal offered, while trying to ease the tension.

And so, the ship from the TSAB lifted off, carrying with it a group of hopeful souls who couldn't help but wish that their friends and loved ones back on the ground would be joining them very soon.

Meanwhile, in the heart of the DDU's main control center, Kat Manx was deeply engrossed, her eyes darting between multiple computer screens as she juggled incoming reports from the field.

"Hold on, everyone..." Kat murmured to herself while a bead of sweat sliding down her furrowed brow, "Just a little more time..." she trailed.

Kat's ears then perked up at the faint sound of small explosions outside but she remained calm and carried on with her task of typing away at various keyboards.

Kat then subsequently activated the communication device embedded in her left auricular accessory, "Could everyone please provide a status update?" she inquired.

At that moment, three holographic screen emerged before Kat and revealing the visages of Ahab Ishmail Ali and Marika Katou on two separate screens. The third dscreen presented the image of Stallion Silvestre, accompanied by the figures of Edward Kramer, Garrus Vakarian, and Zaeed Massani, whom are positioned in the background.

"This is Captain Ahab speaking..." Ahab began, "... I can confirm that 65 percent of the population have been successfully accommodated on board the Lady Whisker, and we are now prepared to commence our departure." he stated.

"Indeed, the situation is quite comparable here." Marika concurred in agreement, "We have successfully accommodated the necessary number of passengers aboard the Bentenmaru and we are prepared to make our leave." she affirmed.

"Our vessel, the Spirit, has managed to safely embark 45% of the residents, and we are similarly prepared for immediate departure." Stallion corroborated.

Kat acknowledged the information with a nod while expressing her appreciation, "Thank you both for your diligence." she replied, "You are hereby instructed to depart at your earliest convenience." she directed with a gesture of assent.

Thus, the trio of screens dissipated, and in their stead, an array of seven additional holographic panels manifested, each bearing the visage of Artanis, David Edward Anderson, Jim Raynor, Shunsui Souzousuke Jirou Kyouraku, Steven Hackett, Terrence Hood and Victor Hoffman, arranged in a manner most respectfully before her.

"Status?" Kat requested.

"The troops under my command, accompanied by several civilians, are prepared to embark immediately." Artanis declared.

"Likewise." Colonel David affirmed, "We are in the process of making our exit." he shared.

"My apologies for the delay in communication, Miss Kat." Jim expressed, "My contingent, along with a few civilians, have already commenced their evacuation." he revealed.

"I, too, have dispatched a number of my personnel via portal while ensuring the safe passage of several civilians." Shunsui concurred while providing his own report.

"We deeply regret to report that a substantial number of civilians and esteemed heroes have been taken into captivity by the hostile forces." Steven conveyed with a solemn expression.

"Do not be disheartened." Terrence assured with conviction, "We shall proceed to plan and execute a rescue operation posthaste." he stated, "However, our immediate priority is to safeguard the remaining civilians and ensure our own well-being." he gestured emphatically.

"Dr. Manx, it is advisable that you also evacuate the premises." Victor suggested with urgency.

Kat nodded in response, "Will do." she complied.

Subsequently, the septet of screens vanished, and upon diligently working on decrypting several codes across various keyboards, she depressed the central button, causing the entire control center to abruptly halt its operations.

Collecting a set of critical documents, Katrina exited the chamber, "An imposter had infiltrated our staff..." she whispered in disbelief, "And the individual responsible for this treachery shall indeed be held accountable." she declared with a firm resolve.

Elsewhere, up in the fiery red skies above the bustling city, there's a massive starship that looks like a turtle called the Galapagos and it's floating right there, and inside the starship's main control room, we see DarkSuperstarmon, Doggymon and ShadowWereGarurumon all huddled together. They're eyeing a bunch of glass pods filled with people they've just nabbed and these poor souls are about to become the latest additions to the Grand Master Collector's ever-growing assortment of captives.

"Woohoo!" ShadowWereGarurumon shouted while pumping his fists in the air, "Looks like I might be moving up the ranks soon with this many captures!" he exclaimed with Doggymon giggling in agreement and is obviously enjoying the moment.

"I'd say we've gone a bit overboard." DarkSuperstarmon commented while raising an eyebrow, "But I guess the more the merrier, right?" he mused before glancing over at Hitmonlee Lee who was casually leaning against the wall, "So, what's the plan now, buddy?" the star-shaped creature inquired.

With a sinister smirk, Lee's arms remained firmly crossed over his chest as he issued the command, "Just go ahead and blow this whole city to smithereens, and let's take this entire world with it." he stated and his tone was eerily casual as if he were discussing the weather.

