Erik gently opened the master bedroom door, surprised to see a roaring fire; Christine standing in front of it, wrapped in a velvet dressing gown.

"Tony is back from dropping Rasputin off. Charlotte dramatically retired to her room after he left. Matilda disappeared to her's before I even noticed. Authur was in his pajamas waiting for me in his doorway saying the sooner I tucked him in, the sooner Santa would visit." He closed and locked the door. His jacket already discarded earlier in the evening, The Phantom sat on the edge of the bed and undid his waistcoat and shoes. "I must admit I was disappointed Gustave and Rose did not stay that long."

"I understand though," Christine looked over her shoulder at her husband. "The anxiety of being a first-time mother. And dear Rose is having a terrible time with her moods. Her mother and I gave her some advice."

"Speaking of which…" Erik met his wife's gaze. "How are you feeling, Angel? I know she's not our first but…and we're both not as spry as we used to be."

Christine laughed and turned to face her husband, "I would have never guessed with the spirit in which you entertained tonight. And if God blessed me with a baby at my age, I'm spry enough." She strolled over to him, stopping so she stood between his spread legs, "Entertaining didn't drain you too much did it? Marie just ate and went back to sleep. We have some time to ourselves." She grazed his scalp with her nails.

The Phantom's eyes widen, "Christine, Angel, are you…" He lifted his fingers to the tie of her dressing gown.

She grinned, "Feeling lascivious again?" She tapped his nose, "I do not believe wanton women just stop."

He closed his eyes and sighed, a smile on his lips. He undid the tie without opening his eyes.

"I've been holding back, waiting till tonight thinking it would be a nice, little Christmas surprise for you and a treat for both of us."

"You could have let me known sooner and still done this," The Angel of Music slid his hands inside the robe his hand meeting her bare behind. He breathing shallowed, "I wouldn't have objected to you being a little vixen and making demands of this old…"

She pushed her finger against his lips, "No such talk from those lips." She then pushed the dressing gown open wider at the top, "Put them on the left one, it's not as tender."

The Phantom ran his hands down the curves of his angel's body as she stepped closer so he didn't have to lean as far. She gasped as he softly wrapped his lips and sucked. Almost six years since her sweet cream danced on his tongue, Erik moaned. His stirring loins became a full erection. One of his hands wandered from her rump and found her fur curtain. Fingers parting it, he found she wasn't as wet as she usually was. She said nothing, just wrapped her hands around his head, closing her eyes.

Erik pulled away gently and looked up at her. He saw tears in the corner of her eyes. The baby and age? Like how sometimes I lose my arousal? He looked over to the drawer of his nightstand before lifting his thumb to her face and wiping her tears, "Vaseline?"

After a pause, his Angel smiled but didn't open her eyes, "I'll go get it."

"Not yet," Erik stood. Grabbing her waist firmly, spinning and pushing her onto the bed. "Let me try something first."

Christine giggled as Erik crawled onto the bed. He pushed the dressing gown aside and guided her legs open.

"This wasn't where I planned your lips to go tonight," Christine propped herself up on her elbows.

"Well, it's where they need to be."

The Phantom lowered his head to her sex, tracing it with his tongue slowly and deliberately. After a few circles, Christines chest rose and fell with labored breath. He smiled into her pleasure mound before wrapping his lips around it pulling and sucking on it; firmly at first, then softly, then firmly again.

Little whimpers and moans from Christine joined crackling of the fire place. She pulled her legs in, her thighs holding his head tight, "Firm, Angel and faster!"

He obeyed feeling her nectar collect on his chin. She raised her behind up of the bed, and pushed her cunt forward into his face. "Oh Erik, Erik!" Her legs shook and she pinched her own nipples as an orgasm rolled over her body. Milk leaked from her breasts as in response to her pinch and rolled down onto her stomach as her body collapsed onto the bed.

Erik laughed as he looked down at his spent wife. He licked her cream off her stomach before undoing his trousers and underwear. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I believe we don't need the Vaseline." He guided his rigid member into her before she had a chance to fully recover.

The Phantom tried to keep his rhythm slow, steady and deep atfirst; feeling his wife building to another climax. However, he quickly lost himself in the joy of being inside her again.

Christine saw his face redden, grunts escaping his lips. She knew how premature he could be their first few times after she gave birth. She dug her nails into his shoulders, "Please, please…"

The pain of her nails pulled him back from going over the edge. He slowed down long enough so she could reach paroxysm again. As soon as he felt her womanhood quiver around his manhood he withdrew, shooting his seed onto her stomach. Erik groaned and gasped for air as he laid down beside his wife.

"Oh Christine…my Christine…thank you…what a lovely way to end a splendid Christmas eve."

"You could have spilled inside of me," Christine commented still breathing fast. She wiped his seed away with her robe before tying it back shut and nestling into her Phantom's arms.

He tucked her hair behind her ears, "I didn't want God blessing us with another child so soon since you didn't mention you put your diaphragm in."

"Fair enough."

After a few minutes of silence Christine spoke again, "Did you ever think this is where we'd be the night after my debut?"

He pulled her tighter, "Truthfully, I wasn't thinking that night. I heard Raoul in your dressing room, ruining everything and just acted. Though if I could do anything over, I wouldn't leave you that night you came back to me."

His Angel smacked his chest, still covered in his shirt, "That's not what I asked. Though if that's the game you want to play…did you think we'd be here after you left me that night?"

"Heavens no! Something I've never told you. When you were bleeding after being shot and the doctor didn't know if he could stop it, I thought of ending it all. I knew I couldn't live another day knowing I was the reason you died."

Christine lifted her head off his shoulder, "Erik!"

"I knew where my other gun was…I was going to leave to get it when Gustave ran into the Phantasma hospital crying and screaming asking to see you." He paused taking a deep breath. "Raoul ran in behind him. I knew then I couldn't do it. I had a son to live for, I'd be damned if Raoul was going to keep him!"

The Soprano kissed his cheeks and forehead, tears in her eyes, "Why did you never tell me?"

He caressed her check, "It's the past. It was a fleeting thought of a desperate and manic man. No need to burden you. We've made a wonderful life and family together. And I never thought at this age I'd still have young children to raise."

She pushed her finger against his lips, "No such talk. We're retired and you still have all the time in the world for Arthur and Marie. And now we have a grandchild. And with Charlotte and Rasputin we'll have more in a few years."

Erik entwined his hand with hers, "Will I at least be able to write some music? All this time with my muse is sure to inspire something."

The sounds of Marie cooing and moving things in her bassinet interrupted the conversation.

"Oh dear, I do believe she needs a diaper change," She pulled away from her husband. "That is you, sir since you cannot feed her." She got off the bed, "I'm going to freshen up and put on a nightgown. Happy Christmas, Angel."

Erik smiled at his wife and then looked at the bassinet, "Happy Christmas indeed."