DarkSuperstarmon nodded back at him and a bit too eagerly. "You got it, boss!" he complied while giving a cheeky thumbs-up before turning to his crew, "Get those Sakuradite Bombs prepped and ready to roll!" he ordered, "This world is about to go out with a bang!" he cheered.

ShadowWereGarurumon couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the absurdity of it all, "Seriously, dude?" he questioned and his voice filled with disbelief, "Overkill much?" he uttered out loud while Doggymon found the whole situation hilariously over-the-top and couldn't help but let out a little giggle.

As the city of Xustica lay sprawled out before them, a once vibrant bastion of life now transformed into a shadow of its former self, the air was thick with the acrid scent of dread and the distant as a mournful wail of the city's final cries for help.

Down below, the ALPHA SQUADRON's personal spaceship sat stationary on the launching pad, its engines rumbling with anticipation. The squadron members, their faces etched with the weight of the impending doom, sprinted towards it with a sense of urgency that could not be mistaken.

"What kind of cowards attack from the sky and leaving us to burn?!" Lunamaria Hawke shouted and her voice cracked with fear and anger.

Kaede Fuyou, her eyes ablaze with a fierce resolve, turned to her comrade and spoke with a conviction that could have moved mountains, "Luna, now is not the time for anger or despair." the orange head beckoned, "We will hunt them down, track the intruders to the ends of the galaxy if we must, and make them pay for this atrocity!" she exclaimed.

As if in response to her words, Chikane Himemiya's gaze shot upwards and her eyes widening with horror, "Look!" she shrieked while pointing at the sky as a deluge of fiery meteors rained down and each one a harbinger of unspeakable destruction.

"Sakuradite Bombs!" Sabrina Swanson exclaimed and her voice trembling with the gravity of the situation, "They're going to level the city!" she cried out.

Theamilla Rose Arystar took a deep breath and barked out an order with a calmness that belied the chaos around them, "Move, now!" she yelled out loud, "Get to the ship!" she demanded, "We must leave before it's too late!" she exclaimed.

Her team didn't need to be told twice as they dashed towards the gleaming vessel with the desperation of those who have nothing left to lose.

The doors to the spaceship slammed shut with a finality that seemed to echo through the very fabric of the universe. The engines roared to life, a cacophony of power and defiance in the face of the impending disaster as the ship began to ascend, tearing through the air like a bullet escaping the barrel of fate itself.

But the bombs, those malicious seeds of destruction, had other plans. One by one, they struck the ground, their impacts sending shockwaves rippling through the cityscape, toppling buildings like they were mere toys. The city was engulfed in a symphony of fire and ash, each explosion birthing a monstrous mushroom cloud that grew and grew until they merged into a single all-consuming inferno.

The ALPHA SQUADRON's ship was caught in the maelstrom and is tossed about like a leaf in a hurricane. The cockpit was a flurry of activity, each member fighting to regain control, to break free from the clutches of the destruction that sought to claim them. The flames licked at the hull, the heat searing through the metal like it was paper, painting the sky with an angry crimson.

The tension inside the ship grew palpable as the pilots struggled with the controls, "Hold on tight!" Theamilla shouted and her voice was a steady force amidst the chaos, "We're going to make it out of this hellhole!" she declared but even as the words left her lips, the ship took a direct hit, sending it spiraling towards the fiery abyss below.

The city of Xustica, the heart of the planet Allianz, was now a charred wasteland, a tomb for the countless dreams snuffed out in an instant. The explosions grew in magnitude, the very air seeming to burn as the planet itself began to disintegrate, and the sky turned a sickly shade of green which is the color of decay and despair.

In the cockpit of the ship, the squadron members held onto each other, their eyes filled with a mix of terror and determination. They had sworn an oath to protect the innocent, to fight for justice, and now, as their world crumbled around them, they were about to become a part of the very tragedy they had sought to prevent.

The final moments were a blur of sound and fury, the ship's hull groaning under the immense pressure of the planet's explosion and the last thing they heard was the desperate cry of the ship's alarms.

And then, there was silence.

The planet Allianz, once a shining jewel in the cosmic crown, was no more. Reduced to a smoldering cloud of dust and debris, it drifted aimlessly in space, a grim testament to the brutal cost of war. Whether the ALPHA SQUADRON and their remaining comrades had managed to escape the planet's fiery embrace remains unknown.

The only certainty was the echo of their unanswered cries for vengeance, lost in the cold, uncaring vacuum of the universe.
